Trump Wants To Arm Teachers, Liberals Freak After Hearing The Rest Of His 'Genius'
Plan After the school shooting in Florida, the
nation has been left in a debate regarding gun control and how to prevent this all from
happening again.
However, after President Donald Trump proposed the idea of allowing teachers to be armed,
liberals were left freaking out as they heard the rest of his genius plan.Since the shooting
at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, President Donald Trump
and his administration have been working tirelessly to address the gun control debate and figure
out how to prevent school shootings from ever happening again in our country.
Although liberals may disagree, the most logical solution anyone has come up with is the fact
that "gun-free" zones need to end so that teachers can be armed — and President Trump
agrees. These people are cowards," President Trump stated, according to Pix 11.
"They're not going to walk into a school if 20% of the teachers have guns — it may
be 10% or maybe 40%."
Trump is not suggesting that every teacher in a school to be armed, he's just saying
that a few should be carrying in order to be prepared, should a deranged individual
walk in and start shooting up innocent students and teachers.
Of course, liberals think his solution crosses a line, and when they heard the second part
of Trump's plan, they freaked.
President Trump is not stupid.
He knows that some teachers aren't going to carry unless something is in it for them.
So, in an effort to get more people to agree with him and to benefit the teachers who may
sign up to protect their students, he's suggesting bonuses for the teachers who undergo
gun training."What I'd recommend doing is, the people that do carry, we give them
a bonus," President Trump stated.
"We give them a little bit of a bonus.
They'll frankly feel more comfortable having the gun anyway.
But, you give them a little bit of a bonus."
Unsurprisingly, liberals were furious to hear his suggestions.
Taking to social media, several users banded together in opposition and weren't afraid
to let their opinions fly.
"Turning schools into jails.
So what if the teacher flips out and kills a student.
How about better pay and continuous training for teachers and pay for supplies," one
ignorant social media user stated, who's unaware that correctional officers in prisons
are not typically armed with guns unless they are working in a tower or transporting an
inmate in public. So he's willing to give them bonuses for knowing how to use a gun,
but not for educating properly and competitively our children.
He's disgusting and disturbing just like the people that follow him," another user
added, showing their own liberal "tolerance" for those with differing opinions.
"Crazy man.
Those kids would take those gun away…."
another user stated, clearly not knowing what concealed carry entails.
Furthermore, if anyone thinks their child would grab a gun from a teacher, they should
be getting their kid help, not calling anyone else crazy.
Of course, Trump has specific qualifications that would have to be met by the teachers
who do carry guns.
"I don't want teachers to have guns, I want certain highly adept people — people
that understand weaponry, guns," the President explained.
"If they really have that aptitude — because not everybody has an aptitude for guns — but
if they have the aptitude, I think a concealed permit for having teachers and letting people
know that there are people in the building with guns, you won't have — in my opinion
— you won't have these shootings," the President said.
"Gun-free zones, meanwhile, are appealing to criminals," he added, and he's absolutely
right.
Criminals and mentally unstable people choose these locations because they will allow for
mass casualties.
Why?
Because their victims are unarmed and won't shoot back.
Simply put, there's no one to stop them.
If President Trump is right about anything regarding this scenario, it's that the shooters
are always one thing: cowards. We have to harden those schools, not soften them.
A gun-free zone, to a killer, or somebody that wants to be a killer, that's like going
in for the ice cream.
That's like saying, 'Here I am, take me,'" Trump said.
"They see that as such a beautiful target.
They live for gun-free zones."
He also expressed a problem he sees with active shooter drills; namely, they are a harsh reality
we shouldn't be exposing our kids to when there are other, more effective means of keeping
them safe.
"Active shooter drills is a very negative thing, I'll be honest with you," he said.
"I think that's a very negative thing to be talking about.
I don't like it.
I don't want to tell my son 'you're going to have to participate in an active
shooter drill.'
I'd much rather have a hardened school."
Although liberals don't approve of President Donald Trump's ideas regarding school shootings,
it's rather genius.
Allowing the teachers who have a general interest and understanding of guns to not only carry
concealed during school hours but also giving them a bonus for putting their lives on the
line is something we've suggested all along.Furthermore, "hardening" the schools so it's more
difficult for someone intending to do harm to even enter is something that's been long
overdue.
It's time President Trump starts getting the respect he deserves because he's willing
to make the changes necessary that are actually good for our country and will make a difference
in a way that Joe Biden's Gun-Free School Zones Act (GFSZA) of 1990 never did.
