Corporate Polluters, Scammers, and Criminals See Big Trump Benefits - Duration: 3:26.

An environment watchdog group has released a startling statistic.

Since Donald Trump took office, fines for corporate polluters have fallen by more than

60%.

Instead of holding corporations accountable when they poison our air and our water and

even our people, they appear to be getting a free pass from the current administration.

Of course, this isn't much of a surprise considering how connected our government is to industry.

Joining me now to talk about this is Farron Cousins, he's the executive editor for the

Trial Lawyer magazine.

Farron, incredible.

What's happened in the last six months.

You talk about the corporate payoff.

Oh absolutely, and that's exactly what corporations wanted.

What's happened in the last six, seven months is that they're getting everything they've

ever wanted, which was a 60%, they'd prefer 100% reduction in these fines when they do

go out there and they dump things into our water or spew things into the atmosphere,

they are not being held accountable.

Now, don't get me wrong.

Enforcement was very lax under Obama and Bush and Clinton before him, but even with that

lax enforcement, things have essentially at this point just absolutely fallen off a cliff

and we're not getting those fines and punishments, essentially, that we need to have in this

country.

Isn't part of the problem ... I mean, corporate America is making so much money right now.

Making more than they've ever made in the history of this planet.

Literally.

That is not a statistic that's overstated.

So, with all that money, aren't they able to go to the agencies and they're able to

get the folks that are working for the agencies to come to work with them?

They say, "Joe, when you get done with what you're doing, come talk to us.

We have about a $400,000 paycheck for you."

That goes on every day.

It's like the American public actually believes that the EPA or FDA or the SEC is out protecting

them.

What is your take on that?

It's absolutely true.

We've seen this in full swing for the last 17 years, really, where either the people

running these regulatory agencies came from industry or once they leave there, they go

right into industry.

They're not there to hold people accountable.

They're not there to do their jobs.

They're making job connections.

They're trying to meet people that they know they can send a resume to once they leave

office instead of somebody that they can send a fine or a subpoena to while they're serving

this country.

They're not doing what they're supposed to be doing; they're worried about their own

career and longevity at that point.

Yeah, they actually call these positions "career-holding places."

Career holding places.

Really quickly, what are the important fines that we're seeing differences with?

Well, the big thing is that we need these fines.

This isn't just about we want to take your money.

We use those fines to clean up the water, to clean up the air, to clean up the environment,

to provide medical monitoring for people when they get poisoned.

That's what these fines are about and if we do not pull those in, we do not clean up the

mess that corporations have caused.

Taxpayers have to foot the bill.

What the corporation does is they put all their garbage in a river, for example, and

they say, "We made a big profit by not having to do this right.

Now let's let the taxpayers have to pay for this clean up and our stockholders are gonna

make a lot more money."

Yeah, that's exactly the process and that goes on every day in this country, and under

Trump, it's happening more and more.

BREAKING:GARY COHN TAKES ON TRUMP ADMINISTRATION OVER CHARLOTTESVILLE | Trump News 8/25/2017 - Duration: 7:26.

person Former National Spokesperson for the Trump campaign Katrina Pierson

Katrina I know that the president has spoken to Greg Abbott the governor of Texas also

John Bel Edwards the Governor of Louisiana yesterday in preparation for this hurricane

And this will be fema director brock long's first challenge in his new post as well as the president's first time facing

Such a serious natural disaster. Do you believe that the president and the administration are prepared for this hurricane I?

Do dagen and you know his fema director has received bipartisan praise for his experience. They are definitely

Preparing here in my state, and you know we're no strangers to hurricanes here, but and the president's always been concerned

With the people of this country and making sure that states have the resources that they need to take care of themselves

Do you expect the president will be it will?

You know quote how closely will he be monitoring the developments tonight and in the day in the days Following Katrina

Because that's really the concern is that

the that the storm will linger and the heavy rainfall in the area, oh

Absolutely, I think the president is going to be keeping a very close watch on

Texas and the coast for that matter there's a lot of oil rigs out there as well

So that's going to impact the economy

But you know I don't want to get ahead of ourselves here this we don't know exactly what's going to happen we've seen these things

Come barreling ahead and die down so my hopes and prayers are that that's exactly what happens for our friends down south

Yeah, and your Katrina. You're from Texas originally, right?

Clos absolutely, and I'm here the rest of this week housing some some friends of mine coming in from Houston

And you know like I said hopefully it won't be that bad

But if so the president and the administration are definitely going to be paying attention

Minute by minute through the next few days to see what's going to happen

Katrina One of Shift Gears

In the financial times just came out with an interview that they did with Gary Cohn the President's Chief economic adviser

Koan is making his first public comments following Charlottesville and just here's some of what he he said the this

administration can and must do better in

consistently and

unequivocally

Condemning these groups and do everything that we can to heal the deep divisions that exist in our communities

I have come under enormous pressure to both resign and to remain in my current position

He's talking about the events after

Charlottesville, he's talking about condemning nazis and white supremacists by name but Katrina wanted to get your

reaction to this

well, you know as the president has said he has done a number of times of condemning these types of hate groups even throughout the

campaign for that matter

But no one wants to talk about that

And the president was very candid he was very honest in

His statement in the second one when he said he didn't have all the details at first and in the end when he came out

With the press conference was very clear

has been talking about it ever since and you know this is a president who does not walk the

Racially political line because he doesn't pay attention to to the race issue

He sees everyone as individuals as people as potential and when these kinds of things happen the president is learning to

To be more quick about it

Because he does believe that this country is one country and the people here are also one and he's going to do more to

Show that

it

One of the a couple of quotes that stood out in the article where citizens standing up for equality and freedom can never be equated

With white supremacist neo Nazis in the Kkk as a Jewish American

I will not allow neo-Nazis ranting jews will not replace us to cause this jew to leave his job

I feel deep empathy for all of those who have been targeted by these hate groups

But we must all unite together against them

are these statements part of that unity or part of that healing somehow and

To the point where gary cohn ever give this interview Katrina unless he had cleared it with the president

You know I'm not sure I have not spoken to Mr.

Comb but I will say that constantly condemning these types of group groups. I believe is very helpful

It is disgusting to see these types of groups that are still out there

Unfortunately the media does continue to give them a platform

Unfortunately, we're going to have to deal with that through this resistance movement, but I also think that this is also an opportunity to

Highlight that and to show where the media is constantly trying to drive

These false narratives against the president of course the president isn't racist of course he condemns hate groups

He loves all Americans. He loves people in general

I think you're going to see more of that moving forward in will shift to

The Agenda the administration is still pushing for both health care and tax reform despite opposition's

Frankly opposition on both sides of the aisle leading republican lawmakers admit that the process is a struggle watch this

I'm often asked what is being the majority leader the senate like?

The best answer I've been able to think of is it's a little bit like being a groundskeeper at a cemetery

Everybody's under you, but nobody's listening. It's a day-By-day deal

I'm told I'm kind of joking we're in constant contact to try and put together a shared agenda

Which we agree on and we're working together to move that shared agenda

Katrine the President is going to be heading to Missouri

To basically help push

the the tax overhaul it's expected to be the first of several presidential stops in the coming weeks as he

Really tries to make a push. This is something

He was not doing

When the health care the repeal and replace was moved moving through the house and the senate is this going to make a difference him?

Out there and sell in tax reform to the American people

Well, you know I keep hearing that argument Daga

And I got to say why does the president have to go out and push for Health Care obamacare repeal?

This is something that the party has been pushing for seven

years

So one would think that they would just do their jobs and represent their constituency

Particularly those who actually voted for the president on though on that basis, but I do think this is going to help

I think it's going to be a constant reminder of where the president is where the people of the party are?

versus where the republican establishment is because if we're here today after

making promises for years nearly a decade and

Suddenly the Republicans can't seem to push forward the policies that they themselves have been promoting then we have a problem

And I think this is the president's way of getting out to the people and showing them that if this does not get done

It's not on his hands because he's going to be in his office holding his pen waiting for that bill to come to his office

Katrina it looks good to see you this morning. I know we covered a lot of great

Thank you for that Katrina Pierson, please come back soon

TRUMP'S TUSH - Closer to the END - a SCARAMUCCI SATIRE - Duration: 3:37.

Hey Fam, it's me - Donna. There's always some kind of

REALITY TV Show at the White House, so let's check out what's happening today.

Good afternoon my name is Tony Scaratucci, but everybody they calls me The TUSH.

And I brought my violin, in case anybody causes any trouble. DON TRUMP-A-LONEY

has axed me here today to tell all yous reporters about loyalty.

I don't hear any objections do I?

Yes I have an objection

Ya FIRED! Anyways, where was I, Oh yeah. Loyalty. Never questione

anything the DON says. If he wants to take away your health care - -

Let him! If he wants to tax the middle class and give more money to the rich -

tell him it's a good idea the DON knows what he's doin'.

The Don is the most loyal person in the entire universe.

Not always, sometimes he just says -

You're FIRED!

The TUSH is in town, and there's gonna be trouble... Hey Nah... Hey Nah..

Anyways where was I?

Oh yeah, Loyalty.

Don't axe what the country can do for yous. Axe what yous can do for

the DON. For example, last night, after the DON took his dump - whoo I mean it

was stinky. Well, the Queen was next in line. I didn't let her sniff the foul odor that

came from his business, so what I do? I snucks in front of her Majesty and

pretends the stink bomb came from me.

That's what I'm talking about ,

when I'm talking about loyalty.

No! DON! I didn't mean - I didn't mean - the stuff

that comes from your butt stinks. I meant...

You're FIRED!

Sees what I'm talking about.

Loyalty, to the very END.

Come on, I mean,

how else did you think it was gonna end.

Unless it was a ploy and maybe

maybe the TUSH wasn't even fired and maybe the TUSH is gonna return to

Talk Shows and preach the words of the DON - over and over again

Nah...

That's not really gonna happen

(singing) The TUSH is in town and there's gonna be trouble...

Hey Nah... Hey Naaaah

Hey Nah... Hey Naaaah

In Trump's Warped Mind, Everything Is Someone Else's Fault - Duration: 5:34.

Donald Trump has been basically in a tirade on Twitter, pretty much since he became President

of the United States, but specifically in the last week or two, going after Republicans

in the House and the Senate and preemptively blaming them for things that have not yet

happened or things that actually didn't even happen.

For example, one of the tirades he went on and has been going on even this morning, was

about the need to get rid of the filibuster in the Senate, because it's allowing eight

Democrats, as the President says, to control everything that comes out of that Senate,

and it's because of the filibuster that the Senate was unable to pass their version of

Trumpcare.

As it turns out, that's not true.

The Senate tried to do it under reconciliation, which requires a simple majority vote, and

they still weren't able to get majority vote.

Trump doesn't understand parliamentary procedure, so he assumes it's the filibuster, or maybe

he just needed a reason to go out there and attack Democrats and Republicans.

The more interesting part of the story is the preemptive blame that Donald Trump is

trying to lay at the feet of Republicans in the House of Representatives because he doesn't

think they're going to be able to pass legislation to increase the debt ceiling, which would

then mean that the budget wouldn't pass, which would mean we were likely heading for a government

shutdown.

Trump himself has actually already threatened to shut down the federal government if we

do not give him the funding he wants for his border wall, so I don't know why he would

think that the public would believe him when he already says that a government shutdown

would be the fault of the Republicans, because he's the one who said he wants to do it.

Here's the thing about Donald Trump, and this is something I think everybody mostly understands

but, if you don't, pay attention now.

Donald Trump blames everyone else for anything bad that happens in his life, during his presidency

or whatever.

It is always the fault of someone else.

Conversely, Donald Trump always takes credit for the good things that other people do that

he wasn't even involved in.

Case in point, the economy.

We're still adding jobs each month.

Donald Trump, though he says he's doing that, clearly doesn't want the public to know that

up until about mid-September, we're still operating under the last budget put in place

by President Barack Obama.

This is still Obama's economy until September, and then Trump takes over.

That's how it works.

Furthermore, he won't take the blame when the stock market took a massive dive after

his response to Charlottesville, and he didn't take any blame whatsoever when the stock market

took a massive dive after his rally in Phoenix.

He did, however, take huge credit for the fact that the stock market reached an all-time

high two days in a row about a month ago.

See, the good things are always him.

The bad things are always someone else, and that is one of the hallmark traits of Donald

Trump's mental illness, which is known as narcissistic personality disorder.

Look in the DSM file, look at the symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder, and

tell me that those couldn't be a biography of Donald Trump himself.

That's what we're dealing with.

It is a mental illness.

Does it make him unfit to lead?

A lot of people think so, but that would be up to a medical professional to fully give

that diagnosis.

I do not have a PhD, I will not issue my opinion on whether or not he should resign.

I do think, for the most part, that it is hindering him, obviously.

Donald Trump needs to understand that when you're in the highest office in the land,

everything is your fault.

That's how it was with Barack Obama.

Do you remember the Republicans?

Everything that happened in this country and, honestly, all over the world, was directly

the fault of President Obama.

The Black Lives Matter Movement, that was the fault of Barack Obama.

Cops shooting unarmed black people, that was also somehow Obama's fault.

When he first came to office, dealing with the recession that George W. Bush left him,

on day one, it was immediately Obama's fault, even though we were still operating under

that Bush budget.

Donald Trump won't accept any blame for anything.

Meanwhile, Obama got blamed for everything, including the things he had nothing to do

with, and he took it in stride.

He used it to make himself better and to try to make this country better.

He didn't sit there and whine on Twitter about people being unfair, the media being unfair,

even when they were calling him a Muslim Kenyan who lied about his birth certificate.

Both FOX News and Donald Trump himself made those claims, but he didn't piss and moan

and act like a child.

He got things done, and that's the difference between a real leader and what we have today.

Trump's New Chief Of Staff Trying To Limit The President's Access To Fake News - Duration: 4:01.

We're starting to get signs that the new White House Chief of Staff, John Kelly, might actually

be trying to rein in Donald Trump at least a little bit.

Recently both Chief of Staff John Kelly and staff director Rob Porter both sent out memos

to members of the White House staff and everyone in the Cabinet, explaining how the new process

for giving information to Donald Trump is going to work.

Basically, John Kelly says that, "Anything you want to give to Donald Trump has to be

vetted by me first."

This includes information about executive orders Donald Trump wants to sign.

John Kelly wants to make sure that we get agency input on these, and yes, it's going

to slow the process down, but it's going to make sure that everybody has their input before

it's presented to Donald Trump.

Again, executive orders, any kind of military information, but most importantly, and the

part that seems to be overlooked in the reporting on this, is that John Kelly wants any news

articles that people want to give to the president, to go through him first.

What Kelly is trying to do here, is limit the president's access to real fake news.

Not CNN or Washington Post or New York Times, but news sources like Fox News or Breitbart

or Daily Caller.

He wants to make sure that the president isn't solely relying on those horrid news sources

that consistently report lies, likes that the president chooses to act on, he basis

policy around them.

Remember when he saw that documentary on Fox News about a military strike that happened

years ago?

He was ready to go start bombing people because he thought it was a current event.

John Kelly is trying to prevent the president from being so stupid, to put it in it's simplest

terms here.

Will that stop Donald Trump?

Absolutely not.

Donald Trump is still going to consume all of the Fox News and other fake news sources

that he wants to, but John Kelly just wants to make sure that staffers are not feeding

him this particular information.

We have seen in the past, that staffers are handing Donald Trump the so called fake news

stories, they're more positive and they tend to paint the president in a better light and

paint liberals in a very negative one, and that is what Donald Trump has based his entire

presidency on.

John Kelly, to his credit, is trying to tighten things up a little bit, maybe make Donald

Trump not so volatile and disliked among the American public.

The latest polls out this week show that his approval rating has dropped to 34%.

Again, the lowest that a president who is only seven months into their first term, has

ever received in this country.

At this point in his presidency he is the least popular president ever.

John Kelly hopes to change that, but unfortunately, stopping the flow of fake news or getting

more people to vet executive orders isn't going to do that, because 90% of what people

hate about Donald Trump is his brash, disgusting personality, and you can wall him off from

Breitbart and Fox News all you want, but it's not going to change the character of this

man, and that is the thing that most people in this country have such a problem with.

Trump Officials Try To Rewrite Study To Make Renewable Energy Look Bad - Duration: 3:55.

A few months ago, a draft version of the Department of Energy's energy grid study was released,

and it showed that everything that the Trump administration and Republicans had been saying

about renewable energy was completely false.

Renewable energy was not overloading our power grids.

It was not taking up space that could be better spent on nuclear energy or coal firepower

plants.

In fact, that report showed that our energy grid today, even with renewable energy growing

at an exponential rate, is stronger than ever.

Obviously, Rick Perry, the Secretary of Energy, along with Donald Trump and the other Republicans

in the administration ... They weren't happy that this report showed how well renewable

energy was doing, and how much market share was gaining, and how much stronger our electrical

grid in the United States was because of it.

So, before the final draft of this report came out, which was this past Wednesday evening,

Rick Perry and his Department of Energy took it upon themselves to rewrite those flattering

things about renewable energy and make the entire study about how horrible renewable

energy is, and how it is killing coal, killing nuclear, and killing our electrical grid in

the United States.

There's just one problem.

They didn't delete all of the information that they wanted to delete, so the statements

that they did take out, where they were saying that renewable energy was beneficial, that

it was good for the power grid, and that the power grid was strong ... They took those

out.

They took out the part that said that renewable energy is not killing coal or nuclear, and

that renewable energy subsidies are not hurting those industries.

But later on in the report, those points were echoed again, and I guess poor, little Rick

Perry didn't think to read through the whole thing.

And so those statements got left in, directly contradicting what they had already taken

out, and rewritten.

The bottom line is this: Rick Perry came from Texas.

He was an oil guy.

Oil put him in office.

Oil funded his campaigns, and he thinks that he can go to be the Secretary of Energy, and

just rewrite everything to make it look like renewable, solar, and wind are actually somehow

hurting the United States, when in reality it's the coal companies.

It's the oil companies.

It's the dirty energy polluters who are overloading our power grid, who are unable to keep up

with demand, and who do not understand that the rest of the world is evolving, and the

United States has to evolve with it.

Rick Perry is not evolving, and believe me, he needs to.

But this little snafu with their report, where they tried to be sneaky and show the public

that renewable energy is bad, just proves at how stupid they are because they are so

dumb that they can't even successfully sabotage their own paper, because they didn't bother

to continue reading the entire thing.

That's the level of stupid that we are dealing with with this Trump administration, and until

we get them removed from office, it's going to be more stories like this.

It's going to be more instances of pure, brain dead stupidity from people like Rick Perry

and Donald Trump, because going full stupid is the only thing they know how

to do.

Staffer In Charge Of Finding Positive Trump News Stories Resigns From White House - Duration: 3:43.

A few weeks ago, we did a story about a man named Andy Hemming, the 31 year old Donald

Trump staffer whose job it was to gather mainstream media articles about Donald Trump that were

positive and then present them to the President twice a day for Donald Trump to get his, I

guess, twice daily dose of feel-good-isms.

Well, on Wednesday of this week, Mr. Hemming decided that he couldn't do this anymore,

and he officially resigned from Donald Trump's staff.

His official title was Director of Rapid Response for the White House Communications Team, and

in addition to feeding the President positive news stories about himself, he was also supposed

to communicate with members of the mainstream media, CNN, Washington Post, credible news

sources like that, and tell them all the good things that the President had accomplished

so that maybe these news outlets that Donald Trump was attacking relentlessly every single

day would go out there and report a positive story about the man who claims that these

news outlets are just fake news.

Obviously it didn't go to well, so, though we don't have a huge, in depth reason that

Mr. Hemming decided to resign his position in the White House, that leaves it open for

speculation.

So if part of your job is gathering up positive news stories about Donald Trump and then you

suddenly resign, maybe it's because there are no positive news stories about Donald

Trump because he hasn't done anything positive.

If the other part of your job is telling the media the positive things he does and then

you resign, we can only assume it's because you have nothing positive left to say to these

people.

It must have been tiring going to these news outlets that Donald Trump demonizes on Twitter

and during rallies every single day and saying, "Hey, look, I know he just tweeted out a picture

of you getting hit by a train, but would you consider running this story about how great

he did at the golf course today?"

I can imagine that's going to get pretty frustrating pretty quick, and I can also imagine that

the, uh, media outlets probably had some not so friendly words for Mr. Hemming anytime

he pitched them a story about this man-baby of a President that we have, that only wants

to see positive stories about himself but doesn't understand that in order for people

to write positive stories, you have to actually do good things.

Mr. Hemming's job was solely to play to Donald Trump's narcissistic personality disorder.

That is what this is all about, that is what his position was all about, and hopefully

Mr. Hemming started to realize that, especially once the press started paying attention to

who he was, what he was doing, and the fact that he was making just shy of $90,000 a year

to hand Donald Trump a folder full of positive news stories.

Maybe that pressure got to him a bit.

Maybe the public scrutiny was a little too much.

But I'm going to go with he probably left his job because there was nothing positive

left to say or even lie about with regards to Donald Trump.

POLL: Who Is To Blame For Trump's Electoral Victory? - Duration: 2:24.

A very interesting new report came out earlier this week, that showed that of the people

who voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary for the 2016 election, 12% of them defected

to Donald Trump for the presidential election instead of voting for Hilary Clinton.

The Hilary Clinton supporters, the establishment democrats, have used this to show that those

Bernie Sanders people absolutely cost Hilary Clinton the 2016 election.

However, if they would have read a little further in to the report, they would have

seen that 12% of republican primary voters flipped from Donald Trump to Hilary Clinton

in that same election, so essentially it was a wash.

Furthermore, the report also said that in 2008, 25% of Hilary Clinton Supporters voted

for John McCain instead of Barrack Obama.

Barrack Obama still won even after losing 25% of the Hilary Clinton Supporters, so it

makes you wonder if that really is the case.

But it has unfortunately once again, re-litigated the 2016 election and got people to start

talking once again about why the democrats lost and why Donald Trump won.

While all the experts are running through their myriad reasons, we want to hear what

you think.

We want to know what our viewers, American voters actually think cost the democrats the

election and gave Trump the victory.

Was it Hilary Clinton's awful campaign?

Was it Bernie Sander's supporters defecting?

Was it Sanders himself?

Was it James Comey?

Was it Russia?

Was it the people who actually voted for Donald Trump?

We've got a poll right now on patreon.com/theringoffire, it is a public poll you do not have to be

we want to hear from you.
