My pictures and videos that are in my phone's gallery are also saved in my google photos. Im low on storage on my phone and I can't afford to buy an SDcard right now. So I need to free up space by deleting stuff. So If I was to delete any pictures/videos from the gallery will they also delete from my google photos? I have pics/videos of my mom, dad, my only sibling brother & my husband whom all have passed and I don't wanna loose those memories

First check if the Google-app is logged-in to the correct account under your profile right-up and if backup is switched-on and set to the same account. 
Then check on photos.google.com in the Chrome-browser for that account if everything looks present, even if you scroll down to the first pictures at the bottom. 
Thereafter go back to the app and choose Free-up space under your profile which will clean-up your phone completely, so thereafter you will see no pictures anymore in your standard Gallery, but only in the Google-app. 
If you don't like this extreme action, you need to start to delete in Gallery yourself and that will be a big job to select which ones. First delete a few unimportant ones and then check if these stay visible in the Google-app to convince yourself that it is safe to go on.

PS: if someone in you neighbourhoud is able to copy the contents to a computer, it will feel more safe to apply the free-up

The fact is that Photos can not play video files above 1080. Photos accept any size video, but above 1080 it can not give back. This service for easy storage and quickly share with whom you want, but the originals of the video it does not play in the same quality. In this way, you had better choose either the original for Drive or Youtube for these services, you can always get the quality you upload as an original

That maybe but your originals are not compressed at the source, but at Google only. 

About B&S on PC: the misleading thing is that the folders selected are fully synced with Google Drive but their contents is uploaded to Google Photos once (optionally). So later editing on your PC will reach Drive, but not Photos - only deletions will sync towards Photos also. 
So on Photos you don't see back your folders. And if these folders contain files that are not compatible with Photos, they will take storage on Drive - even if free storage is chosen (compression at Google).

First, it's not clear why do you want to delete the entire collection in Google Photos.
If you have chosen to backup in High-quality format, the pics wouldn't be occupying any space. Further, that's going to continue with the current collection unless we edit that.

Nevertheless, you can delete all the pictures at ones through the web programme.
Open the link photos.google.com on a desktop PC. Log into your account & then all the pics will be visible.
Click on the first picture. Then keep the shift key pressed & keep on scrolling down  & selecting ranges in succession. Once you reach the bottom and select the entire collection, delete those once for all.
While doing so, please ensure that you are not skipping something in between else the range selection will not work.

Usually, a selfie looks like a mirror image. Is that what you intend to say by using the term reverse?

Then, continue capturing the selfies through your rear camera & then mirror those through the Snap seed app.

Google Photos allows editing in Snap seed if the app is available on your phone.
There you will find the mirroring option under the menu "Tools" and then "Rotate". Use that & convert the conventional picture into a selfie.

But that needs a bit of training and it does not work always. 
The shots are stored as png-files in the Screenshot folder or within the Camerafolder depending your brand of phone. Good designs store in a separate folder :-)

When the photos app finds some new content, the backup action resumes immediately.
The app may say "backing up xx number of photos". However, in reality, nothing gets uploaded. The app performs a check for duplicates & skips all those.

I suggest please check whether you are finding duplicates of the picture moved to the gallery in the Google Photos app.

However, if the movement modifies some metadata, Google Photos will treat that as a new entity & backup that one.

In that also, the app will ensure to backup the pics first & then only the device copy will be touched.

On a desktop PC, right-click the photo & open the dialogue "Properties".
Then select the header "Details
Here, you can write something in the field "Title" and then click apply.
Now you can upload the same file.

It's not clear whether you wish to have a download of Google Photos on an SD card or transfer those from the internal memory of the phone to the SD card.

For the latter, you will have to use some file explorer app.
If your phone manufacturer hasn't provided anything, then you can download "File" by Google & then do the needful.

However, to transfer pics from Google Photos to an SD card, the easiest option would be arranging a download through takeout.google.com.

Visit the site & select Google Photos only for the download.
Once the files are ready, you will get an email. Access that & then unzip all the attachments on to the SD card.

  2. Tab Library
  3. Tap the desired folder under Photos on device
  4. Select photos by long pressing then tap others after the tick confirms the first selection
    • You can also long press and stroke down to select a batch
  5. Tap the 3 dot menu top right
  6. Tap Move to folder
  7. Tap New SD folder, type a folder name then tap Create
Note that if the photos are backed up to Google Photos this will not remove them from the Photos view and even if the new folder is not selected for Backup & sync any contents will still be deleted if deleted using the Google Photos app.
 
You can also change the storage options in the settings of your camera to save photos direct to the SD card

Although we can create albums grouping all the desired photos, Google photos will do the task for you automatically.
However, to see that, you will have to activate the "Group similar faces option.

To do so, please follow this sequence of steps.
Tap your profile icon
Tap Photos setting
Tap Group similar faces
Tap the slider in front of the face grouping to turn that light blue.
Then allow some time for the app to recognise the faces.
Depending upon your photos collection, that may take four to six hours.
Once available, you will see one more row through the search tab with the heading "People". 
Belive, that will fulfil your expectations.

Then allow some time for the app to recognise the faces.
Depending upon your photos collection, that may take four to six hours.
Once available, you will see one more row through the search tab with the heading "People".
