Hello, Thanks for contacting,

If you want to get a deleted item back, check your trash to find out if you can get it back. If your photo or video has already been backed up and you deleted it, it will remain in your Trash for 60 days.
  1. On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
  2. On the left, click Trash .
  3. Place your cursor over the photo or video you want to restore, then click Select .
  4. At the top right, click Restore  Restore. That photo or video will be restored to your Google Photos Account and added back into any albums it was in.
Don't find the photo or video?
If a deleted photo or video isn't in trash, you can't restore it. You won't be able to restore a photo if:
  • You moved it to trash more than 60 days ago.
  • You moved it to trash, then emptied your trash.
  • You permanently deleted it from your trash.
  • You permanently deleted it from your device's Gallery app without backing it up first.
To find and recover photos easily, turn on Back up and Sync.
Important: If your Google Photos account is inactive for 2 years or you're over your storage limit, your content may be impacted. Learn more about this.

Good luck.

I have tried two times to upload my student ID card with the correct birthday date, but the google team denied my request, I guessed because I didn't use the government ID card. However, my mum doesn't let me do this. I apologise, will there be any other solution, and not set up a supervision . Thank you.

Dear All, I am using a Blackberry Key 2 Android 8 phone and I just got a new Samsung S21 Phone with Android 11 system.   Both have same Gmail account successfully linked but the Google photo gallery are different, the Samsung that is new phone when I open Google photos tells me "Getting ready to back up" and 49536 pictures are left" that 48 hrs ago were 52245 pictures.   My questions please: if I wait for the Samsung Google pictures to go to zero pictures left then I will have same gallery of the 2 devices? Why it is so slow? If a phone like the samsung has less pictures than the old android blackberry there is the risk that with sync it will delete automatically all my pictures backed up? Grouping faces seems to get slow or stuck for a while for many users. There is not much you can do.
Adding people manually seems to be in the planning but not available yet.

  • Portrait light : Change the position and brightness of light for photos of people.
  • Blur : Blur the background on certain photos of people not captured in portrait mode.
  • Color focus : Desaturate the background, while you keep the foreground in color for photos of people.
  • Smart suggestions : Easy to use one-tap edits that adapt to each photo's content.
Important: You can still use blur, color focus, and the color pop suggestion on photos taken in portrait mode (with depth information) even if you're not a Google One member or Pixel user.
