HE DID IT: Trump Just Destroyed Obama's Legacy With the Swipe of a Pen

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Barack Obama has been meeting with Democratic hopefuls

for the 2020 election.

Now, Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich has revealed the real reason he has been doing

this.

It was reported that Obama has met with nine potential Democratic candidates, including

Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Deval Patrick.

Pavlich believes that Obama is doing this because he is desperate to stop Trump from

saving his legacy.

"Clearly he's frustrated with his legacy completely being destroyed by this administration,"

Pavlich said.

Pavlich went on to say that Democrats are ignoring middle-America counties that voted

for Obama in 2008 but then switched and voted for Trump in 2016.

"Maybe Obama can kind of give them some advice about how to get back those counties,"

she said.

The meetings Obama has had with the prospective candidates have taken place at Obama's personal

office on the third floor of the World Wildlife Fund building in Washington D.C.

The potential candidates are each desperate to secure Obama's blessing, as he has remained

the virtual head of the Democratic Party.

However, Obama has made no promises to any of them and will not endorse in the race until

a nominee emerges.

Obama campaigned heavily for Hillary Clinton in 2016, and it appears clear that he plans

to campaign against Trump a lot once again in 2020.

Trump has been systematically destroying Obama's legacy ever since he first entered the White

House.

On Friday, Trump called out Obama again for ceding Crimea to Russia in 2014.

"President Obama lost Crimea just so you understand, this was before I got there,"

Trump said.

"President Obama lost Crimea."

When asked to explain this, Trump replied, "Because Putin didn't respect President

Obama.

President Obama lost Crimea because president Putin didn't respect President Obama, didn't

respect our country and didn't respect Ukraine."

Trump Stuns Obama Holdovers: "You're All FIRED"

President Donald Trump just issued a new executive order that will potentially get rid of federal

employee unions' ability to negotiate with agency leaders and represent workers.

PS Republic reported that this order will will also reduce the time it takes for an

agency to fire people for poor performance or misconduct.

Trump issues this order because during Barack Obama's presidency, government employees

felt safe from repercussions for not working or for misbehaving.

Trump has had enough of this nonsense, and he's putting these workers on notice.

"Today, the President is fulfilling his promise to promote a more efficient government

by reforming civil service rules," said Andrew Bremberg, director of the President's

Domestic Policy Council.

"Every year, the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey shows that less than one-third of federal

employees believe poor performers are adequately addressed by their agency.

These executive orders make it easier to remove poor performing employees, and ensure that

taxpayer dollars are more efficiently used."

Trump's first goal is to reduce the time it takes to fire poor performers and employees

suspected of misconduct by standardizing the length of Performance Improvement Plans to

30 days across the federal government.

"A GAO report shows that it takes six months to a year to remove someone from government,

and can often take another nine months on appeal," an official said.

"[This] also encourages agencies to fire someone for misconduct when they've been

engaged in behavior that warrants it, instead of just suspending them."

Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) released a statement praising Trump for this order, calling it

a huge move towards a more effective federal government.

"The hallmark of the American civil service is our commitment to hire the best and the

brightest to serve our fellow Americans," he said.

"These executive orders strive to make the federal government more efficient, not only

for the taxpayer, but for our great federal workers.

We have thousands of federal employees who work very hard for the nation; it's important

that their work is not frustrated by the poor performance of a small few."

Liberals are furious about this of course, but we love Trump's latest move!

Trump calls off Pompeo's Pyongyang trip due to 'insufficient progress' on denuclearization - Duration: 2:05.

Late last week, U.S. President Donald Trump put the brakes on diplomacy with North Korea.

Only a day after his Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced he would be visiting Pyongyang

this week, Trump announced on twitter the trip had been called off.

It was a move that not only caught his own officials off-guard, but also other players

like South Korea and China.

Are negotiations really at that much of a standstill, or is this another Trump 'Art

of the Deal' negotiation tactic?

We'll explore those questions with our expert guest in the studio, right after this wrap-up

of Trump's announcement by Hwang Ho-jun.

The Twitter bomb dropped just a day after U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced

he was going to visit North Korea next week.

President Trump tweeted on Friday local time that he asked Pompeo not to go to Pyongyang

at this time due to the regime's insufficient progress on the issue of denuclearization.

He also criticized China for hampering the process, in reference of the ongoing tariff

war between Washington and Beijing.

However, President Trump still sent his regards to Kim Jong-un, ending his tweet by saying

he looks forward to seeing him soon.

Pompeo's visit would have been his fourth to North Korea.

The cancellation of Pompeo's trip comes amid rising skepticism on whether the North Korean

leader is serious about his commitment to dismantle the regime's nuclear and missile

programs.

Since the North Korea-U.S. summit in June, Pyongyang has taken visual steps such as demolishing

its only known nuclear test site and its missile engine testing site.

However, experts say they are hard to verify without outside inspection.

Moreover, the International Atomic Energy Agency published a report this week, expressing

its quote "grave concern" over North Korea's continued activities at the Yongbyon nuclear

site.

Some observers are saying this is another tactic by the Trump administration to put

more pressure on North Korea.

In fact, this isn't the first time Trump has scrapped a scheduled meeting with Pyongyang;

he called off his Singapore summit with Kim in May,... before hastily rearranging it.

Hwang Hojun, Arirang News.

Attorney Alan Dershowitz admits what's best for Trump in Mueller probe may not be what's best for Am - Duration: 2:11.

Appearing on ABC's This Week, former law professor Alan Dershowitz admitted that President Donald Trump's attorneys should stop him from interviewing with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigators even if it is at the expense of Americans finding out the truth about Russian involvement in the 2016 election.

Speaking with host George Stephanopoulos, the attorney who has become one of Trump's most avid defenders said Trump's attorneys are just doing their job by shielding Trump from questioning

"Look, I fully understand why so many people want, hope, that President Trump has committed crimes and impeachable offenses, but the evidence isn't there," he said in reference to Trump approving paying off adult film star Stormy Daniels and Playmate Karen McDougal.

"The president or the candidate is entitled to contribute anything he wants to his own campaign," he continued

"So the only issue here is whether or not there was a failure to report the contribution."

"You were just about to say, Professor Dershowitz that perhaps the special counsel is the least of the threats the president faces right now," the ABC host pressed

"You've got the Southern District, you've got the New York attorney general, you've got the Manhattan district attorney

Where's the greatest threat?". "Well, I said that right from the beginning because I think he has constitutional defenses to the investigation being conducted by Mueller

But there are no constitutional defenses to what the Southern District is investigating," the attorney replied

"So I think the Southern District is the greatest threat.". "Look, it would be good for the American public if President Trump sat down and said everything he knows, but it wouldn't be good for President Trump," Dershowitz admitted

And that's why his lawyers are so strongly recommending against it. His lawyers, particularly his private lawyers, are not supposed to consider what's best for America

The White House counsel perhaps, yes, but his private lawyers are supposed to consider what's best for Mr.Trump

"And it certainly is not best for Mr. Trump to sit down and allow himself to answer questions, even truthfully, that might be contradicted by Cohen or McGahn or somebody else, because that's a perjury trap," he concluded.

[ISSUE TALK] Trump cancels Pompeo's visit to North Korea putting ball back in Pyongyang's court - Duration: 14:19.

To try and help break down the implications of this latest development, we have with us

Dr. Bong Young-shik from the Yonsei Institute for North Korean Studies.

Thank you for taking the time to come in today.

1 - President Trump called off Pompeo's visit to Pyongyang, a day after Pompeo announced

he was going.

He said there was not sufficient progress being made on North Korea's denuclearization.

It's the first time he has really admitted to problems with denuclearization negotiations.

Is this a bad sign or is this just another Trump negotiation tactic, like when he cancelled

his summit with Kim Jong-un, as mentioned in the report?

1b - There are some who would say that this was perhaps a good decision, as all signs

suggested that Pompeo would not come back with anything substantial from the proposed

visit.

Would you agree with that?

2 - North Korea have so far given no response to this cancellation.

How do you think the North Korean leadership are feeling at the moment, and how do you

think they will respond?

2a - When Trump cancelled the summit last time, Pyongyang made the move reaching out

to put the summit back on again.

It showed how much they wanted the summit.

Does this now put the ball back in Pyongyang's court again?

Does Trump have the upper hand?

3 - Trump has also blamed China for not helping with the North Korea denuclearization process

because of the trade dispute Washington and Beijing are having.

Do you think he has a point?

And what effect do you think this will have, if any?

4 - Beijing has offered a strong rebuke to Trump's comments.

A foreign ministry spokesperson called it irresponsible and a total disregard of basic

facts.

President Xi Jinping is reportedly visiting Pyongyang for North Korea's 70th anniversary

celebrations of the regime's foundation.

Do you think this changes the atmosphere of the visit and what the he will talk about

with Kim Jong-un?

5 - Trump says Pompeo is looking forward to going to Pyongyang in the near future, most

likely after the trading relations with China is resolved.

That leaves the door open for a visit in the future, but the trading relationship with

China doesnt look like it will be resolved any time soon.

Does that mean the negotiations between Washington and Pyongyang will be at a standstill for

the foreseeable future?

And if that is the case, who loses out here, the U.S. or North Korea?

6 - South Korea's President Moon is set to have his third summit with Kim Jong-un

some time in September.

In response to Trump's decision over the weekend, the Blue House spokesperson came out and said

that he believes President Moon's role as mediator between Washington and Pyongyang

is greater than ever before.

Would you agree with that statement?

7 - How much can South Korea move ahead without progress between U.S. and

North Korea?

If denuclearization talks have stalled, what more can South Korea do independently?

Is President Moon's most important role as mediator?

8 - North Korean state media has revealed that

a Japanese tourist has been released from detention, citing humanitarian reasons.

The timing of this announcement has caught some attention.

What do you make of this news?

9 - Satellite photos have shown vehicles and troops preparing for the military parades

that are expected on September 9th for the celebrations of the regime's foundation.

Scud-class launchers have been spotted but not intermediate or ICBM launchers.

If North Korea were to display its ICBM's how provocative a stance do you think

it will be, and how much damage could

it

do for negotiations with the U.S.?

That's where we will wrap things up.

I'll be back same time tomorrow and in the meantime, stay tuned to Arirang for

our later newscasts for all the latest from Korea

and around the world.

Thank you for watching, and hope you

can join us

next time.

Goodbye.

Democrats Are Launching An All New Investigation To Take Down Trump - Duration: 11:28.

Democrats Are Launching An All-New Investigation To Take Down Trump

There's nothing the Democrats want to do more than take down President Trump.

He is everything they fear in a president and more.

And they just launched an all-new investigation to do just that.

One of the ways Democrats are trying to discredit Trump is by making his administration seem

scandal-ridden.

The best way to do that, in lieu of there being actual scandals, is to launch investigations

to make the public perceive his administration as being riddled with scandals.

That is what has been done so far in Trump's presidency.

The formation of Robert Mueller's special counsel investigation was a long time coming,

with tons of work coming from those on the anti-Trump left to create circumstantial evidence

necessary to launch the investigation.

It began with unsubstantiated rumors about Russia collusion supporting Trump being spread

around.

Then it was escalated from being just rumors when Hillary Clinton's campaign and the

Democratic National Committee (DNC) paid former British spy Christopher Steele to compile

the now-infamous dossier making unsubstantiated salacious claims against Trump.

Among those salacious claims were allegations that Trump campaign adviser Carter Page was

in contact with Russian officials.

That claim about Page, with no evidence, was enough for the FBI to obtain a FISA warrant

against the Trump campaign.

And finally, that FISA warrant was used as justification for Deputy Attorney General

Rod Rosenstein to form Robert Mueller's special counsel.

All of that started with one unsubstantiated rumor, followed by an unverified report the

Democrats paid for.

So when the Democrats launch a new investigation, it must be carefully watched, as shady strategies

to blow it out of proportion are almost certainly being worked on.

The latest plan to create a new scandal for Trump has to do with Air Force One.

Virtually every president since the creation of Air Force One has allowed family, friends,

and even political donors to tour the massive plane.

Historically, that has not been a problem.

But now that Donald Trump is doing it, Democrats have sent a letter to the United States Air

Force, as well as the Defense Department's inspector general asking if the practice violates

any ethical standards or other regulations.

The letter was signed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Tom Carper (D-DE), Sen. Richard Blumenthal

(D-CN) and Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI).

This move is likely the most ridiculous and petty thing the Democrats have done to try

to attack Trump.

The stated reason that they are going after Trump, in this case, is due to his business

interests.

They feel, with no evidence, that Trump may be abusing his position as president for business

gain.

That is why they want a full list of those given access to Air Force One.

It doesn't matter to the Democrats that Trump does not, in fact, have any direct control

of his businesses since he took office.

He passed it off to his elder son in order to remove any perceived conflicts of interest,

and because he was going to be too busy to complete his duties anyway.

Regardless, the left is trying to create a new scandal by forcing him to pass off the

list of people admitted to Air Force One.

Why do you think the left is targeting Trump so hard?

Let us know your thoughts

SA response to Trump land tweet - 'It's based on false information'

SA response to Trump land tweet - 'It's based on false information'.

South Africa has officially conveyed its 'unhappiness' to the US Embassy in Pretoria at Donald Trump's tweet‚ saying it was based on false information and lobbying by groups seeking to derail the country's land distribution programme.

International Relations and Cooperation (Dirco) minister Lindiwe Sisulu called the US Embassy on Thursday to convey the message.

"The US Charge d'Affaires was informed to convey to Washington that Pretoria is disappointed about Washington's failure to use available diplomatic channels‚" Dirco said in a statement on Friday.

"Dirco also urged the Charge d'Affaires to indicate to Washington that the people of South Africa‚ of all races‚ are working together through Parliament and other legal platforms to find a solution to this historic challenge and that President Trump's tweet serves only to polarise debate on this sensitive and crucial matter.

"At the end of the meeting‚ the Charge d'Affaires committed to convey the minister's message to Washington immediately‚" the statement said.

Dirco emphasised that the tweet by the US President was "based on false information and lobbying by certain South African lobby groups that seek to derail and frustrate the land redistribution programme".

In the statement‚ government reiterated that: • It was following a consultative process to address land and agrarian reform and would not allow land grabs and anarchy in the process of finding a solution to the land issue.

• President (Cyril) Ramaphosa had consistently indicated that the process would be undertaken within the confines of the Constitution and in a way that grew the economy‚ ensured food security‚ and increased agricultural production.

Government would not support calls for the nationalisation of land.

• Government's policy and approach to land reform had been clarified by Deputy President David Mabuza at a Land Summit on August 23.

• Government wanted to caution against alarmist‚ false‚ inaccurate‚ misinformed‚ as well as – in some cases – politically-motivated statements that did not reflect the policies and intentions of the South African Government.

Trump tweets incorrect approval ratings - Duration: 4:21.

Donald Trump is back to boasting about his approval ratings - but no one can seem to find the poll he's citing

The president took to Twitter Sunday evening to write: 'Over 90 per cent approval rating for your all time favorite (I hope) President within the Republican Party and 52 per cent overall

''This despite all of the made up stories by the Fake News Media trying endlessly to make me look as bad and evil as possible

Look at the real villains please!' he added. However, it's not clear where the Republican leader is getting his numbers

According to the latest poll released Sunday and conducted by NBC and the Wall Street Journal, Trump's numbers are inaccurate

The poll shows that in a survey conducted from Wednesday August 22 to Saturday August 25, Trump had an approval rating of 44 per cent, and a disapproval rating of 52 per cent

The poll was conducted just after former campaign manager Paul Manafort was convicted and Trump's lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to campaign financing violations, bank fraud, and tax fraud

Another poll from August 18 to August 22 - prior to the Manafort and Cohen news - showed that Trump had an approval rating of 46 per cent approve, 51 per cent disapprove

Rudy Giuliani: Impeaching Trump Will Lead To Civil War Against Elites - Duration: 12:06.

Rudy Giuliani: Impeaching Trump Will Lead To Civil War Against Elites

Rudy Giuliani has warned impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump will result in a new

American civil war.

In an interview with Sky News, Trump's lawyer said "the American people would revolt"

against the elitists if the president was impeached on phoney Russian collusion charges.

Sky News reports: "You could only impeach [Trump] for political reasons and the American

people would revolt against that," he said.

Cohen admitted on Tuesday to paying hush money to a porn actress and a model at the request

of a "candidate" – revealed by his lawyer to be Donald Trump – in order to influence

the 2016 US election campaign.

His lawyer says it is "absolutely clear that Donald Trump committed a felony" in

the run-up to the election, and the developments have heightened speculation that the president

could be impeached.

Mr Giuliani, however, said he believed Mr Trump has been "completely cleared" by

Cohen's testimony, saying it was "inevitable" that he would not be impeached.

"You have this Cohen guy, he doesn't know anything about Russian collusion, he doesn't

know anything about obstruction, he's a massive liar," he said.

Mr Giuliani, former mayor of New York, spoke to Sky News during a golfing trip at Balmedie

on the Aberdeenshire coast, a course owned by Mr Trump.

His attempt to defend the president and discredit Cohen echoed the claims of Mr Trump and his

press secretary Sarah Sanders, who have both dismissed claims of wrongdoing brought by

the former lawyer.

The evidence that Mr Trump had been involved in hush money payments includes a tape recording

of a conversation from before the presidential election, in which he and Cohen discuss payment

to the Playboy model Karen McDougal.

On Thursday Mr Giuliani denied that the recordings were significant, saying: "The tape recordings

say very clearly that Cohen did it on his own, didn't tell the president until much

later."

He claimed the former lawyer had been "discredited" and would not be able to provide useful information

to special counsel Robert Mueller, who is probing accusations of collusion with Russia

in the 2016 election.

Mr Giuliani was also questioned over former campaign manager Paul Manafort, who was found

guilty on Tuesday of eight of 18 charges relating to avoiding paying $16m (£12.4m) in taxes.

"If you ask me has Paul Manafort been treated very unfairly," he said.

"The man was put into solitary confinement which turned out to be almost like civil cases

not real crime, it's not like he's a terrorist or an organised criminal or a killer."

Mr Giuliani has in recent days been called to defend himself for claiming in a TV interview

about the investigation into Russia's role in the 2016 US election that "truth isn't

truth".

Trump Drops The Hammer On Obama – This Is It!

The more that comes to light about spy gate, the more clear it becomes that Barack Obama

was willing to stop at nothing to try and take Donald Trump down.

Right Wing News reported that The Hill's John Solomon just revealed to Fox News host

Sean Hannity that the Obama administration tried to take over the FBI's investigation

of the Trump campaign.

He explained that Obama's FBI began spying on members of the Trump campaign to gather

the intelligence that ultimately justified the collusion investigation, weeks or even

months before the FBI had a formal predicate.

If this is true, Trump is about to drop his presidential hammer down on Obama and his

minions.

"That's very important.

The rules say you can't use sources until you have a predicated investigation.

The predication is July 31, 2016," Solomon told Hannity.

"I'm putting finishing touches on a column that I think will come out tomorrow.

And it will reveal two really important things," Solomon said.

"The efforts to begin targeting and reaching out to Trump campaign officials to gain intelligence

on Russia that would ultimately justify the investigation began weeks and maybe months

before the FBI had a formal predicate.

And that's very important the rules say you can't use sources until you have a predicated

investigation."

"The investigation is July 31, 2016.

My sources and documents that I will be able to make public tomorrow will show that there

were contacts going on by people identified as informers, informants, people who provided

information began much, much earlier than July 31st.

That's the first part," he continued.

"The second part is as the investigation was just starting to ramp up there are internal

FBI documents showing FBI agents talking about the White House trying to take over the investigation.

Fears that the Justice Department were going to leak for political reasons and their own

personal fear."

It's time for Trump to take action and launch an official investigation into Obama so that

he can finally be punished for his illegal activities.
