U.S. President Donald Trump praised the historic third inter-Korean summit of the year,...

saying there's been "tremendous progress" with North Korea on several fronts,... including

Pyeongyang's denuclearization.

Speaking to reporters at the White House on Wednesday,...

U.S. President Donald Trump praised the inter-Korean summit,... adding the agreements reached between

the two leaders,... in which the North said it would permanently abolish its key missile

facilities with witnesses,... as being "very good news."

"We had very good news from North Korea, South Korea.

They met and we had great responses.

I got a tremendous letter from Kim Jong Un.

As you know it was delivered three days ago.

We're making tremendous progress with respect to North Korea."

The U.S. leader also talked about the progress being made with North Korea,... putting an

emphasis on the ending of missile and nuclear testing.

"Prior to becoming president, it looked like we were going to war with North Korea and

now we have a lot of progress.

We've gotten our prisoners back.

We are getting our remains back.

They continue to come in.

A lot of tremendous things, but very importantly no missile testing, no nuclear testing.

Now they want to go and put a bid in for the Olympics.

Now we have a lot of very good things going."

Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says the U.S. is prepared to immediately engage

in talks with North Korea in the wake of this week's inter-Korean summit.

The top U.S. diplomat said in a statement,... that the U.S. congratulates the leaders of

the two Koreas on the "successful outcome" of their meeting in Pyeongyang,... and welcomed

the North Korean leader's reaffirmation to denuclearize the peninsula.

Pompeo says he has invited his North Korean counterpart Ri Yong-ho,... to meet him in

New York next week,... on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly,... where they are

both scheduled to be in attendance.

He also said the U.S. has invited Pyeongyang officials to meet the new U.S. special representative

for North Korea, Stephen Biegun,... in Vienna "at the earliest opportunity."

Oops he did it again! President Trump is being mocked online, after his comments about the 'wetness of water'–following Hurricane Florence, have people collectively scratching their heads

   Donald Trump posted a video, on Sept. 18, praising first responders for their efforts after Hurricane Florence ravaged the Carolinas, but one of his remarks has left the internet saying, "WTF?" After referring to the hurricane as "a nasty one…a big one," Trump went on to say that it was, "one of the wettest we have seen from the standpoint of water

" Um, what?  Well, Twitter is having a field day and many users have responded with comments of their own, even using Trump's own syntax against him

 "One of the most dishonest presidents we have ever seen from the standpoint of dishonesty…," wrote one user, while another mocked the President's intelligence

"A classroom of second graders could have written a more thoughtful and coherent statement," they wrote

   Earlier in the day, Trump offered up some additional praise for his administration on Twitter, but not without taking a stab at the Democratic party

"Right now, everybody is saying what a great job we are doing with Hurricane Florence – and they are 100% correct

But don't be fooled, at some point in the near future the Democrats will start ranting…" In addition to being criticized over his poor choice of words, Trump is also receiving backlash over his response to Hurricane Florence versus the United States' response to Hurricane Maria, which hit Puerto Rico a little more than a year ago

Many thought the United States was too slow to help the commonwealth and in the last year, over 3,000 fatalities have been reported, which Trump, sadly, has denied

Donald Trump gave James Comey and the FBI some very bad

news.

Trump is exposing their Deep State secrets to the public.

And he is releasing the smoking gun that will take down Comey and the anti-Trump FBI for

Donald Trump Shocks The Deep State Trey Gowdy and Devin Nunes pushed Trump to

declassify documents about the FBI's efforts to spy on Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

They believe releasing them will show the public that the FBI ran a politically motivated

witch hunt against Trump.

Trump had already ordered the DOJ to release their warrant application to spy on Page.

It showed that the FBI had used the fake news Christopher Steele dossier as the basis for

spying on Page.

However, 20 pages of the application were still blacked out.

Critics Claim A Conspiracy Critics believe the FBI hid those 20 pages

to keep the public from knowing just how badly the Bureau abused its powers.

They contend the FBI was protecting Comey and his allies from scrutiny as opposed to

protecting national security.

Trump's allies urged the President to make the documents public.

The media spent months lying about Trump and journalists claimed Trump was making up the

idea of a Deep State.

They falsely reported that it did not exist.

A Big Problem For James Comey

Trump's allies in Congress cheered the move.

They have spent months pressing him to take this action.

Congressman Mark Meadows tweeted: TRANSPARENCY WINS.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE RIGHT CALL FROM @POTUS.

IT'S TIME TO GET THE FULL TRUTH ON THE TABLE SO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES

ON WHAT HAPPENED AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF THEIR FBI AND JUSTICE DEPARTMENT.

TRANSPARENCY IS A GOOD THING.

IF WE ARE PROTECTING SOURCES AND METHODS IN THESE DOCUMENTS, AMERICANS DESERVE TO KNOW

THE FULL TRUTH.

BOTTOM LINE: IF PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO HIDE THIS INFORMATION FROM YOU, IT SAYS FAR MORE

ABOUT THEM THAN IT DOES THE PRESIDENT OR ANYONE ELSE.

Transparency wins.

This is absolutely the right call from @POTUS.

It's time to get the full truth on the table so the American people can decide for themselves

Comey and others thought they could get away with spying on Trump because Hillary Clinton

would win the election.

But since Trump won, their misdeeds are being brought to the light.

Trump ordering the disclosure of text messages and documents about the Russia probe will

show once and for all that he was correct to call the investigation a hoax.

News Anchor Who Called Trump A White Supremacist Just Got Ironic Dose Of Really Bad Karma - Duration: 5:46.

The once-dominant sports outlet ESPN has come under significant fire in the last few years

for perceived political bias.

The significant and pronounced anti-Conservative bias became abundantly clear after the network

chose to continue to prop up employees that chose to push the company's pronounced and

undeniable anti-Trump agenda.

Yet at one point the same network chose to fire multiple employees simply for expressing

conservative viewpoints.

From firing baseball icon Curt Schilling to allowing prime-time SportsCenter news anchor

Jemele Hill to air her racism publically on social media, the network has an obvious liberal-leaning

and many conservatives have rightly called out this transparent bias.

In 2016 Newsbusters reported ESPN's public editor admitted the network has a known problem.

Jim Brady admitted, "One notion that virtually everyone I spoke to at ESPN dismisses is what

some have perceived as unequal treatment of conservatives who make controversial statements

vs. liberals who do the same."

He added – "ESPN is far from immune from the political fever that has afflicted so

much of the country over the past year.

Internally, there's a feeling among many staffers — both liberal and conservative

— that the company's perceived move leftward has had a stifling effect on discourse inside

the company and has affected its public-facing product.

Consumers have sensed that same leftward movement, alienating some….

For most of its history, ESPN was viewed relatively apolitically.

Its core focus was — and remains today, of course — sports.

Although the nature of sports meant an occasional detour into politics and culture was inevitable,

there was not much chatter about an overall perceived political bias.

If there was any tension internally, it did not manifest itself publicly."

Ben Shapiro notes of Brady's confession of bias at ESPN, stating –

"Brady talked to anchor Bob Ley, who admitted that ESPN has no "diversity of thought."

A conservative employee told Brady that "If you are a Republican or conservative, you

feel the need to talk in whispers."

Jemele Hill, naturally, said "I would challenge those people who say they feel suppressed.

Do you fear backlash, or do you fear right and wrong?"

This is the problem.

And this is why ESPN and the media more generally fail.

It is suppression to label those who disagree with you politically morally evil because

they disagree.

Yet that's what Hill does.

That's what ESPN does, too.

The left believes its opinions and feelings are facts; those who disagree are therefore

either morons or fascists.

That's why Hill thinks Schilling should have been fired for putting up a meme expressing

that transgender people should go to the bathroom in the restroom that matches their biological

sex.

Schilling must be evil."

Now Hill has announced that she and ESPN will be parting ways after 12 years as a commentator,

anchor, reporter, and writer.

She posted on Twitter that Friday would be her last day, stating

This was the place where I became the best version of myself, both personally and professionally,"

she wrote.

"However, the time has come for me to begin a new chapter in my life."

Over the last several weeks, there have been a lot of rumors about my job status.

Today is my last day at ESPN.

A buyout of her reported $2.5 million-per-year contract has been completed and her last day

will be Friday, sources told the New York Post.

Hill attracted a lot of negative attention for both herself and for ESPN last year, as

well as faced a brief suspension from the network for her opinionated political social

media posts and often bigoted commentary, including a tweet referring to President Donald

Trump as a "white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists."

She also sought out and targeted Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones after he stated players

the team's advertisers and refrain from buying any Dallas Cowboys merchandise.

Hill became a rising star with ESPN while hosting the opinion-based talk show "His

& Hers" with Michael Smith.

Both Smith and Hill were later asked to host a more personality-driven 6 p.m. edition of

the network's signature "SportsCenter" program.

"I put in an attorney general that never took control of the Justice Department, Jeff Sessions.

With Robert Mueller's probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election ramping

up, President Donald Trump has pretty regularly attacked Attorney

General Jeff Sessions ... "I'm disappointed in the attorney general for numerous reasons. The attorney general made a

terrible mistake. ... intelligence and law enforcement officials ... These people have the biggest conflict of

interest I have ever seen. ... and the special counsel. The entire thing has been a witch hunt." ... a total witch hunt.

... a rigged witch hunt." And while the million-dollar question on Capitol Hill is whether — or when — Trump will

dare to fire his attorney general ... "Should the president fire Jeff Sessions at this point?" "It would be a

Rebecca Roiphe is a professor at New York Law School and a co-author of a recent paper on the issue. She argues that while

the president's constitutional power to hire and fire his subordinates is undisputed, that power doesn't necessarily mean

he can tell Sessions and other prosecutors how to do their job, outside of general directives. "We want our president to set

broad policy objectives for the Department of Justice, like, 'We're going after k crimes'. But what we don't want the

president to do is to go in and say, you know, 'Go arrest that person, don't arrest this person, don't prosecute this

person,' because that's really scary. I mean, that's where democracy's fault lines are visible, and you could see where

it could all crumble." Roiphe, who's praised Sessions for standing up to Trump, says it's crucial for government attorneys

to put the rule of law above the president's personal interests. Otherwise, she claims, the fairness of every federal

investigation could be compromised in order to "further Trump's political ends." But because neither Congress nor the

Supreme Court has clearly settled the question, many scholars disagree with Roiphe. They say the Constitution gives

the president "unitary" power to control the entire executive branch, which the DOJ is part of. Alan Dershowitz of

Harvard Law School told Slate last December that

"Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Special Counsel Robert Mueller have no power of their

own; they exercise President Trump's prosecutorial power for as long as that arrangement suits President Trump."

Roiphe's counterargument to the unitary view of presidential powers is that there are inevitable separation of powers

within each branch of the government. That concept is known as "intra-branch checks and balances." "Balance of

powers is a very complicated topic, and people have totally different views about what it mean But one thing we know it

means is, nobody should get too much power, right? And when you look at things today and you look at where the checks are

coming from, it's really not coming from Congress. And therefore, you kind of look somewhere else, and where is it

coming from? It's coming from within the executive itself.

One of the things that's holding together our democracy — and I think appropriately so — is these these

professional norms of the government lawyers. And I think that was by design."

As for Jeff Sessions, Trump recently told Bloomberg News the attorney general's job was safe — at least until the midterms.

Fox News contributor Sara Carter is now reporting that the former Secretary of state John Kerry

is under investigations over his possible roll in the Steele Dossier fiasco.

Although it was previously thought that John Kerry wasn't involved in the dossier mess

Carter has no confirmed that The House Select Committee on intelligence is, in fact, investigating

Kerry's possible roll in the fake dossier which was paid by the Democrat Party and the

Hillary Clinton Campaign.

And interestingly enough this investigation has lead to a long time colleague of Kerry's

Jonathan Winer, who served as the former envoy for Libya during his tenure at the Department

to write an opinion piece in the Washington Post on February 8 where he defends his relationship

with Steele and his role in the infamous dossier.

"The House Select Committee on Intelligence is now investigating former Secretary of State

John F. Kerry's possible role into the unverified dossier paid for by the Democratic National

Committee and Hillary Clinton Campaign, this reporter has learned.

The dossier, assembled by a former British spy, laid the foundation for the FBI's investigation

into alleged collusion between President Trump and Russia and was the essential piece of

evidence used by the FBI to get a warrant to spy on a former volunteer for the Trump

campaign.

For more than a month, the committee has been in its second phase of investigations focused

on former Obama State Department officials and their role in either transmitting information

or using information provided by former British spy and investigator Christopher Steele.

Steele was hired by embattled research firm Fusion GPS, also under several congressional

and Senate investigations.

Jonathan Winer, a long-time colleague of Kerry and who served as the former envoy for Libya

during his tenure at the Department, wrote an opinion piece in the Washington Post on

Feb. 8, defending his relationship with Steele and his role in the infamous dossier."

All this comes to light after Congressman Devin Nunes from California revealed to Fox

News host Laura Ingraham that John Kerry was in fact briefed about a "Second Dossier."

The Washington Examiner's own Byron York had previously reported that the Obama State

Department was being investigated to learn if they had a hand in the dossier and made

very clear that Steele was considered a "high-value source" when it came to "all things Russia."

To the point that the Obama administration used his intel on multiple reports to clients

in the department.

A book published in November by a correspondent at the Guardian, "Collusion: Secret meetings,

dirty money, and how Russia helped Donald Trump win," noted that Steele's 2010 work

on the World Cup soccer corruption investigation won him the trust not only of the FBI,but

the State Department as well.

The [soccer] episode burnished Steele's reputation inside the U.S. intelligence community

and the FBI.

Here was a pro, a well-connected Brit, who understood Russian espionage and its subterranean

tricks.

Steele was regarded as credible.

Between 2014 and 2016, Steele authored more than a hundred reports on Russia and Ukraine.

These were written for a private client but shared widely within the State Department

and sent up to Secretary of State John Kerry and to Assistant Secretary of State Victoria

Nuland, who was in charge of the U.S. response to the Ukraine crisis.

Many of Steele's secret sources were the same sources who would supply information

on Trump.

One former State Department envoy during the Obama administration said he read dozens of

Steele's reports on Russia.

The envoy said that on Russia, Steele was "as good as the CIA or anyone."

Steele's professional reputation inside U.S. agencies would prove important the next

time he discovered alarming material, and lit the fuse again.

That fuse, of course, was the Trump dossier.

It is hard for an outsider to discern clearly what is going on inside the dossier investigations

on Capitol Hill.

But it appears some investigators are looking beyond the 35 pages of reports done by Steele

for Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm working for the Clinton campaign and the Democratic

National Committee, that were published in January 2017 by BuzzFeed.

They're looking into whether Steele did other reports about Trump, perhaps similar

but not identical to what was in the dossier published by BuzzFeed.

And they are looking into whether those reports made their way to the State Department.

They're also seeking to learn what individual State Department officials did in relation

to Steele, and whether there were any contacts between the State Department and the FBI or

Justice Department concerning the anti-Trump material.

It's not clear whether State Department activity related to Steele's Russia project

took place in the months leading up to the 2016 election, during the transition, or both.

I don't think we have ever seen more corruption than we saw during the Barack Hussein Obama

administration.

This should teach us all a lesson that we should not elect a man based on his ability

to read a speech or the color of his skin.

For now, all we can do is sit back and wait while the investigations get to the bottom

of who did what and hope we someday see the perpetrators behind bars.
