Trump news on Youtube Jul 7 2018

The U.S. and China have both imposed hefty tariffs on each other's products... after

Washington made the first move on Friday.

Accusing the U.S. of launching the biggest trade war in history,...

Beijing also immediately filed a complaint to the WTO.

Cha Sang-mi has more.

Analysts are labeling it a "dark day" for global trade.

In the wake of the back-and-forth retaliatory tariff volley between Washington and Beijing,

the U.S. finally pulled the trigger on Friday,... imposing a 25 percent tariff on 34 billion

dollars' worth of Chinese goods.

As predicted,...

China didn't take the move lying down.

Beijing's foreign ministry immediately retaliated with equivalent duties on the same dollar

amount of American products, ranging from soybeans to pork.

And China's Commerce Ministry said it has filed a second complaint to the World Trade

Organization over Washington's move.

The measure comes after President Trump repeatedly decried the U.S. trade deficit with China,

and accused Beijing of violating U.S. intellectual property rights.

Yet this is just the first in a series of duties President Trump has vowed to slap on

China.

His administration plans to impose another round of tariffs on 16 billion dollars' worth

of Chinese goods in the next two weeks.

Amid fears of being caught in the crossfire, the European Union on Thursday backed measures

to curb steel imports... as there are concerns cheap steel could flood the European market

otherwise.

The EU's Executive Commission said Friday that (quote)"recent import statistics show

trade diversion of steel products into the EU as a result of the additional 25 percent

tariff on steel imposed by the U.S."

The commission proposed a quota and a tariff rate to limit imported steel.

Reuters reports that 25 EU member nations voted in favor of the measures but three abstained.

The bloc has also imposed its own duties on three-point-three billion dollars worth of

U.S. imports, including bourbon and motor bikes.

DOJ Charged Over 200 Trump Protesters With Felonies. They Got One Felony Guilty Plea. - Duration: 3:17.

NurPhoto via Getty Images  WASHINGTON ― Justice Department prosecutors on Friday dropped pending felony charges against 38 remaining protesters arrested the day of President Donald Trump's inauguration

After initially charging more than 200 people with felonies, prosecutors secured a single guilty plea to a felony charge

An additional 20 individuals pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor.  "Obviously it's a huge relief to have these charges dropped after an 18-month nightmare," said Michael A

Webermann, one of the defendants who had his charges dropped Friday. "However, it's hard not to feel cynical about the enormous amount of power that prosecutors have to overcharge people, disrupt their lives, and then drop cases before having to face any consequences in court

"  In a statement, the U.S. Attorney's Office said they were dismissing charges against the remaining 38 defendants in "light of results in the cases brought to trial

"  Here's the full statement:  The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia believes that the evidence shows that a riot occurred on January 20, 2017, during which more than $100,000 in damage was caused to numerous public and private properties

The destruction that occurred during these criminal acts was in sharp contrast to the peaceful demonstrations and gatherings that took place over the Inauguration weekend in the District of Columbia, and created a danger for all who were nearby

Indeed, 21 people have pled guilty to charges for their conduct that day, including one to felony offenses

In light of the results in the cases brought to trial, however, the U.S. Attorney's Office has now moved to dismiss charges against the 38 remaining defendants in this matter

Donald Trump Asked The One Question That Left James Comey Speechless - Duration: 12:16.

Donald Trump Asked The One Question That Left James Comey Speechless

The Deep State is on the ropes.

Bombshell reports about the FBI implanting a spy in the Trump campaign have rocked Washington.

And now Donald Trump is asking the one question that left James Comey and his cabal of conspirators

speechless.

FBI apologists such as former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper claim

the FBI running active measures against the Trump campaign was done for Trump's own

good.

The FBI's defenders in the media claim the use of national security letters, wiretaps,

and covert spies was done to root out Russian infiltration in the campaign and to protect

the President.

But this cover up fell apart when Trump asked one simple question: If the FBI was worried

about the Russians infiltrating my campaign through Paul Manafort or others, why not just

tell me?

Trump tweeted that he never would have hired Manafort in the first place if the FBI delivered

a defensive briefing to him.

James Comey has yet to answer this devastating question.

But critics of Comey believe they know the answer.

Comey – and the upper levels of the FBI and the Obama administration – hated Trump.

So rather than proactively work to nip any Russian infiltration in the bud, they sat

back and instead spied on the Trump campaign.

The FBI did not want to stop any alleged Russian meddling in the election.

Comey's goal was to catch Trump associates in the act.

Critics of the FBI contend that this is why the Obama administration had a muted response

to what they saw as Russia interference in the election.

The FBI refused to examine the DNC servers to verify if they were actually hacked by

the Russians.

To this day, there is no independently verifiable evidence that corroborates the Democrats claim

that the Russians hacked into their servers and stole the emails that eventually ended

up on WikiLeaks.

The FBI and the Obama administration accepted this self-serving story instead of investigating

it properly because the hope was that their spy rings could deliver evidence the Trump

campaign was involved.

This whole investigation was a set up from the beginning.

And now James Comey has a lot to answer for.

If there actually was Russian hacking or interference in the election, Comey and the Obama administration

will have to explain why they allowed Moscow to execute the most high profile and successful

intelligence operation in American history.

Comey will also have to provide an account for why the FBI just didn't tell Trump the

Bureau suspected a few of his underlings to be in league with Moscow.

Trump supporters also have one other question for Comey and the FBI.

If during the campaign, the FBI used national security letters, wiretaps, and human spies

to uncover any evidence of collusion and found nothing, why was this investigation allowed

to continue?

Was it just a fishing expedition?

The Bureau sued every tool in the surveillance state tool kit and still came up empty on

the question of whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians.

If five months of investigation yielded no results, didn't Comey have an obligation

to not allow wild conspiracy theories to run wild in the media?

How long was Comey prepared to allow this nonsense to continue?

Trump's question about why he wasn't briefed about specific members of his campaign – and

the actions of the FBI before and after the election – demonstrates that Comey was not

acting in the best interest of America.

Comey was blinded by his hatred of Donald Trump and allowed the FBI to be used for political

character assassination.

Is this True about Trump and Kanye - Duration: 12:49.

Is this True about Trump and Kanye?

Amber Rose – a model, feminist, and former girlfriend of Kanye West – is speaking out

about President Donald Trump.

In an interview with Jesse Lee Peterson, host of "The Fallen State," Rose took the opportunity

to say what she really feels about the president.

During the interview, Rose gave some insight into the curious relationship between Trump

and Kanye West.

According to World Net Daily, Rose said:

"When I first saw Trump on the podium running for president, I was like, 'Oh, my God – that

is Kanye in a white man's body.'"

Rose also gave some interesting insight into the relationship dynamics and history that

may or may not exist between Trump and West.

As Rose said:

"This is gonna take a good 5 minutes 'cause ima talk to you," she said.

"I would like to think – and this is hypothetically speaking – I would like to think that Kanye

met with Trump, and Trump said, 'Look, I seen these people, I knew they were gonna

vote for me, and I used them to get elected, and I can't tell nobody that 'cause I

wanna get a second term, but now that I'm in office, I really wanna make a change.'

Now, Kanye can't snitch on him, he can't snitch on himself, so maybe he's thinking

of the greater good of what Trump can do for the country?

That's what I'm assuming.

Kanye's the type of person that he loves art, and he loves the art in things, so I

think that he appreciates the politics that Trump used in order to get in office.

Because Trump was a Democrat for like 30 years I heard, so I can only hope that Trump kind

of used the white people – seemingly racist white people – to get in office maybe for

the greater good.

I don't know."

However, Rose does not think highly of President Trump.

According to the interview, Rose believes Trump is a "sexual predator."

She said she believes this because she is "a feminist," and she "believe[s] women

all the time," and "give[s] women the benefit of the doubt."

When given questions about her beliefs surrounding women (specifically those accusing Trump of

sexual misconduct) who lie, Rose gave the acknowledgment this can happen.

However, she also said: "…when there's more than one woman with

the same story and these women don't know each other, they don't want money, they

want justice, that's when I feel like, OK, this is probably real."

"Well, the fact that he said he goes and just randomly grabs women by their p–sy,"

she replied.

"That was very offensive to me because I've been in those situations with very powerful

men feeling like they can come and touch me inappropriately without consent.

And that's what happens a lot with powerful men, rich men, men in general because their

parents didn't teach them about consent."

Rose also gave an analogy to describe her beliefs about Trump's accusers, and why

many have taken so long to step forward and make an accusation.

She said that because Trump and Bill Cosby are such powerful men, nobody likely believed

that the victims of sexual abuse were telling the truth.

Rose also said women don't typically have the opportunity to step forward until a person

in power believes at least one woman's testimony.

Then, she said, others have the courage to say, "I can't let her do this alone.

I have to now speak up."

Trump as slightly pathetic, as

remotely close to anything

presidential.

>> Yeah, there is a show on

an entire show of impersonating

Donald Trump.

That was like president trump

impersonating himself.

I've done dozens and dozens of

I was surprised by the me too

is obviously been a ground swell

Also recall this is a president

Last night that was perhaps the

There were several.

even among women, Republican

women, his approval number is 20

points lower than his approval

rating among Republican men.

He has 54% approval among men or

Republican men, 34% approval

among women.

That plays right into this

opportunity to steal women from

the independent and Republican

categories in the mid terms.

That has to make people like

Paul Ryan and Mitch Mcconnell to

see that.

>> Of course, women, suburban

women, that is not a hand the

Republican party wants to be

You would think Donald Trump, he

had success to a degree in 2016

with that, with Republican

Trump's Mar-a-Lago wants to hire dozens of foreigners - Daily News - Duration: 4:17.

Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump's self-described "Winter White House," asked the feds' permission to hire 40 temporary foreign workers as waiters and waitresses — despite his repeated knocks on immigrants and cries to "Hire American!"  The hires come as Trump is mired in an epic battle with Congress over immigration reform, is fighting to have his wall built on the southern border and has faced heat over the separation of nearly 3,000 migrant children from families illegally crossing that border

The request for the foreign workers was included in records posted by the Department of Labor on Thursday and was first reported by BuzzFeed News

While the president has pushed American companies with foreign operations to relocate to the US, and for all American companies to hire US workers, he has defended hiring temporary foreign workers by claiming that it's "very, very hard to get help" during the Florida tourist season

The workers would come in under the H-2 visa program, which lets US employers to hire guest workers under temporary visas if no qualified American workers want the jobs

Since Trump launched his presidential campaign at Trump Tower in June 2015, his businesses or those bearing his name have sought to hire more than 480 foreign guest workers, including more than 240 for Mar-a-Lago, the website reported

If Labor green lights the requests, the club will be allowed to employ the workers from October 2018 through May 2019 — height of the tourist season for his Palm Beach golf club and resort

The jobs would pay $12.68 per hour — $4.43 over Florida's $8.25 minimum wage — and be eligible for overtime

The request to hire foreign workers is one of several examples of Trump's rhetoric on immigration not squaring with his and his companies' actions

In Kenosha Wisconsin in April 2017, Trump signed an executive order directing federal agencies to put the "Buy American, Hire American" rhetoric of his campaign into practice

"The buy and hire American order I'm about to sign will protect workers and students like you," Trump told a students and employees at the headquarters of Snap-On Tools, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer, CNN reported

"It's America first, you better believe it. It's time. It's time, right?"  Trump said the order would "aggressively promote and use American-made goods and to ensure that American labor is hired to do the job

"  But many of Trump's signature product line and amenities in his hotels are made abroad, including clothing from Asia, Mexico and Central America

Likewise, first daughter Ivanka Trump's clothing and lifestyle lines are manufactured in low-wage countries including Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia and Vietnam

Last November, Trump got the OK from Labor to hire 70 cooks, maids and servers to work at Mar-a-Lago for the tourist season

TRUMP CHALLENGES SEN ELIZABETH WARREN TO A DNA TEST TO PROVE SHE IS NATIVE AMERICAN - Duration: 10:51.

hello everyone i'm kimberly guilfoyle along with marie harf Jesse Watters Dana

Perino and Tyrus it's five o'clock in New York City and this is the five

the breakneck pace of the Trump administration intensifies with a new

high States foreign policy move China is accusing the White House of launching

the largest trade war in history for slapping billions of dollars worth of

tariffs on Chinese goods this as our economy continues to boom US employers

adding a solid two hundred and thirteen thousand jobs last month President Chomp

explains why he's taking action against Beijing I respect China and I respect

President Xi but they've been killing us five hundred and seven billion dollars

in trade deficits last year 507 who the hell can lose 500 then you want to do

something about it you get attacked oh that's not nice that's not free trade

that war was lost on trade many years ago well Trump is also continuing to go

after Democrats by repeating his attacks on Maxine Waters and Elizabeth Warren a

vote for John tester is a vote for Chuck Schumer Nancy Pelosi

and the new leader of the Democrat Party Maxine Waters she is a low IQ individual

Maxine Waters she's somewhere in the mid 60's I believe that let's say I'm

debating Pocahontas right I'm gonna get one of those little kids and in the

middle of the debate when she proclaims that she's of Indian heritage because

her mother said she has high cheekbones

that's her only evidence that her mother said she and I G all right Jessie yes

choose carefully you want to go to China start with the DNA situation a couple of

weeks ago we had our little DNA tests and we all got them done and I believe I

was 99.9% European and point one percent sub-saharan African right so that would

be like if I went into college and claimed I was a minority in order to get

a leg up in the admissions process it's kind of in a way what Elizabeth Warren's

being accused of doing at Harvard as a professor mm-hmm I don't know if she has

any Native American blood her grandmother said she might have had

Indian blood I'm not sure there's only one way to prove it I mean looking at

her she looks about as white as Dana Perino I was a hundred percent year it

was a hundred percent again is the reality talking about that for two weeks

but listen I don't I don't want to hide her heritage there's only one way to

prove it but the Pocahontas nickname really has stuck and she has not been

able to shake this same with the low IQ Maxine Waters and we saw this nickname

deal in the primaries with you know what was it sweaty Marco or lyin Ted and

these things cut hard and they go viral and it's hard for these people to escape

that I mean imagine if I switch parties to the Democratic Party what Trump would

call me running waters dirty waters I that's why I would never say the name

would just so that's why you have to stay right okay alright so marina what

do you make of the situated on Jesse's soliloquy there but

really want to talk about China and the tariff sure yes I would talk about China

and the tariffs so what's interesting is these tariffs not just with China but

also with Canada Mexico and the EU have the real potential to hurt real voters

across the country whether it's soybean farmers in Indiana who are already

starting to feel the consequences of this so my question for the president is

when he starts to hear from these states from senators in the Republican Party

who are up for reelection or other members of Congress that the tariffs are

hurting the voters back at home will that change his calculation because the

president's whole theory of the case is if he puts these really tough tariffs on

these other countries will come and negotiate and make better trade deals

but we haven't seen any evidence they're willing to do so so that president's

playing hardball we have no new trade deals in place and meanwhile there's

great economic news as you mentioned sure that has the potential to be

undercut in people's paychecks and wallets if the tariffs continue for some

time it's a political question at some point not just an economic one for the

president okay well the president Dana has been you know pretty steadfast on

his talking points in about the economy about the tariffs that he feel there was

unequal bargaining between the United States and China has been in place

pretty much for you know about 40 years where these have had these discrepancies

where it feels like we have had sort of a disadvantage that we've been operating

on and so he's trying to correct that I'm what do you think about the timing

and the impact on the economy well I keep thinking that every morning we'll

wake up and find out Oh everything's solved and it was a big agreement

overnight and everything's fine looks like that's not going to happen the

other thing is there's a piece in The New York Times today that reiterated the

president floating that idea at the g7 that why don't we just take all the

tariffs off mm-hmm and heed full nur of the Heritage Foundation say that we'd be

for that and I'm like well actually go with that why don't we try that with our

allies he's gonna see most of them next play anyway whatever goes to the NATO

meeting I do think it has the potential to hurt people it takes a long time to

build market share especially if you're a farmer or soybean farmer or a cattle

rancher and it takes a while and it can be undone pretty quickly that's why I

hope that it gets done but one of the reasons that we have a trade deficit is

that we are a pretty wealthy country and we like to buy cheap things and China

makes a lot of cheap things that we like to buy and I

think that a little bit of this is turned on its head the other thing I

would say is the president's about to embark on an 11 day foreign trip yes

he's got a lot of great opportunities but it's also fraught with a lot of

challenges because my rule is every time a president goes on a foreign trip

something major happens at home yep so on Monday night he'll announce his

Supreme Court pick and then he'll be off and he'll go and he'll let the White

House and the Senate try to work on that nomination and he'll be out out out of

the country I think that's actually a pretty smart strategy but then always

something else happens at home nobody knows what it's gonna be okay so we'll

see we're gonna look for that and hear about it first on the daily briefing two

o'clock for sure hello Tyrus hello he's so nice to have you back again for

another day easy to be here yeah look we have a saying where I'm from it's called

break bread or play dead and that's what we're doing with China we have the high

ground they need us more than we need them and they've enjoyed a pretty good

run of getting a benefit of making a lot of money of our expense here's that he

knows he's got four aces in his hand China knows he's got four he's in his

hand they're going to and on top of that the economy is great and in fact Wall

Street shook it off and just kept going with the new jobs so there wasn't a big

like was it uh my dear colleague Richard's like wait till midnight and

those tariffs come in is another one of those horror movies that's coming that

never actually come midnight it's in trouble we have time our economy is good

our jobs are good China has a lot of exports so they need us so this was a

good move and let's just be patient and see what happens yeah it's not only a

trade policy but it's a national security strategy with China because

when we brought them into the WTO they abused the system they dumped all these

cheap goods into the United States they manipulate their currency they don't

allow for an investment they restrict that very forcefully and they're

building up their Navy big time so all we're saying is listen you know we need

to contain China and we've got to have our allies in order to contain China and

protect us workers because you know ever since China got into the WTO

the American blue collar men and women who work a lot of long hours in this

country have gotten hammered the wages have gone down and the jobs have left so

Trump came in to protect those people one of the ways to do that is to contain

the rise of China they're a big global threat there's gonna be a big clash of

the great powers eventually and I would disagree with Marie you said that you

know the our allies and the people that we've been you know doing these little

terra fours with haven't really done anything

South Korea caved on autos and steel deal with them no New Deal no they're

allowing more imports of US autos in your country and they drop to tears no

they're renegotiating current deals right now the France has agreed to pay

more for the NATO costs Germany Angela Merkel said the other day didn't get

picked up but she's willing to drop Auto tariffs - and the u EU and Japan have

now come in and encircled China within the WTO along our side so I think he is

moving the needle on that but there are no trade deals that we've seen put into

place he pulled out of TPP he's threatening to blow up NAFTA and none of

these other countries that stepped up bilaterally and said we wanted to a

trade deal with you instead and look like - I think it's gonna take a very

long time average men and women you're talking about the blue-collar Americans

they're the ones that are most hurt by a lot of these tariffs people in the

Midwest in places like Indiana and Missouri and we're concerned about so

there might be some short-term pain I agree with that but but is this

short-term pain going to get us to a better trade policy in the end of the

day it's the strategy that most economists across the political spectrum

don't think well I think most economists said a lot of great things were going to

happen with a lot of the other trade deals a lot of jobs left the country and

he's got 200 billion in new tariffs ready to go as well Dina do you have

another comment not really I mean I think a lot of these numbers get thrown

around and it's like with the WTO the United States wins 89 percent of the

cases that it takes to the WTO yeah can we get to 100 percent wins

maybe I mean China is not innocent here by a long shot and especially when it

comes to intellectual property theft yep and the technology companies they

absolutely should be called on for that but I think that the place to do this

would be with our allies with NATO but again even that still is like you giving

NATO a bloody nose on the way to a better trade deal I don't know I mean

maybe it'll all work out I'm hopeful okay so data is optimistic with her

sunny side up what are you positive like I'm patient I play poker
