Yesterday due to some internal problems with my phone , the oppo service center have done the factory reset.. but before that as well i have checked all my photos in google photos backed up. But, now after entering my account, only the camera photos has not restored rest all has been restored.. but there are some imp photos so i need to restore the camera photos as well..

The Google Photos app not only shows photos that have been backed up, but also the Camera photos that are on the phone, even when not backed up. That is very confusing and may make you think that the photos have been backed up because you see them in the app. 
 
To really check that photos have been backed up you should go to the web app https://photos.google.com/.

Hi, i am a bit confused. 
Im using android phone and am using google photos as my photos app, backed up to my google account. Recently i got a notification 'you are ready to free up space, these items are already safely backed up in your chosen quality'. 
So my question is:
1. When it says free up space, does it mean it will delete the photos in my phone? 
2. And if that is the case, how do i access all the photos again? Is it through the same google photos app? 
3. My husband clicked yes on the same option but he still can see all the photos in his google photos app, are the ones that he can see now physical copies from his phone or the ones that had been backed up? 
4. And how do i know which have been backed up?

    The photos you can see on https://photos.google.com/ are backed up. 
Warning: It's not recommended to use Free up space without first making another backup of your photos. There are even reports that photos got lost, although we cannot verify whether that is correct.

When the photos were backed up to Google Photos, you should find them in the Google Photos app when you sign in to the account used for backing up, or on https://photos.google.com/ (for example on a computer). 
When the photos were not backed up and were ONLY on the phone, there is no way to recover them.
