'The View' Host Insults Trump, So California Republican Unleashes Hell On The Show

In today's toxic political environment, it's incredibly challenging for rational

thinkers to get their points across.

This is especially true in the incredibly biased left-leaning talk show environment,

as those that suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome have absolutely no interest in having

a rational discussion that centers on the facts.

In the world of those that host such programs, President Donald Trump is the worst thing

in the history of mankind.

As such, they go out of their way to twist the narrative while getting in the requisite

potshots at those that don't see the world the same way that they do.

Enter the horrible show entitled 'The View.'

This show is full of liberal, negative women who use the platform to push their own horrendous

agenda onto America.

How can there be any good viewpoints when you only hear the left-leaning one all the

time?

However, they do get their comeuppance from time to time, and it's nothing short of

glorious when it happens.

And we have a California Republican candidate and former actor setting the record straight

on their direct attacks against President Trump and his border wall.

The Daily Caller:

"The way I see it, I want the American people to be taken care of first," Sabato, who

is running for Congress in California, responded.

"I don't want the American people to take care of everybody else's problem…"

"But if they felt that way when your family was coming over here you would still be in

Italy," Joy Behar interrupted.

"I came here legally.

We had to wait in line and struggle and save a lot of money," Sabato shared.

"There's people like that waiting in line.

So, they deserve their chance.

We need to legalize — I mean there has to be reform…but at the same time we need to

protect our borders and build."

For the uninitiated, Behar has overdosed on the anti-Trump Kool-Aid.

On a daily basis, she attacks the commander-in-chief with a vitriol that suggests he kicked her

puppy.

The discussion moved along, and Sabato Jr. had a calm rebuttal for each and every one

of Behar's nonsensical and hyperbolic claims.

"But logically people who are coming in even legally or illegally are flying in, they're

not jumping over a wall," Behar exclaimed.

"It's a waste of money.

Isn't it?

That's how I see it."

"We are arresting at the border 1,000 people every single day," Sabato said.

"And there's probably a lot more coming in.

So we can't allow that to happen and they're bringing a lot of drugs or whatever.

So, we need to protect the American people.

That's all I'm saying."

Seems simple enough, but Behar still wasn't having it.

The noted fiscal budget expert lamented the cost, but Sabato Jr. would quickly blast holes

through her liberal talking point.

"We spend $100 billion on immigration every year.

The wall will cost will probably cost less than $20 billion," the actor shared.

" So, we will save a lot of money."It was game, set, and match for Sabato Jr. from

that point.

The California congressional candidate calmly made his points and countered all of Behar's

arguments with actual facts.

While there's no hope that the light bulb actually went off for Behar and company during

the discussion, it was another small victory in the ongoing war between common sense and

the ridiculous anti-Trump narrative that consumes the Left.

Sabato Jr. sounds like exactly what the folks in the great state of California need right

about now, and we'll keep our fingers crossed that his run for office is successful.

Obama Chimes In On Shooting To Blame Trump – He Immediately Responds With Something

Better As President Donald Trump was giving a speech

to calm and start the healing process of a community and a nation which once again is

mourning 17 souls at the hands of evil, former President Barack Obama was busy pushing his

anti-gun agenda on social media.

What a contrast we can see between the two presidents.

One is here to heal and unite while the other one is ready and willing to blame the guns.

One wants to remedy the problem, while the other one wants to push his anti-gun agenda.

One wants to stop these senseless killings while the other one chooses to place the blame

on an object rather than face the fact that the problem isn't a gun issue.

If we want to place blame for these shootings what we need to do is stop with the agenda

pushing and start facing facts.

Guns have always been available, but these mass school shootings began with the Columbine

shooting in 1999.

Did kids just all of a sudden become violent because they discovered guns?

Or is it maybe a lot more complicated than that?

What have we lost, or gained, in the last 20 years?

The parents, who care about their kids so much that they smother them or the ones who

wait for the "system" to educate them because grounding them as children requires

too much effort?

We live in a society where people don't value life, most only know a friend comes

in the form of letters on their smartphones.

Maybe it's time to try back the ways before the so-called psychologist quacks convinced

society that a light spanking is something that's taboo although it has been used since

the dawn of parenting?

Or maybe we should just get God back in school and stop trying to cater to atheists who feel

threatened because the rest of us aren't narcissists who believe nothing is above us?

I don't have the answer, but neither do the anti-gun politicians such as Obama.Via

"Last fall, a Mississippi bail bondsman and frequent YouTube vlogger noticed an alarming

comment left on one of his videos.

"I'm going to be a professional school shooter," said a user named Nikolas Cruz.

The YouTuber, 36-year-old Ben Bennight, alerted the FBI, emailing a screenshot of the comment

and calling the bureau's Mississippi field office.

He also flagged the comment to YouTube, which removed it from the video.

Agents with the bureau's Mississippi field office got back to him "immediately,"

Bennight said, and conducted an in-person interview the following day, on Sept. 25.

"They came to my office the next morning and asked me if I knew anything about the

person," Bennight told BuzzFeed News.

"I didn't.

They took a copy of the screenshot and that was the last I heard from them."

FBI agents contacted Bennight again Wednesday, after a 19-year-old named Nikolas Cruz allegedly

opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in South Florida, killing at least

17 people.

In an email on Sept. 24, Ben Bennight alerted the FBI to a "school shooting threat"

made by a YouTube user named nikolas cruz.

In the wake of the deadly shooting, questions have emerged over whether officials and acquaintances

had missed warning signs about the alleged shooter, a former student who was expelled

from the high school last year for disciplinary reasons.

Classmates, relatives, and neighbors have described Cruz as a troubled "loner" who

often talked about guns and flaunted his obsession with weapons on his social media accounts.

And Jim Gard, a math teacher at the school, told the Miami Herald that the teen had previously

been identified as a potential threat to other students.

Though his name matches the YouTube user flagged in September, FBI officials would not say

whether they have confirmed that the account belonged to Cruz.

But around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday — about 30 minutes after Cruz was taken into custody

by police in Broward County — Special Agent Ryan Furr with the FBI's Miami field office

called Bennight and left him a voicemail.

"I think we spoke with you in the past about a complaint that you made about someone making

a comment on your YouTube channel," the agent said in the message, which Bennight

provided to BuzzFeed News.

"I just wanted to follow up with you on that and ask you a question with something

that's come up, if you wouldn't mind giving me a ring."

A few hours later, Bennight said, FBI agents in Mississippi visited him again in person,

pressing for more information about the YouTube user Nikolas Cruz.

"They asked me if I knew who he was.

I didn't.

I don't," Bennight said.

"Then they left."

When contacted by BuzzFeed News, Furr declined to comment on the call and directed questions

about the shooting to the FBI's public affairs office.

The office did not respond to multiple calls or emails Wednesday night.

At a press conference Thursday morning, the FBI confirmed that it had received and looked

into a tip about the "professional school shooter" comment on Bennight's YouTube

channel, but could not uncover any details from the account.

"No other information was included in the comment, which would indicate a time, location,

or true identity of the person who made the comment," special agent Robert Lasky told

reporters.

"The FBI conducted database reviews, checks, but was unable to further identify the person

who made the comment."

The Nikolas Cruz YouTube account remained active until Wednesday evening.

It has since been deleted, however, due to "multiple or severe violations of YouTube's

policy on violence."

Admin Announces Massive Plan to REPLACE Food Stamps

A new plan from the Trump administration could replace food stamps for good with something

that his critics should have a hard time opposing: Actual food going to people who need it.

According to Fox Business, part of the president�s 2019 budget proposal will be a program called

�America�s Harvest Box,� run by the Department of Agriculture.

�It would provide 16.4 million households, about 81% of current food stamp recipients,

with boxes of non-perishable food items grown by U.S. farmers in place of some of their

SNAP aid,� Fox Business reported, using the acronym for the Supplemental Nutrition

Assistance Program, the official name for food stamps.

The reform would apply to households that receive more than $90 a month in food stamp

benefits, according to Politico.

The plan would deal with one of the major criticisms of the SNAP program: the fact that

recipients can spend their food stamps on whatever foods they choose.

We�ve heard the horror stories about lobster and filet mignon being purchased with SNAP

credits, but those are rare.

The most worrying thing may be the most popular item purchased with food stamps: soda.

While conservatives generally aren�t in favor of using government to regulate health

outcomes in terms of what foodstuffs people buy, when those foodstuffs are being bought

with government money � which is to say, our money � citizens have every right to

demand that items that provide limited nutritive value while contributing to negative health

externalities (which will likely also cost government money) aren�t covered under the

program.

And then there are the abuses of the food stamp program, such as shop owners illegally

buying the credits from recipients for cash and then using the credits to stock their

stores.

America�s Harvest Box would aim to end, or at least curb, both of those abuses.

�Items that could be included in a government-issued food box are grains, peanut butter, canned

meat, canned fruits and vegetables, juice and other shelf-stable products,� Fox Business

reported.

�The government would decide what to include based on nutrition guidelines utilized for

other, existing programs, such as the Emergency Food Assistance Program, and the Food Distribution

Program on Indian Reservations.�

Estimates are that America�s Harvest Box could save the government $129.2 billion over

the next decade if implemented, partially due to the fact that it could leverage its

buying power for the 41 million individuals in SNAP as of November 2017, as opposed to

those people buying individually.

Whether or not the America�s Harvest Box idea gains any traction remains to be seen.

The White House�s budget suggestions are just that � suggestions.

Spending bills, including the yearly budget, originate in Congress, which is often loath

to cede its budget-making purview to the White House even after the budget proposal is submitted.

That being said, America�s Harvest Box is one of the most innovative proposals we�ve

seen regarding entitlements in decades, probably since the sweeping welfare reforms of the

1990s.

Not only does it save money, it solves many of the issues that have plagued the SNAP program

in recent years.

And the best part � at least from the GOP�s perspective � is that it puts the Democrats

in the unenviable position of arguing against fresh, healthy food and for a program rife

with abuse.

And argue they no doubt will, should America�s Harvest Box make it to the floor.

Naturally, the media will take the Democrat side, as this preemptive New York Times strike

shows.

However, in a world of Amazon drones and Blue Apron dinners, one imagines technical hurdles

will be far less daunting than opponents will make them out to be.

Given that the American people have demanded changes in SNAP, which has morphed into one

of the most bloated and abused programs in the federal firmament, America�s Harvest

Box might just be the directionnutritional assistance is headed.

Senate blocks Trump backed bill to protect Dreamer and make steep cuts in legal immigration - Duration: 4:17.

The Senate on Thursday killed four immigration bills, including a Republican measure backed

by President Trump and a competing bipartisan proposal, both of which would have offered

legal protections to undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children.

The Senate's failure to reach a consensus on the volatile issue of immigration puts

those immigrants in jeopardy of deportation starting March 5, when the White House plans

to rescind their Obama-era legal protections.

It's unclear what, if anything, the House will do to address the issue.

Thursday's Senate votes came after the White House mounted an all-out, scorched-earth campaign

to defeat the bipartisan proposal.

Top Trump administration officials lobbied senators to take their names off that bipartisan

bill, with White House officials suggesting that lawmakers were either misinformed or

misrepresenting the legislation's intent and impact.

And Trump himself weighed in via Twitter just as the Senate was about to begin voting, saying

the bipartisan plan would be a "total catastrophe."

The bipartisan bill, unveiled Wednesday night by a group of 16 senators, would have provided

a pathway to citizenship for the DREAMers, those undocumented immigrants who came to

the U.S. as children.

The bill would have also allocated $25 billion to strengthen security at the southern border

with Mexico, limited family-based immigration, and barred the parents of DREAMers from becoming

citizens.

"This is the only bill that has a chance to get through the United States Senate,"

Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, a lead sponsor of the bill told reporters before Thursday's

vote.

Unlike the GOP-controlled House, which can pass legislation with the support of the majority

party, most major pieces of legislation require 60 votes in the Senate and therefore bipartisan

support.

Republicans hold only 51 seats in the Senate, so any of the four bills would have needed

bipartisan support.

The White House slammed King's bill and threatened a presidential veto.

"This Amendment would drastically change our national immigration policy for the worse

by weakening border security and undercutting existing immigration law," a statement from

the White House said.

The Department of Homeland Security said the bill "would be the end of immigration enforcement

in America."

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., a co-sponsor of the bipartisan bill who has had an on-again-off-again

relationship with the president, urged him to reverse course.

"Mr. President you're being led down a path where you won't get a result.

Reject this kind of engagement with the Congress," Graham said Thursday.

"What's wrong with Washington?

You give (the Department of Homeland Security) $25 billion of the money they ask for and

they slam you."

President Trump instead backed a more restrictive Senate bill, which was also defeated on Thursday.

That proposal, sponsored by Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee, would have

granted eventual citizenship to 1.8 million of the DREAMers and given Trump his requested

$25 billion for immigration enforcement, including funding for a wall along the U.S. southern

border.

It also would have met Trump's demands for changes to family-based immigration, or what

Republicans call "chain migration," and ended a diversity visa lottery system.

That bill would have cut legal immigration by at least 25%.

The Senate also rejected two narrower bills: one to create path to citizenship for the

DREAMers and improve border security, and a second to withhold funding from "sanctuary

cities" which limit local police officers' cooperation with federal immigration authorities.

With the four failed votes Thursday afternoon, the Senate is left with no clear path to address

the fate of the DREAMers, and the House has not yet scheduled a vote on

the issue.

Digging Into President Trump's Education Budget & Congress's Budget Deal - Duration: 4:54.

Hello and welcome to Federal Flash.

I'm Nikki McKinney and I'm joined by Jason Amos.

Today we'll focus on the budget deal in Congress and President Trump's budget proposal for

fiscal year 2019 as well as his recently released infrastructure plan.

For a rundown of the budget deal, let's turn to Jason.

Thanks, Nikki.

After several months of near shutdowns and actual shutdowns, Congress passed a bill last

Friday to fund the federal government until March 23.

Of most interest to education advocates is the inclusion of $131 billion over two years

to boost domestic spending.

Decisions about how much of this additional funding will go to education programs will

be made between now and March 23 as Congress negotiates a bill to fund the federal government

for the remainder of the fiscal year.

On the heels of that deal, President Trump released his budget request for federal agencies

and programs for fiscal year 2019.

It is important to remember that the budget request is not a binding document and primarily

is used as a messaging tool.

However, it does provide important information on where the President wishes to see federal

resources directed.

Overall, the president's budget provides $63.2 billion in discretionary funding for the U.S.

Department of Education, a 5 percent decrease below the 2017 enacted level.

The budget request: Maintains current funding levels for Title I,

special education, and career and technical education;

Eliminates funding for several large K-12 programs, including Comprehensive Literacy

Development Grants, Title II grants to support teacher professional development, after school

programs, and Title IV-A grants that are designed to provide flexibility to districts in addressing

particular needs, including programs aimed and health and safety, well-rounded education,

and the effective use of education technology.

The budget also proposes new funding for a $1 billion Opportunity Grants program for

private and public-school choice and a $43 million "School Climate Transformation" initiative

to help school districts address the opioid epidemic.

The President also requested $500 million in federal charter school funding, nearly

doubling the program's funding level.

In addition to rolling out his budget request, the President also released his long-awaited

infrastructure plan, which includes several implications for education.

Part 4 of the plan focuses on workforce development, and lays out the President's priorities for

a reauthorization of the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act (or CTE) and builds

on principles included in his budget request.

Specifically the plan calls for: Directing more funding to high schools to

promote strategies such as work-based learning and dual-enrollment,

Expanding apprenticeships, Increasing high-quality programs in high schools

by promoting science, technology, engineering and math CTE offerings,

Allowing states to pool funds to create regional centers that support multiple districts in

partnership with local businesses and other community stakeholders.

Targeting funds more heavily towards disadvantaged students, and increasing the minimum award

to school districts from $15,000 to $50,000.

Of note, there were no explicit resources for refurbishing, renovating, or constructing

schools included in the plan.
