Nevertheless, when you tap the delete icon in the Google Photos app, a warning appears telling you what will happen if you proceed. On your phone, that message asks, "Remove from Google account & synced devices?"

When you attempt to manually empty the trash/bin in Google Photos, another warning appears that explains the consequences of permanently deleting those pictures and videos.
If you choose to proceed anyway, there is nothing that any of the volunteers in this forum can do to help you recover your pictures.

However, you may install to your Android device a deleted photo recovery app (be sure to not pick one that requires rooting) https://play.google.com/store/search?q=recover%20deleted%20photos&c=apps;

and run a scan for anything to recover.

Have you enabled app refresh feature for google photos?

Are you on power saving mode?

Make sure the app refresh feature is enabled for Google Photos, enable auto-sync and when you're on Wi-Fi AND your phone is plugged in to a power source.

when phone is in power saving mode background upload also disabled.
