I can't rcover the GSuite account as it says Contact Domain Administrator Which is me! Every photo I have had backed up to Photos' Years and years.. The text entry utility in the Google Photos app is rudimentary.

Nevertheless, you can still try that.

To do so please follow these steps.

Tap to open the picture & tap the edit symbol
Slide the "Suggestions row" to the left to reach the option more & tap on that
Tap markup
Tap the text editor TT
Enter the text. The text will get placed in the middle. However, by entering multiple returns in the beginning, you can bring that down to the lower edge.

To bring back the pics to your phone's gallery, either, you can download photos one by one. Regrettably, there is no option to do so on a batch of photos.

Alternatively, you can install the Google One app there is a one time option to restore up to two hundred most recent photos to the device.

However, the local folder structure can not be restored.

To do so, there is no requirement to join Google One, the option is available to everyone.

However, the method may not be effective to recover something when the count is more than two hundred.

Or, you can arrange for a bulk download by visiting the link https://takeout.google.com/;

Select the Google Photos app for data download.

Once the file is ready, you will get an email. Access that & unzip all the attachments into your phone's gallery.

That will bring everything to your phone.

When everything is working, photos from each phone show up in-sync across both devices in the google photos app. About every other week, new photos taken on one of the devices stop showing up on the other. Both devices have backup and sync turned on. Both apps will show backup complete when opened.

Photos from both devices are showing up on the google photos web page, so I know they are getting uploaded properly.

I've tried the following:

-Complete phone shutdown

-signed out of the Photos app and signed back in

What works:

-reinstall the google photo app.

-Works for a few weeks, then have to reinstall again to get working

-Happens on both phones

Anyone have any ideas? It's a pain to uninstall and reinstall to get working

Nevertheless, when you tap the delete icon in the Google Photos app, a warning appears telling you what will happen if you proceed. On your phone, that message asks, "Remove from Google account & synced devices?"

When you attempt to manually empty the trash/bin in Google Photos, another warning appears that explains the consequences of permanently deleting those pictures and videos.
If you choose to proceed anyway, there is nothing that any of the volunteers in this forum can do to help you recover your pictures.

Unfortunately if the data is deleted permanently, there is nothing that any of the forum's volunteers can do to assist you in recovering your photos. However if the data is deleted temporarily , the photos and videos can be accessed from the trash folder in addition to that, the Items will be permanently deleted after 60 days from Trash.

The photos were not backed up to Google Photos.
Or, you have let the sixty days grace period to timeout
Or, you have emptied the bin inadvertently.

There is no way now to get back these pictures through Google Photos.

On most Android devices you can take a screenshot by simultaneously pressing the device's VolumeDown and Power buttons. So you can play the video in Google Photos and take a screenshot of it.

Because on some bad day, your phone falls from the bridge or got stolen or needs to be replaced or whatever. So it is a better option not to delete from Google, but to hide on Google for direct viewing by archiving: see this link
