Trump news on Youtube Jun 30 2018

U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet for their first summit

on July 16th in Helsinki.

Now the big question on everyone's lips is.... will the meeting lead to a thaw in Washington-Moscow

relations?

Ro Aram reports.

The date and location of the Trump-Putin summit were announced simultaneously by the White

House and the Kremlin on Thursday.

The White House said in its statement that the two leaders will discuss relations between

the two nations and a range of national security issues.

The Kremlin issued a similar statement.

It remains to be seen whether or not contentious issues, such as alleged Russian election meddling,

will be touched upon.

That is one issue that has sent tensions between Washington and Moscow spiraling into a near

Cold-War low.

Helsinki, the venue for the summit, as it turns out is famed for its Cold War diplomacy.

The date, July 16th, has also been set to follow Trump's trip to a NATO summit in Brussels

and a stop in Britain.

NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg welcomed the talks, saying he also wants a better relationship

with Russia.

For Putin, the summit will offer a chance to try to persuade Washington to lift some

of the sanctions imposed on his country.

They were imposed over Russia's 2014 annexation of Crimea, its support for separatists fighting

the government in eastern Ukraine and its alleged meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential

election.

However, the upcoming meeting will be closely watched by U.S. allies in Europe and Russia

sceptics who want to isolate Moscow over its leader's continued hostility towards the West.

They are also concerned that Trump is being a bit too friendly with Putin.

The pair have met before on the sidelines of international gatherings and have spoken

on the phone at least eight times.

New Democrat Wants To Run For President—She Would Guarantee Trump For 2020 - Duration: 2:49.

New Democrat Wants To Run For President—She Would Guarantee Trump For 2020

The Democratic Party is fracturing apart.

Thanks to their refusal to connect with American values, they are losing major support.

That has given rise to far-left radicals taking over.

People who could never win over most of America have now become the face of the party.

New York was shocked long-time Rep. Joe Crowley lost to extremist Ocasio-Cortez.

The self-proclaimed socialist wants to—among other things—abolish ICE.

Right, good platform.

And although the novice politician has yet to win a seat in Congress, she has aspirations

that are far out of her reach.

From New York Post:

Insurgent Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to take her budding political career

all the way to The White House, her mother told The Post on Wednesday.

"She has been thinking about politics since she was a teenager.

She would read historical and political books old and new.

She would engage in political discussions passionately."

Blanca, a 55-year-old secretary for a school in Florida, spent a few days campaigning with

her daughter.

She said Ocasio-Cortez's upset victory over Congressman Joe Crowley was like "fighting

Goliath."

Yeah, okay, mom.

Let's see if she can actually win a general election, first.

This woman advocates for socialist propaganda even Obama wouldn't touch.

Something tells me her career won't be long.

Ocasio-Cortez won the primary entirely thanks to identity politics.

The left still prioritizes women and minorities over skill, experience, and character.

They don't really care about a leader's ability to govern, so long as they can brag

about her race or gender.

Add to that Ocasio-Cortez's ridiculous promises, she is the poster child for unrealistic, dishonest,

and ultimately corrupt insiders.

The very swamp Trump is draining.

But because the Democratic Party has lost any moral compass it once had, con artists

are thriving in their ranks.

They have given up trying to respect the values and traditions of the American people.

Instead, they pander to illegal aliens and advocate lawlessness.

Ocasio-Cortez might con her way into a junior spot in the House.

But she will never be embraced by the vast majority of Americans.

At best, she will down with the liberal ship, with the rest of the rats.

What do you think about this?

TRUMP INFURIATES LIBERALS WITH HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT ILLEGALS - Duration: 15:12.

TRUMP INFURIATES LIBERALS WITH HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT ILLEGALS

Over the past week, liberals have been up in arms over the immigration "crisis"

that has been manufactured by the mainstream media.

Now, President Donald Trump has made an announcement that has infuriated them even more, as it

shows that he has no intention of backing down.

Breitbart reported that while speaking at a rally in Fargo, North Dakota on Wednesday,

Trump called out "extremist Democrat politicians" for the recent attacks by open borders activists

on Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Referring to the fact that a database has been created to attack ICE agents at their

home addresses, Trump said that a "shameless attack" that has been perpetuated by Democrats'

recent call for ICE to be abolished.

"In recent days, we've heard of shameless attacks on these courageous law enforcement

officers.

Extremist Democrat politicians have called for the complete elimination of ICE.

'We don't want ICE anymore.'

You know what would happen to parts of our country, it would be overrun with the worst

criminal elements you have ever seen," Trump said.

"Left-wing activists are trying to block ICE officers from doing their jobs and publicly

posting their home addresses, putting these incredible people and their families in harm's

way."

"These radical Democrat protesters, they really want anarchy, but the only response

they will find from our government is very strong law and order.

We will not tolerate attacks on our law enforcement," Trump continued.

"We will protect our law enforcement like they protect us.

We will always stand proudly with our brave heroes of ICE, the Border Patrol, the sheriffs,

the police.

Yes, the firemen.

The firemen are sometimes under attack if you can believe it.

The firemen, these are great people.

And we have their backs."

We're so glad to see that Trump is standing by the ICE!

PRESIDENT TRUMP: AMERICANS HAVE SAVED S3B ON THEIR UTILITY BILLS DUE TO TAX CUTS - Duration: 33:38.

Oh God

thank you very much everybody the economy is indeed doing well

six months ago we unleashed an economic miracle by signing the biggest tax cuts

and reforms I have to add the word reform very important word but the tax

cuts is what got us there and that's what's really doing it the biggest tax

cuts in American history now it's my great honor to welcome you back to the

White House to celebrate six months of new jobs bigger paychecks and keeping

more of your hard earned money where it belongs in your pocket or

wherever else you want to spend

before going any further I'd like to address the horrific shooting that took

place yesterday at Capitol Gazette newsroom in Annapolis Maryland

this attack shocked the conscience of our nation and filled our hearts with

grief journalists like all Americans should be free from the fear of being

violently attacked while doing their job to the families of the victims there are

no words to express our sorrow for your loss horrible horrible event horrible

thing happened when you're suffering we pledged our eternal support this

suffering is so great I've seen some of the people so great my government will

not rest until we have done everything in our power to reduce violent crime and

to protect innocent life we will not ever leave your side

so our warmest best wishes and regrets horrific horrible thing thank you

for today's event we're honored to be joined by our great Vice President Mike

Pence dinner

also joining us are secretary Stephen minuchin has been keeping very busy

lately Steve secretary Wilbur Ross Wilbur secretary Alex Acosta just came

up with a great health care plan thank you Alex great health care plan

people are really liking it association sonny Perdue the great Secretary of

Agriculture Small Business Administrator Linda McMahon doing an incredible job

director Mick Mulvaney

and treasurer Jovita Carranza jobina Jovita

thank you thanks also to a really great friend of mine Mississippi Governor phil

Bryant and all of the other state local federal officials that have done so much

to help us with this incredible tax cut and job plan you see how it's working

although I have to say I think that the cutting of regulations may be had just

as big an impact I don't want to I don't want to say this to you but I think the

cutting of regulations had just as big an impact I also want to welcome

Juanita Dugan Kay calls James Karen Carrigan and Michael Elliman for helping

us your support has been incredible in getting this very difficult legislation

to the finish line and fast please stand up stand up what a team great here

great team thank you very much and there are so many others in the room I you

know you're never gonna speak to me again but we're not gonna give any more

names right let's get down to business other than these names who are the

important ones okay we're also especially proud of the Republican

members of Congress who fought I mean they fought with us they didn't get a

Democrat vote we didn't get one vote for these massive tax cuts so I want to

thank Roger wicker representative Diane black Kevin Brady what a warrior Kevin

Kevin come on stand up

Mike Kelly my friend and Jason Smith our great Republican members of Congress

worked night and day to score this landmark victory this really was a

landmark victory for their constituents but much more importantly for the

country unfortunately every single Democrat and the House and Senate that's

right every single one voted against lower taxes for the hard working

Americans and you see what's happened it's turned out to be something very

special the tax cuts and Jobs Act slashed income

taxes all across the board we nearly doubled the standard deduction and did

double the child tax credit which Ivanka wanted very much shall I tell you

instead about the

she's got a bigger hand than the politicians you better be careful that

means you're all in trouble the typical family of four earning $75,000 will see

an income tax cut of more than $2,000 and in some cases more slashing their

tax bill in half we cut taxes for businesses of all sizes to make this the

best place on earth to start a business to invest we have billions and billions

of dollars of additional revenue coming in we lowered the corporate tax rate so

the American worker finally has a level playing field we allowed companies to

deduct every single penny of investment in new equipment and is called expensing

it's the biggest secret in the plan I think it'll go down as maybe the most

important element it's one year expensing nobody thought we'd ever see

that so incredible for starting up a business or running a business we

greatly reduced the burden of the unfair estate tax commonly known as the death

tax you know that's such a big thing and most farms and most small business will

not pay any estate tax or death tax anywhere such a thing

we created opportunities owns to promote more jobs in low-income communities we

opened Anwar that's a big one we opened up Anwar that was one that they said no

president could get it for many years I wasn't going to do it because I was

angry at someone I said I'm not going to do it and then when I heard that Ronald

Reagan couldn't do it nobody could do it they've been trying for 50 years I said

oh let's do that immediately it's like a challenge and they've started that

process it's gonna be something one of the biggest in the world

we also repealed in our tax cut plan we repealed the most I guess you could say

unpopular thing I've seen in a long time in politics or legislation the

individual mandate on Obamacare the individual members how about that one

that's not a very good one that's where you have the privilege of paying a

fortune in order to not pay to have bad health care think of it so in other

words you pay a lot of money not to have health care so it's not working too good

we got rid of it that's a big thing we've got no credit but that's okay

that's okay I've had some people come up to me they

say they'd like that as much as the tax cuts it was a big thing and Obamacare is

just about over we have come up with so many plans and we have a plan coming out

an additional plan secretary is coming out in a very short period of time which

is going to be I think it's going to perhaps match your plan from Department

of Labor it's going to be something very special six months after our tax cuts

more than six million workers have received bonuses pay raises and

retirement account contribution and one of the one of the beautiful elements of

what I do I love to see happy faces but I'll stand on line sometimes before or

after a speech and I'll be with a lot of people that want pictures for whatever

reason they want a picture of me and I stand with the police a lot and I'll see

you a policeman and in particular one in New York City and he said sir I want to

thank you you've made me a hero to my wife and to my family I've always been a

horrible investor but this year my 401k think of it is up like 46% I think he

said my wife thinks I'm a genius she thinks I'm the greatest investor for the

first time in my life

and you know in terms of value or worth we've created seven trillion dollars

worth of value for our country and people don't know this we're double the

size almost double the size because we hear China and China's terrific in a

relationship is terrific we're straightening out the balance and I

think most people want to see that but we're the largest economy in the world

by far and as you know we've increased a lot over the last one and a half years

but we're almost double the size of China and far bigger than anybody else

and we're going up very rapidly and it's going to continue to go up very rapidly

biggest in the world by far think of that we are the biggest you know that

the biggest economy in the world by far that's the only way to do it right good

it really is it's pretty good and they helped us a little bit right just a

little bit that's okay every little bit counts so the share of small businesses

raising benefits and pay has just set a new all-time record and manufacturing

optimism to me is so important because it's all about optimism is the highest

ever recorded this is a

this is a statistic that's been around for a long time highest ever recorded

hundreds of billions of dollars are coming back from overseas over 300

billion dollars was just repatriated into our country in the first quarter

alone think of that 300 billion money we never would have seen trillions more

dollars are on their way back and as you know Apple announced they're going to

spend three hundred and fifty billion dollars not million I would have been

happy with that too but three hundred and fifty billion dollars is being

brought back I guess the total amount they're

bringing back is approximately two hundred and thirty billion and they're

putting up the rest the old-fashioned way they're bringing this money back it

would never have come back they're going to build an incredible campus and lots

of other things we just left Wisconsin and what Foxconn is building up in

Wisconsin is literally and I said it the eighth wonder of the world it's

incredible what they're doing fifteen thousand jobs

it's going to cost fifteen billion dollars it is something that is so

incredible you have to go see it nobody would believe what's happening more than

100 utility companies have lowered prices as a direct result of our

business tax cuts saving Americans 3 billion dollars on their utility bills

utility bills are going down unemployment claims are at a forty four

year low that's a good one forty four years

something I am so proud of I love it unemployment for african-americans is at

the lowest level in the history of our country

I'm looking at Kevin there was a good job you were right about that Kevin huh

how is it that is something we're alright everybody in this room was right

and I have to say unemployment for Hispanic Americans likewise is at the

lowest point in the history of our country unemployment

unemployment for women and how've you listened to my speech two weeks ago you

would have heard me say is the lowest in 21 years now I'm saying it's the lowest

in 65 years and soon will be the lowest in history the difference 21 years 65

years hopefully in a week or two it will be history we're close to history 65

years of long time I'm also very proud to say that unemployment for the

disabled Americans has reached record lows giving these incredible Americans

the chance to realize their unlimited potential and that's what it is

unlimited potential many former inmates are also getting a second chance at life

we are keeping our promise to buy American and hire American and what's

happening is our economy is so good our unemployment is so low and our

employment is so high maybe that's an even nicer way of saying it and people

that want to get a second chance inmates people coming out of jail where

the stigma was so great people weren't hiring businesses weren't hiring they're

hiring them now in record numbers and you know what these businesses are

saying they are fantastic they're set and there's one gentleman in particular

he hired 10 inmates never did it before and he said I wouldn't say he said all

of them but he said seven of them are so incredible is not a bad percentage I

think that's a better percentage than we have he said seven of them are as good

as he's ever had and he's going to do a lot more of it so there's nothing like a

great economy to solve that problem Jared

and Chris thank you very much great but this is all because we're one country

and really one family and we salute one great and beautiful American flag we

love that flag and at last our country finally has a tax system that is Pro

jobs Pro worker pro-family and pro-american so one incredible citizen

who has benefited from our tax cuts and job act is lasagna hill I love that name

lasagna if I have another daughter I think I'm gonna name it can I copy I

like that name of Jacksonville Florida great place I know it well

the son is the director at customer care at Crowley marine following the tax cuts

in Jobs Act Crowley was able to pay employees like lasagna a big tax cut

bonus they took a lot of money and they gave it around to the employees that

bonus will help support the education of her two sons Cameron and Christian

good again

pretty good

so we're so happy for your family and I know your sons are gonna make you very

proud they're great young men and lasagna please would you say a few words

please

Thank You mr. president for the invite it's an honor to be here today as you

said Crowley maritime was able to benefit from the tax reform by paying

employees bonuses and in return my family we were able to invest in our

children education

my son Cameron he will be entering into his senior year at Morehouse College in

Atlanta Georgia

and my youngest Christian Hill he will be entering into his freshman year at

Savannah State both in the fall

so because of this you know Crowley maritime is a fantastic company I've

been there 24 years I'm very honored to work for such a great company and for

the company to benefit from such a great tax opportunity in which they were able

to give back to the employees and so I want to thank not only mr. president for

allowing us the opportunity to tell our story but also Crowley as a company that

I've been whipped for so long throughout my career so thank you again

by the way she got the biggest by far including you Ivanka and including all

of my political geniuses out here great job like you're a professional

speaker have you done that before yep not that's called potential thank

you very much beautiful beautiful family another American who has used his tax

cut to give back to others is guy berkebile president of guy chemical in

Somerset Pennsylvania the great state of Pennsylvania credible place guy

increased bonuses raise salaries and purchased new equipment guy has also

hired 30 new employees to help meet customer demand which is actually

booming right now the best he's ever had and here with guy are two of his

tremendous employees Lee and deist and Michelle croolik we want to ask guy

maybe if you could come up say a few words about the tax cuts and how it's

affected your company and I assume your people that work for you are really

happy please

if President Trump and the members of Congress who have voted for this tax

bill I can't tell you how much it means to my company and my employees when I

founded my company in 1995 I mortgaged my house seven times in order to pay for

the growth of the company over the next 10 15 years before the company finally

got large enough that you could stand on its own the money that we are saving

from the corporate tax cuts I have reinvested back into our business and

into our employees we recently just built an addition onto our manufacturing

facility in Somerset Pennsylvania this addition includes new equipment a new

compounding room in a new lab for research and development that is five

times larger than our old lab

this investment in our company has led to a 35% increase in sales over the

first quarter of 2018 in addition to the 30 new jobs that we created this year so

far

so with the tax cut money I have been increasing salaries and we have also

increased bonuses to our employees I have some of my employees that have come

down are sitting out here in the in the fourth row and I have two right here

Michele chu'lak her son also works for us to Michele's one of our line leaders

she is using the additional money from her increased bonus to fix her car I

take it so she has a reliable way to work every day and her and her husband

are also taking a vacation a second honeymoon to celebrate their 25th

wedding anniversary this year

'only diced he's a Navy veteran

but we're proud of our servicemen back home he is our head and maintenance he's

the guy that keeps my plant running he and his wife have two young daughters

under the age of four so he's using his additional money from his bonus to help

offset his expenses for child care and they are also taking their first

vacation in five years

President Trump I'd like to thank you very much for fighting for American

businesses and our workers who keep our factories running

how did he do pretty good pretty good Wow that's a good that's a good

combination I want to tell you a lot of talent I just want everybody keep up the

great work because common sense is being restored in Washington again because

hardworking Americans are in charge of their government once again Washington

tried to change us but that's not going to happen instead we're changing

Washington and we're changing it quickly and for the better

that's why our economy is booming that's why our families are thriving that's why

our businesses are growing and that is why America is winning like never ever

before we're setting records every day these

are victories and there your victories and now what we're doing is we're

straightening out our trade our trade has been a disaster we were being taken

advantage of as a country by many many countries friends and enemies and those

in between and sometimes our friends in terms of trade were treating us worse

than the enemies and I want to just tell you that's being taken care of very well

and very beautifully our steel industry is coming back never have they seen

anything like what's happened over the last four months with steel they were

dumping steel dumping all over our land they were dumping steel and we were

losing our steel business United States steel the head called me up two days ago

he said the most incredible thing that we've ever seen we haven't expanded in

thirty years we haven't done anything remotely like expansion and we're now

expanding and renovating areas of plants that haven't been used in forever

you remember US Steel was mess if they have plants that went a mile and a half

long and they were using little corners of plants he said this has not happened

for decades it's back we were in South Carolina the other night and Georgetown

steel Georgetown is a wonderful company couldn't make it they closed four years

ago they announced as I literally was getting off the plane they announced

that they're opening up their steel mills 600 people are employed

and don't forget what it means is it means jobs but we can't lose the steel

industry steel we need certain industries we have to have but it means

Jeb said you know what else it means billions of dollars will come into our

treasury nobody talks about that billions and billions of dollars but

what's happening with steel aluminum what's happening with other industries

where we're working to revive them believe it or not washing machines they

were dumping washing machines and they weren't good machines all over the

country and we put a big tariff on a certain country for doing it and now we

have these washing machine plants that would close they're open and they're

thriving solar panels 32 plants it's a new industry so they weren't old 32

plants all over the country two were opened the rest a gun out of business

now those two and those two were in bad shape now they're doing great and

they're looking at 10 11 and even 12 reopening of solar plants all over the

country and these are really great panels so the level of quality and just

to finish many countries are calling saying let's negotiate

they were never doing that they're saying let's negotiate please please we

want to negotiate they weren't doing that before of course I'm not sure if

your past representatives would have known the difference but let me tell you

their calling and they want to negotiate and all we want is fairness we're gonna

be the smart country again not the stupid country that was taken advantage

of and you made this possible you are all

truly making America great again a slogan that I'm very proud of that was a

slogan that seemed to have worked I tell you what it's it was a very special and

it's so accurate even more so than America first you know America first is

very threatening to others that we don't want to be threatening but make America

great again that's what's happening we're bringing back our pride we're

bringing back our jobs we're bringing back our wealth and for the citizens of

this great land we're bringing back our beautiful American dreams we have dreams

you guys have dreams I'll bet right big ones because now you're on a level

playing field now you're on a level beautiful playing field they're gonna be

great futures so I want to thank you all I want to just say God bless you all

very very special people thank you for all the help our country is doing so

well possibly as well as it's ever done I don't think it's ever done like this

in terms of the economy and we have were rebuilding our military seven hundred

billion dollars we got approved and seven hundred and sixteen billion

dollars for the following year so we'll have the strongest best most modern

military that we've ever had relatively speaking and we need it

and we hope we never have to use it but the stronger it gets the less likely it

is that we'll ever have to use it so we're gonna have something very special

I want to thank a couple of the generals some of my great generals are in the

back these are tough cookies we have the best in the world we have the best

military in the world but now we're going to have it's equipped with the

finest and remember what else that means that means jobs because we build it here

when we build those beautiful planes from Lockheed and from Boeing and

Grumman and all of the different places we are this American jobs the ships to

all American jobs so it means a lot jobs mean nothing compared to the importance

of having the right that's in one case this is probably the only case where the

jobs aren't as important we have to get the military taking care what jobs are a

secondary benefit and we have jobs all over the country so I just want to thank

everybody for being here there's a very special time for the country very

special time for you god bless you all thank you very much the President of the

United States in the East Room inside the White House with a very personal

touch obviously you've heard him referencing by name some of the

politicians the leadership in the room that helped him with tax cuts

representatives Dianne black and Kevin Brady LG's throughout a couple names he

called out his daughter who's a senior advisor to him inside the White House

Advantage Trump but then he went to people who've actually benefited from

the tax cuts and so this became personal for Lasagna who was to his right as he

spoke she spoke at the lectern and he said wow you could you've got potential

you could do this every day she talked about how her company took the windfall

of cash from tax cuts benefits and pass those on to employees so we've been

watching the president live and you were watching outnumbered stay with us

remember sleep before smartphones

Melania Trump Infuriates Liberals With What She Just Did At Texas Border - Duration: 11:02.

Melania Trump Infuriates Liberals With What She Just Did At Texas Border

Last week, First Lady Melania Trump enraged liberals when she headed to the U.S. border

with Mexico by wearing a jacket that read "I really don't care, do u?"

Now, Melania has infuriated liberals once again with what she did when she returned

to the Texas border.

Right Wing News reported that Melania wore simple white slacks and a black blouse as

she visited centers where children were housed after their parents were apprehended at the

U.S.-Mexican border.

She did not announce details of her visit, once again letting the media know that she

does not care what she thinks about their opinion.

This of course enraged the liberal media, as they like to think that everyone cares

about what they have to say.

This comes after Michelle Obama once again showed how classless she is by kicking Melania

while she was down as she bashed her "I really don't care, do you?"

jacket the same day the mainstream media was freaking out about it.

"I couldn't make those kinds of [fashion] mistakes, I was outstanding," said Michelle.

Of course, Michelle made this all about race.

"Barack and I knew very early that we would be measured by a different yardstick," Michelle

said.

"Making mistakes was not an option for us.

We had to be good — no, we had to be outstanding — at everything we did.

When you're the first, you're the one that's laying the red carpet down for others

to follow."

This was a clear dig at Melania, but it didn't take long for it to come back to bite Michelle.

She obviously forgot that during her own time as First Lady, she was anything but the fashion

icon that Melania has become.

Despite what Michelle and the mainstream media say, Americans everywhere have fallen in love

Trump casts doubt on Russian election meddling ahead of Putin summit - Duration: 3:38.

Trump casts doubt on Russian election meddling ahead of Putin summit.

President Donald Trump continues to cast doubt on US intelligence assessments, that Russia

meddled in the 2016 presidential contest, just as his aides are finalizing details of

his upcoming summit talks w ith President Vladimir Putin.

"Russia continues to say they had nothing to do with Meddling in our Election!" Trump

wrote on Twitter Thursday morning.

He went on to question why US law enforcement agencies weren't investigating, other perceived

influences on the election, which he has repeatedly said was rigged for his opponent Hillary Clinton.

"Where is the DNC Server, and why didn't Shady James Comey and the now disgraced FBI agents

take, and closely examine it?

Why isn't Hillary/Russia being looked at?

So many questions, so much corruption!" he wrote.

The President's tweet was sent roughly a half hour before the White House announced, that

the two leaders will meet on July 16 in Helsinki, Finland, where they will "discuss relations

between the United States and Russia, and a range of national security issues."

Trump's summit with Putin is likely to draw criticism from the US President's domestic

critics, who accuse him of currying favor with Putin.

Speaking in Moscow on Wednesday, US national security adviser John Bolton said Trump would

likely raise the election meddling issue, during his sit-down with Putin.

Bolton himself addressed it during his own meeting with Putin this week.

And he brushed aside suggestions that a Trump-Putin meeting would amount to conciliation from

a President, who intelligence agencies assess was favored by the Russian government.

"I think a lot of people have said or implied over time, that a meeting between President

Trump and President Putin somehow proves some nexus, between the Trump campaign and the

Kremlin, which is complete nonsense," Bolton said in Moscow.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo insisted during a CNN interview this weekend, that Trump takes

election meddling seriously.

"Make no mistake, President Trump agrees Russia interfering in our election is something they

simply cannot do," Pompeo said, referring to the midterm elections.

"I don't think he would take any umbrage with that."

Trump himself has been committal.

Asked in the Oval Office on Wednesday whether election meddling would arise in his talks

with Putin, Trump turned to his Portuguese counterpart and said: "You never know with

meetings, right?

But I think a lot of good things can come from meetings with people."

US intelligence agencies concluded in a January 2017 report, that Russia sought to influence

the presidential election in Trump's favor.

"We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect

Trump," the report read.

Two agencies the CIA and the FBI came to that assessment with "high confidence."

Another, the National Security Agency, arrived at that conclusion with "moderate confidence."

Trump has downplayed those conclusions previously, saying he takes Putin at his word when he

says Moscow did not attempt to influence the election.

"He said he didn't meddle.

He said he didn't meddle.

I asked him again.

You can only ask so many times," Trump told reporters in November, shortly after speaking

with Putin on the sidelines of a leaders summit in Vietnam.

UN migrant organization rejects Trump's nominee - Duration: 1:04.

An American will no longer be heading the United Nations' migration organization.

Ken Isaacs, the Trump administration's pick for director general of the International

Organization for Migration, was rejected by the organization Friday.

The IOM is involved in major immigration issues around the globe, from helping deal with asylum

seekers in Europe to aiding Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.

An American has headed the IOM for most of its 67-year history.

Isaacs had been a controversial pick since the start.

Not long after the Trump administration nominated him for the position, the Washington Post

dug up some of his old social media posts in which he disparaged Muslims and suggested

Christian asylum seekers sometimes deserved preferential treatment.

Isaacs is an executive for a Christian humanitarian organization called Samaritan's Purse.

Following the Post's story, he apologized for his statements and said he was trying

to provoke debate.

There are two remaining candidates for the IOM position: Antonio Vitorino of Portugal

and Laura Thompson of Costa Rica.

FED UP TRUMP GOES ROGUE ON JEFF SESSIONS - Duration: 14:35.

FED-UP TRUMP GOES ROGUE ON JEFF SESSIONS

Attorney General Jeff Sessions seat is getting warmer by the minute.

Sessions' conduct in the Russia investigation has become a magnet for criticism.

And this Trump advisor has Sessions wondering if his days are numbered.

Former Fox News host Eric Bolling is a long time Trump friend and confidante.

Bolling is someone whose opinions carry weight with the President.

So pundits took notice when Bolling blasted Sessions on twitter.

Bolling ripped Sessions for caving into the swamp and allowing the Russia investigation

to spiral out of control.

Bolling's tweet came on the heels of Fox News Channel's Jeanine Pirro – who is

also close friends with the President – ripping Sessions as "the most dangerous man in America."

Trump supporters believe these tweets are being used to send a message to the President.

And there are signs Trump may soon act.

Trump has long been frustrated with Sessions for the Attorney General's inability to

stand strong in the face of media pressure about Russia.

In an interview on Fox and Friends, Trump hinted he may fire Sessions and Deputy Attorney

General Rod Rosenstein once the Mueller probe wraps up.

This would be welcome news for Trump supporters.

Since Sessions recusal, Rosenstein has acted like he is accountable to no one.

Rosenstein has ripped Congress executing their Constitutional oversight authority as "extortion."

And Sessions has so far refused to prosecute Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and Andrew McCabe

for their obvious crimes.

Nor has Sessions launched leak investigations that would identify any of the leakers who

fed classified information to the press and prosecute these criminals to the fullest extent

of the law.

Trump supporters are hoping Bolling and Pirro's tweets are a preview of Trump removing Sessions

and Rosenstein.

Do you agree?

HUCKABEE: TRUMP SUPREME COURT PICK CAUSING - Duration: 14:30.

also getting reaction from the White House president Trump tweeting my

thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families thank you to

all the first responders who are currently on the scene and press

secretary Sarah Sanders writing quote strongly condemned the evil act of

senseless violence in Annapolis Maryland a violent attack on innocent journalists

doing their job is an attack on every American our prayers are with the

victims and their friends and families always telling what happens in a small

beautiful American town like an Appalachian everybody is so closed there

too and it's rocking that community so we should see an appearance perhaps in

court about 90 minutes from now yeah watch for that meanwhile our other big

story of the day president from meeting last night with a small bipartisan group

of senators as he considers his pick to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice

Anthony Kennedy speaking yesterday in Wisconsin the president pointing to his

first Supreme Court pick Neil Gorsuch calling the process of nominating a

justice quote the most important decision a president can make we had a

fantastic choice with justice score such very proud of it doing a fantastic job

and we're gonna try and do just as good so we're gonna start working on that

process we've already started and hopefully we're gonna make you very

proud we will hear from former governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee in just a

minute but first let's get to Kevin cork he is live at the White House this

morning Kevin what a week what a week indeed and you know it's important

Sandra in particular with the president who have been traveling extensively

comes back here to the White House to conduct meetings that last well beyond

8:00 p.m. now you've pointed out a bipartisan group of senators came here

to the White House interesting collection here we're talking about this

meeting ahead of his next election for the High Court a trio of Senate

Democrats from decidedly red states you see him there Manchin Donnelly and

Heitkamp and a pair of Republicans that thought to be less than reliable or less

than predictable at a minimum we're talking about Collins and Murkowski now

yesterday also in Wisconsin the president talked about the process and

he told the audience there it is full steam ahead we're gonna pick

ourselves one great United States Supreme Court justice to take the place

of a great man Justice Kennedy really a great person

great man I'm so honored that he decided to do this during our term and I think

that showed confidence in US meanwhile yesterday a rally spearheaded by

Democrats against the president's election which for the record has yet to

be made this is a line that's been drawn about whether we are going to

criminalize women whether we are going to be arresting women for making

decisions about their bodies this is not a fire drill this is not a hypothetical

case the New York senator speaking there by the way there have been some folks on

Capitol Hill who suggested Sandra the president should make this pick at all

because this is an election year they were noting the fact that Mitch

McConnell basically slow-walked and installed ultimately that Merrick

garland selection of President Obama's but the key distinction here is this is

a midterm election year not a presidential election year Sandra expect

to hear a lot more on that Kevin cork at the White House thank you no doubt a

next guest weigh in on all this last night for Arkansas governor Fox News

contributor Mike Huckabee with us this morning and Sarah welcome back here to

America's newsroom here's your tweet from last evening so glad real Donald

Trump will appoint the next kotas justice but it's causing Dems to melt

faster than the Wicked Witch of the West at a waterpark I don't know how long you

worked on it what do you mean well the fact is the Democrats are being

irrational let me quote a famous politician Barack

Obama who said elections have consequences they certainly do we elect

the president he picks Supreme Court justices it's the way it works

he picked I'm talking he Barack Obama picked two Sotomayor and Kagan was was I

excited about that no but he had a right to do it and a lot of Republic

voted to give him those pics now Democrats act like know if it's

Republican president he doesn't get to do that well why not I think the

Democrats are going to be unhappy with whoever Donald Trump puts forward if he

put Moses up for the possibility of being Supreme Court justice the ultimate

lawgiver the ten commandments they would still be against it no I don't think

Moses is available this time around I think you would agree with that if you

have a name and how do you think it changes America if it does one of the

things I feel very strongly about is that it shouldn't be that you pick

somebody because you perceive them to be a conservative that's the whole problem

at the court it's become an honor you do audiological court it shouldn't be

conservative or liberal it ought to be a constitutional court and the pic ought

to be somebody who has great respect for the actual words of the Constitution

what they meant when they were written and until they're changed and follow

them what we do not want liberal arc quote conservative is somebody who wants

to legislate from the Supreme Court bench if you want to be a legislator run

for Congress you want to be a Supreme Court justice look at the letter of the

law and interpret it but don't make it up and that's been the problem for the

past 40 or 50 years with Supreme Court justices who thought they were members

of Congress we may get a pic before the Moscow summit we'll see whether or not

that happens Mitch McConnell's with shannon bream last night his he and his

wife are the victims of a verbal assault one could suggest perhaps leaving

Georgetown and that's what he said about that that's not much I loved it and I've

got one tough wife I'm really proud of her and I think getting in people's

faces in public places and trying to make them uncomfortable it certainly is

not a great way to sell your point of view but I think everybody ought to have

their say what do you make of that when your

daughter was a victim of this last Saturday someone the last day the GOP

the president started it you talk about this a lot civility in American life

well bill I think the tragedy is that a lot of people on the Left now think that

it's not enough to go and vote at the ballot box or even go to town halls and

public meetings of political nature and express themselves or write letters to

the editor now it's about not just shutting down their views but it's about

shutting them down in a personal way not allowing them to go to a movie or a

restaurant our pump gas is Maxine Waters famously said don't let people do

anything that's not that's not a free society that's not a place where liberty

reigns that's a place where fascism reigns when you start telling people

that they can't live their lives normally and freely we don't want that

kind of Society I don't want it for people on the left I would never want to

shut down their businesses my gosh that's that defies everything I believe

and love about America is that people can have different points of view

governor appreciate your point of view this morning thank you sir Mike Huckabee

with us today thank you Bill you bet thank you enjoy

the weekend you bet and we will have more on the Supreme Court nomination and

a whole lot more with today's headliner Kellyanne Conway joins us live at the

top of our 10 o'clock hour looking forward to that also we got this deputy

AG rod Rosen Stein grilled by Republicans at this hearing yesterday

that when you all watched watch here and I wonder why you won't give us what

we've asked for sir I certainly hope that your colleagues are not under that

impression that is not accurate sir it is accurate we have caught you high

discrimination we allow those it's time so did lawmakers learn anything from

this testimony where are we now and when do we hear from Peter struck the

chairman is Bob good lot he's our guest live coming up next Andrew Plus

president Trump says he is looking forward to next month's meeting with

Vladimir Putin General Jack keen joins us to talk about that high stakes summit

also meet a US Navy lieutenant and NASCAR driver putting his life on the

line to rescue a family from a burning minivan hear his harrowing story of

survival coming up

I am the deputy turned general United States okay you're the boss mr. Rosas

time that's correct why'd you tell Peter struck not to

answer our questions yesterday but I didn't computer to strike any

instructions poor wood said his bias is the appropriate explanation for his

conduct do you agree I certainly agree with the findings of the inspector

general report and I think those messages clearly do indicate bias we

need a date when you found out that the wife of your deputy was working for

people who are actively trying to undermine president Trump she was a

fiery hearing that's just a sample as republican lawmakers clashed with the

Deputy Attorney General rob rosenberger his department's role in the Trump

campaign surveillance to allege stonewalling of document requests by

committee congressman Bob good lots chairman the Judiciary Committee he led

the operation yesterday with me now back in his district in Virginia and sir

thank you for coming back here and good morning to you got about a second delay

in the satellite's this morning though what did you learn through this

back-and-forth well I got two things accomplished yesterday first of all a

confirmation by the Deputy Attorney General the United States that he agrees

with the Inspector General's report that there were many many missteps made by

the FBI in the investigation into various actions by former Secretary of

State Hillary Clinton and he confirmed that he agreed that that was extreme

bias reflected not just by Peters truck and Lisa page but by others who were

identified in that report and therefore that's confirmation that this this

investigation that we've been conducting needs to move forward because it now

moves into what happened when Peter struck moved from the Clinton

investigation into the so-called Trump Russia collusion investigation

secondly we had the opportunity to address some of our concerns regarding

the production of documents and the testimony of Peter struck in a private

interview the day for that interview was plagued by the

FBI's counsel instructing him repeatedly not to answer questions that are very

important to our investigation so I got the opportunity to impress upon both the

Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein and director ray how important that is and

to point out a new develop and that is that in the production of documents

which has been improving greatly and they have produced a tremendous number

of documents someone at the department justice made the decision not to include

communications within the Department of Justice only within the FBI or between

the FBI and the department but you have two people looking into the Clinton

matter or other matters related to our investigation we're communicating with

each other in the Department of Justice those weren't produced yesterday from

John Losh the US Attorney to get on that and get on it right away so that's four

things there it sounds like a lot with regard to the struck interview and when

you when you say that the lawyer for the FBI repeatedly interrupted him and

refused to answer a number of questions well why would Peter struck appear

before your committee do you still expect him to do that

well or is this a case that Peter struck appearing raising his right hand and

taking the Fifth Amendment well we don't know what he'll do when he testifies he

when he was allowed to answer questions he answered the questions some of his

answers particularly regarding the explanation of a number of his

outrageous text messages were were completely unbelievable but nonetheless

he will be back before the committee for a public hearing take place soon we do

not have a date yet but we're getting close and we'll announce it soon okay

Democrats are making the case that all you're trying to do to this committee is

undermine the system of justice well what what do you say to Democrats

and what do you say to Americans who grew up trusting an FBI and trusting the

CIA is that trust been broken sir well we are all about making sure that the

rule of law and our system of justice work

very well and unfortunately as reflected in the inspector general's report that

broke down in 2016 and then on into 2017 with very unbalanced biased

investigations leaning over backwards to make sure that Hillary Clinton did not

get indicted and then leaning into and launching an investigation in the

presidential campaign related to Donald Trump and his campaign and we have a

tremendous number of questions that the American people share and we're going to

get to the bottom of that and in the process we're going to restore the

reputation of the FBI because director ray and general Rosenstein both have

been very committed to doing this there have been a cleaning house there six top

people at the FBI are now gone from director Comey and the deputy director

and mr. struck I think is on his way out the door that is a positive step

the director director ray has also indicated he agrees with most if not all

of the recommendations made by the Inspector General on how to proceed in

the future they are implementing programs right now to make sure their

agents know they cannot conduct themselves 2020 or any other time the

way they did in 2004 ray yesterday morning sir I'm out of time but I thank

you for your time today is more to come on this clearly and we'll see if and

when Peter struck testifies Bob Goodlatte thank you the chairman of the

Judiciary Committee live at his home district in Virginia thanks again
