I have 2 gmail account open on my phone. One of them is solely for my university work purpose. Today while checking something up on my google photos i noticed that my photos and videos have been backed up on my both Google account. So, without thinking anything I deleted all the private pictures and everything from the account which i use for University purpose only. I cleared my trash bin as well. Unfortunately, it was all deleted from my phone's gallary and from other Google account as well. I know i've done such a stupid thing. Now can you please tell me is there any way to recover them?

First, are you sure the photos were backed up to Google Photos before they were deleted? Did you ever see them at photos.google.com or in the app on another device?

 

If so, start by checking the trash. If they're not there,  there have been some reports of Google Drive being able to restore user’s deleted photos. Below are steps that another user posted here

Steps:

1. Go to Google Drive help and click on contact us.
2. Select any option, but selecting Missing or deleted files is recommended. Then select Request chat option.
3. IMPORTANT NOTE: Don't tell them that you are trying to restore Google Photos.

REASON:  
Our storage is shared across Google Drive, Gmail, Google Photos. Google Drive help is there to assist you only on Drive related queries. So, if you tell them that you are about to restore permanently deleted Google Photos, they will end the chat with giving you this product forums link which is not at all useful. But the hack here is that Google Photos can also be accessed from Google Drive (From the left-hand sidebar) and in a way, Google Photos too come under the files of Google Drive.
Just tell them that you've accidentally permanently deleted some files in Google Drive and you need those files back.

Backup and Sync is primarily a Drive product, with the added option to upload photos and videos to Google Photos.  The issue you are having is with the Drive Interface, please try Google Drive Support and let us know if you get an answer so we can help other users.

 I was so excited about the people function that a friend showed me. I've uploaded pictures and also captured pictures but there are no faces populating in the people album. It's not working. I have the function turned on to group. And in the people album it says "We're ready for your close ups. Take more photos to see them grouped by friendly faces". Keep adding more and nothing is happening. I've tried toggling the function on and off (in the app and on my computer) and have tried signing out. Nothing is happening. Please advise.

How long has it been since you uploaded photos? Have you gotten any cards in the Assistant tab about creations? If not, it may still be processing all your photos

Hm I'm not sure why the faces haven't been tagged. It's possible maybe the AI got overloaded if you uploaded too many photos at once? I'd recommend turning face grouping off then back on, and then try uploading your photos in small batches (20 - 30 an hour maybe?) to see if any of those get tagged. Then wait 24 hours after upload to see what happens.
