Trump news on Youtube Jul 8 2018

The U.S. and China have both imposed hefty tariffs on each other's products... after

Washington made the first move on Friday.

Accusing the U.S. of launching the biggest trade war in history,...

Beijing also immediately filed a complaint to the WTO.

Cha Sang-mi has more.

Analysts are labeling it a "dark day" for global trade.

In the wake of the back-and-forth retaliatory tariff volley between Washington and Beijing,

the U.S. finally pulled the trigger on Friday,... imposing a 25 percent tariff on 34 billion

dollars' worth of Chinese goods.

As predicted,...

China didn't take the move lying down.

Beijing's foreign ministry immediately retaliated with equivalent duties on the same dollar

amount of American products, ranging from soybeans to pork.

And China's Commerce Ministry said it has filed a second complaint to the World Trade

Organization over Washington's move.

The measure comes after President Trump repeatedly decried the U.S. trade deficit with China,

and accused Beijing of violating U.S. intellectual property rights.

Yet this is just the first in a series of duties President Trump has vowed to slap on

China.

His administration plans to impose another round of tariffs on 16 billion dollars' worth

of Chinese goods in the next two weeks.

Amid fears of being caught in the crossfire, the European Union on Thursday backed measures

to curb steel imports... as there are concerns cheap steel could flood the European market

otherwise.

The EU's Executive Commission said Friday that (quote)"recent import statistics show

trade diversion of steel products into the EU as a result of the additional 25 percent

tariff on steel imposed by the U.S."

The commission proposed a quota and a tariff rate to limit imported steel.

Reuters reports that 25 EU member nations voted in favor of the measures but three abstained.

The bloc has also imposed its own duties on three-point-three billion dollars worth of

U.S. imports, including bourbon and motor bikes.

Chrissy Teigen Drags Donald Trump For Being A Pure 'Dipsh-t' After He Mocks #MeToo - Daily News - Duration: 2:45.

Chrissy Teigen thinks 'dipsh-t' Donald Trump's 'brain is eating itself' after his latest inappropriate comments about the #MeToo movement

The model totally owned him in this argument…    Yes, Chrissy Teigen, 32, called the President of the United States, Donald Trump, 72, a "dipsh-t

" The model hit back at Trump after he mocked the #MeToo movement during a rally in Montana on Thursday, July 5

While at the event, Trump went after Democratic senator Elizabeth Warren, when he "promised" his supporters that if he went up against her on a presidential debate, he would give her a DNA test

Trump also insulted Warren when he called her "Pocahontas."    "We will take that little kit, we have to do it gently because we're in the 'Me Too' generation

We will slowly toss it, hoping it doesn't hit her and injure her arm," the president said at the rally

Teigen, who is known for clapping back at Trump and his outlandish comments on social media, did just that

"How does this dipsh-t think 23 and me works? where does he think you swab?," she wrote on Twitter, along with a video of Trump at the rally

how does this dipshit think 23 and me works? where does he think you swab? https://t

co/eZ5f9YFMzc  — christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) July 6, 2018    In a second tweet, Teigen wrote: "And why would you have to toss it? where is he going with this? his brain is eating itself

"  Teigen and her husband, John Legend, 39, haven't been quiet about their disdain for Trump and his policies

The two, along with their newborn son, Miles Theordore, recently attended a protest against Trump's immigration policies in LA just last week

The model even stunned the large crowd when she gave a speech admitting she's "incredibly proud" to be the daughter of an immigrant

And, to the praise of many (if not the whole crowd), she even performed a hysterical impersonation of President Trump

Teigen's tweets about Trump came after she posted a video to Twitter, mocking him on the Fourth of July

"Got my decorations," she captioned a video of her blowing up beach balls with Trump's face and two middle fingers on them

— You can always count on Chrissy Teigen to serve up the laughs and most savage disses on Twitter

North Korea Makes Trump Look Like An Idiot By Backing Out Of Nuke Deal - Duration: 2:01.

The associated press reporting

the trump administration has

Regrettable and dangerous is how

North Korea's spokesman

Secretary Pompeo left Pyongyang

Geoff, let's start with this

Long time korea-watchers say

But the secretary of state went

He was there to flesh out the

At the time, you'll remember,

Kim agreed to work toward the

Nigel Farage says Trump blimp is 'insult to a sitting US president' - Duration: 28:05.

Nigel Farage has claimed anti-Trump protestors' plans to fly a blimp portraying Donald Trump as a big baby is the 'biggest insult to a sitting US president ever'

Mr Farage aimed his criticism at London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who granted permission for the 20ft inflatable to fly above Parliament Square Gardens on July 13

The former UKIP leader weighed in on the debate on Thursday, saying allowing the blimp to fly during Trump's visit was 'a step too far' and 'ridiculous'

However, some Twitter users disagreed with Mr Farage, with one remarking: 'JFK getting shot in the head is probably more insulting than a flying a balloon

'Another added: 'Obama endured an endless bombardment of racist caricatures for eight years

'One said: 'Think there have been bigger insults to sitting presidents.from peanuts to bullets

'  Four US Presidents have been assassinated while they were in office, including Abraham Lincoln in 1865, James A

Garfield in 1881, William McKinley in 1901 and John F. Kennedy in 1963.  Ronald Reagan was shot in an assassination attempt in 1981 but survived

Speaking on LBC, Mr Farage said: 'Let me ask you, does any of you seriously think that if an application to fly an Obama blimp, of Obama as a young, crying baby above Parliament Square when he came here during the referendum to tell us to vote remain, do you actually think that would have been allowed? 'You can't stop people from protesting, expressing their opinion, but I do think there's a never ending war of words, and it does cut both ways because the President invites a fair bit of it

'But this never ending war of words between Sadiq Khan and Donald Trump is frankly ridiculous

'I say to the Mayor of London, you might not like Mr Trump, you might not like his style, you might find him very confrontational

'But Sadiq, where were you when Obama introduced a total ban on refugees coming from seven predominately Muslim countries?'He went on to claim he didn't see the outrage and protests over President Obama's policy, compared to Trump's

Mr Farage added: 'To allow this blimp is a step too far.'Mr Khan and Mr Trump have engaged in a long-running war of words over issues like crime and terrorism

The row between the pair began last June when the US President accused Mr Khan of having a 'pathetic' response to the London Bridge terror attack

He tweeted: 'At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack,' the president wrote on his personal Twitter account, 'and Mayor of London says there is 'no reason to be alarmed!' Speaking about Mr Trump's visit earlier this year, Mr Khan said: 'I think there will be protests, I speak to Londoners every day of the week and I think they will use the rights they have to express their freedom of speech

'But they must be peaceful, they must be lawful.'  He added: 'As the Mayor of London it's probably inappropriate for me to join a protest when foreign leaders come into the UK

'It's important though for me not to be scared to express my views about some of the things he's said

'It's ironic that the architect of the hostile environment policy in this country has invited the architect of the hostile environment policy in the USA to London

Huge protests are expected in London for the first full day of Mr Trump's visit, which will begin next Thursday night when he flies in from the Nato summit in Brussels

His three day trip is thought likely to include a dinner with business figures at Blenheim Palace, meeting the Queen at Windsor and talks with Theresa May at her country retreat in Chequers

Mr Trump is also thought to be keen to play golf at his courses in Scotland. The programme is being designed to ensure Mr Trump avoids London and the expected angry protests

He cancelled a trip last year for fear of demonstrations. Around 50,000 people are expected to march from the BBC building in Portland Place to Trafalgar Square as part of the 'Stop Trump' protest

.The group stated: 'If we can troll Donald from the skies wherever he goes for long enough, he'll start seeing "TrumpBaby" in his dreams

'   Donald Trump UK visit: Everything you need to know  Donald Trump will finally fly into the UK for his first visit as US President next week

Mr Trump will arrive in Britain on Thursday night following a high stakes Nato summit in Brussels at which EU allies fear he could threaten the alliance

A major row over defence spending could overshadow his visit to the UK.  Once he reaches Britain, he is expected to stay for three days for a 'working' visit

The trip is not the full State Visit Theresa May offered last year but he is expected to meet the Queen

Because it is a working trip, he is covering his own costs - though Britain will spend millions on security

Why did Trump cancel his UK visit in February 2017? Theresa May first invited Trump to the UK after she visited him days after his inauguration, becoming the first foreign leader to see the new President and Scotland Yard Chief Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe let slip that Trump would be visiting in June,In February 2017, it was revealed that Trump had decided to delay the visit amid snubs from MPs and in order to avoid protests

In addition to this, the trip was again postponed because of widespread dismay of his travel ban on citizens from Muslim-majority countries

Trump was also due to come to the UK in February of this year to open the new US embassy, but a poll revealed that 4 percent of people, around two million, said they would join a protest if he was given a full state visit

Is Melania coming to the UK with Trump? It is expected that the First Lady will join her husband in the UK

Will Trump meet the Queen? Windsor Castle is set to be closed to the public on July 13, suggesting that this is when Trump will meet the Queen, but details have not been confirmed

Ambassador Woody Johnson told Sky: 'Yes, yes, I mean he has to see the head of state

'Putting his foot on British soil, it's job one, it's very important, very symbolic

Meeting Her Majesty is the most important thing, because she's the head of state, and from then on, it'll be what the president wants to do

'The Coldstream Guards, the oldest regiment in the British Army, are also rumoured to honour the Trumps on their arrival but Buckingham Palace has not confirmed the arrangements

What will Trump discuss with Theresa May?Trade tariffs are expected to be the most discussed topic during Trump's visit to the UK, especially after a call with the President left Theresa May branding his decision 'unjustified'

A statement released after this phone call said: 'The prime minister raised the US decision to apply tariff to EU steel and aluminium imports, which she said was unjustified and deeply disappointing

'The prime minister said the US, UK and EU are close national security allies and we recognise the importance of the values of open and fair trade across the world

The prime minister also underlined the need to safeguard jobs that would potentially be affected by the decision

'May and Trump are also thought to talk about the President's border policy after the Prime Minister said that the policy was 'inhumane'

May told MPs in the Commons last week that 'when we disagree with the United States, we tell them so

''But we also have key shared interests. It is right that we are able to sit down and discuss those with the president - a president of a country with which we will continue to have a long-standing special relationship

' Will Trump play golf on his UK visit?Trump may spend a couple of days at the end of his visit at one of his golf courses in Scotland or the Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeen

However, this decision has not been welcomed by the country's politicians.Scotland has told the UK government that it should foot the president's £5 million security bill if the President should choose to visit a golf course, before he travels to Helsinki to see the Russian president Vladimir Putin

Scotland's Justice Secretary Humza Yousaf wrote to UK Home Secretary Sajid Javid and said that the country does not want to settle the bill

He tweeted: 'He is coming as a guest as the UK government, they must not leave Police Scotland with a £5m bill

'When is Donald Trump's next visit to the UK? Trump's next visit has been planned for the 75th anniversary of VE Day in May 2020

Speculation also suggests that Trump will be in the UK for when Britain officially leaves the EU on March 29, 2019

Revealed - full details of Trump's UK trip: US president won't make ANY public appearances in London as he meets May at Chequers and the Queen at Windsor on visit with MelaniaDonald Trump will not make any public appearances in London when he comes to the UK next week - amid a massive security operation

The US president and First Lady Melania will touch down in Britain on Thursday for his first visit since entering the White House

Huge protests have been threatened that could see 50,000 take to the streets of the capital, while a big orange 'Baby Trump' blimp has been given permission to fly

The bill for the American leader's three-day trip is expected to be around £30million as 10,000 police officers are deployed to keep the US commander-in-chief from trouble

Trump's £1.2 million Cadillac 'The Beast' has been flown over in one of the world's largest military planes - the Super Galaxy C5

Meanwhile US Navy carrier, the gigantic USS Harry S Truman, will dock in the south coast as back up

However, fresh details of the long-awaited visit issued by Downing Street confirm that Mr Trump will spend only minimal time in London

Instead he will be feted by Mrs May at a dinner for business leaders being held on Thursday night at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, the ancestral home of his hero Winston Churchill

The next day he will have tea with the Queen at Windsor Castle and talks with the Prime Minister at her country retreat, Chequers

Mrs Trump, meanwhile, will be given her own sightseeing tour, hosted by Theresa May's husband Philip

It has also emerged that Mr Trump will spend the majority of his three-day trip in Scotland, where his mother was born and where he owns two golf courses

Many Tory MPs are delighted that Mr Trump is finally coming to the UK. There is a growing backlash against the anti-Trump protests, with more than 10,000 people signing a petition calling for a blimp of London Mayor Sadiq Khan to be flown above London next week

Asked whether the President was aware of planned protests, the US ambassador to the UK Woody Johnson said: 'I think we are all aware of these things but the President is focused on what his objectives are

'He appreciates free speech, both in this country and in our country. It is one of the things that bind us together

'This is a short trip. It is absolutely packed with things that he has to do. There is a lot of organisation and planning that went into it

'He will be spending a lot of time in central London, using that as a base. 'The President is not avoiding anything

The President is merely trying to get as impactful a trip as he can get in a 24-hour period

'  Downing Street denied the itinerary was deliberately designed to shield Mr Trump from the public

A spokesman pointed out that several other leading figures had been hosted at Chequers in the past, including US presidents Richard Nixon and George W Bush, and, last year, French President Emmanuel Macron

The spokesman said the Prime Minister was 'looking forward to making sure the president has the opportunity to experience the UK beyond London'

But the itinerary means Mr Trump will be unable to tick of some of the highlights he had indicated he wants to, including a visit to Buckingham palace and a tour of the Cabinet War Rooms

No 10 defended the right of the public to protest peacefully, but added: 'The majority of the British people understand the importance of the UK-US relationship

'Mr Trump will arrive in Europe on Wednesday where he is expected to read the riot act to European leaders about their failure to spend more on defence

When the summit finishes on Thursday he will fly straight to the UK, accompanied by a huge security operation

The US President, who has a love of ceremony, will be greeted in the stately home's Great Court by the bands of the Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards, who will play the Liberty Fanfare, Amazing Grace, and the National Emblem

During dinner, the Countess of Wessex's String Orchestra (part of the Corps of Army Music) will perform a series of classic British and American hits

He will then travel to Winfield House for the night. The mansion stands in 12 acres of grounds in Regent's Park – the second biggest garden in central London after Buckingham Palace – and will be crawling with armed security guards on the night of Mr Trump's visit

On Friday morning, President Trump and Mrs May will watch a joint military training exercise involving British and American forces before heading to Chequers for a working lunch

Talks are expected to focus on the US-EU trade war, post-Brexit trade, Nato and security co-operation

But Mrs May will also come under pressure to tackle the US President over controversial domestic policies, like the caging of immigrant children, and his inflammatory remarks about women and Muslims

Sources said they expected the talks to be 'full and frank'. Downing Street is nervous about the visit, particularly as it comes sandwiched between what looks set to be a fractious Nato summit and Mr Trump's extraordinary planned summit with Vladimir Putin in Helsinki

Relations between the two leaders have cooled dramatically since last year's love-in at the White House when Mrs May invited the new US President for a full state visit just days after he was sworn in

In a Channel 4 documentary, to be aired on Monday, a senior official at the US embassy in London talks about the strained relations that now exist

Matt Goshko, the deputy head of public affairs, said: 'It is no secret that there is some concern about the relationship between the Prime Minister and the President

'Next week's visit will lack the pomp and ceremony of a full state visit. Royal involvement will be limited to tea with the Queen on Friday afternoon at Windsor

The Trumps will then fly to Scotland where the President is expected to play a round of golf at one of his courses with a celebrity

He is also expected to meet Nicola Sturgeon. The President will fly directly from Scotland to Helsinki for his meeting with Mr Putin, which has alarmed Nato allies

Along with the mass police presence, summer breaks for key intelligence officers have been scrapped and security clearance is granted for US agents in Downing Street

The president is taking no chances as he brings in an arsenal of military hardware and his most tough and trusted staff

Trump's £1.2 million Cadillac 'The Beast' has been flown over in one of the world's largest military planes - the Super Galaxy C5

Meanwhile US Navy carrier, the gigantic USS Harry S Truman, will dock in the south coast as back up

A twin rotor Osprey V22 aircraft will be onboard along with Black Hawk helicopters in case the president needs to be extracted quickly

The $4.5billion US carrier, used recently in Syria, was designed to 'project American presence and power off any coast' according to the US navy

The nuclear-powered vessel - which weighs 97,000 tons - is almost as long as the Empire State Building at close to 1,100 feet

Below the deck hums a small city of over 5,500 people. The early staged are already underway with a week to go under the gargantuan security operation

The first of Trump's bodyguards arrived at RAF Lakenheath, a US Base in Suffolk, last week

Ahead of his visit, the president's personal Sikorsky helicopters, code-named Marine One will arrive

They are expected to be joined by two decoy craft. Britain is still on high alert for a terror attack with hundreds of people linked to terror groups being watched across the nation

A 'walk through, talk through' exercise has been carried out on all routes planned on the trip - so security officers can look for potential weaknesses and cover potential strike areas

The US will send around forty intelligence officers to work directly with the SAS

A senior security source told the Daily Mirror: 'This visit has been planned for a long time, from heavily armed police and plain clothes special forces sat in unmarked vans to a secondary high readiness force and RAF Chinook helicopters sat on the edge of the capital

'The US are pouring resources into the UK in what will be their biggest ever security operation to this country

'Trump is probably the most divisive US President to come to the UK and as such his presidency has sparked widespread spite and hatred, given his aggressive foreign policies and his touch stance domestically

'He faces multiple threats and that is why the operation to protect him is so vast

JUST IN TRUMP JUST ORDERED HIS ARREST – OBAMA IS FUMING - Duration: 13:24.

JUST IN TRUMP JUST ORDERED HIS ARREST – OBAMA IS FUMING

Liberals have been working overtime to try and save Barack Hussein Obama's DACA amnesty

program.

That's why they are all fuming right now as a DREAMer is currently at large after killing

a store owner and shooting another man in what is being called a senseless crime.

Breitbart reported that Judas Deluna, 21, is an illegal alien who is currently under

the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) amnesty program.

Last month, Deluna opened fire outside DJ's Food Mart in northwest Harris County, Texas.

Deluna got into a fight with another man and then fled to his vehicle, where he pulled

a gun and shot the man he was fighting with.

When Rahman Rupani, the store owner's son, responded to the shooting, Deluna allegedly

shot him as well.

Rupani ended up dying of his injuries.

Deluna fled the scene and has been on the run ever since.

Illegal alien activists have been trying to distance themselves from Deluna as much as

possible.

"This is not a depiction of who Dreamers are, who DACA holders are," said Cesar Espinosa,

an immigrant rights activist with FIEL Houston.

"We, like everyone else, don't want those people here.

Don't want bad actors in our community."

Deluna has a lengthy criminal history, as he received a felony conviction for a terroristic

threat made in 2015.

At the time, he was also charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and received

60 days in prison.

Months before that, prosecutors charged Deluna with a felony charge of evading arrest with

a motor vehicle.

For this, he was given four years of probation and deferred adjudication.

After Deluna was charged with Rupani's murder, prosecutors filed a motion to adjudicate this

charge.

Jeff Sessions Is DONE – After Another Betrayal of Trump, His Luck Ran Out - Duration: 14:44.

Jeff Sessions Is DONE – After Another Betrayal of Trump, His Luck Ran Out

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been a figure of controversy in the Trump administration.

Sessions has drawn the ire of Trump supporters for his weakness in the Russia investigation.

But Jeff Sessions just stepped up and defended the President in one unbelievable way.

The media – and pro-amnesty Republicans – are furious over the administration's

zero tolerance policy that all illegal aliens caught sneaking into the country will be referred

for criminal prosecution.

The administration is using this as a deterrent to illegal aliens crossing the border.

And it is the common practice in the American judicial system.

But when a parent is arrested for a crime, their children don't go to jail with them.

They are placed with a guardian.

Sessions defended this policy by quoting Scripture.

The Attorney General cited Romans 13 during a speech to law enforcement officials in Fort

Wayne, Indiana.

Sessions stated:

"I would cite you to the Apostle Paul and his clear and wise command in Romans 13, to

obey the laws of the government because God has ordained the government for his purposes.

Orderly and lawful processes are good in themselves.

Consistent and fair application of the law is in itself a good and moral thing, and that

protects the weak and protects the lawful."

The media lost their minds.

CNN's Jim Acosta berated Press Secretary Sarah Sanders about Sessions remarks.

Sanders coolly responded to his badgering by stating he doesn't understand short sentences

and that she is very well-versed in Scripture and Sessions point is valid.

Sanders ignored his verbal abuse since he wasn't called on and just wanted to engage

in deranged histrionics for the TV cameras.

The media's bias is never more apparent than when immigration becomes a national topic.

Reporters – who don't have to compete with illegal aliens for jobs – rally to

the cause of open borders and amnesty.

These privileged elites live in cities where they reap the rewards of cheap labor without

experiencing any of the consequences.

Cosmopolitan liberals also wield their support for constant flows of illegal aliens as a

way to virtue signal about their support for "diversity and tolerance."

But out in real America, it's not so cut and dry.

Big businesses encourage hordes of illegal aliens to sneak in America because they can

be paid less than actual American citizens.

And massive flows of illegal border crossings are bringing in waves of dangerous MS-13 gang

members who are colonizing in American communities and turning them into warzones.

Communities in Long Island and around Washington, DC are being terrorized by an invasion of

MS-13 gang members who commit unspeakable acts of violence.

The Trump administration policy is justifiable on every level.

America cannot throw open her doors and take in everyone who wants to come.

There needs to be a legal and orderly process for people to immigrate.

Illegal immigration is an economic attack on American citizens and a public safety threat.

And the administration is correct to enforce the laws to the fullest extent in order to

beat back this invasion.

Do you agree with the Trump administration's policy to deter illegal immigration by referring

Donald Trump Makes STUNNING ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT MUELLER - Duration: 13:24.

Donald Trump Makes STUNNING ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT MUELLER

Special counsel Robert Mueller is in a standoff with President Trump's lawyers over an interview.

Some experts believe Mueller is trying to lure the President into a perjury trap.

But Donald Trump's lawyers shocked everyone when they made an announcement about Mueller

before a meeting about spygate.

Trump turned the political world upside down when he went on the offensive after revelations

that the FBI dispatched a spy to snoop around his campaign.

This development cast the Russia investigation in a completely new light.

Now Trump and his supporters are convinced the FBI was carrying out a political vendetta

on behalf of the Obama administration during the 2016 election.

After the White House announced there would be a meeting between Congressional leaders

and FBI and Department of Justice officials to discuss spygate, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani

revealed the meeting could lead to Trump sitting for an interview with Mueller.

Politico reports:

Two highly classified briefings Thursday about an FBI informant who contacted the Trump campaign

could help grease the wheels for a highly anticipated interview between President Donald

Trump and special counsel Robert Mueller, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani told POLITICO.

"We want to see how the briefing went to today and how much we learned from it,"

Giuliani said in a Thursday phone call.

"If we learned a good deal from it, it will shorten that whole process considerably."

After the meeting ended, it did not appear that anything would derail those plans.

Politico also reports:

Attendees were briefed at both meetings by FBI Director Chris Wray, Director of National

Intelligence Dan Coats and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who oversees the Mueller

probe, as well as various FBI and DOJ staffers.

At both meetings, Kelly and Flood also gave opening remarks "to relay the President's

desire for as much openness as possible under the law," the White House said in a statement.

"They also conveyed the President's understanding of the need to protect human intelligence

services and the importance of communication between the branches of government."

Wednesday night, Giuliani gave Trump a rundown on what to expect at the gathering as part

of a 30-minute session meant to "get him up to date on what's going on" in the

Russia investigation.

The two met in New York at the Palace Hotel on the sidelines of a GOP campaign event.

"His mood was excellent.

He feels we're on offense now," Giuliani said."

Trump knows he didn't obstruct justice or collude with the Russians.

He believes that sitting for a Mueller interview will end the witch hunt against him.

Some of his supporters contend that Mueller is actively leading a coup and that the interview

is designed to catch Trump in a mistake so Mueller can recommend Congress impeach him

on perjury charges.

BREAKING TRUMP CALLS ON SESSIONS TO INVESTIGATE OBAMA - Duration: 14:44.

BREAKING TRUMP CALLS ON SESSIONS TO INVESTIGATE OBAMA

Donald Trump went rogue on Wednesday morning and called on his attorney general to investigate

Barack Hussein Obama.

President Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to pressure Attorney General Jeff

Sessions to open an investigation into the Obama administration over Russian meddling

in the 2016 election.

Trump expressed frustration that Democrats are not under investigation, as special counsel

Robert Mueller's probe into allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and

Russia heats up.

"Question: If all of the Russian meddling took place during the Obama Administration,

right up to January 20th, why aren't they the subject of the investigation?" Trump

wrote, according to The Hill.

"Why didn't Obama do something about the meddling?

Why aren't Dem crimes under investigation?

Ask Jeff Sessions!"

This comes one day after Trump took to Twitter to say that Obama and his Democrat minions

only became concerned about allegations of Russian interference into the 2016 election

after his upset victory.

Politico reported that Trump cited a quote from Obama himself as proof to back up this

assertion.

"'There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even

rig America's elections, there's no evidence that that has happened in the past or that

it will happen this time, and so I'd invite Mr. Trump to stop whining and make his case

to get votes,'" Trump wrote on Twitter, quoting comments Obama made during an October,

2016 press conference.

"The President Obama quote just before election.

That's because he thought Crooked Hillary was going to win and he didn't want to 'rock

the boat,'" Trump continued in a second post.

"When I easily won the Electoral College, the whole game changed and the Russian excuse

became the narrative of the Dems."

"I have been much tougher on Russia than Obama, just look at the facts.

Total Fake News!" Trump later added.

Trump Goes Rogue And Ask Robert Mueller to Resign - Duration: 13:24.

Trump Goes Rogue And Ask Robert Mueller to Resign

Prior to President Trump's warning to U.S.'s sanctuary cities that they must comply with

immigration officials otherwise pay the price, Attorney General Jeff Sessions supported that

same warning with a statement of his own.

"The American people know that when cities and states refuse to help enforce immigration

laws, our nation is less safe," Attorney General Sessions during a media briefing,

noting that federal officials could dry out funding to cities and counties that shelter

illegal aliens.

"Such policies cannot continue," Sessions stated.

"They make our nation less safe by putting dangerous criminals back on the street."

Sessions said that he doesn't ask much, only obedience to the law of the U.S.

"Today, I am urging states and local jurisdictions to comply with these federal laws," he added.

Jeff Sessions paid especial attention to Maryland, which is strongly determined to become a sanctuary

state.

This move comes up at the same time as the incident in the Rockville, Md.

Highschool, in which a 14-year-old has been raped by two older students, of whom at least

one is an illegal immigrant.

"I would plead with the people of Maryland to understand this makes the state of Maryland

more at risk for violence and crime, that it's not good policy," he said, calling

the policy "a mistake."

It is mandatory by the federal law that every police agency informs immigration authorities

if and when an illegal alien is taken into custody.

However, cities such as Chicago, New York City, San Francisco and others alike, constantly

fail to do this.

As we all remember, President Trump issued an executive order in January cracking down

on sanctuary cities.

"Sanctuary jurisdictions across the United States willfully violate Federal law in an

attempt to shield aliens from removal from the United States.

These jurisdictions have caused immeasurable harm to the American people and to the very

fabric of our Republic," Trump's order said.

"Tens of thousands of removable aliens have been released into communities across the

country, solely because their home countries refuse to accept their repatriation.

Many of these aliens are criminals who have served time in our Federal, State, and local

jails.

The presence of such individuals in the United States, and the practices of foreign nations

that refuse the repatriation of their nationals, are contrary to the national interest,"

the order continued.

This same executive order permitted Attorney General Sessions to "ensure that jurisdictions

that willfully refuse to comply … are not eligible to receive Federal funding, except

as proved necessary for law enforcement purposes by the Attorney General or the Secretary."

He claimed that the administration is more than ready to cut funding if it proved necessary,

and stated that communities applying for DOJ funding now must prove that they comply with

the immigration law.

PRESIDENT TRUMP CALLS FOR 'PHASE TWO' OF TAX CUTS AHEAD OF MIDTERM ELECTIONS - Duration: 12:56.

we're doing a phase 2 we'll be doing it probably in October it may be a little

sooner than that and it'll be more of a middle class we did have left for the

middle class but this will be even more aimed at the middle class one of the

things we're thinking about is bringing the 21 percent down to 20 and then for

the most part the rest of it would go right to the middle class that was

President Trump with Fox's Maria Bartiromo last weekend marking the sixth

month anniversary of the 1.5 trillion dollar tax cuts and reform passed by

Republicans last year in hinting that phase two of those cuts could be coming

ahead of this fall's midterm elections Texas congressman Kevin Brady is

chairman of the tax writing Ways and Means Committee welcome mr. chairman

good to have you back so let's take well thanks for having me let's let's deal

with the economy before we get to phase 2 of the tax cuts you had really strong

jobs report on Friday but wages aren't going up all that much more they aren't

accelerating any insight to know why yeah you know I think part of this

really when the focuses of our new tax code is stronger productivity coming

from new investments it's something that really drives wages for the long term

for the right reasons that takes some time I was encouraged by the wage growth

in the first quarter didn't expect that to continue it quite that pace and it

hasn't but what I am seeing is and we are all saying are the business

investments that are being made in technologies equipment software all the

things that drive competitiveness in stronger productivity that I think in

the long term drives those wages up and keeps them in a sustainable way not an

artificial way a sustainable way that's gonna take some time but the investment

numbers in both the volume and how fast its accelerated including those coming

back from overseas I think it's gonna drive those wage overtime okay let's

talk about phase 2 of the tax cuts you heard the president talk about 20% rate

going to that what can we expect to see in that in that phase 2 and is it is

there something you can pass before the election you know so the focus here is

going to be on making sure those middle-class tax cuts and

those small business tax cuts are made permanent that's the major feature of

2.0 but I always try to remind our viewers 2.0 is really about changing

that culture in Washington where you know they wait 30 years in between

fixing the tax code we fall behind our competitors around the world then we

junk the code up with a bunch of special interest provisions that don't

ultimately work so what we're trying to do is establish every year a Congress

that looks at our tax code and asks how can we be more competitive as a country

more innovative better and so this first year 2.0 is about the permanence for

middle-class families in our small businesses we think we can do more to

help families save earlier and in more throughout their lives that's an area

that of tax reform that we had done some work on the Senate had done some work on

we think it's time can you pass that through the house do you plan to pass

that through the house before the election you have to wait until next

year we do my understanding as leader McCarthy would like to bring this to the

floor after we return from the August break right now in July we're gonna

spend the time just as we did with tax reform with our members of the House

listening to them laying out an outline of what 2.0 would look like making sure

we've got strong consensus as we head into August as well and we're working

closely with the President on all this of course and you're willing to take

that risk and making votes for this even if the Senate made which is

unpredictable obviously may not take it up yeah so I think part of the as we

know on tax reform 1.0 you know movement creates movement so I think the house

moving forward with the very pro-growth prominence of family-friendly 2.0 gives

the Senate the chance to pick and choose sort of which those elements they want

to move and win clearly 60 votes matter in the Senate and so the leader

McConnell and others will have to assess you know what the strength of those

different provisions of 2.0 Paul I don't see one big bill I really see a package

of three or four that can be broken apart to the work both for the house and

work for the Senate as well all right now let me ask you about trade because

of course the the tariffs against China are kicking in started to kicked in

Friday China responded retaliation immediately how worried are you that

trade and these tariffs which are really border taxes are going to start to slow

the economy's momentum you know I think I am worried you know I think the

economic momentum we have from the tax cuts end from our balanced regulation

has really given us momentum we haven't had before and so the tariffs issues

aren't showing yet but I believe they will I think here in Texas for example

our local manufacturers our energy industries are starting to weigh pulling

their punches on investment and new projects I know some of our local

businesses are actually losing work to foreign competitors because of it I know

that's not what the president intends and so I think the sooner that the the

White House can get that exclusion process working because that has just

failed today to make sure fairly traded products aren't caught up I do think the

exemptions on the Europe China and Mexico need to be really restored

because I think that's creating undue pressure here in the US I think the

president needs to go straight up against China and Raleigh the rest of

the world toward those unfair trade practices so I think some good smart

adjustments could really focus this trade strategy yeah but you're talking

about exceptions to the rule here and I what what but there's a lot of anecdotal

evidence that people are starting to get hurt

what does the president say when you explain that to him you know the

president's asking for patience he believes he can win this with China that

he can rebalance the trade agenda feels like we're not we don't have a level

playing field around the world and so he is challenging those older assumptions

he wants the time to be able to let this strategy work I think there is in

Congress strong support for challenging China's unfair trade practices but there

is growing frustration that the way the exemptions and exclusions are not

working are actually an the retaliation is hurting our far

and our manufacturers in a big way and that's where we're continuing to engage

with the White House all right mr. chairman thanks very much for being here

appreciate it still ahead a solid June jobs report as you as employers US

employers keeping up a solid hiring pace in June with American businesses adding

two hundred and thirteen thousand jobs the Labor Department said Friday that

the unemployment rate rose to four percent from three point eight as more

people began looking for work and not all of them found it those Friday jobs

numbers coming on the same day that the Trump administration began imposing

tariffs on thirty four billion dollars worth of Chinese goods with Beijing

retaliating with its own tariffs on American products including soybeans and

cars we're back with Dan Henninger columnist Mariana Stasia o'grady an

assistant editorial page editor James Freeman so Mary how strong is the US

economy right now yeah I think we're in a sweet spot here you know not only the

numbers that you mentioned but wages are moving up not as much as we would like

to see them they should be getting over three percent a year but there are 2.7

which is good news and I think the other thing that's really good about this

report is that labor participation moved up a little bit I think that's still a

problem and as long as you have low wage labor participation

I'm afraid that maybe that's going to hold back growth so that's probably one

of the bigger problems big number 600,000 though people newly entering the

workforce including a lot of people who were the longtime unemployed pretty

interesting yes that is interesting going off the sidelines yeah absolutely

but we still have again labor participation sixty two point nine

percent below 63 percent and it's kind of been hanging below there really since

the 2008 financial crisis James let me ask you about trade because obviously

that's a huge issue here the tariffs with China beginning back and forth how

worried are you that this is going to affect the momentum that that Mary's

talking about in the economy yeah it's a drag I think to this point you say that

the Trump tax cuts and deregulation are more powerful so

our than the the trade impact but who knows we may be at the early stages of

this right now more a concern you see the Fed reporting that it is

discouraging some investment but overall it's it's a picture of basically

optimistic US businesses investing more and hiring more

why aren't wages jams rising faster do you think do you have any theories on

that yeah that's really been a puzzle as we've seen the employers are looking a

lot at the NFIB Small Business Survey and every month shows small businesses

just dying for workers trying to find them so you wonder why wages have not

been rising faster I think this report with the 600,000 people you mentioned

coming back into the labor force gives us part of the answer that there is

still with that low participation rate a group of people and not just retired

folk but prime age working people who have still not joined the labor market

but are starting to come back into it that's very encouraging so Mary Donald

Trump would watch a show and say you know what you guys don't get it you

don't understand all this trade stuff short-term pain maybe but look it's

gonna be long-term gain this is my negotiating strategy you gotta hit them

hard we have more leverage we'll win just wait right and how do you say that

in Chinese because that's the same thing the Chinese are responding saying the

same thing and that's what makes people uncomfortable about the potential for

this to keep being ratcheted up you know one side than the other and going back

and forth and the the the sympathy that Donald Trump gets from most of the

American public is that China does not play by the World Trade Organization

rules and I think that's a legitimate complaint but as Marty felts and the The

Economist talked about in our paper last week we can negotiate that and we should

negotiate that but the idea Donald Trump's big

obsession that he's gonna defeat the trade deficit which by the way he's he's

expanding the size of it it's not as big as what he says but that is a mistake

because the US is richer than China and it means that we are gonna buy more than

they buy from us there's going to be a trade deficit well Dan the other point I

would make is look alright you're gonna get a deal well what are we gonna get a

deal okay how about your fighting with them

you

chickens and the Canadians on after your fighting with the Europeans on

and other things now you're fighting with the Chinese how about actually we

complete one of these what yeah I mean that's from your wonder you put the

money on the table but I think you know Trump is pretty adept at playing the

politics of these situations and the Wall Street Journal for instance had a

map at the end of the week on how the Chinese are very precisely targeting

their tariffs at counties that were carried by Donald Trump through the

Midwest and through the South farmers alona and exempting the counties that

voted for Hillary Clinton it's very obvious what the Chinese are doing make

the Trump voters hurt I think that could backfire if Trump has the opportunity to

say the Chinese are punishing you and exempting Hillary's voters why shouldn't

we fight back against the Chinese and I wouldn't doubt that some of his

supporters despite getting hurt will continue to support him James briefly

Scott Pruitt's resignation at the Environmental Protection Agency how big

a problem could that be for the president's deregulatory agenda

potentially it could be a good one because this is really in a big part of

what is given companies especially in the manufacturing and the energy sectors

the confidence to move forward and to make investments it's been very

encouraging whether you're talking about returning to science

returning to cost-benefit analysis

President Trump Is About To Destroy Robert Mueller's Career - Duration: 13:38.

President Trump Is About To Destroy Robert Mueller's Career

As special counsel, Robert Mueller has taken the frivolous Russia investigation as his

crusade to take down Donald Trump.

Mueller has become a hero to Democrats who are trying to take down the President.

But with one new development, Trump is about to destroy Robert Mueller's career.

Robert Mueller has been trying to go after President Trump in any way he can.

But so far, Trump has refused to interview directly with him.

That could quickly change.

President Trump is currently speaking with his lawyers and is gaming out possible questions

that could come from Mueller.

As someone who refuses to play by the usual presidential playbook, Trump needs to be careful

talking to Mueller, who will be carefully attempting to outsmart the President.

But with his lawyers on his side, and with the tact that the President has, any investigation

will likely prove nothing more than the fact there was no collusion with Russia, and that

Mueller is nothing more than a weapon of the Democrats.

The job of President Trump's lawyer is to ensure the President is ready for the meeting.

While they have advised against having a meeting with Mueller in the past, Trump is expected

to meet with him anyway.

As reported by Politico:

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP'S LAWYERS ARE GAMING OUT POSSIBLE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR A POTENTIAL

INTERVIEW WITH SPECIAL COUNSEL ROBERT MUELLER, ACCORDING TO TWO PEOPLE FAMILIAR WITH THE

STRATEGY.

THE PREPARATIONS REFLECT AN UNDERSTANDING THAT NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE LEAD RUSSIA INVESTIGATOR,

WHICH HAVE BEEN ONGOING SINCE JANUARY, WILL EVENTUALLY CULMINATE IN A SIT-DOWN MEETING

BETWEEN MUELLER AND THE PRESIDENT.

ONE SOURCE SAID THE DISCUSSIONS ABOUT THE TERMS OF A POSSIBLE INTERVIEW MAY SOON EVEN

REACH A CONCLUSION.

"I DON'T THINK IT'S MONTHS AND MONTHS OUT.

I DON'T THINK IT'S IN A WEEK," SAID THE PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE NEGOTIATIONS.

"BUT I THINK IT'S MOVING TOWARD CLOSURE."

BUT EVEN GIVEN THE HIGH STAKES OF A POTENTIAL MEETING WITH MUELLER, TRUMP'S LAWYERS FACE

A CHALLENGE IN PREPPING A PRESIDENT WHO RESISTS FOLLOWING SCRIPTS AND WHO HAS DEEP TRUST IN

HIS OWN IMPROVISATIONAL INSTINCTS.

TRUMP HAS SAID HE IS EAGER TO MEET WITH MUELLER.

"I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO IT, ACTUALLY," HE TOLD REPORTERS IN THE WHITE HOUSE ON JAN.

24, ADDING THAT HIS LAWYERS HAD INFORMED HIM THE INTERVIEW COULD HAPPEN IN "ABOUT TWO

TO THREE WEEKS."

BUT HIS ATTORNEYS QUICKLY RATCHETED BACK HIS REMARKS, SAYING HE WAS "SPEAKING HURRIEDLY"

BEFORE DEPARTING FOR A EUROPEAN TRIP, AND THEY HAVE SINCE ADDRESSED THE SUBJECT CAUTIOUSLY."

When President Trump is to meet with Robert Mueller, the President is going to have a

great opportunity to directly confront the man that has been propagating the theory he

colluded with Russia during the 2016 investigation.

Democrats have been citing Mueller as their hope to impeach the President.

A meeting between the two of them will either destroy their hopes or create more Russia

collusion speculation.

It all depends on how President Trump handles the meeting.

Do you think that President Trump should interview with Robert Mueller?

You Can Thank Donald Trump And Paul Ryan For The Coming Recession - Duration: 4:18.

It's always fun to hear Donald Trump talk about, or even Tweet about, the fact that

the United States economy is doing better than ever.

And sure, we're actually in the middle of one of the longest recovery periods that we've

ever had for the US economy, at least in modern history.

And 99% of that is due to the policies of Barack Obama.

He is the one who put us on this track and so far we're still on it at the moment.

But over half of economists recently surveyed in a major economic poll said that everything

is about to come crashing down.

Within the next 18 months we can certainly expect a recession, according to the majority

of economists in the United States.

And an even greater majority of those economists, they don't say that it's going to happen by

the end of next year, they say it'll happen probably by the middle of 2020.

So at best, what are we looking at here?

24 months before a massive recession, even though things look like they're going phenomenal

right now?

So the big question is, what's going to happen?

Why are things suddenly going to go down?

Well as a recent USA Today article pointed out, every time the economy is in a recovery

period and you get towards the end of that recovery where things look like they're sustainable,

that's when it's actually the most susceptible to outside forces destroying it.

It happened, as they point out, in 1990-1991 with rising oil prices.

It happened in 2001 with the dot.com bubble bursting and it happened in 2007 with the

housing bubble bursting.

And they're also all predicting another bubble bursting in the next 12 months at least.

Here are the bubbles that they are predicting are about to burst.

First and foremost, the Fed is about to raise interest rates.

They do that in order to help kind of slow down recovery.

I know it seems counter-productive, but that's what they do.

It keeps confidence high, it slows things down to keep the progression going instead

of going too fast and crashing.

However, it usually has the effect of helping to send us into a recession.

Second thing they point at are the trade wars that Donald Trump has started.

We've already lost more than a thousand jobs in the last month and a half because of his

trade wars, and that number is going to continue climbing.

Companies are shipping production overseas, where other businesses are threatening to

have to shut down because they can't afford to operate anymore.

And with countries like Canada and China and the EU imposing new sanctions, or tariffs,

excuse me, on us within the last week, things are about to get much, much worse.

We also have rising energy prices today, just like we did in 1990-91 and there's no real

explanation for it.

Oil production is at an all time high, and yet prices continue to go up thereby not only

blowing up the economy, but also blowing up a pretty decent Republican talking point that

they've been hammering on us for years.

The bottom line is this: economists agree this economy is about to come crashing down.

Why?

Because we built our economy on unsustainable things.

They also point to the fact that the deficit is rising at an exponential rate and that

Republican tax cuts have done nothing to help average consumers.

And now they want to give them another tax cut for the corporations while giving nothing

to consumers.

Things are going to come crashing down, there is no doubt about that among economists.

And when they do, I want everybody to remember one thing.

It's because, 100%, of the policies put in place by Donald Trump and Paul Ryan.

The only benefit that Paul Ryan has is that he won't be in office anymore when everything

comes crashing down.

But that doesn't mean that he doesn't deserve your thanks for destroying the US economy

by rigging it so that it only works for the wealthy and continues to screw over consumers.

Whether he's in office or not by the time this recession hits, Paul Ryan and Donald

Trump are the ones to blame for what's about to happen.
