U.S. President Donald Trump is sounding the alarm about North Korea.

He says Pyongyang's reckless pursuit of nuclear missiles threatens the United States.

Lee Jeong-yeon has more on Trump's debut State of the Union address.

U.S. President Donald Trump delivered his maiden State of the Union speech to Congress

on Tuesday.

He said "maximum pressure" will be placed on North Korea as he referred to the regime's

"cruel dictatorship" and its "reckless pursuit of nuclear missiles" that could threaten the

U.S..

"Complacency and concessions only invite aggression and provocations.

I will not repeat the mistakes of the past administrations that got us into this dangerous

position."

He also narrated the incident with the late Otto Warmbier, whose family was present at

the address, as well as the story of the North Korean defector Ji Seong-ho who was also in

the audience.

Aside from comments on the regime, he mainly stressed 'unity' and 'reconciliation' of different

parties to come together 'for the people.'

Immigration took a pivotal portion of his speech.

He said he would push for policies that focus on the 'best interests of American workers

and American families,' by crafting a bipartisan approach to immigration reform.

He mentioned the 'four pillars' plan.

This includes a pathway to provide citizenship to 1-point-8 million unregistered immigrants

in the U.S., building a wall on the Southern border with Mexico, abolishing the visa lottery

to move towards a 'merit-based immigration system,' and ending chain migration to protect

the nuclear family.

He also took credit for the record-low unemployment rate and rising wages after 'years of stagnation,'

and claimed that 2-point-4 million new jobs were created since his election.

Trump called on the Congress to produce a bill that generates at least 1-point-5 trillion

U.S. dollars for investment on new infrastructure... to 'permanently fix the infrastructure deficit.'

He also said the U.S. has enacted the biggest tax cuts and reforms in its history, a move

that, according to Trump, will provide 'tremendous relief for the middle class and small businesses.'

Trump Touts Record-Low Black Unemployment, WATCH How Congressional Black Caucus Responds

During his first State of the Union address on Tuesday night, President Donald Trump touted

the record-low black unemployment numbers his administration has achieved in just its

first year.

Video footage shows how the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) responded, and it is extremely

telling.

According to IJR, when President Donald Trump stepped into the chamber of the U.S. House

of Representatives on January 30, 2018, to deliver his first official State of the Union

address, the crowd erupted in applause.

He gave nods to several of the guests in attendance — from the first responders who had worked

search and rescue in Houston, Texas, to the newly dubbed "Legend from Louisiana,"

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise — and then began his speech.

Trump's remarks ran the gamut, from the economy and the early results of the recently-passed

tax cuts to the defeat of ISIS.

When he mentioned the record-low unemployment rate among African-Americans, most of the

crowd stood and applauded.

But, strangely, not the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), a group which you would think

would be over-the-moon about this jobs report.

President Donald Trump highlighted the African-American employment rate during his State of the Union

address on Tuesday night, but a cutaway shot of the Congressional Black Caucus showed their

response was anything but enthusiastic.

"Unemployment claims have hit a 45-year low," Trump said during his speech.

"African-American unemployment stands at the lowest rate ever recorded, and Hispanic

American unemployment has also reached the lowest levels in history."

The camera then pivoted to a shot of the Congressional Black Caucus fully seated, offering no response

to the Republican president's statement.

Judging by the CBC's reaction, it would appear that they don't want to see the African-American

community be put back to work.

It certainly looks like they're not happy at all to see that President Trump is helping

blacks help themselves.

But, of course, that's really no surprise when you consider the fact that they have

been trading welfare for votes for decades now.The Democrats have been using unemployed

blacks as a political tool for years, and this is why none of the members of the Congressional

Black Caucus stood and applauded when President Donald Trump announced that more blacks than

ever have jobs.

Inside, every single member of the CBC was having their own personal "oh, shit" moment.

"How will we secure the black vote if blacks no longer need welfare?" they were likely

asking themselves.

As Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson infamously noted, the best

thing that you can possibly do for a person on public assistance is to get them off of

it — give them a way to provide for themselves and their family if only they are willing

to put in the work.

However, this is a nightmare scenario for Democratic politicians whose very livelihood

depends on keeping blacks oppressed.

President Donald Trump has done what Dr. Carson suggested in record time.

The black unemployment numbers after just one year of his presidency prove as much.

Likewise, the reaction to his speech from members of the Congressional Black Caucus

on Tuesday proves that they really do not have the best interests of their own community

at heart.

At best, they're no more than a bunch of dishonest opportunists who have been getting

rich off the suffering of their own people for far too long.

They don't call CNN "fake news" for nothing.

Too bad for one of the liberal network's contributors, he found that out the hard way

after trying to bash President Donald Trump — and it only took mere seconds for his

pathetic attempt to backfire big time.

For reasons unknown, the left refused to cheer President Donald Trump's achievements, even

though they benefit from them.

Despite the fact that he's been responsible for so much success, Democrats would rather

choose their party over what's best for the American people.

In the meantime, their approval ratings are suffering.

Take, for instance, a look at the poll numbers after last night's State of the Union address.

Although the liberal media wants you to think that everyone hated it, we're now learning

that the opposite is actually true.

In all, 75% of the Americans who watched it loved it, whereas only 25% disapproved.

Once again touting their opinion as far more popular than it really is, the left is showing

their staggering bias now more than ever.

Sadly, even those who are supposed to remain impartial don't even care about hiding their

disdain for President Donald Trump anymore.

Proving that most recently was Brian Karem, who is the White House correspondent for Playboy

and also a CNN contributor.

Rather than remain neutral, seeing how he's supposed to be reporting the facts, the man

skews left just about every chance he gets.

In fact, he did just that during last nights SOTU by going on quite the rant during Trump's

speech.

Too bad for him, it would all blow up in his face just a few seconds in — but by then,

it was too late.

Even worse, his flagrant lies are still up on Twitter as the man apparently has no shame."Our

motto is 'in God we trust.'

– WRONG.

Our motto has been E Pluribus Unum – out of many One," Karem tweeted.

Too bad for him, he couldn't have been more wrong, as The Daily Caller reports, and it

took mere moments for the American people to pounce:The so-called "motto" that Brian

Karem was referring to is actually the de facto motto.

Essentially what this means is that it was once the unwritten motto of America.

However, that would all change in 1956 when Congress approved "In God We Trust" as

America's official motto.

Now, it's everywhere.

It's on our money, it's in our courthouses, and, perhaps best of all, it was above President

Donald Trump's head in the Capitol building as he was delivering his State of the Union

address.

As if that wasn't enough, as many Twitter users pointed out, all it takes is a simple

Google search to learn the truth.Sadly, Brian Karem demonstrated exactly what today's

standard of journalism consists of — which isn't much.

Rather than researching and vetting, idiots in the liberal media put out whatever opinion

or lie they want and merely shrug it off as nothing but an "oopsie" after the damage

has already been done.

Not only is this irresponsible, it's downright dangerous.

The American people used to think that we could depend on our media to bring us the

truth.

However, people are slowly waking up to the fact that this is no longer the case.

It's really sad that full-grown adults can't put their emotion in the backseat and focus

on the job ahead of them anymore.

Instead, it's like dealing with children who can't separate fact from feeling.

Too bad for the liberal media, President Trump is helping the American people realize how

deceitful and dishonest the press has come.

Even better yet, he's showing Americans how the liberal media acts as an arm of the

Democrat Party, cherry picking information that furthers the left's agenda.

In the end, the American people want the truth — the whole truth.

We're smart enough to make up our own minds so long as we have all the information in

front of us.

It'd be wise for the liberal media to acknowledge this reality before it's too late and they

lose the last thread of credibility that they're desperately holding onto.

to hurt the American people more than help.

As it turns out, it looks like the results are in, and now that people are getting their

There's no question that Democrats are out to get President Donald Trump.

It seems like every single day, we're hearing some new reason from the left as to why we

should hate the president.

Too bad for them, each attack they launch seems to blow up in their face.

Their attempts grow more desperate and pathetic by the day, and recent events prove no different.

After Trump recently passed a major piece of legislation, his tax cuts, liberals were

quick to say that the president was only out to make businesses richer while the little

man gets mere "crumbs," as Nancy Pelosi likes to call hard-earned cash.

However, it wasn't long before Democrats were eating crow.

Just like that, business after business announced that they would be giving out anywhere between

$1,000 and $2,500 in bonuses to each of their employees, thanks to the money they were set

to save from Trump's tax cut.

Although Democrats were more than embarrassed at the time, things just got a whole lot worse

for them.

Come to find out, Americans all across the country are getting their first paycheck since

Trump's tax cuts, and quite a few people are seeing something a bit different than

what they are used to seeing.

Exposed in quite the interesting Twitter thread, a man who goes by "Federalist Musket"

states that his company issued "its first tax cut payroll" since Trump's policy

went into effect, and his entire office went into hysterics.

Apparently, employees were left absolutely shocked by how much extra money they had on

their check.

So my company issued its first tax cut payroll today, and it's been hilarious around here.

In fact, people were so stunned that they quietly called their boss to make sure that

there wasn't a "glitch" that was responsible for the excess funds.

At first people were calling us here in the IT department in hushed voices.

Did you, uh, you know, uh get more money than usual?"

Of course, when "Federalist Musket" started to explain to everyone that the extra money

wasn't a mistake but rather an effect of Trump's tax cuts, well, everyone just about

lost their minds.

No, it's not a glitch.

You got your tax cut today.

YES!

You and everyone else got the tax cut that was passed in December.

Although it took a while for people to comprehend what had happened, before long, the entire

office was in high spirits.

Even better yet, everyone was openly talking about how much more they had gotten on their

paychecks thanks to Trump.

It's taking a bit for the news to get around and sink in.

As people are finding out, they are openly talking about how much more they got this

week.

And now they're also talking about how well their 401ks are doing.

In the end, "Federalist Musket" states that he was happy for them — and why wouldn't

he be?

Trump set out to do something great for Americans, and now that people are seeing the effects,

they've been left completely and utterly shocked that these weren't the mere "crumbs"

Democrats had been talking about.

The left wants you to think that President Donald Trump is only out for himself, but

that just isn't the case.

They've also been claiming that these tax cuts would only benefit the rich, but "Federalist

Musket" seems to have singlehandedly obliterated the narrative.

Furthermore, Times Free Press reports that these kinds of changes are going to be seen

all across the country.

This isn't just some tiny insignificant amount — this is such a big boost that it

had an entire office building abuzz at the mere sight of one paycheck.

Along with that, average Americans are now seeing that the tax cuts were meant for all

Americans, not just "greedy corporations."

At this point, the left better get it together because President Trump is mopping the floor

with them.

Everything they warn the American people about turns out to be untrue and all the attacks

on Trump only end up blowing up in their faces.

In the end, Democrats look like a bunch of sniveling school children as they continue

to whine about every little thing.

Americans are waking up to their lies and deceit.

It's only a matter of time before the entire party implodes

once

and

for all.
