Defending President Trump,.. Washington's envoy to the United Nations is standing with

her boss over his outspoken verbal attack on North Korea during his first appearance

at the UN General Assembly.

Nikki Haley insists Trump's branding of the North Korean leader has worked,... and says

The U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, has defended President Trump's first address

to the UN General Assembly, in which he referred to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as "Rocket

Man."

Speaking with ABC News on Wednesday,... Haley said this is how the international community

is referring to the North's leader.

In an interview with CBS the same day,... Haley also said President Trump does not want

a war,... stressing that Washington will not give up on diplomacy.

Her comments come after President Trump warned the North of "total destruction" in his UN

speech.

Trump's strong rhetoric against North Korea underscores his administration's strong determination

to tackle the regime's nuclear issue.

Referring to his UN address as the strongest level of rhetoric,... analysts say it could

mean more than a simple warning.

Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis has hinted that it's time to prepare for military

options against Pyongyang,... amid the diplomatic efforts exerted to resolve the standoff.

Speaking at an annual conference of the U.S. Air Force Association,... Mattis said Washington

needs to face the somber reality that military action could be necessary if diplomacy fails.

That $80 billion could have paid the entire cost of:

So why can we afford to spend the same amount on buying weapons?

It's a matter of priorities.

be strengthening America.

Spending it on more bombs and military machinery funnels money away from our people and into

Addressing Kim Jong-uns regime, President Trump vowed to totally destroy North Korea if the US is ever threatened by the hermit regime.

In his strictest warning to date, President Trump described Pyongyangs leader as a rocket man on a suicide mission for himself and his regime.

The US President underlined his hopes for the international community to isolate North Korea until the regime ceases its hostile actions. We will stand together for freedom, for justice, for humanity, President Trump added.

The customary 15 minute speech was a chance for Mr Trump to promote global peace, prosperity, sovereignty and accountability, Mr Trumps aides have claimed on Friday.

According to US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, the rest of there world was anxious to hear the controversial figurehead.

Speaking on Friday, she said: They are all anxious to see what the US delegation looks like next week, and I think they will be heavily impressed with the fact that we have the President, the Vice President, the Secretary of State, and many members of the National Security Council coming to really show the US strength that we have in the world.

She added: I personally think he slaps the right people, he hugs the right people, and he comes out with the US being very strong in the end. Mr Trump, who arrived at the UN HQ on Monday, was understood to focus heavily today on the issue of and Iran.

South Korean President to deliver first speech at UNGA... Moon, Trump summit ... - Duration: 2:32.

First let's start things off with the President's fourth day of his visit to New York .

the United Nations stage.

He's had a busy couple of days this week in New York, but this speech at the UN General

Assembly happening in about 45 minutes time that the entire world would have their eyes

President Moon Jae-in will take the podium at the 72nd UN General Assembly Thursday morning,

local time, to deliver a speech before around 127 world leaders gathered for the annual

meeting at the UN headquarters in New York.

The new South Korean leader is scheduled to speak after the leaders of Serbia and Haiti

and will become the first South Korean president to address UNGA in his first year in office

since South and North Korea together joined the United Nations in 1991.

The former human right lawyer-turned-liberal leader elected on a policy of engagment vis-a-vis

North Korea is widely expected to use the UN stage to seek global support for his drive

to put maximum pressure on North Korea to leave the rogue state no other option but

to give up its nuclear weapons.

Following his speech at the UN, South Korean President Moon Jae-in will meet with his U.S.

counterpart to discuss North Korea's nuclear crisis amid escalating tensions over whether

President Donald Trump's harsh rhetoric against North Korean leader Kim Jong-un could lead

to a miscalculation.

Jimmy Kimmel Tears Apart Trump, Republicans, And Fox News In Healthcare Bill Showdown - Duration: 5:35.

Republicans in the Senate still have about nine days left to pass their horrible health

care bill known as the Graham-Cassidy bill.

So far, just like last time, one of the loudest voices speaking out about this disaster of

a bill is late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel from Jimmy Kimmel Live.

So far this week, Jimmy Kimmel has spent an extraordinary amount of time talking about

the dangers of this health care legislation again, just like he did over the summer.

He took the time to call out basically everyone who is pushing this horrible piece of legislation.

But let's start with the most obvious, back in the summer when Jimmy Kimmel was one of

the most vocal people speaking out against the legislation, he mentioned the fact that

his son had recently had surgery that is now a pre-existing condition that the child has

to carry with him for the rest of his life.

The family's insurance rates go up, and under the Republican plan, they would lose their

health insurance coverage, or their health insurance company's could either jack up the

rates, or deny them completely.

After he gave his impassioned monologue back then, Senator Cassidy, Bill Cassidy came on

the show, and invoked what he called the Kimmel Test, to make sure that no healthcare legislation

from Republicans would deny people with pre-existing conditions, or jack up your rates just because

of pre-existing conditions.

That was the Kimmel Test, and it was Cassidy himself who came up with it, and he promised

never to support legislation that didn't pass that test.

Well this week, Jimmy Kimmel called out Senator Cassidy for clearly lying to his face about

the kind of legislation he would support, not to mention the fact that Cassidy's one

of the guys who wrote this actual disaster legislation that's currently going through

the Senate.

Here's was Kimmel said about that initial interview he had with Cassidy, "He proposed

a bill that would allow states to do all the things he said he would not let them do.

He made a total about face, which means he either doesn't understand his own bill, or

he lied to me.

It's simple as that."

Well, I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that, yeah, Cassidy clearly lied about

this.

But he didn't just lie to Jimmy Kimmel, he lied to every single one of us, and thankfully,

Jimmy Kimmel is taking the time to call him out on this.

Because yes, it personally affect Jimmy Kimmel, it also personally affects every single person

in this country, except maybe the one percent, because they're the ones who are getting a

tax break from this legislation.

But this, the fact that Kimmel, once again has to come out, and essentially take over

the role of democratic politicians, who should be out there in the media saying the exact

same things that Kimmel is, not talking in policy terms, or giving us this roundabout,

"Oh, the Republican bill's bad, bad, bad."

Kimmel called out the lies, he played the old clip, played or explained what's in the

bill, and then flat out said he lied.

He lied to me, he lied to you, he lied to all of us, and that's what you need to know.

Kimmel's the one leading this.

I haven't seen any politicians come out, and talk as succinctly and honestly as Kimmel

has about this piece of legislation.

But again, it didn't just stop at Cassidy, Kimmel went on, and he went after Donald Trump,

he went after Brian Kilmeade on Fox and Friends, who's attacking Kimmel for taking such an

outspoken lead as far as opposition to this health care bill goes.

He went as far as to mention the fact that Brian Kilmeade kisses his ass in public any

time they meet, and even asked Kimmel to write a blurb for his book, which Kimmel says he

did.

But Kilmeade is a big tough guy on TV, and according Kimmel, not so much when you meet

him in person.

He also took time to call out Lindsey Graham, the other co-writer of the bill with Bill

Cassidy, Donald Trump, and Chris Christie.

Jimmy Kimmel is hitting on all fronts.

I'm not saying he's the only one out there, but he is damn sure the most vocal about this.

He's telling more people than anyone else is at the moment.

Kimmel, a late night talk show host, while I admire what he's doing, he shouldn't have

to be the one doing this.

That is the job of the media.

That is the job of politicians, not entertainers.

Yes, it's great that he's doing it, but it's also sad that he has to.

There are people who's job it is to do those kinds of things, but they suck so badly at

it, that we have to rely on late night talk show hosts, and comedians like Kimmel, or

Samantha Bee Or John Oliver to come out there, and actually give us the truth, and explain

it in a way that every single person in this country can understand.

That's what politicians are supposed to do.

Instead, we have to get the real news from late night talk show hosts.

Trump Blocks Cancer Patient On Twitter After She Criticizes Healthcare Bill - Duration: 3:36.

We all know that Donald Trump's preferred method of talking to the American public is

by tweeting.

Kellyanne Conway, White House counselor, has confirmed that Donald Trump loves using Twitter

because it's his most direct route to speak directly to the American public unfiltered,

uncensored.

Just whatever he wants to say, it goes out there, and if he is using this as some kind

of presidential tool, then it wouldn't make sense to block anyone on Twitter from being

able to communicate with you if that truly was your sole purpose here, but as it turns

out, earlier this week Donald Trump decided to block a woman on Twitter because she was

critical of the Republican plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.

But this wasn't just some angry citizen.

This was an angry citizen who also happens to have Stage IV Hodgkin's lymphoma and she's

being critical of the healthcare plan because she understands in a way that most people

in this country can't possibly how important it is to have health insurance and what this

Republican healthcare plan would do to people like her, whose premiums would rise to almost

$140,000 per year because of her preexisting condition.

Now the woman who was blocked by the president, Laura Packard, has been steadily tweeting

at the president since he was sworn in, usually about the issue of healthcare.

Over the summer she posted a video of herself that later went viral talking about the Republican

healthcare plan, her own health problems, and how this legislation that they had proposed

at the time would absolutely be a death sentence for somebody like her and the millions more

in this country who are in similar situations, but apparently Donald Trump had had enough.

He didn't want to hear anymore whining out of this cancer patient, so he decided to block

her and effectively cut off any means that this woman may have had to speak directly

to the president of the United States.

Everything that Miss Packard had said through her tweets was absolutely true.

Everything she said in her video was absolutely true and again, if the current Graham-Cassidy

bill were passed, the way it is right now from what we know, her premiums would rise

to $140,000 a year.

That is not a sustainable price for anyone unless you're making over $10 million a year

because even bottom-level millionaires probably wouldn't be able to afford that much spending

on healthcare every single year, but that is exactly what the Republicans are trying

to do, and as Miss Packard pointed out back in the summer, this would be a death sentence

for people like her.

This is not something that average American citizens or even 99% of the country would

be able to survive.

People would have to give up their insurance if the Republicans allow insurance companies

to continue to jack up our rates any time we get the sniffles, but this Graham-Cassidy

legislation would allow them to do exactly that.

According to new reports, the special prosecutor has specifically asked for documents from

the White House pertaining both to Donald Trump's firing of former FBI Director James

Comey as well as the meetings that took place after Trump fired Comey.

He wants to know what was said, who was involved, and essentially whether or not Donald Trump

committed obstruction of justice by firing James Comey because he wouldn't tell the public

that he wasn't involved in this particular investigation because clearly now he is.

This new records request from the special prosecutor puts the spotlight squarely on

Donald Trump himself.

This is not about Comey.

This is not about Manafort.

This isn't about his kids or any of his other associates, this spotlight is squarely pointed

directly at Donald Trump and the actions that he took to obstruct the investigation into

Russian collusion.

This is a very big step forward for this investigation, again because it does tie in directly to the

actions of the president.

Now, if Mueller is looking for obstruction of justice charges, the leaked memo from James

Comey about that meeting with Donald Trump could very well be the centerpiece of whatever

it is that Mueller is trying to build now for these obstruction charges.

But one thing is very clear about all this, and that is that Mueller is not just treating

Trump as some kind of bystander as the rest of his campaign was meeting with Russians,

talking with Russians, emailing with them, and basically trying to work out some kind

of deal to get either dirt on Hillary Clinton or some kind of foreign help with the campaign

in exchange for a very lax policy towards Russian sanctions or any other thing that

Russia wanted from the US.

No. Trump was not a bystander, and Mueller knows it, and that's why he is now focusing

this investigation, at least at the moment, on Donald Trump himself.

What did he say?

What did he do?

But more importantly, we have to have intent.

If it was Donald Trump's intent to convince Comey to stop the investigation, then yes,

that is obstruction of justice and yes, that is an impeachable offense.

However, as many legal experts have pointed out, typically you don't just go for the obstruction

of justice charge.

That is something that you start with and then you build from there.

I believe that's probably what Mueller is doing at this point, not to mention the fact

that he still wants to conduct interviews with former White House officials, including

Sean Spicer, Reince Priebus, Hope Hicks, who is still at the White House, and a host of

other people who were present at some of these meetings and who heard things from other people

within the administration.

He wants to meet with them, find out what they know, and find out who else he needs

to talk to in order to take down this entire corrupt administration.

Donald Trump's days as president of the United States are clearly numbered.

There is no doubt in my mind that he is not going to make it far enough to be able to

run for reelection in 2020, and all we need is just a little bit more evidence from this

special prosecutor to finally take down the head of this corrupt administration.
