Google Photos automatically uploads everything in the DCIM folder. On certain devices screenshots are saved to a “Screenshots” folder inside “DCIM”. This makes Google Photos automatically upload them under "Camera".

This is an old issue (see https://support.google.com/photos/thread/91562 and many others) which was never solved. In some older threads I found some suggestions for a solution:
- The simplest suggestion is to hide the screenshots in Google Photos by "archiving" them.
Note that deleting from Google Photos will normally also delete from the device.
- This seems to work on some Android devices, but on others it seems to create another screenshots folder under DCIM the next time you take a screenshot:"Go to My Files > Internal Storage > DCIM and find the screenshots folder.

The first thing is to check if the images/videos are available in the web version of Google Photos. To do this, go to https://photos.google.com.
Look under the "Photos" menu, located in the left menu. If the images / videos do not appear, proceed to look for them in the "Trash".

What we see as duplicates have some differences in file format or metadata.

Unless you mean text placed on the pictures, but in the editor on Google Photos you can't do that.
However you can install the free Snapseed-app on your phone and then you are able to do that and much more.
If you sync the the Snapseed folder, the edits will get uploaded automatically to Google Photos and then you can assign them in an album which can be found in the Blogger editor also.

If they were "Added to Library" they should be visible in "Photos" https://photos.google.com/u/0/ in date order not necessarily at the top of the "Photos" timeline.
It might be easier to find a sample of images if you use the date from the Information Panel ("i" icon) to locate in in "Photos".

I certainly understand the importance of being able to backup photos and videos. Please know that, if a photo or video didn't back up, it might be because:
- Item size: Photos larger than 75MB or 100MP, videos larger than 2GB, and items smaller than 256 x 256 can't be backed up.
- Slow network connection: Your device might have a slow or no network connection.
- Unsupported file type: See which file types can be backed up.
If that's not the case, please try these steps to upload videos to Google Photos from your browser:
- On your computer, open photos.google.com.
- At the top right, click Upload.
- Find and select your video.
- Click Open.

However, do you want to rotate the photos only while viewing? Or make that a permanent change?
Nevertheless, when you activate "Auto rotate" through the notification panel shortcut on your Android Phone, the photos will turn to landscape mode.
