Trump says China had agreed to reduce tariffs on U.S. cars - Duration: 2:07.

US President Donald Trump says China agreed to reduce and remove tariffs on

American cars as a result of a trade war ceasefire the tone of engagement over

confrontation is a welcome change for the global economy overall but some

remain cautious that the truce may only exist to help buy time

Kim Jiyeon zooms in on the issue

following the trade war ceasefire between Washington and Beijing announced

over the weekend US president Donald Trump hails sakru's once again through

his favorite means of communication social media President Trump tweeted on

Sunday that China had agreed to reduce and remove tariffs on US cars below the

current 40 percent level that we carried the same promising Tony used on board

Air Force One when he told reporters on his way back home that it's an

incredible deal that would have a positive impact on farming referring to

the trade truce he reached with his Chinese counterpart President Xi

Jingping on the sidelines of the g20 summit in

Argentina Washington agreed to delay a tariff increase on more than 200 billion

u.s. dollars whether Chinese imports to 25% from 10 percent originally planned

to go into effect on January 1st while China agreed to resume purchases

of US farm and energy commodities the two leaders also agreed to negotiate

over structural changes to China's policies on technology transfers

intellectual property and cyber theft however concerns are still hovering over

the notion on how the two biggest economies will iron out their

differences including ways to narrow their trade imbalance as they are

already presenting different renderings of their agreement the White House said

90 days of truce was agreed upon by Washington and Beijing to settle such

differences adding that if no deal is reached tariff rates will be raised to

25% as previously planned Chinese officials as was multiple state-run

media outlets have made no mention of those specific concerns or the 90-day

deadline raising speculation that both nations could end up locking horns again

Trump's remarks on second summit with Kim signal revival of denuclearization talks - Duration: 1:51.

U.S. President Donald Trump has confirmed that he's still ready to hold a second summit

with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in the next few months.

Does this suggest there is progress on denuclearization talks at all?

We'll look at that question further, but first our Park Hee-jun reports on Trump's latest

remarks.

U.S. President Donald Trump has reaffirmed that his second summit with North Korean leader

Kim Jong-un will probably take place early next year.

Speaking to reporters on his return trip from the G20 summit in Argentina,... Trump said

he expects the meeting to happen in January or February.

He also said three locations are being considered for the summit,... adding it will be held

(quote) "within plane distance."

Although he did not elaborate on whose plane he was referring to,... it raises speculation

the next Kim-Trump summit will again take place in Asia.

Asked whether Kim would visit the U.S., President Trump only said he will "at some point."

Kim Jong-un's private jet is only capable of flying to Asian countries that are not

so far from the North.

The remarks bring countries such as Vietnam, Mongolia, or Indonesia under the spotlight,...

as all three have North Korean embassies.

President Trump's comments are seen as a positive sign amid a stall in the denuclearization

talks between Pyeongyang and Washington.

Watchers say it reflects the Trump administration's unwavering commitment to maintaining dialogue

with the North.

The South Korean government has also taken the wheel in finding a way to restart the

two sides' negotiations,... as seen through the Moon-Trump summit last week.

Where working-level negotiations failed,... top-down negotiations are now adding momentum

to North Korea diplomacy.

Now it's up to the North Korean leader to make a decision.

There's a short period of time until the proposed date for the next North Korea-U.S. summit,...

and experts say only Kim Jong-un's will can make it happen.

Trump Admin BANS 2 Million Federal Workers From Discussing Impeachment At Work - Duration: 3:10.

Last wednesday, nearly 2 million federal employees received a memo that actually came as quite

a shock.

That memo told those 2 million federal employees they were not allowed to discuss the possibility

of Donald Trump's impeachment.

While at work, the federal government, the Trump administration, sent out a memo to 2

million federal workers restricting their free speech, telling them that they can't

basically talk about a worst case scenario for President Donald Trump.

They also told them that they can't use the word resist, you know, like the Hashtag resist

the anti-Trump movement there.

Um, this is full blown fascist dictatorship in the United States today.

We're literally telling federal workers what they can and cannot say while they're at work.

We're dictating their speech for them.

And now here's the thing, the administration is claiming that because Donald Trump is running

for president again, if you're out there talking about these kinds of things, then that would

be a violation of the hatch act.

You know, because you're sitting there advocating for or against a politician.

Um, unfortunately, that's not actually what the Hatch Act covers.

What the hatchet covers is if you're using your official position as your megaphone to

go out there and advocate for or against a politician political party or an issue, you

cannot do that, but if you're sitting in your cubicle at work and you lean over and you

say, Hey, have you seen the news of the day?

It looks like Donald Trump may be impeached.

That's not political speech.

That's just speech that's not advocating for or against a particular politician that's

talking about the news of the day, but to this administration that is a threat and that

is a danger and they're going to put an end to it.

Now according to the memo, it's actually illegal.

They're saying it's illegal for federal employees to engage in these kinds of discussions while

at work, but to me it's not just.

You're not allowed to talk about impeachment because that's illegal and God knows what

we're going to do to you.

If we find out you are not being able to use the word resist, that's what takes this to

the next level.

That's what puts this into full blown.

It's not about the hatch act.

It's not about anything else.

This is fully about Trump getting pissed off, getting scared, being cornered right now,

seeing the walls closing in on him and wanting to lash out at somebody, and unfortunately

it is those 2 million federal employees who are going to pay the price for this.

Hopefully we're not going to see stories start emerging.

We're federal employees are fired for mentioning Donald Trump's impeachment, but if we do see

those stories, I hope those federal workers understand that they have a pretty much slam

dunk case against the federal government for wrongful termination and violation of their

freedom of speech.
