Trump says "meaningful" steps need to be taken to lift sanctions, amid hinting more summits - Duration: 1:51.

Considering the reduced tensions between Pyeongyang and Washington over the past year...

U.S. President Donald Trump plans to have more summits with North Korean leader Kim

Jong-un even after their Hanoi summit set for next week.

But when it comes to lifting sanctions... Trump is demanding North Korea to take "meaningful"

steps.

Our Lee Ji-won starts us off.

U.S. President Donald Trump has again stressed that he and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un

have a "very good relationship," but that sanctions will be in place until more is done.

"The sanctions are on in full.

As you know, I haven't taken sanctions off.

I'd love to be able to, but in order to do that, we have to do something that's meaningful

on the other side."

This comes as President Trump fielded questions from reporters at the White House prior to

his bilateral talks with Austria's Chancellor on Wednesday.

And as if to further lure North Korea into taking that "meaningful" step, President Trump

also reiterated the potential he sees in North Korea's economy.

While stressing that he'll be meeting with Kim Jong-un for two days this time, President

Trump hinted on the likelihood of having more summits with Kim.

"But we've made a lot of progress.

We've made a tremendous amount.

That doesn't mean this is going to be the last meeting, because I don't believe it will.

But we have subjects to discuss which will be very fruitful, I believe."

This comes in line with President Trump saying that he is in no rush over North Korea's denuclearization

on Tuesday.

He said he doesn't have any pressing time schedule and that as long as there is no nuclear

testing, he is in no hurry.

These remarks add to speculation that Trump is trying to lower expectations about the

upcoming summit,... with no complete denuclearization deal reached this time as well.

Some observers suggest the meeting could first settle on a nuclear freeze for now.

PHỎNG VẤN TRUMP: SAO TRỌNG LẠI NÉ TRUMP? - Duration: 5:08.

Trân trọng thành ý của ông, cảm ơn ông, chúc ông bình an./.

Trump tweets time-lapse video of steel-slatted wall being built - Daily News - Duration: 7:22.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday tweeted a time-lapse video of a portion of his border wall being built in New Mexico as Democrats remain outraged over his declaration of a national emergency

'We have just built this powerful Wall in New Mexico,' Trump wrote with the 24 second video he tweeted

'Completed on January 30, 2019 – 47 days ahead of schedule! Many miles more now under construction! #FinishTheWall'The wall is constructed of steel slats

The video features workmen clearing the ground, followed cranes placing sections of the wall into upright positions

While Trump defends his border barrier, Democrats remain furious that he declared a national emergency to get the needed to finish its construction

Kirsten Gillibrand, who's seeking the 2020 Democratic nomination, said Trump is spreading a 'hateful message' with his building of a wall

'Democrats have funded border security for decades and so it's not a question of not wanting to keep the country safe, but what President Trump wants to do is build a medieval-style wall out of concrete and one that will destroy not just the community but the environment,' she said

'And it is a hateful message. I mean he's trying to create a picture of division and hate and derision

And that's what I'm so offended by: the fact that he's fused this kind of racism in, in his words and actions is just troubling,' she added

Earlier this week she said the president's national emergency was 'manufactured

'  Share this article Share Most of the 2020 presidential candidates are separating themselves from Trump and his wall

'Republicans wouldn't have tolerated this if Obama did it,' Sen. Cory Booker told Fox News at a campaign event in New Hampshire

'And they shouldn't tolerate it when Donald Trump is doing it.' Sen. Kamala Harris said this was a crisis of the president's own making

'This is a crisis of his own making because it was a campaign pledge that took heat and propelled him to victory,' she said at a campaign stop in New Hampshire

'He feels the need to keep reciting what is a lie.' Meanwhile, Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Joaquin Castro are drafting a resolution that would block Trump's declaration, The Hill reported

Castro plans to offer it on Friday, Reuters reported.  So far, 92 lawmakers have signed on and House Democrats could push it through the legislative process to have on the House floor by mid-March

If both the House and Senate passed legislation stopping Trump, it would have to go to the president for his signature

He is likely veto it. Overriding Trump's veto would require a two-thirds vote in both chambers

Trump declared a national emergency to build a border wall - his most prominent campaign promise - after he failed to get Congress to appropriate the $5

7 billion he needs to build his wall along the 2,000 mile U.S.-Mexico border.Congress appropriated $1

375 billion that Trump can use for enhanced fencing but specifically did not fund a border barrier

The president is cobbling together the rest of the money through a patchwork operation that has him taking $600 million from the Treasury Forfeiture Fund and $2

5 billion from an account within the Department of Defense that is used for counter-drug activities, in order to build his wall

Another $3.6 billion will come from DOD's military construction and facility improvement funds

On Monday, 16 states sued Trump over his decision to declare a national emergency to obtain funds for building his wall along the 2,000 mile U

S.-Mexico border. The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California came just days after Trump invoked emergency powers on Friday after Congress declined to fulfill his request for $5

7 billion to help build the wall that was his signature 2016 campaign promise. His move aims to let him spend money appropriated by Congress for other purposes

Joining in filing the lawsuit are the attorneys general of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Virginia

Additionally, three Texas landowners and an environmental group filed the first lawsuit against Trump's move on Friday, saying it violates the Constitution and would infringe on their property rights

The legal challenges could slow down Trump's efforts to build the wall, which he says is needed to check illegal immigration and drug trafficking, but will likely end up at the conservative-leaning U

S. Supreme Court. In a budget deal passed by Congress to avert a second government shutdown, nearly $1

4 billion was allocated toward border fencing. Trump's emergency order would give him an additional $6

7 billion beyond what lawmakers authorized.

Trump Will Win 2020 | And Here Is The Reason - Duration: 1:28.

hello everyone my name is Helaman Gile from Smart Duck Studios and today I'm

going to tell you why Trump will win 2020 election. so to get started there

are too many candidates running there are more candidates running on the left

then the right and the folks from the right are going to vote right and

there's only one candidate or two candidates running for the right right

now and on the Left we have probably like twenty maybe 30 candidates running

this makes it very difficult for them to win see most of the votes on the right

are going to vote right and most of the votes on the left or a vote left

but when your votes are drawn so thin between all those candidates it makes it

very difficult to win and that is why I think Trump will win 2020

you

BREAKING ANONYMOUS SENIOR TRUMP OFFICIAL DROPS BOMBSHELL… - Duration: 7:00.

JUSTICE SERVED RESIGNATION!,ROBERT MUELLER ROCKED BY THIS MASSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT,IT'S OVER

Robert Mueller was blindsided .

A person just finished the premise of his whole Russian collusion investigation .

And Robert Mueller was turn off by the last person he ever anticipated .

Mueller is not the only 1 investigating alleged Trump-Russia collusion .

Three Congressional committees also took up the hunt .

Previous year , Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee launched a report exposing that

based on all their witness interviews they discovered no proof of Russian collusion .

The bogus news mass media – which is completely invested in this conspiracy theory – hung

their hat on the truth that Adam Schiff and their Democratic allies on the committee turned

down to sign onto the report .

Rather , Schiff and his staff stated they had "circumstantial evidence" of collusion

.

False news journalists informed Americans that since the House Intelligence Committee

cracked along partisan lines , that they should throw out the clearly factual and truthful

report from Republicans on the Intelligence Committee .

But the fake news will not be capable to play those games with what Senate Intelligence

Committee Chairman Richard Burr uncovered .

In an interview with CBS News , Chairman Burr mentioned that the facts they exposed revealed

there was no collusion involving the Donald Trump campaign and Russia .

"If the committee's driven based upon the details that we have at hand , I have

a extremely hard time comprehending how you can come to 2 distinct conclusions ," Chairman

Burr informed CBS . "Unless , for the first time , you allow politics come into play ."

Trump touted Burr's comments on social media to make sure the American individuals

noticed this critical development in the Russia investigation .

"Highly respected Senator Richard Burr , Chairman of Senate Intelligence , stated today that

, after an virtually 2 year investigation , he noticed no proof of Russia collusion

."

"We don't have anything that would recommend there was

collusion by the Donald Trump campaign and Russia . Thank you !" Trump continued .

"Not only did Senator Burr's Committee find No Collusion by the Trump Campaign and

Russia , it's crucial simply because they interviewed 200 witnesses and 300 ,000 pages

of docs , & the Committee has direct access to intelligence info that's Classified . @GreggJarrett

."

Trump also called out the fake news mass media for attempting to hide Burr's admission

that his committee discovered no proof of Russian collusion despite conducting an exhaustive

investigation .

"The mainstream mass media has rejected to

cover the fact that the head of the Extremely important Senate Intelligence Committee , after

2 years of intensive study and access to Intelligence that only they could get , just mentioned

that they have discovered NO COLLUSION concerning "Trump" & Russia…

."

"…It is all a Huge AND ILLEGAL HOAX , developed long before the election itself , but utilized

as an justification by the Democrats as to why Crooked Hillary lost the Election ! Someday

the Fake News Mass media will turn honest & report that Donald J . Trump was in fact

a GREAT Candidate !"

Now that a second Congressional committee also discovered no proof of collusion , pressure

will continue to mount on Robert Mueller to wrap up this probe and issue a

report clearing the President Donald Trump and his campaign of Russian collusion .

We will keep you up to date on any new improvements in this ongoing story .

President Donald Trump intends to nominate Jeffrey Rosen to succeed Deputy Attorney General

Rod Rosenstein, that's according to the White House.

Trump nominated Rosenstein to serve as the deputy attorney general on Feb. 1, 2017.

Since then, Rosenstein has played a key role in pivotal events: He recommended the firing

of FBI Director James Comey, appointed special counsel Robert Mueller, and has overseen a

broad investigation into leaks of classified information.

Rosen currently serves as the deputy secretary of the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Prior to that, he supervised more than 400 attorneys as the general counsel at the DOT,

and served as general counsel and senior policy adviser at the White House Office of Management

and Budget.

Attorney General William Barr praised Rosen as "a distinguished lawyer who has served

at the highest levels of government and the private sector."

"His years of outstanding legal and management experience make him an excellent choice to

succeed Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who has served the Department of Justice over

many years with dedication and distinction," that's what Barr said in a statement.

Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao, Rosen's current boss, said he played a critical role

in managing a department with more than 55,000 employees and an $85 billion budget.

Big money.

"His hard work, dedication, and decades of experience are evident each day at the

department.

I will be sorry to lose him, but I am confident that he is the right lawyer to help the new

attorney general succeed at the Justice Department, for the benefit of the American people,"

that's what Chao said in a statement.

That is very good news, a department that benefits the American people, who would have

thought.

Rosenstein is expected to step down by mid-March, a Justice Department official said on Feb.

19.

The department didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

But Rosen's nomination must be confirmed by the Senate.

In response to a question about how long Rosenstein will remain as deputy attorney general, White

House Director of Strategic Communications Mercedes Schlapp told Fox News on Feb. 19

that the decision is up to Rosenstein and that Trump has a good relationship with Rosenstein.

The nomination for Rosenstein's replacement comes days after former FBI Deputy Director

Andrew McCabe again accused Rosenstein of offering to wear a wire to record Trump.

Rosenstein denied the allegation.

Rosenstein oversaw the special counsel's Russia probe because then-Attorney General

Jeff Sessions recused himself from the investigation.

Mueller, who is investigating allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and

Russia, reported directly to Rosenstein until November of 2018, when Trump appointed Matt

Whitaker as acting attorney general.

Upon his confirmation by the Senate last week, Barr became Mueller's boss.

Rosenstein wrote a scathing note on May 9, 2017, recommending the firing of then-FBI

Director Comey, who Trump removed the same day.

The firing kicked off an intense nine-day period that culminated in the appointment

of the special counsel.

Rosenstein wrote the original letter outlining the scope of Mueller's investigation as

well as a second scope letter, which remains largely classified.

Mueller hasn't accused anyone of colluding with Russia.

So let's look a little into Rosen's history.

Rosen was nominated to be a federal judge by Republican President George W. Bush, and

that was back in 2008, but didn't get a confirmation vote in the Senate, which was

under Democratic control at the time.

However, he was rated "well qualified" by the nonpartisan American Bar Association.

Thomas Yannucci, a partner at Kirkland & Ellis who has known Rosen since 1982, described

him as an able legal administrator who will be committed to ensuring the independence

of the Justice Department.

"No one's going to push Jeff around.

He'll be committed to doing his job," that's what Yannucci said.

In closing today, Rosen has supported Republican candidates in past elections, although he

has not donated money to Donald Trump, this is what federal records show.

Rosen did contribute $7,545 to 2012, and that was Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney

and $100 in April 2015 to Marco Rubio, one of Trump's rivals for the Republican nomination

in 2016.

So what are your thoughts on Rosen?

Do you think he will bring law and order to the justice department?

That's the question, isn't it?

Because Americans want to see true, positive change.
