representative Mike Conaway Mike thank you Mike

representative Dan Newhouse thank you Dan representative Christie norm have to

call her governor now that was a great win Thank You Christy representative

David Reichert David thank you so we had a big day very big we met

right here at the White House to launch a new phase in the relationship between

the United States and the European Union a phase of close friendship of strong

trade relations in which both of us will win of working better together for

global security and prosperity and a fighting jointly against terrorism the

United States and the European Union together count for more than 830 million

citizens and more than 50% of the global GDP in other words together were more

than 50% of trade if we team up we can make our planet a better more secure and

more prosperous place already today the United States and the European Union

have a 1 trillion dollar bilateral trade relationship the largest economic

relationship anywhere in the world we want to further strengthen this trade

relationship to the benefit of all American and European citizens this is

why we agreed today first of all to work together toward zero tariffs zero

non-tariff barriers and zero subsidies on non auto industrial goods thank you

thank you

thank you we will also work to reduce barriers and increase trade and services

chemicals pharmaceuticals medical products as well as soybeans soybeans is

a big deal and the European Union is going to start almost immediately to buy

a lot of soybeans they're a tremendous market buy a lot of soybeans from our

farmers in the Midwest primarily so I thank you for that gent Lord this will

open markets for farmers and workers increase investment and lead to greater

prosperity in both the United States and the European Union it will also make

trade fairer and more reciprocal my favorite word reciprocal secondly we

agreed to a strengthened and strengthening of our strategic

cooperation with respect to energy the European Union wants to import more

liquefied natural gas LNG from the United States and they're going to be a

very very big buyer we're going to make it much easier for them but they're

going to be a massive buyer of LNG so they'll be able to diversify their

energy supply which they want very much to do and we have plenty of it

thirdly we agreed today to launch a closed dialogue on standards in order to

ease trade reduce bureaucratic obstacles and slash costs dramatically fourthly we

agreed to join forces to protect American and European companies from

better and really better than ever we've we've never done like we're doing I can

say from the standpoint of the United States we've never done this well but

we're going to do a lot better after we do this deal and other deals that we're

currently working on likewise the European Union is going to do a better

stronger bigger we will therefore work closely together with like-minded

partners to reform the ut-oh and to address unfair trading

practices including intellectual property theft forced technology

transfer industrial subsidies distortions created by state-owned

enterprises and over capacity we decided to set up immediately an executive

working group of very intelligent people on both sides there we our closest

advisers and they're going to carry out this joint agenda in addition it will

identify short-term measures to facilitate commercial exchanges and

assess existing tariff measures and what we can do about that

to the betterment of both while we are working on this we will not go against

the spirit of this agreement unless either party terminates the negotiation

so we're starting the negotiation right now but we know very much where it's

going we also will resolve the steel and aluminum tariff issues and we will

resolve retaliatory tariffs we have some tariffs that are retaliatory and that

will get resolved as part of what we're doing and with that jean-claude please

mr. president ladies and gentlemen when I was invited but President to the White

House I had one intention I had the intention

to make a deal today and we made a deal today we have identified a number of

areas on which to work together work towards zero terrorists on

industrial goods that was my main intention to propose to come down to

zero tariffs on industrial goods we've decided to strengthen our

cooperation on energy new will build more terminals to import liquefied

natural gas from the US this is also a message for others we agreed to

establish a dialogue on standards as far as agriculture is concerned the European

Union can import more soybeans from the US and it will be done and we also

agreed to work together on the reform of dw/bi this of course is on the

understanding that as long as we are negotiating unless one party would stop

the negotiations we hold off further tariffs and Greece has existing tariffs

on steel and aluminium this was a good a constructive meeting Thank You Donald

well thank you very much sir general and

I just want to conclude by saying this was a very big day for free and fair

trade very big day indeed thank you very much everybody

thank you thank you this is a dramatic

Trump and top European leader agree to work toward zero tariffs - Duration: 1:50.

President Donald Trump has been threatening to slap duties on auto imports, invoking a

strong response from the European Union.

And now, it seems that's water under the bridge, with the leaders of the U.S. and the EU agreed

to work toward 'zero tariff' deal.

Are they pulling back from the brink of a trade war?

Won Jung-hwan zooms in on the welcome turnaround.

U.S. President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he and European Commission President

Jean-Claude Juncker have agreed to work toward eliminating tariffs and barriers on trade,…

reducing trade tensions for now.

"We agreed today, first of all, to work together toward zero tariffs, zero non-tariff barriers

and zero subsidies on non-auto industrial goods,"

While declaring it as a 'very big day for free and fair trade',… Trump said the EU

agreed to import more U.S. soybeans and liquefied natural gas.

The U.S. and the EU had been on course for a full-on trade war after Trump announced

earlier this year tough new levies on steel and aluminum exports,... and recently threatening

a 25-percent tariff on European autos, with the EU reciprocating with tariffs against

U.S. goods.

But some of those issues seemed to be resolved during Wednesday's meeting.

"We also will resolve the steel and aluminum tariff issues and we will resolve retaliatory

tariffs.

We have some tariffs that are retaliatory, and that will get resolved what we're doing."

As both sides agreed to hold off on other tariffs for the time being,… the meeting

between Trump and Juncker could be the start of a better trade relationship between Europe

and the United States.

Won Jung-hwan, Arirang News.

Trump administration hopes to achieve North Korea's denuclearization by the end - Duration: 2:10.

America's top diplomat has revealed President Trump's goal on North Korea... by saying that

the U.S. plans to denuclearize the regime by the end of Trump's first term.

Lee Ji-won has more.

The U.S. had been careful to avoid mentioning a specific timeline for North Korea's denuclearization,

but U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has reiterated the Trump administration's previous

hopes of achieving the regime's complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization

by the end of President Donald Trump's current term in office, which runs until January 2021,

and hopes to reach that goal "more quickly if possible."

State Secretary Pompeo made such comments at his briefing to the U.S. Senate Foreign

Relations Committee on North Korea on Wednesday.

Pompeo said that although there is a long way to go, there has been progress and Washington

plans to be patient.

"We're engaged in patient diplomacy but we will not let this drag out to no end.

I emphasize this position in the productive discussions I had with Vice Chairman Kim Yong

Chol.

President Trump remains upbeat about the prospects for North Korean denuclearization."

But despite the "productive" discussions and continued efforts to engage in talks with

the North, Pompeo confirmed that the regime continues to make material for nuclear weapons.

"I am just trying to make sure I don't cross into classified information...

I'm not trying to hesitate.

Yes, they continue to produce fissile material."

When asked about whether North Korea was continuing to pursue submarine-launched ballistic missiles

or whether its nuclear program is still advancing, Pompeo declined to answer, saying that public

statements on the issue would not help "a complex negotiation with a difficult adversary."

At the hearing, Pompeo also reiterated the importance of North Korea's declaration of

its nuclear capabilities, which is one of the key demands from Washington.

He said that an initial declaration is vital for the U.S. to verify North Korea's full

denuclearization.

White House Press Briefing with Sarah Sanders on Trump Iran, Russia, NK 2018 - Duration: 15:20.

good afternoon in the two weeks since President Trump nominated judge

Cavanaugh he has met with 23 senators unfortunately all of them are

Republicans that's because Senator Schumer is

encouraging his members to not even meet with the judge four members of the

opposing party to demand answers to questions and yet refuse to even meet

with a qualified Supreme Court nominee is unprecedented

Senator Schumer should stop these political games and meet with judge

Kavanagh we welcome Senate Democrats who take

their constitutional duty of advise and consent seriously Judge Cavanaugh stands

ready to meet with members of both parties as you know here in a few

minutes the president will be participating in an event and we're

excited to hold the 2018 made in America products showcase here at the White

House the president is committed to policies that ensure more products are

made in America today we will see items like snowboards made by never summer

industries in Colorado campers made by the new more corporation in Indiana an

f-150 truck made by the Ford Motor Company in Michigan and baseball bats

made by bwp bats in Pennsylvania and a personal favorite Ranger Boats from

flippin Arkansas is also here the president celebrates every state's

effort and commitment to american-made products and he is honored to have these

companies here today and we look forward to having you all join us at that event

here shortly and with that we'll hurry and jump into

questions Kevin thanks is the president considering the Republican House Intel

request to declassify key sections of the records with respect to that finds

the document release and will he do that declassification before the house goes

into recess after the president wants to has purposefully remain uninvolved in

this process he said repeatedly that he wants the

apartment of Justice to be fully transparent with these requests from

Congress and he's going to continue at this point to remain uninvolved however

he sees more and more every single day that this is proving

further and further to be a total witch hunt particularly because it was based

on a false and unverified and discredited dossier Steve I wish all the

presents sweet on Iran last night what prompted him to use a strong language on

them the president's been I think pretty strong since day one in his language

towards Iran he was responding to comments made from them and he's going

to continue to focus on the safety and security of American people I'm not

gonna get into specifics and certainly not negotiate with the press that would

be a determination that the president would make on what that looks like but

the ultimate goal and the focus of the president is making sure that we keep

nuclear weapon weapons out of their hands and that we focus on the

protection of Americans there the president tweeted yesterday that

Russia's election interference was all a big hoax those are the words he used the

last week he city had full faith in the US intelligence agencies so does he

believe the interference with the big hoax or does he have faith in the

intelligence agencies that have concluded definitively the other way

that Russia did in fact as the president has said many times and stated it over

and over again as I as an a number of other administration officials we

maintain that Russia interfere in the elections the president however very

much so and has repeatedly as again have the rest of us that his campaign

colluding in that process is a total hoax and we still hold that overall that

it was a hoax the president is referencing the collusion component once

again the president has faith in the intelligence that suggests and

maintained that Russia was involved in the elections however it's also

important that that same information concludes that it had no impact on the

election and that the president again would like to repeat that there was no

collusion sort of pulling on that question

very forcefully spoken out against the Ryans very forcefully spoken out against

North Korea he has said that he will force me speak out against any threat

the United States Russian election interference is a threat to our

democracy why will he not forcefully denounce that the president has been

incredibly tough on Russia he's brought it up directly to him in person every

single time that they have met he has put unprecedented sanctions and been

extremely tough on Russia across a number of fronts which we've addressed

here many times before frankly I'm not sure why that is so hard for the media

to write about we've repeated it time and time again the policy that the

president has been since day one in office has been extremely tough on

Russia probably more so than with any other country Thank You Sara Senator

Rand Paul today made his strong attempt to vitiate the credibility of former CIA

director John Brennan saying that he's and I quote monetizing his security

clearance and that it should be removed from him even call on the President to

do this will the president consider senator Paul's suggestion and call for

the removal former director Brennan security

clearance not only is the president looking to take away

Brennan's security clearance he's also looking into the clearances of Comey

clapper Hayden rice and McCabe the president is exploring the mechanisms to

remove security clearance because they've politicized and in some cases

monetize their public service and security clearances making baseless

accusations of improper contact with Russia or being influenced by Russia

against the president is extremely inappropriate and the fact that people

with security clearances are making these baseless charges provides

inappropriate legitimacy to accusations with zero evidence first when the

president pulled out of the jcpoa he did not reveal an alternate plan to address

Iran's nuclear ambitions he seemed to Bank on economic sanctions being enough

to get them back to the table is that still his plan B look as we have said

the president's number-one goal is to make sure Iran doesn't get a nuclear

weapon we have similar and shared interests with our European allies we're

continuing to have discussions with them and when we have specifics on that front

my question was a follow-up but my question about Russia is that you know

President Trump continues to air his grievances about the coverage of his

meeting with budgets you guys continue to excessively cover it but we can't

really because it's been seven days we have not received a readout we have not

received any specific details about agreements that were reached whether

formally or verbally so when can we expect that and by the way the only

agreement that was made was that the two national security teams from both the

United States and Russia would continue at a working-level these discussions I

can tell you that ambassador Bolton plans to have a meeting a follow-up with

his counterpart from Russia next month in addition to meetings with other

European allies to further those discussions and we'll keep you posted

when we have specific details with what that video

Sara so with this mr. Trump plan I'm ordering to move any carriers or

additional military resources to the region should Iran continue to pose the

threat that he alluded to in this tweet and I also have a fault I don't have any

specific announcements let's just follow up then secretary a secretary of state

Pompeo yesterday I talked a lot about corruption and human rights abuses in

Iran why is he zeroing in why the

administration zeroing in on Iran when a number of other states are guilty of the

same transgressions including Russia which we are now warming up today again

we've had tough conversations with Russia we've been tough on them with our

policy as I stated this morning we can be tough on more than one country at a

time and that's exactly what we're doing thanks Sarah could you explain a little

bit of the threshold that the president has for taking away former officials

security clearance is it his position then that any former Obama

administration official who holds clearance and just make political

statements about him should have their clearance revoked or is it just limited

to the names right now that you that you read as right now we are exploring the

mechanism on those specific names I'll keep you posted thanks a lot Sarah the

language the president used in the tweet that he sent out last night was very

similar to the language he used last August in New Jersey when he spoke with

fire and fury being rained down on North Korea and of course that led to a

one-on-one meeting the president ultimately had with Kim Java

is the president open to diplomacy with Iran meeting perhaps one-on-one with

President rouhani I'm not gonna gonna go she ate what the specifics that the

President or the administration would be looking at again our goal is to stop

Iran from nuclear weapons and we'll keep you posted as we move through that

process Congress we have regarding of judge Kavanaugh I think he made at the

very top there's a one a Republican senator who says he's undecided well

there's a few that say there's undecided but Rand Paul in particular says it says

I'm honestly undecided I'm very concerned about his position of privacy

and the Fourth Amendment are you concerned about using Rand Paul once

this for judge we're certainly hopeful that Senator Paul will do the right

thing and vote for this very highly qualified nominee yes Sarah

flipping around John's question about Iran considering the comments that we've

heard in the past day from the president's tweet ambassador Bolton's

statement which you put out in secretary Pompeo speech last night what is

stopping this administration from just openly advocating regime change in Iran

again our focus is on stopping Iran from having nuclear weapons regardless of who

is there that's what our priority is and if we have any further announcements on

that front I'll let you know but the president his administration are going

to continue pushing and advocating one of the stories that joke on front

how did the president feel when he found out that his longtime lawyer and fixer

had reported him surreptitiously while the president maintains that he's done

nothing wrong on this specific topic I'd refer you to the president's outside

counsel and still deny that he ever had a relationship with a woman named Karen

McDougal once again the president maintains that

he's done nothing wrong and I would refer you to Rudy Giuliani for all

questions on that matter I just learned to follow up first on this statement he

made about Brennan his security clearance

are you considering any additional actions against Brennan and the other

names you read off in addition to revoking their security clearance is

there any other action under review not that I'm aware of to go back real quick

to the Russia investigation so the fights application on Carter page states

that he is a Russian agent involved in clandestine activities given that the

president continues to say there was no collusion between his campaign and

Russia is he concerned or does he not believe the intelligence community's

assessment that Carter page was a Russian agent again I think that we've

spoken extensively what our position is on this and we have no changes to that

the president is threatening to punish Brennan and Comey and clapper for saying

things about him that he doesn't like the president is exploring these

mechanisms to resume remove security clearance because they politicized and

in some cases actually monetized their public service and their security

cleanse clearances and making baseless accusations of improper contact with

Russia or being influenced by Russia against

the president is extremely inappropriate the president contends to the fact that

people with security clearances are making these baseless charges provides

inappropriate legitimacy to accusations with zero evidence so we have further

updates on that front I'll certainly doesn't like and he wants to punish them

for no I think you are creating your own story there the president doesn't like

the fact that people are politicizing agencies and departments that are

specifically meant to not be political and not meant to be monetized

book security clearances several question after which to follow up on

that isn't the president doing exactly what you just said the president doesn't

want all these people doing politicizing matters of national security by going

after his political enemies no the president's not making baseless

accusations of improper contact with a foreign government and accusing the

President of the United States of treasonous activity when you have the

highest level of security clearance when you're the person that holds the

nation's deepest most sacred secrets at your hands and you go out and you make

false accusations against the President of the United States he thinks that is a

something to be very concerned with and we're exploring what those options are

and what that looks like okay message you sorry I gotta keep moving message

sorry I got about two more questions left Caitlin go ahead but son its

message to plum at Fort there's not that I'm more of Caitlin go ahead when is the

president going to make this decision on those security clearances I said when we

have an update we will let you know so my question that was just fun with that

my question has the president since unit answer if he's briefed since they

haven't briefed reporters on what went down during the two hour meeting to

actually have a conference the president's tone the number of

interviews we've actually put out quite a bit of information following that

meeting so I've seen is not about them in the press but has the president

briefed his national security adviser his Secretary of State the Director of

National Intelligence and the defense secretary on what exactly was said

between him and President Putin the president has met and spoken with all of

those individuals since his meeting with President Putin today relying solely on

his own memory to tell them what happened during that two hour meeting

the president has met and consulted with all of his national security team and we

feel very confident and remembers it happened it's night when I'm not going

to go into the specific details on how the president interacts every single

time with his national security team but it's a sit-down with the Russian

president actually about a rarity it's a normal practice for two world leaders to

be able to have a conversation with one another David go ahead

but what about President Obama and Vice President Biden of theirs and their

security clearances Al Andalus as well I'm not aware of any plans for that at

this point thanks so much guys we'll stop myself

you

There was news that Vladimir

So whose decision was this?

It's breaking news, we just got

It's in the voice of John

Bolton was the emissary on the

Now we know it will be delayed.

When and will it happen next

We don't know.

It certainly is a measure of the

president, the white house

thinks they are paying for the

Helsinki and to some degree what

Vladimir Putin may be thinking

Of course, they have their

I'm confidence you've had

>> I've aid number of

I was also present when he and

I also had the chance to speak

BREAKING! Trump Just Tracked Him Down Personally And Deported Him!

Obama Is Furious!

If there's one legacy that Obama had, it was looking out for everyone other than Americans.

He looked out for Mexicans and Middle Easterners, he looked out for the UN and just about anyone

and everyone other than Americans.

The logic seemed to be that since we have so much, everyone else deserves a piece of

our pie.

The sob stories are always plentiful when liberals are trying to make Americans feel

like scum, but the truth remains, that there have to be laws, otherwise it's anarchy.

There were few groups that Obama looked out for more than the illegal immigrant.

Maybe it's because of his own questionable status, or maybe he felt the pressing need

that all Democrats feel to import their voters, but Obama made more allowances for law breakers

than just about anyone in history.

Sadly for them, that gravy train stopped when President Trump took over and started looking

out for Americans first.

This has disturbed many a liberal, especially when the money to sanctuary cities dried up,

and the deportations began.

The Springfield News Leader recently reported on the story of a Michigan illegal alien who

was deported, despite his effectively avoiding deportation and living here illegally for

30 years.

During that time he put down roots and built a life here.

Now, apparently, we are monsters for enforcing the law and deporting him:

"After 30 years of living in the U.S, Garcia, a 39-year-old Lincoln Park landscaper, was

deported on the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday from metro Detroit to Mexico, a move

supporters say was another example of immigrants being unfairly targeted under the Trump administration.

Jorge Garcia was brought to the U.S. by an undocumented family member when he was 10

years old.

Today he has a wife and two children, all of whom are U.S. citizens."

This is meant to be a very sad story.

Garcia is being trotted out as an example of the type of people who come to the United

States and do well, just like American citizens.

Here's the problem with that; they're criminals.

Now, you're probably thinking that most of us are criminals to some degree or another.

We've all done things like speed or maybe something worse that we had to pay for.

The difference between most of us and Garcia is that as Americans we're entitled to forgiveness

and even rehabilitation, as the government sees fit when we commit a crime.

No citizenship, no forgiveness.

"Garcia had been facing an order of removal from immigration courts since 2009, but under

the previous administration, he had been given stays of removal.

But because of the Trump administration's immigration crackdown, Garcia was ordered

in November to return to Mexico.

His supporters say he has no criminal record — not even a traffic ticket — and pays

taxes every year.

Nevertheless, Garcia had to be removed, said Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

On Monday morning, accompanied by ICE agents at Detroit Metro Airport, Garcia went through

security as supporters around him held up signs that read, "Stop Separating Families."

"We love you, Jorge," said Mayra Valle of Detroit as Garcia hugged his wife and children.

"They're a good family, they're hardworking.

… This is so sad.

This is outrageous.

We never expected this would happen."

Garcia's case is the latest example of immigrants who previously would have been allowed to

remain in the U.S., but not now as the U.S. seeks to remove more immigrants.

Garcia is too old to qualify for DACA, which allows the children of undocumented immigrants

to legally work and study in the U.S.

Garcia said he had asked ICE if they could wait until new DACA legislation is passed,

which might expand the age range for immigrants to qualify.

But, he said, they refused and said he had to leave by Jan. 15.

"How do you do this on Martin Luther King Jr.

Day?" said Erik Shelley, a leader with Michigan United, which advocates for immigrant rights

and other issues.

"It's another example of the tone-deafness of this administration.

… If Jorge isn't safe, no one is safe."

Shelley said he's concerned that minority immigrants are increasingly being targeted,

citing remarks Trump has made about African and Hispanic immigrants.

Shelley was joined at the airport by other immigrant advocates and an official with the

UAW, which has been supportive of Garcia.

A spokesman for ICE told the Free Press on Monday that he could not immediately comment

since it was a federal holiday, and their offices are closed."

Is Garcia's story sad?

Yeah, kinda.

But it's sad because of the results of choices that he and his family made.

Someone brought him here when he was a child, and he chose to stay as an adult.

Then his wife chose to marry him, presumably knowing his status, and they chose to have

children here.

None of that is the fault of the American taxpayer, but we're the ones being made

to feel like monsters if we support only legal immigration.

Let's face it, if you've got two lines of people wanting citizenship, and only a

limited number can be accepted (because sadly, that's the case) you'd choose the line

of people who haven't proven themselves to be lawbreakers.

It's just common sense, something Obama never seemed to be a fan of.
