A year since they last met, President Donald Trump and his predecessor Barack Obama haven�t

spoken, the first time in decades two successive presidents have avoided communicating in the

12 months after handing off power.

Ties between presidents � if not always friendly � are usually at least existent.

That Trump and Obama have avoided each other speaks to the unprecedented nature of the

current White House, and the lingering animosity between two men who openly sparred during

2016�s presidential campaign.

Trump hasn�t shied away from blasting decisions Obama made during his tenure, and has steadily

chipped away at key pieces of Obama�s legacy like the Paris climate accord and the Affordable

Care Act.

He�s also launched personal attacks, falsely claiming that Obama ordered the phones tapped

at Trump Tower or that Obama failed to call family members of slain US servicemen.

The last time they spoke, Trump and Obama were standing on the East Front of the US

Capitol as an idling military helicopter stood nearby.

Moments after Trump was inaugurated, Obama appeared loose and smiling, his post-presidency

life about to begin.

During an interview on Tuesday, Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), who is rumored to be considering

a 2020 presidential run of his own, said that he would be Oprah Winfrey�s vice presidential

running-mate if she asked.

�I would have a hard time saying no to her,� Booker said about the idea of being Oprah�s

vice president.

�So I will play along and say this.

If we get to a point one day as unlikely as frankly it is because she has indicated I

don�t think she�s necessarily interested in the job, should she be the Democratic nominee

for President of the United States and she calls me up to be her VP.

Last week, music mogul Russell Simmons was accused of rape by three women in a New York

Times profile of the executive�s history of alleged sexual harassment and abuse.

Simmons is a prolific Democratic donor with thousands of dollars contributed to candidates

and PACs over the years.

But a few contributions stick out because they went to candidates who are still in office

and may run for president in 2020: Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and Cory Booker (D-NJ).

Simmons gave $2,000 to Gillibrand in 2011.

But Booker apparently has not made any decisions with Simmons� contributions.

He received $1,000 from Simmons in 2014.

an awesome first year in office.

President Donald J. Trump had what can be coined as the best first year for any President

in US history since Franklin D. Roosevelt took office as the Great Depression was winding

down.

And these great accomplishments were possible even though the corrupt Barack Hussein Obama

Administration and the Democrat Party along with their lackey's in the mainstream media

have done nothing but try to convince people we are in the worst times our nation has never

seen.

President Trump was inaugurated on January 20th, 2017.

Only one year short ago today and since then his accomplishments have been nothing short

of spectacular with a touch of miraculous.

Along with the fact that he has kept every promise he made during the campaign season,

from putting America and Americans first, to fixing our dismal economy under Obama,

to making good on judicial appointments and cracking down on illegal aliens in our nation.

The Economy

The US stock market is a barometer of economic activity and since President Trump was elected

President it has skyrocketed.

The stock market on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018, this past week, says it all.

On that day the Dow broke 26,000 points for the first time in its history.

As a result the Dow broke the record for the fastest 500, 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 5,000,

6,000 and 7,000 point increases between major milestones in the history of the Dow.

All of these increases occurred since Donald Trump was elected President.

The Dow today stands at 26,071.7.

It is up 42% since the 2016 election and 31% since last year's inauguration.

The Dow had more all-time closing highs in 2017 than any year in history.

President Trump enjoys 95 all-time highs since his election and 78 since his inauguration.

The Dow is up an amazing 7,739 points since the election.

Americans of all walks of life are seeing their 401k's explode because of President

Trump.

Today there are more people working than at any time in US history.

More than 2 million new jobs were created in 2017 under President Trump and as a result

more than 160 million people are working in the US today.

President Trump increased the GDP growth rate to above 3% in the 2nd and 3rd Quarters and

the 4th Quarter was sizzling.

President Trump could reach a 3% GDP growth rate his first year in office, an annual GDP

that the US hasn't seen in a decade.

At the end of the 3rd Quarter the national GDP reached $19.5 trillion for the highest

recorded GDP in US history.

The President's tax plan passed in late December and is already benefiting Americans

and American companies.

Employees will see increases in their pay next month due to the lower Federal taxes.

Millions of Americans have received bonuses due to the tax cuts and major companies have

announced plans to move capital and operations to the US due to these cuts.

The benefits of these cuts haven't even transpired yet but the excitement amongst

workers and companies is electric.

2018 is poised to have one of the greatest economies in US history!

Foreign Policy

President Trump vowed to destroy ISIS.

Despite President Obama saying that ISIS will be around for a generation, these murderers

and terrorists in the Middle East were decimated over the past year.

Both Syria and Iraq have declared victory over ISIS and due to President Trump's resolve,

less than 1,000 ISIS fighters are estimated remaining.

President Trump met with the Pope, leaders of 50 Muslim countries and Israeli and European

leaders in his first trip abroad.

He demanded that the Muslim leaders remove radicals from their countries.

The President refused sending Pakistan security assistance in the millions due to the Pakistani's

harboring terrorists.

He stopped an Obama last minute $221 million transfer to Palestine and cut aid to Palestinians

in half.

He showed that the US is unwilling to work with Muslim entities that support radical

Islam.

On President Trump's successful trip to Asia he bundled an estimated $300 billion

in deals for the US.

He met with Asian leaders and was the first US President and foreign leader to dine in

China's Forbidden City since the founding of modern China.

US Policy

The President named and successfully put in place a new Supreme Court Justice, Neil Gorsuch.

He signed more than 90 executive actions in his first 100 days alone.

The actions included –

* Dismantling Obama's climate change initiatives.

* Travel bans for individuals from a select number of countries embroiled in terrorist

atrocities.

* Enforcing regulatory reform.

* Protecting Law enforcement.

* Mandating for every new regulation to eliminate two.

* Defeating ISIS.

* Rebuilding the military.

* Building a border wall.

* Cutting funding for sanctuary cities.

* Approving Keystone and Dakota pipelines.

* Reducing regulations on manufacturers.

* Placing a hiring freeze on federal employees.

* Exiting the US from the TPP.

What an awesome year it has been.

And he's only getting started.

In contrast, by this point in the Barack Hussein Obama presidency, we had huge unemployment

numbers and were growing every day.

We were bleeding jobs at a breakneck speed and our deficit was set to double under the

huge entitlement plans the Democrat Party was promoting.

We had a president who took the time to go to every nation who hates us and apologize

for what he coined as our arrogance and need to force our own culture on the rest of the

world.

He would put us Americans down every chance he had, while at the same time propping up

our enemies and cultures that are nowhere near as great as ours and who have never contributed

to society anywhere near as much as we have.

is an indication of how the president intends to finally deal with Democrats going forward

a "DACA fix" that allows the president to claim a victory, they want to simply continue

"blooding him up.'

On Sunday the president indicated that aside from the DACA deal being dead, he surmised

that the Democrats "don't want to help" DACA recipients.

The firestorm created by Democrat Dick Durbin is actually a textbook play that the discredited

senator has been playing for decades, in which he simply fabricates an issue, the good senator

has a long recorded history of making false accusations, once even raising the ire of

President Obama.

Trump on Monday morning reverenced once again his comments on Sunday that the Democrats

don't want a bipartisan compromise on DACA or any immigration deal, moreover the remark

attributed to him that certain 3rd world countries were "s**holes," the president claims

he never made, furthermore the 5-other individuals present claim they never heard the president

make those remarks.

However, the damage has already been achieved.

The president reiterated once again that he's "ready, willing and able to make a deal

but they don't want to.

They don't want security at the border, they don't want … to stop drugs, they

want to take money away from our military which we cannot do,' Trump continued in

a pair of tweets.

'My standard is very simple, AMERICA FIRST & MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!'

The reality is Democrats are actually panicking over the continued economic boom, in which

almost 70% of the voting public polled said the economy was either "good" or "excellent,"

and perhaps that's the reason why Democrats tagged Durbin to create a diversion, which

is the standard playbook of identity politics that the left engages in.

Senate Judiciary Committee approves 17 Trump judicial nominations

The Senate Judiciary Committee approved 17 of President Trump�s judicial nominations

Thursday, including two who received �not qualified� ratings from the American Bar

Association and one who was opposed by the Congressional Black Caucus.

The committee approved the nominations of three U.S. circuit court judges � Elizabeth

Branch to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, Kyle Duncan to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals

and David Stras to the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals � and 14 U.S. district court judges.

Eight of the nominations were voted out of the committee along party lines.

One, Stan Baker for U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, was approved

by voice vote.

Several of the nominations for district court judges were voted out of the committee last

year, but were not voted on by the full Senate

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York is one of the most talked-about potential Democratic

candidates for the White House in 2020.

But she has also turned into a thorn in the side of the Department of Justice as she holds

up one of DOJ�s highest-profile postings.

The junior senator from New York plans to use her �blue-slip prerogative� to block

the confirmation of Geoffrey S. Berman, if he is nominated by President Trump to be the

United States attorney for the Southern District of New York, Gillibrand spokesman Glen Caplin

told Fox News.

Berman, 58, a former prosecutor in the office, has been appointed by Attorney General Jeff

Sessions as the interim U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York.

The posting has jurisdiction over all businesses in Manhattan, including those of Trump and

his family.

Gillibrand doesn�t have an issue with Berman�s qualifications.

Her objection lies with the man who nominated him and reports that Berman personally met

with the president as part of the selection process.

�This is about President Trump,� Caplin said.

�Senator Gillibrand believes U.S. attorneys work for the people they serve and must be

independent from the White House.�

When you have an unapologetic president like Donald Trump, things get done in record time

and he does what needs to be done without making excuses for it.

He's not concerned who he offends and doesn't feel that he has to answer to anyone but the

American people who voted for him.

His supporters are really happy to have a leader who makes good on his campaign promises

and more importantly, has made America great again already in his first year in office.

However, proving that he can't be swayed from his path of progress and isn't going

to let anyone try to force him off track he just banned them all in one sudden announcement

that's already been met with massive liberal outrage.

Trump's rightful despise for "certain" people has been no secret.

He's let the country know their time is limited and now it's just run out after

one overstepped his bounds and tried to get in Trump's way.

He immediately paid a brutal price for it and so did everyone else like them who get

banned in a sudden sweeping move they weren't prepared for.

The heated relations between President Trump and the mainstream media have just reached

a boiling point in the Oval Office.

Accusing him of their favorite claim used against him, earned CNN's top reporter and

White House correspondent a boot out the door and an order to not return.

There really couldn't be a more embarrassing and enraging action to receive and Acosta

earned it.

According to Fox News:

President Trump kicked CNN star Jim Acosta out of the Oval Office Tuesday after the network's

senior White House correspondent badgered him with racially charged questions.

Acosta has made a habit of grandstanding and interrupting when Trump and his surrogates

are available to the media.

Tuesday was no exception, as Acosta yelled, "Mr. President," three times before finally

getting Trump's attention.

"Did you say that you want more people to come in from Norway?

Did you say that you wanted more people from Norway?

Is that true Mr. President?"

Acosta frantically shouted.

"I want them to come in from everywhere… everywhere.

Thank you very much everybody," Trump responded as Acosta continued to bark questions.

"Just Caucasian or white countries, sir?

Or do you want people to come in from other parts of the world… people of color,"

Acosta shouted.

Trump then pointed directly at Acosta and simply said, "Out!"

A Trump staffer in the background can be heard saying, "Jim, thank you," before the CNN

star presumably exited the room.

Democrats will twist this response to mean something it was not, by saying that Trump

can't take the heat and just bullies people out of his office.

The fact is, he's the Commander-in-Chief and he deserves some respect from the press

if they want to receive respect in rerurn.

Acosta got what he had coming to him when he acosted Trump with his questions that served

no other purpose but to corner him into saying what he wanted to hear that CNN would inevitably

slam him for later.

Like clockwork, Acosta took his "punishment" to Twitter to berate the president and use

the reaction for exactly what is expected of this liberal reporter.

His entire intent was to push a narrative about Trump that's to say he's a mental

midget with a rage disorder and acts irrationally in the moment.

His immediate followup proves it:

"Acosta then took to Twitter, accusing White House aides of obstructing him from asking

questions," Fox News addded, with his followers referring to this move as Trump's "latest

outburst."

That is to say this is a frequent issue when in fact it's the liberal reporters like

Acosta who have outburst issues.

His history in Trump's White House has proved that and it was about time he got kicked out.

Acosta has been among the most outspoken critics of President Trump and is a significant part

of CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker's apparent anti-Trump programming strategy.

Trump has famously dubbed CNN "fake news" and pointed directly at Acosta and called

him by the disparaging moniker in the past.

Last December, Acosta was shut down by White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders when the

liberal reporter tried to hijack a press briefing.

Acosta told Sanders that journalists make "honest mistakes" but that doesn't make

them "fake news" before attempting a question.

Sanders quickly cut him off.

"When journalists make honest mistakes, they should own up to them.

Sometimes, and a lot of times, you don't," Sanders said as Acosta tried to interrupt.

"I'm sorry, I'm not finished," she said.

"There is a very big difference between making honest mistakes and purposefully misleading

the American people… you cannot say it's an honest mistake when you're purposely

putting out information you know is false."

Acosta has also gotten into combative arguments with other members of the administration including

Senior Policy Adviser Stephen Miller.

Meanwhile, CNN has been mocked for a variety of anti-Trump segments, such as focusing on

the president's soda intake amid unfolding breaking news related to a terror attack in

New York City.

It's about time that someone puts the mainstream media in place and Trump is the man to do

it.

He welcomes question and coversation with his opponents but not combative attacks from

reporters like this.

they don't care about exposing their bias anymore.

With pompous morons like CNN's Jim Acosta continually embarrassing himself, it looks

like others are willing to humiliate themselves by pushing the bounds as far as they can as

well.

As Mad World News previously reported, Acosta was recently humiliated after President Donald

Trump personally told him to get "out" of the Oval Office.

Of course, Acosta fails to understand that when you treat someone like garbage, they're

likely going to respond in kind, and he even took to Twitter to whine about how he was

"violated," despite it being entirely his fault.

Sadly, it looks like Acosta's behavior is rubbing off on others in the press pool as

yet another reporter decided to run her mouth in the White House Press Briefing Room most

recently.

In fact, Cecilia Vega, senior White House correspondent for ABC News, threw thinly veiled

attacks at President Donald Trump, essentially calling him a racist, while insinuating that

his "shithole" comments had discriminatory undertones.

"Does a good deal include then preferring white immigrants from Norway rather than black

and brown immigrants from Haiti?" the reporter asked.

Too bad for her, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was about to put her in her

place, and it would just take one damning word to do it — "colorblind."

In response to Cecilia Vega's loaded question, Sarah Sanders shot back, "In fact, it's

actually the opposite because by definition a merit-based system is colorblind.

It's not basing it on any of that criteria.

It's not based on race, not based on religion, not based on country of origin.

It's actually was based on the merits of whether or not this person is going to be

contributing to society."

Sanders continued, "Actually, it erases all those things and makes it a much more

fair system instead of picking and choosing, trying to meet different quotas of different

things," as The Daily Caller reports.

As if that brutal takedown wasn't already enough, things only got better from there

as Sarah continued her response.

In fact, she next took aim at the dirty Democrats who aren't willing to deal on immigration

— and she went full nuclear on them.

"It's a merit-based system and, frankly, a system that most Democrats supported and

voted for just two years ago.

Now that this president is championing it, they are showing just absolute signs and definition

of what hypocrisy looks like," Sanders pointed out.

"Look, the bottom line is, we want a deal on DACA.

They want a deal on DACA.

We want a deal on border security.

They want a deal on border security.

They said they support these things.

They also said in the past they support merit-based immigration," the press secretary continued,

and she wasn't done there.

"I don't see what is complicated here.

We all want the same things.

Democrats need to quit playing politics and start doing what they were elected to do and

that is governing, and they need to come to the table with the real deal based on the

parameters that were discussed in the meeting that most of you saw and let's try to get

something done for the American people," Sanders concluded.

Although some people say that this was a rare occurrence, where it appeared as if Sarah

Huckabee Sanders was about to lose her temper, I personally don't think this was the case.

In fact, Sarah looked cooler than ever, having full confidence in what she was saying.

She was just passionate — and for good reason.

The Democrats have all made a complete 180-degree turn from their prior direction, and it's

all to spite President Donald Trump.

They know that they've all supported in the past what he's proposing now, but because

liberals are blinded by bias, they oppose the policy in order to oppose the president,

even though it's hurting our country.

The left can chant things like "country before party" all they want, but they're

going to have to practice what they preach if they want others to follow along.

At this point, they're the biggest offenders of what they complain about — and that's

exactly why it's so easy for Sarah Huckabee Sanders to tear them apart, each and every

time.

The panel released the transcript of a Nov. 14 closed-door interview with Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson, whose firm hired a former British spy to research then-presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign ties to Russians and produced a dossier.

"Those transcripts reveal serious allegations that the Trump Organization may have engaged in money laundering with Russian nationals," Representative Adam Schiff said. The Trump Organization dismissed the allegations as unsubstantiated.

Another Democrat on the Republican-controlled committee, Representative Jim Hines, sought to temper Schiff's comment, telling CNN that Simpson "did not provide evidence and I think that's an important point.

The House of Representatives panel is conducting one of the three congressional investigations into possible collusion between Trump's 2016 campaign and Russia. Special Counsel Robert Mueller is leading a separate probe by the U.S.

Moscow denies the conclusions of U.S. intelligence agencies that it interfered in the 2016 election to help Trump and Trump denies any collusion.

In his testimony, Simpson said that his firm closely examined sales of condominiums in Trump properties in New York, Miami, Panama City and Toronto.

"There were a lot of real estate deals where you couldn't really tell who was buying the property," Simpson said.

"And sometimes properties would be bought and sold, and they would be bought for one price and sold for a loss shortly thereafter, and it really didn't make sense to us.".

"We saw patterns of buying and selling that we thought were suggestive of money-laundering," he continued.

Alan Garten, the Trump Organization's chief counsel, said that the deals Simpson referenced primarily involve properties to which Trump licensed his name, rather than owning, developing or selling them.

"These accusations are completely reckless and unsubstantiated for a multitude of reasons," Garten said. "These issues have nothing to do with the scope of the investigation" by the House intelligence committee, Garten said in a phone interview.

"But it's not surprising the minority (Democrats) would focus on this given they've found absolutely no evidence of collusion.". Simpson, under questioning by Rep. Jackie Speier, California Democrat, also said that Russia's operation to influence U.S.

politics included attempts to infiltrate the National Rifle Association (NRA) and other conservative organizations, such as groups promoting independence for the states of Texas and California.

"They seem to have made a very concerted effort to get in with the NRA," Simpson said, according to the transcript. The NRA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Earlier this month, Democratic U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein released Simpson's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, where she is the ranking Democrat. The panel's Republican chairman, Chuck Grassley, had not agreed to the release.

Fusion GPS, based in Washington, hired former British spy Christopher Steele to investigate Trump's business dealings with Russia. It first investigated Trump on behalf of the conservative Washington Free Beacon online news site and then for the Democratic National Committee.

Trump has repeatedly criticized the dossier, which was based on Steele's investigation, calling it "bogus" and "discredited and phony. Some Republicans critical of Mueller's investigation have said that Steele's dossier triggered the initial probe by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

They have raised questions about whether the FBI may have relied on the Steele document to improperly obtain surveillance warrants to spy on Trump's campaign associates. The testimony by Fusion GPS's Simpson before the Senate Judiciary Committee last August contradicted those claims.

Ever since Feinstein released the testimony on Jan. 9, House Intelligence Committee Democrats have been asking that Simpson's testimony to their committee be made public.

I believe, Mr Kim Jong-un has certainly won this round.

He has reached his strategic goal.

He has a nuclear [charge] and a missile with a range of up to 13,000 kilometers that can reach almost any place on Earth

or at least any territory of his potential adversary.

So now he's certainly interested in de-escalating the situation.

He is already an absolutely shrewd and mature politician.

We have to bear in mind the realities of the modern world

and act cautiously when we take upon ourselves a challenging task of denuclearisation of Korean Peninsula

which we should carry out through dialog and negotiations.

As hard as it seems I believe it is still possible when all parties involved in the process

including the North Koreans come to realise that their security can be guaranteed without nuclear weapons.

We are discussing the New START Treaty with our American partners.

They have suddenly stated, although their intention fits the letter of the treaty, that they want to convert some of their delivery vehicles – aircraft and submarines – together with silos to prevent their use for launching nuclear weapons.

In principle, this possibility is stipulated in the treaty. But the treaty also says that this is only possible if the other party, in this case Russia, verifies the conversion

and is convinced that there is no breakout potential in this, that these silos or aircraft equipment will not be converted back for the use of nuclear weapons.

We have no proof of this so far. And we are therefore concerned about this. But our dialogue is ongoing. I hope it will be positive.
