MSNBC Host's Meltdown Over Trump's Supreme Court Pick Will Leave You Speechless

Liberals are losing their minds.

Donald Trump will have the opportunity to appoint a Justice to replace the retiring

Anthony Kennedy, and the left could be headed for a generation of legal defeats.

That led to one MSNBC host losing his mind with an on-camera meltdown that will leave

you speechless.

Liberals are still furious about Mitch McConnell blocking Barack Obama from nominating Merrick

Garland to replace the deceased Antonin Scalia in 2016.

Obama was a lame duck President and McConnell was following the precedent set by a then

Delaware Senator Joe Biden back in 1992.

When President George H.W. Bush was running for re-election, Biden stated no Supreme Court

nominations should be made in an election year.

At the time, Biden stated, "Given the unusual rancor that prevailed in the (Clarence) Thomas

nomination, the need for some serious reevaluation of the nomination and confirmation process,

and the overall level of bitterness that sadly infects our political system and this presidential

campaign already, it is my view that the prospects for anything but conflagration with respect

to a Supreme Court nomination this year are remote at best."

Republicans followed that rule and did not hold any hearings or votes on Garland's

nomination.

McConnell reasoned that with Obama resting in lame duck status, it was up to the American

people to decide who they wanted filling Scalia's seat.

The gamble paid off and after Trump won the election, he nominated Neil Gorsuch to fill

Scalia's seat.

Now Justice Kennedy's retirement only further enrages the left.

Kennedy had provided the swing vote on cases that advanced the radical homosexual agenda

and cemented Roe v. Wade as law.

A conservative replacement could undo the social engineering the left has imposed through

the courts that they could never win at the ballot box.

And Chris Matthews – host of MSNBC's "Hardball" – expressed the growing furor from the left

when he demanded "vengeance" for the Republicans blocking Garland's nomination.

Matthews ranted:

"I think the Democrats…have to fight this tooth and nail.

They have to use every process opportunity they have to stop this, until next year, when

we have a new Senate.

We don't know whether next year's Senate will be Republican or Democratic-dominated.

But to give this to the Republicans when they control the Senate, basically, 51 or 50 to

49, really, with John McCain perhaps not voting again, to give them this last chance to pack

the court, 5-4 again, hard conservative, I again — I say this, the base will attack

the leadership for this, if they allow it to happen, and they should.

Because this is time for vengeance for what happened 2 years ago."

But the two elections are apples and oranges.

2018 is a midterm election year.

The question of who the American people wanted picking Supreme Court justices was settled

in the 2016 election.

Voters decided they wanted Donald Trump making Supreme Court nominations until 2020.

Matthews rant may have thrilled liberal viewers, but it was not grounded in reality.

Melania Trump Feels 'Fired-Up' To Fight For Immigrant Kids After Meeting With Them - Daily News - Duration: 2:16.

Maybe Melania Trump does care after all? HollywoodLife learned that the first lady is 'fired-up' to start fighting for the immigrant children being separated from their parents at the border

Despite wearing a jacket proclaiming that she doesn't really care while visiting the migrant children separated from their parents at the border between the United States and Mexico, Melania Trump, 48, is actually somewhat invested in the outcome

"Before Melania became First Lady she really had very little interest in current affairs or philanthropy, and she certainly had no burning desire to change the world in any way—her priorities were to make sure her son was well provided for, and to enjoy a nice, peaceful, and comfortable life," a source close to the first lady tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY

Our source noted, however, that Donald Trump's wife has since had a change of heart

"The events of the past few months or so have led Melania to reevaluate what she really wants out of life, and more importantly, what she would like to be remembered for in the future, after she is long gone," our insider explained

"Melania has always really connected with kids — it's why she chose the Be Best campaign as her platform — so meeting with the children at the centers over the past couple of weeks has been an incredibly emotional, draining, and heart wrenching experience for Melania

"  However, these encounters also made her want to do something. "It's also fired her up, and motivated her to start fighting on their behalf," our source added

"Melania feels like she is finally really coming into her own right now as First Lady, she's not just Donald's beautiful wife anymore, she actually has a real purpose, a direction, and a way to make a positive change in the world

" Well, we'll just have to wait and see if she actually does do something because after all, actions speak louder than words

Kellyanne Conway Shutdown An Anti Trump CNN Host With One Simple Truth - Duration: 11:31.

Kellyanne Conway Shutdown An Anti-Trump CNN Host With One Simple Truth

Kellyanne Conway waded into CNN's festering cauldron of anti-Trump hatred and bias.

Conway took on one of the networks loudest Trump haters.

And the White House counselor shutdown this CNN host with one simple truth.

CNN's Brian Stelter is the network's media reporter.

The Reliable Sources host spends most of his time complaining that conservative media challenges

liberal talking points and refuses to accept the left's premise on every story.

Stelter is also one of the lead champions of the conspiracy theory that Trump colluded

with the Russians to steal the election from Hillary Clinton.

Conway and Stelter battled on that point and Conway challenged Stelter to provide evidence

to back up his baseless assertions.

Conway also called out Stelter for his partisan leanings, which he flatly denied.

But the exchanged really heated up when Conway turned the tables on Stelter and asked point-blank

if he voted for Hillary Clinton.

The Daily Caller reports:

"CNN HOST BRIAN STELTER TOLD WHITE HOUSE COUNSELOR KELLYANNE CONWAY SUNDAY THAT HE

DIDN'T VOTE FOR EITHER DONALD TRUMP OR HILLARY CLINTON.

CONWAY RESPONDED, "YOU PROBABLY DIDN'T THINK SHE NEEDED YOUR HELP."

CONWAY TEASED STELTER, "I'M SORRY, DID YOU JUST SAY SOMETHING THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE

ON YOUR SIDE ON THE AISLE ARE NOT WILLING TO SAY?"

"I'M NOT ON A SIDE OF AN AISLE.

THAT'S AN OFFENSIVE REMARK," STELTER RESPONDED.

"WELL, TELL AMERICA.

DID YOU VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON OR DONALD TRUMP?

HOW DID YOUR WIFE VOTE?

TELL AMERICA," SHE SHOT BACK.

"I DID NOT VOTE FOR PRESIDENT.

I LEFT THAT SPOT BLANK ON THE BALLOT THAT DAY.

BUT, IT'S NOT APPROPRIATE FOR YOU TO GO AROUND ASKING PEOPLE WHO THEY VOTED FOR."

"YOU PROBABLY DIDN'T THINK SHE NEEDED YOUR HELP," SHE REPLIED."

One only has to watch five minutes of Stelter's show to see how much he despises Trump and

supports the Democrats.

Reliable Sources is packed with liberal journalists who nitpick Trump, and Stelter usually starts

his show ranting about Trump and how dangerous he is for America.

Stelter also admitted that he let anti-gun activist David Hogg lie on air without being

challenged because Stelter supported his anti-gun agenda.

A theme on Stelter's show is blaming Trump for the lack of trust in the mainstream media.

But one reason Americans despise the legacy media is because of their blatant dishonesty.

It's clear from scrolling through Stelter's twitter feed or watching his show that his

sympathies lie with the left.

Americans would accept liberal journalists owning their beliefs.

It would be more honest than the current set up where liberals present Democrat talking

points as news and pretend like it's objective reality.

No one buys that liberal journalists have an "off" button that they turn off as

soon as they are on the clock.

Conway was 100% correct to call out Stelter for his political biases.

Trump Gave The One Order That Could End The Obama Deep State's Reign Of Terror - Duration: 10:49.

Trump Gave The One Order That Could End The Obama Deep State's Reign Of Terror

Barack Obama's Deep State just got some very bad news.

After a blockbuster revelation that the FBI employed a spy to infiltrate the Trump campaign,

the President finally has had enough.

And Trump gave the one order that could end the Deep State's reign of terror for good.

The Obama administration and FBI leadership conducted themselves like a banana republic

dictatorship.

A cabal of anti-Trump conspirators deployed secret police tactics to spy on the opposing

party's Presidential candidate in the 2016 election.

This is an unheard of scandal in American history.

The last straw was a series of reports about how the FBI used a taxpayer funded spy to

snoop around the Trump campaign.

Trump took to twitter and ordered the Department of Justice to investigate the allegations

that James Comey and his anti-Trump henchmen ordered a politically biased investigation

and spying campaign against Trump and his associates.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein – a Deep State loyalist who has allowed Robert

Mueller to attack the democratic norm of the people being able to choose their leaders

– was forced to recognize the reality that the Department of Justice is not his personal

fiefdom and is account to the chief executive.

He issued a statement stating that Inspector General Michael Horowitz would investigate

the matter.

This is by far and away the worst scandal in American political history.

The Soviet Union and other dictatorships used secret police spying to neutralize political

opponents.

In the 2016 election, the Obama administration and the FBI colluded to run active measures

against Donald Trump.

This demands a full investigation and the guilty parties must be held accountable.

An Anti Trump Leaker Just Confessed To A Crime That Will Land Him Behind Bars - Duration: 12:07.

An Anti-Trump Leaker Just Confessed To A Crime That Will Land Him Behind Bars

Anti-Trump leakers opened up a new front in their war on Donald Trump.

Deep State operatives fed confidential financial records belonging to Trump attorney Michael

Cohen to Michael Avenatti – the lawyer representing porn star Stormy Daniels.

But an investigation was launched and now the leaker has confessed to a crime that could

land him in jail for a long time.

Avenatti released a dossier on Cohen's suspicious financial transactions that totaled over 2

million dollars.

None of the transactions were illegal and the payments belonged to companies such as

AT&T and Novartis that were looking to gain insight and access to the new Trump administration.

But the leak was illegal.

It carries a penalty of up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

And the leaker confessed to the New Yorker's Ronan Farrow that he disclosed the confidential

records because two other transactions were missing from the system – and without any

evidence – the leaker believed something was amiss.

The New Yorker reports:

THE PAYMENTS TO COHEN THAT HAVE EMERGED IN THE PAST WEEK COME PRIMARILY FROM A SINGLE

DOCUMENT, A "SUSPICIOUS-ACTIVITY REPORT" FILED BY FIRST REPUBLIC BANK, WHERE COHEN'S

SHELL COMPANY, ESSENTIAL CONSULTANTS, L.L.C., MAINTAINED AN ACCOUNT. THE DOCUMENT DETAILED

SUMS IN THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS PAID TO COHEN BY THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY

NOVARTIS, THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS GIANT A.T. & T., AND AN INVESTMENT FIRM WITH TIES TO

THE RUSSIAN OLIGARCH VIKTOR VEKSELBERG.

THE REPORT ALSO REFERS TO TWO PREVIOUS SUSPICIOUS-ACTIVITY REPORTS, OR SARS, THAT THE BANK HAD FILED,

WHICH DOCUMENTED EVEN LARGER FLOWS OF QUESTIONABLE MONEY INTO COHEN'S ACCOUNT. THOSE TWO REPORTS

DETAIL MORE THAN THREE MILLION DOLLARS IN ADDITIONAL TRANSACTIONS—TRIPLE THE AMOUNT

IN THE REPORT RELEASED LAST WEEK. WHICH INDIVIDUALS OR CORPORATIONS WERE INVOLVED REMAINS A MYSTERY.

BUT, ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL WHO LEAKED THE REPORT, THESE SARS WERE ABSENT FROM THE

DATABASE MAINTAINED BY THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT'S FINANCIAL CRIMES ENFORCEMENT NETWORK, OR FINCEN.

THE OFFICIAL, WHO HAS SPENT A CAREER IN LAW ENFORCEMENT, TOLD ME, "I HAVE NEVER SEEN

SOMETHING PULLED OFF THE SYSTEM. . . . THAT SYSTEM IS A SAFEGUARD FOR THE BANK. IT'S

A STOCKPILE OF INFORMATION. WHEN SOMETHING'S NOT THERE THAT SHOULD BE, I IMMEDIATELY BECAME

CONCERNED." THE OFFICIAL ADDED, "THAT'S WHY I CAME FORWARD."

This leaker's story falls apart when the fact that the transactions that were made

were leaked to a lawyer of a porn star suing the President.

So why did the leaker act?

It may have been due to the fact that Avenatti shares the leaker's hatred for the President.

The leaker holds a strong disdain for all things Donald Trump.

The New Yorker also reports:

"SUSPICIOUS-ACTIVITY REPORTS ARE KEPT STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL, AS A MATTER OF LAW. "SARS

ARE SECRET, TO PROTECT THE GOVERNMENT AND TO PROTECT FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS," THE

FORMER PROSECUTOR TOLD ME. "I DON'T THINK THERE'S A SAFE HARBOR FOR SOMEBODY WHO DISCLOSES

IT." ACCORDING TO FINCEN, DISCLOSING A SAR IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE, CARRYING PENALTIES INCLUDING

FINES OF UP TO TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS AND IMPRISONMENT FOR UP TO FIVE YEARS.

THE OFFICIAL WHO RELEASED THE SUSPICIOUS-ACTIVITY REPORTS WAS AWARE OF THE RISKS, BUT SAID FEARS

THAT THE MISSING REPORTS MIGHT BE SUPPRESSED COMPELLED THE DISCLOSURE. "WE'VE ACCEPTED

THIS AS NORMAL, AND THIS IS NOT NORMAL," THE OFFICIAL SAID. "THINGS THAT STAND OUT

AS ABNORMAL, LIKE DOCUMENTS BEING REMOVED FROM A SYSTEM, ARE OF GRAVE CONCERN TO ME."

OF THE POTENTIAL FOR LEGAL CONSEQUENCES, THE OFFICIAL SAID, "TO SAY THAT I AM TERRIFIED

RIGHT NOW WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT." BUT, REFERRING TO THE RELEASED REPORT, AS WELL

AS THE POTENTIAL CONTENTS OF THE MISSING REPORTS, THE OFFICIAL ALSO ADDED, "THIS IS A TERRIFYING

TIME TO BE AN AMERICAN, TO BE IN THIS SITUATION, AND TO WATCH ALL OF THIS UNFOLD."

The Treasury Department announced an investigation into the leak within 24 hours of Avenatti

making his dossier of Cohen's transactions public.

The dossier included two erroneous entries belonging to two different Michael Cohen's.

So in addition to breaking the law, the leaker may have smeared two innocent men.

Anyone who supports the rule of law in America should hope that this leaker is identified

and held accountable.

Congress Just Blindsided Democrats And Delivers Trump $25B Border Wall Win - Duration: 12:24.

Congress Just Blindsided Democrats And Delivers Trump $25B Border Wall Win

President Trump has fought from the beginning to fix the United States immigration system

and build a border wall to help protect the laws.

He has even compromised with the Democrats on DACA.

Instead of working with Trump and Republicans to help illegal immigrants, the left has sabotaged

every move made in the effort.

Democrats claim that Republicans want to separate parents and children on the border but it

was former President Barack Obama's policies that were doing that, particularly referring

to pictures released from 2014 when a child was seen in what appeared to be a cage-like

structure.

House Republicans have just put forth a "discussion draft" of a sweeping immigration bill that

includes a path to citizenship for young immigrants (DACA), $25 billion in border security, which

includes advance funds for President Trump's wall with Mexico and a provision aimed at

addressing the crisis of family separations at the border.

It blindsided Democrats and delivers Trump a $25 billion border wall win.

It has something for everyone.

This measure sticks to Trump's Four Pillars on immigration while attempting to bring together

the two major political parties and moderate factions on an issue that has divided people

for years.

This is just the beginning and there is no guarantee it will succeed, but it's the

first step towards making progress on both granting citizenship while also protecting

the border from people who wish to break the law.

Speaker Paul Ryan is calling for a vote by next week, so it can be laid to rest before

the midterm elections.

He called it a "very good compromise."

Some conservatives called it amnesty.

No side will ever get everything they want, so this may be the path forward to get something

done for a change.

"Our members felt very, very passionate about having votes on policies they care about,

and that is what we are doing," Ryan said earlier Thursday.

"So we're bringing legislation that's been carefully crafted and negotiated to the

floor.

We won't guarantee passage."

The bill is 293 pages long.

It is a very ambitious overhaul of the immigration system.

It shifts away from the nation's longtime preference for family immigration to a new

system that prioritizes entry based on merits and skills.

It beefs up border security, clamps down on illegal entries and reinforces other immigration

laws.

The bill addresses concerns over the sharp rise of families being separated at the border.

It proposes keeping children in detention with their parents, undoing 2-decade-old rules

that limit the time minors can be held in custody.

The White House sought the change on this.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called the legislation "nothing more than

a cruel codification of President Trump's anti-immigrant agenda that abandons our nation's

heritage as a beacon of hope and opportunity."

Kerri Talbot, the policy director at Immigration Hub, called it a "wish list" from top

White House immigration adviser Stephen Miller that "would allow the Trump administration

to jail children for long periods of time."

That appears to be a very twisted version of what is the truth.

DACA is the primary element of the bill.

It provides a pathway to citizenship for as many as 1.8 million young people who have

been living in the U.S. illegally since childhood.

That's the provision that many might call amnesty.

These are the Dreamers that for so long the left cried over and have now abandoned.

Under the proposal, some 700,000 DACA recipients, as well as a broader group of young people

who didn't register for the program, could apply for legal status, which would be valid

for six years and would be renewable "indefinitely."

This benefits those on the Democrat side while still offering something for Republicans to

work within their own endeavors to strengthen border security.

Eventually, young people, who are under 31 and have been in the country since at least

June 2007, could begin to get green cards based on a point system.

It prioritizes education, English language proficiency, military service and continued

employment.

After that, they could apply for citizenship, as is the situation under current law for

those with permanent legal status.

The new visa program, which is also available to other immigrants, including approximately

200,000 children who were brought to the U.S. legally by their parents, is contingent on

the $25 billion in border security funding being fully provided.

This could be used to fund a border wall.

The program would do away with several existing visa programs.

Among them, family-related visas for the married children or adult siblings of U.S. citizens

as well as the 55,000 visas now available under the diversity lottery system for immigrants

from other represented countries, including many in Africa.

The $25 billion could be used for a wall structure, technology, roadways and enhanced security.

It authorizes National Guard troops at the U.S.-Mexico border.

It also calls for the deployment of a biometric entry-exit system for all entry ports that

has long been under debate.

The bill makes it easier for authorities to deport those here illegally (who have broken

the law), rather than allowing some to be released under certain circumstances.

In other words, it does away with what's referred to as a catch and release program.

This looks like a solid compromise and serious effort to provide greater security and freedom

for

all Americans.

Donald Trump Silenced Chuck Schumer With This Epic Tweet - Duration: 11:06.

Donald Trump Silenced Chuck Schumer With This Epic Tweet

Chuck Schumer's mindless opposition to Donald Trump just came back to bite him.

The Democrat leader came out guns blazing to Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from

Obama's Iran nuclear deal.

But Trump silenced Schumer with one tweet about a secret from Schumer's past.

Trump blasted "Cryin' Chuck Schumer" for opposing his decision to tear up the Iran

deal because three years ago Schumer opposed Obama entering into the agreement in the first

place.

Trump's jab at Schumer was in response to the Democrat leader attacking him for taking

a position he himself once held.

USA Today reports:

"DEMOCRATS SAID TRUMP'S GAVE UP HIS LEVERAGE IN ANY FUTURE NEGOTIATIONS AND SLAMMED THE

PRESIDENT FOR SHUNNING AMERICA'S ALLIES IN THE PACT.

"TO ME, THE GREATEST WORRIES FROM IRAN ARE NOT RIGHT NOW ON THE NUCLEAR SIDE, BUT WHAT

THEY'RE DOING IN SYRIA, WHAT THEY'RE DOING TO ARM HEZBOLLAH WITH ROCKETS, WHAT THEY'RE

DOING WITH" BALLISTIC MISSILES, SAID SENATE DEMOCRATIC LEADER CHARLES SCHUMER OF NEW YORK.

SCHUMER OPPOSED THE DEAL THREE YEARS AGO BUT SAID IT'S A MISTAKE TO WALK AWAY NOW.

"THE RIGHT THING TO DO WOULD HAVE BEEN TO TRY TO COME UP, WITH OUR ALLIES, WITH AN AGREEMENT

ON THOSE ISSUES AND LET THE NUCLEAR PART OF THIS CONTINUE AS IT IS, BECAUSE IT'S NOT

BEING VIOLATED IN ANY WAY," HE ARGUED."

Schumer was one of the many Democrats who flip-flopped on the Iran deal.

Obama did not submit the agreement for ratification as a treaty because it would not have received

the 67 votes necessary.

And the chief reason that was the case was because Democrats – led by Chuck Schumer

– largely opposed the deal.

Schumer explained his decision to oppose the deal in a press release.

He wrote:

"ADMITTEDLY, NO ONE CAN TELL WITH CERTAINTY WHICH WAY IRAN WILL GO.

IT IS TRUE THAT IRAN HAS A LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO WANT THEIR GOVERNMENT TO DECREASE

ITS ISOLATION FROM THE WORLD AND FOCUS ON ECONOMIC ADVANCEMENT AT HOME.

BUT IT IS ALSO TRUE THAT THIS DESIRE HAS BEEN EVIDENT IN IRAN FOR THIRTY-FIVE YEARS, YET

THE IRANIAN LEADERS HAVE HELD A TIGHT AND UNDIMINISHED GRIP ON IRAN, SUCCESSFULLY MAINTAINING

THEIR BRUTAL, THEOCRATIC DICTATORSHIP WITH LITTLE THREAT.

WHO'S TO SAY THIS DICTATORSHIP WILL NOT PREVAIL FOR ANOTHER TEN, TWENTY, OR THIRTY

YEARS?

TO ME, THE VERY REAL RISK THAT IRAN WILL NOT MODERATE AND WILL, INSTEAD, USE THE AGREEMENT

TO PURSUE ITS NEFARIOUS GOALS IS TOO GREAT.

THEREFORE, I WILL VOTE TO DISAPPROVE THE AGREEMENT, NOT BECAUSE I BELIEVE WAR IS A VIABLE OR DESIRABLE

OPTION, NOR TO CHALLENGE THE PATH OF DIPLOMACY.

IT IS BECAUSE I BELIEVE IRAN WILL NOT CHANGE, AND UNDER THIS AGREEMENT IT WILL BE ABLE TO

ACHIEVE ITS DUAL GOALS OF ELIMINATING SANCTIONS WHILE ULTIMATELY RETAINING ITS NUCLEAR AND

NON-NUCLEAR POWER.

BETTER TO KEEP U.S. SANCTIONS IN PLACE, STRENGTHEN THEM, ENFORCE SECONDARY SANCTIONS ON OTHER

NATIONS, AND PURSUE THE HARD-TRODDEN PATH OF DIPLOMACY ONCE MORE, DIFFICULT AS IT MAY

BE.

FOR ALL OF THESE REASONS, I BELIEVE THE VOTE TO DISAPPROVE IS THE RIGHT ONE."

TRUMP CONSIDERS KENNEDY REPLACEMENTS - Duration: 15:54.

yeah yeah I like dick durbin going on a field trip heads back a little lunch

let's go down to the border for a couple hours and then we know exactly what ice

does and doesn't do you know look have they been involved in some separations

that's now been overturned by the president sure but that doesn't mean as

he claimed that they've dropped dealing with drugs and trafficking and all these

other things they're doing multiple jobs well you could see that certainly raised

the hackles on Jerry Robinette there because that's they do a heck of a job

down there and that's really tough to hear from the number two Senate Democrat

that's really it something that's a point it's going mainstream now it's a

march to the left maybe he should attack maybe dick Durbin wants to retract that

statement because he's talking about people that he set out there and people

who you know they make the laws for these people to enforce and that's there

may be a concern though they see this 28 year old girl who wins in in Queens and

surprises everyone beats crowler who was supposed to be this this next democratic

leader in the House and there may be the sense within the Democratic Party of

maybe we need to take on this extreme rhetoric if we want to win I'm not sure

that's the right I don't think that's the right approach in my opinion but but

I think there there is a debate going on right now within the Democratic Party

how did you start before she was a candidate she was an organizer for

Bernie Sanders an organizer can we call these rallies what they really are

they're anti Trump rallies I mean they really are anti Trump rallies there

they're the same people who marched against everything everything he's done

every step of the way it's the same group with same group of organizers and

same people saying anti Trump it's like a rerun almost of the women's March at

the beginning of the Trump administration Madonna saying let's go

blow up the way literally saying blow up the White House things like that and so

the issue the specific issue of whether it's women's marks immigration March may

change but I think your point is is right which is that it's really about

being anti Trump so if this is a rerun this route these rallies yesterday maybe

there's a rerun going on in the House Democratic leadership as well because

you have Barack Obama as a former president weighing in now and saying

yeah I'd love to see Nancy Pelosi be the speaker again even though there are some

moderate Democrats saying please no this was at a fundraiser that was held on

Friday according to Politico they say this Nancy this is what Barack Obama

said Nancy I believe is one of the great speakers we ever had and will once again

be one of the greatest speakers we've ever had after we get through this cycle

and there's not much I could have gotten done without having Nancy there

alongside of me every step of the way look there there are a number of

Republicans that that want this very thing let's keep her at the top of that

party because utility is yeah nine year low

apparently Democrats among among Democrats that's according to Gallup

among Democrats 55% she's yeah have concerns about Nancy Pelosi another

among independents 22% among Republicans 11% in terms of favorability I suppose

that would be and then at least you know the idea though is that you know there

are Democrats rising up and saying that's why Joe Crowley had some standing

in the party before he lost this primary about all because they were saying if

Democrats take back the house they've gotta find new leadership at what point

do you look in the mirror and say you know what I gotta do what's best for the

party not what might be the best for myself maybe what ninth term yeah but

that's what people are so frustrated about with politics today and why many

are fighting for term limits you get in there you do the job and then you leave

but people that stay there for years and years and years and never see the

reality of maybe it's time to pull out maybe it's time to let new generation

new blood come in and speak for this party see this with Hillary Clinton not

wanting to leave the stage either the Clintons still having a role in the

party and there are members of Congress like I mentioned Democrats who are

saying hang on and say we need some fresh blood here's congressman Seth

Moulton from Massachusetts on the Democrats conundrum I think it's time

for an entire new generation of leadership in the Democratic Party I

mean we've got to look ourselves in the mirror and realize that Trump may be

terrible but if we can't beat him if we are literally in the worst position as a

party since the 1920s which is where we are today

then we've got to make some reforms ourselves and I think new generation of

leaders will come from many different corners of the party it's funny with

Maxine Waters and others and extreme left really kind of rising up in recent

weeks you're starting to see attention in the media and even among some

Democratic lawmakers like that about the split in the Democratic Party the

problems they have but how many stories have you read in recent weeks about

problems in the Republican party it's the party of Trump

Republican leaders not standing up to him story after story after story and

that's the narrative as opposed to what is now being exposed which is the real

problems in the Democratic well we'll probably see that play out in the

midterms in the polls because the only way to move forward and get policy that

you agree with it's to get your people elected as the president's been saying

look I hear a blue wave but I the president saying he doesn't think it's

going to really be a blue wave and that there's a rising right away we'll see

who's right we'll see let us know what you think friends at foxnews.com but I

do want to bring some other headlines we are following this morning starting here

President Trump said that he will be picking a Supreme Court nominee on July

9 after Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his plans to resign

effective July 31st the president said he has now narrowed his previous list of

25 potential nominees to just five people Kerry Severino is a lawyer who

serves as the chief counsel and policy director at the judicial crisis network

and she joins us right now with who she thinks the top picks are great to have

you with us Gary great to be here Andy all right so this will be one of the

most important picks of his presidency one of the most important decisions he

will make so let's go through the top five six that we know have been reported

to be on that list let's start with an amy coney barrett give us a sense of who

she is and how she might be beneficial yeah as a mom I find her so inspiring

because she's a mother of seven two of them adopted from Haiti one with special

needs and in the middle of all that she has found time to be a law professor a

highly regarded and very popular law professor at Notre Dame has written an

original ism and constitutional law so I'm just really impressed now she's in

the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals as a trump appointee there so I think that

would be really excited to see her on the high court what a background all

right Joan Larson another woman yup from Michigan she used to sit on the Michigan

Supreme Court so she has experience being on the highest court in the land

and she also used to be a professor she was at University of Michigan as a

professor and it was it was an award-winning teacher there so again she

and she and Barrett hit the same confirmation hearing where all of those

anti-catholic rhetoric came up so they've they've been together in the top

lines before it's great to see two women on top of such a small list that is

great news all right the next one I'm off the par

right he is a former District Judge which is interesting brings the trial

side perience to it that a lot of Supreme

Court justices don't have he was in the president's list even when he was a

district judge and then was elevated to the appeals court by President Trump he

was the first South Asian federal article 3 judge in the country so he's a

really ground breaker and I've heard from people who've argued before him who

were very impressed now that he's on the sixth circuit yeah what an impressive

resume right Thomas Hardiman yeah he was widely thought to be one of the very

final finalists and he was a Third Circuit Judge who's known for some good

jurisprudence for example in the Second Amendment and he's the one who famously

got into kind of a car chase with some reporters and they were chasing him

thinking maybe he was driving to the White House for that announcement last

January I think he's got a lot of experience with the card car driving

thing because he actually worked his way through law school as taxi drivers so he

came from came from you know any background there that could come in

handy you never know right Raymond Catholic he is on the sixth circuit is

also from Michigan like Joan Larson and he has now nine almost ten years of

experience in the court and in a lot of ways reminds me of justice scores such

including his writing style very articulate very thoughtful but also

likes to start his opinions with a section explaining it kind of for the

lay reader so you get what they're talking about it's not written just for

the elites but then of course he gets into the the details very thoughtfully

later and as a strong textualist and originalist all right Brett Kavanaugh

that name came up before Neil Gorsuch was ultimately picked what do you know

about him yeah he was added to the list recently last November and he's a DC

Circuit Judge that it Court is really considered to be sort of the minor

leagues for the Supreme Court a lot of Supreme Court justices come from there

and it's it's in DC and here's so many administrative law cases and cases that

have to do with the central questions of how the federal government is run so he

would have great experience dealing with questions of separation of power he has

written some powerful opinions on for example whether the CFPB the consumer

finance Protection Board is even legal and constitutional so he's got a lot of

significant experience that on some of those top issues that are going to come

before the court you can't say the president does not have a long bench of

quite impressive people there and a diversity of different backgrounds Gary

good to have you on really helpful to break this all down for us

great to be here important one this man is inspiring the oldest living man in

the United States a hundred and twelve years old you can see right there we

talked about him on the show before he is a patriot he loves this country he is

112 and he had his bank accounts they have been drained by thieves he had his

identity stolen it's a world war two veteran he is he seems like such a cool

guy this this story angers me Richard Overton Austin Texas here's what his

cousin says about what went wrong we were brokenhearted and lost just

thinking about it like how can somebody new Richard like this we found out that

this money was being used to buy a savings bond and we looked at each other

like savings bonds knowing that we had nothing to do with that or Richard had

nothing to do with that but somebody else did it can happen to anybody

but you know rich had been such a visible person and everybody knowing him

he might be an easier target than most people so there's now go fund me page at

help reach or Overton it's been there it's been there for a couple years

already but it had a different purpose than it was then for his advances and

things now now he needs it for everything and and if anybody deserves

it it's this gentleman he was asked years ago what's the secret to living so

long 112 years old now he said quote just keep living don't die and then he

said that so it helps cigars yeah and God so apparently gets up I

looked up his routine II get some about 3:00 in the morning has a couple of cups

of coffee then he walks around the house to make sure his joints are going well

and he get the blood circulating and then he fires up one of 12 cigars a day

morning was 12 cigars a day he lives he's a hundred and twelve years old an

amazing man so we've got the GoFundMe link on our Fox and Friends page so go

there and please help this man he's a patriot of this country he deserves the

best it it's really unfortunate what he's going through

alright well I do want to bring up some other headlines that we are following

this morning starting here an illegal immigrant could be to blame for starting

a massive wildfire in Colorado a Castella County detention

officer telling Reuters that Jesper Jorgensen is in the county illegally and

will be handed over to ice the springs fire scorching 41,000 acres is the most

active of nearly a dozen blazes in that state also this an Army National Guard

to five pound lost in button and here's the secret this is not completely done

just yet this is only to the first stage we're going to put that into not eat it

right now you could eat it right now it is at a hundred and sixty degrees in

temperature accent is that he took it off it's amazing you can you can

state.

Welcome back to "Meet the

press".

>> Good morning.

>> Let me start with the basic

question here.

Help me out.

Where do you sit?

It feels as if senate Democrats

in general, have all sorts of

ideas on how to handle this

supreme court fight.

What is yours?

>> Well, this is a very

different supreme court

discussion because everyone in

the United States senate who is

going to vote on this knows that

it will change the balance of

power.

So you're not just voting on

whether you think trump should

have his nominee.

You're voting on whether that

nominee is going to change

precedent when it comes to a

whole host of issues of the

women's right to choose, your

access to health care, whether

if you have diabetes or asthma.

All of a sudden, a preexisting

condition is no longer allowed

and you have to pay more for

insurance.

So I think that my colleagues on

both sides of the aisle know

that this vote could be a -- one

of the key votes of their entire

career, and they know that no

matter what comes out of the

white house, if they vote for

TRUMP ON "PHASE TWO" OF HIS ECONOMIC PLAN - Duration: 12:14.

mr. president thanks so much for sitting down well thank you very much I want to

start right with the breaking news of the week and that is Justice Anthony

Kennedy announcing his retirement his Justice Kennedy the model of the person

you would put on the Supreme Court now may be so he's a great gentleman he's a

very high quality person you know I got a call Maria that somebody would like to

see me and they were sort of like acting anonymous they said wait a minute I'm

the president I come they see somebody I don't know who it is anyway I figured it

out and it was a very elegant moment it was

a beautiful moment he presented me with a letter and it really is a retirement

of a great gentleman he's a fine fine gentleman and and really did I think he

did a very he was ended up being a little more neutral than a lot of people

would have preferred but a lot of people prefer that he was and we're going to

pick somebody who's outstanding and I said I'll do it in your honor but we're

gonna pick somebody who's outstanding and I was very honored that he did this

during my term which means he had confidence in me to do the right thing

are you going to ask your nominees beforehand how they might vote on Roe

versus Wade well that's a big one and probably not they're all saying don't do

that you don't do that you shouldn't do that but I'm putting conservative people

on and I'm very proud of Neal Gorsuch he has been outstanding his opinions are

you know is so well written so brilliant and I'm gonna try and do something like

that but I don't think I'm going to be so specific and the questions I'll be

answering and I'm actually told that I shouldn't be because on the campaign

trail you said you would leave it to the States

well maybe someday it will be to the States you never know how that's going

to turn out that's a very complex question the Rovi were you know

is probably the one that people are talking about in terms of having an

effect but we'll see what happens but it could very well end up with States at

some point and do you think you'll be able to get your nominee in place before

the midterm elections I think it's gonna go very quickly I think we're gonna have

a lot of support I think we're going to have support from Democrats frankly I

think if it's the right person I'm gonna pick the right person I'm gonna pick

somebody that's outstanding and everybody on that list is outstanding

but I'm gonna pick somebody who's outstanding and I think yes I think we

will go very quickly I actually believe that a lot of people think it's going to

be a very look at it's probably going to be vicious because the other side all

they could do is obstruct and resist you know the whole thing is resist but and

maybe someday we'll be able to get along with the other side I don't know but

right now it's only resist that's all they want to do is stop things from

happening so they're going to try very hard but I think it's going to go

actually very quickly if I pick the right person mr. president here we are

six months after you signed into law historic no tax reform package first

time in 30 years has the effect been what you expected well I think there's a

double effect the tax cuts have been incredible and reformed

don't forget but tax cuts have been incredible and they're all back in

regular I think the big thing I actually think maybe at least initially speaking

because it's been earlier took places quicker the regulation rollback has been

the biggest ever in the history of our country no no president even during full

terms has cutback anywhere near what I've done and we have more to do now

we're gonna have regulation we're going to clean water we're going to have you

know clean air we're gonna have the cleanest water cleanest air but we are

we have more regulation cutting to do I think that may have had a bigger impact

to this point I think ultimately the tax cuts as they kick in and they're kicking

in where you see the kind of hundreds of billions of dollars brought back into

the country already I think ultimately that's going to be something really

special and you're seeing the result right now I agree with you because under

President Obama the federal registry pages were up to 97 thousand pages or

something like honestly if the Democrats would have won the election first of all

you would have had a lot different if you look at the last four

decisions in the Supreme Court at 5-4 they would have all been reversed the

Union decision was a massive decision the you know you can look at any one of

those four they were all so big so important and they would have been

exactly reversed so many that's why I've always heard that as president I mean

obviously outside of war and peace the biggest decision you can make is the

selection of a Supreme Court justice and I see it and you see it so vividly over

the last two days because I mean those decisions would have all gone the other

way and your legacy on the Conservative Party on the GOP is going to be massive

obviously with this very consequential decision making I need to do let me ask

you about what's next because we've seen the impact to the economy what do you

want to see happen now does the economy need even more stimulus are you looking

for Phase two we're doing a Phase two will be doing it

probably in October maybe a little sooner than that and it'll be more of a

middle class we did a lot for the middle class but this will be even more aimed

at the middle class one of the things we're thinking about is bringing the 21

percent down to 20 and then for the most part the rest of it would go right to

the middle class it's a great stimulus and one of the things I'm doing that

you've been reporting on although I'm not sure that you're a believer but I

think you're getting there look what's happening with the steel companies

they're doing they're expanding they're going wild and we need steel and we need

aluminum and we need solar panels so you know the same thing with solar panels it

was like a dead business and we did a 30% tariff because they were dumping all

over the place and washing machines doesn't sound very glamorous it's

actually a very big business but if you look at what's happened to steel and

aluminum I would practically built a new industry in a period of four or five

months it's incredible what's happening but the big thing that I'm focused on

now is straight I have to straighten our trade deals Maria we have trade deals as

an example with China we don't have a trade deal with China we're never deal

nobody bothered to make a deal and they'll charge 25 percent for a car and

we charge two and a half percent and you've used those numbers on your show

so I don't want to bore people but we have

a some of that we have the worst trade deals in the world we lose money with

everybody you know when somebody walks out I say how much do we lose with this

country we lose with everybody we're gonna make it reciprocal we're gonna

make them fare and I will tell you that you don't know about this but every

country is calling every day saying let's make a deal let's make a deal it's

good all work out and the markets feel like they're trusting you at this point

I think they trust me in the farmers trust me they do

don't forget the farmers then I want all the farmers I won that whole you look at

a map it's got a little blue on the outside everything else is red and it's

beautiful color red but I have to say that if you look at what's happened with

farms over 15 years it's just a steady decline over the last five I've been

here a year and a half over the last five years they've been very bad years

for farms and farmers I said we have to change that and one of the reasons is

because they have barriers these are an even economic barriers although in

Canada's case two hundred and seventy-five percent tariffs for dairy

that's not fair so when would you expect your most significant deal well I

already pretty much finished the deal with South Korea it was a terrible deal

remember it was going to produce two hundred thousand jobs and they were

right for South Korea not for us there was a Hillary Clinton special

that's done NAFTA I could sign it tomorrow but I'm not happy with it I

want to make it more fair okay I can't do NAFTA before the midterms I want to

wait till after the election you can have an election is gonna be very

interesting I have a feeling he's going to be fine and the reason it's because

if they're not fine I'm gonna text their cars coming in to America and that's the

big one you know the cars at the big one we could talk steel we could talk

everything the big thing is the cars on a major lobbying group for the auto

industry says that your administration is threatened 25% tariff on all imported

vehicles will amount to forty five billion dollars in taxes on consumers

and wipe out any benefits of the tax cut plan for low and middle income Americans

well actually it's 20% tell them to get their numbers right look really what's

gonna really happen there's gonna be no tax you know why they're gonna build

their cars in America they're gonna make them here

we bring in millions and millions of cars a year we charge two and a half

percent some of these countries don't even take our cars if we want to send

General Motors or any of our companies to some of these countries they won't

take our cars they have a barrier they put up a barrier non-monetary barrier

they caught a non-monetary tariff and the barrier is so strong you can't sell

a car if you do sell a car its 10% 15% 25% and we get 2 and a half percent and

nobody pays it yeah what do you agree though that a tariff is a sales tax I

mean even Steve Forbes was on my show last week he said look for every job

you're creating in the aluminum and steel industry you're losing 15 in the

industries that import aluminum and steel stuff first of all I love free

trade you know when I was at the g7 I said I have an idea everybody I'll

guarantee it will do it immediately nobody pay any more tax everybody take

down your barriers no barriers no tax everybody

are you all set no more tax Canada you're not going to get two hundred and

seventy five percent via dairy and you're gonna take down oil your verse

we're going to take down all our birds we're going to take that all our taxes

right you know what happened everybody said could we get on to another subject

because America our country lost last year eight hundred and seventeen billion

owes in terms of deficit we had a trade deficit Murray of 817 bidding in with a

B dollars last year before that it was 800 this has been going on for years we

have rebuilt China have a great relationship with China great

relationship with President Xi I have tremendous respect for but I said we

have to straight this out we can't continue to do that well you decided to

not go forward with the investment restrictions on China we don't back down

on the terrace no no no I look we're in for you know we

put in 250 billion dollars worth of product the tariffs or infected could go

up to 500 frankly if we don't make a deal and they want to make a deal I will

tell you China wants to make a deal and so do i but it's got to be a fair deal

for this country one of the hard things is our presidents and our business

leaders they were missing in action not so much the business leaders you know

some business leaders by allowing this stuff to go and that's

the problem they benefit they're more for their business that they are for the

United States I had a great company the head of a

great company come up to me he's very seriously affected by the

tariffs he said mr. president it's not good for me right now

ultimately it is but you're doing the right thing on tariffs pushing back on

China as well most people understand that they've been stealing from us for

decades but you didn't go forward with this ban on Chinese nationals acquiring

a 25% stake in American companies that are in this China 2025 but now people

want to know how are you going to protect American innovation technology

around sophia's we're doing it through different things but but what I didn't

like is pinpointing China because it's not fair I get along with China

I like the president he's president for life we can call him the king right but

I like the president I didn't like pinpointing China I don't think it's

fair because they're not the only ones now they're bigger and stronger and

frankly they do it more than they're probably a bigger violator but it's

other countries too and I want it to go worldwide and we are doing that so

actually what I'm doing is a very similar thing but I wanted to pertain to

everybody so you mean China can China can't do it what other countries can now

I know China and I know how smart they are they'll send their people in to

other countries and do it through other countries and they'll just go through an

extra force what you had to do it on everybody even our friends all right I

want everybody to do it same thing with the tariffs on the steel if we don't

have it on everybody then what happens is they you know they they put it

through these other countries that don't have it and you're wasting a lot of time

🔴 F&F: Maria Bartiromo on Her Interview with President Trump - Duration: 12:31.

and everybody's waiting to find out what you sat down and spoke to the president

about us included we've seen little snippets and bits but it's everybody's

mind they're talking about it's on the tip of everybody's tongue thank you so

much yeah what an interview we're all waiting to see that on your show coming

up soon you talked about a number of things but of course on everyone's mind

is immigration and the rhetoric is heating up especially among Democrats

what used to be more left-leaning polishing ice has now become more

mainstream you ask the president directly about that and here's what he

had to say back to you the 28 year old socialist that just beat

out Joe Crowley says abolish icing and get this more Democrats are getting in

line with that Kirsten Gillibrand today saying we need to abolish ice I hope

they keep thinking about it because they're going to get beaten so badly

you know ice these are the guys that go in and take ms-13 and they take them out

because they're much tougher than ms-13 like by a factor of 10 and these are the

ones you get rid of ice you're gonna have a country that you're gonna be

afraid to walk out of your house I love that issue of they're gonna actually do

that Maran you can borrow that answer down to

three words bring it on bring it on exactly I mean this issue has become so

crazed the the skeptics and the detractors of this president calling to

abolish ice we all know that we want immigration enforcement it's absolutely

outrageous that you would actually take from what has had taken place at the

border to actually just completely abolish ice it's an indication of how

far left the actual Democratic Party has gone and then you can see that from the

recent win in New York they really has been hijacked by the extreme and so what

the solutions are after that if you want to get rid of it then what that is the

big question and I think the president just signed an executive order to make

sure not to separate children from their families so we know that that's not that

much you don't hear about that all you're hearing about is abolished ice by

that by the left and so I think this is also what he says important to remember

going into the November elections because if they do just continue

resistors resist let's abolish law and order I

think voters are going to react negatively remember when the president

in recent months is taking on the FBI and you know Democrats said oh my god

he's beating up on FBI I long for I'm protecting I want to protect law

enforcement and the folks who are doing their jobs but the leadership like James

Comey lost their way and became political flip it around now with ice

you have democratic leaders going after federal agents at ice and calling them

yes incompetent here's Dick Durbin look at ice what a group of incompetence at

this point they're focused more on Toddlers than terrorists they wanted an

instead of deporting felons they want to deport families that are being

persecuted by criminal gangs instead of focusing on stopping bad roads from

coming in and stopping dirty drug money from going out they're focusing on

separating kids from their families it's time to put an end to this cruel and

incompetent policy Maria this is an agency created after 9/11 to go after

terrorists illegal immigrants and these and these guys and gals work so hard in

terms of predicting this country and enforcing immigration legal immigration

you know you made such a good analogy to the FBI because that's exactly right

right now you know what has taken place in the 2016 election you saw the

incredible bias we know what happened the American people are not stupid and

yet they tried to turn the president calling that out into him insulting all

of the ages which wasn't the case at all so again I think this is going to be an

issue that comes up during the election voters will remember it and unless the

left starts respecting law and order I think voters get to get upset I think

people want borders and they want certainly enforcement of legal

immigration so we want safety absolutely absolutely a week to sit down with the

president so much happened last week immigration was just part of it then you

had the Supreme Court noose Anthony Kennedy announcing his retirement it's

another big question is who will they pick to replace him you ask the

president about that and specifically on the issue of Roe vs. Wade and he wrote

he said are you going to ask your nominees beforehand how they might vote

on Roe versus Wade well that's a big one and probably not they're all saying

don't do that you don't that you shouldn't do that but I'm

putting conservative people on and I'm very proud of Neal Gorsuch he has been

outstanding his opinions are you know is so well written so brilliant and I'm

gonna try and do something like that but I don't think I'm going to be so

specific now on the campaign trail the president talked about roe v-- wade and

and and we know that one of the reasons that this president was so popular with

a big mass of people is because they believed he would make changes to the

Supreme Court as well as federal judges he's getting a lot of high marks on his

picks for the for the Supreme Court obviously Gorsuch and these federal

judges across across the board yesterday I asked him about what it would mean for

the states you know during the campaign trail he said look maybe we leave it to

the states it's probably going to be left to the states he really was very

careful in terms of his wording on this he recognizes that this is a lightning

bolt issue and he's just said it he's not going to ask his nominees how they

feel about roe v wade and so all of this hysteria when Kennedy first announced is

I think a little overdone so Leonard Leo obviously advises the president he's an

outside adviser to Trump on judicial selections and he was on Fox News Sunday

I think this morning and here's what he said about the issue of roe v-- wade the

fact of the matter is that roe v wade is a very major precedent in America and

for 36 years people have been talking about it being overturned was an issue

with Sandra O'Connor David Souter Anthony Kennedy all of whom people said

would overturn roe v wade no president is particularly good at speculating

about this thing and nobody is and so I don't think at the end of the day it's

about roe v wade it's about it's about having judges on the court who are going

to interpret the Constitution the way it's written and part of interpreting

the Constitution is taking to account major precedence and that's going to

happen yeah but people are really gonna make it about ya roe v wade if they can

well they're gonna make anything they can about anything they want to make it

about that they think is going to be a fiery issue for the public that's what

at the end of the day all of this is about president Trump and

all of this is about the left's wants and desires to get him out

you saw Maxine Waters just yesterday basically say impeach again they are all

about resist and that's going to hurt them because I think we look I I feel

like most people that I know most people that in the country in America are sort

of hanging out in the middle yeah you might lean to the right on some issues

you might lean to the left on other issues but you're hanging out in the

middle and I think that's what this president has done and that's why he has

support on the right and on the left thank you buddies - wait exactly he did

say that he's going to do this quickly I mean another question that I asked him

in regard to that story was are you going to be able to put your nominee in

place before the midterm elections because you know this is going to be one

of the most consequential midterm elections that we've seen ever and he

said yeah we're gonna do this quickly you just said in July ninth I suspect he

is going to get some some Democratic votes because you have to wonder about

Senator McCain flake and corker so much going on that we've spent seven eight

minutes talking about the interview we haven't gotten to your specialty which

is let's finally do that yes we're dying to know what you got

about taxes let's talk about it on the other side here's what he said are you

looking for a Phase two tax growing a Phase two will be doing it

probably in October maybe a little sooner than that and it'll be more of a

middle class one of the things we're thinking about is bringing the 21

percent down to 20 and then for the most part the rest of it would go right to

the middle class he told you he wants to get this done

phase two in October is that realistic yeah you know the economy is already

doing well as you know better than anyone or is this about Nancy Pelosi in

the house has said it's crumbs and she's on record saying I want to take away

phase one and Chuck Schumer is likely to block anything in October right before

the election or they banking on the idea that with those moderate Democrats like

a mansion Schumer's gonna have to let face to go through well whatever happens

if you do this and have this conversation bring up this conversation

September October that's obviously very strategic right before the midterm

elections so I don't know that they can actually get it done a new phase two tax

plan before November but just having that conversation the president says

look we're gonna try to get something on the books by October so that this

conversation is alive bringing the corporate rate down from 21

to 20 percent would be a positive the core

rate coming down from 35 percent to 21 percent did unleash animal spirits but

even more significant out of this White House is the president's rollback in

regulations you know when President Obama was in place the the number of

federal registry pages was up to 97 thousand that is equivalent to 15 King

James Bibles okay and then he came in and he started rolling back regulations

eliminating the red tape Jamie Dimon once said to me this was about a year

ago CEO of JPMorgan Chase he said I wanted to make it investments in the in

the bridge that connects set Milan to New Jersey he said I wasn't going to get

they said we can't do this until 13 years 13 years why would anyone invest

in infrastructure it's gone you're not gonna get a return for 13 years

rolling bet that regulation was very critical so I do think they're gonna be

having this conversation talking about it trying to move something forward in

October I don't know if there's actual right so we just got some new sound and

of course you can see the full interview at 10 a.m. on braces but there's another

piece that we're getting where the president talks about OPEC and oil

prices and here's what he said and and ended in terms of oil prices you've

talked about oil prices a lot do you think somebody is manipulating this

market hundred above 70 100 percent OPEC is a better stop it because we're

protecting those countries many of those countries OPEC is manipulating and you

know they allowed less than we thought last week they have to put out another

two million barrels in my opinion because we don't want that happening

don't forget the one negative to the Iran deal is you're going to lose a lot

of oil and they got to make up for it and who's their big anomie Iran okay you

think of it Iran's a big so they're gonna have to do it and I have a very

good relationship with the king and with the crown prince of Saudi Arabia and the

others around and they're gonna have to put out more oil yesterday exactly it

was yesterday with Saudi Arabia after the president said that Saudi Arabia

comes out and says in fact they will be pumping out more the exact number though

the exact number was a little bit a little bit questionable but yeah

immediately it was like we also got into Iran we got into North Korea a lot of

domestic issues as well so we had a we had a great interview I'm looking

forward to it in about 45 minutes you'll see I am curious did you ask I'm sure

you did about trade and the concerns about how well the economy is doing and

how people feel unsettled about what if we

have a trade war between you know Canada and China other places what that might

mean for the economy Abby we talked a lot about trade this is one of the most

important issues right now in terms of economic growth and where things go the

president was very clear and he was very clear when he first took office three

pillars to his economic strategy lowering taxes rolling back regulation

and changing trade deals he is insisting on changing these trade deals to make it

more fair reciprocal trade somebody said to me in order to make some scrambled

eggs sometimes you have to break some eggs and that's the way it is so we are

going to have a period where there's a lot of uncertainty what does this mean

he's in negotiation mode it's Sunday morning nobody breaks eggs better you

can see the full interview more Sunday morning futures at 10:00 a.m. thank you

so much all right meanwhile this weekend's nationwide immigration protest

caught more than a year after the women's March dominated headlines but

whatever came of those marches and will this movement see the same results Tammy

Bruce is here to weigh in it's just really about anti-trump marches not

about specific issues we'll talk about it and do you know why we celebrate

Independence Day sadly not everyone does why do we celebrate the 4th of July

what's the significance of 1776 Christopher Columbus

🔴DOBBS TRUMP BORDER PLAN - Duration: 14:09.

congresswoman Maxine Waters stirring of controversy and even in her own party

her recent statements encouraging people to quote push back on the president's

cabinet members appears to be in violation of house rules that according

to Judicial Watch they have filed an ethics complaint against her in the

house in joining us to discuss this and much more Chris Farrell director of

investigations and research for Judicial Watch who has been of course watching

the special counsel and has just recently returned from the border but

first I want to turn to Maxine Waters and your ethics complaint first of all

I'm among those who did not even know that anyone not a member of the house

could file such a complaint well there's been a change in the rules with respect

to the office of congressional ethics and we thought it was absolutely

imperative to get on the record saying that her conduct is beyond the panel

look this is a year after congressman Scalise and the Republican baseball team

were gunned down at a practice in Alexandria thankfully mr. Scalise

recovered but you know another lunatic from the left took action and this is

exactly what Maxine Waters is looking for she knows exactly what she's doing

don't underestimate her her cartoonish behavior her outlandish you know actions

are one thing but she knows exactly what she's doing and it appeals to the

lunatic left and their allies and the anti-fog Aang this is very dangerous

stuff the house needs to police itself frankly the house should expel her from

Congress well I haven't heard a word I mean you're talking about

Nancy Pelosi the Minority Leader who's responsible for her members I haven't

heard a word from her but you know incredibly we haven't heard a word from

Speaker Ryan I know he's a lame duck and he's not worth a hoot at what he does

but at least it looks like he would go through the motions and at least I tip

his hat a bit to his responsibilities as as you

suggest as Speaker yeah this is that just reckless talk I'm on the part of

one kind of wacky member this has got to be contextualized we've now had actions

taken against Trump administration officials where there's been outrageous

abusive obnoxious behavior this is a form of assault it's a question--

harassment but that is that is I mean it is it is criminalized as assault and

again this is a year after mr. Scalise was gunned down by a lunatic lefty this

is not just the hot air and words know you're watching the left become an

activist mob we're watching whether it's the Occupy ice whether it's an teef of

whether you go through the list of the conduct of these folks on the Left these

activists I mean it's beyond to me tolerance and I don't understand why

it's being tolerated particularly it seems to me that there was a federal law

and regulation at one time that you could not threaten a federal official

and we're watching it happen almost daily what in the world is going on

where are the US Marshals where is the Secret Service and why is it being

permitted it shouldn't be it's literally criminal the house has an obligation to

police itself and so we're doing what we can to call attention to it and to force

the slow-moving gears of Washington do the right thing let me know when you

hear from speaker Ryan would you do that I I I'm sure it will be in stone hold

your breath don't know don't worry I never do let me turn to is your trip to

the border we know the border is a sieve there's a the president has said a

number of times that they're building the wall it is patently not a wall it is

a fence it is border security but this Speaker of the House again made certain

that the omnibus bill provided no funding to build a wall

they're doing everything they can to build toward the president and the will

of the American people let me tell you something more reckless language from

the left all the federal agents I spoke with and these were rank-and-file

members not the brass of Border Patrol ice customs they are all furious at the

reckless language being used to characterize them as Nazi concentration

camp guards maybe the Commandant I'm sure that I'm

sure that you're going to hear from Pelosi from the Democratic National

Committee are demanding a retraction and an apology that they would use such an

and where in the world are they thought police who normally would immediately

focus like a laser on anyone who used the words Holocaust or Nazis so

capriciously entirely unrelated to that historic tragedy it is just

extraordinary to me to witness the hypocrisy in the cynicism of the left in

this country the virtue posturing is repulsive but let it look these

rank-and-file officers out there on patrol they bend over backwards put

themselves a great personal risk to protect kids right that this whole look

there are this there is a situation with families that have been split in the

last few months but this problem has been going on by the way that's even

true let me just interrupt you just for a second sure I don't know that we what

we know right now we know that the most recent numbers are something like 2000

we don't know who they are who they're related to we don't know why they've

been distributed around the country as they have been

we do have assurances that every parent can find those children I don't know how

but what we're watching is horrific reporting because there's more virtue

posturing as you put it on the part of the National left-wing media then there

is just plain old-fashioned independent objective reporting there

all working on an ideological slant from Nogales Arizona to Douglas now virtually

all of these unaccompanied children are being used as essentially subway tokens

to get into the country there are beings a terrible way to put it I mean they

listen there with their with human traffickers sex traffickers and and no

one wants to talk they're being criminally exploited by drug traffickers

and human traffickers this is a gimmick it's a it's art and the left is using

this as a propaganda stunt to change the conversation and the president none of

it to his credit he facts of any of it the facts on the ground our children are

being criminally exploited for drug trafficking and human trafficking that's

the facts Chris thanks so much for being with us we appreciate it Chris Farrell

of Judicial Watch thank you thanks up next House Republicans under lame-duck

Speaker Ryan trying to pass an immigration bill tomorrow that they

haven't read they don't know what's in it yeah this is your idea is it my idea

our idea of responsible legislative leadership I'll have a few thoughts

about the party's failed efforts to reach an immigration compromise and

first of all I don't understand why the compromise is even remotely being

entertained by anyone whether the president the Congress anyone there's no

compromise when it comes to national security stay with us we're coming right

back

I have to tell welcome back I've made no secret of my contempt for the politics

of speaker Ryan and his like-minded band of rhinos in the House and the Senate

just as Ryan has made no secret about his disdain for the national interest

our working families our middle class Ryan's chief appealed to his corporatist

masters seems to be his puppy ish eagerness to please the power brokers of

the establishment and the moneyed Marauders who infest K Street and his

passionate pursuit of open borders and cheap illegal immigrant labor he of

course was no fan of defined benefit programs you know pensions which he saw

as an awful terrible unfair burden on corporate America's international

competitiveness Ryan embraced instead for a one case and

didn't blink at the yawning gap in the value of pensions versus 401ks

nor was Ryan a fan of those employer health care benefit

competitiveness that resulted in now Ryan who wants to further free working

families in our middle class from other benefits by cutting entitlements like

Social Security and Medicare wants to pass a bill he calls a compromise bill

on immigration compromise really obviously his masters are desperate now

to keep our border with Mexico wide open so many depend on the 30 to 40 billion

dollars of remittances from foreign nationals who work in this country

illegally to their families and their home nations most often Mexico and the

cartels bring in nearly seventy billion dollars back to Mexico from their

shipments of cocaine and marijuana and heroin and methamphetamine to mostly

young Americans whose lives are destroyed by addiction and the cartels

are also the driving force behind illegal immigration no one wants to tell

you that do they smuggling hundreds of thousands of

illegals into the United States each year and as millions of illegal

immigrants arrived in America over the past two decades they have cut the wages

of hard-working American citizens with whom they really do compete but of

course that was the design of Ryan's masters all along and all the more

reasons that Ryan and the Rhinos have fought against president Trump's wall in

the latest omnibus spending bill Ryan allotted 1.6 billion dollars for general

border security but not a dime to build a wall even proscribed against such a

wall and Ryan wasn't content with that insulted the president he actually cut

the number of ice agents to enforce immigration law internally President

Trump is already a historic president no president has ever done more than he has

in a year and a half mr. Trump's accomplishments are a testament to his

intellect to his talents and also his extraordinary patience why he tolerates

the buffoons of his party's Capitol Hill leadership is a complete and utter

mystery to me whether the lame duck speaker who is

more than willing to kill Republican Party's chances of preserving

their majority in the midterm elections or leader McConnell who persists in

refusing to kill the 60 vote rule in the Senate mr. president I would hope you

would tell the speaker and the leader you no longer need their approval you

don't need their precious time that there is no grand bargain to be had with

these arrogant fools besides you've already made a grand bargain with all of

us deplorable as you called us all last night in South Carolina the super elites

now we're your supporters the men and the women forgotten by three presidents

who preceded you your supporters want No Deal on amnesty in order to secure the

border we want no quid pro quo no more false choices offered up by globalist

elites and their lackeys and certainly no false choice between national

security or amnesty for millions who broken our laws Ryan and McConnell have

senselessly obstructed your presidency for a year and a half Americans are

tired of the establishments efforts to slow roll your presidency as you

constantly and consistently take on every challenge take on every adversary

and lead you've spoken before using the military to build that wall in the

interests of national security so please mr. president build the wall

whether with a armies Corps of Engineers or contractors like Bechtel or Boeing or

the Navy Seabees the Seabees motto mr. president you'd have to love it is

construe mmus batch of us we build we fight does that sound familiar mr.

president and the fighting Seabees by the way is a great movie starring

appropriately John Wayne you've done a lot mr. president it's your era this is

your time and America is with you our quotation of the evening from Thomas

Jefferson he said this the purpose of government is to enable the people of a

nation to live to live in safety and happiness government exists for the

interests of the government not for the governors

up next seven states holding primaries tonight will Trump supported candidates

win win and win again we'll bring you an update next along with dr. Sebastian

🔴 ALAN DERSHOWITZ: TRUMP TO ANNOUNCE SUPREME COURT PICK JULY 9TH - Duration: 8:58.

we are zeroing in on that exclusive interview with President Trump let's

bring in our panel at Rollins is former Reagan Bush campaign manager

he is a Fox News contributor al D'Amato is former Republican senator from New

York and a Fox News contributor and Alan Dershowitz is law professor emeritus at

Harvard Law School and the author of the case against impeaching Trump gentlemen

good to see you all thank you so much for joining us this morning we

appreciate it and Alan Dershowitz I want to kick it off with you because of this

Supreme Court story he was very specific in terms of roe v wade said he's not

going to ask these nominees their opinion on that before nominating them

your take on the Supreme Court decision and what you took away from that

interview well I think the most important thing if he wants to unite the

country and broaden his own base is to pick a true conservative libertarian one

who emphasizes individual liberty over the power of the state one who believes

in judicial restraint who recognizes precedent he shouldn't be focusing on

particular cases like Roe vs. Wade he should be thinking about the future we

don't know what will come before the Supreme Court 1020 years from now when

you think about some of the past horrible cases karamatsu where we

detained 110,000 japanese-americans it was the Liberals who supported that and

the Conservatives who dissented or when they allowed sterilization of mentally

challenged people it was the Liberals who supported that and one lone

conservative Catholic Justice who said Liberty doesn't permit that yeah so if

he can pick a genuine libertarian rather than somebody who's already acted

towards state power it will contribute enormous ly to the country and enormous

ly to bringing the people together so his answer on roe v wade was what in

your view well remember the question of Roe versus Wade there were three

possibilities one Roe versus Wade was wrong that it's wrong now I'm gonna

roll it second versus rate was wrong then but it's been on the books for

forty-five years I'm not gonna overrule it the third most extreme possession is

I believe in a constitutional right to life and therefore not only do i

overrule Roe versus Wade but I prevent the states from allowing abortion but as

allowing abortion denies the right of the fetus to life

I don't believe he'll nominate somebody who accepts that third position because

that would hurt America and divide it greatly that's how I think he should

pick somebody who respects precedent and will not overrule D'Amato he said he's

going to have this nomination in place by July 9 do you think knowing the

Senate as you do this actually can be confirmed before the midterm elections

what you're taking I believe it will be I really do because I think

notwithstanding that there are two senators on the Republican side who grow

V Wade is a big matter and therefore I think the president already kind of has

taken that off the table but there are several Democrats who are

in tough races in in states that the president carried overwhelmingly who

will undoubtedly support the nominee if the nominee meets the criteria that the

president talks about and I think he's right it conservative I agree with Alan

right you want a someone who believes in the Constitution who's a libertarian and

and I honestly believe it will be done before the recession yeah ed rollins

this is going to end up being one of the most consequential presidents of our

time no question about that if not the most consequential with all of these

judges on the federal level as well as you get rid of all the brush underneath

his feet a little minor controversies and really look at the focus on what

he's done he's done an extraordinary amount in 18 months and I work for an

extraordinary president Ronald Reagan if he appoints and he's got a list of

people to a point that are superb we have gone through this test before

and my sense is I'm not on the selection panel but I would I would recommend a

conservative a real conservative originally senator Dale Connor was the

first woman that Reagan appointed by the end she was the swing vote voted most

correctly most times but a real conservative who could drive that court

and help that court basically set precedent for the future I think would

be a great great appointment all of these issues that we talked about what's

your reaction to the interview because all of this is going to be front and

center in November and then again in 2020 this is the campaign of this cycle

and we're down to about 25 seats in the house that are swing seats Democrats

have to win 2/3 of those that take the majority he's gonna have to talk about

trades they have to talk about this appointment which is going to basically

dominate everything between now and then and I think the reality is that it's

something he feels very positive about and I think he does it very very well

and for a little while there senator immigration people were worried about

the families getting separated from their children but he did move quickly

on that Oh God look that was a mistake he made in terms of the agencies weren't

ready yeah for the zero-tolerance policy yeah however he's right on immigration

and when you talk about doing away with ice ed and I were talking earlier in the

program the numbers are incredible and by the way ice doesn't make the policy

it's like you're gonna blame the Internal Revenue Service for policy and

laws that they implement know even Kirsten Gillibrand said let's abolish

ice well it's ridiculous I mean 5,000 criminals from New York in

the past year have been deported and we're talking about 2,000 murderers have

been deported I mean we're not talking about people who just break traffic and

I think that's where the American people are as well the sentiment that you're

raising let's take a short break more with our panel coming up stay with us

right now welcome back and we're back with our panel one last word on this ice

story that the Democrats are trying to push to get ice abolished you've got a

poll that you wanna mention a poll the smartpen who was Hillary Clinton's

bolster and chief strategist came out with today and the question is you want

to Bala shhhhh ice and the answer is overwhelmingly 69% say no 59% of

Democrats say no and 73 percent of independents they know and 70 percent of

the public want a stricter water control how do you think they're gonna

do in the majority of the Democrats Alan go ahead the Democrats are destroying

themselves on this issue I'm a Democrat right by electing a radical socialist

varyingly anti-israel women to Congress recently in Queens and the Bronx that to

me shows the dangerous direction of the Democratic Party they will just continue

to lose and lose and lose if they move to the extreme left and try to capture

the extreme extreme left at the expense of the middle we lost this election

because we lost the middle and the Democrat responding by nominating people

who moving the party even more and more to the left not most people want law and

order and Hilda senator senator Hildebrand here in New York and Mayor

DeBlasio here in New York who basically come out and supporting this about the

Polish ice and I promise you if they do that they'll give us the best issue read

about it well let me say this to you yeah can stave the Democrats being for

ice pushing it the way they are can absolutely save the Republicans in the

house this year and strengthen the Republicans in the Senate they'll pick

up seats let me switch gears Alan let me ask you your thoughts on what he said

about these documents that Congress wants we saw Brad Rosen Stein testify

last night last week a lot of people are not wondering he was a witness is he

conflicted should he be recusing himself on these issues

look I taught a legal ethics at Harvard for over 25 years this is the easiest

question in the world of course he should be recused he's the main witness

on the firing of call me there's now a dispute he says to the the New York

Times reports that he's now saying he was used by the president that will be a

big issue these disclosure of documents some of these documents may involve him

as a witness how can he be the one deciding which

documents get revealed and which don't get revealed he's good have been out of

this case before it ever started he should have recused himself yeah if I

were the president's lawyers I'd be moving in court and in front of ethics

groups to have him remove for a conflict event he is conflicted well we'll leave

it there gentleman it's great to have a new program great we appreciate it very

much we are going to analyze Ron in North Korea tomorrow morning on

Fox Business Network mornings with Maria join me 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. Eastern State

with Fox News right now media buzz coming up right after a short break have

a great weekend everybody thanks for being here

🔴 Scaramucci on SCOTUS: 'People Should Relax' and Let Trump Pick Before Criticizing - Duration: 8:06.

wow what a week for the Trump White House in so many ways Anthony

scaramouche a former White House communications director and founder of

skybridge Capital where to begin I mean that there is a lot that has happened

you know my heart your heart all of our hearts go out to the families and it's

just an unspeakable tragedy but same time you have to admire the resilience

of all of these people would actually put the paper out to I mean it's just an

amazingly sad story but a lot of resilience there indeed it is and then

you know there's been so much discussion about journalism and about fake news it

was a Reuters editor who had two Asian astrology because he made a horrible

remark initially after you know citing some blame for the president which is

just awful I mean before anybody even knew anything about the circumstances

here so and that's kind of the world living right now unfortunately it's the

world we live in but I also think we have to try to figure out how we're

going to reduce these shootings and so I mean it's not even a left to right this

decision anymore it's just what are the right or wrong policies to put in place

to see if we can get a reduction in these shootings and so you know for me

it's obviously a mental health issue if you look at the person and you look at

what people were saying about the person we just have to work on the signaling on

this stuff and get it right because I mean when you have an editor who's given

a picture to the security guy there needs to be a way to draw a circle

around that person and make sure that that is that those red flags go up

before something politicizing it Martha is not going to help the situation I'm

bringing the president into the orbit of the thing is not fair to the president

it's also not fair to the situation and so I'm glad that guy walked it back

let's go through some of what happened this week obviously news that a lot of

people are not expecting judge Justice Anthony Kennedy stepping down from the

bench the president has now said that he's going to have his nominee ready by

July 9 which is a week from Monday it's a short timeframe

he says he's got five people in mind two of them are women do you know who he's

gonna pick yeah I don't 100% know where he's gonna

pick I know he the family seems to be close to a few of these guys so we'll

have to see what happens but the president picked a great jurist last

I'm justice Korsak is a phenomenal jurist he'll pick a phenomenal jurist

this time what I what I definitely think people should just relax for a second

and give him the opportunity to pick somebody before they they they start

digging trenches again you know so this it's sort of weird you know I was

thinking about Justice Scalia we're talking about him earlier today it was

97 to zero justice scalia was appointed to the Supreme Court and so we're in a

situation now where it goes right down the partisan lines you had to go into

the nuclear option for this situation but in the meantime if you think about

the quality of the people that the president is going to pick from an

interview these are all exceptional Americans exceptional people and so I

just hope we can just dial it back a little on the polemics if you will so in

terms of the White House the chief of staff yesterday he made comments

basically Kelly and Conway came out you know we have no indication that John

Kelly is considering leaving the White House tonight it sounded like the

president kind of opened that door a little bit to that possibility well

listen I think it's ultimately the the you know the President's Choice and so

obviously if chief of staff Kelly wants to leave he can leave voluntarily but

it's gonna be up to the two of them we can say there and speculate about that

but I mean you know what I hope Ickx might come back what I tell you I'm not

in love with and I continue to say this I'm not in love with the leaking you

know the the John Kelly deserves the opportunity to have that conversation

with the president and it deserves to stay inside of that circle and so I just

find it ironic that every time something super-sensitive is happening one way or

the other it ends up dispersing from the White

House and this sort of ridiculous anonymous way so I'm not totally in love

a lot of people who like to talk as you know yeah they run out they get their

cell phone out of a out of the locker and they run outside and they and they

like chitter chattering and it's sort of not fair and so you know I have had

issues with general Kelly in the past he's had issues obviously with me but I

think he's owed the respect frankly of having that conversation with the

president he's been a decorated veteran he served this country well and he

should be able to leave gracefully alright I want to play something for you

because there's watch the contrast between what President Trump said

yesterday when he was at Foxconn in Wisconsin and what some of his

critics are saying about what they hope will happen to the economy watch this

America is open for business more than it has ever been open for businesses

made in the USA it's all happening and it's happening very very quickly if a

recession hits that's where he bottom falls out I think so I feel like the

bottom has to fall out at some point and by the way I'm hoping for it because I

think one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy fabulous very hoping

for hoping for a recession I mean this is all part of the derangement sooner

the people talk about ok this is same thing that got the Reuters editor in

trouble they just severely just like the president some of it's more related to

his style it's really not related to the policies because I challenged and I'm

sure I'll get lit up on Twitter after I say this but I challenge you to come up

with one policy over the last 17 or 18 month that the president has promulgated

that has led to a disruption in your life or a lower living standard or some

kind of disavow of your quality of life and the answer is there hasn't been any

so obviously the economy does fall that will be an issue for all politicians and

will be issue for all all companies in America and that'll be a lot of pain so

I really wish that bill didn't say that having said that the very good news is

the policies have been fantastic the stimulus has been fantastic as relates

to the tax cuts that they were celebrating earlier today and I think

you're gonna see maybe even a four and a half five percent print on GDP for the

second quarter and so the Economist says skybridge think that we've got a very

good accelerated quarterly growth going into the end of the and let's play this

from the president in the interview with Maria just watch this get your thought

on it because we've seen the impact to the economy what do you want to see

happen now does the economy need even more stimulus are you looking for a

Phase two we're doing a Phase two will be doing it

probably in October maybe a little sooner than that and it'll be more of a

middle class we did have left for the middle class but this will be even more

aimed at the middle class one of the things we're thinking about is bringing

to 21 percent down to 20 and then for the most part the rest of it would go

right to the middle class it's a great stimulus which tax code is he talking

about there 21 to 20 yeah that that's a corporate tax

it's at 21 now he's talking about possibly bringing it down to 20 which

means it probably will happen but here's the great thing about him and this will

ultimately be his legacy he recognizes that he has to close the gap here in

terms of income spread and helping middle-class families and lower middle

class families on the campaign that was his pledge and it's policies like that

that are free market based and their orientation that are gonna get that done

more than any other policy so some of the trade issues if you lower corporate

tax rates a little bit further is that an incentive for companies like Harley

Davidson for example to maybe change their mind

on the margin but I think what's happening is they're jumping the gun on

the president they're miss sizing his negotiation strategy and I think he's

asking him to be patient those allies of ours and also the Chinese know that the

trade situation is unbalanced and they know that he's using that as a cudgel

those tariffs bring it down and I would call on all corporations large and small

to give the president a little bit of time to watch him work this thing the

way he worked the North Korean situation and so for me not by the end of the year

my guess is he's very close on NAFTA he's very close on negotiating something

with the EU and I think it's gonna be for good news for everybody see me a big

week off for Mexico chill big election they're happy for thank you very much

happy fourth - you're good to see you
