Trump Sends Email to Supporters Right After Senate Votes to End Shutdown

Not long after Senate lawmakers reached a deal Monday to end the federal government

shutdown, an email sent to supporters from President Donald Trumps re-election campaign

indicated Democrats had caved in the face of intense pressure.

You are the reason our government is back open, the email told the supporters.

The subject line of the message, meanwhile, claimed that Democrats CAVED.

Ever since the Schumer Shutdown, we received 48 petitions per second from Americans like

you, demanding Democrats stop holding our military hostage to give amnesty to illegal

immigrants, the email continued.

The message was referring to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumers efforts to force

Congress to immediately address the issue of what to do about recipients of the Deferred

Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

According to the Trump campaign, red-state Democrats saw how angry voters were with their

disgusting tactics, and realized they couldnt go on any longer.

This is how we win by rallying together and fighting, the email said.

But the message noted that during the shutdown, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi raised

hundreds of thousands of dollars from her radical base that wants unchecked illegal

immigration.

We cant let them get away with it, the email added, suggesting that in the November

midterm elections, Democrats will pay the price for their obstruction.

We will never forget the names of EVERY single liberal obstructionist responsible

for this disgusting shut down, and we will work to FIRE them come November.

The three-day shutdown ended Monday after Republicans and Democrats in the Senate reached

a compromise on a bill that funds the government through Feb. 8.

The measure passed in both houses of Congress, and was signed into law by the president.

In return, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised that Republicans in the upper chamber

intend to take up legislation that would address DACA, border security and related

issues, as well as disaster relief, according to ABC News.

The shutdown originally had started because Democrats refused to support a spending bill

on the basis that it did not address the roughly 700,000 illegal immigrants who came to the

U.S. as children.

Trump, however, has made his stance on any future immigration deal very clear.

I am pleased that Democrats in Congress have come to their senses and are now willing

to fund our great military, border patrol, first responders, and insurance for vulnerable

children, the president said in a statement following news that a compromise had been

reached.

He indicated that the only immigration deal he would approve is one that benefits Americans.

As I have always said, once the Government is funded, my Administration will work toward

solving the problem of very unfair illegal immigration, he added.

We will make a long-term deal on immigration if, and only if, it is good for our country.

Later, Trump took to Twitter to tout a big win for Republicans.

Big win for Republicans as Democrats cave on Shutdown, he wrote.

Now I want a big win for everyone, including Republicans, Democrats and DACA, but especially

for our Great Military and Border Security.

Should be able to get there.

See you at the negotiating table!

Senile Nancy Pelosi Bashes Trump's Generosity, Sarah WRECKS Her World With 1 Brutal Word

The left has proven that they are no friend of President Donald Trump, which is why they're

constantly doing dumb things like bashing the generosity of someone else.

In fact, Nancy Pelosi made herself look like an idiot while doing just that most recently

— but White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders wrecked the senile old bat's

word with just one brutal word.

At this point, the left just keeps losing.

Not only has every one of their theories about President Donald Trump blew up in their collective

face, but they continue to embarrass themselves on a daily basis.

Proving that most recently was none other than Nancy Pelosi, who sought to mock the

President's recent tax cut win.

The senile old bat caught national attention after she said the $1,000 or $2,000 bonuses

being given out by companies to their employees on account of Trump's tax cuts were only

"breadcrumbs" compared to what the American people needed.

Of course, when you hand $1,000 or $2,000 to an average American, you won't find a

single one who will refuse it.

At the end of the day, it just went to show how disconnected Nancy Pelosi is from those

whom she represents — but things only got better from there.

As it turns out, Pelosi's bias was exposed when Fox News reported that she once praised

a $40 payroll tax cut passed by former President Barack Obama as "a victory for all Americans"

that will "make a difference."

Despite her best efforts to make Trump look bad, all she did was humiliate herself in

the process.

Unfortunately for her, the negative effects of her pathetic attempt are still rolling

in.

Fox Business is now reporting that Apple is giving $2,500 bonuses to employees after Trump's

tax reform — that's hardly "breadcrumbs."

.@Apple to give $2,500 bonuses to employees after tax reform https://t.co/74py9znnDf pic.twitter.com/tYiniwmb5u

— FOX Business (@FoxBusiness) January 17, 2018

Trump just keeps winning and Democrats continue to look like the losers they are for bashing

such an incredible piece of legislation.

However, the best would be saved for last as even White House press secretary Sarah

Huckabee Sanders just got in on the fun.

Picking the perfect moment to jump in, Sarah decided to completely destroy Nancy Pelosi's

world, and she only needed to throw one of the Democrat's own words back in her face

to do it — "crumbs."

Sharing her sentiments on Twitter for the world to see, Sarah simply responded to the

news by saying, "Or as @NancyPelosi would say: 'crumbs.'"

Or as @NancyPelosi would say: "crumbs" https://t.co/8rFbnLKYh2

— Sarah Sanders (@PressSec) January 17, 2018

Then, again, for Nancy Pelosi, $2,500 is crumbs since the woman has a whopping net worth of

$196 million.

Now, the fact that the corrupt hag has been able to obtain this on a $193,000 salary is

a conversation for another day.

However, the point is, a grand or two is probably just "crumbs" to her.

In the end, perspective is everything, but to actually show how ignorant you are in front

of the entire country, well, it's safe to say that quite a few people are scratching

their heads when it comes to figuring out how she is still in office.

We are talking about one of the most powerful politicians out there.

Nancy Pelosi has only become richer while her constituents become poorer, mostly because

she votes for policies that take more and more from the American people and benefit

politicians in one way or another.

One could actually argue that this is why President Trump pisses them off so badly:

He's giving back what they've essentially stolen over the past several decades.

America's democracy is supposed to be "of the people," "for the people," and "by

the people."

Instead, it has been run by career hacks who seek to take advantage of the hard-working

people of this country for far too long.

Government is supposed to work for us, not the other way around, and maybe it's time

we send that message to scum like Nancy Pelosi in the same way we sent it to Hillary

Clinton

last year.

After Democrats Blame Trump For Government Shutdown, Mike Huckabee DESTROYS Chuck - BreakingNews24 - Duration: 32:13.

After Democrats Blame Trump For Government Shutdown, Mike Huckabee DESTROYS Chuck Schumer

At midnight on Friday, the government was sent into a temporary shutdown after the Senate

failed to approve a short-term spending bill.

Republican senators needed 60 votes to move forward with a bill that would have funded

the government for 30 days, but they came up short, and now, Democrats are placing the

blame squarely on the shoulders of President Donald Trump.

Mike Huckabee responded by lending some much-needed perspective on the whole situation, and he

utterly destroyed Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in the process.

Gov. Mike Huckabee (left), Sen. Chuck Schumer (right), President Donald Trump (inset) (Photo

Credit: Screen Capture, Flickr) As usual, Democrats on Capitol Hill have refused

to set aside their petty partisan differences in order to work with Republicans for the

good of the American people.

This time, it has resulted in a government shutdown which will inevitably have dire repercussions

for many people.

"Not looking good for our great Military or Safety & Security on the very dangerous

Southern Border," President Trump tweeted late Friday night.

"Dems want a Shutdown in order to help diminish the great success of the Tax Cuts, and what

they are doing for our booming economy," he added.

Well, the Democrats got their shutdown, and it has come at the expense of hard-working

government employees like our military personnel, many of whom have families to provide for

and cannot afford to go without a paycheck.

While blame has been placed by both sides, the Democrats are adamant that the shutdown

is the fault of the Republicans who refuse to bargain with them.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer blamed the President outright, saying, "He's

turned blowing up bipartisan agreements into an art form."

According to CNN, "Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer pinned the blame directly on

the President, implying that he was falling well short of his 'Art of the Deal' reputation

and was being led astray by hardline White House aides, Hill Republicans, and conservative

media."

"Negotiating with this White House is like negotiating with Jell-O, it is next to impossible,"

Schumer told reporters.

"The President needs to pull up a chair to end this shutdown."

Of course, this is far from the truth.

The Democrats are the ones who chose illegal immigrants over American citizens.

The Democrats have opted for a government shutdown, rather than a compromise, in order

to further their own agenda.

In reality, the Democrats chose politics over Americans.

On Saturday morning, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, who is also the father of no-nonsense

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, weighed in on the situation with

a major slam to Chuck Schumer, tweeting, "For Schumer the 'Shutdown King' leader to

claim Dems have no responsibility; he knows it takes 60 votes so he is either utterly

lying or ignorant of the process he leads.

Schumer turning Senate into a 'shut-hole.'"

Mike Huckabee slammed Chuck Schumer via Twitter on Saturday morning.

(Photo Credit: Screen Capture/Gov. Mike Huckabee/Twitter) Huckabee's comment was a reference to the

recent controversy surrounding an Oval Office meeting on immigration during which President

Donald Trump was accused of referring to certain Third World countries as "shitholes."

Although Trump emphatically denied using such language to describe nations like Haiti, the

Democrats and the media still had a field day with the story.

Of course, there is perhaps no better way to describe Haiti than with a term like "shithole."

Haiti is ranked 181 on GDP per capita out of 198 tracked countries.

For human development, it's 137 out of 151 tracked countries.

For murder, Haiti ranks 173 out of 219 tracked countries.

It's a certifiable shithole.

Still, the left remains outraged that President Trump would have the gall to call a spade

a spade.

Indeed, the only thing to succeed in shutting them up with regards to the "shithole"

scandal seems to be the government shutdown.

Thus, Huckabee's "shut-hole" dig was particularly clever.

Chuck Schumer has been in Washington, D.C., for far too long if he is so out-of-touch

that he is willing to shut the government down at the expense of hard-working middle-class

Americans.

He should have to give up his own salary if he's so adamant about a government shutdown.

Something tells me the Democrats would be a bit more willing to compromise if their

own pocketbooks were at stake.

Trump Scores Resounding Win for Pro Lifers Everywhere - Duration: 4:47.

Trump Scores Resounding Win for Pro-Lifers Everywhere

President Donald Trump continues to score big wins for the pro-life community.

Just last week he added a new division to the Department of Health and Human Services

dedicated to protecting the religious liberty rights of health care workers, including surgeons

who would rather not perform an abortion.

A day later he took his mission one step further by proclaiming Jan. 22 to be the National

Sanctity of Human Life Day, as reported by The Washington Times.

And the country can expect more of the same in the Januarys to come.

The proclamation was intended to focus our attention on the love and protection each

person, born and unborn, deserves regardless of disability, gender, appearance, or ethnicity,

the president said in a statement published Friday.

But especially the unborn, who are routinely targeted for execution by organizations such

as Planned Parenthood and despite the glaring evidence that disproves its theory

that unborn babies are nothing but clumps of cells.

Science continues to support and build the case for life.

Medical technologies allow us to see images of the unborn children moving their newly

formed fingers and toes, yawning, and even smiling, the president explained.

Those images present us with irrefutable evidence that babies are growing within their

mothers wombs precious, unique lives, each deserving a future filled with promise

and hope.

We can also now operate on babies in utero to stave off life-threatening diseases.

These important medical advances give us an even greater appreciation for the humanity

of the unborn.

An appreciation that he fervently believes should be highlighted every Jan. 22.

But why Jan. 22?

Because it was on Jan. 22, 1973, that the Supreme Court issued its landmark ruling in

Roe v. Wade, declaring that the 14th Amendment of the Constitution provides a woman with

the right to an abortion, according to National Review.

Just to be clear, though, Trump is not the first president to proclaim Jan. 22 to be

the National Sanctity of Human Life Day.

notes that the tradition started with then-President Ronald Reagan in 1984, who issued the proclamation

each year during his eight-year presidency on the Sunday closest to the Roe v. Wade anniversary.

It was continued every year throughout the administration of Reagans successor,

George H.W. Bush.

Bill Clinton then dropped it during his eight years as president, and George W. Bush then

resumed it again for his eight years in office.

And not shockingly, of course former President Barack Obama dropped it, leading some to wonder

whether it would ever return.

Well, it has, thanks entirely to the efforts of a man many Never Trump Republicans

warned us would govern like a liberal Democrat.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue

of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby

proclaim January 22, 2018, as National Sanctity of Human Life Day, Trumps statement

concluded.

Sorry, NeverTrump Republicans, but that doesnt sound like a liberal Democrat to

me.

It sounds like a true, die-hard pro-life Republican.

And it sounds like Democrats better get used to National Sanctity of Human Life Day being

proclaimed every January until at least 2021.

Please share this story on Facebook and Twitter and let us know what you think about President

Donald Trump proclaiming Jan. 22 to be the National Sanctity of Human Life Day.

BREAKING!! TRUMP DID IT!! DC TOURIST SHOCKED After Shutdown! - BreakingNews24 - Duration: 32:13.

BREAKING!!

TRUMP DID IT!! DC TOURIST SHOCKED After Shutdown!

Over the last 24 hours, the country has been plunged into chaos after the government shutdown.

Well, that is what the Democrats would love for you to believe but lo and behold everything

is working just fine and will continue to despite the hysteria the mainstream media

has pushed.

In fact, the majority of Americans will not notice a thing gone awry since only non-essential

government workers were affected by this liberal grandstanding for illegal immigrants.

However, that was not the case back in 2013 when Barack Obama threw his temper tantrum

by refusing to negotiate with Republicans on how to fund the government.

Instead, Obama shut the government down but not before he realized that when he did no

one would really notice his dramatic gesture and things would continue to work despite

their absence.

So, Obama decided with his flair for dramatic, ramped up the theatrics by closing down the

national parks which included the World War II Memorial in Washington.

Even during the shutdown of 2013, the House Committee on Natural Resources noted that

"the Obama Administration is going out of its way to take unreasonable and unnecessary

steps to block public access to parks and monuments that aren't warranted by a government

shutdown."

"For example, open-air parks and national monuments, places without doors or gates,

where people are allowed to visit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, have been barricaded

off," the committee added.

"In addition, none of these D.C. memorials were closed during the last government shutdown

in 1995-1996 under the Clinton Administration.

The Obama Administration's closing of these sites is not something they are required to

do; it's something they are CHOOSING to do.

The Obama Administration wants the effects of this government shutdown to be as painful

as possible."

However, that was then, and this is now, and here we are in the midst of another government

shutdown, but something is very different.

Instead of crying and making a public scene President Trump is allowing this absurd liberal

hissy fit to run its course leaving the theatrics out of it which many government workers and

tourists noticed today.

Just one day into the shutdown Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke went to work cleaning up trash

on the National Mall and speaking to school children with a smile on Sunday morning.

Nope, Zinke was not out of a job or turning people away from the memorials but doing what

he does every day.

Here is more from The Daily Caller:

"We're not putting up barricades," Zinke told The Daily Caller in an interview.

"Absolutely not.

We're passing out brochures until we run out of brochures.

I'll be out here every day."

Zinke and much of the federal government has had the vast majority of staff furloughed

due to the government shutdown.

The shutdown happened on Friday when Democrats refused to vote for a GOP budget bill that

kept the government funded.

A shutdown means all "non-essential" government workers get furloughed and the rest go without

pay until Congress can pass a funding bill.

The last government shutdown was in 2013 under the Obama administration.

For that shutdown, the Department of Interior made the controversial decision to close public

parks, monuments, and battlefields.

The decision led to some comical and ultimately sad stories of children having their D.C.

school trips canceled and veterans not being able to visit monuments built in their honor.

However, if you were looking for similar headlines under the Trump administration, keep looking.

In the first hours of the government shutdown Secretary Zinke was making plans for how to

keep America's public parks open.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, Zinke met with public affairs and maintenance staff

to run through a plan to keep memorials on the National Mall open.

He then spoke with garbagemen who will be picking up trash on the Mall one last time

before the city of D.C. takes over for them.

Zinke then got into his car and drove to the WWII memorial to greet visitors and hand out

maps and helped with directions.

"I spent the morning walking around, giving brochures out," Zinke said.

"I got a lot of thanks from both sides of the aisle.

We will not weaponize our public lands."

"The visitor experience will be diminished," Zinke admitted, noting that some museums and

public service will take a hit during the shutdown.

"But to the degree possible, we will keep our public lands open.

They should not be used as a political weapon."

Zinke said public parks, monuments, and the battlefields "belong to the people and not

the government," and noted that people will see a "significant difference" between

the Trump administration and Obama's in the way public lands are managed during a

shutdown.

Now, of course, this government shutdown is unnecessary, but since it happened, it is

great to see the vast difference between Obama and Trump's leadership.

Obama chose to make the American people hurt every chance he got, while Trump is in the

business of protecting the American people and our culture.

Hopefully, this ridiculous government shutdown will end, and we can get back to work on making

America great again, but with the left who knows how long they will draw this out.

BREAKING!!! McCain's Wife Just Called TRUMP – It's Really Bad! - BreakingNews24 - Duration: 25:37.

BREAKING!!!

McCain's Wife Just Called TRUMP – It's Really Bad!

In an official White House statement we now know President Donald Trump on Friday made

a call the wife of Republican Arizona Senator John McCain, Cindy McCain, after getting news

that he had been hospitalized this week as he battles one of the deadliest forms of cancers

known to man.

McCain who is 81 years old was diagnosed with a highly lethal form of brain cancer in July

and on Wednesday his office said he had been admitted to the hospital with complications.

The statement read that Senator McCain was currently receiving treatment at Walter Reed

Medical Center for what is considered normal side effects of his ongoing cancer therapy.

But that he remains in high spirits and eternally grateful to his physicians for their excellent

care they have provided for him since his treatment has begun.

In the statement, he also thanked his friends and supporters for their encouragement and

good wishes and states that the senator looks forward to returning to work as soon as possible.

McCain's Republican colleagues expressed high optimism that he will be able to make

the vote on the tax overhaul next week since senators must be physically present on the

Senate floor to cast votes.

Considering this time he will vote with the GOP lets all hope and pray this is true.

MSN Reports:

President Trump: U.S. Economy to 'Rock' as GOP Races to Tax Vote

GOP lawmakers posted their sweeping, 503-page bill — with permanent tax cut for U.S. corporations

and temporary benefits for individuals — on Friday evening after gaining key votes from

two Republican senators who'd threatened to oppose it.

Now, with votes planned in the House and Senate by the middle of next week, Trump is closing

in on his first major legislative victory.

The bill — hammered out behind closed doors by Republican leaders — would slash the

corporate tax rate to 21 percent, the lowest that rate has been since 1939.

It would provide across-the-board tax cuts for most individuals, but then wipe them off

the books by 2026.

Whether to extend them would be up to a future Congress.

Trump's White House applauded Friday's developments, which Press Secretary Sarah

Huckabee Sanders called a major step toward achieving the president's promises of faster

economic growth and "much needed financial relief to all Americans."

"It'll be fantastic for the middle-income people and for jobs, most of all," Trump

said on Saturday at the White House before boarding Marine One for Camp David, the presidential

retreat in Maryland.

He predicted U.S. economic growth "could go to 4, 5 or even 6 percent, ultimately."

"We are really going to start to rock," Trump told reporters.

House leaders plan to hold their vote Tuesday.

Timing for the Senate vote was less clear, though Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell

said the chamber would "get this bill done" next week.

Everything You Need to Know About the GOP Tax-Overhaul Plan

Trump and congressional Republicans have repeatedly pitched the tax measure as a boon for the

middle class, despite independent analyses of earlier versions that said most of the

benefit would go to higher earners.

The final bill would provide a larger tax cut for the highest earners by shaving the

top individual tax rate to 37 percent from 39.6 percent, a lower level than was proposed

in either the House or Senate versions.

"This April 15 filing season — that is the last time you will file under this monstrous,

broken tax code," House Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady said Friday evening.

Brady kicked off a remarkably rapid law-making effort on Nov. 2, when he released an initial

bill.

The final version reflects significant changes — many of them aimed at shoring up GOP votes.

Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, who had announced his opposition to an earlier

version of the legislation, switched to "yes" after tax writers changed the bill to broaden

the child tax credit's benefits for working families.

Rubio said in a Twitter message that the change "is a solid step toward broader reforms

which are both pro-growth and pro-worker."

'Major Wins' Senator Susan Collins, a Maine Republican

who hasn't committed to supporting the final legislation, issued a news release saying

she'd secured "major wins" in it, including provisions that would temporarily broaden

an individual deduction for medical expenses and broaden the types of state and local taxes

that can be deducted below a $10,000 cap.

Collins also seeks approval of separate legislation that would shore up individual health insurance

markets — where experts say premiums could rise because the tax bill would repeal the

Obamacare individual mandate.

The Congressional Budget Office has previously estimated that the change would lead to as

many as 13 million fewer Americans having health coverage over a decade.

But the most surprising announcement came from Bob Corker of Tennessee — the only

Republican senator who voted against an earlier Senate version of the legislation — when

he said that he'd reversed course and would vote "yes."

Corker's concern — that the legislation would increase federal deficits — was not

addressed in the GOP's final product.

In fact, the Congressional Budget Office estimated on Friday that the legislation would increase

deficits by $1.455 trillion over 10 years, an amount that's slightly higher than the

projection for the version Corker opposed earlier this month.

'Disappointing' on Deficit "This is a bad day to be a deficit hawk,"

said Steve Ellis, vice president of Taxpayers for Common Sense.

"While Senator Corker's decision is disappointing, the entire Republican conference should be

against this deficit-financed tax cut," Ellis said.

McConnell himself had cited deficit concerns earlier this year in discussing tax legislation.

"It will have to be revenue-neutral," he said in an interview with Bloomberg News.

"We have a $21 trillion debt."

By changing his position, Corker, who's exchanged bitter remarks with Trump over the

president's personal style, cleared the way for the president's first real policy

victory on Capitol Hill.

Whether it will constitute a political victory remains to be seen.

Public opinion polls have shown that earlier versions of the bill were unpopular, but Trump

administration officials and GOP leaders predict the tax cuts, once finalized, will gain favor

in 2018, ahead of congressional elections.

Democrats — all of whom voted against earlier versions of the legislation in both chambers

— have decried the rapid, largely secretive process that produced the bill.

"This monstrosity is a bill that only Donald Trump and Republicans, who have accomplished

next to nothing in this Congress, could love," said Representative Lloyd Doggett, a Texas

Democrat who serves on the tax-writing Ways and Means panel.

"It will not grow our economy, it only burdens us with an immense amount of debt."

On Wednesday, Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen offered only a lukewarm endorsement

of the legislation's effect on the national economy.

"It's not a gigantic increase in growth," Yellen said during a news conference.

I am very aware most people on the right don't agree nor hold Senator McCain in very high

regards, in fact, neither do I.

But he is still a human being that's suffering and he deserves our prayers and well wishes

at a time that's so tragic for him and his family.

Let's also hope and pray there comes a day we will never have to see another soul lost

to Cancer and its ravishing treatment.

Please share in support of Senator John McCain….

Companies Benefiting from Trump Tax Cut Under Siege by California Socialists

Although Californias deluge of complex taxes have already provoked many sensible

business owners into relocating elsewhere, the additional taxes proposed by the states

leftist legislators in response to President Donald Trumps tax reform bill is apt to

only worsen the ongoing exodus.

Two California legislators in particular seek to impose a tax surcharge on every California

business that earns more than $1 million per year, according to the San Francisco Chronicle,

so that any money businesses save from Trumps tax bill can effectively be redistributed

to the poor.

Trumps tax reform plan was nothing more than a middle-class tax increase.

It is unconscionable to force working families to pay the price for tax breaks and loopholes

benefiting corporations and wealthy individuals, said state lawmaker Phil Ting in a statement.

This bill will help blunt the impact of the federal tax plan on everyday Californians

by protecting funding for education, affordable health care, and other core priorities,

he added.

Ting and fellow lawmaker Kevin McCartys bill, Assembly Constitutional Amendment 22,

would specifically add a 10 percent surcharge of earnings above $1 million and produce an

estimated $17 billion in added revenue per year, as reported by The Fresno Bee.

That money would then be funneled to low-income workers in the form of an expanded earned

income tax credit, tax rebates or other tax relief to be determined.

It would also be used to fund state-funded child care, early childhood education, affordable

health care and college financial aid.

The money would basically be used to prop up Californias already immensely bloated

welfare system.

Great.

Theres just one glaring problem: who would be around to pay the tax?

Businesses have been fleeing California in droves for years now because of the states

outrageous taxes, including Toyota, Occidental Petroleum and even Nestl USA, which announced

plans to relocate its U.S. headquarters from California to Virginia last year.

Investors Business Daily contributor Terry Jones pointed out at the time that (a)s

many companies have found, California is an awful place to do business.

The $26-billion-a-year food conglomerate is discreet, of course, about its reasons,

citing a desire to be closer to its core customers and other bland corporate pabulum, he wrote.

But the fact is, Nestle and its corporate brethren in California that actually make

things are overtaxed and overregulated.

And apparently, Ting and McCarty want to overtax and overregulate Californias businesses

even more.

Wonderful.

The only saving grace for California business owners is that Ting and McCartys bill has

no chance of winning the necessary two-thirds vote in the Legislature needed to place it

on the ballot, according to the Bee.

Good.

As it stands, California already hosts a stunningly high 8.84 percent corporate tax rate, making

it among the highest in the nation.

Its sales tax, property tax and income tax rates are just as bad.

If anything, California desperately needs to reduce its tax rates, but God forbid its

harebrained leftist legislators ever figure this out.

Please share this story on Facebook and Twitter and let us know what you think about Ting

and McCartys proposal.

What do you think about California's ridiculous tax rates?

More FBI DOJ Text Messages Reveal Secret Plot To Undermine Trump - Duration: 19:16.

More FBI-DOJ Text Messages Reveal Secret Plot To Undermine Trump

Jaw-dropping Text Message By FBI Agent Suggests No Trump Collusion With Russia

And the hits just keep on coming.

Just hours after we reported that according to the latest batch of text messages between

anti-Trump FBI investigators, a secret society of folks within the DOJ and the

FBI may have come together in the immediate aftermath of the 2016 election to undermine

President Trump, another blockbuster text message appears to have emerged.

Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental

Affairs Committee, said in a radio interview that the FBIs top agent on the Trump-Russia

investigation, Peter Strzok, sent what Johnson called a jaw-dropping text message last

year that suggests he saw no evidence of Trump campaign collusion.

As first reported by the Daily Callers Chuck Ross, in an interview with WISN-Milwaukee

radio host Jay Weber, Johnson read aloud a May 19, 2017 text that Strzok sent to Lisa

Page, an FBI lawyer and his mistress.

As Weber summarized, Sen Ron Johnson tells me hes discovered a text from Peter Strzok

2 days after the Mueller investigation in which he questions whether he wants to be

part of it because he believes theres nothing there.

No collusion.

The Strozk text verbatim on joining the Mueller investigation: May 19th, 2017- You and

I both know the odds are nothing.

If I thought it was likely, Id be there no question.

I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern that theres no big there there.

Here is the jawdropping text message that Strzok wrote just two days after Mueller

was named special counsel for the Russia Investigation:

You and I both know the odds are nothing.

If I thought it was likely, Id be there no question.

I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern that theres no big there there.

Sen Ron Johnson drops a bombshell on The Jay Weber Show

Johnson said that the text referred to the Mueller investigation, which had kicked off

two days earlier.

Strzok joined that team, but was removed in July after the Justice Departments inspector

general discovered his anti-Trump text exchanges with Page.

As the FBIs deputy counterintelligence chief, Strzok had been picked in July 2016

to oversee the investigation into possible Trump campaign collusion with the Russian

government; in other words the text message came almost one year after the anti-Trump

FBI agent had already done preliminary work on whether there was any Trump collusion.

Prior to that, he was a top investigator on the Clinton email inquiry.

I think thats kind of jaw-dropping, said Johnson, a Republican, said of the Strzok

text.

In other words, Peter Strzok, who was the FBI deputy assistant director of the counterintelligence

division, the man who had a plan to do something because he just couldnt abide Donald Trump

being president, is saying that his gut sense is that theres no big there there when

it comes to the Mueller special counsel investigation, Johnson explained.

This particular text message was included in 400 pages of text messages exchanged between

Strzok and Page.

Lawmakers have started reviewing the trove of documents for evidence of anti-Trump and

pro-Clinton bias as part of an ongoing investigation.

Yesterday AG Jeff Sessions announced that the DOJ was also beginning an investigation

into the months of missing text message that the FBI had failed to preserve.

Johnson also addressed the revelation last Friday that the FBI failed to preserve

five months worth of text messages exchanged between Strzok and Page.

A Justice Department official told Johnsons committee and five other congressional panels

that a misconfiguration issue caused many FBI-issued mobile devices to not

back up to the bureaus servers.

In a shocking disclosure late last week the FBI said it did not have text messages for

Strzok and Page for the period between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017 the day that

Mueller was appointed.

Johnson said that Congress needs to see the missing text messages because Strzok and Page

were completely unguarded in their communication.

So were getting insight into exactly what is happening inside the FBI at the highest

levels.

And who knows who else they might implicate in terms of corruption, he said.

Meanwhile the question of just who was obstructing justice Trump or the FBI and the DOJ is

becoming increasingly more pressing with each passing day.

FBI Agents Discussed Secret Society Within DOJ And FBI Working To Undermine Trump

Congressional investigators learned from a new batch of text messages between anti-Trump

FBI investigators that a secret society of folks within the Department of Justice

and the FBI may have come together in the immediate aftermath of the 2016 election

to undermine President Trump, according to Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX) who has reviewed

the texts.

The new texts were included in a 384-page DOJ document release to Congressional investigators

last Friday during which Congress was notified in the cover letter that that five

months of text messages from December 14, 2016 to May 17, 2017 have gone missing (If

only the NSA had copies).

Ratcliffe was joined by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) to discuss the latest developments with Fox

News host Martha McCallum, when Ratcliffe said:

What we learned today in the thousands of text messages that weve reviewed that perhaps

they may not have done that (checked their bias at the door).

Theres certainly a factual basis to question whether or not they acted on that bias.

We know about this insurance policy that was referenced in trying to prevent Donald Trump

from becoming president.

We learned today from information that in the immediate aftermath of his election that

there may have been a secret society of folks within the Department of Justice and the FBI

to include Page and Strzok to be working against him.

Rep. Gowdy deflected a question over a second special counsel, but mentioned a text about

not keeping texts, and more manifest bias against President Trump all the way through

the election into the transition, and finally Gowdy said he saw a text that Director

Comey was going to update the President of the United States about an investigation

which would have been Obama and may, Gowdy speculates, have been about the Trump team.

Regarding the secret society, Gowdy said You have this insurance policy in

Spring 2016, and then the day after the election, what they really didnt want to have happen,

there is a text exchange between these two FBI agents, these supposed to be fact-centric

FBI agents saying, Perhaps this is the first meeting of the secret society. So

Im going to want to know what secret society you are talking about, because youre supposed

to be investigating objectively the person who just won the electoral college.

So yeah Im going to want to know.

As we have been reporting over the last two days, the FBI lost five months of text

messages between anti-Trump FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

The explanation for the gap was misconfiguration issues related to rollouts, provisioning,

and software upgrades that conflicted with the FBIs collection capabilities.

x

The missing texts conveniently span the period between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017 the

day Robert Mueller was appointed to take over the FBIs probe of alleged Trump-Russia

collusion, and during the period in which the FBI would ostensibly have been hard at

work on their insurance policy against a Trump victory and during the period

in which the secret society Rep. Ratcliffe referred to would have been hard at work.

A controversy also emerged following the revelation over the missing textgate in that

the DOJs internal investigative unit, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) wrote

a letter in December of last year specifically stating that they had obtained text messages

from Strzok and Page covering the missing period revealed last Friday.

sd

Alas, it appears the Inspector General Michael Horowitz made this statement in error, as

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a Monday statement that Horrowitz was in fact the one

who discovered the FBIs system failed to retain text messages for approximately

5 months, which was confirmed by Fox News.

A Justice Department spokesperson told Fox News that the Departments Office of Inspector

General also does not have any text messages between the two during that time period.

Not to worry the DOJ, known for its honesty, will leave no stone unturned.

DOJ Begins Probe Of Missing Anti-Trump FBI Texts, Will Leave No Stone Unturned

Following the not entirely surprising news at the end of last week that The FBI failed

to preserve five months of text messages between various anti-Trump agents, Attorney

General Jeff Sessions revealed today that the department of justice has launched a full

investigation into this debacle.

More than 50,000 texts were exchanged between the two FBI officialswho have come under fire

for exchanging anti-Trump messages during the 2016 election.

The FBI has informed [the Department of Justice] that many FBI-provided Samsung 5

mobile devices did not capture or store text messages due to misconfiguration issues related

to rollouts, provisioning, and software upgrades that conflicted with the FBIs collection

capabilities.

The #2 counterintelligence official at the FBI sent 50,000 texts to his mistress on an

unsecure phone while pretending to be very worried about Russian hacking attempts and

kompromat on Trump.

But, in another comedic twist, when asked Monday whether the FBI failed to preserve

text message records on similar Samsung 5 devices belonging to any other FBI officials

during that time period, the FBI told Fox News they had no comment.

In other words, according to the FBI, it was Samsungs fault thousands of text message

in an especially sensitive period went missing.

Incidentally, during the window of missing text messages, a lot happened: Trump took

the oath of office; National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, whom Strzok interviewed, was

fired; the controversial anti-Trump dossier was published; the president fired FBI Director

James Comey; and special counsel Mueller was appointed to investigate Russian meddling

and potential collusion with Trump campaign associates during the 2016 presidential election.

Certainly a very convenient period of time in which all potentially incriminating

text messages would suddenly disappear

The loss of records from this period is concerning because it is apparent from other

records that Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page communicated frequently about the investigation, Johnson

wrote in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray over the weekend, as we reported previously,

requesting more information and questioning whether the FBI had done a thorough search

on non-FBI devices belonging to Strzok and Page during that period.

And it was a lot: the two agents exchanged at least 25,000 text message a year or approximately

70 text message per day!

This immediately prompted some to ask just what was the logic:

The #2 counterintelligence official at the FBI sent 50,000 texts to his mistress on an

unsecure phone while pretending to be very worried about Russian hacking attempts and

kompromat on Trump.

We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are

not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine

whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source.

If we are successful, we will update the congressional committees immediately.

Sessions added that:

I have spoken to the Inspector General and a review is already underway to ascertain

what occurred and to determine if these records can be recovered in any other way.

If any wrongdoing were to be found to have caused this gap, appropriate legal disciplinary

action measures will be taken.

Below is the full statement by the US Attorney General, highlights ours:

Six congressional committees made a request to the Department ofJustice for FBI text messages

between two FBI employees from July 1, 2015 to July 28, 2017, which the Department agreed

to produce as quickly as possible.

The Inspector General has been reviewing these texts based on allegations that Department

or FBI policies or procedures were not followedand that certain underlying investigative decisions

were based on improper considerations. The Department of Justice agreed to produce

those records as quickly as possible.

After reviewing the voluminous records on the FBIs servers, which included over 50,000

texts, the Inspector General discovered the FBIs system failed to retain text messages

for approximately 5 months between December 14, 2016 to May 17, 2017.

The Department apprised the congressional committees of the missing text messages on

Friday in the transmittal letter when providing the available text messages to them.

I have spoken to the Inspector General and a review is already underway to ascertain

what occurred and to determine if these records can be recovered in any other way.

If any wrongdoing were to be found to have caused this gap, appropriate legal disciplinary

action measures will be taken.

We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are

not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine

whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source.

If we are successful, we will update the congressional committees immediately.

Sessions statement suggests that contrary to earlier disclosures and speculation, the

Inspector General was never in possession of the emails.

An OIG spokesperson declined to comment to Fox News.

The claim that five months of critical evidence went missing due to a technical glitch

is really hard to take at face value, a source from the House Permanent Select Committee

on Intelligence told Fox News on Monday, leaving the door open for that committee to also launch

a formal inquiry with the FBI.

Then there is the question of why did the FBI disclose this gap only now: a source on

one committee in receipt of the new text messages told Fox News it was outrageous that

the FBI had not previously indicated the five-month gap in messages existed.

The source said it was incumbent on the FBI to prove that the missing texts do not constitute

obstruction of congressional oversight or destruction of evidence.

As a reminder, last month, the DOJ released hundreds of text messages between Strzok and

Page, both of whom served briefly on Muellers team, with Page leaving over the summer and

Strzok being reassigned late last year to the FBIs human resources division after

the discovery of the exchanges with Page.

Many of the texts revealed a clear anti-Trump and pro-Clinton bias, and included discussions

of the Clinton email investigation.

We need to get to the bottom of it and find out what exactly happened, Rep. Jim

Jordan, R-Ohio, said Monday on Fox News Outnumbered Overtime.

Jordan said Monday that the lapse in documents is reminiscent of the mysterious disappearance

of emails from former IRS official Lois Lerner during the Obama-era IRS/Tea Party targeting

scandal.

Lerners emails disappeared during congressional investigations.

The Lerner thing was huge, Jordan told The Daily Caller.

My gut tells me this is probably bigger.

So to summarize:

IRS emails: missing, and likely deleted Clinton emails: deleted

NSA emails: deleted And now, thousands of FBI text messages: deleted

What a farce.

Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., said the need for a second special counsel was abundantly

clear now.

Unreal.

Weve been asking for the remaining text messages between anti-Trump FBI agents (and

former Mueller team members), Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

The FBI now says the texts are missing, Meadows tweeted on Sunday.

If it wasnt already clear we need a second special counsel, its abundantly

clear now.

Unreal.

former Mueller team members), Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

If it wasnt already clear we need a second special counsel, its abundantly clear now

Shortly after the news broke, Donald Trump, Jr was drown in, tweeting The FBI/govt

loss of texts revelations are crazy.

How often can they lose seemingly critical info before Americans realize its all a

big scam?

Lerner, Clinton, FBI etc Imagine if I tried that???

Why the different standard for them?
