I know this has been answered a lot of times before and I have read few answers related to my question. 
I have tried out the solution that I have found by reading the answers but they work only for photos. 

I have deleted few big videos from Google Photos (not from phone gallery app) accidentally which has wiped off both from my device and Google Photo cloud storage. I tried using the recovery tools found on Play Store but none of them worked to recover my videos. For some reason, the app can recover videos deleted from Gallery but not from Google Photos, not sure how deletion works in Google Photos. 

Any help would be appreciated...

There are some apps that may be capable of recovering files deleted from your phone's internal storage. This is sometimes possible because of the way a device's operating system handles deletion. (There's a pretty good explanation over at HowToGeek.)
 
Simply put, when you delete a file it is not always "removed" or "deleted" but rather that section of the device storage is marked as being able to receive new data. So, until new data is written to that part of the storage, the old files that were in that physical section of the memory/hard drive are actually still there. 
 
For your specific situation, the tools or apps you used are only able to scan your phone's local memory, which is why the pictures/videos that were visible in your gallery might be recoverable. However, the pictures/videos that were not in your gallery (but still visible in the Google Photos app) cannot be recovered by any such tool.
 
Those files were not on your device's local storage, but rather in the cloud (meaning on one of Google's servers somewhere). It is not possible for an app on your phone to access the company's servers in the same manner that it can access your device.

I guess I haven't explained my situation properly. The videos that I have deleted through Google Photos were also visible in my Phone Gallery. The recovery apps were able to recover videos/photos which were deleted through phone gallery (or I don't know/remember whether if it recovered any photos/videos which were deleted through Google Photos as well).

One option I have seen/read is rooting the phone (I would consider this as the LAST option) which is not highly recommended as I know that this would end all the future updates to my phone and probably there are some other consequences/security risks. 

I will have a look into the links you have shared with me (most likely I have read them already) but if you/anyone who is reading this have any other useful information, that would be really appreciated.

I suggest you turn off backup & sync till the "getting your photos" prompt vanishes.
 
Next, here are some possible reasons for the backup getting stuck.
 
# The quantum of photos to be backed is high.
# WIFI connectivity is intermittent. Too many devices connected to the same router thus restricting the bandwidth.
# Download & upload speeds are too asymmetric.
# Google Photos app is not allowed to use
  • Data in the background
  • Mobile data
  • Mobile data while roaming
# Activation of data saver through the settings.
# Putting a limit on the daily use of mobile data through the settings in the app.
# Putting a limit on the use of total data in a month through the settings in the phone.
# Activating battery saver or super saver mode.
 
Can you please go through these checks & confirm that these are addressed?
Also, please make a test of the internet speed through any browser on your phone.

Since you have tagged "Web" I believe you have put the card in the slot of a desktop PC.
 
If so, the card will appears with a distinct drive letter in the explorer.
Through that, you can upload the pics to Google Photos.
 
However, the web version of Google Photos app will never show folders on the computer.

Yes, you can disable the partner sharing by following the steps outlined on the official Google Photos Help page (at the bottom you'll see Remove a Partner). 
 
This is separate from album sharing. So, if your current partner is also one of the people in a shared album, he/she will not be removed from those albums when you disable the partner share, and you will also still be able to add that person to new/other shared albums.

To my experience from long ago, it was added to your own library according to your own quality setting. 
But it is a bit cumbersome to test this again. 
Maybe you are to compare his originals with your copies by moving-up a picture: then you see its technical properties and you should look to the amount of MB or KB. If your version has much lower MB's or KB's they don't count for your storage because then they were compressed to high quality standards.

  • Tap once again to make the controls visible.

  • The pop-up screen will show the following options "My music" "Theme Music" or "No music".
  • My music allows replacing the current music with your recording in MP3 format.
  • Theme music shows the entire collection available through Google under various headings. Select any that you like. Once selected, tap on the tick mark at the top right corner.
  • Save the edited movie.

Robert, Google photos automatically detect and prevent duplicate backup. In the event that the metadata of duplicate photos is the same, it will not be uploaded.
 
Unfortunately, there is no feature to scan & detect existing duplicated photos. You will have to remove them manually.

Although your Photos account exists while your Google Account is active, there is no reason to delete the account. You can simply make it disappear by logging out of the account on your devices.
 
Open the Google Photos App on your phone. Select your image icon (or Letter) in upper right, then select your icon again (with email address listed), then select Use Without Account.
 
Alternatively, you can just uninstall the Google Photos App if you don't want to use it with another account.

The upper limit for the photos in an album is 20,000
You can add as many photos as you wish till you reach this limit.

But best to restrict to one year per album - large albums become very uncomfortable. 
If you want all years in one album, you should be much more selective than many are. 
If the album is ready, you can add text banners between the years. 
Be aware that google photos can sort on date only and if many picture are scanned old prints & slides, you will have great troubles. Come back if you need more information.

Sorry Nour, we did not understand your question quite well. 
After you have selected up to 500 at max, you hit the + and select Album > New album and then type a name like 2020 on top. 
Then go back you your mainstream and select up to 500 others at max from 2020 and then hit the + again and then select album 2020. Etc. until all 2020-photos are added to the same album. 
And then you can start with the 2019 heap. 
You also can start with the 2021 album, but then you can add new pictures gradually.

PS: afterwards you can remove less important pictures from an album without removing them from the mainstream - just to get a nicer album.

But the picture quality also is influenced by the optical quality of the lens and your technical skills. 

An image with 400x300 pixels is called a "thumbnail".

A photo can be a member of multiple albums. You need not remove that from the first album to add into another one..
 
Further albums are "Cloud only"  entities.
Nevertheless, you can down load an album through the following steps.
 
Enter the link https://photos.google.com/albums in any of the web browsers available on your phone. Log into your account.
 
Open the required album & tap the three dots 
Select option "Download all".
Select the destination folder on SD card & then the browser will download the content.
 
However, when the quantum is large, the content will be zipped. You will have to unzip that using suitable utility.

This is nonsense and maybe caused by your printer-app. 
But your picture may have too less pixels for printing on A4-size and generally printing on normal paper will not result in a good printquality at all - your inkt is too expensive for doing that. 
Generally photos from Whatsapp can be printed up to a standard photopaper size of 4x6 inch (10x15 cm).

You don't need to feel like a dummy, but the sender maybe quite dummy instead - especially if they use Adobe :-) 
But apart from that: you never can edit a shared image - you only can add a comment outside the photo.  
Then you need to download it into your own library and then you can edit it and add some text and then you can add that image to the shared album - but then it will have your name superimposed and then people with Adobe get angry :-)
So Google Photos maybe not the right interface for this situation, but it is hard to suggest a better method.
 
PS: if the file was send as an attachment to a mail, you simply can answer that he should send in standard jpg-format and not in pdf- or some camera raw-format.

To move the pictures to the SD card using the Google Photos app, please follow these steps.
  • Tap on the Library view.
  • Tap the desired folder under Photos on the device.
  • Select photos by long pressing then tap others after the tick confirms the first selection. You can also long-press and slide down while still in pressed condition to select a range of pictures.
  • Tap the 3 dot menu top right
  • Tap Move to folder
  • Tap New SD folder, type a folder name then tap Create
Note that if the photos are backed up to Google Photos this will not remove them from the Photos.
Further, even if you do not select this new SD folder for Backup & sync any contents will still be deleted if deleted using the Google Photos app.

Thanks for feedback, but this only can happen after resetting the app. Not especially after a complete factory reset, but also after removing cache & data and other abnormal actions. 
Apart from processing some very big 4K videos, the app always shows what you have on phone - so why should it be busy with setting-up your library? 
I do think you need to explain more, but having some patience or checking your data-connection also may help.

I too, but when I open the app at home after shooting many outdoors, they are all on top, but it just takes some time before all are backupped also and I never have seen a message about setting-up my library unless after using the app without account for some test. 
Perhaps patience is the right advise now.
