President Trump knows that Rahm Emanuel is a liar.

He is the mayor of Chicago and is one of the most corrupt individuals in politics.

He is one in a long line of corrupt Chicago mayors.

The lawsuit that Rahm Emanuel brought against the DOJ is clearly a fake.

His fake lawsuit against the DOJ's promise to pull funding from sanctuary cities is a

distraction from the $55 million scandal in Chicago that hit airwaves last week.

The aldermen of Chicago and city officials have called out Emanuel of redirecting $55

million in TIF funds that were designated to aid the poor, and mostly black portion

of Chicago's South Side.

He instead rerouted the tax funds and no one noticed because it wasn't disclosed on the

tax bills.

What happens in Chicago – stays in Chicago.

You can understand why Emanuel would be so desperate to divert attention from this scandal

and, so far, it's worked.

By Sunday, Emanuel had announced his $3 million federal lawsuit, claiming the Trump Administration

was blackmailing the City of Chicago and the national news outlets ate it up: Rahm versus

Trump.

Unsurprisingly that the mainstream media is refusing to cover the debacle in Chicago.

He claims he is worried about the $3 million that Chicago will lose if they refuse to cooperate

with immigration laws.

He said he wanted the money to purchase some cop cars.

What is he doing with that $55 million he redirected?

It's been dubbed a slush fund scheme for money laundering.

That $55 million could have helped Chicago's struggling public schools.

It could have purchased those police vehicles Rahm says he's so concerned about or put

more cops on the street.

Chicago ended July with more than 400 murders, putting the city on pace to exceed the number

of killings in 2016 with 781 homicides.

Lord knows Chicago could use more cops.

Yes, the poor of Chicago are suffering because Emanuel embezzled $55 million that was designated

to assist them.

serving Afghanistan, he is one), all signs point to the fact that he�s probably not

on board.

And if we�re right, Melania might want to be ready to discuss some civil rights issues.

Because despite his posh demeanor, Prince Harry�s not exactly known for holding back.

The First Lady did give a statement expressing her gratitude for the chance to attend the

event, which Prince Harry founded in 2014.

�In just two short years, the Invictus Games have allowed thousands of injured and wounded

servicemen and women from many different countries to participate in adaptive sports competitions,

something that should be lauded and supported worldwide,� she said.

�I am honored by the opportunity to represent our country at this year�s games.�

Royal watchers are also speculating that Meghan Markle may accompany Harry to meet the First

Lady�the Invictus Games are in Toronto, where Markle currently resides.

But for once, all eyes may not be on the happy couple.

reality.

Trump also took some time to get the word out about all he has accomplished in his first

six months as POTUS, since the media certainly won't do it.

Yes, President Trump has a conservative Supreme Court Justice in place, unemployment is falling

by the month, the borders are being shored up, and terrorism and gang threats in the

US are falling.

So why is the fake news media focusing so much on Russia?

Oh yeah, because it's all part of the 2020 campaign against Trump.

They're going to try and stop him from doing his job if he does his job; they're going

to make it look like he's doing badly for the next four years.

They forgot that the Russia story was completely debunked today and now they have no chance

at getting an impeachment because of "collusion."

Now it's time for Congress to be productive and not obstructive.

Get to work for the American people and you'll be reelected if not, you'll be replaced

President Trump said Pyongyang had better not make any more threats against Washington

Those remarks were slammed by both Republicans and Democrats.

U.S. President Donald Trump, who is currently on a 17-day vacation at his private golf resort

in New Jersey,... fired back on Tuesday against North Korea's latest threats with tough words

of his own.

"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States.

They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.

He has been very threatening... beyond a normal statement, and as I said they will be met

with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before."

Those comments were quickly criticized by both Democrat and Republican lawmakers.

The chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, John McCain, urged the President

to be sure he can follow through before making such statements, adding that great leaders

don't make threats unless they are ready to act.

Democrats also slammed Trump for his comments, calling them bombastic and unhinged.

Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee,

said Trump lacks the temperament and judgment to deal with serious crises and that Washington

should not make the same kind of provocative statements as Pyongyang.

Amid the heightened tension, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joseph Dunford,

is scheduled to hold talks with his South Korean counterpart Lee Sun-jin next week to

discuss ways to better deal with Pyongyang's threats and to strengthen security cooperation

in the region.

Dunford is also scheduled to hold talks next week with his Japanese and Chinese counterparts.

First, establishment Republicans defeated President Trump's attempt at repealing Obamacare.

And now, it appears the same thing is going to happen with Trump's RAISE act, which

creates a merit-based immigration system.

Sen. Marco Rubio said that the bill to reduce illegal immigration fail in the the Senate.

"That bill's not going to pass."

Rubio told CBS Miami.

"I also think the White House knows that you don't have 60 votes for that in the

Senate."

But there's a problem with Rubio's statement — it's very simple to go "nuclear"

and get the bill through on a 50-vote threshold.

However, the Florida senator seems to not want to go that route, effectively blocking

legislation that could pass through — but perhaps Rubio's pro-amnesty past says a

lot about the way he would vote on this bill.

Sen. David Perdue (R-GA), Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK), and Trump introduced the bill last

week called the RAISE Act, which would overhaul our current legal immigration system into

a "merit-based" points system, not unlike systems already in place in countries such

as Canada and Australia.

The system prioritizes prospective legal immigrants with sought-after skills, education, or English

language proficiency and would curb the number of green cards issued each year.

Despite Trump's promise to reform immigration and polls that show public support for a merit-based

immigration system, the measure needs 60 votes to pass the Senate without a filibuster.

Rubio, who led the fight for amnesty for DREAMers, or children of illegal aliens allowed to come

to the U.S. under the DREAM Act, said he opposes the cap on the number of people who can come

to the U.S. with a green card.

"Where I probably have a big difference of opinion with this bill is that it sets

an arbitrary cap on the number of people that are able to come through with a green card.

I don't think that should be an arbitrary cap, that number should be driven by demand,"

Rubio said.

Rubio was part of the "Gang of Eight," a group of eight senators who pushed for legislation

that would provide amnesty for illegal aliens in 2013 without a clear timeline of when immigration

laws would start to be enforced.

Rubio said the 2013 proposal for legal immigration also had a merit-based points system but did

not go as far as the RAISE Act.

"In 2013, the very controversial "Gang of Eight," four Democrats and four Republicans,

proposed moving legal immigration to a merit-based system," Rubio said.

"It wouldn't be entirely merit-based, but it would be more merit-based and it has

to be in the 21st century."

"Impaneling the grand jury shows that Bob Mueller is pursuing this potential wrongdoing

by the Russians, the attack on our democracy, seriously and diligently — and there is

no minimizing or underestimating that attack by the Russians," Blumenthal said.

"It was purposeful and relentless, and it involved propaganda and hacking into our voting

machines or at least an attempt to do it and potential collusion by the Trump campaign

and then obstruction of justice.

That investigation must be pursued."

Using his social media prowess to fight back against Blumenthal's insults, Trump reminded

his millions of followers that the Clinton supporter lied about serving in the Vietnam

War.
