Trump news on Youtube Nov 28 2018

Donald Trump has threatened to permanently close the US border with Mexico after violence flared when hundreds of migrants tried to illegally gain entry into the States

The President also demanded the Mexican government deport thousands of migrants back to Central America

He tweeted: "Mexico should move the flag waving migrants, many of whom are stone cold criminals, back to their countries

Do it by plane, do it by bus, do it anyway you want, but they are NOT coming into the U

S.A.  "We will close the Border permanently if need be."  The Mexican authorities reacted by vowing to deport up to 500 who stormed the border

Tension has mounted since "caravans" of Central American migrants – mainly from Honduras – began arriving in Tijuana a few weeks ago to attempt entry into the US

More than 5,000 have been camped in Tijuana.  On Sunday, US Border Patrol officers fired tear gas and rubber bullets into the crowd, which included families with young children, after being assaulted and hit with rocks

The San Ysidro crossing between Tijuana and San Diego was also closed for several hours, stopping thousands travelling legally between the two countries

US Border Protection said: "Agents deployed tear gas to dispel the group because of the risk to agents' safety

" At least two dozen canisters could later be seen on the Mexican side.  It was confirmed that 42 migrants who stormed the border were arrested on the US side

Thirty-nine people were held for offences on the Mexican side.  Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said authorities would maintain a "robust" presence along the border and that anyone who damaged federal property or violated American sovereignty would be prosecuted

She said: "We will not tolerate this type of lawlessness and will not hesitate to shut down ports of entry for security and public safety reasons

"  Mexico vowed to shore up security on its side of the border and the Interior Ministry said it would deport those who tried to "violently" enter the US

US border agents said the vast majority of those massed at the border were economic migrants, who would not qualify for asylum in the US

The stand-off threatens to become the first crisis for Mexico's President-elect, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, 65, who takes office on Saturday

HE'S DONE IT TRUMP DROPS NUKE ON FBI – LET THE RIOTS BEGIN!

This is the most gross abuse of power I've ever heard about. There literally is no level

the left won't stoop to, in attempt to gain power these days.

I hope people go to prison for this.

If this was a normal American citizen doing this..they would be in prison for life.

From The Daily Wire:

The FBI, under the guidance of then-director James Comey, used more than one spy in its

investigation into former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, the government disclosed in a

court filing on Friday.

Trending: White House Guests KNEEL During National Anthem, Trump Makes Them Immediately

Regret It

"The FBI has protected information that would identify the identities of other confidential

sources who provided information or intelligence to the FBI" as well as "information provided

by those sources," wrote David M. Hardy, the head of the FBI's Record/Information

Dissemination Section.

The filing by Hardy and the Department of Justice came in response to a Freedom of Information

Act lawsuit to gain access to four of the FBI's applications for Foreign Intelligence

Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants against Page.

While the applications were released June 20, they were heavily redacted, and "USA

Today reporter Brad Heath has sued for full copies of the documents," The Daily Caller

reports.

The filing says the "confidential sources" deployed by the FBI were in addition to Christopher

Steele, a former British spy who reportedly authored a dossier on then-candidate Donald

Trump.

That dossier was used in order to obtain the FISA warrants, which give the FBI wide latitude

in an investigation, including the power to wiretap.

"This includes nonpublic information about and provided by Christopher Steele, as well

as information about and provided by other confidential sources, all of whom were provided

express assurances of confidentiality," Hardy wrote.

Steele was hired by his business associate, Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS, which had been

paid by Perkins Coie, the law firm retained by the Democratic National Committee and the

Hillary Clinton campaign.

Most of the Steele dossier had to do with Trump and onetime Trump campaign manager Paul

Manafort, but none of that material appears in the FISA applications.

Of particular note are a couple footnotes in the third FISA renewal application, The

Daily Wire reported in July.

One footnote mentions that Steele was paid by the FBI for his information, but "suspended

its relationship" with Steele after it learned he had disclosed information to the media.

"Subsequently, the FBI closed [Steele] as an FBI source," according to the documents.

Yet the FBI determined Steele's information to be reliable because his previous reporting

had been "corroborated and used in criminal proceedings," according to the application.

The FBI states in this footnote that the "incident that led the FBI to terminate its relationship

with [Steele] occurred after [Steele] provided the reporting

that

is described herein."

Trump's Trade Wars, Corporate Greed Just Cost U.S. Another 15,000 Jobs - Duration: 3:22.

On Monday it was announced the General Motors is going to be closing at least five plants

across North America for here in the United States, one in Canada, in slashing upwards

of 15,000 jobs, 15,000 jobs.

They're cutting 15 percent of their entire workforce here in North America because according

to the company, Donald Trump's trade wars have just made the cost of us steel and other

things needed to make cars.

They're just too expensive and we've got to cut staff.

We've got to cut salaried employees who have great benefits.

We have to get rid of them because Donald Trump's trade wars have made the cost of our

raw materials too expensive to turn enough of a profit.

That's only partially true.

Yes, Donald Trump's trade wars are harming the automobile industry.

They're harming a lot of industries here in the United States.

Farming is tanking right now because of these trade wars, so there is a little bit of truth

to that.

The other side of it that GM is not talking about is plain old corporate greed.

That's what's really behind this decision to cut 15,000 people right here at the holiday

time because you see General Motors so profitable that they got $514 million dollars from the

uh, Republican tax cut that was passed last year, 514 million in additional savings because

of that tax cut on top of that over the last few years they've actually gotten $50 billion

dollars from the US government to make sure that they keep running.

It was part of the auto industry bailout and subsequent bailouts that happened after that

$50 billion dollars.

So yeah, I understand that trump's trade wars are hurting you.

It's making the cost of raw goods go up, but you're already passing those costs along to

the consumers.

You're not technically paying that we are and now 15,000 workers in North America are

paying for it with their jobs because you don't want to be honest about what's actually

happening.

Yeah, it's super easy to blame trump for a lot of things.

And I understand.

Again, part of it isn't his fault, but most of it is corporate greed.

Most of it is the fact that your CEO and your shareholders want more money in their pockets

and they don't care how many thousands of lives they ruined in the process of putting

that money in their pockets.

The government is bailed you out countless times again to the tune of $50,000,000,000

and that's still not good enough for you.

General Motors, this is capitalism here in the United States, folks, it doesn't exist.

Know the free market, the doesn't exist.

The invisible hand of the government is actually a tight grip from corporations on the government.

Corporations are calling the shots.

GM goes and says, I want to bail out, and they get it.

They say, we're going to lay off 15,000 workers after you gave us 514 million in tax cuts

and there's nothing you can do about it, and they're 100 percent right?

Because corporations like gm and to many others in this country have absolutely overtaken

our government to the point where our elected officials, at least the ones in office right

now, are 100 percent.

The puppets of corporations like GM.

Trump's Broken Promise to General Motors | The Daily Show - Duration: 5:31.

General Motors.

It's not just the least popular Transformers character,

it's also one of America's biggest car manufacturers.

But now, they're in the news

for what cars they're not gonna be making.

Thousands of General Motors workers

will have little reason to celebrate this holiday season.

TV REPORTER: Facing slumping sales, General Motors

will stop making six underperforming sedans

by the end of next year, idling plants in Ohio,

Michigan, Maryland, and Ontario, Canada.

TV REPORTER: Six passenger cars reaching the end of the road:

the Cadillac XTS and CT6, the Buick LaCrosse,

and Chevy's Impala, Cruze, and hybrid Volt.

General Motors chose its words very carefully,

not saying that they were closing the Lordstown plant,

but rather, they weren't allocating

a product to the plant after March.

Oh, thank God.

I thought they were shutting down the plants,

but I guess they're just not

"allocating products" there anymore.

I wish I could use that language when I breakup with someone.

"Look, I'm-I'm not ending the relationship.

"I'm just not allocating any love for you after March.

Yeah, basically, I'm relocating my penis to other locations."

But that's right.

GM is killing off six of their cars,

like the Chevy Volt, yeah.

The electric car that tells everyone

"The line at the Tesla store was too long,

so I just said (bleep) it."

Or the Chevy Impala, which looks like a sports car made love

to a station wagon and neither of them were satisfied.

And of course, the Cadillac XTS, it's as close as you can get

to riding in a hearse without being dead.

Look at that thing.

But, honestly, the one car, the one car that I'll be glad

to never see again is the Chevy Cruze,

because every time I go to rent a car,

I somehow always end up with a Chevy Cruze.

And you know what they do is they trick you, right?

'Cause what they say is "BMW or similar."

And then when I get there, they give me a Chevy Cruze.

I'm like, "How's the BMW, BMW similar to a Chevy Cruze?"

They go, "Oh, it's got four wheels, you can sit in it."

This is bullshit.

I hate that car.

I feel like one day I'm gonna rent a house on Airbnb

and they're gonna give me a Chevy Cruze.

And I'll be like, "What the hell? Where's my house?"

And they'll say, like, "Well, we said 'beach house or similar.'

That's what we said."

So GM says because nobody was buying it,

they're gonna stop making the Chevy Cruze.

And honestly, I get it.

People don't want to drive a car

that shares a name with Ted Cruz.

It's as simple as that.

Yeah. It's the same reason nobody bought

the Ford Gaddafi, right?

No one wanted that car.

That car even looks like a Gaddafi.

Look at that car.

It sounds like a Gaddafi, too.

I bet when you start it, it's like,

(shouting gibberish)

And now, look, as much fun as it is to roast GM and its cars,

the sad truth is--

and although you want to go after the company--

because they're shutting down so much production,

they're also shutting down a lot of human's jobs.

TV REPORTER: GM cutting nearly 15,000 factory

and white collar jobs.

From GM's workers, the reaction was swift and distraught.

There's people in there bawling their eyes out.

I've never seen anything like it.

I felt like somebody kicked me in the stomach.

The bad thing is to get this news

on the day after we come back for Thanksgiving.

So being with our family and our friends

and they they got to come back to work

or wake up in the morning and hear of this news,

it's not easy for everybody.

Right. Real people who have lost their jobs.

People who are crying, people who are angry.

And I mean, that last guy really tells the story.

It's Thanksgiving, and the next thing you know,

you don't have a job.

And I mean, it was a little bit weird,

because he made it sound like he wasn't just angry

about being fired, he also was mad

that he had to wake up early to get fired, which I agree with.

He was like, "Y'all couldn't tell me I was fired last night?

I could have slept in. Shit."

And now, now, people are pissed off for two reasons.

Right, one, like all big corporations,

GM just got a huge tax cut.

But they didn't use that money to protect these jobs.

No. They mostly used it to prop up the price

of their own stock through buybacks.

And, like, we can't really be surprised

that a business would do that, right?

Businesses always try to maximize their profits.

That's what a business does.

Like, if a business isn't making money,

it's either a charity or Trump is running it.

That's how it works.

And speaking of Trump, and speaking of Trump,

those thousands of GM workers

are particularly pissed off at him

because he specifically promised that if people voted for him,

he'd make sure that GM added jobs.

General Motors announced

that they're adding or keeping 900 jobs

right here in Michigan.

And that's just the beginning, folks.

In fact, I told them that's peanuts.

That's peanuts.

You're gonna see General Motors, they're coming back.

Lot of companies are coming back.

It's a good feeling. It's a really good feeling.

Let me tell you folks in Ohio and this area,

don't sell your house. Don't sell your house.

We're gonna fill up those factories

or rip them down and build brand-new ones,

so it's gonna happen.

That did not happen the way he promised it.

You know what the president should have done?

He should have said,

"We're gonna give you new factories or similar."

That's what he should have said.

So, it turns out America's top used car salesman

clearly sold GM workers a lemon.

And if you think about it,

Trump's promises are a lot like the Chevy Cruze:

you can sell them as hard as you want,

but at the end of the day, no one's buying it.
