I want delete .My pic
Hi Balram, thanks for posting.
Were the photos recently deleted? If so, you should be able to recover them from the trash within Google Photos
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app
.
- At the bottom, tap Library
Trash
.
- Touch and hold the photo or video you want to restore.
- At the bottom, tap Restore.
If a deleted photo or video isn't in trash, you can’t restore it. You won't be able to restore a photo if:
- You moved it to trash more than 60 days ago.
- You moved it to trash, then emptied your trash.
- You permanently deleted it from your trash.
- You permanently deleted it from your device’s Gallery app, without backing it up first.
On an Android device, there are apps available which claim to be able to "scan" your phone to possibly recover pictures. Use these apps with caution and be sure to thoroughly research before installing on your device.
I hope this helps!

Question: Share via App (NOT eMail or SMS)
Hi guys,
Hi guys,
When I share photos some of my contacts seem to have the option to share to another user's Google Photos app. In this case just their name is listed (no email or phone etc) and a small Google Photos logo is overlayed on their user icon.
The contact I want to share with doesn't have this option even though they have been using Google Photos since it launched. We are trying to share a dynamic album but don't want notifications to be sent via sms or email.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi Ghost,
One possibility is that the recipient that you are having a problem with has more than one Google Account (and they may even be confused about which one they are using for Google Photos - I guarantee this happens sometimes).
But honestly, just use their email account. Most people are less confused by this (and some people don't pay attention to their app notifications). I use the Google Account with certain people, but not others (depending on how they use their devices).
Good luck! Dougsap

Hi andy,
The only effective way to reach out to Google is to Leave Feedback. It is unfortunate that Google don't respond or give visibility of what happens to feedback, but we are assured that management reports are produced and action taken as a result of this analysis.
You can see your own feedback at Feedback Reports and I always start the feedback with Capital letters for the title because I think it will show up better if I submit multiple times,

Question: How can delete duplicate photo from google photos
Many duplicate photo
Good Morning Prabhash, thanks for posting.
There is no native ability within Google Photos to initiate a find/remove duplicates. There are a couple options you can try..
- If you log into Google Photos on the web and navigate to https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_ this will show a view of all photos by upload date. This may help identify your duplicates for easier deletion.
- There are apps available on the play store which advertise themselves as being able to scan photo libraries to identify and remove duplicates. Buyer beware though.... make sure to thoroughly research the app to ensure it will work as you intend.
I hope this helps!

I suggest you go through the following article first to understand the nuances of deleting the pc.
When you delete a photo in Google Photos it will also be deleted from all synced devices. In practice that are only mobile devices (phones and tablets) since syncing with computers has been disabled. There are however ways to do this:
- Disable Backup and sync on the device
- Move the photo to a non-synced folder before you delete it from Google Photos.
- Once done, open the link https://photos.google.com through any browser on your phone, log into your Google Account & start deleting the unwanted pics.

How to recover my permanently deleted photos pls i really need back
Hi, Maheen Tanveer
Welcome to Google Photos Community Support Forum & thanks for your query.
However, once a user deletes something permanently despite a warning message or allows the content to time out in the bin, Google doesn't maintain any backup.
There is no way to get back the content through Google Photos.
Nevertheless, you may install to your Android device a deleted photo recovery app (be sure to not pick one that requires rooting) https://play.google.com/store/search?q=recover%20deleted%20photos&c=apps;
and run a scan for anything to recover.

Space on your phone or space at Google?
The space on your phone is not changed, because they still will be kept for 30 days in the Recently deleted folder in the Apple Photos app.
Space at Google may not change because they were uploaded in high quality before June 1 and then Google did not count their space.
Please tell us the 3 numbers you can see at one.google.com/storage

Question: Please transfer my photos to my SD card
Transfer my photos to my sd card
Hi, Sizwe Mabanga
Welcome to Google Photos Community Support Forum & thanks for your query.
Although there are multiple ways to transfer the content from the internal memory of the phone to an SD card, doing so through Google Photos allows retaining the backup and sync aspect.
Please follow the steps below to achieve the transfer.
- Open Google Photos.
- Tab Library.
- Tap the desired folder under Photos on the device like Camera, Screenshots etc.
- Select photos by long pressing then tap others after the tick confirms the first selection
- You can also long-press and stroke down while still in a pressed condition, to select a batch.
- Next, tap the 3 dot menu top right.
- Tap Move to folder.
- Tap New SD folder, type a folder name then tap Create.
Note that if the photos are backed up to Google Photos this will not remove them from the Photos, and even if the new folder is not selected for Backup & sync any contents will still be deleted if you delete that using the Google Photos app.

Google photos was identifying/ labeling my new pet under my other pet. I removed them from the other pet's label/group and went in and labeled him in his own and made an album. Google photos continues to not automatically add the pictures to his album/under his label even though I have it set up that way. Suggestions? My face grouping has been and is turned on.

I have been unable to receive emails because my google photos is full. I never wanted my photos to be synced to google. My computer says I am not synced to google photos, but there are current photos in my account. when I delete the photos they delete on my computer. How can I unsync this so I can receive emails again and not have my pictures stored with this terrible program?
Answer:
Hi Rachelle,
Welcome to the Google Photos Help Forum.
Just to let you know, your storage is shared across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. In the meantime, please check the storage space of Google Drive through the desktop using the attached link.
However, if you'd delete photos and videos, they will also get removed from:
- photos.google.com and any synced devices
- Google Photos albums
- Google Photos movies when you edit them.
- Google Drive, for photos and videos that are synced with Google Drive.
- Any shared albums you may have added them to.
Therefore, if you'd turn off backup and sync in your device and then delete the photos from your Google Photos, it won't get deleted from your device. But if you'd again turn on backup and sync, the photos will get deleted from the device.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Emma

Rachel, your Google Photos should not be taking up space in your Google Account. This video shows you how to fix it if they are: https://youtu.be/0L04oeyn3-Q

I have selected photos for a photo book chronologically, but the photo book has changed the order. Is there a way to have the photos arranged chronologically?
Answer:
I would expect that you have created an album which is automatically sorted chronologically.
But if you have changed their natural order by manual corrections, I can imagine that the draft book still follows the uncorrected order. Hard to check for me and hard to correct either.
If you tell about your method, I can try to find the bottleneck and the solution.
Sorry - just volunteers here.
PS: if pictures from social media are involved, you always can expect troubles.
Answer:
I am creating a book, not an album. I have chosen the photos in chronological order, but when I go to edit the book, the photos are no longer in chronological. Is there a way to keep them in the same order as I selected them or simply in chronological order?
Answer:
Sorry Richard, but it is more wise to start with creating an album in which you normally have the correct chronological order and then use that album as the base for your book. That may avoid your problem.
Answer:
I created an album that had my pictures in chronological order. I then went to create a photo book using the album. Again the pictures in the photo book were not in chronological order. Is there a secret code I need to use to keep the photos in the photo book in the same order as they are in the album?
And why is this so difficult?
Answer:
Ugly, but open the album and then choose Edit album under the 3 dots and then click the small up and down arrows in the right corner and choose Old to new. Maybe the order is then like in the book and the problems may be caused by some social media photos which never have correct dates anymore.
Sorry for all troubles, but no Google here to give a better answer,
