Trump news on Youtube Jan 18 2019

President Trump cancelled Speaker Nancy Pelosi's government-funded trip abroad on Thursday as he slapped back at her for a request that he postpone his State of the Union address

Pelosi has been scheduled to visit Brussels and Afghanistan with other lawmakers. They were seen waiting on a bus outside the Longworth House Office Building on Capitol Hill on Thursday afternoon when White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted a letter from the president informing Pelosi that he was grounding her

Democratic legislators were left circling the U.S.Capitol amid a mad scramble to confirm details of Trump's decision to halt their military aircraft

The president said in his note to Pelosi that he was remanding her plane 'due to the shutdown' — a throwback to her request a day before that he delay his State of the Union speech until after the government reopens

A White House official insisted that the president was not exacting revenge on the Democratic leader, however, for calling on him to deliver his speech to Congress at a later date or from the White House

It came off as retaliatory, nonetheless, and Trump ally Lindsey Graham said both party leaders ought to knock it off

Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill did not comment on the politics surrounding Trump's request but noted in tweets that the trip to Afghanistan 'included a required stop in Brussels for pilot rest' that the House speaker planned to fill with NATO meetings

'The purpose of the trip was to express appreciation & thanks to our men & women in uniform for their service & dedication, & to obtain critical national security & intelligence briefings from those on the front lines,' Hammill said

Hammill pointed out that Trump traveled to Iraq on Christmas Day amid the shutdown to visit the troops

A delegation of congressional Republicans was also allowed to travel abroad, he argued

Other Democrats were quick to make the same point and to light Trump up for allowing members of his administration to use a military aircraft to fly to Davos, Switzerland

They were scheduled to attend the World Economic Forum next week, but the president called off the trip as they came under heavy scrutiny for the optics of the trip

'Out of consideration for the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay and to ensure his team can assist as needed, President Trump has canceled his Delegation's trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland,' Sanders said in an early evening statement

All congressional delegation trips have been called off, the White House confirmed, until the shutdown ceases

A White House official told DailyMail.com on Thursday afternoon that Trump sent the letter to Pelosi informing her that he was calling off her trip before Sanders distributed it

It was not clear how much of a head start the president gave the House speaker, although the official said that Trump took 'immediate action' to keep her from leaving on a military jet

'We want to keep her in Washington,' Sanders told reporters gathered outside her office

'If she leaves, she guarantees that the second round of paychecks to 800,000 federal workers won't go out

The deadline to make that deal is midnight on Tuesday. She wasn't scheduled to be back until Wednesday

The president wants her here to negotiate.' Pelosi had already called off a congressional recess amid the government shutdown, and the House was due to reconvene on Tuesday of next week

But Trump grounded her in a letter, regardless, that said he was taking the extraordinary step of postponing her trip

'Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed

We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over.'In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event is totally appropriate

I also feel that, during this period, it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me and joining the Strong Border Security movement to end the Shutdown

He added, 'Obviously, if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative

' 'I look forward to seeing you soon and even more forward to watching our open and dangerous Southern Border finally receive the attention, funding, and security it so desperately deserves!' Hammill clarified in tweets that Pelosi was never planning to travel to Egypt

Her trip was to Afghanistan by way of Brussels on a military aircraft.Flying to Afghanistan commercially is possible via Istanbul and Dubai from Washington, D

C.But it wouldn't be safe for Pelosi to go there, now, Democratic lawmakers argued

'We keep trips by government officials to war zones secret for a reason.Trump's action to publicize @SpeakerPelosi's trip literally puts the safety of members of Congress and their staff at risk,' Rep

Val Demings said in a tweet.A White House official declined to comment on the security aspect of the trip

House Intelligence chairman Adam Schiff told DailyMail.com and other reporters as he left Pelosi's office during the fiasco that he could not comment on the speaker's travel plans

'I think the president's decision to disclose a trip that the speaker is making to a war zone is completely and utterly irresponsible in every way,' he offered

On CNN, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said he was surprised that Pelosi, who had been spotted vacationing in Hawaii over Christmas break, was planning to leave the country while parts of the government were shut down

'I couldn't imagine she would even think about going,' he said.'I'm just shocked she'd even think that she would leave the country? Why would you leave the country with government shut down and you're Speaker of the House?' the lawmaker whose party just lost control of the upper chamber said

Schiff said that Trump's last-minute cancellation of lawmakers' trip was 'completely inappropriate,' especially in light of reported plans for the U

S.to withdrawal troops from Afghanistan.'The president's concern about a war zone apparently doesn't apply to a delegation of the administration going to Davos the following week,' he argued

'We got confirmation that is still planned. So, this is obviously an action directed at the speaker

And we think as far as we can tell this has never happened in the annals of history

' His criticism came before the White House announced the Davos trip was off.Schiff was among the lawmakers seen climbing down from a bus at the U

S.Capitol.The lawmaker subsequently told reporters: 'The last two years have been nothing but odd

' Republican Sen.Lindsey Graham said that both Trump and Pelosi are acting childish

'One sophomoric response does not deserve another.Speaker Pelosi's threat to cancel the State of the Union is very irresponsible and blatantly political

President Trump denying Speaker Pelosi military travel to visit our troops in Afghanistan, our allies in Egypt and NATO is also inappropriate,' the South Carolina senator said in a statement

Graham is working on a bipartisan plan to reopen the government for three weeks while the dispute with Trump over a border barrier continues

He speaks to the president frequently.'I am glad the Speaker wants to meet our troops and hear from our commanders and allies

I am very disappointed she's playing politics with the State of the Union,' he added

'I wish our political leadership could find the same desire to work for common goals as those who serve our nation in uniform and other capacities

' The White House has not formally responded to Pelosi's request that Trump postpone his joint address to Congress on Jan

29 until after the government reopens.'We'll keep you posted.Nothing's changed on that front,' Sanders said Thursday

In a campaign fundraising email after he cancelled Pelosi's trip, the president claimed that 'Democrats have illegitimately "disinvited" me from making my scheduled and VERY important State of the Union Address' as he asked for contributions

'Nancy Pelosi asked me to reschedule the State of the Union Address given the "security concerns" regarding the government shutdown

What about the REAL security concerns at our Southern Border? What about the REAL security concerns of American Citizens and their loved ones?' he asked

Pelosi did not rescind her invitation to him to deliver remarks to Congress this month in the House chamber, although that is how it was widely interpreted, including by her second-in command, Steny Hoyer

A senior White House official called the request 'petty' in an email to DailyMail

com on Wednesday.Trump called off her congressional delegation trip, known as a CoDel, in a letter to the speaker on Thursday

An official who briefed reporters after insisted, 'It's not a response to that.' Lawmakers in both political parties begged to differ

Republicans and Democrats continued to exchange rhetorical fire on Thursday over whether or not the Secret Service can handle the January 29 event given that officers and agents are working without pay

Pelosi cited security in her request that President Trump postpone the event during the partial government shutdown

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen insisted her agency is up to the task

House Democratic leader Steny Hoyer fired back that with the Secret Service lacking shutdown-furloughed support staff, Congress shouldn't take any chances

Hoyer had already mangled his party's messaging by appearing to say on CNN that the annual spectacle had already been called off

He said that as long as the federal government is in the midst of a partial shutdown, Trump won't be welcome to deliver the speech to a Joint Session of Congress as scheduled

He told DailyMail.com after the CNN interview that Speaker Nancy Pelosi's refusal 'to plan business as usual' applied 'when the government of the country is partially shut down

' Pelosi wrote to Trump on Wednesday, asking him to delay his speech but not formally disinviting him

A Hoyer spokesperson said in an email that 'Mr.Hoyer had not read Speaker Pelosi's letter and mischaracterized it' on CNN

Hoyer had appeared to misinterpret Pelosi's meaning in saying on the air that she wouldn't allow Trump to insist on keeping the January 29 date rather than rescheduling

'No,' he said.'Our response will be, Mr.President, if you want to open up the government, the Senate has seven bills that it can use

' Pelosi, a California Democrat, cited 'security concerns' amid the government shutdown that has lasted longer than any other federal closure in history

She asked him to wait to speak to a Joint Session of Congress until the dispute that limits the functionality of the Department of Homeland Security has been resolved

She wrote in her letter that no president has ever delivered a State of the Union speech in the midst of a shutdown

'This requires hundreds of people working on the logistics and on the security of it,' she told reporters at the Capitol

'Most of those people are either furloughed or are victims of the president's shutdown

' Pelosi had already invited Trumpto address the House and Senate, per tradition, on Jan

29 — a date that the White House accepted — when she took office on Jan.3.Republicans noted in the aftermath that the government was shut down at the time of the invitation

Trump took a slap at Pelsoi in a Thursday speech before he sent the letter as he claimed that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is 'groveling,' but the House leader is refusing appeals to end to the government shutdown, because she's beholden to the radical left

He said in a national security speech that Pelosi will not let lawmakers work with him to come to a border security solution

'The party has been hijacked by the open borders fringe within the party, the radical left, becoming the radical Democrats,' he said

'Hopefully Democrat lawmakers will step forward to do what is right for our country, and what's right for our country is border security at the strongest level

' He added: 'Stop human hijacking, stop drugs, stop gangs, stop criminals. That's what we're gonna do

That was my pledge, and that's what we're going to do.' Until then, the federal government will remain shutdown because congressional Democrats refuse to approve border security, he said

'We're going to have border security. It's going to be tight. It's going to be strong

We're going to let people into our country gladly, but they're going to come in legally,' he contended

The president brought up the situation at the southern border during a speech on his Missile Defense Review at the Pentagon

'I would like to briefly address another matter of critical national security, the humanitarian and security crisis at our southern border,' he said leading into his daily pitch for a border wall

'Without a strong border, America's defenseless, vulnerable and unprotected.' He thanked the military for 'helping us out during the big caravan period' as he made reference to another group of Central American migrants that has reportedly formed

'Thousands and thousands of people. We don't know where they're from, who they are, nothing,' he asserted

'We need strong borders. We need strong barriers and walls.Nothing else is going to work

Everyone knows it.Everybody's saying it now.Just a question of time.' Yesterday, the No

2 Democrat in the House, Rep.Steny Hoyer, admitted that walls 'obviously' work sometimes and that the barrier is not 'immoral' on its face

Rep.Katie Hill, a California Democrat, has also said a physical barrier like Trump wants could be effective

'While many Democrats in the House and the Senate would like to make a deal, Speaker Pelosi will not let them negotiate,' Trump said of the status of the shutdown

'The part has been hijacked by the open borders fringe.' Trump said earlier in a tweet that had no apparent connection to any news story, but appeared to be about immigration: 'The Left has become totally unhinged

They no longer care what is Right for our Countrty!' The president misspelled the word 'country' in the message

He did not send out a corrected version of the tweet. He went on to bash Schumer, the Senate Democratic leader, in a tweet for 'groveling' for another meeting at the White House

Trump walked out of their last one, and hasn't spoke to the party leader since.Schumer offered to come back to the table as he spoke to reporters on Tuesday, if Trump will have him

'I'll meet with him anytime he wants. As you know, the last I spoke with him was when he walked out, threw a temper tantrum and walked out, so we haven't heard from him since then

' Schumer's office did not have a comment on the president's tweet. The senator has not commented, either, on the CoDel cancellations

The argument over military-supported trips is part of a broader fight the president is waging right now against Democrats who will not give him the $5

7billion he's demanding for his border wall.He has overseen a partial government shutdown for nearly a month over their refusal to approve the funds

Trump's Justice Dept Nominee Ran an HIV Concentration Camp: Jan 18 Debrief - Duration: 2:31.

There's been another wave of violence against gay men in Chechnya, with dozens kidnapped,

at least two deaths, and continued American inaction.

Anti-gay activists in the Netherlands imported a homophobic statement from the US, but the

reaction hasn't exactly been warm.

Trump's nominee to run the justice department once ran a concentration camp for people with

HIV.

And Missouri Republicans are fighting to make it as easy as possible to fire queer workers.

We'll have the week's top LGBTQ news and actions you can take on Weekly Debrief.

There's brand new rewards for 2019, including buttons and stickers!

new backer rewards.

Alarming news from Chechnya this week -- in the last month government forces have kidnapped

at least forty gay men and killed two.

It's a brand new wave of violence against queer people, two years after reports of concentration

camps first emerged.

Nonprofits are working to get people out of the country, but diplomatic response from

other countries has been mild or nonexistent.

In the Netherlands, a small group of conservative politicians has signed a statement condemning

queer people.

It's a word-for-word copy of the Nashville Statement in the US.

But unlike in the United States, there's been a strong backlash against the move, with

various towns and leaders expressing support for queer citizens.

Thanks to viewer Vera de Kok for bringing this one to my attention.

Here in the US, William Barr, Trump's nominee to run the Justice Department testified before

the Senate Judiciary Committee.

You will be shocked to hear that Barr is awful.

Back in the early 90s, he oversaw a concentration camp for HIV positive refugees that was found

to be so abusive it was unconstitutional.

He praised Jeff Sessions for undermining protections for LGBTQ people.

He called homosexuality immoral.

He's pretty much as bad as you expect.

In Ohio, the governor has signed an order providing limited job protections for state

workers, which is at least a start.

But in Missouri, House Republicans blocked attempts at protecting staffers for being

fired over their sexual orientation.

This week's action item: It's clear that a stronger international response is needed

to stop the anti-gay purge in Chechnya.

Trump postpones U.S. House Speaker Pelosi's overseas trip amid shutdown - Duration: 2:14.

let's start our world news in the United States lots going on there as per usual

President Trump has postponed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's upcoming overseas

trip in an apparent payback for asking her asking him to reschedule his State

of the Union speech which was set for later this month for more on this and

other news from around the world let's turn as we always do tour now in

Amsterdam more arguments and heated words between the pair who clearly don't

see eye-to-eye on many things at all this all coming amid the ongoing

government shutdown that's why more the stalemate continues and by the looks of

things seems to be getting worse in fact Trump wrote a letter to Pelosi on

Thursday saying that her trip to Belgium Egypt and Afghanistan was being pushed

back due to what he called the government shutdown he also called her

upcoming trip a public relations event that would be rescheduled for after the

government reopens but he added that Pelosi could take a commercial flight

rather than a military one if she so wished the president's letter came just

a day after Pelosi urged him to postpone his State of the Union address citing

the shutdown lawmakers blasted Trump for revealing Pelosi s overseas trip House

Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said the president was being

irresponsible not going to comment on the speakers travel plans frankly

there has been far too much said about that all right already and I think the

president's decision to disclose that Rick Miller speakers making food a war

zone was completely and utterly irresponsible in every way policy

spokesman meanwhile said the speaker strip was intended to express

appreciation to US troops and reaffirm America's commitment to NATO the US

lawmakers usually don't publicize upcoming foreign trips for security

reasons the speaker normally uses a military plane which Trump of course has

control of as commander-in-chief

Trump's inauguration promises, two years later - Duration: 5:33.

I'm so tired of politicians.

It's about time we finally have an executive to be chief executive of the country.

Welcome to the inauguration of the 45th president.

I think he is going to help seriously bring the jobs back.

I Donald John Trump do solemnly swear

I think Trump can make it safer for the new generation of kids.

That's why Mr. Trump is gonna fix this.

Congratulations Mr. President.

In January 2017, Trump supporters came in droves to watch their candidate's inauguration.

They had high hopes for what the businessman-turned-politician could accomplish in the White House.

Fellow Americans and people of the world, thank you.

Halfway through his term, How has the commander-in-chief's inaugural vision fared?

We will bring new roads and highways and bridges and railways all across our wonderful nation.

After several 'infrastructure weeks' came and went,

Trump finally published a 1.5 trillion dollar infrastructure plan in February of 2018.

The plan was Dead on Arrival in the GOP controlled Congress,

as Democrats and Republicans sparred over how to pay for the investment.

Two years into Trump's presidency, infrastructure is still being teased

as a potential point of compromise between the White House and Democrats.

This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.

During Trump's first year office, nearly 40,000 people died from guns, the highest level in 50 years.

While homicides don't account for the sudden increase,

2017 also saw the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

A few months later, a shooting at Parkland High School in Florida launched a new youth driven movement,

which mobilized over two million people from around the country to protest

for common sense gun control measures.

However, no major action has been taken at the national level to end gun violence.

We will bring back our jobs, we will bring back our borders.

We will bring back our wealth and we will bring back our dreams.

Manufacturing jobs in America have been steadily rising since 2010.

The rate of increase has remained consistent under Trump's administration.

The coal industry, which Trump pledged to revitalize,

saw more mines close in his first two years than Obama's entire first term.

And Trump's trade war with China put tremendous strain on farmers.

The soybean business experienced especially devastating effects.

The industry suffered a 98% decline in exports.

For too long a small group in our nation's capital has reaped the rewards of government

while the people have borne the cost.

Washington flourished but the people did not share in its wealth.

At the end of his first year in office, Trump signed a 1.5 trillion dollar tax bill

that featured tax exemptions for the super wealthy,

and cut the corporate tax rate more than any other tax bill in history.

The CBO estimates the tax cuts will add $1.9 trillion to the national deficit over the next 10 years.

Deficits mean interest and that line item will get larger and larger, while revenue is down thanks to the tax cuts.

In a decade, interest on the debt will eat up 13% of government spending

surpassing Medicaid and defense.

Taxpayers will bear the brunt of that cost as the government decides: raise taxes or cut services.

McConnell has already threatened crucial programs like Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security.

When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.

Although far right extremism gained steam under Obama,

it grew exponentially after Trump became president.

Violence by white supremacists and far-right attackers has surged since Trump took office.

An education system flush with cash,

but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of all knowledge.

In every budget proposal, the president tried to slash the Education department's funding levels.

Congress instead increased the Education Department's funding by half a billion dollars

to get the Democrats' vote.

In his inaugural address, Trump talked about his vision for rebuilding the country.

We will make America strong again,

we will make America wealthy again,

we will make America safe again.

But when you dig into his first two years in office

Together we will make America great again.

Has he?

How Trump's AG pick understands obstruction - Duration: 1:47.

You wrote on page one that a president persuading a person to commit perjury would be obstruction.

Is that right?

Yes.

If there was some reason to believe that the president tried to coach somebody not to testify or testify falsely,

that could be obstruction of justice?

Yes. Under that -- under an obstruction statute, yes.

You also said that a president or any person convincing a witness to change testimony would be obstruction.

Is that right?

Yes.

If there is some evidence that the president tried to conceal evidence

that would be obstruction of justice, potentially, right?

Right.

People don't understand what the word corruptly means in that statute.

It meant to influence it in a way that changes something that good and fit to something bad and unfit,

namely, the corruption of evidence or the corruption of the decision-maker.

And it is not your intention to change --

No, it's not my intention.

Department policy or department standards or department definitions,

particularly as they may bear on obstruction by the president or people around him.

That's right.

Thank you.

White House could ask Mitch McConnell to invite Trump for State of the Union address - Duration: 6:12.

The White House is entertaining the idea of asking Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to formally invite President Trump to deliver his State of the Union address later this month, after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she wants the speech postponed until after the partial government shutdown ends

McConnell's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.CBS News first reported the behind-the-scenes discussions

The State of the Union address is traditionally delivered before a Joint Session of Congress in the cavernous House chamber, but presidents beginning with Thomas Jefferson sent their annual updates in writing

It wouldn't be unprecedented to make the speech to Congress in the space where senators meet

George Washington and John Adams both did it, in the Senate Chamber of Federal Hall in New York City where the U

S.government was headquartered at the time.Pelosi and her chief deputy, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, sparred with the White House on Wednesday over whether this year's speech should go on as planned while Secret Service agents are working without pay and support staff levels are slashed by the shutdown

A Republican Senate aide pointed out to DailyMail.com on Wednesday night that Pelosi invited Trump on January 3, nearly two weeks after the shutdown began

The Senate chamber in the Capitol building is a cramped space compared to the House chamber, with 100 desks instead of more than 440 leather seats

Its gallery spaces are also a tiny fraction as large. It's unclear if Democrats would choose to attend, but the tradition of giving each member of Congress an extra ticket for a guest would 'certainly have to be abandoned,' the Senate aide said

Hoyer appeared to say Wednesday, after Pelosi wrote to Trump adking for a postponement, that the speech had been canceled entirely

He walked it back minutes later.Hoyer declared 'the State of the Union is off,' but meant that only if the shutdown isn't over

She had written that no president has ever delivered a State of the Union speech while the federal government wasn't fully functioning

'This requires hundreds of people working on the logistics and on the security of it,' she told reporters at the Capitol

'Most of those people are either furloughed or are victims of the president's shutdown

' Pelosi seemed to favor an alternative: 'He can make it from the Oval Office.' Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said the Secret Service is capable of shouldering the load

'The Department of Homeland Security and the US Secret Service are fully prepared to support and secure the State of the Union,' she tweeted

'We thank the Service for their mission focus and dedication and for all they do each day to secure our homeland

' House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told reporters that he doesn't believe Pelosi's claim that security concerns prompted her to write her letter to the president

'It's not a security issue, it's politics and she knows it,' McCarthy said.A senior White House official told DailyMail

com: 'McCarthy is right. This is petty.' The official asked: 'Will you note that Pelosi lied about DHS capabilities ?' The White House did not formally respond to a request for comment about Pelosi's letter

BREAKING TRUMP DROPS THIS FINAL B0MBSHELL ON ROBERT MUELLER - Duration: 15:16.

BREAKING TRUMP DROPS THIS FINAL B0MBSHELL ON ROBERT MUELLER

It is clear that Robert Mueller's entire investigation is nothing more than a witch

hunt.

While he is eager to demonize Trump and those close to him, he has been extremely close

with some of the shadiest people in America.

And Mueller may be about to grant the shadiest man in America immunity.

There are few people in America who are shadier than the Podesta brothers.

John Podesta has long been seen as one of the closest people to both Hillary Clinton

and Barack Obama, with his brother Tony being heavily involved in politics as well.

That's why the Podestas are extremely valuable to Robert Mueller.

Their clear anti-Trump agenda makes them prime sources to provide dirt on the President and

his campaign.

And as it turns out, Tony Podesta is seen as a valuable resource to harm Trump's former

campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

In a strange bedfellow relationship, both Tony and Manafort were involved in helping

a non-profit group support then-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in 2012.

Manafort's consulting firm led the effort, while Tony Podesta worked alongside him.

It is that effort that has caused Manafort to be indicted on numerous charges of conspiracy

and fraud.

While this effort had nothing to do with Trump's campaign, which has been admitted by Mueller,

it is still being used to harm Manafort.

It is almost certainly being pursued solely because of Manafort's involvement with Trump's

campaign, highlighted by the fact that the allegations were not made public until the

special counsel investigation began.

Podesta's involvement gives Robert Mueller interest in getting answers from him.

That's why, according to claims made by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Mueller has

offered immunity to Podesta.

"Tonight we can report exclusively based on two separate sources we spoke to today

that Tony Podesta has been offered immunity by Robert Mueller to testify against Paul

Manafort," Carlson stated.

These claims have not been independently verified, but Carlson has been a reliable source on

many matters related to President Trump.

Carlson has long been a close ally to President Trump and has been the source of reliable

information on many scandals related to Trump.

Not only did Carlson drop this bombshell, he exposed the double standard that this proves.

It positively proves just how one-sided the special counsel investigation is.

The crimes alleged against Manafort are near identical to the ones alleged against Podesta,

according to Carlson.

Despite that, Podesta, who is a friend of Bill and Hillary Clinton, is given the opportunity

to come out with no punishment, while Manafort risks rotting in jail.

Not only will Podesta get the opportunity to walk away without punishment, he will also

have the opportunity to harm a political opponent.

If Manafort is found guilty of the crimes alleged against him, it will be harmful to

President Trump.

It doesn't matter that the charges alleged against Manafort are not related to Trump

in any way, the media will play it as a major victory in the witch hunt against the president.

Instead of accurately reporting, they will make it seem as though Manafort's guilt

is proof of corruption in the Trump campaign.

Do you think Tony Podesta should be granted immunity?

DONALD TRUMP GAVE ROBERT MUELLER THE WORST NEWS POSSIBLE, IT'S OVER - Duration: 15:01.

DONALD TRUMP GAVE ROBERT MUELLER THE WORST NEWS POSSIBLE, IT'S OVER

Robert Mueller's Russia investigation has been going on for far too long.

For over a year, Mueller's investigation has served to do nothing but create division.

That's why President Trump just cornered Mueller and dropped a demand he's going

to hate.

With Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia collusion investigation officially in its

second year, there has been more speculation than ever that the probe will be coming to

an end.

Even some Democrats have been forced to admit that it should come to an end sooner rather

than later.

But Mueller himself doesn't seem to have an end date in sight.

He has continued to push forward with the investigation like it just began yesterday.

That's why President Donald Trump hired on former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani

to represent him.

Giuliani has used his no-nonsense strategy to get the important questions surrounding

Mueller's investigation answered.

Giuliani also recently stated that he expects the Russia probe to end by September of this

year, something that Mueller has neither confirmed nor denied.

But President Trump has officially put an offer on the table that could force Mueller

to end his investigation by September, or perhaps sooner.

President Trump knows the one thing that Mueller wants more than anything is an interview with

him.

Mueller has been pushing for an interview with the President for many months, but Trump

has wisely declined.

While an interview could serve to clear President Trump's name, it could also be used to create

more controversy for the President.

If Mueller tricks the President into saying something untrue, or into stretching the truth,

that could lead towards a perjury trial against the President, even if Trump never meant to

perjure himself.

So in short, there was much more for Mueller and the Democrats to gain by interviewing

the President than Trump had to gain.

That's why he has refused to interview so far.

But Trump has chosen to give Mueller the opportunity to interview him.

But there are strings attached.

If Mueller agrees with Trump's terms, and interviews him, Mueller must close his investigation

two months after the interview.

Depending on when the interview occurs, that could lead towards the investigation coming

to a close before September starts.

A September end date is important because of the November midterms occurring just a

month later.

If the Russia investigation report shows that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign

and Russia, it would be good news for Republicans aligned with the President facing elections.

Democrats are planning to use Mueller's Russia probe as a weapon in the election.

That will become impossible if the report compiled by Mueller shows that he wasted the

last year looking for collusion that never occurred.

That is a likely outcome considering that Mueller has not released any substantial evidence

proving that collusion occurred.

The only "smoking gun" that Mueller has uncovered was the Trump Tower meeting between

Donald Trump Jr., Trump's then-campaign manager Paul Manafort, and a Russian lawyer.

The meeting turned out to be a "nothing burger," proven by the fact that Mueller

never even spoke to the Russian lawyer in question.

Trump has the possibility to end this investigation before it can be weaponized by Democrats,

and may succeed.

Do you think Robert Mueller should end his investigation before the November midterm

elections?
