Trump news on Youtube Aug 31 2018

came from a different age, live

by an ancient antiquated code

where honor, courage, integrity,

duty, that was how John lived

his life.

The truth is John's code was

ageless.

Is ageless.

When you talked earlier, grant,

you talked about values.

It wasn't about politics with

John.

He could disagree on substance,

but it was the underlying values

that ant mated everything John

did.

Everything he was.

You could come to a different

conclusion, but where he'd part

company with you is if you

lacked the basic values of

decency, respect.

Knowing that this project is

bigger than yourself.

John's story is the American

story.

That's not hyperbole.

It's the American story.

Grounded in respect and decency.

Basic fairness.

The intolerance through the

abuse of power.

Many of you have traveled the

world.

Look how the rest of the world

recently looks at us.

They look at us a little naive.

We are so fair.

We're so decent.

We're the naive Americans.

But that's who we are.

That's who John was.

And he could not stand the abuse

of power.

Wherever he saw it, in whatever

form, in whatever country.

It was always about basic values

with John.

Fairness, honesty, dignity,

respect.

Giving hate no safe harbor.

Leaving no one behind.

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed proclamations allowing targeted relief from American steel

quotas from some countries, including South Korea.

The U.S. Commerce Department said Wednesday that President Trump, who imposed tariffs

on steel and aluminum imports in March, signed proclamations permitting relief from the quotas

on steel from South Korea, Brazil and Argentina and on aluminum from Argentina.

It added that companies can apply for product exclusions based on insufficient quantity

or quality available from American steel or aluminum producers...and a quota exclusion

may be granted.

Trump Goes ROGUE With Major Obama Announcement - Duration: 12:02.

Trump Goes ROGUE With Major Obama Announcement

President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Thursday to call out Barack Hussein Obama

for the illegal thing he did to help Iran during his presidency and to call for an investigation

to be launched into him.

"The Obama Administration is now accused of trying to give Iran secret access to the

financial system of the United States.

This is totally illegal.

Perhaps we could get the 13 Angry Democrats to divert some of their energy to this "matter"

(as Comey would call it).

Investigate!" Trump tweeted.

Trump is referring to the fact an investigation by the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations

just found that Obama's Treasury Department secretly worked on a license to allow Iran

access to the American financial system.

The investigation found that under Obama's leadership, the Treasury Department issued

a license in February 2016, never previously disclosed, that would have allowed Iran to

convert $5.7 billion it held at a bank in Oman from Omani rials into euros by exchanging

them first into U.S. dollars.

The effort failed because American banks declined to participate, as they themselves were afraid

of violating sanctions.

However, the Obama administration still approached two U.S. banks to facilitate the conversion,

with both of them refusing.

"The Obama administration misled the American people and Congress because they were desperate

to get a deal with Iran," Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH), the subcommittee's chair, said in

a statement.

We can only hope that Trump is able to get an investigation launched into Obama's activities,

and put the former president in prison where he belongs!

Trump defiende su respuesta al huracán en Puerto Rico/trump defends his response - Duration: 2:37.

US President Donald Trump defended today that his government did a "fantastic job" in its

response to Hurricane Maria that swept last year to Puerto Rico and hoped that "they will

not be hit again" by a similar catastrophe because its infrastructure It is not recovered.

One day after a study commissioned by the Puerto Rican authorities raised the death

toll to 2,975 people as a result of Hurricane Maria, Trump disputed the idea that the federal

government did not do enough in the face of the crisis.

"I think we did a fantastic job in Puerto Rico, and we're still helping Puerto Rico,"

Trump told reporters at the White House.

"We destined thousands and billions of dollars to Puerto Rico, and it was very hard, do not

forget that your power plant was dead before the storm," he added.

The president said that "the majority of people in Puerto Rico really appreciate what the

federal government has done," and assured that the island's governor, Ricardo Rosselló,

"is really happy with the work" that the White House has done.

.

"I just hope it does not hit them again (a hurricane), because they hit two (storms)

in a row, and it was something that had never been seen before," said Trump.

He recalled that Texas and Florida, also devastated last year by storms, "recovered quickly",

but "in Puerto Rico it was more difficult" due to their previous infrastructure problems

and because "being an island, it is more difficult to take things with them" .

"Puerto Rico had difficulties before being hit, and we are still fixing those difficulties,"

he said.

The death toll calculated in the study commissioned by the Government of the island and published

on Tuesday makes Hurricane Maria one of the worst tragedies due to a natural disaster

in US history, well above the 1,880 deaths in 2005 in New Orleans by Katrina.

The island authorities defended for months that the cyclone had left 64 deaths, while

the new study, prepared by the George Washington University, estimates that there were 2,975,

and another analysis of Harvard University released in May placed the balance at 4,645

deceased

The federal government also played down the consequences of the passage of the cyclone,

and during his visit last October to Puerto Rico, Trump said Hurricane Maria was not "a

real catastrophe" like Hurricane Katrina of 2005.

Donald Trump Sent Three Tweets That Could Send Hillary Clinton To Jail - Duration: 12:23.

Donald Trump Sent Three Tweets That Could Send Hillary Clinton To Jail

Hillary Clinton escaped jail because the FBI rigged the probe into her private email server.

Former Director James Comey and his allies looked the other way with Clinton's crimes.

But Donald Trump changed all that with three tweets that could send Hillary Clinton to

jail.

A Bombshell Report About Hillary Clinton's Emails

Americans were shocked when the FBI found emails with classified information on a laptop

owned by Anthony Weiner in October 2016.

James Comey ordered the probe reopened.

Comey later said he took this action to protect Clinton.

Comey believed Clinton would win the election and therefore did not want her win tainted.

The FBI's investigation – however – was a joke.

Critics believe the FBI carried out a cover-up.

Journalist Paul Sperry went on Fox News and revealed the FBI's failure.

Sperry declared, "James Comey told Congress that they had reviewed all of the Clinton

emails, hundreds of thousands, that were found on the Weiner laptop.

But that was not true.

They barely looked at any of them.

Just 3,000 of 700,000."

Sperry then described disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok's role in this scandal.

"Peter Strzok, the disgraced agent who was in charge of this midyear investigation into

the Clinton emails, he actually personally handpicked the 3,000 sample," Sperry continued.

"And with two other investigators, they went through them all supposedly, pulled an

all-nighter, ordered pizza, and said nothing new here.

Case closed once again," Sperry concluded.

Donald Trump Responds Donald Trump bashed the FBI for rigging the

Clinton email probe.

President Trump tweeted:

BIG STORY OUT THAT THE FBI IGNORED TENS OF THOUSANDS OF CROOKED HILLARY EMAILS, MANY

OF WHICH ARE REALLY BAD.

ALSO GAVE FALSE ELECTION INFO.

I FEEL SURE THAT WE WILL SOON BE GETTING TO THE BOTTOM OF ALL OF THIS CORRUPTION.

AT SOME POINT I MAY HAVE TO GET INVOLVED!

"THE FBI ONLY LOOKED AT 3000 OF 675,000 CROOKED HILLARY CLINTON EMAILS."

THEY PURPOSELY DIDN'T LOOK AT THE DISASTERS.

THIS NEWS IS JUST OUT.

@FOXNEWS

"THE FBI LOOKED AT LESS THAN 1%" OF CROOKED'S EMAILS!

Trump also blasted Jeff Sessions for not taking action against Hillary and the FBI.

He wrote:

"DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE WILL NOT BE IMPROPERLY INFLUENCED BY POLITICAL CONSIDERATIONS."

JEFF, THIS IS GREAT, WHAT EVERYONE WANTS, SO LOOK INTO ALL OF THE CORRUPTION ON THE

"OTHER SIDE" INCLUDING DELETED EMAILS, COMEY LIES & LEAKS, MUELLER CONFLICTS, MCCABE,

STRZOK, PAGE, OHR……

….FISA ABUSE, CHRISTOPHER STEELE & HIS PHONY AND CORRUPT DOSSIER, THE CLINTON FOUNDATION,

ILLEGAL SURVEILLANCE OF TRUMP CAMPAIGN, RUSSIAN COLLUSION BY DEMS – AND SO MUCH MORE.

OPEN UP THE PAPERS & DOCUMENTS WITHOUT REDACTION?

COME ON JEFF, YOU CAN DO IT, THE COUNTRY IS WAITING! Trump supporters see how the FBI

targets Trump and ignores Hillary Clinton's crimes.

And Paul Sperry's report backs that up.

Donald Trump's tweets show he will not allow this double standard to continue.

And it gives his supporters hope that Hillary Clinton will pay a price for her crimes.

Trump Stuns Obama Holdovers With Massive White House Purge – He's Firing Them All - Duration: 12:23.

Trump Stuns Obama Holdovers With Massive White House Purge – He's Firing Them All

Ever since Donald Trump took office, his White House has been plagued by a series of leaks.

Now, Trump is finally making a huge move to put a stop to these leaks once and for all.

Right Wing News reported that rumors are swirling that a massive purge is about to take place

in the Trump White House, as the president is planning a major shake-up among his communications

team.

Sources say that White House chief of staff John Kelly has already approved of a plan

to purge some mid-level and junior aides in the hopes of finally ending the damning leaks.

Some staffers will be fired, while others will be moved to different departments.

Junior communications staffer Kelly Sadler was just fired after she made a remark about

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) that was leaked to the press stating "It doesn't matter,

he's dying anyway."

She said this during a meeting with a group of about two-dozen communications staffers

shortly after McCain voiced his public opposition to President Trump's pick for CIA director,

Gina Haspel.

Once this was leaked, the White House moved fast to prevent future and further leaks by

limiting invitations to President Trump's daily communications meetings to a smaller

group of advisers.

The White House did not deny that Sadler made the statement, apologizing for any "discomfort"

it may have caused.

"We respect Senator McCain's service to our nation and he and his family are in our

prayers during this difficult time," the White House added.

A source close to the situation said that Sadler's firing has made communication aides

feel uneasy, as they higher ups "have made it clear nobody is safe no matter what."

We can only hope that this purge will finally stop the leaks that have plagued Trump's

White House from day one of his presidency.

Trump ready to slap tariffs on US$200 billion of China imports: report - Duration: 1:51.

U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly ready to impose tariffs on 200 billion dollars

more in Chinese imports as soon as a public comment period on the plan ends next week.

The potential move was reported by Bloomberg on Thursday.

For more on this and other news around the world we turn to our Ro Aram…

Aram… could we see this trade conflict escalate further?

Well Mark… it is hard to tell at the moment as the Bloomberg report notes that President

Trump's position is not final.

It also suggests that if any tariffs were to be imposed, they would be enacted in installments.

Any announcement on the matter is likely to come out late next week after the public-comment

period.

Companies and members of the public have until next Thursday to submit comments on the proposed

duties.

The report also said it's possible any tariffs imposed would take effect at a later date.

The White House is yet to comment on the report.

Markets have reacted badly to the news, with the S&P 500 hitting session lows and the U.S.

dollar, Chinese yuan and U.S. Treasury yields also falling.

It the U.S. goes ahead with slapping duties on 200 billion dollars-worth of Chinese goods,

it would be largest so far and could escalate what is already a tense trade war between

the world's two largest economies.

The new proposed 25 percent tariffs would also affect more products, including home

building supplies, bicycles and clothing.

The Trump administration has already applied tariffs to 50 billion dollars of Chinese goods,

with Beijing retaliating in kind.

Talks aimed at easing trade tensions ended last week without major breakthroughs.

Trump promised to end Korean War to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un: Vox - Duration: 2:19.

Let's start with the shaky state of Pyongyang-Washington ties.

Could there be another reason behind the current stalemate in negotiations between the United

States and North Korea?

While many are pointing an accusing finger at Pyongyang for dragging its feet on denuclearization,...

a U.S. media outlet reports that President Trump may have made Kim Jong-un a big promise

of his own during the Singapore summit,... one he has yet to keep.

Lee Ji-won has more.

U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly promised North Korean leader Kim Jong-un that he would

end the Korean War during their historic summit in Singapore back in June.

U.S. media outlet Vox, citing multiple sources familiar with the negotiations, reported Wednesday

that President Trump told Kim that he would sign a declaration to end the war soon after

their summit.

But since then, the U.S. has been repeatedly urging North Korea to take more concrete actions

for its denuclearization, more specifically, handing over 60 to 70 percent of its nuclear

warheads within six to eight months.

Vox says this is likely what brought about the deadlock and the increasingly hostile

response from the North.

One of the sources told Vox that President Trump having promised a peace declaration

but then making it conditional would seem as though Washington is reneging on its commitments

and it makes sense why the North Koreans are angry.

While the White House declined to comment, State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert

said she's not familiar with that being part of the overall agreement, but once again reiterated

the U.S. believes denuclearization has to take place before anything else.

Despite the skepticism and doubt, likely aggravated by President Trump's cancellation of his Secretary

of State's visit to Pyongyang,... the president once again reiterated that he's on good terms

with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Speaking at the White House on Wednesday, President Trump said the U.S. is doing very

well with North Korea.

But he pointed to China as one of the reasons for the current stalemate with the North.

"China is the route to North Korea.

Ninety three percent of the products and various things that go into North Korea, go through

China.

And I think that China makes it much more difficult in terms of our relationship with

North Korea."

President Trump praised Chinese President Xi Jinping and China in general, but said

that, with the U.S. losing hundreds of billions of dollars a year to China, he had to straighten

out their lob-sided trade relationship.

Lee Ji-won, Arirang News.
