I was asking for the person who was trying to Share photos with me … but I will ask whether this "Data Access Granting" has been done, on the Phone that is about 6 wks old … and seemed to be sharing photos OK up until about a week ago.  Possibly the "Access Grant" got turned-off(?).  WHERE does that "granting" get set??  TIA

@Author: I certainly understand your concern as you're unable to share photos. For this, could you please confirm if the sharing works on the web version of the Google Photos?

In the meantime, please try these steps on your device:
  1. Close the Google Photos app and re-launch it.
  2. Sign out and sign back in to Google Photos with the same Google Account.
  3. Clear App data:
    • Open your device's Settings app (not the Google Settings app).
    • Touch Apps.
    • Select Google Photos in the list.
    • Touch Clear data.
  4. Update the Google Photos app on your Android phone:
    • Visit the Google Play Store.
    • Open Google Photos.
    • Touch on Update.
  5. Restart your device.
You may also visit this help article for information on sharing photos.

A lot of my photos were removed from google photos. I don't understand how when all of those photos were already backed up and it even told me backup completed. There's no way it didn't completely backup. The app literally deleted photos from my phone after saying I can view those anytime because "it's safely backed up" and now my photos are gone. I can't eben search them up. It's not in my camera roll iCloud or Snapchat memories. I'm 110% sure they all backed up. It didn't show me no loading icon. I checked trash achieved picsweb everything you guys suggested. What's going on ?? A lot of people are having this problem too.  Can you guys give me all my photos back ?? Literally so many photos were removed ones that were literally backed up before like I logged into my google photos with my computer and seen it that's how I know it was backed up and now it's gone from both my phone and computer. Please fix this. Like I actually came to google photos because I trusted it more than all those other photo saving apps.

There is no two-step authentication in the Google Photos app.
 
To protect your content in Google Photos, you will have to follow these steps.
  • Set up two-step authentication for your Google account.
  • Change the password to a complex combination of letters, numerals & special characters. No one should be able to guess the password.
  • Never share your password with anyone.
  • Use screen pinning when you hand over your phone to someone for making a call etc.
  • Log off from browsing sessions from desktop PCs.
  • Check the devices you continue to remain logged in through the link https://myaccount.google.com/device-activity. Remove any unknown device.
  • Do not share your photos & videos with anyone when you are suspicious about falling into the wrong hands.
  • Remove any partner sharing for the same reason.
  • Refrain from sharing your photos & videos on any social media.
Once you ensure every step as above, there wouldn't be any possibility of your photos & videos ever getting leaked.

There can be multiple reasons for the video not producing any audio.
  • You may not have allowed your camera app to access the microphone on your device.
  • The audio codec encoded by the camera app may not be compatible with Google Photos.
  • You may have muted the video, or the volume may be too low.
Can you verify these possibilities?
 
Nevertheless, can you try installing some different video player app like VLC & see whether that outputs the audio?
