Photos I take on my android device are synced to my photos account. I generate shareable links for a google sheet that is viewed by clients. I would like those photos to be linked to my website so I need a shareable URL link for each photo. How do I generate one? Presently I can only generate a photos.app link and I need a drive.google link. If I view my photos in Drive it's extremely difficult to locate them so I would love to be able to generate one from the individual photo in photos. Help?

Why couldn't I have gone to Walgreens and picked up my 16x20 canvas print. When I ordered it there was only an option to ship for another fee not pick it up. They make them there and the smaller prints I've picked up there. They also make the 16x20's there. 
Now it's being shipped from South Carolina to Oregon!!?? It won't be here for a week.
I think I'll skip the Google photo deal and just walk into Walgreens and walk out with them . With no additional shipping fee.

You have to unlock the folder & take out the pics.
Next, upload those to Google Photos.
Once done, download those onto your new phone.
Once done, you can transfer those to locked folder on your new phone.

I strongly recommend to save (copies of) the photos also somewhere else: having them only in the locked folder is very unsafe.

I understand how important the video in Google Photos is for you and I'll be happy to help. Please try the steps mentioned below in a sequence to help resolve the issue:
Face groups is used to easily search and manage your photos. After you apply a label to someone, you can search for them using that label. 

Note: This feature is not available in all countries.

You can turn off then re-enable facial grouping; however, turning it off will delete face groups in your account, the face models used to create those face groups, and any face labels you created. To reset this setting, follow these steps:
  1. Open the Google Photos app on your mobile device or go to photos.google.com on a computer.
  2. At the top left, touch or click the menu icon  > Settings.
  3. Next to "Group similar faces," turn the switch off. 
  4. Wait a few minutes, then turn the switch on.
Searching for things and places in your photos is searching your photos for anything, example - a wedding you attended last summer, your best friend, or even New York City.

Here's a help article you can refer to, to know more about how to find people, things & places in your photos.

Have you been backing up your photos previously to Google cloud manually or automatically?

Have you checked Google photos cloud to see if your photos are there, you have to make sure you're also checking the right account where you previously backed up your photos.

I want all my photos copied to iCloud, but I would like to erase all photos from google photo and choose mainly more resent photos to copy. Hello Sophie,
 
The safest way to delete from Google Photos is to delete the Google Photos app and delete the photos at https://photos.google.com/  or in bulk at https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_ where they are sorted by upload date. Check the trash and if 100% sure empty it (cannot be undone)

The camera roll photos will not be affected.
 
If you need to reinstall the app do not enable Back up & sync,
The photos will be backed up again if Backup & sync is re-enabled.
