hanamant patil,
When you attempt to manually empty the trash bin in Google Photos, a warning message box appears that explains you are about to permanently delete those pictures and videos. If you choose to proceed anyway, there is nothing that any of the volunteers in this forum can do to help you recover your pictures.
The information on the following Google Photos Help pages will help you become more familiar with finding, deleting, and restoring your pictures:
If you deleted pictures or videos that were not previously backed up to your account through the Google Photos app, then unfortunately there's nothing that Google or any of the volunteers in this Help Community can do to recover them.
Files that existed only on your phone, ones that were never uploaded to the cloud, cannot be recovered or restored by a cloud storage service. Simply put, Google can't help you recover files it never had in the first place.

Just using default but pics are small.
Hi, Leslie Christensen
Welcome to Google Photos Community Support Forum & thanks for your query.
You can zoom into the pic & make that larger.
If you are looking for increasing the size of photo file, then, that wouldn't be possible through Google Photos.
However, you can download the picture on a Windows PC & then use the MS-Paint programme to resize the picture to any desired dimension.

Recently, I tried to backup all of my photos from my phone to Google photos but I have too many photos to back up and it ended up taking up all of my storage. Now I can't edit any documents or send emails. I have another google account that I can use to back up my photos, I just don't know how to transfer them to that account to free up some space in my first account. I am also okay with google not backing up my photos anymore so I can get back that storage on my first account.

I'm looking for a way to tell Google Photos that No New Photos should get a specific name tag. (Deceased pet's name)
My girl cat passed away, but my boy cat looks very similar. All my photos of him are being automatically tagged with her name. I understand cats can be hard for AI to distinguish, but really, the AI should stop applying and/or archive her name.
I don't want to remove the tag - I want to be able to look back at old photos of her. But, no new photos should have her name in it.
Has anyone found a way to archive a name or prevent new Photos from being tagged with that name?
Thanks for any help/suggestions!

To unhide a person that you hid before, please follow these steps.
- Tap the search icon at the bottom
.
- Tap view all to see the thumbnails of all the persons in people & pets.
- Tap the three dots at the top right corner
- Tap on the menu "Hide & show". Please note this menu works like a toggle. If you tap once, the hidden faces become visible. If you tap a second time, then all hidden persons hide again.
- Now you will see all the hidden persons with a symbol of eye & a slash across that.
- Tap on the eye once. Please note, the eye icon also acts as a toggle. Tap once, the person will be unhidden. Tap a second tome & then the eye will reappear hiding the person once again.
- Once the eye symbol is gone, the thumbnail of the person will become visible again.

Now- with that out of the way let's deal with Deepak Bhardwaj 3697's post in Google Photos.
Please note that, due to a variety of reasons, not all files can be recovered - but you can try!
1. Items deleted from your photos.google.com are stored in trash for 60 days and then are Auto-Deleted from trash and can not be recovered.
2. Items deleted manually from photos.google.com/trash can not be recovered.
3. Items deleted from your YouTube Channel can not be recovered.
4. Items deleted from your Gmail are stored in trash for 30 days and then are Auto-Deleted from trash and can not be recovered.
5. Items manually deleted from Gmail trash can not be recovered.
6. Items deleted from your Google Drive will be stored in Drive Trash for 30 days and then be Auto-Deleted from Trash and can not be recovered.
1).If you are using a regular personal account
You will have to contact a Google Drive Specialist who *MAY* be able to restore it. Use this link:
2). If you use a work/student account (G Suite), you should contact your Account Admin as they can restore files up to 25 days after deletion.

Answer:
Leah_Bell,
The amount of free storage space you have with Google is shared between Google Photos, Google Drive, and Gmail.
This means that email attachments in Gmail, original quality pictures in Google Photos, and certain file types in Google Drive will all reduce the amount of space you have left.

Visit the Google One storage page to see your current storage usage. Visit the Google One Storage Management page to view more comprehensive details about your files along with options for cleaning it up to create more space.

Answer:
Hi RVEGA,
>>> I just purchased my own phone and would like to separate my personal photos from my business photos. How can I do that?
The easiest way, assuming we are not talking about thousands of images (and possibly even then) is to create an Album in the ~Company~ account(s) containing the personal images, then Share the Album to your personal Gmail account and very important "Add to library".
For more info, see Method B in: https://sites.google.com/site/picasaresources/google-photos-1/how-to-transfer-photos-from-one-google-account-to-another
Confirm that everything is in your personal account by verifying them at: https://photos.google.com/u/0/
Then wait a week and clean up (e.g., delete if desired) the images in the Company account - be VERY careful that you are logged into the correct account!
It is always a good idea to store important images in more than one place / tool. My photos are in Google Photos, on my laptop, and on multiple external disk drives (not connected to any computer or network).
Best regards, Dougsap (volunteer Google Photos user)

Question: How to recover permanent deleted videos
I've tried everything possible
Restore photos & videos
If you deleted an item and want it back, check your trash to see if it’s there.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app
.
- At the bottom, tap Library
Trash
.
- Touch and hold the photo or video you want to restore.
- At the bottom, tap Restore. The photo or video will be back:
- In your phone’s gallery app
- In your Google Photos library
- In any albums it was in
If the item is not in your trash, it may be permanently deleted.
Don't see the photo or video?
If a deleted photo or video isn't in trash, you can’t restore it. You won't be able to restore a photo if:
- You moved it to trash more than 60 days ago.
- You moved it to trash, then emptied your trash.
- You permanently deleted it from your trash.
- You permanently deleted it from your device’s Gallery app, without backing it up first.
To find and recover photos easily, turn on back up & sync.
Important: If your Google Photos account is inactive for 2 years or you're over your storage limit, your content may be impacted. Learn more about this.

I am confused by what you are asking.
It sounds as if the problem you are having is with Google Search, and not Google Photos app specifically. That is< you had a Google search for images, and the Google app updated and somehow affected your search results?
If the problem is with Google Search, please visit their help community https://support.google.com/websearch/community?hl=en
If the problem is with your Google Photos app and you are trying to locate your own missing images, etc. (and not a web search for images) please visit this help article https://support.google.com/photos/announcements/9343342

Hi, ilke haadsma
Welcome to Google Photos Community Support Forum & thanks for your query.
The Google Photos app acts as a portal viewer & shows the content from the phone & the cloud also.
That creates a wrong impression about the backup happening even after turning off the setting.
Nevertheless, you have the following options.
- Uninstall the Google Photos app if your device permits you to do so. If not, disable that through settings.
- Or use the Google Photos app without any account.
That will remove the impression of backup happening without your permission.
