I've change my number several times change my email addresses my name even nothing works my privacy and my Gmail accounts are still violated my location is always tracked no matter where I go what can I do.

I noticed when viewing my pictures in the Photos app there is a 'Lens' option at the bottom right. Upon clicking it, it was saying there was a problem-non specific. Knowing how I like to keep most of Google permissions to a minimum, I went into my phones settings, turns out I didn't have the app to make more accommodating permission to. Again, there was no error code, shots in the dark on my part. So I went to the Play Store and downloaded the Google Lens app. Right away it said on the store page after downloading and fully installing it wasn't working but working on working, something to that affect. To be sure I tried again with my image scanning. I then went back to my Google photos app, pressed the lens icon to read my image. And... That's all I got, see attached images. First one upon opening photo, second after pressing the lens icon. maybe a quick over view of the necessary apps lens NEEDS permissions for would suffice. Although, any other time an app I've disallowed previously just tells me specifically what's needed next time I use it. Long story, sorry. Wanted to be thorough. Thanks if you can help ..

Hello Berny,

Welcome to the Google Photos Help Community.

Sorry to hear that your phone was stolen and I certainly understand how important those files to you. If your phone was set up to automatically back up your pictures to the cloud, then they should still be visible when you visit the Google Photos website. Could you please confirm, is the photos missing on both web version of the Google Photos (photos.google.com) and the Google Photos App as well?

Just a heads up: If the photos aren't available in photos.google.com then it looks like the photos aren't backed up properly to your Google Photos account.

Incase if your Google Photos aren't synced on your new phone, there might be a possibility that your account isn't set to sync. Go to your main mobile Settings > Accounts > your Google Account and check if the Google Photos is set to sync.

Meanwhile, as you're unable to find your photos, I'd suggest you check your internet connect and speed. Also, please check for the following things:

1. Can you see them via Picasa?
2. Are they in the trash?
3. Check the Assistant for the status of your backups.
4. Ensure you are logged in to the correct Google account.

If you see your old ones, but not the recent photos & videos then your photos and videos might still be loading. We recommend checking again in 1-2 more days.

Also, try checking the missing photos on Google Photos library. Incase, if you might have moved the photos to trash, it will not automatically removed from:
  • Blogger
  • YouTube
  • Gmail
  • Google+
If you don't find the photos, I'd recommend you look for your photos here, signing in with all your Google accounts if you have more than one.

If you still can't find your photos, then unfortunately there isn't a way to retrieve them. I'd also recommend you contact the Google Drive support team as they can restore photos up to 21 days after deletion if the photos are available in the Google Drive. You can click the "Missing or deleted files" entry of the  and request a phone call or any other option that works for you.
