 The Knavs were sworn in as U.S. citizens on Thursday in Lower Manhattan, The New York Times reported

Melania Trump, originally from Slovenia, sponsored her parents so they could obtain a green card before applying for U

S. citizenship. The first lady herself was granted citizenship in 2006.  "It went well and they are very grateful and appreciative of this wonderful day for their family," the Knavs' lawyer, Michael Wildes, said in a statement

 When the Times asked Wildes if the Knavs obtained their citizenship through family-based immigration ― often pejoratively referred to as "chain migration" ― Wildes was vague

 "I suppose," he told the publication. "It's a dirty ― a dirtier word. It stands for a bedrock of our immigration process when it comes to family reunification

"  The idea that family-based immigration could be labeled as "dirty" might have a lot to do with the Knavs' son-in-law

In November, Trump railed against the process on Twitter.  "CHAIN MIGRATION must end now!" he tweeted

His ancestors followed family members to the U.S., his Miss Universe business attracted top candidates by agreeing to help obtain green cards or work authorization for their families, and his parents-in-law are likely citizens because of it

"And when they find talent, they generally want to negotiate family members to make sure their lives are more robust and meaningful

Trump wants NFL to suspend players who protest - Duration: 0:56.

The NFL preseason got underway Thursday night, and protests

during the national anthem continued. Not surprisingly,

President Trump isn't happy about it. In a pair of tweets

Friday morning, Trump criticized the players who protested,

saying they should "Stand proudly for your National Anthem

or be Suspended Without Pay!" The players kneel during the

anthem to protest social injustice, but in his tweets,

Trump questioned that motivation and urged them to "find another

way to protest." The NFL had planned to enforce a new rule

this season requiring players and league personnel to either

stand during the anthem or remain in the locker room. But

after the players fought back against the change, both sides

agreed to put it on hold. The NFL confirmed Friday morning

that players who protest currently don't face fines or

other consequences. But the league also reiterated that

players are expected to stand, and those who don't want to are

encouraged to remain in the locker room during the anthem.

knowingly with the Russians related to anything about the campaign so what else

is there to investigate in terms of collusion so there's a Landon who will

stop it how does it in because it is a travesty I think the president needs to

take executive or legal steps to stop it at this point because the Justice

Department isn't going to do it but look at this ridiculous man of Ford

prosecution that's going on out in a special counsel's office we don't need a

special counsel to do that the fact that they're letting the special counsel

target Manta Ford over the cost of his suits and mortgage fraud and bankruptcy

and takes steps to control Muller and constrain him you know even in a

reasonable way to focus on what he was hired to do well the the judge in that

case has had a number of opportunities to stop the the trial to recognize that

it was a contrivance the prosecution by the Special Counsel from dead files in

the Department of Justice which had already made decisions not to process

not to prosecute manna fort so it is remarkable in that regard it has nothing

that the potential for voter fraud is immense

registrations in this country of people who

registered to vote in more than one state and even the president's own

President Obama's own Commission on election administration in 2013 noted

that 16 million voter registrations are significantly inaccurate or flawed in

some states it's up to fifteen percent or one in seven and you talk about the

issues of nationwide irregularity there's two hundred and forty eight

counties in this nation that have more registered voters than legal residents

of voting age so clearly there's a problem in this idea that there aren't

organized efforts paid for by George Soros to go out and manipulate those

exploitation that's just inconsistent with what I

found in my book and and and and the fact is that Soros is spending tens of

millions of dollars to pursue an election system that would be the envy

of the or the KGB or the SRU they if they're trying to meddle we have

enough people colluding with the Russians in that effort certainly

inspired by George Soros his money and the organizations that he is funding

yeah you hear a lot about this idea of Russian collusion in fact when I told

people I was writing a book on voter fraud is that oh so it's gonna be about

the Russians right and look we should clearly be concerned about any threat to

election security but I think it's silly to assume that somehow Russians are less

concerned about manipulating American political outcomes than the Democrats

yeah I do think by the way that we should know and be concerned about it we

should be safeguarding the integrity of these elections there should be

Republicans and Democrats at every polling booth in the country polling

to secure funding for his border wall.

Establishment Republicans like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell are trying to downplay this

possibility because they buy into the fake news media narrative that a shutdown would

destroy the GOP's chances of hanging onto their majorities.

But President Trump understands that ten red state Democrats are running for re-election

in November and Trump's immigration policies are popular in those states.

The pressure is on those Democrats because they can either alienate their base – which

is not big enough to win – or appeal to the broader, more Republican electorate.

And cracks are already showing in the Democrats usually solid opposition.

Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly, maybe the most endangered Democrat Senator running for re-election,

made a surprise announcement about the upcoming border wall funding fight.

In an exclusive interview, Donnelly told Politico he was willing to side with Donald Trump and

vote for border wall funding in September.

JOE DONNELLY (D-IND.), WHO IS FACING A NEW ROUND OF ADS CRITICIZING HIS POSITION ON IMMIGRATION

THIS WEEK, SAID THAT TRUMP SHOULD GET MUCH MORE THAN THE $1.6 BILLION THE SENATE APPROPRIATIONS

COMMITTEE HAS BEEN PREPARING TO SEND HIM.

TRUMP HAS REPEATEDLY THREATENED TO SHUT THE GOVERNMENT DOWN EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE

ELECTION WITHOUT A SIGNIFICANT INFUSION OF MONEY TO FULFILL HIS SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN PROMISE,

OFTEN TELLING LAWMAKERS HE WANTS $5 BILLION IN THE SEPTEMBER SPENDING BILL.

THE MODERATE DEMOCRAT SAYS HE DOES "NOT WANT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES" A SHUTDOWN.

SO HE SAID CONGRESS SHOULD "ABSOLUTELY" PROVIDE THE PRESIDENT WITH A LARGER AMOUNT

I ACTUALLY VOTED FOR BORDER WALL FUNDING THREE DIFFERENT TIMES," DONNELLY SAID IN AN INTERVIEW

I'M FINE WITH $3 [BILLION], $3.5, $4 OR $5" BILLION THIS FALL."

Republicans are going to need at least nine Democrats to flip their votes to win passage

of border wall funding.

And while the fake news media's conventional wisdom is that this is a bad fight for the

GOP, the reality is the exact opposite.

Immigration fires up the GOP base.

Red state Democrats know that siding with coastal liberals like Chuck Schumer on immigration

will alienate their constituents in Middle America and sign their own political death

warrant.

Donnelly may be the first Democrat to fold a losing hand and join Trump in supporting

border wall funding.

Or he could be the only Democrat Senator who jumps ship.

But one thing is for certain – Donald Trump has the advantage in this fight and the pressure

is on the Democrats.

Trump.

Wehner has been working behind the scenes with his "Never Trump" allies like Bill

Kristol to shut down the President for a long time.

But Trump is just one person on his long list of conservatives that he's been targeting

for many years.

Throughout former President Obama's presidency, Wehner used every opportunity he could find

to bash conservatives in the Tea Party.

Wehner will attack any movement or person that is a threat to his neo-conservative and

crony capitalist agenda.

It was people like Peter Wehner who perverted the Republican brand of the Reagan-era and

nearly killed the entire party.

He is an elitist establishment mouthpiece who spends his free time vehemently working

to shut down any person, or movement, who tries to bring the Republican Party back to

the days of Reagan.

But a new bombshell report just proved everyone's worst fears.

On March 4th, Trump tweeted that he found out Obama wiretapped Trump Tower.

The D.C. swamp – led by former FBI Director James Comey – claimed there was no evidence

to back Trump up.

But CNN shocked the political world when they reported that the Obama administration had

former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort under surveillance using a secret FISA warrant.

The administration was spying on Manafort before and after the election.

This time period included when Manafort lived in Trump Tower and was known to speak regularly

to Trump.

CNN reports:

"A SECRET ORDER AUTHORIZED BY THE COURT THAT HANDLES THE FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE SURVEILLANCE

ACT (FISA) BEGAN AFTER MANAFORT BECAME THE SUBJECT OF AN FBI INVESTIGATION THAT BEGAN

IN 2014.

IT CENTERED ON WORK DONE BY A GROUP OF WASHINGTON CONSULTING FIRMS FOR UKRAINE'S FORMER RULING

PARTY, THE SOURCES TOLD CNN.

THE SURVEILLANCE WAS DISCONTINUED AT SOME POINT LAST YEAR FOR LACK OF EVIDENCE, ACCORDING

TO ONE OF THE SOURCES.

THE FBI THEN RESTARTED THE SURVEILLANCE AFTER OBTAINING A NEW FISA WARRANT THAT EXTENDED

AT LEAST INTO EARLY THIS YEAR.

SOURCES SAY THE SECOND WARRANT WAS PART OF THE FBI'S EFFORTS TO INVESTIGATE TIES BETWEEN

TRUMP CAMPAIGN ASSOCIATES AND SUSPECTED RUSSIAN OPERATIVES.

SUCH WARRANTS REQUIRE THE APPROVAL OF TOP JUSTICE DEPARTMENT AND FBI OFFICIALS, AND

THE FBI MUST PROVIDE THE COURT WITH INFORMATION SHOWING SUSPICION THAT THE SUBJECT OF THE

WARRANT MAY BE ACTING AS AN AGENT OF A FOREIGN POWER."

But the wiretap provided no evidence of collusion.

CNN also reports:

"SOME OF THE INTELLIGENCE COLLECTED INCLUDES COMMUNICATIONS THAT SPARKED CONCERNS AMONG

INVESTIGATORS THAT MANAFORT HAD ENCOURAGED THE RUSSIANS TO HELP WITH THE CAMPAIGN, ACCORDING

TO THREE SOURCES FAMILIAR WITH THE INVESTIGATION.

TWO OF THESE SOURCES, HOWEVER, CAUTIONED THAT THE EVIDENCE IS NOT CONCLUSIVE."

Despite all the denials, it was true that the Obama administration spied on the Trump

campaign.

It's the worst scandal in American political history and Obama must answer for his role

on using the intelligence community to wiretap his political opponents as part of a fishing

expedition.

Trump's Treasury Department Just Made Greedy Banks Even Richer - Duration: 3:16.

According to a great new report by journalist, David Sirota, the US Treasury Department led

by former banker, Steve Mnuchin, is actually preparing to give big banks yet another tax

cut.

And this is a tax cut that actually doesn't have to be approved by anybody other than

the Treasury Department.

Here's the backstory that Sirota explains in his piece here.

When they were coming up with the original Republican tax cut package towards the end

of last year, they wanted to make it so that any company registered as an S corporation,

or an LLC, or anything like that, they were given an extra tax cut on what is called pass

through income.

Now, this would have also applied to many big banks.

It also applies to many real estate companies like Donald Trump's companies.

So, Republicans, after a lot of pushback on this said, "Okay, you know what, we're going

to say that if you provide financial services, you don't get this extra pass through income

tax cut."

Which obviously, if you provide financial services that would include big banks.

Well, the Treasury Department is actually working to rewrite that so that the official

role of big banks in the United States is not in the financial services industry, and

therefore they would now be eligible for this $2.5 billion pass through income tax cut.

The Treasury Department that is being run by a former banker is now trying to rewrite

reality so that banks aren't actually financial service institutions just so that he can give

them more money.

Now, this is something that for the last few months again, according to Sirota, the banks

have been lobbying for.

They've been meeting with Mnuchin and other members of the Treasury because they know

that they can change this rule without having to go through Congress.

And in most cases, had it not been for people like David Sirota, they could have done it

without anybody even noticing.

But Sirota was one of the few people that actually took the time to read the fine print

of this rule that the treasury department is drafting.

He did his homework.

He is a phenomenal journalist, and we need more people like him out there in the United

States today.

The bottom line is this though, the Treasury Department is going to do this.

Big banks are about to get another massive tax cut at a time when their profits are reaching

all-time highs.

They're screwing over consumers, they're being deregulated, they're engaging in the same

kind of risky behavior that led to the crash of 2007 and 2008.

And we're rewarding them with more money and fewer people looking over their shoulders

to make sure that they aren't breaking the law.

This is what happens when you have a government that is run by former corporate executives

and people who always consistently put the desires of corporations over the needs of

the people.

And unfortunately, that is exactly the kind of government that we have today.

Donald Trump promised to be America's dealmaker in chief, touting his "extraordinary"

ability to negotiate.

But, so far, Trump has shown he can't make a deal.

Here's the list of no-deals:

1.

No deal with North Korea.

Following his summit with Kim Jong Un, Trump declared on Twitter that "there is no longer

a nuclear threat" from North Korea.

But in fact, there's no deal.

Kim conceded nothing on weapons and missile programs.

Recent satellite imagery shows North Korea is actually improving its nuclear capability.

2.

No deal with Russia.

"There has been nobody tougher on Russia than President Donald Trump."

Russia agreed to nothing, while Trump gave away the store, even casting doubt on Russia's

collusion in the 2016 election in the face of the conclusions of America's own intelligence

agencies.

3.

No deal with China on trade.

Instead, we're on the brink of a trade war with

China, which is retaliating against U.S. tariffs.

4.

No deal with Europe on trade.

Instead, Europe has merely agreed to negotiate towards a resolution of the trade war Trump

provoked in the first place.

5.

No deal on Iran.

Trump announced America's exit from the Iran nuclear deal and since then, no negotiations.

6.

No deal on climate change.

Trump simply pulled out of the Paris accords.

There have been no negotiations since.

7.

No deal with the Group of 7 leading economic powers.

Instead, Trump just pulled out of the joint communique.

8.

No deal on immigration or the DREAMers.

9.

No budget deal with Congress.

10.

No deal on replacing the Affordable Care Act.

Trump and the Republican Congress never agreed to a new plan.

11.

No deal on gun control.

After the Parkland shooting, Trump promised to tighten background checks for gun buyers

and said he'd consider raising the age for buying certain types of guns.

Instead, he bowed to the NRA.

Bottom line: Trump can't make deals.

He can only pull out of deals already made, or pretend he's made deals that soon evaporate,

or give away the store.

He's perfected the art of the no deal.
