North Korea.

it can... to make sure a war does not break out.

He did emphasize however,... that President Trump's number one priority,... is ensuring

President Trump issues new travel ban for EIGHT countries

BAN: Eight countries are on the revised US travel ban list.

The new order replaced his ban on travellers from six Muslim-majority nations entering the United States. The new restrictions will affect those coming from Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen and Somalia, as well as Venezuela, North Korea, and Chad.

Officials have said the new order will go into effect on October 18, but that any valid visas from affected countries wont be revoked.

The list has tailored rules depending on which country it is impacting Venezuela, which will only apply to certain government officials and their families.

Changes from the previous order include restrictions on Sudan being lifted. People from Iraq will also not be subjected to an outright blanket travel ban but will instead face enhanced vetting.

Shortly after the announcement, Trump tweeted: Making America Safe is my number one priority. We will not admit those into our country we cannot safely vet. His previous travel ban sparked international outrage and a number of legal challenges.

The new proclamation says: North Korea does not cooperate with the United States government in any respect and fails to satisfy all information-sharing requirements..

Yesterday, Trump said of the ban: The tougher, the better. After the September 15 Parsons Green bombing attack in London, he wrote on Twitter that the new ban should be far larger, tougher and more specific – but stupidly, that would not be politically correct. The expiring ban blocked entry into the US by people from the six countries for 90 days and locked out most aspiring refugees for 120 days to give Trumps administration time to conduct a worldwide review of U.S.

vetting procedures for foreign visitors. Critics have accused the Republican president of discriminating against Muslims in violation of constitutional guarantees of religious liberty and equal protection under the law; breaking existing US immigration law and stoking religious hatred.

Some federal courts blocked the ban, but the US Supreme Court allowed it to take effect in June with some restrictions.

The Supreme Court will hear arguments on October 10 on whether the current ban discriminates against Muslims in violation of the Constitution.

North Korea stages rallies in support of Kim Jong-un and denounces Trump's UN speech - Duration: 1:57.

Pyongyang sent an open letter calling on nations to denounce Trump's speech at the UN.

Also several mass protests were staged in North Korea.

The weekend rallies targeted the U.S. administration while showing support for their leader Kim

Jong-un.

Kwon Jang-ho zooms in on the rare sight.

Over the weekend, hundreds of thousands were said to have taken to the streets across North

Korea, armed with banners and slogans denouncing the U.S. and Trump.

The biggest rally was staged reportedly in Pyongyang, with over a hundred thousand gathered

at Kim Il-sung Square.

Senior officials were said to have read out a statement by Kim Jong-un, before making

their own speeches and rally cries, vowing to achieve their "final victory" over the

"U.S. imperialists."

These rallies came after Kim Jong-un released an unprecedented statement on Friday condemning

U.S. President Trump's speech at the UN General Assembly earlier last week.

Written in the first person, the statement called Trump "mentally deranged" and pledged

to take the strongest countermeasures against the U.S.

Trump had called Kim a "rocket man" on a suicide mission in his speech, and had threatened

to "totally destroy" North Korea if necessary.

The ongoing volley of insults and threats has put other nations on edge.

However, Pyongyang also called on them to take their side in condemning Trump in an

open letter to parliaments around the world on Monday.

The regime's foreign affairs committee is said to have asked all countries that "love

independence, peace and justice" to fulfill their duty of maintaining these values...

and remain vigilant of the U.S. leader's actions.

The letter warned that Trump's words were a big miscalculation that could lead to nuclear

war.

It added the mission of the committee is to promote friendly relations with all parliaments

and peace-loving people around the world.

There is no information as to which nations the letter was sent.

roger goodell response to trump [ trump nfl [ roger goodell on trump ] - Duration: 1:56.

NFL teams have issued a variety of statements over the last couple of days in response to comments from President Donald Trump and some of them have opted to throw their support behind the statement released by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Saturday.

Goodell called the President's comments "divisive" and said they show a "lack of respect" for the league and players.

The owners of the Titans, Chargers and Steelers all cited Goodell's statement when addressing the issue.

Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk said "I completely agree with Commissioner Goodell" and that she is "proud to stand with our players and support them in their work on and off the football field."

Adams Strunk did not mention the President specifically, but added that she knows anyone making disparaging remarks about players "has to be the result of not knowing what they bring to our communities or what they have accomplished."

In addition to saying he "wholeheartedly" agrees with Goodell.
