If the item is not in your trash, it may be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Steps to recover deleted photos from Trash are as follows:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app .

Welcome to Google Photos Community Support Forum & thanks for your query.

 

The Google Photos app doesn't have this feature right now. However, you can do so through another app Snapseed.

To do so, please follow these steps.

• Tao to open the photo
• Tap Edit
• Slide the menu bar with the leading tab "Suggestions" towards the left to reveal the option "More". Tap on that
• Slide the menu bar with the leading tab "Markup" to reveal the option Snap seed. However, that will be available only when you have Snap Seed installed on your phone
• Once in Snap Seed, tap on the Tools option in the bottom row,
• On the next screen, tap on "rotate"
• Now, in the bottom bar, you will see a filled and another hollow triangle juxtaposed. Tap on that.
• That will create a mirror image. Save this new edit.

welcome to the Google Photos Help Forum.

Photo or video may skip a sync when it doesn't meet our upload requirements:

• Photos can't exceed 75MB or 100 megapixels.
• Videos can't exceed 10GB.

Meanwhile, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Photos Backup & sync tool on your computer and login back with the same Google Account to check if this sorts the issue.
