I deleted photos from my google photos because the storage was full. Somehow those photos have also gotten deleted on my camera roll and icloud account. Shouldn't the source files stay intact? 

Specially photos from the last 5 days. I have important shoot related content and I am unable to recover it on any platforms - google, icloud, iphone. Is there any way to find these pictures?

Hello Shailvi,
 
The way to delete from Google Photos only is to delete the Google Photos app and delete the photos at https://photos.google.com/  or in bulk at https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_ where they are sorted by upload date. Check the trash and if 100% sure empty it (cannot be undone)

The camera roll photos will not be affected.
 
If you need to reinstall the app do not enable Back up & sync,
The photos will be backed up again if Backup & sync is re-enabled.
 
If your photos are not in the Apple Photos Recently delated album then I am sorry to say that they cannot be recovered from the Google servers.

Hi,

My wife address is on the contacts list, we exchange e-mail messages and share calendar items regularly.

Gmail web client does not offer my wife's address from the contacts, I have to type the full email address as a recipient like a new, at least it does not return error message and the message deliver.

In Google Photos we experience problems what we are unable to solve. If I send her the link of a shared album, she receive an invalid URL message in her Google Photos app on Android (11), while everyone else can see the content of the album. On a regular web browser she can open the link on the same mobile phone.

Unfortunately you will have to delete manually, but First check the photos are backed up to https://photos.google.com/
 
To delete a photo from the device only, there are a number of options.
  1. Delete the photo from the Apple Photos app
  2. Open the photo full screen and tap the 3 dot menu to choose Delete from device
    • You can also select multiple photos from the Photos tab and do the same
  3. Use the command to Free up space
These options will put the photos in the Apple Photos Recently Deleted folder where they will stay for 30 days or until you manually delete them.
 
Always check that photos are still visible in the app before emptying the Apple Recently deleted album

Over half of my photos have disappeared.  I have looked in archive, trash, made sure I was on the right account, and my photos are backed up.  Photos that I would never delete are gone.  This is not the first time this has happend, this is kind of the second round.  

I would really appreciate some advice, or something I could do to try and get them back.  If nothing works, then it is possible that I permanently deleted them a while ago and just didn't realize it.

You are unclear what you are doing exactly. 
If I use Gmail in my Chrome-browser and I want to add some picture, I can see the top of my library at Google Photos: 



But i can't scroll endlessly down - not further then about 100 pictures. I really have to go to my albums to be able to select older pictures. That's how it works now.

Please be more clear yourself because your pictures don't go into folders automatically unless you have create these albums yourself - but even then all stay in the stream also (at photos.google.com). 

But perhaps you are talking about the automatic collections created by Google about Places & Things etc. 
But that are no normal albums that can be shared or used in Gmail - just ignore of view incidentally.

Are you using Gmail for your email? Here's a screenshot of the same thing Rinus showed but in English in case that helps you. This is what pops up in Gmail when you click insert photo. The Photos tab is all images in your Google Photos account. There are no folders here. Albums is your Google Photos Albums which you have created. Upload will open your computer's folders to all you to select an image which is not in your Google Photos account. All computers have folders, always have.


So whether you see photos in folders or not depends on which tab you select in this dialog box. If this doesn't help, please share a screenshot of what you're seeing
