Trump news on Youtube Jun 15 2018

you and turn it over to Chris Rey the FBI director morning everybody thanks

for being here on such short notice as you all know of course the Justice

Department's Office of the Inspector General issued its report today about

DOJ and FBI activity in the run-up to the 2016 election let me say up front I

appreciate the Inspector General's work on this important review thought to take

a few minutes to talk about the report and then I'm happy to take a few

questions the FBI's mission is to protect the

American people and uphold the Constitution but to carry out that

mission were entrusted with a lot of authority so our actions are subject to

close oversight from the courts from our elected leaders and from independent

entities like inspector general and that's how it should be that kind of

examination that kind of oversight makes the FBI's stronger as an organization

and makes the public more safe with that in mind let me briefly address the

findings in the inspector general's report I take this report very seriously

and we accept its findings and recommendations it's also important

though to know what the Inspector General did not find this report did not

find any evidence of political bias for improper considerations actually

impacting the investigations under review the report does identify errors

of judgment violations of or even disregard for policy and decisions that

at the very least with the benefit of hindsight we're not the best choices

we've already started taking the necessary steps to address those issues

first we're gonna hold employees accountable for any potential misconduct

we've already referred conduct highlighted in the report to our

disciplinary arm Oh PR which is the FBI's independent

Office of Professional Responsibility we need to hold ourselves accountable for

the choices we make and the work we do we're doing that fairly but without

delay in the way that people should expect we're gonna adhere to the

appropriate disciplinary process and once that process is complete we won't

hesitate to hold people accountable for their actions second we're gonna make

sure that every FBI employee understands the lessons of this report because

change starts at the top starts with me we're gonna require all of our senior

executives from all around the world to convene for in-depth training

specifically focused on learning the lessons that we should learn on this

report then we're gonna train every single FBI employee both new hires and

veterans alike on what went wrong so these mistakes will never be repeated

third we're gonna make sure that we have the policies the procedures and the

training that are needed for everyone to understand and remember what is expected

of all of us that includes drilling home the importance of objectivity of

avoiding even the appearance of personal conflicts or political bias in our work

ensuring that recusal x' are handled correctly and effectively and

communicated to all the right people making all of our employees fully aware

of our new policy on media contacts which I used last November and making

painfully clear that we will not tolerate non-compliant ensuring that we

follow all DOJ policies on public statements about uncharged conduct or

ongoing investigations and ensuring that our employees adhere strictly

to all policies and procedures about the use of FBI systems networks and devices

I've also directed our associate deputy director to lead a review of how the FBI

handles sensitive investigations and to make recommendations on how those should

be staffed structured and supervised in the future so that every sensitive

investigation is conducted to the FBI's highest standards we're gonna continue

also to work with the Department to gauge our progress in each of these

areas the OIG report makes clear that we've got some work to do but let's also

be clear on the scope of this report it's focused on a specific set of events

back in 2016 in a small number of FBI employees

connected to those events nothing nothing in this report impugns the

integrity of our workforce as a whole or the FBI as an institution as I said

earlier fair and independent scrutiny is welcome an appropriate accountability is

crucial we're gonna learn from this report and we're gonna be better and

stronger as a result but I also want to be crystal clear about the FBI that I

get to see in the past ten months I've been able to visit over 30 of our FBI

field offices around the country and a whole bunch of our league at offices

overseas I visited with folks from every FBI Division at headquarters and in

office after office meeting after meeting I see extraordinary people doing

extraordinary work again and again I hear remarkable stories frankly

inspiring stories about the work the men and women of the FBI are doing to

protect the American people and uphold the Constitution just in the past

several months we've disrupted terrorist attacks in places ranging from the

Sherman's Wharf in San Francisco to a crowded shopping mall in Miami in March

we charged a ring of Iranian state-sponsored hackers with stealing

terabytes of data from scores of American companies universities and

government agencies in Austin we deplored more than 600 of our people to

assist in the investigation of the package bombings down there this year

alone we've rescued one thousand three hundred and five kids from child

predators some of them as young as seven months old we've arrested more than

4,600 gang members violent gang members in just the past several months our FBI

lab has closed thousands of cases through fingerprint analysis and DNA

analysis and our hostage rescue team has deployed something like 27 different

times on missions around the country I could go on and on the FBI's men and

women are doing all that work with the unfailing fidelity to the Constitution

and the laws that it demands the bravery that it calls for and the integrity that

the American people rightly expect as FBI director I'm laser focused on

ensuring that our folks get to continue that great work and do it with the

fidelity and bravery and integrity that we've always had as I've been saying

since as far back as my confirmation hearing I'm a huge believer in the

importance of process of doing this job by the book in every respect and I

expect all our employees to do the same I've tried to emphasize that at every

opportunity in my view the FBI's brand over the past 110 years

is based less on all of our many many successes than it is on the way in which

we've earned those successes following our rules following the law following

our guidelines staying faithful to our core values and

our best traditions trying to make sure we're doing the right thing but to doing

it in the right way treating everybody with respect and

following the facts independently and objectively no matter who likes it that

is the best way that in my view is the only way to maintain trust and

credibility with the people we serve I appreciate this chance to respond to

the IGS report and I would also refer you for more detail in our written

response that's attached at the end of the expect returns report and with that

I'm happy to take a few questions pick Euler that singled out and the report

has been referred to OPI which what are you referring to in particular I can't

comment on any specific personnel matter I would just say that there are a number

of instances in the report where there's conduct that's highlighted we've had

that referred to are as I say our disciplinary arm our OPR there's a

process for that it's a tough process it's a rigorous process and we expect

that process to be followed and once that process is complete we won't

hesitate to hold people accountable

all these only Peter struck is being referred for an investigation to see if

that's a violation of policy if that investigation ongoing in are there

besides Peter struck who were being investigated in frontline well again I'm

not gonna talk about any particular personnel matter because I don't think

that would be appropriate as I said at the beginning I'm committed to doing the

right thing in the right way and by the book and by the book there's not a clue

talking about pending personnel matters with all of you much as you might like

for me to ask that yeah thanks you said there's nothing in the report that

includes the integrity of yet yeah its workforce as a whole but the report does

say that there is a culture of leaking at the FBI do you disagree with that

finding in the report and what do you plan to do about it if you do it well as

I said we accept the findings of the report and the recommendations there

going a number of things on that regard first we issued a new media policy

that's much stricter and much more clear than what had been in place before

second we're going to be doing intensive training on exactly those issues things

like the one that you alluded to that includes contacts with the media third

we're gonna make painfully clear to everybody that we won't tolerate

non-compliance and then last I've asked our OPR to take a hard look at whether

or not they think the penalties that exist right now are sufficient to deal

with that kind of contract yeah sure

maybe actually about sort of a reputation in the FBI certainly the FBI

has taken a lot of hits from the president his tweets and I'm what is

called certain things he said about certain investigations members of

Congress have certainly hit at you guys are now sterling this report you know

take some issues but with the FBI and a lot of what we've been hearing is that

you know people are worried that the reputation of the FBI has suffered as a

result of all the activity in the last several months and I'm just wondering if

you think that's the case and if so what you intend to do to try and fix some of

the perception perhaps that the public may have of the FBI now well that's a

subject that's near and dear to me I guess I would say a couple things one is

there's no shortage of opinions about us out there I will tell you that the

opinions that I care the most about are the opinions of the people who actually

really know us and know us through our work so I'm focused on what a jury's

think on our agents take this fan I'm focused on what a judges think when we

give them a search warrant I'm focused on what victims and their families think

when they are asked who do you trust to get your child back I'm focused on what

do our state local law enforcement partners think when they think who do

they trust who do prosecutors want to work with on cases to me it's the work

that matters if I look at things like that I look at how our recruiting is

doing I look at how our retention is doing our recruiting we get about 12,000

plus people for example trying to be special agents every year our admission

rate our selection rate 5% that's better than the admission rate at Harvard Yale

Princeton or Stanford and it's not a fluke you know we just recently hired a

whole new crop of honors interns so the young people coming out of college who

have lots of choices about what they want to do with their careers we have

the highest number of applicants we've ever had for our honours intern program

want to know what that admission rate was 5% I look at things like that I look

at what people think when they know us and I look at what people think when

they express their views to their actions I look at our attrition rate our

attrition rate in the Asian population the FBI is zero

8% till my view the views that matter the opinions that matter or the views of

the people who know is through a work and when I go around the country and

around the world and I talked to our partners and I talked to the victims and

I talked to people who know us our brand is doing just fine there if you could

sum up your reaction and your from having read it in one word what is that

word and and how would you describe your emotional reaction to it

disappointed not that I can think of in person is something important Jesus

report criticized them all investigation investigation shorts appeals of all

investigation can have integrity and credibility and also some people are

criticizing you for making the status by by a shared document of conference

investigative documents and so how do you respond to the criticism that you

might be making mistake right now private by sharing investigating

well I think on the on the first point I'm not going to speak for the Office of

Special Counsel I would note that there are a number of things that we've done

both in terms of referring people to OPR but also in terms of reassigning people

to try to ensure that we're bringing the right kind of integrity to staffing and

all sensitive investigations as to the congressional question my view is we

have an obligation to be responsive to legitimate congressional oversight

that's part of our job as I said at the beginning we are entrusted with enormous

power so we should expect we're gonna get tough questions and we need to be

responsive and cooperate with that but but we also have an obligation to

protect sources and methods and not to compromise ongoing criminal

investigations and to adhere to things like grand jury secrecy and things like

that so the challenge is how do we make sure we do both we're committed to

trying to do both and I think we've struck the right balance so far

well again I'm not gonna comment on any other person's opinions no matter where

they're communicated what I am gonna do is talk about the opinions that I think

matter the opinions to me that matter are the opinions of the people that are

relevant to our work day in day out all across this country we have 37,000 FBI

employees agents analysts and staff has scores and passports officers that work

with them and every day every day all around this country around the world

those people are having to make important decisions that protect lives

the opinions of the people that they have to engage with on that work those

are the opinions that matter to me that's what I'm focused on as far as the

report goes there's some sobering lessons in there and we're gonna learn

those lessons and we're gonna act on those lessons and that's the way the FBI

is always handled these things in the past and that's what made the FBI's

stronger over the last 110 good faith in their oversight efforts given that

you've created that the FBI has disagreed with some of the

characterizations of meetings and various things that have come out I

think Congress has a job to do and we have a job to do and together we're

trying to work through the various issues that are presented by the

tensions between congressional oversight and as I said earlier protection of

sources methods tradecraft ongoing investigations and things like that

we're committed to trying to work through those things from Congress yes

the people who are involved where I've been referred to OPR but can you tell us

how many have been referred to OPR as a result of this room I can't that's not a

topic I can comment on I really want to be careful I know why you're asking the

question that I respect that but it's really important to me to make sure that

we don't compound the mistakes that are found in this report by deviating from

our process and so I think it's very important that we respect the

appropriate process that it be done right as I said earlier by

the book and once that process is complete we will not hesitate to hold

people account the lessons are the importance number one the importance of

trying to make sure that we avoid even the appearance of bias in all of our

work that objectivity and the appearance of objectivity matters there's lessons

in there about contacts with the media and appropriate engagement with all of

you there's lessons in there about the appropriate uses of devices there's a

number of things in the IG has a number of I think nine recommendations at the

end and I think those are the lessons that we're trying to learn from this

report we take it very seriously and we accept the findings and the

recommendations thank you

BREAKING: President Trump Has Been Nominated For Nobel Peace Prize- Here's Who Nominated Him! - Duration: 5:01.

It's really happening folks!

Even though the Nobel Peace Prize was cheapened by the fact that Al Gore and an empty suit

like Barack Hussein Obama each have one, it looks like now the committee is trying to

make amends by awarding it to a person who actually deserves it.

Yesterday, two Norwegian MPs called for President Trump to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize

after his long-awaited summit with Noth Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

This would be the second time President Trump has been nominated.

"What's happening now is historic," Amundsen told state broadcaster NRK.

"A process is underway to ensure world peace in the future.

It's a fragile process, but we must, of course, do what we can to help this process

bring good results.

I think that we can do by sending a clear signal by giving Trump the peace prize."

Norwegian Lawmakers Christian Tybring-Gjedde and Per-Willy Amundsen who are both of the

conservative Norwegian Progress Party wrote a nominating letter calling for President

Trump to be given the award by the Norwegian Nobel Committee to support this "historic"

peace process.

The nomination letter goes on to compare Trump's actions to those of American President Theodore

Roosevelt.

Whom they note was given the prize in 1906 for his efforts to bring peace between Russia

and Japan at the end of the Russian-Japanese War.

This comes after 18 Republican lawmakers signed their names to a letter nominating Trump for

the prize.

The letter correctly stated that the president worked "tirelessly to apply maximum pressure

to North Korea to end its illicit weapons programs and bring peace to the region."

"The summit in Singapore has made US President Donald Trump "a man of peace," according

to two Norwegian parliamentary representatives (from the Frp party), and as NRK reports,

they have nominated him for the most gifted award of all of them.

Representatives Christian Tybring-Gjedde (Frp) and Per-Willy Amundsen (Frp) believe it qualifies

Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

"What's happening now is historical.

A process is underway to ensure world peace in the future.

It's a fragile process, but we must of course do what we can to help this process bring

good results.

I think that we can do by sending a clear signal by giving Trump the peace prize."

And amid all the left's dismay at just what was agreed, the two Norwegian parliamentarians,

however, do not believe that a peace-winning nomination is too early.

"It's not a binding agreement, but it's an initiative to visit both ways, it's an

initiative to end the disaster going on and to put a damper on the military exercises

the United States has with South Korea.

As such, this is a push to Donald Trump to continue what he has already started," says

Tybring-Gjedde.

"It would not be the first time giving the peace prize to anyone involved in a process.

It has happened before.

Obviously, we will follow the process carefully, but at least you have arrived, I think is

worth a peace prize, "says Amundsen.

The Norwegian nomination follows a group of 18 GOP lawmakers led by Rep. Luke Messer of

Indiana, who signed a letter formally nominating President Trump for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize

in May.

"We can think of no one more deserving of the Committee's recognition in 2019 than

President Trump for his tireless work to bring peace to our world."

Mission Accomplished?

The Nobel Committee received peace prize nominations at Donald Trump in both 2016, 2017 and 2018.

However, this year the alarm went off, and the Nobel Institute linked the police because

they thought they had received a fake nomination for Trump.

Trump's nomination this year will be for the 2019 Nobel.

"In this situation, Trump is obviously a man of peace.

He tries to get something that others have not gotten, and when he makes it, he deserves

fame," says Tybring-Gjedde.

Amundsen adds that he thinks the summit and the agreement between Trump and Kim, go right

into Nobel's testament.

"This goes straight into the core of the Nobel testament.

It's about disarmament and about creating peace.

These are the results that count."

South Korean President Moon Jae-in has also one of the heads of state calling for Trump

to be given the prize.

Both the Norwegian and American letters of nomination are for the 2019 prize since the

2018 award period ended in February.

According to the Nobel Prize's website, a nomination is considered valid if submitted

by persons in certain categories.

Those categories include members of national assemblies and national governments of sovereign

states as well as current heads of state.

There are 330 candidates for the 2018 prize, which will be announced in October.

There is no doubt that President Trump is worthy of the prize, but the question remains,

will the committee look beyond its left-wing bias and do the right thing?

We'll just have to wait and see.

✅ Strzok, Page Texts: 'We'll Stop' Trump From Being President - Duration: 4:00.

FBI agent Peter Strzok texted fellow bureau official Lisa Page in August 2016 that "we'll stop" Donald Trump from ever becoming president, according to the newly released Justice Department inspector general's report

The report said Page texted Strzok, "[Trump's] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!"  "No. No he won't. We'll stop it," Strzok responded

"We were deeply troubled by text messages sent by Strzok and Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations," the report stated

" Advertisement – story continues below  Republican lawmakers condemned the sentiments in the texts by FBI officials who are supposed to impartially enforce the nation's laws

"In Louisiana, we call that bias, we don't call that objective," Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., told Fox News on Thursday.  House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S

C., said in a statement that the report shows "an alarming and destructive level of animus displayed by top officials at the FBI

" Do you think Strzok and Page should face criminal charges?  "Peter Strzok's manifest bias trending toward animus casts a pall on this investigation … His bias impacted his decision making and he assigned to himself the role of stopping the Trump campaign or ending a Trump Presidency," Gowdy said

The former federal prosecutor added: "This is not the FBI I know."  In texts released by the inspector general in December, Strzok described Trump as a "loathsome human" and an "idiot," and found the prospect of him being president "terrifying

" Advertisement – story continues below  Page, his then mistress, responded, "There is no way he gets elected."  Strzok fired back: "I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy's office …that there's no way he gets elected — but I'm afraid we can't take that risk

JUST IN Trump Put All Gov't Workers On 30 Day Notice With Sudden Executive Order Overnight - Duration: 10:02.

JUST IN Trump Put All Gov't Workers On 30 Day Notice With Sudden Executive Order Overnight

President Trump has just issued a series of executive orders that potentially gut federal

employee unions' ability to negotiate with agency leaders and represent workers, as well

as reducing the time it takes for an agency to fire people for poor performance or misconduct.

I view this as a very good thing.

For far too long, government employees have felt safe from repercussions for not working

or for misbehaving.

This puts an end to that.

It looks like President Trump has had it with slackers in the federal government and he's

fixing that.

Shape up or ship out.

Trump is billing this as the first step toward broad civil service reform.

Three executive orders were issued that are aimed at making it easier to fire poor performers

and it orders harsher treatment of union representatives.

This step is long overdue and it will go a long way to eradicating corruption in the

government ranks.

It also sets the powerful unions back on their heels.

They will no longer operate like the mafia within our government.

"Today, the President is fulfilling his promise to promote a more efficient government

by reforming civil service rules," said Andrew Bremberg, director of the President's

Domestic Policy Council.

"Every year, the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey shows that less than one-third of federal

employees believe poor performers are adequately addressed by their agency.

These executive orders make it easier to remove poor performing employees, and ensure that

taxpayer dollars are more efficiently used."

The first thing on the agenda is reducing the time it takes to fire poor performers

and employees suspected of misconduct by standardizing the length of Performance Improvement Plans

to 30 days across the federal government.

Right now it varies agency to agency and takes somewhere between 60 and 120 days usually.

"A GAO report shows that it takes six months to a year to remove someone from government,

and can often take another nine months on appeal," an official said.

"[This] also encourages agencies to fire someone for misconduct when they've been

engaged in behavior that warrants it, instead of just suspending them."

Talk about cleaning house.

The official said the administration would also make performance a more important factor

than seniority when agencies undertake layoffs.

According to DML News:

"The second executive order directs federal agencies to renegotiate contracts with unions

representing government employees so as to reduce waste.

The anonymous administration official expressed hope that, for example, agencies could stop

having to pay expenses on both sides when unions undertake appeals on behalf of fired

workers."

"The third order aims to cut down on "official time," in which government workers who have

roles in the union, like helping colleagues file grievances, are allowed to perform those

roles during normal working hours for which they draw their usual salary.

(An analogous concept exists for private-sector unions.)

The order limits official time to 25 percent of their hours during the year."

Administration officials said they estimate the changes to labor relations policies could

save "at least" $100 million in taxpayer money.

That's very good news.

When asked about potential increased costs as a result of the decrease in official time,

which is often used to mitigate disputes before a grievance or civil litigation is filed,

an official claimed such actions would actually decrease.

Again… winning.

"Litigations and grievances, we expect those to be reduced quite substantially, although

our cost savings estimate doesn't factor that in," the official said.

"Once those are factored in, the savings would only be increased, not decreased."

And boy howdy, the unions are ticked over this.

American Federation of Government Employees National President J. David Cox said in a

statement that the executive orders are a "direct assault" on union members' legal

rights.

"This is more than union busting—it's democracy busting," he said.

"President Trump's executive orders do nothing to help federal workers do their jobs

better.

In fact, they do the opposite by depriving workers of their rights to address and resolve

workplace issues such as sexual harassment, racial discrimination, retaliation against

whistleblowers, improving workplace health and safety, enforcing reasonable accommodations

for workers with disabilities, and so much more."

Someone get that guy a tissue.

Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) praised the move in a statement, calling it an important step

toward a more effective federal government."The hallmark of the American civil service is

our commitment to hire the best and the brightest to serve our fellow Americans," he said.

"These executive orders strive to make the federal government more efficient, not only

for the taxpayer, but for our great federal workers.

We have thousands of federal employees who work very hard for the nation; it's important

that their work is not frustrated by the poor performance of a small few."

That's exactly right.

Hire the best and fire those who do not do their jobs.

In a call with the media, AFGE officials said the union will consider all possible actions

to fight the executive orders, including litigation.

"My lawyers are already looking at what possible violations of the law are contained

within the executive orders, and we will take action accordingly," said AFGE General Counsel

David Borer.

"We haven't seen the final version yet, but we're preparing our analysis and we

will respond aggressively."

Tony Reardon, national president of the National Treasury Employees Union, said in a statement

said the executive order is not only an assault on unions but on "the nation's civil service

laws.

Rather than promote efficiency in the federal sector, the administration is demanding federal

workers lose their ability to challenge unfair, arbitrary and discriminatory firings and other

actions.

This would begin the process of dismantling the merit system that governs our civil service."

No sir, this begins a system that requires government employees to be responsible not

only for their work but their actions.

It's part of the Trump Doctrine and a welcome change.

Ted Cruz Just Gave Trump A Big Unexpected Birthday Gift That's Huge For America And Libs Will Hate - Duration: 4:52.

Ted Cruz Just Gave Trump A Big Unexpected Birthday Gift That's Huge For America And

Libs Will Hate

President Trump got a nice early birthday present from Ted Cruz.

It was something unexpected from the former competitor who tried to take down Trump for

the top spot on the Republican card of the 2016 election.

Cruz wasn't successful in outing Trump to square up against Hillary Clinton, but Cruz

took his defeat with his head held high.

He's not sending praise towards Trump for multiple "wins" that Donald has accomplished.

The DCNF reported that Cruz was talking at the 2018 Road to Majority conference and that's

when he started speaking about Trump's victories in terms of faith, family, and life.

Ted Cruz has had his fair share of victories, limelight, and media coverage, but it was

very unexpected to see his conversation go from one topic over to President Trump and

the accomplishments.

There are some people who favor Cruz over Trump, or Trump over Cruz, and some people

who like both.

Trump's supporters likely found it wonderful that the Texas senator was speaking so highly

of President Trump and his administration.

That type of support is important because accomplishments should be acknowledged, regardless

of which party people represent.

In this case, it's one top Republican praising the president and that's how it should be.

Acknowledgement of accomplishments is important and supportive and Ted Cruz just showed what

he's capable of.

The DCNF wrote: "Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas praised

the Trump administration Thursday for seven major victories he said it accomplished "for

faith, for family — for the values that we share."

Cruz made the remarks at the 2018 Road to Majority conference hosted by the Faith & Freedom

Coalition.

He lauded the current presidential administration for making significant advances for the protection

of religious liberty, individual rights concerning education and family, the defense of the unborn

and foreign policy that reversed Obama-era deals.

"Let's start with number one — judges," Cruz said.

"Principled, constitutionalist judges."

Cruz mentioned the Trump administration's victory concerning the nation's courts with

the appointment of Justice Neil Gorsuch, as well as the Supreme Court's recent ruling

in the Colorado bakery case.

"The so-called Colorado civil rights commission demonstrated an antipathy, an animosity to

faith that was visceral," Cruz said.

The Supreme Court, however, ruled that "you cannot discriminate against religious faith,"

Cruz said, instead of ruling they must be forced to violate their consciences.

"That is not narrow," Cruz added.

"That is a bedrock principle of our First Amendment and of our nation."

"A second victory concerns life," Cruz continued, lauding the Trump administration's

"return of the Mexico City rules," which prevented the U.S. from providing foreign

aid to fund abortions in other countries.

Other facets of the administration's victory for life, according to Cruz, include the new

Health and Human Services rules preventing tax funding for health clinics that provide

abortions, as well as the dismissal of the litigation against the Little Sisters of the

Poor and the repeal of the "abhorrent so-called contraceptive mandate in Obamacare."

"Here's a really good rule of thumb," Cruz said.

"If you're litigating against nuns, you've probably done something wrong.

It's a wonderfully reliable checklist."

The third victory for Cruz was the historic tax cut Congress passed in December, which

he said provided more money for the majority of American citizens by "cutting taxes on

small businesses, cutting taxes on farmers, cutting taxes on families."

Cruz then advocated for the implementation of a flat tax and declared Americans "should

abolish the IRS."

The Trump administration scored a fourth victory, according to Cruz, with the repeal of the

Obamacare individual mandate.

He acknowledged, however, that the repeal of the Affordable Care Act was "the Republican

Party's biggest unkept promise" and urged the party to keep fighting for that outcome.

The final three victories Cruz said the Trump administration achieved for the nation and

its values were the passage of "school choice" legislation, Trump's decision to move the

U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and Trump's "right decision to withdraw from the disastrous

Obama Iran nuclear deal."

Cruz listed off seven major victories that he seemed to appreciate.

If he finds them to be worthy of mentioning and supporting, then many Americans might

feel the same way, especially if the victories are beneficial to as many people as possible.

Trump and his team have constantly worked hard towards making better decisions that

put America first.

Some of Trump's critics have bashed him with a barrage of babbling nonsense, but he

and his team push through the generic mess created by the mainstream media and those

who despise him.

Some of Trump's biggest critics seem to spend too much time being part of the problem

instead of joining forces to become part of the solution.

Trump's Singapore summit,ART OF THE DENUCLEARIГATION DEAL - Duration: 11:32.

that's right hi everybody well over the show Lorraine's got some breaking sports

news this means a lot to me in the world the World Cup is coming to the US and

some 26 soccer yes this gonna be an expanded thank you Chris Joel oh it's

gonna be expanded tournament 46 teams and guess what they'll call it the NAFTA

World Cup because Mexico and Canada and the US will combine to promise FIFA 11

billion dollar profit the most profitable World Cup ever was here in

1994 Idella enabled us to prepare to start a professional league with the

revenue it gained the MLS is now thriving fastest growing in the world

and after getting screwed out of Cotter screwed by Moscow because we wouldn't

cheat and pay off FIFA officials we finally had our FBI blow up FIFA

reconfigure and believe it or not Morocco was the only contender to stop

us so this is huge news would make the world's biggest sport and biggest

tournament comes to a comes to North America now Americans have got to have

fall in love with soccer you got eight years why would they call it the NAFTA

World Cup if there's no NAFTA because in my words it's not in the story the my

story I just want you to picture America and Mexico all three teams they say we

don't have to build one stadium we got plenty of stadiums we don't have to do

any of this corrupt building that they're doing in Moscow with that five

hundred percent over budget where would the game be and it's going to be

televised by Fox because we're not there right I'll be in the US I mean you know

it's gonna be in Los Angeles you know it's gonna be in New York you know it's

gonna be one Stadium it is non-stop this whole country through this big party in

94 when we weren't even thinking about soccer

all right so we'll have more on the congratulations I'm surprised they plan

that far out but good yeah build stuff and they need to you know pay off

politicians historically hopefully not but our FBI blew this up and they

thought they were gonna get it back at us by not giving us the world you know

so much now about soccer you didn't know you're gonna fall in love with it

minutes these case doesn't want to know I was a soccer coach for many years i'm

i've retired meanwhile let's talk about this we've got a Fox News Alert

president truck after a whirlwind summit remember it

started in Canada that didn't go so well for the rest of the world went okay for

him he said look I got a walk at I'm we're talking to America first and

anyone over to Singapore and they signed that agreement to D nuke the Korean

Peninsula and it sounds like the sanctions are gonna stay in place until

mr. Kim can prove that he has done just that there is no Thai hopefully got some

sleep because he said in the press or yesterday that he had gone 25 hours

without sleep but he did have a 20 plus hour plane flight so hopefully he got

some sleep he is tweeting this morning he said just landed a long trip but

everybody can now feel much safer than the day I took office there is no longer

a nuclear threat from North Korea meeting with Kim jong-un was an

interesting and very positive experience north korea has great potential for the

future so what's interesting is the north korean newspaper has covered it

this way and said you know they obviously call it KO looked at their

leader they knew once he left they announced that he left and where he was

going the Korean news state media reported

that President Trump and the and Kim jong-un met they agreed to adopt a

step-by-step approach to denuclearizing the country so North Korea government

told the North Koreans and they're gonna denuclearize that's I think that's

important absolutely the president also tweeted you know

before taking office people were assuming that we were going to war with

North Korea President Obama said that North Korea was our biggest and most

dangerous problem no longer sleep well tonight he also tweeted this out and

this is big the world has taken a big step back from potential nuclear

catastrophe no more rocket launches nuclear testing or researches the

hostages are back home with their families thank you to chairman Kim our

day together was historic think about that how far we've come and what's

happened because of this three hostages back home safely

they're getting rid of their missile they're testing sites they're saying

they're gonna need D nuke that could lead to if they did not Dinu that could

lead to a war so many lives have been saved if we don't have to go to war

right there's four elements in it a lot of people expected more it is just the

start a lot of people are saying wow I'm so disappointed other people are

high-fiving I think the the best of the worst is yet to come it's

got to come out in the next six months it's a good yeah according to the

president meanwhile senator Cory Gardner joined us at last hour he's on the

Foreign Relations Committee he talked to the president here's what he said what

he knows and what would who thinks will happen first time we've seen Kim Atelier

united states president in person that he supported denuclearization we have a

ways to go but that's a historic achievement the bottom line is this we

will know that we have an agreement that is working with and toward

denuclearization and Wilner we're gonna know that soon we're gonna have more

follow-up meetings this is going to be tested the president made it clear that

this will continue if there's not the progress made toward denuclearization

that was promised exactly right so you know there are a lot there are a lot of

details are going to be fleshing out in the days and weeks and months ahead but

it is a good first step meanwhile let's talk a little bit about this you know

that Congress has oversight over the executive branch right well they're

trying they've been trying for a very long time to get some of the documents

regarding the mahler investigation so a number of months ago back in January I

understand the there are a couple of committees in particular the Intel

committee up on Capitol Hill and they asked the Deputy Attorney General to go

ahead and provide some documents that they need and they wanted to establish a

paper trail so we're gonna request these in paper on paper so that there's a

record well then he came back a rod Rosenstein and he was angry that they

had sent requests for documents in writing and then he was critical of the

requests to then have the Department of Justice and the FBI respond in writing

as well and that turned out to in the estimation of a couple of people who

were in the room sounded like he was intimidating these congressional

staffers threatening them with subpoena in their records and their phones just

to push him back so they're saying we want to tell the American people what's

really happening in this Russia investigation we want oversight we want

to see what's happening so give us those documents give us those records if

you're not trying to hide anything you won't care you'll give them over to us

and then according to people in the room on this committee they said Rosenstein

came in and threatened them and said you want these records then I want to see

all your phone records and I'll sit you know though DOJ said that didn't

have that didn't happen he was just protecting himself if he was gonna be

held in contempt of Congress Alan Dershowitz weighed in on the legality of

this so-called intimidation this is a classic dispute between separation of

powers the legislature has the power obviously to oversee and investigate the

executive branch and a member of the executive branch which is what red roses

sign is shouldn't be able to bully the legislative branch he should be

transparent he should turn over the documents he should be cooperative and

in Congress should be cooperative the executive branch you know we have so

much dispute today partisan dispute this is between the legislature and the

executive branch you know there were all Republicans they shouldn't be fighting

with each other DOJ says no one in the room was ever

threatened with a criminal investigation this informations false and we have the

right to defend our stock meadows and Jim Jordan were on with Laura last night

they said that they are going to have a resolution coming out very promptly

probably today compelling the Deputy Attorney General rod Rosenstein to

provide these documents that they say they are entitled to because Congress

has oversight over the department and by the way it's going to be interesting on

Thursday because rod Rosen Stein will be briefing the President on the IG report

which is 500 pages long to find out and give the president a concrete idea of

what the IG report says about what was the in what was done and not done in the

Hillary Clinton email investigation all right and so that should be interesting

the president tweets after that will be fascinating it's the president's

birthday yes right well Andrew McAfee was who was involved in this he was the

former FBI deputy director he's now suing the DOJ in the FBI and you

remember him he was the one that he was a few days away from retirement and he

got fired because he was leaking information to the press and then lying

about it to investigators to the Intel community and was proven to lie several

times since we got fired and didn't get his retirement yeah it's gonna be really

fascinating to see how Andy McCabe ends up going because they'll have to going

after James Comey because they both can't be telling the truth so he is

actually having his legal team sue this is fascinating because one point he was

all focused on the president now he realizes his problems are much do

anything old files right I want the files

connected I want to know I want to see the Inspector General

manual on how to discipline people who were in big trouble because right now

the Department of Justice is not providing that to mr. Mackay who used to

be part of the Department of Justice ironically altum Utley

McCabe's lawyers to say they're just trying to clear his name so stay tuned

for that they're trying to get his retirement money to

they are both expected to be okay a suspect opening fire as police responded

to a potential abduction sparking a manhunt overnight no word yet though on

an official motive the FBI agent who accidentally shot a man after doing a

backflip in a bar is now charged with assault

chase Bishop turning himself in to police in Colorado

he's expected to face a judge today prosecutors say Bishop could face even

more charges depending on the results of a blood alcohol test he was off duty at

the time of the shooting former President George HW Bush

celebrating his 94th birthday surrounded by family his son former president

george w bush posting this picture calling himself a lucky man to be with

his father granddaughter jenna sharing this sweet snap of her daughter and her

gramps as she calls him in the anchor of the family

that's cute George HW Bush is now the only former US president to turn 94

years young look how they're the cutest family and they're spending their summer

up at Kennebunkport and walkers point what he wanted it's you can actually go

there and you can see it's right there on the point and you can stand on the

street the public area and take a picture with the house in the background

so cool but it's way over there there Secret Service everywhere all right

Jillian thank you very much meanwhile straight ahead a middle school being

threatened by ms-13 now called a ticking time bomb and one local sheriff says

there's not much police can do to stop it

he will join Brian next Plus a little boy greets his mom at the airport but

she did not expect this kind of welcome home from prison

PRESIDENT TRUMP LIVE ON F&F | WH REACTION TO IG REPORT - Duration: 32:23.

thanks so much all right coming up next we're gonna

check in with Steve he is live at the White House Steve Easley you are about

to see something on the fox news channel that has never happened that we believe

in the history of a White House reporting and that is you know the

President of the United States is just outside the press room and it looks as

if he is enroute to our location he had tweeted earlier that he saw that

we were on the front lawn he was gonna make an unknown announce top and you

know what he's now it looks like he's moving it looks like they stopped him it

looks like they stopped him for a moment he they did ask him a couple of

questions and this is crazy the president United States is coming up the

driveway in front of the West Wing and I've got a feeling this this is going to

be really noisy as everybody's got a question and there is oh good Peter

Doocy who made a cameo earlier is it's bringing them this way that's awesome

every single reporter here at the White House is now heading to the Fox booth hi

mr. president mr. president

whoa over here you've got some excitement out on your lawn today hello

mr. president like so what brings you here oh we own already

we're on relax oh that's good what actually we're on every channel when I'm

shining trip over there I have to say no kidding I was good it was good how are

you I'm doing okay I was here for the baseball game how about does steve

scalise last night I think he's good how about the play the first play of the

game unbelievable is a great guy courageous courageous right you could

like you yeah sure haven't you stopped by alive I got some questions how is

mugged by the media they've got questions for you I'm hoping I can ask a

lot of the questions they're very very nice people you know the IG report came

out yesterday the FBI looks bad very bad Laura yeah well no it's Comey I mean

they were talking about combing on my FB I was telling me the people in the FBI

are incredible I would bet if you took a poll in the FBI I would win that poll by

more than anybody's ever won appalled but the top people were horrible you

look at what happened they were plotting against my election probably has never

happened like that in terms of intelligence in terms of anything else

they were actually plotting against my election the headline right now I'm

actually proud because I beat Clinton dynasty I beat bush dynasty and now I

guess hopefully I'm in the process of beating very dishonest intelligence

because what they did was incredible and a real insult to millions of people that

voted in that election on both sides the headline right now from The Wall Street

Journal DOJ Clinton report blast Comey and agents but finds no bias in

conclusion well the end result was wrong I mean there was total bias I mean when

you look at Peter struck and what he said about me when you look at Comey all

his moves so I guess you know his interest he was a pretty good report

then I say that the IG blew it at the very end with that statement because

when you read the report it was almost like Comey he goes point after point

about how guilty Hillary is and then he said but we're

not gonna do anything about it the report the IG report was a horror show I

thought that one sentence of conclusion was ridiculous what about apparently the

lovebirds talking about you we will stop it

yeah they said they will stop me well in the meantime the economy hit an all-time

high this morning never been better a jobless rate the lowest the best in 44

years just came out we're gonna have some incredible things were just

announcing very big tariffs today on China because China has been you know

look he's my friend President Xi he's a great man he's a

wonderful guy but at some point we have to straighten it out we lost 500 billion

dollars in trade deficits last year we can't do that instead of something like

25 percent being announced right now so maybe you have the first 10s that you

make what do you know what Journal all right you just beat the Wall Street

Journal by a lot well we're just going to do 50 billion dollars on 50 billion

dollars of high technology equipment and other things coming into the country

because so much of our secrets you know we have the great brainpower in Silicon

Valley and China and others steal those secrets and we're going to protect those

secrets those are crown jewels for this country and you know you read so much

about China you read so much about other countries we have the great brain pal

right in this country I'm proud to say and you're certainly a member of that

group I am an American what about the fact that there are a lot of people say

what's he doing he's gonna start a trade war if he slaps 25% on 50 billion for

China that's gonna be bad for Americans now the trade war was started many years

ago by them the United States lost well no there is

no trade war they've taken so much so last year 375 billion dollars in trade

deficit we had a 300 with China we had overall over 800 billion dollars over a

period of years each year close to 800 billion dollars in losses on trade not

gonna happen anymore it's not gonna happen can't happen a

week ago you were up in up in Canada and you met 57 people yes you know that

didn't end so well no hen did well for the United States that ended well well

the world community thinks the United States is turning our back on them but

your opinion is that it's you got elected to represent America and

American needs help we need protection everybody's taken advantage of us the

European Union made 151 million dollars on us last year the if you look at I

told you about China you look at Japan you look at South Korea you look at

somebody and we help these countries militarily on top of everything else I

mean you know at what point does it stop and when I left China it was absolutely

a fantastic meeting we left we hugged we kissed everybody was leaving and then I

get onto Air Force One and the prime minister up there Trudeau didn't think I

guess that we have any televisions on Air Force one but they have I think 21

televisions to some ridiculous number and so one sort and yet the room where

you have to understand we're hugging we're saying goodbye everybody's happy I

made changes to the agreement because I wanted it to be much better for the

United States I made changes we're all happy and then he got up and started

saying that he doesn't want to be pushed around by the United States well they

charge us almost 300 percent one dairy products so we can't do that have you

heard from any of the they all call me to wish me happy birthday yesterday

really and how was that flu is very not your birthday but the message from the

other side I took it very well right now they all called I mean I have great

friendships the new Prime Minister of Italy is great got to meet him very very

strong on immigration right like I am by the way

it seems that strong on immigration wins now sure this is the Democrats by the

way very weak on immigration if you notice when I came over there were all

saying about separating the families and that's a Democrat bill that's Democrats

wanting to do that and they could solve it very easily by getting together but

they think it's a good election point I think it's a horrible election point for

them ultimately Congress has got to change the law but at the same time mr.

president people say look you you rip these families apart even though it is

the law it's heartless that's the law and that's what the Democrats gave us

and we're willing to change it today if they want to get in and negotiate but

they just don't want to negotiate they're afraid of they're afraid of

security for a country they're afraid of a wall although I must tell you most

people now really they want the wall they want to stop the drugs they want to

stop a lot of people from coming in that shouldn't be here like ms-13 a lot of I

was up on Capitol Hill yesterday with Steve Scalise they were having a

leadership meeting that sounds like they're gonna take a vote on a couple of

different bills on immigration probably next week yeah one of them the good

light bill the other is something more moderate would you sign either one of

them looking at both of them I certainly wouldn't assigned them Omar what is the

bill I mean I need a bill that gives this country tremendous border security

I have to have that we have to get believes every in the wall we have to

have the world we're not have the wall there's no bill we have to have catch

and release we catch a criminal a real criminal a rough tough criminal we take

his name and then we release him and we say please show up to court in a couple

of months you know what the chances of getting up the quarter leg zero okay

it's crazy then we have the lottery program right

to call a lot of visa a diversity lottery program yeah or lottery visa

okay okay whatever they they have 15 inches still have every one of mez

lottery you know a lottery is that's when you pick names to come into the

country one when a country gives names they're not giving us their finest so

we're picking people it's not good we have to end that we have to end a couple

of them and we are going to be so secure as a country now with all of that being

said we're doing a great job ice we get ms-13 out by the thousands but we

shouldn't have to be going into towns in Long Island and other places and getting

them out you know it's almost like we're liberating towns it's incredible

you mentioned court regarding a legal proceeding you got Robert the mo the

molar investigation I know a little while ago Rudy Giuliani is out this

morning he said the investigation should go away time to fold up the tent or it's

time to investigate the investigators are you on the same page look you have

13 angry Democrats the 13 I call them 13 angry Democrats and others worked for

Obama for eight years I mean they have no Republican GOP knows it's a very

unfair situation but the IG report totally exonerates I mean if you look at

the results and if you look at the the head investigator is saying we have to

stop Trump from becoming president well Trump became president we have the best

economy today we've ever had we have much greater border security than we

ever would have had and when we do it when we have the laws change it'll be

like perfecto Rudy says that you should not talk to all her a lot of people say

that look they're getting people who say something a little bit off is it a nice

day well you know no it's not a great day whoops relied he goes you know got

problems whatever people are afraid of that and I would like to talk but it

seems to be very biased one of some of the texts and we're not going to quote

them who are very vicious vicious regarding people who support you vicious

I have the greatest supporters in the world by the way they're the smartest

that are hardest working they pay taxes they're incredible they're loyal I have

the bikers I have the construction workers I have them all I have the by

the way I have the FBI you go into the FBI and take a poll of the real FBI not

this scum on top not call me in that group of people the total things to

those are going well I don't know how Peter struck is

still working there to be honest with you it is even worse mr. president this

is your if you know what I've done and you know this I've told you this I'm so

involved great new Secretary of State just I have a fantastic relationship now

with North Korea you know where there were missiles being thought about people

aren't thinking about it anymore I said on the Department of Justice I

would stay uninvolved now I may get involved at some point if it gets worse

I say I'm staying uninvolved I'm letting this report go through I did nothing

wrong there was no collusion there was no obstruction I was on

Capitol Hill yesterday and there a number of congressional Republicans who

are you know they're trying to get some documents from your Department of

Justice your FBI tried to stay involved I may not stay involved there you know

uninvolved because they have to get the documents look I think everybody is

still wrong I think that rogue arad Rosenstein thinks that you have to get

the documents I really believe that I saw him yesterday gave me a briefing I

think that he believes you have to get the documents What did he say regarding

the IG report well he wasn't thrilled about it I mean you know you can't be if

you're in there now but it really was talking about the past it's not talking

about us it's talking about before us and it's talking about the election what

they did during the election was a disgrace it's probably never happened in

our country before and that's just the tip of the iceberg what's gonna happen

when we go further and there was total bias

I'm in total bias from what you've seen so far should James Comey be locked up

well look I would never want to get involved in that

certainly he they just seem like very criminal acts to me what he did was

criminal what he did was the terrible thing to the people what he did was so

bad in terms of our Constitution in terms of the well-being of our country

what he did was horrible should he be locked up let somebody make

a determination look at all the dishonest things that crooked Hillary

did look at look at what what's going on it's very sad sounds like he was using a

private email to he had a private he might that was of all the things that

wasn't to me maybe the most interesting but it was

probably the funniest she's got in big trouble for her private email James

Comey is using one that was a little bit of a surprise I have to say yeah from

what we've seen though regarding the IG report it sounds like Comey made some

bad judgments but nothing criminal well if you look at what happened and don't

forget all of these people like struck what he did was criminal struck and so

many others McCabe is no bias the end they all work for coming and call me

knew everything that was going on you think McCabe didn't tell him everything

McCabe told him everything in McCabe is up for criminal right now and now he's

justice and he's now suing and it's a total mess they're all going against

each other no I think Comey was the ringleader of this whole you know den of

thieves a den of thieves are you confident that either through the

congressional investigators or the IG report or new management at the FBI

things are gonna work out and we'll get to the bottom of all that I just don't

leave so I think it's happening it's happening slowly but it's happening I

think Christopher raising a very different from Comey which is what you

need you need different you need like the opposite and he's moving step by

step and you're gonna see a whole new very proud FBI I think that the Justice

Department will end up being great it's all gonna happen it's all gonna work out

but I tried to stay as much uninvolved as again you were very involved in going

to Singapore negotiating with Kim Jong on when you finally met him and sat

across the table for him you know we've heard a lot of bad things about

Rocketman yeah and suddenly you guys seem to be best friends we got along

very well we had a good chemistry I don't know if that's supposed to be

popular or politically correct to say but we really did we had good chemistry

you haven't had any rocket showed up in the air for seven months you haven't had

any research they just blew up their test site they're blowing up their

engine test site for ballistic missiles he's giving us back our great heroes who

died as you we get her the remains back and I had

I've had so many people so many parents so many fathers and daughters and sons

asking me please please this is during the campaign and after I say I say I

don't have exactly a good relationship anyway during the meeting and we really

did hit it off during that we know good chemistry you have since used some very

friendly words regret I think he but what am I supposed to do walk out and

say terrible I mean I got along with him very well we have good chemistry I asked

him the remains I'd like to get him he said yes we will do that they are

already starting to produce the remains of these great young soldiers who were

left in North Korea we're getting the remains and nobody thought that was

possible the way you've described things it sounds like you feel that he's on the

road to Dino absolutely so it's in the agreement it says he will denuclearize

you know it's funny when it's wrong and it's funny when you see the fake news

because and you guys aren't saying but I signed an agreement where we get

everything everything but they say Trump lost because he agreed to me

trumpeter know it's a funny ik you gotta watch your CNN I mean what what a fraud

it is go they go that's fun you hear me Trump agreed to me I say migrate to me

of course you got to agree to me if you don't agree to meet you know what you're

gonna have you're gonna have nuclear war that's what you're gonna have I have a

great relationship he gave us back our hostages I didn't

pay 1.8 billion right nothing but it was very smart that he did it he gave us

back our hostages he's giving us back the remains of probably 7500 soldiers

yeah there's a tremendous number of soldiers a tremendous number of em IAS

and you know just folks that never they've never been found

it's something and they by the way they know where many of these bodies are what

what is the stage of the meetings now I know you know Mike Pompeo is just

leaving there he was in South Korea many developments we're getting along great

with South Korea we're getting along great with China probably until this

morning because we just did a big tariff in China but that's okay because I have

a wonderful relationship with President Xi will all work it out

he understands it's unfair right they can't believe they got away with it for

so long Steve okay they can't believe it I mean they got away with it from 25

years I'm not just blaming Obama I'm bringing many presidents and leaders at

what point should have never happened at what point did the sanctions come off of

North Korea when we can be sure there will be no more nuclear how close are we

to that very close we're very close to getting it started he wants to do it he

wants to do something great with this country he wants to make his country

great so you are saying that you'll relieve the sanctions once whatever he's

way oh it's completely that stuff doesn't work anymore once we know that

it can't happen right and I'm telling you right now with

a relationship I have it's not gonna happen

hey you haven't had a rocket test in seven months

I was with Prime Minister I'll be another good friend of mine from Japan

I said when's the last time you had a rocket flying over Japan he said it has

not happened I said it won't happen don't worry about it are we close to

seeing mr. Kim here at the White House it could happen

I mean they're talking about that yesterday I would have him yeah I think

it's something that could happen yeah hey he's the head of a country and I

mean he is the strong head don't let anyone think anything different he

speaks and his people sit up at attention I want my people to do the

same well just before you met with him he cleaned house three of his top

generals some of the hardliners and hired then you go over there and you

know you took some heat over saluting one of the generals I think he fired at

least okay when you say he's right we know him I think maybe fired at least

fired maybe a nice word that's right I met a general he saluted me I saw that

in the back and I guess they're using that as another sound bite I mean you

know I think I'm being respectful to the general we are we have a very good

relationship with North Korea when I was talking to President Obama he

essentially was ready to go to war with North Korea he felt you had it almost go

to work and I did ask him have you spoken to him because no what is it you

think would be a good thing to speak to him maybe right okay because you know if

you go to war there you're not talking about a hundred thousand lives which is

a lot you're talking about 30 40 50 in lives sure soul is 30 miles off the

border they don't even need nuclear weapons to take out Seoul and they have

thousands of cannons they call them cannons if the big guns

thousands pointed right at Seoul we have a really great relationship for the

first time ever no presidents ever had this so I get hit by these fakes back

here not all of them some are phenomenal but I get hit because I went there I

gave him credibility I think it's great to give him credibility here's what we

got everything point after point after point

one point I think it was in the last week 10 days things are going faster in

Washington just saying but we're having a lot of fun right supposing Hillary got

elected instead of Trump you think it would be so exciting would be way down

number one show in the morning folks well thank you I've heard you say videos

in cable news that's right it was within the last actually also the uncapable

knows you for doing pretty we're doing okay second thanks for dropping polite

paramedics well the other study you would mentioned the NFL players and the

you know some taking a knee and you would like to hear some of the stories

of people who you should portent and you mentioned professional athletes have you

heard from any of them no I haven't heard you know they are all saying oh it

has nothing to do with the flag it's the way we've been treated in the meantime

they're making 15 million dollars here look I'm all for the athletes I think

it's great I love athletics I love sports but they shouldn't get the

politics involved when you're in a stadium and they broadcast that national

you gonna stand and you got to be proud and you've got to have your hand up and

you've got to do everything that's right and then go out and play really tough

football and once you leave that stadium go and do whatever you want to do run

for office to do whatever but I did say you know I have this tremendous power of

pardon and Kim Kardashian came in and and there were woman 22 years in jail

people can't believe that you would be listening to Kim Kardashian I did I

don't know her and I met her and she was really nice I have to say and very

capable but she came in and she said this is a very unfair situation

I looked at it I agree 20 she's in there for 22 years she's got another 20 years

to serve and you have drug dealers that are doing big stuff and they get a

two-month sentence okay it was just unfair and I thought it was a beautiful

scene when that woman left prison and ran over to it looked like a grand kids

it was a couple of big strong guys big strong guys wonderful women they're all

hugging kiss and everyone's crying not to me that was a beautiful scene well

she thanked me but you know thank him because I wouldn't have known about it

and I told the NFL players I mean indirectly I said you have somebody

disagree because they're saying people are grouped okay let me know about it

I'll look at it if they're aggrieved I will partner I'll get them out I'm

shocked you haven't heard right I don't think I've stolen not maybe they've

called the staff but I have not personally heard from one speaking of

the staff because I don't know if it's a real issue I don't think it's a real

issue Sarah Huckabee Sanders your press

secretary oh she's she took a lot of heat yesterday from the people behind

you like she did I didn't know that well she did there was some suggestion that

maybe she'd be leaving the White I don't think so you know and look and at a

certain point everyone sort of leaves you have to leave I'm sort of just

saying I'm like a chef just keep going being think but Sarah loves this job and

she's announced not with me I read that same report somebody put it out I think

it was CBS when she said it's a false report but it's fake news but at some

point I'm sure she'll leave like everybody leaves and we'll get somebody

else but Sarah's done a fantastic job no I don't think she's leaving what do you

make of that she was very insulted that they came out and said that I don't

think she's leaving what do you make of the back-and-forth between her and the

press because sometimes it gets well I think the press I think the press treat

Sarah very unfairly that white house cars I think some of them feel she's not

answering their questions they're gonna ask it again and as well I gave a press

conference in Singapore that was like an hour and a half and that was like the

biggest press group I've ever seen and I answered every single question I'd

answer anybody's question I guess that's not supposed to be in my job I'm here

with you today you're giving me a lot of well thank you very much of interesting

questions but but Steve I think sarah is really a good person

and a nice person very capable she's got a lot of the father's genes cuz their

father is great Mike Huckabee don't forget he got up there and that debate

stage and he said nobody's gonna beat Trump and I even decided to where he was

running and I even decided to wear a trump tie and I said I love that guy I

loved him okay but Mike is a very talented guy and Sarah's a very talented

person but they treat her very badly what they did to Sarah at the White

House Correspondents and now the only difference I would have done I would

have walked out I thought she should have walked out instead of sitting there

but she took the high road she took a very high road

sometimes you don't take such a high road we had stuart varney

on our air the way he is great I love Stuart that little part he's well I love

him every day that he's right well he knows what he's talking well he

suggested that the the next quarter GDP could be 4% well they're predicting you

know the Atlanta Fed predicted 4.8% I think you know it's a lot don't figure

out when I got elected I took this thing over was one point two and each point is

three trillion dollars and ten million jobs you know appoints people who sit

home long it's a point what difference does it make well it was one point two

and it was going down you probably saw this morning I put out they would have

raised your taxes instead of cut your taxes and they were going to put on more

regulations the last thing we need is regulations I actually think my

regulation cutting had more of an impact on the economy than the tax cuts when

you were running you said for every regulation we enact I will cut too right

but you didn't cut too right you're cutting a much bigger number 22 it

turned out 22 and and by the way you need regulation

I want the cleanest water in the world I want the cleanest air in the world I

want that air to be so perfect and our air now is better than it was two years

ago with all of the talk and all of the nonsense clean crystal clean water clean

air but I also want our companies to be competitive so they can go around the

world and compete and we were shutting down companies over the environment and

they weren't doing anything wrong and that's job right there are some who say

look the EPA is relaxing a lot of rules that

are out there to protect people only rules that don't mean anything or rules

that are duplicative you know rules leave us well not only that I mean some

of them you have nine different times you have to get the same thing approved

by different agencies to build a highway in this country takes 19 years of

approvals I have it down to two years and you'll get rejected if it's wrong if

it's environmentally bad but I have it down to two years I want to get it down

to one year and that's indicative of everything else to a company comes in

from China from Japan they want to spend a tremendous amount of money on building

a plant or something right take some seven years to get a permit and they

don't do it because it's too long I have it down to one year and even faster now

if they're wrong we know immediately you know you don't have to wait seven years

how about going through the process seven years and getting rejected how

about a highway that spends 19 years getting approved and then in the last

vote they get a 3-2 vote no that happens often times and they spent hundreds of

millions of dollars on the approval not gonna happen anymore

I saw a headline on Drudge I think this morning unemployment at a forty four

year long you know Drudge is great by the way Matt Drudge

is a great gentleman who really I don't know he's got an ability to capture the

stories that people want to see but that was the number one story on Drudge

44-year low unemployment and and I saw that in very big letters actually and I

said that makes me very proud another story out there was this past

week is while you did meet with Kim Jong on it sounds like you and mr. Putin may

be sitting down sometime soon would what can you tell us we may and and it

started because a reporter shouted to me should Putin be in the g7 I said I

should be in the g8 it used to be the g8 few years ago and I think President

Obama didn't like him even though they gave advance notice about the election

to Obama people forget about that you know Obama was told by the CIA or

somebody FBI about Russia he didn't do anything about it how come he never gets

blamed in September just before the election my election he should have done

because maybe I would have won by more right yesterday a big day not only did

the AG report come out but it was your birthday this man get any good presents

I got a lot of good kisses I had a lot of phone calls from people that I would

never have gotten phone calls from I get phone calls I get the kisses from from a

beautiful wife okay who was really doing great she's doing great but and my kids

yeah you know we saw a story I think you as you were heading to the chopper you

said you know she can't fly for a month one month well the doctor said don't fly

for a month but she'll be able to virtue her because she's on the Maui she's in

great shape she's like perfect she she and somebody said did she have a

facelift no did she have this tissue that I mean the speculation even after

the doctors gave a full and these are White House doctors they give you know

they give really straight stuff but no she's doing fantastically well we had

your son Don jr. on our show and he said he was not getting you anything for your

birthday because you've got everything well I just want to have a successful

country I'll be honest I this is so intensive we've done more I don't say

this in a breaking way actually some of the haters actually say this we've done

more in 500 days so now it's 510 days than any 500 day president first term by

far yeah and that's what I want to do I want to really you know I got elected

make America great again very simple make America great again that's what

we're doing and we are respected around the world you take a look at Iran

they're not talking about Iran taking over the Middle East I took that crazy

deal that Obama gave him away Iran is not look into the Mediterranean anymore

you know they had to go through a lot of territory to get there they're looking

to survive but I will tell you someday soon they're gonna come back and they're

gonna want to negotiate a deal and we'll make a deal but they were nasty they

were very very nasty and they had to be stopped I took away the deal and I think

they've been treating America with much more respect and I have to say that you

don't see the little boats circling our boats anymore do you notice that and

remember with Obama you'd have this beautiful destroyer you'd have this

Annapolis captain on the boat and he's sitting there you could see

he's like a boiler waiting to explode because he was given orders and they

were circling us with those boats right and he was eschew the hell he wanted to

harassing our hard guys and and he wanted to shoot the hell out of them and

you don't see that stuff anymore by the way when they captured our 10 sailors

and made them get on the knees you're not gonna see that anymore I hear the

bells in the distance we're coming up on 9 o'clock in the east how are you gonna

celebrate Father's Day work I'm gonna work I'm gonna actually be calling North

Korea I'm gonna be calling I just tapped now I have a call from your friend from

fan France Emmanuel what are you tell him I'm gonna tell him

you have to treat us better on trade European Union's not treating us well on

trade I love trade you know trades always been my thing even 20 years ago

when I'd be talking to you trade was always my thing it's probably I'm

getting a lot of credit for what we're doing foreign but I think my best thing

is gonna be trade we have to straighten out our trade you know we're doing well

despite our bad trade deals after we do our trade deals when you see the numbers

mr. president I don't think in the history

anybody ever know that the sitting president come out on the Northland

never it's never happened yeah Secret Service is thrilled as I stand here on

the way look at these guys if they're ready that I feel very secure you know

this is definitely your son by the way it's fine I looked at him hey I look at

him there's no question that's your son that's very kind of you all right mr.

president thank you very much to actually because you're in we're in the

golf business right now we're gonna throw it to Bill so is reporting live

from the US Open and Bill's doing a good job till he knows golf there you go I've

been watching good bill do it

thank you mister

former basketball star Dennis Rodman broke down in tears while being

interviewed on television about the historic summit between President Donald

Trump and North Korean leader Kim jong-un but I kept my head up high

brother I knew things were change I knew it I was the only one I never had no one

to hear me I didn't know what had to see me but I took those bullets I took all

that came at me and I'm still standing the NBA Hall of Famer who appeared on

Celebrity Big Brother in 2006 wore red make America great again hat and

sunglasses during an emotional appearance on CNN the 57 year old

claimed the president is so proud of him for his role in the extraordinary event

despite officials previously saying he would play no role in negotiations

Rodman is one of the few Westerners to have met Kim during visits to the

secretive country and landed in Singapore ahead of the meeting between

the two leaders on Tuesday which was aimed at eliminating North Korea's

nuclear weapons program during his interview Rodman repeatedly called the

summit amazing before breaking down in dabbing tears as they rolled down his

face he revealed he knew nothing about North Korea when he first arrived there

and originally thought he was only in the country to play a basketball and

make the people happy he added it turned out so much more

bigger than what I thought I just fell in love with the country Rodman who has

also met mr. Trump claimed the White House had already called him to say the

president is so proud of you and described Mr Kim as a big kid the

athlete bonded with mr. Kim over a love of basketball and appeared on mr.

Trump's Celebrity Apprentice in the bizarre interview Rodman also said in my

heart and soul when I first went to North Korea I was very honored to be

selected to go err once I went to North Korea I didn't

really understand what the whole situation was as far as being over there

when I met Kim jong-un I didn't know what to expect but once I got to know

the culture over there I felt at home the former basketball star took a swipe

at former US President Barack Obama saying he hadn't given him the time of

day he was referring to his efforts to act as a mediator between Kim and the

Obama administration which rebuffed him Rodman described how he was ridiculed

for meeting Kim in later predicting he would be an effective peacemaker Trump

and North Korean leader have met for the first time to discuss ways to end a

nuclear standoff on the Korean Peninsula with Kim promising major changes afoot

Kim said the world will see major change in that he and mr. Trump had decided to

leave the past behind he earlier described their meeting as a

good prelude to peace mr. Trump added on Tuesday that he absolutely would invite

the North Korean leader to the White House the roughly 40 minute meeting in

Singapore went better than anybody could have expected according to trump who was

pictured holding up a document bearing both leaders signatures the documents

contents are yet to be revealed

Donald Trump Was Just Double-Crossed By The Last Person He Ever Expected - Duration: 3:02.

The swamp has unleashed criminal investigations as their chief method of forcing Donald Trump

from office.

Federal prosecutors are terrorizing Trump associates in the hopes that the threat of

jail will force them to betray Trump.

And they may have struck pay-dirt as Donald Trump just got double-crossed by the last

person he ever expected.

Trump lawyer Michael Cohen has been the target of prosecutors ever since the FBI raided his

home and offices back in April.

Special counsel Robert Mueller tipped off federal prosecutors in New York to Cohen's

business dealings concerning a taxi medallion he co-owned, as well his payments to women

who allegedly had affairs with Trump.

Mueller and other prosecutors are scheming to use Cohen to further the attempts to drive

Trump from office.

And it appears Cohen may have flipped.

ABC News broke the story that sources close to Cohen believe he changed his legal team

over his desire to cooperate with investigators.

But is this what really happened?

Vanity Fair's Gabriel Sherman claimed: "Person close to Cohen says he hasn't flipped yet,

"he's sending up a smoke signal to Trump: I need help."

Cohen had previously written that he would never betray President Trump:

"A PERSON WHO DESERVES MY LOYALTY RECEIVES IT."- JOYCE MAYNARD I WILL ALWAYS PROTECT

OUR (PRESIDENT)"

Conservative commentator Erick Erickson theorized that Cohen changed his legal team because

his initial team of lawyers were not criminal defense attorneys.

Erickson believes Cohen did not switch his legal team in order to cooperate, but to fight.

One thing that is clear is this will have no impact on the Russia investigation.

Despite multiple fake news stories that used the Christopher Steele dossier as the basis

for claiming Cohen traveled to Prague to collude with Russians, Cohen has provided evidence

that he was in California visiting colleges with his son at the time.

Cohen wrote:

"BAD REPORTING, BAD INFORMATION AND BAD STORY BY SAME REPORTER PETER STONE (MCCLATCHY,

DC) NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES OR WAYS THEY WRITE IT, I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO PRAGUE.

I WAS IN LA WITH MY SON.

PROVEN!"

Federal prosecutors first goal will be to determine if Cohen possesses any smoking gun

evidence to implicate Trump in campaign finance violations for payments to Stormy Daniels

and other women.

In addition, government investigators would employ Cohen as the gateway into investigating

Trump's financial empire.

Even if both of these avenues turn out to be dead ends, prosecutors will be looking

to flip Cohen so he will provide a diet of embarrassing personal details about Trump

that could be leaked to the press during the midterm elections.

The media could then whip these stories up in a series of "October surprises" that

the Democrats would use to boost their chances to win back Congress where they can finally

launch impeachment proceedings.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this story.

Trump nominee for South Korea ambassador backs 'pause' in military exercises - Duration: 2:39.

Donald Trump's nominee for ambassador to South Korea, a decorated military man... has backed

the U.S. President's idea of suspending major combined drills.

Harry Harris, described it as an option worth exploring... while denuclearization talks

continue.

Lee Seung-jae shares with us the admiral's remarks.

Shortly after his historic summit in Singapore with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un,...

U.S. President Donald Trump announced he might halt the joint military exercises between

South Korea and the U.S.,... a move long sought by the North.

Siding with Trump on the issue is the president's latest nominee for ambassador to South Korea,...

Admiral Harry Harris.

In a Senate hearing on Thursday,... Harris,... who recently stepped down as head of the U.S.

Pacific Command, agreed with the idea of a "pause."

"The whole landscape has shifted, and I believe that we should give exercises, major exercises,

a pause to see if (North Korean leader) Kim Jong Un is in fact serious about his part

in negotiations."

Harris also said he believes sanctions on North Korea should stay in place, while denuclearization

talks continue, echoing earlier remarks by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Seoul,...

who said tough sanctions would remain until Pyongyang has verifiably abandoned its nuclear

weapons program.

The U.S. ambassador post in Seoul has been vacant since Trump took office in January

2017,... and as talks continue between South and North Korea and between the U.S. and North

Korea, the post is seen as more important than ever.

As the nominee to become President Trump's first ambassador to South Korea,... Harris

said he feels optimistic about the future of the Korean Peninsula.

"I've said before that we can be hopeful and we can even be optimistic as long as we are

realistic also and I'm convinced that the administration has that realism at heart as

we move forward in this new place that we're in."

Born to a Japanese mother and an American father,... Harris became the first Asian-American

to lead the U.S. Navy.

His father -- a Korean War veteran -- helped train South Koreans in the southern coastal

city of Jinhae.

With his decorated military background and his connections to Korea and the wider Asian

region,... Harris has a strong chance of becoming the next U.S. ambassador to South Korea.

The hope is that his expertise could further smooth the path to peace on the Korean Peninsula.

Interesting Facts about Donald Trump| Interesting Facts - Duration: 10:08.

Donald Trump has won the US elections and now he is the President of United States.

He has been a fixture in business, media, and entertainment for years.

Since he threw his hat in the presidential ring, however, the media coverage about him

has been nearly non-stop.

The Donald has lived a long and colorful life and there may still be some things people

don't know about him.

The following are 12 amazing facts about Donald J. Trump.

1.

Donald Trump has Filed for Bankruptcy Four Times.

While Mr. Trump hasn't personally filed for bankruptcy, his various businesses have

on four separate occasions.

Back before he was a presidential hopeful or even a reality television star, Trump was

famous as a real estate tycoon.

One of his specialties was building and operating incredible casinos and hotels.

In 1991 the Trump Taj Mahal went through Chapter 11 bankruptcy with the Trump Plaza following

the same path in 1992.

They reorganized in 1995 into what was called Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts.

This company, in turn, went into bankruptcy in 2004.

It eventually came back renamed Trump Entertainment.

In 2009, during the global recession, Trump went through Chapter 11 for a fourth time

with Trump Entertainment filing for bankruptcy.

2.

It Was Rumored That Trump Once Dated Anna Nicole Smith.

Trump married Ivana Zelnickova Winklmayr, a former fashion model, in 1977.

They would divorce in 1991.

He would later marry Marla Maples in 1993, with whom he already had a child.

Between his first two marriages Donald Trump supposedly dated model and celebrity Anna

Nicole Smith.

There are photos of the couple together but his relationship was likely little more than

a fling.

After dating Trump, Anna Nicole went on to marry J. Howard Marshall II in 1994 when she

was 26 and he was 89.

3.

Trump's Not Only Mastered the Art of the Deal But of the Lawsuit.

The only thing Donald Trump seems to like more than wheeling and dealing is filing lawsuits.

New York Times author Timothy O'Brien was sued by Trump because he accused O'Brien

of misrepresenting his wealth.

Trump had said he was worth billions while O'Brien said in a book he had written about

Mr. Trump that the business mogul's worth was between $150 and $250 million.

The lawsuit was dismissed by the court in 2009.

In 2015 Trump sued Univision because they didn't want to air the beauty pageants he

represented because of comments Trump had made about illegal immigrants.

Through the years Trump has filed a number of other lawsuits including the one against

hacker, J. Taikwok Yung over domain names that included the word "trump" in them.

Trump lost that particular lawsuit.

4.

Donald Trump Abstains Completely from Alcohol.

While many of Donald Trump's casinos and hotels may be flowing with an endless supply

of alcohol, Mr. Trump insists that he doesn't indulge in any of it.

Not only does Donald Trump not drink alcohol, but he's stated that he has never drunk

at any time throughout his life.

The reason he abstains is both personal and sad.

His older brother had suffered from alcoholism for years before passing away from the disease.

It has been reported that Fred Trump warned his younger brother not to end up like he

did.

Trump has not only avoided alcohol but doesn't smoke or do drugs either.

5.

Donald Trump Hit it Big with the Television Show "The Apprentice".

Trump became the star as well as the executive director of the NBC reality show "The Apprentice"

in 2004.

Even though Trump was already extremely wealthy, he was paid $375,000 for each episode of the

show.

The show was so successful that a new format was introduced that was called "The Celebrity

Apprentice."

This was launched after 6 seasons of the original show.

The main premise of the show involves contestants attempting to earn a spot in one of Trump's

many organizations.

Trump is probably glad he didn't listen to his agent's advice at the time.

His agent told him not to do "The Apprentice" because business shows never worked.

Trump fired that agent not long after the show took off.

6.

Trump Actually Shaved WWE Owner Vince McMahon's Head.

During the "Battle of the Billionaires" both Trump and McMahon selected players to

represent them in the ring.

Trump and McMahon made a bet in which the person whose representative lost would have

to shave his head.

The representative for Trump won the wrestling match.

He therefore took part in shaving McMahon's head.

The epic head-shaving took place in Detroit at Wrestlemania 23 in 2007.

This hasn't been Trump's only connection to WWE.

Through the years he has been spotted in the audience at various wrestling events.

7.

Trump Claims He's Never Used an ATM.

When making a visit to "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" Trump said that he has

never used an ATM machine.

That may surprise some people, but when it comes to banking transactions Trump probably

has accountants and assistants taking care of these types of things.

Perhaps he's old school and actually goes into the bank to withdraw large sums of cash.

It would seem to be Trump's style to carry a large amount of cash around.

8.

The Donald Has a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

After the success of the reality show "The Apprentice" Donald Trump received a star

on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The star was unveiled on January 16, 2007.

The address where the star can be found is 6803 Hollywood Blvd.

Ronald Reagan is the only person in history to have been President of the United States

and have a star on the Walk of Fame.

Trump is trying to become the second in history to achieve this goal.

9.

Donald Trump Previously Owned a Football Team.

In 1983 Trump decided to branch out and decided to buy a football team.

It was reported that Trump bought the team for $9 million.

He said he bought it for $5 million.

The team was part of the United States Football League (USFL).

Trump's team became one of the best in the USFL but within a few years the spring football

league no longer existed.

The demise of the USFL came about after the league's lawsuit with the NFL.

The USFL won the lawsuit but only received a check for $3.76 after attorney fees and

court costs were paid.

The check has never been cashed.

10.

Donald Trump is a Social Media Fanatic.

Donald Trump loves to stay involved on social media, and Twitter in particular.

It's been reported that he sends approximately 372 Tweets each month.

That averages out to about 12 a day!

He's also prominent in other areas of social media with millions of followers on Facebook,

Instagram, and Vine.

Undoubtedly Trump's savvy use of social media has played a part in his political success.

11.

Trump Owned 14,000 Apartments by the Time He Was 27.

Donald Trump supposedly took a small $1 million "loan" from Dad to get started on his

ventures.

He eventually built the Trump Management Corporation almost single-handedly and ultimately turned

it into an empire.

In 1973, when Trump was just 27-years-old, the real estate tycoon owned 14,000 apartments

that were located throughout Staten Island, Queens, and Brooklyn.

12.

Trump Even Had His Own Game.

Donald Trump had his own board game from the 80's.

The smallest denomination of money from the game was $10 million.

The original board game came out in 1989 and was manufactured by Milton Bradley.

Fifteen years later an updated version of the game was released.

The new edition has the phrase "I'm back and you're fired!"

Reviews have stated that it's similar to Monopoly but can be played in a much shorter

time.

If you've been fired you can play "The Donald" card to get back in the game.

The object of the game, of course, is to make the most money.

Some Trump fans may even be hoping for another updated version that includes a political

theme.

Federal Judge Drops Crushing Anvil On Mueller Investigation, Delivers Trump Victory

Nice to see not all judges are partisan and some are starting to wake up and sounding

the alarm.

Yesterday a Federal judge in Virginia expressed alarming skepticism about the actions of special

counsel Robеrt Mueller's investigation in the bank fraud case against former Trump

campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

To the point that he even said what everyone has known from day one, that he believeѕ

that Mueller's motivation is to oust President Donald Trump from office.

This all went down at a tense hearing in a government court in Virginia on Friday where

U.S. Locale Judge T.S. Ellis III strongly addressed whether Mueller surpassed his specialist

in recording assess and bank extortion charges against Trump's previous campaign director,

Paul Manafort since all he was gathered to be doing is examining Russian collision between

the Trump Campaign and the Kremlin.

"The vernacular is to sing," Ellis said.

"You don't really care about Mr. Manafort," the judge said.

"You really care about what information Mr. Manafort can give you to lead to Mr. Trump"

and his eventual prosecution or impeachment.

"It's unlikely you're going to persuade me the special counsel has unfettered power

to do whatever he wants," Ellis, who was appointed by Republican President Ronald Reagan,

said at a hearing on Manafort's motion to dismiss the Virginia charges."

Ellis afterward included that it showed up that with these charges Mueller and company

are attempting to bully Manafort into flipping on Trump and giving them data which may be

utilized against the president.

Manafort served as Trump's campaign manager for five months and also faces federal charges

in Washington.

Where he is being accused of conspiring to launder money and failing to register as a

foreign agent when he lobbied for the pro-Russia Ukrainian government.

Something which Democrat Party operatives do regularly but get away with it.

Manfort previously lost a civil suit making similar complaints about the special counsel's

investigation last week.

Manafort had filed a lawsuit in Washington claiming Rosenstein and Mueller exceeded their

authority in charging him with alleged crimes he said had nothing to do with the 2016 campaign.

DC District Judge Amy Berman Jackson dismissed that lawsuit, saying a civil case was "not

the appropriate vehicle" for objecting to either past or future actions by a prosecutor.

Here is more on this story via Reuters:

"A WITCH HUNT"

Trump enthusiastically read the judge's comments out loud to his audience during a

speech to the National Rifle Association in Dallas, saying they echoed his longstanding

views.

He called Ellis "a very respected person."

"I've been saying that for a long time.

It's a witch hunt," he said of Mueller's probe into his campaign's ties to Russia

and whether it colluded with Russians to interfere in the 2016 election.

He also distanced himself from Manafort, calling him a nice guy but saying "he worked for

me for a very short period of time."

The sharp tone of the judge's comments could spell trouble for Mueller's case against

Manafort and put even greater pressure on Rosenstein to rein in the Russia investigation.

But several legal experts cautioned against reading too much into the comments.

"I think there are some judges that believe that in being evenhanded, they should give

the winner a hard time, too," said James Trusty, a former federal prosecutor now with

the law firm Ifrah Law.

"At the end of the day, it's very dangerous to read the tea leaves from comments from

the bench."

Lisa Kern Griffin, a professor at Duke University School of Law and a former federal prosecutor,

said it is unlikely Ellis will dismiss the charges against Manafort because bringing

them was "almost certainly" within Mueller's broad authority.

If Ellis dismissed the charges, they would likely be reinstated by an appeals court,

Griffin said.

"I think Judge Ellis may just be putting to the government through its paces," she

said.

"That is not uncommon."

The hearing on Friday was the third time Manafort has tried to get charges against him dismissed.

A civil case alleging the Justice Department's order appointing Mueller was overly broad

was tossed last month.

He also asked for dismissal of the Washington-based criminal charges on similar legal grounds,

but there has not been a ruling.

Ellis did not rule on the motion to dismiss on Friday.

Ellis asked why a run-of-the-mill bank fraud case with no "reference to any Russian individual

or Russian bank" could not be handed over to the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern

District of Virginia.

As an example, he pointed to the FBI probe into Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen,

and said the special counsel had turned that matter over to federal prosecutors in Manhattan.

Dreeben declined to discuss the Cohen case.

Ellis also complained that the bulk of that August memo he received was highly redacted.

He told Mueller's office to take two weeks to consult with U.S. intelligence agencies

to see whether they would sign off so that he can personally review a sealed, unredacted

version of the memo.

Dreeben told him the redacted portions did not pertain to the Manafort case.

"I'll be the judge," Ellis said.
