A New Poll About Donald Trump Doomed The Democrats To Defeat In 2018

Democrats and their allies in the media have been licking their chops about the upcoming

midterm elections.

All the talk on cable TV and Capitol Hill has been about the impending blue wave set

to sweep the Democrats into power in November.

But a new poll about Donald Trump just turned everything upside down.

Liberals – both in elected office and in the media – believed they had finally stumbled

upon the silver bullet to take down Donald Trump once and for all.

The media slapped on full court press coverage of the Trump administration's "zero tolerance"

immigration policy.

Every adult who was caught crossing the border was referred for criminal prosecution.

If they had children with them, the kids were transferred to a holding facility while the

adults criminal proceedings played out.

The media turned up the outrage to an 11 and presented the story as the Trump administration

kidnapping the children of illegal aliens and sending them to internment camps where

they are mistreated.

It was a completely phony narrative, but the media focused on it with the heart of a thousand

suns.

Eventually Trump signed an executive order that mandated families be held together while

awaiting deportation, which reversed a 20-year-old policy that forced the government to separate

children from their families if deportation proceedings ran longer than 20 days.

The media cheered because they believe Trump had "caved" on his signature issue of

immigration and that the press had succeeded in turning the American people against the

President.

Liberals believed the images of crying children being herded into detention centers would

repulse the American people and be the final nail in the coffin of the Republicans congressional

majorities.

The left was sadly mistaken.

A brand new Harvard CAPS/Harris poll found Donald Trump's approval ratings actually

ticked up two points in the aftermath of the media's relentlessly negative coverage of

his immigration policy.

And the President's rising approval rating was fueled by a ten point surge amongst Hispanics.

Journalists' plans to sink Trump by painting him as an inhumane monster backfired.

As it turned out, Trump's plan to deport families as a unit was popular.

A CBS/YouGov poll found over 60 percent of Americans backed various proposals to arrest

and deport illegal aliens.

The Democrats and the media were the ones who held the political fringe position of

catch and release.

Just 21 percent of Americans backed the open borders policies championed by the left.

If Democrats wish to make 2018 a referendum on immigration, then they just sealed their

own doom.

And experts can't believe the Democrats would want to base the midterm elections around

Trump's position on illegal immigration—considering it was the single biggest issue in his meteoric

rise in the Republican primaries and his eventual general election victory.

Trump knows that if he can draw the Democrats onto the friendly terrain of immigration,

then the expected blue wave will evaporate.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments in the 2018 midterm elections.

Donald Trump's "unpredictability" a concern for Royal staff as meeting with Queen looms - Duration: 3:24.

Mr Trump is set to meet the Queen during his trip to the UK, which is scheduled to commence on July 13, and US ambassador Robert Wood Johnson has confirmed his trip will include an audience with Britain's Head of State – although Buckingham Palace has not commented

And Mr Fitzwilliams, the former editor of The International Who's Who, said staff close to Her Majesty were certain to be approaching the meeting, which he believes will happen at Windsor Castle, with some trepidation

He said: "They are dealing with somebody who is completely unpredictable and no doubt there is a certain amount of concern about how it will all go

"The actual visit will probably pass off with lots of controversy but no actual problems

"The security aspect will be gigantic, obviously."The problem with Mr Trump is that you never absolutely know what he is going to do

"I don't think the Queen herself will be concerned _ she's used to meeting a large number of different Presidents, as well as other dignitaries

"There is a story, possibly apocryphal, that when the Ceaușescus visited in 1978, she detested them so much she actually hid behind a bush in the gardens of Buckingham Palace to avoid them

"She has literally seen every kind of monarch and leader and nothing will phase her

"Nevertheless, I think her staff are probably likely to be looking forward to getting this one out of the way

"Mr Trump's visit is a precursor to his official State visit, the date of which has yet to be fixed

After Prime Minister Theresa May extended the invitation in 2016, a Parliamentary petition was launched which stated: "Donald Trump should be allowed to enter the UK in his capacity as head of the US Government, but he should not be invited to make an official State Visit because it would cause embarrassment to Her Majesty the Queen

" It quickly attracted the 100,000 signatures necessary to be debated in Parliament, with this happening on February 20, 2017, with 1,863,708 people having signed it as of today

With Mr Trump due to arrive in less than three weeks' time, details of his visit remain scarce

It is unclear as to whether he will meet the Royal Princes for example, or Prince Harry's new American wife Meghan Markle, a staunch supporter of Mr Trump's opponent Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential election

However, widespread protests are anticipated over the New Yorker's controversial immigration policies and comments about women

SUPREME COURT UPHOLDS TRUMP TRAVEL BAN - Duration: 18:00.

early within the scope of presidential authority under federal law the sole

prerequisite set forth in federal laws that the president find that the entry

of the covered aliens would be detrimental to the interests of the

United States the president has undoubtedly fulfilled that requirement

here says Chief Justice Roberts what does this say this decision by the

Supreme Court judge say about presidential authority and and its range

that it cannot be second-guessed by the courts it's a great question Sondra this

really goes to the heart of the difference between the majority and the

minority the the dissenters would question whether or not the president

had a basis for this decision and whether that basis was an animus against

Muslims the majority is ruling we will not question the president's basis

unless it is so irrational that nobody could accept it so if the president says

2+2 equals 22 the court is not bound by it but if the president says it is more

likely than not that harm will come to the country Oh harm will come to the

United States by the unbridled admission of people from these seven countries the

court is in no position to second-guess him because the court lacks the tools

with which the second-guess him and the president has enormous tools available

to him in the executive branch from which to come to that conclusion what do

the opponents do well Eric this is a preliminary ruling this is not the final

ruling by that by that I mean that somebody trying to enter the United

States in Brooklyn or trying to answer the United States and Honolulu from one

of those seven countries can still make an application to enter they can't claim

in that application that the travel ban is unconstitutional but they can claim

that it doesn't apply to them by demonstrating that they are not harmful

to the country and they will produce good when they come here that's for

trial courts to decide but whatever the trial courts do when

they hear those applications and trust me those applications will come the

trial courts are bound by the Supreme Court's ruling today which is that this

ban is in force and as lawful and is going to be enforced at all the entry

points starting this afternoon do you think that there was a hint that this

was eventually going to be the outcome of this judge back into summer when they

actually let travel ban 3.0 be fully implemented yes and it was that great

observation said where it was the same five to four vote that allowed it to be

implemented at the time look there's not going to be any change at the port of

entry as a result of the Supreme Court decision today except that the

procedures will be permanent the the immigration people won't be walking on

eggs wondering if they're going to lose their their authority this Authority is

now permanent as long as Donald Trump as president or unless he decides to

rescind it he may very well call up kim jongwan and say I'm taking you off the

list well that would change some things if

anybody's allowed to leave North Korea and come here because the president

wrote this executive order he can modify it or unright it however he wants but

unless changed by this president or a successor it remains the law of the land

does this give him the president expanded powers over this issue that he

could expand this disorder and to involve other countries or other issues

yes yes the president could amend this order and include Mexico if he wanted to

now again he would have to make findings that people coming from Mexico are

harmful to the national security of the United States but the Supreme Court has

said if the findings are rational we will not second-guess them as long as I

can I use my silly example as long as he doesn't say two plus two equals twenty

two we are not going to second-guess the president no matter what his political

rhetoric is so this opinion may very well give some poof if you will do

Donald Trump the president to help resolve the problems that we've all been

ringing all hands over at the United States Mexico border in the past two

weeks fair to say judge that this is the first significant legal test of

this administration's policies in power it's the first significant test of this

administration's legal policies and power with respect to immigration

absolutely and it's a wringing uncompromising endorsement of the

choices the legal and constitutional choices made by President Donald Trump

all right judge we're just learning that the remaining two opinions will be

released tomorrow the court now is recessed for now so that is the big

bombshell today that the President of the United States reacted to it by

saying simply Wow all right Judge Andrew Napolitano thank you for jumping on this

breaking news for us pleasure so the Supreme Court has upheld the Trump

travel ban travel ban 3.0 as it has been called of Chief Justice Roberts writing

that the in the majority opinion the proclamation is squarely within the

scope of presidential authority under federal law reject rejecting claims of

discrimination in that travel ban we will have more on this coming up at the

top of the hour join us for a new hour are you is the top of the hour and we

have a Fox News Alert for you a big victory for the Trump administration the

Supreme Court upholding the president's travel ban welcome to a brand new hour

of America's newsroom I'm Sandra Smith why had a busy morning this morning

Sandra hello everyone I'm owner Shaun infield bill hemmer you know it was a

five-to-four decision the justices endorsing the president's authority to

regulate immigration upholding selective travel restrictions into our country

from several mostly Muslim nations Jessie bream is live at the Supreme

Court for us Shannon a big morning there the latest and has been and for right

now this is a celebration for the White House and for the Trump administration

because the 5-4 decision for now is in their favor the Chief Justice writing

for the majority says this by its plain language the federal law the immigration

law here grants the president broad discretion to suspend the entry of

aliens into the United States the president lawfully exercised that

discretion based on findings following a worldwide multi-agency

that entry of the covered aliens would be detrimental to the national interest

there were a number of agencies including homeland security in the State

Department that tried to work with countries around the globe and said

listen if you could provide us the specific information that we have

confidence that people have been vetted from your country before they come to

ours if you can't keep up with those vetting requirements or choose not to

you're going to be on the list of those who are banned now some countries have

actually worked their way off the list but many remain on that list and today

in a 5-4 decision the court found that for now that is the right decision and

this is going to be sent back down to the lower court there's going to be more

legal procedure happening with that but with now the force and the thrust of the

Supreme Court precedent acting and talking about what the president's

powers are in the executive branch there was a lot of argument about whether or

not the president's comments during the campaign and after his election should

be factored in the plaintiff cited numerous things we talked about a Muslim

ban or shutting down the borders this is what the Chief Justice wrote he said the

proclamation is expressly premise on legitimate purposes preventing entry of

nationals who cannot be adequately vetted and inducing other nations to

improve their practices the text says nothing about religion he says yes there

are some heavily Muslim dominant countries that are included but that

fact alone does not support an inference of religious hostility given that the

policy covers just 8% of the world's Muslim population and is limited to

countries that were previously designated by Congress not this

administration or prior administrations as opposing national security risks as

you would imagine there were two very scathing dissents I would say the most

heated came from justice Sotomayor who thinks this court got it totally wrong

by ignoring what the President had to say outside the text of this

proclamation she writes in her dissent the United States of America is a nation

built upon the promise of religious liberty our founders honored that core

promise by embedding the principle of religious neutrality in the First

Amendment the court's decision today fails to safeguard that fundamental

principle it leaves undisturbed a policy first

advertised openly and unequivocally in she quotes here as a quote total and

complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States because the policy now

she says a masquerades behind a facade of national

concerns so for now the ban is upheld that this Court finds five to four that

the president was within his authority based on the text of immigration laws

the text of this travel ban he's done the right thing but now it goes back to

the lower court reversing their decision and telling them now to re well to

thoroughly decide this case on the merits now based on this guidance that

they've gotten from the Supreme Court so it's possible the case ends up back here

but now it goes back to the lower court it's a win today for the white house as

they celebrate and Shannon quickly as far as any further decisions coming down

not today tomorrow though and a day extension in the term yeah we have

another day coming either Wednesday or Thursday and we're gonna get that big

union dues case we've been watching whether public sector employees can be

forced to join a union or forced to pay fees to a union whose political message

they don't agree with could impact millions of people across the country so

it's a big decision that will have a huge impact on unions in this country

we'll get it tomorrow or Thursday and we'll look forward to that meanwhile all

about the travel ban shannon bream outside of the Supreme Court thank you

Anna Shannon just said a big win for the white house and that is where John

Roberts is live in the North Lawn with reaction from the president Johnny had

one succinct specific word in his reaction to this decision

yeah Eric good morning to you the president clearly happy at least in the

initial read of the Supreme Court decision tweeting out a short time ago

Supreme Court upholds Trump travel ban Wow

exclamation mark the White House continues to read through this decision

though because it needs to figure out exactly what this means particularly the

part the part about it being remanded back to the lower courts that have been

the Ninth Circuit and the Fourth Circuit and so the White House does not know

what the ultimate outcome of this is but on the surface at least the fact that

the majority in the Supreme Court has thrown its support behind the

president's authority to enact a travel ban based on national security purposes

is a big win for the White House now the president all along had said that he

thought that the first travel ban should never have been rescinded of course this

is the third iteration of that the first one was attacked in the courts quite

roundly after it was first released but the president always maintained that he

didn't like this didn't like the third one he thought

that the first one should have should have held and I wouldn't expect that the

president will go back to that first one but certainly you know he will probably

stick by his guns that I do have the authority to initiate a ban like this

and therefore that one probably should have stood all along it is important to

point out that while the Supreme Court found that this was not a quote Muslim

ban this was simply a ban of individuals from certain countries that couldn't be

vetted properly Eric the president did on several occasions at least during the

political campaign the presidential campaign say that there was a need for a

Muslim ban so we're expecting a statement from the White House soon

again the White House counsel's office the president through the communications

shop all just reading through this to see exactly what it means but we should

have a statement from them shortly Eric and John do we know one will have more

than a statement will exceed from the President himself and get his reaction

does he have a photo opportunity or an event for the media today there are a

couple of events on the calendar right now in a Medal of Honor ceremony this

afternoon it's not likely that he would say anything about it during the Medal

of Honor ceremony but the first two events are closed but I would expect

that they'll probably open one of those up to the pool particularly based on

this ruling from the Supreme Court and we happen to be the pool network today

so if the president's got something to say I'll be there in person to hear it

all right and we'll bring it to you live to our viewers of course live when the

president reacts personally to this ruling

thank you John Thanks joining us now is Georgia Republican congressman Doug

Collins a member of the House Judiciary Committee and vice chair of the House

GOP conference congressman good morning and and thanks for coming on the program

and we have you on minutes after this travel ban a ruling came down your

thoughts my thought is is the Supreme Court did what they should do and that

was if the President does have the authority he had the latitude to look in

the national security and best interest of our country they'd followed the law

instead of activist courts or judges who decided to make up their own law when

they said nothing about the previous administration many times doing things

by executive yeah they said this is proper in this regard and I think the

sprinkler ruling here how do you think that this

decision is going to play out in the in the broader context of the immigration

debate that is happening in this country right now well I think it wanted

confirms that that the problem the president did what he thought was right

and they have confirmed that and they've sent it back to the lower court to

interpret it under the Supreme Court's ruling on presidential authority which

is a good thing but I think it also brings to highlight

that we need to actually solve the problem of immigration that we have

going on in our country and we need to make sure it's done in a proper way with

security with compassion with the things that the president the four pillars that

he's talked about many times and I think he is the one that actually has said

let's solve this problem and he's made it very clear that this is not a

political issue we've got to move beyond the political issue at the Democrats

seem to like to have and say what can we do to actually solve this problem so

that we have good safe legal immigration of which we're the most generous in the

world considering the headlines right now or that this is a big win for the

Trump administration congressman how will this play out politically how will

this affect a you know the way the administration decides to move forward

with us well I think they'll be continued to decide to move forward in

the way that they have especially on the travel ban I think they'll continue that

process looking at it from the national security interest but I think it's also

going to give impetus I think maybe hope on Capitol Hill to deal with immigration

to deal with the other issues that have been involved in he's been very

outspoken about this this president wants to solve it but he's only do it

the right way the president is not willing to do a half-hearted attempt

it's something that he doesn't believe him he's going to get behind it we're

looking to do that in the house we're looking to hopefully get the Senate on

board of this but we do need to solve it's American people need stability on

both sides of the aisle we need to solve this issue and quit the political games

of making sure that our borders are secure that we're having a verifiable

system inside for businesses to actually hire people and have our economy take

care of but also keeping those out that do not need to be here when you keep

crossing illegally yeah this is obviously the first big

Supreme Court decision to come in on this administration's policies so

considering it is being viewed as a win the five-to-four opinion this was

written by Chief Justice John Roberts it found that this restriction this travel

ban fell squarely within the president's authority obviously this is going to be

talked about in the context of what the president's Authority is when it comes

to immigration how do you feel about that well I think it's it follows the

law in many cases here what we got to understand is the president is the chief

executive officer when it comes in especially his number one for mode

opinion is to actually take care of the national security interest that was

where this issue was framed he framed it as a national security interest he

framed it as a need to make sure people are properly vetted coming from places

in the world that do not like us there are people all around the world who hate

us simply because we are free they don't know closely we want to come here

legally the ones who want to come to find fun we need to find places for them

but the president said those of you who want to do us harm we're gonna make sure

we have the proper vetting in place to make this happen and the Supreme Court

upheld that saying this - chief the commander in chief has the national

security responsibilities clearly in his wheelhouse

yes Sotomayor the Supreme Court justice as she found she was a dissenter in this

she said a reasonable observer would conclude that the proclamation was

motivated by anti-muslim animus and she was joined in dissent by Justice Ruth

Bader Ginsburg they did not mince words and their dissent of this ruling well I

think the problem is as I was in law school you actually dealt with words on

paper not emotions and feelings that you saw that maybe came out from somewhere

that they're implying words on paper matter in this town and it shouldn't

matter across the country the ban it was put out you know executive order form it

said what it needed to say and it said it in the proper context of executive

authority I think for them to come back and want to take in the opinions of

others and what they think may or may not have taken it into account is again

judicial bias in many ways to say this is what we

would have preferred but when they come to the law maybe they should go back and

remember what they actually learned or taught in law school but you actually

look at the letter of law well we got the White House reaction to this a short

time ago a simple seven word tweet by President Trump himself Supreme Court

upholds Trump travel ban Wow says the president congressman thank you good to

have you on this morning and get your reaction to this breaking news great to

be with you take care thank you all right Sandra we'll have much more on

what is seen as a major victory a legal victory by the Trump administration in

just a moment as the Supreme Court upholds the travel ban five to four in a

moment law professor Jonathan Turley will be here to give us his take on this

historic ruling

Trump Kicks Off The Weekend With A Pair Of Game-Changing Announcements

It has been a great week for America!

Moreover, with job numbers on the rise and unemployment down, America's economic engine

is all revved up!

Just in time, for the Fourth of July!

Additionally, this week, Pres Trump received a second opportunity to make a SCOUTS (Supreme

Court) nomination that will keep America on auto-pilot through the next generation.

The only thing that needs tweaking are the rising gas prices.

Furthermore, POTUS just let us know – he has it handled!

POTUS tweets earlier this morning, "Just spoke to King Salman of Saudi Arabia and explained

to him that, because of the turmoil & dysfunction in Iran and Venezuela, I am asking that Saudi

Arabia increase oil production.

Maybe up to 2,000,000 barrels, to make up the difference…Prices too high!

He has agreed!"

Pres Trump took care of our increasing gasoline prices.

And simultaneously, he let the United Nations Human Right's Council know that America

will NOT stand for human right's abuses!

In addition, DJT strengthened the Saudi Oil connection with the United States.

It is a win-win solution

Also, in his next tweet, POTUS informs American's, "I will be making my choice for Justice

of the United States Supreme Court on the first Monday after the July 4th Holiday, July

9th!"

The nomination to replace retiring Justice Kennedy comes at an extraordinary time in

American history.

Although, two Justices have been selected in past Presidency's, President Trump has

the opportunity to make several more if he wins the 2020 Presidential campaign.

Moreover, appointing conservative Justice's to the Supreme Court of The United States

of America (SCOTUS) can affect America, the protection of the Constitution and her liberties

for more than two generations!

In closing, will you be celebrating the Fourth of July this year, with more joy and patriotism

for America?

An Unexpected Poll Proves That Trump Has Re Election In The Bag - Duration: 11:21.

An Unexpected Poll Proves That Trump Has Re-Election In The Bag

Taking down President Trump is the Democrats one and only current goal.

Everything they do for the foreseeable future is a part of getting that done.

But an unexpected poll shows that all their work is useless, and proves that Trump has

re-election in the bag.

Presidential approval ratings are oftentimes a great way to gauge how well the country

is doing.

For Donald Trump, the odds seem to be stacked against him when being polled for approval.

No matter how well the country is doing, it oftentimes comes down to how it is being reported.

So in his first year in office, his approval rating was rather low, as none of his accomplishments

had time to make a major impact on the economy.

But going into his second year, polling has swiftly moved towards his side.

That likely had to do with the historic tax cuts passed last year going into effect.

Working-class people began to see larger paychecks, as the government was not taking as much of

their income for taxes.

When working-class people see more money in their paycheck, it becomes an impossible task

for the media to spin that in a bad way for most people.

Now as the year has gone further on, Trump has proven himself more and more competent,

most recently with his dealings with North Korea.

Even with North Korea seemingly beginning to back off from dealings with the United

States, Trump had already made his negotiations worthwhile.

He was able to get three U.S. citizens freed from North Korean prison camps, and they were

flown back to the United States.

The American people saw just how competent he was when those three prisoners arrived

at 2 am to be graciously greeted by the President.

Likely because of that, his polling numbers have gone up, with Trump getting to a 50%

approval rating as of polling on Friday.

That was his highest rating of the week, and a much higher number than he had a year ago.

As reported by Newsmax:

"PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP'S APPROVAL RATING STOOD AT 50 PERCENT ON FRIDAY, WHILE 40 PERCENT

DISAPPROVED OF HIS JOB PERFORMANCE, ACCORDING TO THE RASMUSSEN REPORTS DAILY PRESIDENTIAL

TRACKING POLL.

THE 50 PERCENT APPROVAL MARK WAS HIS HIGHEST RATING OF THE WEEK, ACCORDING TO RASMUSSEN.

HIS LOWEST RATINGS CAME ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY WHEN HE RECORDED A 47 PERCENT APPROVAL RATING

ON BOTH DAYS.

FIFTY-TWO PERCENT DISAPPROVED OF HIS JOB PERFORMANCE ON THOSE DAYS.

FRIDAY'S NUMBERS WERE THE BEST SINCE MAY 4 WHEN TRUMP RECORDED A 51-49 PERCENT RATING.

THE SURVEYED QUESTIONED 1,500 PEOPLE AND HAS A MARGIN OF ERROR OF PLUS OR MINUS 2.5 PERCENTAGE

POINTS."

President Trump is following through on his promise to "make America great again."

He is reversing the failed policies of former President Obama and replacing them with his

own legacy of prosperity.

The unemployment rate is at the lowest point since 2000, and diplomatic relations worldwide

are better than ever.

Paul Ryan Just Looked Trump Square In The Eye And Betrayed Him - Duration: 12:25.

Paul Ryan Just Looked Trump Square In The Eye And Betrayed Him

House Speaker Paul Ryan recently revealed that he will not seek re-election.

So during his past few months in office, he doesn't have to worry about what voters

think of him.

And with that new freedom, Paul Ryan just looked Trump square in the eye and betrayed

him.

Speaker Ryan offered President Trump a plan on immigration that would let House legislators

vote for amnesty, and then vote against a bill containing Trump's three big immigration

reforms.

His plan uses another GOP amnesty plan around 20 representatives are pushing as leverage

to persuade Trump to remove the DACA amnesty portion of the current immigration bill, and

place it in a separate bill.

This would allow a large number of Representatives who are weak on illegal immigration to vote

for amnesty, and also vote against Trump's immigration plan, which includes funding for

a border wall.

As reported by Breitbart:

"HOUSE SPEAKER PAUL RYAN OFFERED PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP A PLAN THAT WOULD LET HOUSE LEGISLATORS

VOTE FOR AN AMNESTY — AND THEN VOTE AGAINST A BILL CONTAINING TRUMP'S BIG THREE IMMIGRATION

REFORMS, SOURCES TELL BREITBART NEWS.

THE RETIRING SPEAKER OFFERED THE DEBATE PLAN ON TUESDAY TO COUNTER THE GROUP OF 20-PLUS

PRO-MIGRATION GOP REPRESENTATIVES WHO ARE PUSHING FOR AN AMNESTY VIA A DISCHARGE PETITION.

THE DISCHARGE PETITION WOULD SCHEDULE A "QUEEN OF THE HILL" DEBATE AROUND FOUR BILLS WHICH

WOULD ENSURE PASSAGE OF AN AMNESTY BILL FOR AT LEAST 2 MILLION 'DACA' ILLEGALS.

RYAN ALSO WANTS AN AMNESTY, AND HIS PLAN, SOURCES SAID WEDNESDAY, LEVERAGES THE DISCHARGE-PETITION

PUSH TO PERSUADE TRUMP TO ALLOW HIS FOUR-PART PACKAGE OF IMMIGRATION REFORMS TO BE SPLIT

INTO A PROPOSED AMNESTY BILL AND A THREE-PART REFORM BILL.

THAT RYAN TWO-BILL SPLIT WOULD ALLOW ROUGHLY 40 BUSINESS-FIRST GOP LEGISLATORS TO VOTE

FOR AN AMNESTY AND ALLOW THEM TO BLOCK TRUMP'S REFORMS ON BORDER SECURITY, CHAIN-MIGRATION,

AND THE VISA-LOTTERY.

ONE SOURCE SAID THE AMNESTY BILL WOULD BE AN ADD-ON AMENDMENT TO THE REFORM BILL — AND

NEITHER MEASURE WOULD PASS UNLESS BOTH WON A MAJORITY.

THE TWO-BILL PLAN EMERGED FROM LEADERSHIP EFFORTS TO MANAGE THE DISCHARGE PETITION,

BUT IT LEAVES MAJORITY LEADER KEVIN MCCARTHY IN A DIFFICULT POSITION.

MCCARTHY INITIALLY ACCEPTED RYAN'S TWO-BILL PLAN, WHICH AIDS THE GOP'S PRO-MIGRATION

MEMBERS, INCLUDING HIS FELLOW CALIFORNIAN, REP.

JEFF DENHAM.

BUT THE LEADERS HAVE NOW RECOGNIZED THAT RYAN'S TWO-BILL PLAN CREATES MANY NEW PROBLEMS.

IT ALARMS THE GROWING CONSERVATIVE SIDE OF THE CAUCUS, IT ALIENATES THE GOP'S 2018

VOTERS, AND IT THREATENS MCCARTHY'S PLANS TO QUIETLY SLIP INTO THE HOUSE SPEAKER'S

JOB AFTER RYAN'S SCHEDULED DEPARTURE IN JANUARY, A SOURCE SAID.

IT ALSO TORPEDOES TRUMP'S REFORM STRATEGY BY SPLITTING THE BUSINESS-BACKED AMNESTY FROM

THE VOTER-BACKED REFORMS."

If Speaker Ryan's plan were to succeed, it would create a ton of problems for Republicans.

The biggest issue it would cause is alienation of Republican voters.

With the midterm elections just months away, a Republican push to grant amnesty to at least

two million DACA illegals could turn off a ton of pro-Trump voters.

If Republicans don't do well in the upcoming midterms and Democrats are able to take control

of Congress, it could end in the impeachment of President Trump.

Do you think Republicans should grant amnesty to DACA illegals?

TRUMP BLINDSIDES DEMOCRATS WITH $2 BILLION MOVE - Duration: 13:48.

TRUMP BLINDSIDES DEMOCRATS WITH $2 BILLION MOVE

Before he took office, Donald Trump promised that as president, he would do whatever it

took to make this country great again.

In his first 18 months in office, he has followed through with this promise time and time again,

much to the dismay of Democrats!

Right Wing News reported that Trump just blindsided Democrats by negotiating with Australia's

richest person to invest $2 Billion in the U.S. and creating 5,000 high-paying jobs.

In announcing his investment, Anthony Pratt credited Trump's business-friendly Tax Cuts

and Jobs Act of 2017.

"It's going to lead to a tsunami of investment in the United States," he said.

"We make corrugated boxes, everything that's manufactured goes in a box.

So we think we're a barometer of the economy."

Pratt, who is the executive chairman of Visy Industries and Pratt Industries in America,

has already built 70 factories in the U.S. and created more than 8,000 high-paying manufacturing

jobs since venturing into the American market 25 years ago.

"I'm here in the Midwest today celebrating the fact that beef and dairy exports are up

16%," Pratt added.

This comes after Trump hit back at Congresswoman Maxine Waters after she incited violence against

his supporters.

"For these members of his Cabinet who remain and try to defend him, they are not going

to be able to go to a restaurant, they are not going to be able to stop at a gas station,

they are not going to be able to shop in a department store," Waters said, according

to Mediaite.

"The people are going to turn on them, they are gonna protest, they are gonna absolutely

harass them."

Trump was not having any of this, however.

"Congresswoman Maxine Waters, an extraordinarily low IQ person, has become, together with Nancy

Pelosi, the Face of the Democrat Party.

She has just called for harm to supporters, of which there are many, of the Make America

Great Again movement.

Be careful what

you

wish

for Max!" Trump tweeted.

'NeverTrump' Movement Suffers Defeat After Trump Sets A Sky-High Record - Duration: 3:13.

'NeverTrump' Movement Suffers Defeat After Trump Sets A Sky-High Record

Remember Never Trumpers?

During the 2016 Presidential election, a tribe within the conservative movement was strongly

opposed to the nomination of Donald Trump.

Even as it became more and more clear that Trump was going to win the nomination, so-called

conservatives tried to undermine him.

They were incapable of believing Trump meant what he said about putting Americans first.

Either that, or these "Never Trumpers" didn't want a president who put America

first, much like their buddies on the left.

Still today, there is a contingent of "conservatives" who stand against Trump, and it doesn't

make any sense.

Amazing things are happening here and around the world.

What kind of idiot conservative would oppose that?

Well, as it turns out, very few still hate on Trump… in fact, that vast majority of

Republicans are in love with our POTUS.

From Breitbart:

"The latest polling shows President Trump enjoying record support from Republicans,

proving once again just how little influence and moral authority Never Trump has.

A recent Gallup poll shows that 90 percent of Republicans support the president.

According to the New York Times (a far-left outlet that regularly spreads fake news),

other than the historic outlier of George W. Bush in the aftermath of the September

11 terrorist attacks, no Republican president in this poll's history has garnered 90 percent

support from Republican voters at this point in a first term.

Trump's historic level of support from within his own Party is not only a tribute to the

president's verifiable successes at home and abroad (tax cuts, booming economy, regulation

reform, gutting Obamacare, North Korea under control, the Islamic State all but vanquished,

no stupid neocon wars)…

…it is also a testament to just how marginalized, tribal, and extreme the failed Never Trump

movement has become."

This is big news.

Even Reagan, one of our greatest presidents, didn't enjoy these kinds of numbers.

It makes sense, though.

Republicans are pleased that Trump is making good on his promises.

As the fake news media pushes one pathetic attack after another, Americans are seeing

a president who refuses to back down.

His achievements in the first two years of his term have been historic:

He scored a massive tax cut.

He slashed job-killing regulation.

He de-fanged Obamacare.

Companies are investing in America.

The wall is going up (hopefully).

Then there's the world-shattering progress with North Korea, which should earn Trump

the Nobel Peace Prize.

What could conservatives be upset about?

Overall, every American is benefitting from more money in their paychecks, increased opportunity,

and greater national security.

Perhaps the few "Never Trumpers" that still remain should just give up.

What do you think about this?

Hannity with Judge Jeanine:The Left Targets Trump Admin Officials - Duration: 15:22.

welcome back to this special edition of Hannity the Trump effect as president

Trump's agenda succeeds the left is literally unraveling and now many are

harassing Trump allies all over the country the left claims to have a

monopoly of compassion for women but take a look at how they treat women in

positions of power within the Trump administration I was asked to leave a

restaurant this weekend where I attempted to have dinner with my family

my husband and I politely left and went home I was asked to leave because I work

for president Trump we are allowed to Grist disagree but we should be able to

do so freely and without fear of harm and this goes for all people regardless

of politics three huge guys came up and started probably an inch from my face

screaming at me every word in the book cursing as loud as they could so then a

trooper my trooper came up and my boyfriend and I got our tickets were

headed in and then they ran in and circled me where I could not get into

the theater they stopped me

and on Tuesday a group of protesters in Georgetown harassed Senate Majority

Leader Mitch McConnell and his wife Elaine Chao who serves as president

Trump's Secretary of Transportation following these outrageous displays many

on both sides of the aisle have called for civility but when Hillary Clinton

was asked about these calls she responded quote Oh give me a break but

the less rhetoric is not only targeted on Republicans in leadership positions

take a look at calls from the left to get rid of ice I think there's no

question that we've got to critically re-examine ice and its role and the way

that it is being administered and the work it is doing and we need to probably

think about starting from scratch I think we need to abolish ice that seems

really clear they have strayed so far from the interests of the American

people and the interests of humanity we need to we need to abolish it

eliminating ice for instance and president drum ice isn't doing what it

was created to do it's being used as his own personal police force and in those

actions it's actually making us less safe I don't think ice today is working

as intended you think you should get rid of the agency I believe that it has

become a deportation force and I think you should separate the criminal justice

from the immigration issues and I think you should reimagine ice joining me now

with reaction Mike Huckabee Fox News contributor good evening governor now I

can't imagine as a father what it's like watching your daughters stand at that

podium and talk about her being harassed out of a restaurant because she works

for our president and and you know a man who was both a friend of yours and

obviously someone that she admires a great deal give us your reaction well

it's very frustrating to see the the owner of a restaurant not only

bullied my daughter and threw her out of the restaurant but showed a level of

bigotry and if you're gonna be that bigoted and put a sign on your

restaurant that says no shirt no shoes no Republicans no service I mean at

least be honest about it and say to people we don't want your business we

don't want the likes of you at our lunch counter you can't even sit on the back

of the bus but that's pretty sad in our country I think Sarah handled it with a

lot of dignity and class probably more than her old man would have done well

and then you know she of course is someone that all of us have a great deal

of respect for and she called herself as has done the president for civility and

then good old Hillary who I thought was still in the woods comes out again and

says you know you know forget about that give me a break

what's your take on Hillary Clinton's basic rejection of civility as the way

to approach this problem well not a surprise coming from the person who

called the Trump voters a basket of deplorable --zz it's clear she has not

gotten over the loss but here's what's even clearer this November

Americans will make a very significant decision as to whether they want to

elect the Democrats who want to get rid of ice and open the borders and treat

people who come here illegally with great level of open arms regardless of

their criminal background and even let them vote for heaven's sake yeah do we

want a party that lets illegal aliens get treated better than we do citizens

simply going out to eat are going to a movie sting and that's the America that

people will choose do you want the the civil one where you get to go to a

restaurant or the one where you don't unless you're an illegal and then of

course come on in and we want to rest you because we're getting rid of the

police force the very people who try to keep these folks out you know I must

tell you governor when I first heard the woman who's running for governor or was

sex in the city Cynthia Nixon when she says we should get rid of Isis I'm like

Ann just goes to show you someone who's never been in government before but then

they all started taking on this mantra I had to stop and say to myself

what is happening in the United States of America well it's obvious that this

is a script all the Democrats are required to read it I think they have to

memorize it it's like lines in a play and they're all supposed to audition for

it but it's getting really ridiculous when

this is their message to the American voter let's get rid of any scrutiny of

people who break into this country without any form of identification who

do not come through the legal process the judge we are a nation of immigrants

we love and welcome immigrants to this nation all of us have come here from

somewhere but my gosh we did have to do it legally and what these folks are

saying is no borders none whatsoever I can't go to any country in the world

and just walk right in why should somebody be able to come in to America

like that I have no idea well it is it is a turning point in this

country and as you say the 2018 elections are so incredibly important

anyway Governor Mike Huckabee so good to have you on this evening thanks always a

pleasure judge all right and still to come on this special edition of Hannity

Democrats in the media are completely losing it over Justice Anthony Kennedy

retirement from the United States Supreme Court and by the way don't

forget to buy a copy of my book on Amazon or Barnes & Noble Liars leakers

and liberals the case against the anti-trump conspiracy more Hannity after

the move

welcome back to this special edition of Hannity Justice Kennedy announced his

retirement from the Supreme Court this week throwing the left and the

mainstream media into utter hysteria take a look at this regardless of what

happens in his presidency now Donald Trump will leave a mark on this country

for decades to come yeah it's like it's not gonna go away

it's like he's giving America judicial herpes if you are LGBTQ if you are a

person of color if you are a woman so basically if you are not a straight

white male in America right now you are probably freaking out we're looking at a

destruction of the Constitution of the United States we're not screwed we're

actually screwed for generations clean air and water that you use and breathe

is at stake we are looking down the tunnel of potentially criminal liability

for women who are seeking to make decisions about their own bodies it's

time for Democrats to throw down and what I mean by that is that we've been

playing by the rulebook and Donald Trump and Republicans have been playing by

street rules we need to play by street rules don't allow a vote on this don't

have a hearing don't have a meeting don't let anything go forward don't play

ball with this decision Fox News is reporting that President Trump is set to

interview candidates this weekend and will announce a final decision on Monday

July 9 the president sat down with Fox businesses Maria Bartiromo to discuss

some major questions he might have for his potential nominees her interview is

going to air Sunday at 10:00 a.m. here's the preview are you going to ask your

nominees beforehand how they might vote on Roe vs. Wade well that's a big one

and probably not they're all saying don't do that you don't do that you

shouldn't do that but I'm putting conservative people on and I'm very

proud of Neal Gorsuch he has been outstanding his opinions are you know is

so well written so brilliant and I'm gonna try and do something like that but

I don't think I'm going to be so specific joining me now with reaction

former Obama economic adviser Austan Goolsbee and foxnews contributors

- Roy Murdoch and Robert Jeffress alright I got to start with you pastor

Jeffress right now the right of course is looking for the President to appoint

someone who is pro-life the president has indicated in the preview that he's

not going to ask that direct question what do you think the president is going

to ask as it relates to whether or not a person is pro-life well the president is

exactly right not to ask a specific question about roe v wade and judge he

doesn't need to and here's why it's the philosophy of this justice that really

counts you know for the last 50 years the only way liberals have been able to

enact their agenda is through the judiciary by having justices who create

imaginary rights for some Americans while at the same time erasing the real

rights of other Americans there is no right to abortion that's nowhere in the

Constitution but there is a right to life that there's been a race for 50

million children butchered in the womb since 1973 roe v wade and if the

President and I know he will will appoint a conservative justice with a

conservative philosophy roe v wade and all of these other atrocities from the

judiciary will take care of themselves Austan Goolsbee all right so I assume

you're gonna have the opposite opinion but isn't the president almost required

to suggest someone who is an originalist who is a constitutionalist I mean I

think we can all agree the justices are not supposed to write the law they're

supposed to interpret precedent yeah look I can see why the Democrats that

that you showed on the Calipari's agitated as they are Justice Kennedy is

really quite a centrist

oats that the president is required to suggest or nominate someone who's gonna

be like Kennedy or he can nominate anyone he wants cuz I mean anybody he

could nominate a very left-wing judge if he wanted a very right-wing judge a

centrist I assume he's gonna pick somebody off that list that he

publicized 21 originally 21 it's up to 25 judges which basically have been

vetted by the Heritage Foundation the Federal Society

he's been very public he's been very open and transparent these most these

names were out there before he was elected so people knew what they're

gonna get when they voted for him and whether you like or dislike these people

he's been very transparent about putting these names forward and people have had

but basically a year and a half to look into them and their backgrounds their

judicial judicial outlooks and so forth all right and I'll ask you this pastor

Jeffress because and then I want to go back to Austin again look that the truth

is that you know these justices I mean judges who were up for it to be a

justice I mean if they if they have too many decisions that are controversial I

mean that's going to cause a whole you know uprising but if they don't have a

lot of controversial decisions then on the other hand they're gonna be

conservatives who are going to say well maybe they're not conservative enough

and in the end what we got is Murkowski and collins who are votes that we need

who were the Republican senators who are Bundren pro-choice so how does the

president balance that to get the 50 Republicans that he needs because pence

will be the if there's a tie the the 50 you know judge night not long ago the

president asked me why I thought he had a 75% of provoked rating with

evangelicals and I said it's very simple you are delivering on your promise to

put conservatives on all of the courts judge the president knows this this is

what he ran on and I'll have to tell you if we were dealing with a President Bush

either one of them or heaven forbid a president Romney I would be nervous

tonight that that president would waffle and give in to the Democrats and liberal

Republicans but this president has the guts to deliver on his promise and I

believe he's going to do it well clearly he does I don't think there's anyone at

this point it would say that President Trump doesn't have guts

mean but but let me go to Austin now you know that there are Democratic senators

Heidi Heitkamp as well as Manchin okay they are in red states they are

Democrats what happens to them if they vote for a conservative nominee in a

state that is overwhelmingly read what happens among their voters or what

happens do they get elected you know I don't know that they are you're quite

right they're in tough races you know it I would be remiss not to remind everyone

that that the Democrats were in office and they had the longest filibuster and

held up the proposed justice Merrick garland so you can see why the Democrats

are feeling like this was a power play that was not justified I think the

Democrats in red states that are in tough races it's going to matter a lot

to them who gets nominated as a candidate like someone reasonable or

does it seem like someone extreme it's going to be conservative and they're not

going to be happy if they're not happy people going to the restaurants you can

be sure they're not gonna be happy with the president's nominee thank you

gentlemen and coming up Daniel Hoffman and

Sebastian Gorka on president Trump's upcoming summit with Russian President

Vladimir Putin

Maxine Is Sick Of Trump Ignoring Her And Blast Big Demand She Wants From Him Now - Duration: 4:28.

Maxine Is Sick Of Trump Ignoring Her And Blast Big Demand She Wants From Him Now

Politicians on the left have become deranged over the last year and a half that the president

has taken over the office.

Especially more recently.

In particular, Congressional Black Caucus member and Member of Congress Maxine Waters

has been making some rather crude, derogatory, and downright dangerous comments that have

incited violence.

She has received criticism both overt and passive-aggressive from both the left and

the right, even leadership within her own party.

However, that has not stopped her from making demands and progressively getting worse.

Which is why this latest story will not shock you what so ever.

Fox News reported:

"Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., called on President Trump to "please resign" at

the TIME 100 Gala on Tuesday night, so that she "won't have to keep up this fight

of your having to be impeached."

Waters was prompted by a questioner who asked her if she had some advice for Trump.

"I don't think you deserve to be there," Waters said, referring to the president.

"Just get out."

The annual event in New York assembles celebrities and prominent figures to celebrate the world's

100 most influential people according to TIME.

In the 2018 TIME 100, Waters was named as one such influencer.

Actor Yara Shahidi praised Waters as "so eloquent in letting the world, particularly

the white men of Congress who dare test her acumen, know that she is not here for any

nonsense."

Tuesday night's comments were relatively tame for Waters, who has previously called

Trump the "most horrible man I've ever seen in my life."

Last month, Trump said Waters suffers from a 'very low IQ' and called on her to take

an IQ test.

Waters responded that either the Russia investigation, or the allegations of porn star Stormy Daniels,

will ultimately bring Trump down.

"I'm not going to be intimidated by him," Waters said.

While TIME Magazine reported the following during the TIME 100 event,

"Asked if she had any advice for Trump, Waters, who represents California's 43rd

District, issued a request.

"Please resign," said Waters, who was named one of the most influential people of

the year in the 2018 TIME 100.

"So that I won't have to keep up this fight of your having impeached because I don't

think you deserve to be there.

Just get out."

Waters is one of the most vocal politicians calling for Trump to be removed from office,

and has suggested impeaching the president multiple times since his inauguration.

In the 2018 TIME 100, actor Yara Shahidi commended Waters for saying "what many of us are thinking,"

from her declaration of "reclaiming my time" to her dedication to taking Trump out of the

office of the presidency.

"She is adored and admired by people who care about social justice and is oh so eloquent

in letting the world, particularly the white men of Congress who dare test her acumen,

know that she is not here for any nonsense," Shahidi said."

However, it is not just President Trump that she has spoken out against.

She has been a vocal critic over the last 30 years of former President George H.W. Bush,

George W. Bush, as well as President Trump.

She referred to President George H.W. Bush as a racist who polarized Americans and perverted

American culture.

Prior to his death, she had a strong relationship with Fidel Castro and argued that he has worked

to bring his country of Cuba to a democratic place which the United States, she allegedly

purported, has not done.

Waters has even gone as far in the past as to oppose President Obama, the first African

American President, whom she argued did nothing to uplift black Americans and whose administration

oversaw a drastic decrease in African American unemployment.

Over the years she has been closely aligned with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

Waters actions speak for themselves.

She has done a large amount of nothing in her over 20 years of service to the House

of Representatives while taking attention away from real issues by sucking up news time

with her hysterical antics.

Instead of focusing on issues that affect real Americans coming to solutions for them,

she has incited violence, perpetuated hateful rhetoric, and made this country and her district

a less safe place.

Nobody in the United States should fear for there life because of their political beliefs

yet she has encouraged people to harass Trump administration staffers.

There is nothing American or civilized about it.

Protesting is patriotic, harassing is not.

This is what the radical left has devolved into.

Trump Destroyed Bill And Hillary Clinton With One Tweet - Duration: 11:14.

Trump Destroyed Bill And Hillary Clinton With One Tweet

Hillary Clinton crawled back into the spotlight once again to lob attacks at Donald Trump.

She lost her mind over his speech at the U.N. General Assembly where he tagged Kim Jong

Un with the nickname "Rocket Man."

But Trump fired back and destroyed both Bill and Hillary Clinton with one tweet.

During Trump's speech, he declared Kim Jon Un – whom he labeled as "Rocket Man"

– was on a suicide mission by continuing to develop nuclear weapons.

Trump said the United States would destroy North Korea if they threatened America or

her allies.

Trump's "Rocket Man" nickname for the North Korean tyrant was a big hit and other

world leaders quickly adopted it.

But not everyone was pleased.

Hillary Clinton appeared at one of her safe spaces – Stephen Colbert's late night

comedy show – and attacked the speech as "dark" and "dangerous". Trump immediately

fired back.

He pointed out he was only in this dangerous situation because of the Clintons.

Trump correctly noted that in 1994, then-President Bill Clinton made a deal with the North Koreans

where they obtained fuel and nuclear power plants in exchange for freezing their weapons

program.

The deal failed and North Korea gained the wherewithal to develop nuclear missiles.

Hillary Clinton – as Secretary of State – presided over Barack Obama's policy

of "strategic patience."

This amounted to doing nothing and hoping someone else would clean up the mess.

Now that Trump is taking steps to correct the Clintons errors, they are heckling him

from the peanut gallery.

Report: TRUMP SAYS HE PLANS TO ANNOUNCE - Duration: 11:49.

so as you've just seen the president is coming off a very busy week with the

battle over immigration reaching a boiling point

amid news of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy retiring also the

president's setting a date for his summit with Russian President Vladimir

Putin for more on all of this let's bring in Jeff Mason White House

correspondent for Reuters Jeff you've heard the calls from some Democrats

Kirsten Gillibrand senator from New York among them to get rid of ice is that

actually going to become a democratic plank well I think it's hard to say that

they're hard to imagine that that will become a democratic plank although the

fact that somebody like senator Gillibrand is talking about it and

others means that it's it's a way anyway for them to express their

dissatisfaction with what ice is doing via by implementing the president's

immigration policy so but as as the president has also said it gives it

gives sort of an easy way for him to illustrate or to suggest that Democrats

are against enforcement when they criticize ice directly like that it's

likely I think just to continue to be sort of an example of the divide between

the two parties on this very sensitive issue a couple of decades ago it was the

inss Immigration and Naturalization Service now it's ice Immigration and

Customs Enforcement are they looking for a name change or are they looking for

you know an actual abolition of the agency that sort of keeps track of who's

coming in well what senator Gillibrand has said is that she thinks that maybe

it's necessary just to start over I think that would be more than just a

name change but again I think largely it's using ice as a vehicle for

criticizing the administration's policy and what ice is doing at the border

based on the orders from the top but the president has said all along that he is

simply enforcing laws that are already on the books laws that the nation has

had for a long time and and laws that in his view have been largely ignored he

has said that and he also obviously during the campaign in 2016 and since

his time in office has been a very strong advocate for

were tough immigration laws and so the fact that he implemented those laws when

coming into office is not a big surprise that said it sparked this crisis of

children being separated from their parents at the border and that has been

really tough for both Democrats and Republicans to see and it's been tough

on this White House politically President Trump spoke with Maria

Bartiromo an interview that will be seen tomorrow morning I want to play what the

president had to say to you to her I should say about this ice controversy

here it is a 28 year old socialist that just beat out Joe Crowley

he says abolish icing and get this more Democrats are getting in line with that

Kirsten Gillibrand today saying we need to abolish ice I hope they keep thinking

about it because they're going to get beaten so badly you know ice these are

the guys that go in and take ms-13 and they take them out because they're much

tougher than ms-13 like by a factor of 10 and these are the ones you get rid of

ice you're gonna have a country that you're gonna be afraid to walk out of

your house I love that issue of they're gonna

actually do that so the president thinks Jeff that he wins on this issue if

Democrats continue to call for the abolition of ice and any thoughts on

that well he certainly wins with his base and

that's what he did in 2016 I mean one of the main promises that President Trump

made as a presidential candidate was to build a wall on the border between the

United States and Mexico and to really get tough on immigration so if he sees

Democrats very specifically saying get rid of an agency that is charged with

enforcing the laws sure he's going to use that as a way of demonstrating that

he is tougher much tougher on immigration than they and painting them

painting Democrats as a is a party that's not interested in being tough on

immigration I think it's important to note that not all Democrats are calling

for that but it is a talking point for some and and it's one that clearly the

president based on what he said in that interview would relish looks like it

will be a political issue coming up in November I know that you are with the

President on Air Force One yesterday as he was flying up to New Jersey and and

he fair amount of news on the Supreme Court

he is about to get his second chance to choose a Supreme Court justice yes he

did and we we asked some several questions during about a 15 16 minute

chat with him on the back of the plane and I asked him when he planned to make

that announcement and he said as he has since tweeted as well that he plans to

do that on June 9th excuse me July 9th the the first Monday

after the July 4th holiday we also asked him if there were a couple women on his

short list or if there were women on his short list and he said yes there were

two that he narrowed the list of 25 down to about five or so although he said he

might speak with or interview seven candidates and he suggested he might

start some of that interviewing this weekend although we haven't heard that

that has actually started a lot of people are asking what this choice means

for roe v wade the decision of the Supreme Court decision the legalized

abortion in this country Maria Bartiromo asked the president about that again

this interview runs tomorrow morning 10:00 a.m. here it is are you going to

ask your nominees beforehand how they might vote on Roe vs. Wade well that's a

big one and probably not they're all saying don't do that you don't do that

you shouldn't do that but I'm putting conservative people on and I'm very

proud of Neal Gorsuch he has been outstanding his opinions are you know is

so well written so brilliant and I'm gonna try and do something like that but

I don't think I'm going to be so specific so obviously the president

likes Neal Gorsuch but Neal Gorsuch in his confirmation hearing said roe v wade

is settled law what do you take from that answer well he also spoke about

that on the plane on Friday night and basically said that that's not it's

inappropriate to ask a specific question like that but he answered similarly to

the way that he did to Maria in saying that his slate of potential candidates

are all conservative so I think that's sort of a message to conservative voters

out there who oppose Roe versus Wade that he will be choosing someone who is

in line with them in terms of their values and in terms of

what you know what they would like to see happen on the court we also asked

him sort of in a similar vein in terms of big social issues whether he would

speak to his potential candidates about gay rights because he talked about

Justice Kennedy wanting to keep up Justice Kennedy's legacy and won a piece

of that legacy happens to be game gay marriage but the president also said it

would be inappropriate to talk to his candidates about that issue Jeff Mason

from Reuters Jeff thanks for spending some time with us tonight

my pleasure as you can imagine the president had plenty more to say in his

wide-ranging interview with Maria Bartiromo be sure to tune in tomorrow

the local newspaper the latest from Annapolis Maryland ahead plus protests

across the nation today against President Trump's immigration policies

what Democrats have to say this is a moment in time that is requiring us

collectively to look in a mirror and ask a question

that question being who aren't we we're better than this we are better than this

this just in new developments in the investigation into possible abuse of

government surveillance powers during the 2016 election the Justice Department

telling Fox News it will give both the House and Senate intelligence committees

access to documents linked to the FBI's use of an informant to look into

possible links between Russia and the Trump campaign House Intelligence

Committee Chairman Devin Nunez has been pushing for all committee members to

have access to the information not just the so-called gang of eight those eight

consist of the top Republican and Democrat in the House and Senate as well

as both intelligence committees a community coming together following a

deadly shooting hundreds turning out for a vigil in Annapolis Maryland honoring

the five victims killed in a shooting at the Capitol Gazette newspaper on

Thursday Grif Jenkins has the latest from Annapolis John it's been more than

48 hours since the tragic attack happened here at the Capitol Gazette and

one thing is very clear this community is resilient and they are strong and

that was evident last night as hundreds turned out at vigils across town and as

they came together to remember the five lives lost the daughter of one of the

journalists Wendy winters paid tribute to a loving mother who cared deeply

about the people she covered I want people to keep telling the stories that

she cared about my mom cared about teens and

homes and off-limits places she cared about telling community stories she

wanted things to be in the news that weren't just crime and doom and gloom

ended nearby Baltimore a moment of silence at the Orioles game the team

tweeting a picture of Friday's paper and the five white roses in the press booth

at Camden Yards tributes even spread to New England where Patriots coach in

Annapolis native Bill Belichick issued this statement for my entire life the

capital has been my hometown newspaper my family and I have enjoyed special

relationships with the many great people who have worked for the newspaper my

heart goes out to the victims their families in the entire Annapolis

community for this terrible in senseless tragedy

meanwhile the gunman Jared Ramos making his first court appearance by

videoconference wearing a green jumpsuit eerily emotionless being denied bail as

the state's attorney detailed Ramos is barricading a rear exit preventing

anyone from escaping the carnage Ramos his next court appearance will likely be

before a grand jury or a pre-trial hearing in Circuit Court meanwhile more

members of this community turn out to these memorials like the one behind me

John Griff Jenkins in Annapolis thank you

well Ted Cruz going against his own party in an upcoming election the Texas

senator upset that Holocaust denier Arthur Jones has won the Republican

nomination for illinois's third congressional district urging voters to

reject him Cruz tweets this is horrific and about Nazi running for Congress to

the good people of Illinois you have two reasonable choices right in another

candidate or vote for the Democrat this bigoted fool should receive zero votes

Jones will face Democratic incumbent dan Lipinski in November well it's being

called one of the most consequential moments of the Trump presidency the

process of choosing a replacement for Justice Anthony Kennedy is well underway

we'll look at some of the key factors in the president's decision Plus president

Trump's immigration policies sparking more than seven

► KELLYANNE CONWAY I SENIOR COUNSELOR TO THE PRESIDENT TRUMP-PUTIN SUMMIT - Duration: 13:39.

let's get to it now their headliner killing untimely lives on North Lawn

Senior Council the president joins us now from the White House and Kellyanne

good morning and welcome back it's it's a Friday and you are in you're in the

hot seat here okay so let's get to the Supreme Court first what is the state of

the process if there is not yet a short list of nominees where's the president's

head on this well you saw just last night the president returned from a

two-day trip out meeting with Americans and came here and met with senators from

both parties because it is the Senate's job constitutionally to advise and

consent the president on such matters and the president is taking to account

their advice at the same time it will be a presidential decision this president

owing back to the campaign for two straight years now bill has been very

transparent and therefore accountable with respect to the type of person and

indeed the specific individuals he would consider to put on the nation's highest

court yes as you just mentioned the elevated justice nail Gorsuch he's been

an outstanding jurist in his first term and a half on the Supreme Court but look

also at what the president has done in the u.s. circuit courts there are 21

confirmed judges on the US circuit courts one out of eight US Circuit

judges right now is a trump appointee and so we we already see the way the

president approaches this I think Neil Gorsuch and his confirmation hearings

put it best when it came to some of these hot-button issues like abortion

where he said it's settled precedent and it's not my job is not relevant whether

I like a particular precedent or don't and I know people on the other side who

are really losing and every turn these days politically then practically they

are going to try to make this about one or two issues we know that this that the

Supreme Court covers any number of issues under the Constitution in a given

term just this past week and last week they decided cases on the impropriety of

using unions use compelling people to use them for political purposes

obviously they they ruled in the president's favor and the travel ban

they have released opinions very recently on on internet taxes so the

court is very active breath of issues this president has says

he will choose from that list and he's been very clear in his appointments we

make to the type of jurists that he likes not to do does he make a decision

before the summit with Vladimir Putin into an athlete's he may I don't think

that the timeline has anything to do with a summit this is a president as we

all know is the original and unbelievably peripatetic multitasker he

does many different things at a given day moment and week I think the sheer

volume the velocity of the way he works is mind-numbing to many people I find it

to be a privilege so I don't think that a timeline is going to be according to a

summit so much as the president takes very seriously a Supreme Court vacancy

and knows that we should we should move with some dispatch in filling that

vacancy down as a maybe then based on the timeline for July 6 things was a guy

who moves with alacrity on everything as you know so maybe sooner maybe sooner

maybe sooner I think that person could be confirmed this year why not okay that

being said Kellyanne this upcoming summit with the president and Vladimir

Putin what does president Trump what is he heading into that summit hoping to

accomplish and get done the president has made very clear a couple of things

one is to improve relations with countries and its leaders where we can

where it makes sense for the United States of America and for peace-loving

people everywhere to improve relationships and this president

followed the same model that he that he did with the Singapore summit and mr.

Kim with Russia meaning he sent over one of his top diplomats one of his top

security officials in the case of North Korea secretary Pompeo in the case of

Russia NSC director NASA security adviser Ambassador John Bolton and that

person goes over there and lays the groundwork we got other people working

on logistics and this president has said from the beginning that he is willing to

talk to leaders when it is in the best interest of America if Russia and the

United States of America can work on national security issues together the

president will do that but at the same time this president has had no

reluctance whatsoever to push back when he has felt Susan

there's Russian officials I'd like to know that push your back on the side and

and I just want to say one more thing you had President Obama whispering and a

hot mic that he would have more flexibility after the next election you

have this president as transparent as can be on going away to be president but

to have a summit like this you gotta get some sort of win-win on each side and

what is the win/win for Vladimir Putin what is the win/win for President Trump

is it some sort of deal on Syria is that is that where the ground could move well

the wind winds and having the conversation to begin with but another

win would be the president's vision with respect to Syria this president has

pushed back on Assad twice when he's gassed his own people with the support

of Russia continuing the conversation about a nuclear capable North Korea and

nuclear capable of ran I mean this presidents been so active around the

globe to not involve Russia in some of these conversations and I'm sure because

this is what the media will say to is what are you talking about with respect

to interference and elections everything's on the table you know when

mr. Putin and President Trump met the last time that particular one-on-one

meeting lasted much longer than quote people anticipate on why they were

anticipating a certain timeline and it covered an array of topics and you can

expect that to happen again meanwhile what a hearing that was

yesterday Kellyanne you know Christopher Rea rod rose and signed the heads of the

FBI and the DOJ sat in a hearing room and faced a grilling from Republican

lawmakers with the president able to to witness a few of those exchanges what

were his thoughts when he looked at really the anger and frustration that we

continue to see in this case from House Republicans over lack of documents

getting handed over and lack of quite frankly questions getting answered well

again you see the transparency and accountability of the process that was a

televised a briefing folks are under oath when they're answering those

questions and director Ray and Deputy Attorney General

rod Rosen Stein made clear that they feel they are they are complying with

the request some of the Republicans and others disagree the house obviously

passed a bill yesterday or past a festival and it's evolution yeah

resolution yeah excuse me and and the fact is that people do it is true that

many Americans are tiring with the length of the process here that is

absolutely true if you look at the polls the number of people who are saying that

the investigation is a good idea has it gone on too long is it interfering with

other things fortunately the present United States

does not allow it to interfere with his major duties which is to be the chief

economic steward of our nation's economy it could not be doing any better than it

is we're having this six-month tax cut and Jobs Act anniversary together here

today grazie yeah Benghazi going on for two and a

half years that I know the Republic is it fresh to the comparison no specific

question I know the president was traveling Wisconsin yesterday did he

watch the hearing did he watch any of it Kellyanne well he can access clips any

time he wants and he's aware he's fully briefed on everything of that nature he

certainly knows that he certainly knew that the hearing was taking place he

certainly knows some of the highlights of not the specifics and everybody's

been playing on their choice and they're they're chosen and curated clips from

the last day so I think the president could not be more clear he tweets about

it and puts it on social media off and he talks about it freely often that he

believes this is a witch hunt and that there is no collusion he he goes back to

what we were promised at the very beginning of this which is that this

changed votes and he wasn't duly elected that's all a load of bunk and everybody

knows it he was duly and democratically elected he doesn't let any of it get in

his way of presiding over the strongest economy in generations if not our

lifetimes if not ever and continuing to meet with leaders here in America but

across the globe and at different summits to try to bring more peace and

prosperity wherever you men chief of staff what are the plans there

what is the president actively doing right now as as far as looking for a

replacement I don't understand these stories in that the media sort of like

ants on a sugar cube always go and focus on one thing it seems to come up every

month or two or three months if I went back and I looked at a bunch of

inquiries from February four December and now from June they all say

the same thing I try not to respond to them to allow the pressure op and others

to do that but here you got responses directly from the President and from our

chief of staff John Kelly yesterday that it's all news to them we have no talent

I'm sorry that this is popping out I'm delighted to serve under chief of staff

Kelly and I work with whomever the president asked me to work with here in

the West Wing and across his administration but I know that it's

easier and maybe more fun for folks to to play the Paula game and learning the

intricacies of policy since again stuff goes so quickly here but I guess

eventually everybody's going to leave it eventually everybody who said people are

going to leave will be right just not dominate the coverage I know the

Europeans felt like just just to be specific about it

general Kelly is staying is that what you're saying as far as I know general

Kelly wants to stay and he is staying he hasn't said anything differently to me

and I come here to work every day with the team that the president has asked us

all to work with and we do I find this place to be much more streamlined and

much more sophisticated and running in a very good way a year and a half into the

presidency and we don't run around wondering who's leaving next who's going

to be forced out we get to work every day and there's so much on our plate as

you know that's just not one of them okay you bet well what does the White

House have to say given the shooting in Annapolis just for you well it's a it's

a horrible tragedy what we're trying to I think us being all of America

is pieced together that this person the shooter this murderer had some kind of

grievance against this paper obviously it filed a lawsuit lost that lawsuit and

seems to have been very active on social media very threatening it seems to me

and about this paper and went in yesterday and did what he did the

president expressed his sympathies it continues to be briefed by the FBI and

others and we'll continue to talk about this as the different facts develop but

obviously people who go to work every day innocent Americans should not have

this as an occupational hazard and I think is our press secretary made clear

last night in a on innocent journalists innocent

Americans attack on all of us what's the president's plans next week a

lot of people a fourth of July week and he's gonna be making a trip out to

Montana yes the plan is for him to go to Montana on July 5th and the day before

the president the first lady will host for the second consecutive year the

military families here at a picnic and then later celebrate America's

Independence our 240 second year of our nation's independence out here on the

South Lawn the fireworks display for all to see and we're very excited because

it's a great celebration of our nation's independence and this president has done

a great deal to advance the cause of democracy and freedom everything from

economic freedom to national security and freedom and our ability to be free

and prosperous and should be a great joy yeah you came out to talk about taxes

six-month anniversary today what do you think the impact of the tax plan has

been on America today go ahead and sell it easy votes they're very it's been

very positive any metric that you look at the confidence number is historic

confidence numbers among consumers among small business owners among

manufacturers the job creation the growth numbers all the critics saying is

that you can never even get it above 3% that's fantasy its projected to be well

above 4% and that I think what it's done in addition to giving the millions of

Americans hardworking Americans the bonuses and the raises it has a

stimulated growth and a buoyancy and optimism in our economy that people feel

free to move around in the job market six point seven million available jobs

now it outpaces the number of actual job seekers so that gives people freedom to

think about their next job or the next career move

also the repatriation a word that Americans really should learn more

handily because you're going to hear a lot of it bill and Sondra repatriation

of 300 billion dollars so far that was wealth parked legally overseas that now

these companies can bring back the corporations that were that people said

they're not going to vet they're investing in their workplace or in

record investing in their workforce and and also you see this child care tax

credit people feel like they can make more free decisions I think the number

one the number one byproduct of tax cuts is freedom it's individual freedom and

liberty hey listen thanks for being here today we've covered a lot of ground and

have a great weekend happy July 4th to you and every bear

Trump Issues Gag Order To Stop Government Employees From Talking To Reporters - Duration: 3:43.

The Trump administration has issued a new type of gag order for federal employees working

today in the United States.

Specifically, they want to keep people from the US Geological Survey and the Department

of the Interior from speaking to the press about anything that could be considered any

kind of scientific discussion.

Here's exactly what they're trying to do.

Not that long ago they sent out a new memo to USGS and Interior Department employees

saying they were going to cut back and rein in who is allowed to go out there and speak

to the press and what media outlets they're allowed to speak to.

They do not want these scientists, which there are thousands of them who are at the top of

their field working in these departments, they don't want them to go out there and give

interviews and talk about science and talk about things that affect the daily lives of

American citizens because this administration absolutely hates science.

So they've come up with some new guidelines.

First and foremost, if you want to do an interview, it has to get approved by the higher ups.

According to the reports on this, it looks like it's actually the very, very top, the

director of communications for the Interior Department that has to go through and green

light each individual interview that is requested.

Furthermore, if they approve you giving an interview, then they have to reach out to

the media outlet and ask them a serious of questions in order to determine if it can

go forward from there.

Here are some of the things that they want to know.

They want to know what questions the reporter is going to ask the scientist and include

as much detail as possible: "How is the scientist going to answer the questions?"

Then after they get the questions, they have to go to the scientist, get their answers

to determine if those are good enough to go on TV or in print: "What is the broader thrust

of the story?

Ask the reporter the full scope of a story is.

Are there policy implications?

If the answer is, 'Yes,' provide some background for context.

Is there anything controversial?"

This administration has just taken the Republican war on science to a level that I, honestly,

didn't think we'd ever see.

They're actively trying to prevent scientists from going out there and talking to the public

because the administration is afraid of what these scientists are going to say because

they know, they know that science is directly at odds to what this administration is doing.

All of their talk about immigrants coming in here and not contributing is a lie.

The science says it otherwise.

All their talk about climate change not being real is a lie.

The science says otherwise.

All of their talk about how drilling on our soil and opening up these new places is totally

safe is false because science tells us otherwise.

That is what this administration is afraid of.

If they let these scientists go out, talk to reporters, do these interviews, then god

forbid the public might learn the truth.

If the public finds out this administration is lying about absolutely everything, well,

that's going to make their jobs a hell of a lot harder.

Certainly for people like Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who have to go out there every day and continue

to lie on behalf of this administration, how is she going to react when scientists are

out there already refuting her before she even gets a chance to lie about it?

It's going to make this administration look pretty bad.

So they've decided to take the cowardly way out and just prevent these scientists from

talking to the press altogether.

Maria Bartiromo one-on-one Interview With President Trump 10/22/2017 - Duration: 22:58.

mr. president thanks so much for sitting down with me today thank you here we are

and the week that the Dow Jones Industrial Average just hit twenty three

thousand five and a third trillion dollars of market value created since

your election and largely because of this anticipation and hope that your

policies will get into implemented tell us where we stand on the tax plan right

now we're doing very well we will we had a fantastic vote as you know and with

budget is indirectly passed now it's going to go through a little bit of an

iteration but it's going to end up I think again doing very well and I think

we're going to get our taxes I think it's gonna be well hopefully before the

end of the year but maybe much sooner than that you know there's a great

spirit for it people want to see it and I call it tax cut so it is tax reform

also but I call it tax cuts it'll be the biggest cuts ever in the history of this

country and I think that this tremendous appetite this tremendous spirit Ford not

only by the people we're dealing with in Congress but for the people out there

that want to see something $5,000 almost it can be $5,000 average per individual

per per group and so I'm really looking forward to it let's see what happens it

could be quite historic I know that this weekend is the 31st anniversary of when

President Reagan last instituted tax reform Sunday that's a big deal exactly

do you think you have the votes I think we have the votes I think that Rand Paul

actually is going to vote for the tax cuts I think that other people you know

we had tremendous enthusiasm this time health care I was told was tougher but

it was close I mean so far I would say it's not even a contest and I will tell

you speaking of health care I believe we're going to get that also it'll be in

the form of block grants to the different states and it'll be a

wonderful Health Care it'll be a tremendous health care managed properly

in smaller doses where you can really do it much more individually so I think

we're going to get that also in a little bit later probably in three or four

months from now but I do believe we'll have that long before the election in

eight as far as taxes are concerned you see

what's happening it's really doing well great enthusiasm yeah you showered on

the health care bipartisan plan a bit right from Lamar Alexander and petty

Mari well I've looked at it very very strongly and pretty much we can do

almost what they're getting I think he is a tremendous person I don't know

senator Murray I hear very very good things but I know that Lamar Alexander

is a fine man and he is really in there to do good for the people we can do

pretty much what we have to do without you know the secretary has tremendous

leeway in the under the Obama plans one of the things that they did because it

was so messed up they had no choice but to give the secretary way because they

knew it had to be he or she would have to be changing all the time and we can

pretty much do whatever we have to do just the way it is so this was going to

be temporary prior to repeal and replace we're going to repeal and replace

Obamacare and I think we actually have the votes people are criticizing me for

saying that I think we actually have the votes for that you know we were

basically one short and I think we're gonna have the votes for that also Marie

yeah I would ask you about that because even your supporters say you know he's

got fantastic policies we want to see this through but the bickering and the

feuding actually gets in the way so obviously the feuding with Senator

corker I think there's a personal thing going on between you and Senator McCain

do you worry that this bickering and feuding gets in the way of your agenda

no and sometimes it helps to be honest with you so we'll see what happens at

the end but I think actually sometimes it helps sometimes it gets people to do

what they're supposed to be doing and you know that's the way it is I just

want what's right and I think for the most part they want what's right too so

we'll see what happens but I do believe we have the votes for health care at the

appropriate time and I think that we're going to have the votes for taxes and I

will say the fact that health care is so difficult I think makes the taxes easier

the Republicans want to get it done it's a tremendous tax code I mean

especially for the middle class and especially for business we have you know

we're losing our companies we have companies leaving and I have to say

since I've been elected that's really stopped it's really slowed down there's

a tremendous enthusiasm for business in this country so a lot of things have

changed then you see the job creation as well this year has been so fantastic

they can't get this tax bill done this year should they forego Thanksgiving and

Christmas should they be here if they don't have a bill on your desk by

Thanksgiving well I think they should and I think they will I think a lot of

things are happening I list you know that's gonna be right after that but I

don't even like them leaving but I will say this I want to get it by the end of

the year but I'd be very disappointed if it took that long it could be

substantially less than that depending on what happens when we send the bill

back to the house you know they'll send it back and people are gonna go and you

know make 200 suggestions as opposed to maybe no suggestions because it's a

great bill it's going to be a great bill and we're adjusting we're adjusting so

that there's no way that the middle class doesn't greatly benefit every once

in a while there's a method under which you know it could be that some people in

the middle class won't benefit as much as we want them to benefit and we're

making certain adjustments but I think we're gonna have it sooner rather than

later this week and said you are insisting that they have a fourth

bracket it's on your insistence that they have a fourth bracket I know that

you're very focused on the middle class but do you want to raise taxes on the

rich for the fourth bracket well he really said that on the basis that I

wanted it or was thinking about it because I want to make sure that middle

class gets taken care of so in that way yes but actually we do have four

brackets because we have a zero bracket and people aren't including that so that

would actually make it a fifth bracket as opposed to an eighth bracket on the

other on the other side on the other way I call that our competition which is the

competition of the past no I think that when when Paul says that we may not have

that but I would rather do that than do anything to hurt the middle class let's

see that's what I don't understand and I followed your policies really closely

the the state and local income tax deduction elimination you take that away

and then you go to a fifth bracket or fourth bracket however you want to say

it and you get a higher rate for the top earners if the top earners pay 80% of

the taxes why are you so afraid to cut taxes on the top earners I think this

look you know I am very happy with the way I've done prior to this in my

civilian life all right other people well it's about me and representing rich

people let's say representing you know being representative of rich people was

very interesting to me Bob Kraft was down he was very nice he owns the

Patriots he gave me a Super Bowl ring a month ago

which was very nice yeah that's right but he left this beautiful ring and I

immediately give it to the White House and they put it someplace and that's the

way this but he said to me he's a good man he said to me you have to do us all

a favor give the tax decrease to the middle class we don't need it we don't

need it we don't want it give it to the middle class and I've had many people

very wealthy people tell me the same thing I've had very few say I want more

I want more they really want to see you know the middle class has really not

done very well over the last long period of time and so when Paul mentions maybe

one more category which I'd rather not have it may not happen but the only

reason I would have and he does say this is very plain nobody said is if for any

reason I feel the middle class is not being properly taken care of much more

of my exclusive interview with President Trump in just a moment including the

president's take on the corporate tax rate whether the end of NAFTA may be

near follow me on Twitter at Maria Bartiromo at Sunday futures let us know

what you would like to hear stay with us we're looking ahead this morning on

Sunday morning futures right here

well welcome back more of my exclusive interview right now with President Trump

moments ago we heard what the President had to say about individual tax rates

but the corporate rate will be critical and that certainly will be critical for

the economy I asked him about that we need the corporate tax down you know

maybe is the most important and we have a lot of most importance but bring it

down from 35 down to 20 percent that's a massive it was the biggest that we've

ever done it's a big deal on the corporate rate for sure it's a big deal

for companies it's a big deal for investment I think one of the other ones

is expensing you know when you write something off in one year as opposed to

you know over many years I think that's going to be tremendous we have so many

things in this plan that are going to be for growth and you know your next

question is going to be deficits and all and I fully understand that and we all

understand it and growth if we pick up one point on GDP that's two point five

trillion dollars if you think of it two point five it more than pays for

everything and I think we pick up much more than one point and I've been the

one that's saying we're gonna hit three sooner rather than later

well last quarter we hit three point two yeah we haven't been there Maria we

haven't been there in a long time it's been a long time as you know the

previous administration didn't hit it for the year for eight years in eight

years it didn't hit it at all here we headed in you know an early quarter for

me and actually before that it was down in the ones it was down in the ones I

used to like one and a half percent growth for a long time you know I call

up I'd become friendly with leaders of other very very you know large countries

and then said how you doing and they would say we are not doing well we are

not doing well GDP is at 7 percent GDP is at 8 percent we are not happy and I'm

saying you know we had it at 1 percent so I really think we can do much more

than a portent let's see what happens but one point is two and a half trillion

and millions of jobs let me ask you about your recording of the Democrats

recently I mean the reason that I brought up this other bracket is because

I feel like the Republicans get bullied by the left by this whole talking point

of it's always tax cuts for the rich yeah you've been that's an automatic

talking point I mean are you getting bullied again I

don't think so I've been doesn't seem like it we just got the budget you get a

fifth but here's the thing Schumer I like Schumer but before he even knows

the plan say oh this is for the Richard so he doesn't even know what the plan is

and he's screaming it's for the rich he did it with health care too he said this

is for the rich this is for the rich you're not gonna get your coverage

everybody is going to go into hospitals it's going to be terrible the world is

coming to an end okay didn't even know what the plan was and that's okay you

know we're all learning politics right and he said that voice it's the same

thing because I some two days ago before I really knew what was happening he said

oh no it's for the rich it's an automatic statement it's like in

business you asked for twice as much you go back with Chuck Schumer I like you

both for this is helpful in terms of in negotiations I don't think it matters I

mean I really don't but I met with the Senate Finance Committee I met with the

Republicans Democrats together right across the hallway two days ago we had a

great meeting Ron Wyden was their chairman we had a fantastic meeting

there's a lot of similarity they want tax cuts all summary they want tax cuts

and they want them as fast as possible now they don't want to say it and

they're saying oh gee you know the the middle the middle class I call them the

working people because they really are the working people but the middle class

doesn't benefit that's that's just standard but they know it they do

benefit they're the big beneficiaries the other thing the other big

beneficiary jobs wages what's been my priority and if you look at what I've

done between regulations I've cut more regulations in nine months than any

president has cut during the entire term that there were nobody's than President

Bush I mean the the federal pages are down 30% under your leadership and and

by the way I've just begun because I mean really a lot more I mean I think I

can double it before it's over but a lot of its statutory where you have to give

a 90-day notice and then you have to give a hundred and twenty day we've

given those notices I mean we're going to be doing a lot more but you look at

you know Keystone pipeline Dakota access pipeline these were all dead projects

they approved them in my first feed days I mean literally in my first we had

a three point one percent GDP because of the regulation rollback that you did

there are some industries that are not that regulated I'm wondering what you

think about tech right now because you have these companies that are more

powerful than ever before they've got everything all this data on us they're

selling the data should the tech companies be more regulated well I guess

some people talk about freedom and other people talk about we want to know who's

taking ads are doing whatever and I would imagine something's gonna come

down along the line like we're doing right now for regular you know whether

it's commercial or not for a normal broadcast company it'll be

very interesting to see you know that's an argument that's happening right now

it'll be very interesting to see what there are two very distinct views on

that I can go honestly I can go either way on if mister president who do you

want to see wanting the fed well as you know I've been seeing a number of people

and most people are saying it's down to two mr. Taylor mr. Powell I also met

with Janet Yellen who I like a lot I really like her a lot so I have three

people that I'm looking at and there are a couple of others I'd say I will make

my decision very shortly pretty shortly isn't there a way that you can get

Taylor and Powell in there because you've got a vice chairman opening as

well you can actually put them both in there is that in your thinking it is in

my thinking and I have a couple of other things in my thinking but I like talent

and they're both very talented people and it's a hard decision sex a very very

important decision people have know most people have no idea how important that

position is that position is actually more put a lot of people say get rid of

the Fed take the Fed out the feds a very important position it's also important

psychologically if the right person is in there a lot of good things can happen

I think I'm doing a good job for business so that way people are coming

into the country you saw what happened with Foxconn going to Wisconsin you see

what's happening with Apple where they're gonna I said to Tim I said to

Tim Cook I said to him I want some of those big beautiful plants that I see in

China they have to open in this country you got to give me some big beautiful

plants it's happening so all happening the auto companies are coming back into

our country coming up to Michigan again they're going back

we're not going to be taken advantage of we were taken advantage of but I

wouldn't say the company so much but by other countries we were so badly taken

advantage of as you know we're negotiating with NAFTA and they have an

election right now and lots of things but at some point either NAFTA will be

renegotiated so that it's fair to the United States or it will be terminated

and it's very simple people think that's a very tough statement but it will

probably be renegotiated but if it's not successfully renegotiated so it's fair

for the United States it will be terminated my exclusive interview with

President Trump as we look ahead this morning on Sunday morning futures back

in a moment

dicks or visit rate calm welcome back debate and controversy last

week over the phone call that President Trump made congresswoman Frederica

Wilson who says that she was listening to the call she accused the president of

not showing proper respects but last week the president's chief of staff John

Kelly defended the president in an emotional statement I asked mr. Trump

about that he is a very elegant man and he is a tough strong four-star marine

either four-star marine your you've got something special to start off with okay

general mattis general Dunford also but very few he he was so offended because

he was in the room when I made the call and so were other people and the call

was a very nice call he was so offended that a woman would be

that somebody would be listening to that call he was he actually couldn't believe

it actually he said to me sir this is not acceptable this is really not and he

knew I was so nice I was like I've called many people and I would think

that every one of them appreciated it I was very surprised to see this to be

honest with you and by the way I spoke of the name of the young man and I it

was it was a really it's a very tough call those are the toughest these are

tougher than dealing with the heads of countries believe me these are very very

hard calls they're sad and and sometimes you know the grieving is so incredible

but he's just an elegant man and a wonderful man and he is doing a

fantastic job as chief the the congresswoman Frederica Wilson she said

oh everything he said was because he's just trying to keep his job he doesn't

need this job in fact he didn't really want this yet he was so happy you know

he's a military guy he was doing this incredible job on the border and

elsewhere you know he ran homeland like nobody has ever run it down 78 percent

of the border crossings that's before the war he was there's nobody plus you

go to the original first day there was nobody close to doing the job and I said

I'd like to take you how would you like it and it's not that he wanted it

actually he would have preferred doing and staying where he was he is a man

that felt it would be important for the country he does it for the country he's

not doing it for what he wants he does it for the country this is a very

unusual man so when she made that statement I thought it was sickening

actually I just want to ask you before I lose you about the border and you you've

said you want a legislative fix for daca what else do you need to see in terms of

the border what are you see we are working on daca we'll see if we can get

something with daca we have to build the wall we have to all you have to do is

look at what's happening in Mexico we have to build a wall going to stop drug

trafficking to a large extent I mean what's happening with drugs and I'll be

making a big announcement on that next week what's happening with drugs in our

country and by the way in the world it's not like we're single down but it's

never been like this and a lot of the drugs come through that southern border

and we need a wall we're gonna have a wall we have to I would like to do

something with daca and we are negotiating right now with the Democrats

we'll see we can come up with a solution but I can tell you I and the Republicans

are very open to it we have to get something in return and last week on

this program we had Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu he commended you he

congratulated you for D certifying Iran in what you did last week do you think

you're gonna get the Europeans to support you in terms of sanctions in

terms of not selling technology to Iran honestly I told them they're friends of

mine they really are I get along with all of them whether it's a manual or

whether it's Angela I get along if that I really like those people I told them

just keep making money don't worry about it we don't need you on this you just

keep making money when Iran buys things from Germany and from France and from

the various you know by you know billions of dollars even us you know

they were going to buy Boeing's I don't know what's gonna happen with the deal

we'll see what happens with the deal but but when they buy those things it's a

little harder for those countries to do something would they do it if I really

was insistent I believe they would I told them just keep making money don't

worry we don't need you on this one hmm and on North Korea is our policy with

China just about what it does with North Korea or do we have a separate policy

with China for something from China has been I've developed a very good

relationship with President Xi President Xi is right now going through his

Congress and it's going to be something very soon it's going to happen right

that gives him something that few leaders of China have ever had and I'm

really good with that and to be honest when I told him this I want to keep

things very very low-key until such time as he gets that I want him to get that I

think he deserves it it's a good man but they have been helping us they're

closing off their banking systems to North Korea they have cut the oil way

down now their banking systems we can see because it all comes through here as

you know know the oil you can never really see what's going on but the oil

is way down the oil is a they're doing a lot of things for the first time ever

for the first time ever there was a recent article that said I have the

greatest relationship of any president the two of us and I think we do I really

do I think I don't want to be foolish he's for China and I'm for the US okay

so we start off with that but we do have a very good I would say an exceptional

relationship and China's really helping us and Wilson with respect to North

Korea look 93% of the things going into North Korea come through China China is

big stuff I believe he's got he's got the power to do something very

significant with respect to North Korea we'll see what happens for anything we

are so prepared like you wouldn't believe

you would be shocked to see how totally prepared we are if we need to be would

it be nice not to do that the answer is yes will that happen

you

Trump Just Added Worst Possible Name for Dems to SCOTUS List: Sen. Mike Lee. - Duration: 3:09.

it's music to the ears of any constitutional conservative: Supreme Court Justice Mike Lee.

It's also Democrats' worst nightmare.

If you thought they were freaking out this week over Justice Anthony Kennedy's retirement

announcement, imagine how they'd react to the Utah senator joining the High Court.

Well, we might soon find out.

President Donald Trump has asked his advisers about nominating Lee to replace Kennedy, according

to a Bloomberg News report Thursday that cited "three people familiar with the matter."

It's hard to imagine a better choice for conservatives.

Lee's rock-solid voting record has earned him perfect 100 percent scores from Conservative

Review and the Heritage Foundation.

In addition, he has the highest lifetime score from the American Conservative Union at 99.43

percent.

The senator also has a strong background in the law.

He has served as a federal court clerk, assistant U.S. attorney and general counsel for Utah's

governor, in addition to his private practice work specializing in appellate and Supreme

Court litigation.

Many prominent conservatives have come out strongly in favor of Lee's nomination to

the Supreme Court.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) appeared on Fox News Wednesday after Kennedy's announcement and

said Lee would be the "single best choice the president could make to fill this vacancy."

"I think he would be extraordinary," Cruz said of his friend.

"If you look back at Republican nominations to the Court, Democrats have batted almost

1.000.

Just about every nominee they've put up there has voted the way they wanted on just

about every single issue.

Republicans at best bat .500.

About half of the nominees Republican presidents have put on the Court have turned into train

wrecks — have turned into liberal activists.

"The reason why I think the best choice that President Trump could make is Mike Lee

is because I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Mike Lee would be faithful to the Constitution

and the Bill of Rights."

Radio host Mark Levin also urged Trump to choose the senator, saying there is "no

doubt at all that he'd be absolutely faithful to the Constitution."

The response to Levin's tweet — over 32,000 likes and 10,000 retweets — showed many

conservatives agree.

Arthur Schaper of Townhall.com endorsed Lee for the job Friday, citing his staunch constitutionalism,

his independence and his relative youth (with the lifetime appointment, the 47-year-old

would likely be on the court for decades).

Erick Erickson of The Resurgent said choosing Lee would be a win-win for Trump.

Lee has indicated he would accept the job if nominated.

It seems like a no-brainer.

How about it, Mr. President?

what do you think about this?

QUEEN ELIZABETH DEFIES LIBERALS TO TAKE MAJOR STAND FOR TRUMP - Duration: 13:05.

QUEEN ELIZABETH DEFIES LIBERALS TO TAKE MAJOR STAND FOR TRUMP

Ever since President Donald Trump took office, liberals have been demanding that Queen Elizabeth

refuse to ever meet with him.

Next month, however, the Queen will be defying everyone when she meets with President Trump

and Melania at Windsor Castle on July 13.

Daily Mail reported that the Trumps will be staying at the US Ambassador's residence

of Winfield House at Regent's Park in what will be Melania's first airplane trip since

having kidney surgery last month.

While they are in the United Kingdom, the Trumps will be honored by No 7 Company of

the Coldstream Guards, Britain's oldest regiment, who have served in nearly every

major battle since the Civil War.

Prime Minister Theresa May has reportedly told the Trumps to stay clear of London during

their visit, as she fears that mass protests will ensue if they come there.

Though he will be meeting with the Queen, Trump will avoid her new granddaughter-in-law

Meghan Markle, who has been an outspoken critic of his since he was running for president.

During the election, Meghan was asked how Trump's momentum could be stopped, and she

held nothing back with her response.

"It's really the moment that I go, we film Suits in Toronto and I might just stay

in Canada," Meghan said.

"I mean come on, if that's reality we are talking about, come on, that is a game

changer in terms of how we move in the world here."

"Yes of course Trump is divisive.

Think about just female voters alone," she continued.

"I think it was in 2012, the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points.

That's a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is and so vocal about it, that's

a huge chunk of it.

You're not just voting for a woman if it's Hillary because she's a woman, but certainly

because Trump has made it easy to see that you don't really want that kind of world

that he's painting."

We're glad to see that the Queen is rising above this anti-Trump nonsense to meet with

the American president!
