Trump news on Youtube Jan 21 2019

Presenter: Next is the question from Artem and Victor connected with the meeting of Henry Kissinger with Donald Trump:

"Recently, a huge number of various publications and analysts are discussing this meeting.

It is pointed out that already the 95-year-old participant of the Bilderberg Club introduced the concept of a new foreign policy strategy to Donald Trump.

Its essence boils down to intensifying Russian-American relations and provoking a split between Moscow and Beijing.

If in the 1970s and 1980s, Kissinger advised to use China to isolate the USSR,

now he advises doing the opposite: he suggested that Trump cooperates with Russia to curb China's growing power.

Why is this happening?

And why was Henry Kissinger wanted for this? And what changes should we expect in US foreign policy?"

Valeriy Pyakin: Henry Kissinger is 95 years old, and the old man still cannot calm down.

He flies around the world, meets with leaders of states.

This suggests that the Global Predictor has serious problems with the personnel base

and that a person at that age cannot be allowed to rest, and he is forced to engage himself in governing processes of global significance level.

Kissinger meets Trump much more often, only it is not always made public.

Kissinger meets [with him] before all sorts of momentous events, when Trump needs to do something, take some kind of step.

And only those [meetings] are announced which require some kind of additional support to Trump's decision.

If we talk about the opposition in the triangle Russia, China and the United States,

then I should note that here the confrontation finished in the second half of the 20th century: first the Soviet Union and China against the United States,

then United States and China against the Soviet Union, then the Soviet Union with the United States against China.

And all this was happening depending on what kind of governing task had to be solved

to create a center of governance concentration in China — even then, the future center of governance concentration was being created in China

to replace the Euro-Atlantic block, which is now [located] in Great Britain and the United States.

What I mean is that each such union allows [the following]: if you are an ally,

[then] you can receive some kind of support, information, technology, etc. from this block,

and if you are in some kind of opposition, then you can all this knowledge, skills, resources, etc. bring to an autonomous level of functioning.

And as a result of this…

There is a saying: "With such a friend one needs no enemies."

What was happening?

Both the Soviet Union and the United States gave China technology and developed [it].

So, for example, nuclear weapons were given to China by two countries: the Soviet Union and the United States each executed their own block.

And China always grows in this case: whoever it has as an ally, it always grows.

But when the United States is an ally of Russia, Russia (the Soviet Union) always goes into decline ("With such a friend one needs no enemies"),

that is, the USA constantly keeps impeding, impeding and impeding Russia.

To let China grow further, the United States became shackles for the Soviet Union (Russia).

This algorithm has been functioning all the time since the creation of a governance concentration centre represented by China entered the active phase.

Kissinger carries out this [algorithm].

And, accordingly, the friendship between the United States and Russia is all about getting all the dividends from Russia, imposing its policy on Russia, slowing it down.

And while Russia is turning towards the United States (doing something [for] allied relations), at certain points the alignment of interests with China begins to fail.

This allows China to be fully controlled by the Euro-Atlantic block of the Global Predictor,

[and enables] turning China into a governing center without the influence of Russia.

And Russia in its turn is being prepared for absorption, dismemberment and creation of numerous souvenir states united by the "New Silk Road" on its territory.

Here any union is anti-Russian. Kissinger as well as Trump always offers an anti-Russian solution to the problem.

So, there is nothing that we haven't faced yet and the 20th century shows us all of it. Been there, done that.

Donald Trump thanks government employees working without being paid during record federal shutdown - Duration: 15:49.

President Donald Trump tweeted a thank you to the federal workers who have been working without pay, while his government shutdown rages on

'To all of the great people who are working so hard for your Country and not getting paid I say, THANK YOU - YOU ARE GREAT PATRIOTS!' Trump tweeted on Saturday

'We must now work together, after decades of abuse, to finally fix the Humanitarian, Criminal & Drug Crisis at our Border

WE WILL WIN BIG!' Trump, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer remain at odds over Trump's requested $5

7billion to fund a border wall, which has delayed the passing of a spending bill that would reopen government The Republican-controlled Senate, however, could cooperate with House Democrats to bring the shutdown to an end, but Majority Leader Mitch McConnell won't allow it

After tweeting his thanks, Trump posted a message from his son, Donald Trump, Jr.which was first tweeted on Saturday

Don Jr.wrote: 'Maybe the left will one day stop trying desperately to destroy my family and especially @realDonaldTrump

Till then they will keep failing miserably while also undermining themselves and our democracy

' Before that, Trump retweeted and quote-tweeted others in praise of himself, as well as one post from First Lady Melania Trump

'A truly great First Lady who doesn't get the credit she deserves!' Trump commented, while quoting his wife, who posted, 'It has been an unforgettable two years in the @WhiteHouse

I am honored to serve this great nation! [American flag emoji].' Melanie shared the post on the second anniversary of Trump's inauguration

Trump also retweeted anniversary messages from the official White House account, Vice President Mike Pence and Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel

Pence wrote on Sunday: 'Honored to serve as @POTUS Trump's Vice President these past two years, working to deliver historic results for the American people - an economic boom, rolling back red tape, rebuilding our military & restoring American leadership on the world stage

PROMISES MADE, PROMISES KEPT!' McDaniel wrote: 'So many accomplishments from @realDonaldTrump and his administration over the past two years!' Trump also quoted a tweet by Casino star James Woods from Saturday, thanking Woods for praising the president for a proposal to extend temporary protections for 'Dreamers,' in exchange for border wall funding

'Dreamers' are people who were brought to the US illegally as children, and were previously protected under the Obama administration's DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) initiative

Trump announced the end of DACA in September 5, 2017, but that's been legally challenged

While new applications are not currently being accepted, 'renewal applications are still being accepted for those who currently have DACA or have had DACA in the past, even if it's already expired,' according to iAmerica

org.'But things are changing quickly. So if you or someone you know is a DACA recipient and have not yet renewed their DACA status, it is important to apply for renewal now,' the site has warned

Rubio wrote: '.@POTUS offers to support two bills sponsored by Dems in exchange for Border Security & the instant reaction from Dem leaders is No

Because denying him a win on border matters more to them than paying fed workers or 3 yrs of certainty for TPS & DACA recipients

' Another retweet by Trump welcomed new senators to the Senate Budget Committee. The agencies that are affected by the shutdown right now are the Environmental Protection Agency, the IRS, and the departments of State, Housing and Urban Development; Treasury; Agriculture; Commerce; Interior; Justice; and Homeland Security, and funding for food stamps will run out in March

For now, the military (aside from the US Coast Guard) and the departments of Veterans Affairs; Labor; Education; and Health and Human Services are not impacted, as they are being funded by a spending bill that doesn't expire until September 30

US Coast Guard members were spotted on Saturday at a food back in California, where they were being provided with free groceries

A similar site could be seen in Virgina, as hundreds of volunteers and recipients gathered at the Help for Hampton Roads Coast Guard Families food drive, sponsored by the Chief Petty Officer Association, in Chesapeake, to beneit families affected by the shutdown

Republican lawmakers close to the White House have ventured a guess that it will take Transportation Security Administration employees calling out sick and leaving 'American furious about their flights' to bring an end to the stalemate, the Washington Post's Robert Costa tweeted on Tuesday

TSA closed one of three security checkpoints at the main airport in Maryland until further notice due to staffing issues created by the government shutdown

'Yesterday, TSA began exercising a contingency plan at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport due to excessive callouts,' the agency announced in a press release on Sunday

'Checkpoint A was closed at 5.35pm and will continue to be until further notice.Passengers should arrive early and check with the airport and airlines for updates

' The BWI airport said it expected 'minimal, if any' problems for passengers due to the indefinite closure of at least one checkpoint, thanks to agents missing work while they are not being paid due to the shutdown

Nationwide, TSA administrator David Pekoske has said many staff employees are calling out of work because they can't afford to get there

On Saturday, TSA experienced a national rate of eight percent of unscheduled absences compared to a three percent rate one year ago on the same day, TSA said in its statement on Sunday

'TSA officers are resilient during this time, yet there is a rise in callouts from officers who say they are not able to report to work due to financial reasons,' Pekoske tweeted on Thursday

'I understand this and where necessary, we will exercise contingency plans using the resources & staff available

' Meanwhile, the Internal Revenue Service is recalling about 46,000 of its employees furloughed by the government shutdown to handle tax returns and pay out refunds, but won't be paying the workers

With the official start of the tax filing season coming on January 28, Trump's administration has promised that taxpayers owed refunds will be paid on time, despite the disruption in government services caused by the record-breaking partial shutdown

There had been growing concern that the shutdown would delay refunds worth hundreds of billions of dollars because the money wouldn't be available for them from Congress

But last week, the administration said customary shutdown policies will be reversed to make the money available to pay refunds on time

And at least for now, it's going to take unpaid labor from 60 percent of the IRS's work force to get that ball rolling

An IRS document detailing its new shutdown plan shows that 46,052 agency employees will be called back to work, of the total workforce of 80,265, to help ensure people don't have to wait longer than expected for those checks

Only about 10,000 IRS employees had previously been deemed essential and have been working

Democrats say they will discuss border security once the government has reopened, but Pelosi is refusing money for the wall that Democrats view as ineffective and immoral

Trump and Jim Inhofe had a very meta moment over social media on Sunday. The president previously quoted Inhofe saying 'It's the Democrats keeping everything closed,' which Inhofe then quote-tweeted reaffirming the statement, and then Trump retweeted that tweet

Republicans actually could choose to work with Democrats on their own, without the president, to pass a funding bill

McConnell, one of the Republican US Senators for the state of Kentucky, has now twice blocked a bill that had had passed in the Democratic-majority-controlled House which aimed to reopened all aspects of government, this second time except for the Department of Homeland Security

McConnell has noted that he won't allow anything to come to a vote in the Senate that won't ultimately be signed into law by Trump, or that he says won't pass the Senate

'The Senate will not waste its time considering a Democratic bill, which cannot pass this chamber and which the president will not sign,' McConnell said before the Senate on January 2, a mere 12 days into the shutdown

What McConnell didn't say is that the House and Senate could override a veto by Trump on a budget bill, but it would require a two-thirds vote in both bodies

And McConnell has exclusive control over what goes to a vote on the Senate floor, under its current rules

'Under the rules of the Senate, McConnell can control which legislation reaches the floor, and he has chosen not to allow a vote on any bill that Trump would veto,' Amanda Frost, Professor of Law at American University Washington College of Law, told WUSA9's Verify team

'McConnell also refused to allow hearings or a vote on Obama's supreme court nominee

The Senate can change its rules anytime, but there is nothing unconstitutional about creating them and abiding by them

' The federal government has been partially shut down since December 22, making Monday the 31st day that approximately 800,000 federal employees have been either required to work without pay for the time being, or be furloughed

Congress has already passed a bill that guarantees that federal workers who are still showing up to their jobs without pay will be paid for their work once the shutdown ends

The previous longest-lasting government shutdown in history happened at the end of 1995 and beginning of 1996, lasting 21 days under President Bill Clinton

Trump warns people to stay inside during winter storm and mocks global warming - Duration: 8:58.

President Donald Trump used the weekend's winter storm to mock global warming on Twitter as he warned citizens to stay inside

'Be careful and try staying in your house.Large parts of the Country are suffering from tremendous amounts of snow and near record setting cold,' the president tweeted Sunday morning

'Amazing how big this system is.Wouldn't be bad to have a little of that good old fashioned Global Warming right now!' he added

The storm is bringing some of the coldest temperatures of the season as it tracked east Saturday evening into Sunday morning

Trump has famously said in the past that he doesn't believe in climate change. In October, the president said during a visit to inspect hurricane damage in the southern state of Georgia that climate change 'is going to go back and forth,' rather than be permanent

Trump has conflated short-term weather patterns with longer-term climate change before, even though the White House's own National Climate Assessment rejects the idea that a particular plunge in temperatures can cast uncertainty on whether Earth is warming

That report, issued in November, said climate change 'is transforming where and how we live and presents growing challenges to human health and quality of life, the economy, and the natural systems that support us'

However, Trump said at the time that he didn't believe it.'I don't believe it.I've seen it, I've read some of it, and it's fine,' he added

He also seemed to push the blame to other nations, saying the US is 'the cleanest we've ever been'

'And here's the other thing, you're going to have to China and Japan and all of Asia and all of these other countries, you know, it addresses our country

Right now we're the cleanest we've ever been. And that's very important to me.But if we're clean, but every other place on Earth is dirty, that's not so good, so I want clean air, I want clean water, very important,' he said

A day later, Trump reiterated those claims and said: 'One of the problems that a lot of people like myself, we have very high levels of intelligence but we're not necessarily such believers

' 'As to whether or not it's man-made and whether or not the effects that you're talking about are there, I don't see it,' he said at the time

In December, another report revealed that Trump is threatening to derail climate change efforts with his persistent denial of global warming

Since becoming president in 2016 he has pulled the US out of the international Paris Agreement on attempting to bring down global temperatures, and torn up a raft of environmental protection laws, saying the US economy needs the boost

Pulling the US from the Paris Agreement opened the flood gates as several others, including Russia and Turkey, followed his lead

Trump removed the US, the second greatest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the world, from the Paris Agreement as one of his first major presidential acts

One expert published a study and said that the withdrawal of the US from the 2015 Paris Agreement as well as Trump's ill-informed remarks on climate change could have long-lasting and severe ramifications

Trump has long said he distrusts the consensus by nearly all the world's respected climate scientists on the link between human activity and rising temperatures, as well as other damaging climate change phenomena

The president's remarks on Sunday came as the winter storm that has brought some of the coldest temperatures of the season covered a large swath of the US in snow

Nearly 5,000 flights were canceled Sunday around the country, with Boston Logan Airport being one of the hardest hit, according to FlightAware, a flight tracking company

The National Weather Service issued winter storm warnings or advisories for part or all of at least 15 states stretching from southeast Missouri to the northern tip of Maine

The storm was caused by the clash of an Arctic high pressure system with a low pressure system coming through the Ohio Valley, said National Weather Service meteorologist Dan Hofmann

'It happens that this one is going through a relatively high population area,' Hofmann said

Parts of northern New England could see up to two feet of snow, which will be followed Sunday night by bitter cold and wind chills as low as 35 below zero in parts of Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire

Parts of upstate New York got up to 11 inches of snow overnight, according to the Weather Channel

Many major cities like New York City and Boston were spared major snowfall.Earlier, the system dumped up to 10 inches of snow on parts of the Midwest Saturday

No injuries were reported on the United Airlines flight as it arrived from Phoenix, Chicago Fire officials said

In Kansas, a snowplow driver was killed when the plow drove onto the shoulder of a road and rolled over, throwing him under the vehicle

It wasn't clear why the driver had moved to the shoulder from the roadway.A 15-vehicle crash on slippery roads blocked a section of Interstate 55 in southeastern Missouri near Ste

Genevieve Saturday afternoon and drivers were urged to find an alternative route. In Detroit, many motorists were moving well below posted speed limits along freeways due to slushy conditions

Amtrak canceled some trains Saturday from Chicago to Washington and New York and between New York and Boston and Pennsylvania on Sunday

As the storm system moves east, the frigid Arctic air behind it was expected to envelop many parts of the Midwest where it had just snowed

Trump Is Withdrawing From NATO "Under Putin's Orders" (Ruslan Ostashko) - Duration: 5:41.

Trump Is Withdrawing From NATO Under Putin's Orders

"Trump is discussing withdrawal from NATO," says the frightening American headline in The New York Times.

No, so far it didn't say "from Putin's orders", but Russia, of course, is mentioned.

It seems that the Democrats have invented a new horror story for the American electorate.

This is exactly how it can be interpreted through a serious publication on the topic of how

the US President is discussing the country's withdrawal from the NATO bloc the US itself created.

In the first sentence... not even the full sentence, but in the first ten words,

if we count the beginning text of the publication, they mention...

Putin.

I think you understand in which tone.

There are few things that President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia desires more than the weakening of NATO,

the military alliance among the United States, Europe and Canada that has deterred Soviet and Russian aggression for 70 years.

Last year, President Trump suggested a move tantamount to destroying NATO: the withdrawal of the United States."

In this "insider", the newspaper refers to unnamed "high-ranking officials of the administration",

who reported on several statements about the withdrawal from NATO made by Trump in private conversations in 2018.

After numerous references to the actions of the head of the United States, aimed at knocking out defense expenditures from European vassals,

The New York Times bluntly writes:

"The president's repeatedly stated desire to leave NATO is raising new worries among national security officials

amid growing concern about Mr. Trump's efforts to keep his meetings with Mr. Putin secret even from his own aides,

and an FBI investigation into the administration's Russia ties."

Bingo, basically. Trump's communication with the Kremlin can be considered proven.

In fact, of course, the actions of the head of the White House are fully explained by domestic political and psychological motives.

My friend and colleague Ivan Danilov remarked on this issue that Trump behaves exactly the same as he did when concluding his business deals.

"The negotiating position of the American leader boils down to the following principle, which he honed since his work in the field of New York real estate:

Trump has to receive all (that's all) possible benefits, otherwise the transaction will not take place,

despite all the likely losses for Trump himself.

Such a cowboy approach can sometimes work in business, when you can again and again move away from deals,

hoping to eventually find a weak partner, investor or client who can be bent to the fullest.

In geopolitics, such an approach does not work - the planet is too small, and weak-minded fools among planetary and even regional politicians is very small.

There exists a serious likelihood that such an uncompromising and, if you call things by their real name,

this goon approach will ultimately lead to NATO's actual collapse,

from one side, Germany and France are working hard to create a "European army",

but the President of the United States may in actuality decide that the best way to solve a problem is to loudly slam the door."

Yes, Trump's psychology can't be discounted.

But the matter, I believe, is not only in it.

It's important to not forget what kind of power group represents the head of the USA.

These are isolationists from among the tycoons attached to real production.

They do not need all these American bases scattered around the planet.

Because these bases are devouring resources and giving support to the opponents of isolationists - the globalists.

The best way to undermine the position of globalists is to deprive them of the opportunity to interfere in the affairs of other states.

No, the isolationists themselves don't mind robbing someone, but now they see that the USA has been weakened, and the robbery has ceased to succeed.

And that means - they need to abandon it, at least for a while.

Refuse it in order to save money and regain strength. That is, globalists want to play the old way, raising interest rates on borrowed money from the Federal Reserve System.

The isolationists however understand that there is no place to inflate the stakes further - you can even lose everything.

This is where Trump's tough position on the EU arises: either give billions to defense -

that is, pay for the maintenance of NATO's military machine in Europe, or walk into the forest.

The European Union clearly demonstrates that it is not planning to pay. And that is why the US withdrawal from NATO is a very real perspective.

No, this is not "orders from Putin."

Yes, it is beneficial to Russia. But it is also beneficial to the USA themselves.

But not for the fattened from two world wars, global America which as a result rattled the Middle East and overstrained itself.

But the one inhabited by the notorious rednecks, residents of the American heartland.

They don't need these wars, because from there they send home coffins wrapped with stars and striped flags,

as well as disabled people placed on painkillers.

Basically, ready drug addicts.

And they need them to work again in the factories of General Motors and Ford,

so that American companies do not destroy jobs in the interests of global business and stuff like that.

That is, the interests of the isolationist Trump and his "support group" in this completely coincide with the interests of ordinary Republican voters.

I suspect that they are not against putting up the "iron curtain" and building walls - and not only with Mexico, but also with Canada as well.

Do they need this NATO hanging weight on their leg?

They don't. But the blame on why America has screwed up in its aggressive foreign policy,

is of course, as you know, because of Putin.

For infantile people, there is always someone else who is guilty, but only not themselves.
