Steve Bannon's next steps might be a big blow to Fox News.

Rumors are circulating that the former White House Chief Strategist is planning to launch

a news network that is more conservative than Fox, according to Axios.

According to reporter Jonathan Swan, friends of Bannon have said the Breitbart executive

chairman sees Fox News heading toward the center of the political spectrum, which creates

an opening to the right of Fox.

They don't know if the network is going to be an online streaming service like Netflix

or an actual television station.

Before former Fox News head Roger Ailes died earlier this year he met with Bannon and discussed

the idea of starting a network together and Bannon loved the idea, according to Axios.

One thing causing speculation that a new network is in the offing is that Bannon took a meeting

with Long Island billionaire Robert Mercer, who has backed other

Bannon projects.

The Government has made a private pledge to assist the US President by dispatching the sophisticated craft to within strike range of the hermit kingdom.

Special forces troops will also be supplied to help targeted strikes on despot leader , the Daily Star Sunday said.

The Government's decision has come after Mr Trump said he would not rule out a pre-emptive strike against which has tested numerous missiles over the past year, going against UN rules.

One senior source told the Daily Star Sunday: The UK policy is hope for peace but prepare for war. It is inconceivable that the US will go to war with North Korea without the help and assistance of the UK.

Britain has plenty of assets it can offer to the US without getting directly involved in the fight. Mr Trump last week tweeted the US was "locked and loaded" if North Korea acted "unwisely".

US military chiefs have warned a war with Kim would be catastrophic, however the president is determined to react, bringing relations with the isolated communist state to an historic low.

Defence sources claimed the possibility of war is now greater than it has been since the 1950s.

Their claim comes a week after defence expert Trevor Taylor, from the highly-respected Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) think tank, told Express.co.uk if Kim fired missiles at the US.

Today Kim fumed about the "reckless behaviour" shown by the US as it refused to back down from carrying out , starting tomorrow. He said the annual 10-day drills would invite "the uncontrollable phase of nuclear war".

In a war with North Korea, the RAF will also most likely dispatch at least two of its E-3 Sentry early-warning aircraft, which can identify enemy missile stations with pinpoint accuracy.

Known as AWACs, the aircrafts can hack into enemy communications and control battles from the air as they act as an airborne control system. The RAF will also likely supply air-to-air refuelling tankers.

The deployment of a naval fleet to the area has not been ruled out if relations continue to deteriorate.

One possible option for both the US and Britain, with other allies, is a targeted strike on Kim which could lead to other senior leaders seizing power in a coup, sources claim.

A first strike against the regime's nuclear facilities by US steal bombers, with the RAF's AWACs involved, is also an option. Plans involving British and US troops have also been drawn up to attack the presidential palace in Pyongyang, the capital.

Politicians nowadays don't seem to be very honest.

Campaign promises that won them hard-fought elections don't seem to stick around in

many cases.

That isn't the case with Donald Trump though; including a little promise he made about social

security and not leaving seniors behind.

The Patriot Beacon reports with more:

Trump has refused to levy cuts in the Social Security program or Medicare, saving seniors

much needed money.

Last month, White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney placed a report on his desk that

looked at possible cuts to be placed in Trump's 2017 budget.

I laid to him the options," said Mulvaney.

"And Trump looked at one and said, 'What is that?'

And I said, 'Well, that's a change to part of Social Security.'

He said, 'No.

No.

He said, 'I told people I wouldn't change that when I ran.

And I'm not going to change that.

Take that off the list.'"

Social Security has been under attack by politicians on both sides of the aisle.

Seniors have paid into the program during their entire lives and they deserve to enjoy

its benefits after a lifetime of working hard.

We finally have a president who will take major action to stand up for our seniors.

Instead of attacking Social Security, Trump should look at other spending reforms.

Fraud in the food stamps program alone is at an all-time high, costing taxpayers over

$800 million annually.

Getting rid of waste and abuse would go a long way towards making our government more

efficient and accountable.

No one has done anything remotely beneficial for seniors in at least 16 years.

Trump Completes Task No Other President Has Accomplished In American History | Top Stories Today - Duration: 3:27.

President Donald Trump has set many records since his incredible election on November

8th.

And now, he's just achieved a major accomplishment — no other president in United States history

has reduced the federal debt for a longer period of time than Trump.

GP reports:

When President Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2017 the amount of US Federal Debt owed

both externally and internally was over $19 Trillion at $19,947,304,555,212.

As of August 17th the amount of US Debt had decreased by more than $100 Billion to $19,845,188,460,167.

No President in US history has ever cut the amount of US Debt by this amount and no President

has resided over a debt cut like this ever.

History buffs may say that this is incorrect because President Bill Clinton and President

George W. Bush oversaw US Debt cuts over a period of a few years after the Republican

Congress led by House Speaker Newt Gingrich forced Clinton into signing a balanced budget.

We thought the same, but our analysis determined that this is actually not correct.

Congress did push Clinton into signing a balanced budget but the amount of US debt during this

period actually increased.

This is confirmed through data maintained by the US Treasury at Treasurydirect.gov.

The US Government Accountability Office (GAO) has performed audits since 1997 of the US

Debt amounts outstanding.

In their analysis they show that when accounting for US Debt Held by the Public and US Intergovernmental

Debt Holdings, the amount of US Debt has increased every year since their audits began.

The amount of US Debt Held by the Public decreased each year from 1999, 2000 and 2001 but the

amount Intergovernmental Debt Holdings increased at larger amounts during this period.

The Treasury website does provide daily amounts of debt outstanding but this reporting only

goes back to March 31, 2005.

The Treasury does provide monthly amounts outstanding back through September 30, 2001

and annual amounts back through 1997.

The audited financial statement show the increase in US Debt annually from 1997 through 2016.

We know that no President has reduced the amount of US Debt for a longer period of time

because no President has reduced the amount of US Debt since 1997.

A review of the amount of (unaudited) of US Debt outstanding back through the Civil War

shows that the last time the US Federal Government had a debt decrease between years was when

Republican Eisenhower was President in 1957 and 1958.

He cut the amount of US Debt by $2 Billion each year from $274 Billion in 1956 to $273

Billion in 1957 and again to $271 Billion in 1958.

No president besides Trump has cut the amount of US Debt by $100 Billion ever.

No Members Of Trump's White House Will Go On TV To Defend Him, Not Even On Fox - Duration: 3:29.

Typically on Monday morning, and even Sunday afternoon, most of the news is buzzing with

some of the crazier things that the Trump Administration officials said during their

appearances on the Sunday news talk shows, but this week was a little bit different.

We had no crazy statements to pick apart.

We didn't see Kellyanne Conway's face grace our television screens.

In fact, not one single member of the Trump Administration went on any of the Sunday talk

shows, and that includes not going on any FOX News programs.

According to FOX News themselves, they could not find a single official from the Trump

White House willing to come on their network to talk about the President's really bad week.

Keep in mind, a few days ago, FOX News had to come out and say, "Look, we couldn't even

find any regular Republicans willing to come on and defend the President."

Now, they can't even get members of the Trump Administration to come on and defend him?

Look, I understand if they don't want to send people to go talk with George Stephenopoulos

or Chuck Todd, but not even FOX News?

How bad are things behind the scenes when you won't even go talk to your friends that

helped put you in office?

You know FOX News isn't going to ask you any tough questions.

You know they're probably not going to ask about any of the horrible things that happened

in the last week.

Yet, the Administration is still too afraid to even send anybody in front of those cameras.

Things are pretty bad in the White House, and I think that is a very gross understatement

at this point.

When they're completely unwilling to go out there and spew their lies and hatred like

they've done every single week since they came to power, you know something has devolved

into something even worse behind the scenes.

Donald Trump did arrive back in DC on Sunday evening, so he wasn't even there Sunday morning,

technically, to prevent anyone from going on TV.

I'm sure he issued some kind of order, maybe there's a memo that's going to surface later

on this week, where they said, "For the love of God, don't go out and talk to the media."

Maybe it was General Kelly, Donald Trump's new chief of staff, trying to do some damage

control and preventing these idiots from going on television and actually making things worse.

Because at this point, that's all those people can do.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Kellyanne Conway, Stephen Miller, Sebastion Gorka, there is

nothing they could say at this particular moment that would make anything that Trump

has done in the past week seem better.

All they can do is add fuel to that fire, which, of course, the rest of the media, the

blog world, is going to jump on and absolutely use it to dismantle this administration.

So it was probably a good call that they decided to withhold their people from the Sunday talk

shows but, unfortunately for them, being such a vocal administration, when they finally

go silent, you know something's gone horribly wrong.

After Bannon's Firing, Breitbart & Right Wing Media Declare War On Trump - Duration: 4:02.

On Friday, most Democrats and people who've been paying attention to the Trump Administration

were celebrating the fact that Steve Bannon, the former Breitbart executive, was fired

from his position in the White House.

Now, we also admitted that obviously this does not abdicate the administration's role

in any of the racist bigotry that they've displayed since coming to office, but at least

it's some kind of a tiny little maybe start.

But there's one group that's really not happy about Bannon being fired, and that just happens

to be Republicans.

After Bannon was fired, he immediately went back to Breitbart.

Yes, he is back at Breitbart already, and they have decided that now they're pissed

off with the Trump Administration.

In spite of the fact that both Trump and Pence were tweeting out on Saturday morning how

much they love Steve Bannon, and we thank you for your service, and oh, please don't

spill any of the secrets you know about us.

They may not have said that last one, but that is basically what their we love Steve

Bannon tweets were all about, right?

I don't think Steve Bannon's going to hold back.

Right-wing media outlets, Matt Drudge, Breitbart itself, have now declared some kind of war

against the Trump Administration, though not necessarily against Donald Trump himself.

See, Steve Bannon, and his little friends over at Breitbart, believe that he was pushed

out of the administration by Jared Kushner, and possibly some other folks within the administration,

including H.R. McMaster, Trump's national security advisor.

What they're doing is they're actually starting to run stories trying to take down individual

members of the Trump Administration that they feel are responsible for Bannon's ouster.

H.R. McMaster in particular this past weekend, Breitbart already ran a story, saying that

he was a Quran-kissing terrorist sympathizer, and one can only imagine what they're going

to end up reporting about Jared Kushner once they finally get that ball rolling.

Here's what's interesting about this entire thing, is that Bannon is a guy who knows things

simply for the fact that he was there.

There's a lot more that he could reveal without having to resort to these lies like they're

telling about H.R. McMaster, and the inevitable lies that they're going to tell about Jared

Kushner.

Bannon knows the truth.

Bannon knows things that probably could take these guys down, that actually have a little

bit of credibility to them.

But Breitbart is so ingrained in that whole fake right-wing news media niche that they

won't bother reporting the real damning things about these people, because they know that

their audience can't understand it, so they have to make up these outlandish lies that

their little base will eat up like candy, and that's how they're going to keep people

loyal to Breitbart and not to the Trump Administration.

At the first sign of weakness from the Trump Administration, which Bannon has already hinted

at, Breitbart is going to go at Trump with full force.

Bannon admitted shortly after being fired in an interview that the White House that

we had hoped for, the one that I was a part of, is gone now.

The Trump presidency is over as we know it, is what Bannon said.

He was specifically referring to the policies that Bannon and the Breitbart crowd brought

to the White House, but I think we all know what he really means.

He's waiting for Donald Trump to slip up, to screw up, to break one single promise to

that alt-right Breitbart base, and the second he does, Bannon is coming out guns blazing

with all of the bad information that Donald Trump doesn't want the world

to know.

President Donald Trump has blown out the mainstream media in his latest cabinet confirmation.

On Sunday, Dr. Jerome Adams was sworn in as the United States surgeon general, poking

massive holes in the "alt-left" narrative that the commander in chief is a purported

"racist."

Adams is the 20th surgeon general to hold the official position.

"To be confirmed as the 20th US Surgeon General is truly an indescribable honor,"

Adams tweeted.

CNBC reports:

Adams is an anesthesiologist who previously served as the Indiana state health commissioner

— "in essence the Surgeon General for Indiana," he said in a statement to the

Senate committee.

Prior to that, he served as a staff anesthesiologist and assistant professor of anesthesia at the

Indiana University School of Medicine, where he completed his medical degree.

He earned undergraduate degrees in biochemistry and biopsychology and a master's degree

in public health.

"The addictive properties of prescription opioids is a scourge in America and it must

be stopped," wrote Adams in his nomination committee statement.

He added that he shared US Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price's top priorities,

including "the opioid epidemic, and untreated mental illness, which lie at the root of much

of the current situation."

"I bring to this discussion a unique perspective, and a proven track record of bringing together

various groups to address the problem," Adams wrote in his statement.

In May 2015, he revealed that his brother is an addict during testimony at a House Energy

and Commerce Committee.
