In his latest comments on Tuesday, Trump called players who kneel during the national anthem
"disgraceful", adding it should be banned.

President Trump said he was "ashamed" of the protests,... again accusing the players taking
part of disrespecting America and its flag.
He added the NFL should ban players from kneeling while the national anthem is played.
His latest comments were a bit subdued, however, compared to the end of last week, when he
called them "sons of bitches" who should be fired.
He even praised the Dallas Cowboys for standing during the anthem for their game the day before,
saying it was "progress."
But the team did kneel prior to the anthem as a symbolic gesture of solidarity with other
teams that protested across the league over the weekend.
This feud has rumbled on for a week now... and there are concerns it may be distracting
the president from other domestic and diplomatic issues, but Trump insists it is not.
