This happens with invariably all the pictures I click on my camera. It let's me see it but when I try to share it on WhatsApp it says sharing failed. When I try to edit it, it says check your Internet connection (I have a perfectly strong WiFi connection, every other app works fine). This has been going on for a long time. Please help.

Sorry, we are just users trying to help and cannot solve your problem. We can only  try to inform you, for example:

 

• When you deleted photos, also from trash (= permanently deleted) they can no longer be recovered from Google Photos cloud. 
• You can check in the Gallery or other File managers whether the photos are still on your device, but when you deleted in Google Photos app, the device copy may also be deleted.
• You can try to recover them from the device with appropriate recovery software.

• When you shared the photos with others, they may still be available, but only when they saved them elsewhere. 
• To be safe you should always have at least two not-synced copies of your photos !
