I created a photo book, and have spent some time doing so, but the account does not allow me to use Google Payments as it is a work account. Stupid me, I did realize it until after I had finished it. Is there a way that I can share the draft of what I built to my other account, that I have already shared my photos with, so that I may purchase it for Mother's Day?

It's unfortunately not possible to share a photo book draft with a different Google account. The only alternative is to re-create the photo book from the other account.

To bring back the pics to your phone's gallery either, you can download photos one by one.
Regrettably, there is no option to do so on a batch of photos.
 
Alternatively, you can install the Google One app. There is a one time option to restore up to two hundred most recent photos to the device.
However, that will not restore the local folder structure.
There is no requirement to join Google One. The option is available to everyone. 
However, the method may not be helpful to recover something when the count is more than two hundred.
 
Or, you can arrange for a bulk download by visiting the link https://takeout.google.com/.
Select the Google Photos app for data download.
Once the file is ready, you will get an email. Access that & unzip all the attachments into your phone's gallery.

Also Take-out will not restore any "albums" you may have had in your Gallery and you will get completely lost in zips so you will end-up in garbage. 
If fact you should learn to use Google Photos instead of the oldmodish Gallery which will not survive your phone at all. And in the rare case you need an old photo for some social media app, you can download that one from Photos. But Whatsapp did become more clever recently and you can reach Photos via the Gallery and then the 3 dots right-up.

Although there are multiple ways to transfer the content from the internal memory of the phone to an SD card, doing so through Google Photos allows retaining the backup and sync aspect.
Please follow the steps below to achieve the transfer.
  • Open Google Photos.
  • Tab Library.
  • Tap the desired folder under Photos on the device like Camera, Screenshots etc.
  • Select photos by long pressing then tap others after the tick confirms the first selection
  • You can also long-press and stroke down while still in a pressed condition, to select a batch.
  • Next, tap the 3 dot menu top right.
  • Tap Move to folder.
  • Tap New SD folder, type a folder name then tap Create.
Note that if the photos are backed up to Google Photos this will not remove them from the Photos, and even if the new folder is not selected for Backup & sync any contents will still be deleted if you delete that using the Google Photos app.

@Aslam - I'll be happy to help. Are you referring to deleting photos and videos from Google Photos?

Remove photos and videos:
  1. On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
  2. Place your cursor over items you want to move to trash. At the top left, click Select . You can also select multiple items. 
  3. At the top right, click Trash .
  4. To permanently delete photos and videos, click Menu Trash select the photo or video  Trash 
Know where photos do and don't get removed from before you delete photos and videos in Google Photos:

Photos and videos you delete are also removed from:Photos and videos you delete are not automatically removed from:
  • Blogger
  • YouTube
  • Gmail
  • Google+
Here's a help article to know more about deleting photos and videos in Google Photos. You would need to download all the content (photos and videos) to another storage device (like a phone, memory stick or SD card) from Google Photos, then delete them. Having done that, you can now move or transfer your photos back to Google Photos of the same account.

# Activation of data saver through the settings.

I've searched for solutions to this, & all I find are other similar posts/questions confused about exactly this: we all used to receive notifications when any new photos were added to shared albums we subscribed to. This has completely stopped; no more push notifications to my phone when my family uploads photos to a shared album, and similarly they receive no notifications when I upload photos to the same shared album.

Sometimes we receive email reminders that there are photos uploaded that we may have missed, but that's not nearly the same thing as being notified any time a family member adds new photos I may wish to view.

Before anyone asks the typical questions of 'have you checked your notification settings!' etc., I'd just like to say I work in the tech sector and I understand all these things. This is a bug or 'feature' now of Google Photos: to not bother notifying users of shared albums as to album updates.

I say 'bother' because it seems to be a trend among smartphones and apps these days: to be so careful to not bother us but rings or vibrations that we, for example, can no longer even feel phone ring vibrations because they've been mitigated so much.

Anyway, I'm curious if anyone experiences the same thing and what a solution is?

Multiple members of my family view and comment on photos I've shared, and I don't even see these comments unless I actively choose to go back into the shared album and view the activity. This is not a sensible way of working, especially for non-technology oriented parents who will never actively go back and look at the activity history of an album, and instead expect to be notified when there are new photos added by any member of the shared album.

You can either stop uploading on Google photos or you can set a setting through which only whenever you're connected to wifi it will back up.
 
Go to Google photos Click on your profile then photo settings then backup up sync cell data usage and set it to no data.

There is no solution because "Samsung" as well as Google should be banned after so many years of identical complaints. 
But if screenshots are that important for you (and not just a temporary shot for a technical discussion), they should be backupped. But they can be hided from your normal (family) pictures by archiving them.

I go to Google Photos app with signed up Google account and tap profile photo icon and tap PHOTOS SETTINGS  I find option FREE UP STORAGE SPACE IN DEVICE from original videos and photos. But when I tap it is NOT RESPONDING OR FUNCTIONING so I can't proceed further to FREE up storage space in device. Also in PLAY STORE APP when I tap profile photo icon I go to MANAGE APPS AND DEVICE and I find 4.4GB of4.6GB used.In red it is written STORAGE SPACE REACHED CRITICAL STAGE. Below in green it is written FREE UP S SPACE .On tapping I find details of Apps 3.6GB and OTHER SHOWING 728MB .But I can't proceed further as NO OPTION TO DELETE OR FREE UP SPACE is available and I am worried it may affect functioning of DEVICE /APPS. I have uninstalled all downloaded apps but no improvement in storage space. I also inserted SDCARD with 32GB but no improvement as I find option to save SOCIAL NETWORK CONTENT   to SDCARD to FREE UP DEVICE STORAGE  but below it is written NO SUPPORTED APPS.I go to INTERNAL STORAGE OF SMART MANAGER and when I tap EXPLORER to delete 725MB IN OTHER CATEGORIES I find NO OPTION to select and delete files. I select different items given there I find NO FILES written. Please investigate and rectify the problem. Also advise any steps I can take to where and how I can FREE UP DEVICE STORAGE. Apart from your too old Android, the free-up space function often does not function because of too less working space for the app because it is a very heavy task (also for a computer). 
But you can install the less demanding Google Files app and start to delete the oldest photos after convincing yourself that they are safely stored at Google via photos.google.com in the Chrome-app. 
That's the only solution - apart from setting-up a new phone with the same Gmail-account.

However, once a user deletes something permanently despite a warning message or allows the content to time out in the bin, Google doesn't maintain any backup. 
There is no way to get back the content through Google Photos.
 
Nevertheless, you may install to your Android device a deleted photo recovery app (be sure to not pick one that requires rooting) https://play.google.com/store/search?q=recover%20deleted%20photos&c=apps;
and run a scan for anything to recover.

Here in the Photos group we are all volunteers without access to anybody else's data or accounts.. I am not sure if there are people with special capabilities in the Account Help group but they are the experts on your situation.
 
It is always a good idea to store important images in more than one place / tool.  My photos are in Google Photos, on my laptop, and on multiple external disk drives (not connected to any computer or network).

Thanks for clear feedback, but it is quite strange to have 5 GB at Google already from a brand new phone - so I must assume that you are shooting 4K videos which can be several GB's per movie easily. 
So my guess is that you have a corrupt video in the stream which is hindering further backupping. 
You can't see that in the Camerafolder because that shows all items shooted sofar, but if you look on photos.google.com in the Chrome-app, you can see the last one top that get uploaded without problems and then you can check if the first more recent file is abnormal file which can't be viewed. 
Else see troubles

PS: and where are the photos from your old phone - these may use about 0 GB if most were uploaded before June 1 at high quality. If you now are using original quality, you may need to start paying for more space at Chistmas.

I would like to transfer all photos from A to B.

So I create a shared library in A. and give access to B.


And then in A, I kick the B out of the shared library.

Then log in B, I could see photos in the shared library are transferring directly to B from A. However, photos more than 2 years ago aren't there.

So I would like to know why?
