Trump news on Youtube Jun 30 2018

Mr Trump is set to meet the Queen during his trip to the UK, which is scheduled to commence on July 13, and US ambassador Robert Wood Johnson has confirmed his trip will include an audience with Britain's Head of State – although Buckingham Palace has not commented

And Mr Fitzwilliams, the former editor of The International Who's Who, said staff close to Her Majesty were certain to be approaching the meeting, which he believes will happen at Windsor Castle, with some trepidation

He said: "They are dealing with somebody who is completely unpredictable and no doubt there is a certain amount of concern about how it will all go

"The actual visit will probably pass off with lots of controversy but no actual problems

"The security aspect will be gigantic, obviously."The problem with Mr Trump is that you never absolutely know what he is going to do

"I don't think the Queen herself will be concerned _ she's used to meeting a large number of different Presidents, as well as other dignitaries

"There is a story, possibly apocryphal, that when the Ceaușescus visited in 1978, she detested them so much she actually hid behind a bush in the gardens of Buckingham Palace to avoid them

"She has literally seen every kind of monarch and leader and nothing will phase her

"Nevertheless, I think her staff are probably likely to be looking forward to getting this one out of the way

"Mr Trump's visit is a precursor to his official State visit, the date of which has yet to be fixed

After Prime Minister Theresa May extended the invitation in 2016, a Parliamentary petition was launched which stated: "Donald Trump should be allowed to enter the UK in his capacity as head of the US Government, but he should not be invited to make an official State Visit because it would cause embarrassment to Her Majesty the Queen

" It quickly attracted the 100,000 signatures necessary to be debated in Parliament, with this happening on February 20, 2017, with 1,863,708 people having signed it as of today

With Mr Trump due to arrive in less than three weeks' time, details of his visit remain scarce

It is unclear as to whether he will meet the Royal Princes for example, or Prince Harry's new American wife Meghan Markle, a staunch supporter of Mr Trump's opponent Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential election

However, widespread protests are anticipated over the New Yorker's controversial immigration policies and comments about women

Maria Bartiromo one-on-one Interview With President Trump 10/22/2017 - Duration: 40:01.

mr. president thanks so much for sitting down with me today thank you here we are

and the week that the Dow Jones Industrial Average just hit twenty three

thousand five and a third trillion dollars of market value created since

your election and largely because of this anticipation and hope that your

policies will get into implemented tell us where we stand on the tax plan right

now we're doing very well we will we had a fantastic vote as you know and with

budget is indirectly passed now it's going to go through a little bit of an

iteration but it's going to end up I think again doing very well and I think

we're going to get our taxes I think it's gonna be well hopefully before the

end of the year but maybe much sooner than that you know there's a great

spirit for it people want to see it and I call it tax cut so it is tax reform

also but I call it tax cuts it'll be the biggest cuts ever in the history of this

country and I think that this tremendous appetite this tremendous spirit Ford not

only by the people we're dealing with in Congress but for the people out there

that want to see something $5,000 almost it can be $5,000 average per individual

per per group and so I'm really looking forward to it let's see what happens it

could be quite historic I know that this weekend is the 31st anniversary of when

President Reagan last instituted tax reform Sunday that's a big deal exactly

do you think you have the votes I think we have the votes I think that Rand Paul

actually is going to vote for the tax cuts I think that other people you know

we had tremendous enthusiasm this time health care I was told was tougher but

it was close I mean so far I would say it's not even a contest and I will tell

you speaking of health care I believe we're going to get that also it'll be in

the form of block grants to the different states and it'll be a

wonderful Health Care it'll be a tremendous health care managed properly

in smaller doses where you can really do it much more individually so I think

we're going to get that also in a little bit later probably in three or four

months from now but I do believe we'll have that long before the election in

eight as far as taxes are concerned you see

what's happening it's really doing well great enthusiasm yeah you showered on

the health care bipartisan plan a bit right from Lamar Alexander and petty

Mari well I've looked at it very very strongly and pretty much we can do

almost what they're getting I think he is a tremendous person I don't know

senator Murray I hear very very good things but I know that Lamar Alexander

is a fine man and he is really in there to do good for the people we can do

pretty much what we have to do without you know the secretary has tremendous

leeway in the under the Obama plans one of the things that they did because it

was so messed up they had no choice but to give the secretary way because they

knew it had to be he or she would have to be changing all the time and we can

pretty much do whatever we have to do just the way it is so this was going to

be temporary prior to repeal and replace we're going to repeal and replace

Obamacare and I think we actually have the votes people are criticizing me for

saying that I think we actually have the votes for that you know we were

basically one short and I think we're gonna have the votes for that also Marie

yeah I would ask you about that because even your supporters say you know he's

got fantastic policies we want to see this through but the bickering and the

feuding actually gets in the way so obviously the feuding with Senator

corker I think there's a personal thing going on between you and Senator McCain

do you worry that this bickering and feuding gets in the way of your agenda

no and sometimes it helps to be honest with you so we'll see what happens at

the end but I think actually sometimes it helps sometimes it gets people to do

what they're supposed to be doing and you know that's the way it is I just

want what's right and I think for the most part they want what's right too so

we'll see what happens but I do believe we have the votes for health care at the

appropriate time and I think that we're going to have the votes for taxes and I

will say the fact that health care is so difficult I think makes the taxes easier

the Republicans want to get it done it's a tremendous tax code I mean

especially for the middle class and especially for business we have you know

we're losing our companies we have companies leaving and I have to say

since I've been elected that's really stopped it's really slowed down there's

a tremendous enthusiasm for business in this country so a lot of things have

changed then you see the job creation as well this year has been so fantastic

they can't get this tax bill done this year should they forego Thanksgiving and

Christmas should they be here if they don't have a bill on your desk by

Thanksgiving well I think they should and I think they will I think a lot of

things are happening I list you know that's gonna be right after that but I

don't even like them leaving but I will say this I want to get it by the end of

the year but I'd be very disappointed if it took that long it could be

substantially less than that depending on what happens when we send the bill

back to the house you know they'll send it back and people are gonna go and you

know make 200 suggestions as opposed to maybe no suggestions because it's a

great bill it's going to be a great bill and we're adjusting we're adjusting so

that there's no way that the middle class doesn't greatly benefit every once

in a while there's a method under which you know it could be that some people in

the middle class won't benefit as much as we want them to benefit and we're

making certain adjustments but I think we're gonna have it sooner rather than

later this week and said you are insisting that they have a fourth

bracket it's on your insistence that they have a fourth bracket I know that

you're very focused on the middle class but do you want to raise taxes on the

rich for the fourth bracket well he really said that on the basis that I

wanted it or was thinking about it because I want to make sure that middle

class gets taken care of so in that way yes but actually we do have four

brackets because we have a zero bracket and people aren't including that so that

would actually make it a fifth bracket as opposed to an eighth bracket on the

other on the other side on the other way I call that our competition which is the

competition of the past no I think that when when Paul says that we may not have

that but I would rather do that than do anything to hurt the middle class let's

see that's what I don't understand and I followed your policies really closely

the the state and local income tax deduction elimination you take that away

and then you go to a fifth bracket or fourth bracket however you want to say

it and you get a higher rate for the top earners if the top earners pay 80% of

the taxes why are you so afraid to cut taxes on the top earners I think this

look you know I am very happy with the way I've done prior to this in my

civilian life all right other people well it's about me and representing rich

people let's say representing you know being representative of rich people was

very interesting to me Bob Kraft was down he was very nice he owns the

Patriots he gave me a Super Bowl ring a month ago

which was very nice yeah that's right but he left this beautiful ring and I

immediately give it to the White House and they put it someplace and that's the

way this but he said to me he's a good man he said to me you have to do us all

a favor give the tax decrease to the middle class we don't need it we don't

need it we don't want it give it to the middle class and I've had many people

very wealthy people tell me the same thing I've had very few say I want more

I want more they really want to see you know the middle class has really not

done very well over the last long period of time and so when Paul mentions maybe

one more category which I'd rather not have it may not happen but the only

reason I would have and he does say this is very plain nobody said is if for any

reason I feel the middle class is not being properly taken care of much more

of my exclusive interview with President Trump in just a moment including the

president's take on the corporate tax rate whether the end of NAFTA may be

near follow me on Twitter at Maria Bartiromo at Sunday futures let us know

what you would like to hear stay with us we're looking ahead this morning on

Sunday morning futures right here

well welcome back more of my exclusive interview right now with President Trump

moments ago we heard what the President had to say about individual tax rates

but the corporate rate will be critical and that certainly will be critical for

the economy I asked him about that we need the corporate tax down you know

maybe is the most important and we have a lot of most importance but bring it

down from 35 down to 20 percent that's a massive it was the biggest that we've

ever done it's a big deal on the corporate rate for sure it's a big deal

for companies it's a big deal for investment I think one of the other ones

is expensing you know when you write something off in one year as opposed to

you know over many years I think that's going to be tremendous we have so many

things in this plan that are going to be for growth and you know your next

question is going to be deficits and all and I fully understand that and we all

understand it and growth if we pick up one point on GDP that's two point five

trillion dollars if you think of it two point five it more than pays for

everything and I think we pick up much more than one point and I've been the

one that's saying we're gonna hit three sooner rather than later

well last quarter we hit three point two yeah we haven't been there Maria we

haven't been there in a long time it's been a long time as you know the

previous administration didn't hit it for the year for eight years in eight

years it didn't hit it at all here we headed in you know an early quarter for

me and actually before that it was down in the ones it was down in the ones I

used to like one and a half percent growth for a long time you know I call

up I'd become friendly with leaders of other very very you know large countries

and then said how you doing and they would say we are not doing well we are

not doing well GDP is at 7 percent GDP is at 8 percent we are not happy and I'm

saying you know we had it at 1 percent so I really think we can do much more

than a portent let's see what happens but one point is two and a half trillion

and millions of jobs let me ask you about your recording of the Democrats

recently I mean the reason that I brought up this other bracket is because

I feel like the Republicans get bullied by the left by this whole talking point

of it's always tax cuts for the rich yeah you've been that's an automatic

talking point I mean are you getting bullied again I

don't think so I've been doesn't seem like it we just got the budget you get a

fifth but here's the thing Schumer I like Schumer but before he even knows

the plan say oh this is for the Richard so he doesn't even know what the plan is

and he's screaming it's for the rich he did it with health care too he said this

is for the rich this is for the rich you're not gonna get your coverage

everybody is going to go into hospitals it's going to be terrible the world is

coming to an end okay didn't even know what the plan was and that's okay you

know we're all learning politics right and he said that voice it's the same

thing because I some two days ago before I really knew what was happening he said

oh no it's for the rich it's an automatic statement it's like in

business you asked for twice as much you go back with Chuck Schumer I like you

both for this is helpful in terms of in negotiations I don't think it matters I

mean I really don't but I met with the Senate Finance Committee I met with the

Republicans Democrats together right across the hallway two days ago we had a

great meeting Ron Wyden was their chairman we had a fantastic meeting

there's a lot of similarity they want tax cuts all summary they want tax cuts

and they want them as fast as possible now they don't want to say it and

they're saying oh gee you know the the middle the middle class I call them the

working people because they really are the working people but the middle class

doesn't benefit that's that's just standard but they know it they do

benefit they're the big beneficiaries the other thing the other big

beneficiary jobs wages what's been my priority and if you look at what I've

done between regulations I've cut more regulations in nine months than any

president has cut during the entire term that there were nobody's than President

Bush I mean the the federal pages are down 30% under your leadership and and

by the way I've just begun because I mean really a lot more I mean I think I

can double it before it's over but a lot of its statutory where you have to give

a 90-day notice and then you have to give a hundred and twenty day we've

given those notices I mean we're going to be doing a lot more but you look at

you know Keystone pipeline Dakota access pipeline these were all dead projects

they approved them in my first feed days I mean literally in my first we had

a three point one percent GDP because of the regulation rollback that you did

there are some industries that are not that regulated I'm wondering what you

think about tech right now because you have these companies that are more

powerful than ever before they've got everything all this data on us they're

selling the data should the tech companies be more regulated well I guess

some people talk about freedom and other people talk about we want to know who's

taking ads are doing whatever and I would imagine something's gonna come

down along the line like we're doing right now for regular you know whether

it's commercial or not for a normal broadcast company it'll be

very interesting to see you know that's an argument that's happening right now

it'll be very interesting to see what there are two very distinct views on

that I can go honestly I can go either way on if mister president who do you

want to see wanting the fed well as you know I've been seeing a number of people

and most people are saying it's down to two mr. Taylor mr. Powell I also met

with Janet Yellen who I like a lot I really like her a lot so I have three

people that I'm looking at and there are a couple of others I'd say I will make

my decision very shortly pretty shortly isn't there a way that you can get

Taylor and Powell in there because you've got a vice chairman opening as

well you can actually put them both in there is that in your thinking it is in

my thinking and I have a couple of other things in my thinking but I like talent

and they're both very talented people and it's a hard decision sex a very very

important decision people have know most people have no idea how important that

position is that position is actually more put a lot of people say get rid of

the Fed take the Fed out the feds a very important position it's also important

psychologically if the right person is in there a lot of good things can happen

I think I'm doing a good job for business so that way people are coming

into the country you saw what happened with Foxconn going to Wisconsin you see

what's happening with Apple where they're gonna I said to Tim I said to

Tim Cook I said to him I want some of those big beautiful plants that I see in

China they have to open in this country you got to give me some big beautiful

plants it's happening so all happening the auto companies are coming back into

our country coming up to Michigan again they're going back

we're not going to be taken advantage of we were taken advantage of but I

wouldn't say the company so much but by other countries we were so badly taken

advantage of as you know we're negotiating with NAFTA and they have an

election right now and lots of things but at some point either NAFTA will be

renegotiated so that it's fair to the United States or it will be terminated

and it's very simple people think that's a very tough statement but it will

probably be renegotiated but if it's not successfully renegotiated so it's fair

for the United States it will be terminated my exclusive interview with

President Trump as we look ahead this morning on Sunday morning futures back

in a moment

dicks or visit rate calm welcome back debate and controversy last

week over the phone call that President Trump made congresswoman Frederica

Wilson who says that she was listening to the call she accused the president of

not showing proper respects but last week the president's chief of staff John

Kelly defended the president in an emotional statement I asked mr. Trump

about that he is a very elegant man and he is a tough strong four-star marine

either four-star marine your you've got something special to start off with okay

general mattis general Dunford also but very few he he was so offended because

he was in the room when I made the call and so were other people and the call

was a very nice call he was so offended that a woman would be

that somebody would be listening to that call he was he actually couldn't believe

it actually he said to me sir this is not acceptable this is really not and he

knew I was so nice I was like I've called many people and I would think

that every one of them appreciated it I was very surprised to see this to be

honest with you and by the way I spoke of the name of the young man and I it

was it was a really it's a very tough call those are the toughest these are

tougher than dealing with the heads of countries believe me these are very very

hard calls they're sad and and sometimes you know the grieving is so incredible

but he's just an elegant man and a wonderful man and he is doing a

fantastic job as chief the the congresswoman Frederica Wilson she said

oh everything he said was because he's just trying to keep his job he doesn't

need this job in fact he didn't really want this yet he was so happy you know

he's a military guy he was doing this incredible job on the border and

elsewhere you know he ran homeland like nobody has ever run it down 78 percent

of the border crossings that's before the war he was there's nobody plus you

go to the original first day there was nobody close to doing the job and I said

I'd like to take you how would you like it and it's not that he wanted it

actually he would have preferred doing and staying where he was he is a man

that felt it would be important for the country he does it for the country he's

not doing it for what he wants he does it for the country this is a very

unusual man so when she made that statement I thought it was sickening

actually I just want to ask you before I lose you about the border and you you've

said you want a legislative fix for daca what else do you need to see in terms of

the border what are you see we are working on daca we'll see if we can get

something with daca we have to build the wall we have to all you have to do is

look at what's happening in Mexico we have to build a wall going to stop drug

trafficking to a large extent I mean what's happening with drugs and I'll be

making a big announcement on that next week what's happening with drugs in our

country and by the way in the world it's not like we're single down but it's

never been like this and a lot of the drugs come through that southern border

and we need a wall we're gonna have a wall we have to I would like to do

something with daca and we are negotiating right now with the Democrats

we'll see we can come up with a solution but I can tell you I and the Republicans

are very open to it we have to get something in return and last week on

this program we had Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu he commended you he

congratulated you for D certifying Iran in what you did last week do you think

you're gonna get the Europeans to support you in terms of sanctions in

terms of not selling technology to Iran honestly I told them they're friends of

mine they really are I get along with all of them whether it's a manual or

whether it's Angela I get along if that I really like those people I told them

just keep making money don't worry about it we don't need you on this you just

keep making money when Iran buys things from Germany and from France and from

the various you know by you know billions of dollars even us you know

they were going to buy Boeing's I don't know what's gonna happen with the deal

we'll see what happens with the deal but but when they buy those things it's a

little harder for those countries to do something would they do it if I really

was insistent I believe they would I told them just keep making money don't

worry we don't need you on this one hmm and on North Korea is our policy with

China just about what it does with North Korea or do we have a separate policy

with China for something from China has been I've developed a very good

relationship with President Xi President Xi is right now going through his

Congress and it's going to be something very soon it's going to happen right

that gives him something that few leaders of China have ever had and I'm

really good with that and to be honest when I told him this I want to keep

things very very low-key until such time as he gets that I want him to get that I

think he deserves it it's a good man but they have been helping us they're

closing off their banking systems to North Korea they have cut the oil way

down now their banking systems we can see because it all comes through here as

you know know the oil you can never really see what's going on but the oil

is way down the oil is a they're doing a lot of things for the first time ever

for the first time ever there was a recent article that said I have the

greatest relationship of any president the two of us and I think we do I really

do I think I don't want to be foolish he's for China and I'm for the US okay

so we start off with that but we do have a very good I would say an exceptional

relationship and China's really helping us and Wilson with respect to North

Korea look 93% of the things going into North Korea come through China China is

big stuff I believe he's got he's got the power to do something very

significant with respect to North Korea we'll see what happens for anything we

are so prepared like you wouldn't believe

you would be shocked to see how totally prepared we are if we need to be would

it be nice not to do that the answer is yes will that happen

you

SUPREME COURT UPHOLDS TRUMP TRAVEL BAN - Duration: 18:00.

early within the scope of presidential authority under federal law the sole

prerequisite set forth in federal laws that the president find that the entry

of the covered aliens would be detrimental to the interests of the

United States the president has undoubtedly fulfilled that requirement

here says Chief Justice Roberts what does this say this decision by the

Supreme Court judge say about presidential authority and and its range

that it cannot be second-guessed by the courts it's a great question Sondra this

really goes to the heart of the difference between the majority and the

minority the the dissenters would question whether or not the president

had a basis for this decision and whether that basis was an animus against

Muslims the majority is ruling we will not question the president's basis

unless it is so irrational that nobody could accept it so if the president says

2+2 equals 22 the court is not bound by it but if the president says it is more

likely than not that harm will come to the country Oh harm will come to the

United States by the unbridled admission of people from these seven countries the

court is in no position to second-guess him because the court lacks the tools

with which the second-guess him and the president has enormous tools available

to him in the executive branch from which to come to that conclusion what do

the opponents do well Eric this is a preliminary ruling this is not the final

ruling by that by that I mean that somebody trying to enter the United

States in Brooklyn or trying to answer the United States and Honolulu from one

of those seven countries can still make an application to enter they can't claim

in that application that the travel ban is unconstitutional but they can claim

that it doesn't apply to them by demonstrating that they are not harmful

to the country and they will produce good when they come here that's for

trial courts to decide but whatever the trial courts do when

they hear those applications and trust me those applications will come the

trial courts are bound by the Supreme Court's ruling today which is that this

ban is in force and as lawful and is going to be enforced at all the entry

points starting this afternoon do you think that there was a hint that this

was eventually going to be the outcome of this judge back into summer when they

actually let travel ban 3.0 be fully implemented yes and it was that great

observation said where it was the same five to four vote that allowed it to be

implemented at the time look there's not going to be any change at the port of

entry as a result of the Supreme Court decision today except that the

procedures will be permanent the the immigration people won't be walking on

eggs wondering if they're going to lose their their authority this Authority is

now permanent as long as Donald Trump as president or unless he decides to

rescind it he may very well call up kim jongwan and say I'm taking you off the

list well that would change some things if

anybody's allowed to leave North Korea and come here because the president

wrote this executive order he can modify it or unright it however he wants but

unless changed by this president or a successor it remains the law of the land

does this give him the president expanded powers over this issue that he

could expand this disorder and to involve other countries or other issues

yes yes the president could amend this order and include Mexico if he wanted to

now again he would have to make findings that people coming from Mexico are

harmful to the national security of the United States but the Supreme Court has

said if the findings are rational we will not second-guess them as long as I

can I use my silly example as long as he doesn't say two plus two equals twenty

two we are not going to second-guess the president no matter what his political

rhetoric is so this opinion may very well give some poof if you will do

Donald Trump the president to help resolve the problems that we've all been

ringing all hands over at the United States Mexico border in the past two

weeks fair to say judge that this is the first significant legal test of

this administration's policies in power it's the first significant test of this

administration's legal policies and power with respect to immigration

absolutely and it's a wringing uncompromising endorsement of the

choices the legal and constitutional choices made by President Donald Trump

all right judge we're just learning that the remaining two opinions will be

released tomorrow the court now is recessed for now so that is the big

bombshell today that the President of the United States reacted to it by

saying simply Wow all right Judge Andrew Napolitano thank you for jumping on this

breaking news for us pleasure so the Supreme Court has upheld the Trump

travel ban travel ban 3.0 as it has been called of Chief Justice Roberts writing

that the in the majority opinion the proclamation is squarely within the

scope of presidential authority under federal law reject rejecting claims of

discrimination in that travel ban we will have more on this coming up at the

top of the hour join us for a new hour are you is the top of the hour and we

have a Fox News Alert for you a big victory for the Trump administration the

Supreme Court upholding the president's travel ban welcome to a brand new hour

of America's newsroom I'm Sandra Smith why had a busy morning this morning

Sandra hello everyone I'm owner Shaun infield bill hemmer you know it was a

five-to-four decision the justices endorsing the president's authority to

regulate immigration upholding selective travel restrictions into our country

from several mostly Muslim nations Jessie bream is live at the Supreme

Court for us Shannon a big morning there the latest and has been and for right

now this is a celebration for the White House and for the Trump administration

because the 5-4 decision for now is in their favor the Chief Justice writing

for the majority says this by its plain language the federal law the immigration

law here grants the president broad discretion to suspend the entry of

aliens into the United States the president lawfully exercised that

discretion based on findings following a worldwide multi-agency

that entry of the covered aliens would be detrimental to the national interest

there were a number of agencies including homeland security in the State

Department that tried to work with countries around the globe and said

listen if you could provide us the specific information that we have

confidence that people have been vetted from your country before they come to

ours if you can't keep up with those vetting requirements or choose not to

you're going to be on the list of those who are banned now some countries have

actually worked their way off the list but many remain on that list and today

in a 5-4 decision the court found that for now that is the right decision and

this is going to be sent back down to the lower court there's going to be more

legal procedure happening with that but with now the force and the thrust of the

Supreme Court precedent acting and talking about what the president's

powers are in the executive branch there was a lot of argument about whether or

not the president's comments during the campaign and after his election should

be factored in the plaintiff cited numerous things we talked about a Muslim

ban or shutting down the borders this is what the Chief Justice wrote he said the

proclamation is expressly premise on legitimate purposes preventing entry of

nationals who cannot be adequately vetted and inducing other nations to

improve their practices the text says nothing about religion he says yes there

are some heavily Muslim dominant countries that are included but that

fact alone does not support an inference of religious hostility given that the

policy covers just 8% of the world's Muslim population and is limited to

countries that were previously designated by Congress not this

administration or prior administrations as opposing national security risks as

you would imagine there were two very scathing dissents I would say the most

heated came from justice Sotomayor who thinks this court got it totally wrong

by ignoring what the President had to say outside the text of this

proclamation she writes in her dissent the United States of America is a nation

built upon the promise of religious liberty our founders honored that core

promise by embedding the principle of religious neutrality in the First

Amendment the court's decision today fails to safeguard that fundamental

principle it leaves undisturbed a policy first

advertised openly and unequivocally in she quotes here as a quote total and

complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States because the policy now

she says a masquerades behind a facade of national

concerns so for now the ban is upheld that this Court finds five to four that

the president was within his authority based on the text of immigration laws

the text of this travel ban he's done the right thing but now it goes back to

the lower court reversing their decision and telling them now to re well to

thoroughly decide this case on the merits now based on this guidance that

they've gotten from the Supreme Court so it's possible the case ends up back here

but now it goes back to the lower court it's a win today for the white house as

they celebrate and Shannon quickly as far as any further decisions coming down

not today tomorrow though and a day extension in the term yeah we have

another day coming either Wednesday or Thursday and we're gonna get that big

union dues case we've been watching whether public sector employees can be

forced to join a union or forced to pay fees to a union whose political message

they don't agree with could impact millions of people across the country so

it's a big decision that will have a huge impact on unions in this country

we'll get it tomorrow or Thursday and we'll look forward to that meanwhile all

about the travel ban shannon bream outside of the Supreme Court thank you

Anna Shannon just said a big win for the white house and that is where John

Roberts is live in the North Lawn with reaction from the president Johnny had

one succinct specific word in his reaction to this decision

yeah Eric good morning to you the president clearly happy at least in the

initial read of the Supreme Court decision tweeting out a short time ago

Supreme Court upholds Trump travel ban Wow

exclamation mark the White House continues to read through this decision

though because it needs to figure out exactly what this means particularly the

part the part about it being remanded back to the lower courts that have been

the Ninth Circuit and the Fourth Circuit and so the White House does not know

what the ultimate outcome of this is but on the surface at least the fact that

the majority in the Supreme Court has thrown its support behind the

president's authority to enact a travel ban based on national security purposes

is a big win for the White House now the president all along had said that he

thought that the first travel ban should never have been rescinded of course this

is the third iteration of that the first one was attacked in the courts quite

roundly after it was first released but the president always maintained that he

didn't like this didn't like the third one he thought

that the first one should have should have held and I wouldn't expect that the

president will go back to that first one but certainly you know he will probably

stick by his guns that I do have the authority to initiate a ban like this

and therefore that one probably should have stood all along it is important to

point out that while the Supreme Court found that this was not a quote Muslim

ban this was simply a ban of individuals from certain countries that couldn't be

vetted properly Eric the president did on several occasions at least during the

political campaign the presidential campaign say that there was a need for a

Muslim ban so we're expecting a statement from the White House soon

again the White House counsel's office the president through the communications

shop all just reading through this to see exactly what it means but we should

have a statement from them shortly Eric and John do we know one will have more

than a statement will exceed from the President himself and get his reaction

does he have a photo opportunity or an event for the media today there are a

couple of events on the calendar right now in a Medal of Honor ceremony this

afternoon it's not likely that he would say anything about it during the Medal

of Honor ceremony but the first two events are closed but I would expect

that they'll probably open one of those up to the pool particularly based on

this ruling from the Supreme Court and we happen to be the pool network today

so if the president's got something to say I'll be there in person to hear it

all right and we'll bring it to you live to our viewers of course live when the

president reacts personally to this ruling

thank you John Thanks joining us now is Georgia Republican congressman Doug

Collins a member of the House Judiciary Committee and vice chair of the House

GOP conference congressman good morning and and thanks for coming on the program

and we have you on minutes after this travel ban a ruling came down your

thoughts my thought is is the Supreme Court did what they should do and that

was if the President does have the authority he had the latitude to look in

the national security and best interest of our country they'd followed the law

instead of activist courts or judges who decided to make up their own law when

they said nothing about the previous administration many times doing things

by executive yeah they said this is proper in this regard and I think the

sprinkler ruling here how do you think that this

decision is going to play out in the in the broader context of the immigration

debate that is happening in this country right now well I think it wanted

confirms that that the problem the president did what he thought was right

and they have confirmed that and they've sent it back to the lower court to

interpret it under the Supreme Court's ruling on presidential authority which

is a good thing but I think it also brings to highlight

that we need to actually solve the problem of immigration that we have

going on in our country and we need to make sure it's done in a proper way with

security with compassion with the things that the president the four pillars that

he's talked about many times and I think he is the one that actually has said

let's solve this problem and he's made it very clear that this is not a

political issue we've got to move beyond the political issue at the Democrats

seem to like to have and say what can we do to actually solve this problem so

that we have good safe legal immigration of which we're the most generous in the

world considering the headlines right now or that this is a big win for the

Trump administration congressman how will this play out politically how will

this affect a you know the way the administration decides to move forward

with us well I think they'll be continued to decide to move forward in

the way that they have especially on the travel ban I think they'll continue that

process looking at it from the national security interest but I think it's also

going to give impetus I think maybe hope on Capitol Hill to deal with immigration

to deal with the other issues that have been involved in he's been very

outspoken about this this president wants to solve it but he's only do it

the right way the president is not willing to do a half-hearted attempt

it's something that he doesn't believe him he's going to get behind it we're

looking to do that in the house we're looking to hopefully get the Senate on

board of this but we do need to solve it's American people need stability on

both sides of the aisle we need to solve this issue and quit the political games

of making sure that our borders are secure that we're having a verifiable

system inside for businesses to actually hire people and have our economy take

care of but also keeping those out that do not need to be here when you keep

crossing illegally yeah this is obviously the first big

Supreme Court decision to come in on this administration's policies so

considering it is being viewed as a win the five-to-four opinion this was

written by Chief Justice John Roberts it found that this restriction this travel

ban fell squarely within the president's authority obviously this is going to be

talked about in the context of what the president's Authority is when it comes

to immigration how do you feel about that well I think it's it follows the

law in many cases here what we got to understand is the president is the chief

executive officer when it comes in especially his number one for mode

opinion is to actually take care of the national security interest that was

where this issue was framed he framed it as a national security interest he

framed it as a need to make sure people are properly vetted coming from places

in the world that do not like us there are people all around the world who hate

us simply because we are free they don't know closely we want to come here

legally the ones who want to come to find fun we need to find places for them

but the president said those of you who want to do us harm we're gonna make sure

we have the proper vetting in place to make this happen and the Supreme Court

upheld that saying this - chief the commander in chief has the national

security responsibilities clearly in his wheelhouse

yes Sotomayor the Supreme Court justice as she found she was a dissenter in this

she said a reasonable observer would conclude that the proclamation was

motivated by anti-muslim animus and she was joined in dissent by Justice Ruth

Bader Ginsburg they did not mince words and their dissent of this ruling well I

think the problem is as I was in law school you actually dealt with words on

paper not emotions and feelings that you saw that maybe came out from somewhere

that they're implying words on paper matter in this town and it shouldn't

matter across the country the ban it was put out you know executive order form it

said what it needed to say and it said it in the proper context of executive

authority I think for them to come back and want to take in the opinions of

others and what they think may or may not have taken it into account is again

judicial bias in many ways to say this is what we

would have preferred but when they come to the law maybe they should go back and

remember what they actually learned or taught in law school but you actually

look at the letter of law well we got the White House reaction to this a short

time ago a simple seven word tweet by President Trump himself Supreme Court

upholds Trump travel ban Wow says the president congressman thank you good to

have you on this morning and get your reaction to this breaking news great to

be with you take care thank you all right Sandra we'll have much more on

what is seen as a major victory a legal victory by the Trump administration in

just a moment as the Supreme Court upholds the travel ban five to four in a

moment law professor Jonathan Turley will be here to give us his take on this

historic ruling

The 'silent Trump supporter' has gone global, and so has the Red Hen - Duration: 7:11.

The 'silent Trump supporter' has gone global, and so has the Red Hen

The 2016 election gave us the "Silent Trump Supporter" — Trump voters who would not reveal their true sympathies to pollsters.

This was a great mystery at the time, but seeing now how Trump supporters are routinely denigrated, harassed and vilified, their silence was understandable if not prescient.

In 2018, the Silent Trump Supporter has gone global.

Around the world, government officials and heads of state ritually denounce President Trump to anyone who will listen.

But at the same time they are pursuing the game-changing policies the president has championed.

Take this story from the European Union, please.

"China and the European Union vowed to oppose trade protectionism in an apparent rebuke to the U.

, saying unilateral actions risked pushing the world into a recession," reports the lede sentence in a recent Bloomberg story.

However, European companies are complaining about the "lack of reciprocity between the access to China's markets that they get, and the access Chinese companies get to Europe.

" Brussels also has problems with China's forced technology transfers, steel overcapacity, cyber espionage and investments targeting critical technology and infrastructure.

And while Eurocrats genuflect to multilateral globalism, they acknowledge the World Trade Organization needs to be updated "to better equip it for the contemporary world.

How do we know all this? It's in the same Bloomberg story, buried eleven paragraphs down.

China's non-reciprocal protection of its home market, its industrial espionage, forced technology transfer, deliberate overproduction of steel and aluminum, and the WTO's inability to deal with Beijing's flagrant serial violations– these are the issues President Trump has addressed after decades of diplomatic happy talk and no action.

Count the Brussels bureaucrats as silent Trump supporters.

By now we are all familiar with Justin Trudeau, Canada's woke prime minister, he who preens and postures in public about not being pushed around by President Trump.

Meanwhile, we learn the Canadian government is preparing a combination of quotas and tariffs to prevent a flood of steel imports from other countries including China.

"The moves follow similar 'safeguard' measures being considered by the European Union," our friends at Bloomberg tell us.

Add Justin Trudeau and his trade minister Chrystia Freeland to the basket of Silent Trump Supporters.

You may want to put Toronto Mayor John Tory in that basket, too.

While Trudeau gamely condemns the Trump administration's immigration policies as "unacceptable," Toronto's mayor says his city can't handle the huge number of refugees and asylum seekers entering Canada and is asking for help from Ottawa.

And then there's Angela Merkel, Germany's chancellor and anti-Trump poster child.

While her public pronouncements against President Trump's America First agenda are as fierce as any MSNBC host's, her actions tell a different story.

Merkel wants to send some of the million recent immigrants to the other European countries they came through on their way to Germany.

Her coalition partners want any more asylum seekers turned back at the border.

Merkel recently had a photo-op at a Beirut refugee camp, and the European Commission is considering setting up centers in North Africa for migrants intercepted at sea on the way to Europe.

These are precisely the policies President Trump is advocating when he says Mexico should deal with the migrants flowing through that country, asylum seekers should be dealt with at the border, and Middle Eastern refugees should be taken care of in their home region.

Unlike the silent Trump voters of 2016 concerned about being bullied on social media or in public, the Silent Trump Supporters of 2018 are more cynical.

They bring to mind the story of the Red Hen.

Not the Lexington restaurant that refuses service on the basis of political opinion (one of the recognized grounds for seeking asylum, ironically), but the children's story about the hypocrisy of those who refuse to make the bread but are more than ready to enjoy the product of someone else's industry.

President Trump did the hard work — he had the guts to discard the failed policies and conventional wisdom of the past.

He's charting a new course for an international system collapsing under the stress of decades of systemic imbalances in trade, production and employment opportunities.

The lazy, sleepy and noisy are all too happy call President Trump names — even as they emulate his policies and eat the bread he baked.

Curtis Ellis is senior policy advisor with America First Policies.

He was a senior policy advisor on the Donald J.

Trump campaign.

AWKS! Meghan Markle who SLAMMED 'misogynist' Donald Trump 'to be royal dinner partners' - Duration: 4:07.

Palace sources are keeping tight-lipped about the finer details of just which of the royals will also be in attendance with Queen Elizabeth but at least one royal expert says the royal entourage could well include Meghan

Which may prove a tad awkward - as Prince Harry's new bride has well-documented opinions on Donald Trump – and not all of them are glowing

Prior to the 2016 US election, Meghan aired her views on a television talk show, declaring that she was prepared to leave the US and live in Canada if Mr Trump was elected

Speaking on Comedy Central's Nightly Show, hosted by Larry Wilmore, she said: "We film Suits in Toronto and I might just stay in Canada

I mean, come on. "If that's really the reality that we are talking about, come on, that is really a game changer in terms of how we move in the world here

" "Trump is divisive. Think about just female voters alone.  "I think it was in 2012, the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points

"That's a huge number and with someone as misogynistic as Trump is and so vocal about it, that's a huge chunk of it

" Of course five years ago she was an up-coming American actress rather than a senior member of the British royal family

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said: "Donald Trump's visit is a working visit not a state visit which would be very different

"The official itinerary has not been announced but we know he will be meeting the Queen at Windsor as the American Ambassador has said so

"Prime Minister Theresa May rashly promised Trump a state visit just after he became President

Only two American Presidents have had this honour, and if that happens it might well include Meghan as our first American princess – irrespective of what her private views might be

" He added it was likely that during the visit other members of the royal family would attend an official banquet which could see Meghan and Harry and Donald and Melania Trump as dinner partners

He said: "We know Meghan's thoughts on Trump before she was married it would be up to the royal family to choose who attended such an event if and when it happens

"The emphasis is obviously on goodwill, visits by American Presidents are intended to reinforce the "special relationship" and Britain needs America's co-operation in a post-Brexit deal

" Windsor castle will be closed to the public on 13 July, for the President's visit

Express.co.uk contacted Kensington Palace, for an official comment on the Duchess' plans during the US president's visit but they declined

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to visit Ireland from July 10th to July 11th, in their first official trip as a married couple, and are expected to return when Mr Trump arrives in the country

Britons have planned a nationwide protest against Mr Trump' arrival to the UK, with thousands planning to march London's streets

The US president is expected to avoid the capital to prevent being exposed to mass protests

President Trump Delivers Remarks Celebrating the Six Month Anniversary of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act - Duration: 33:08.

thank you very much everybody the economy is indeed doing well six months

ago we unleashed an economic miracle by signing the biggest tax cuts and reforms

I have to add the word reform very important work but the tax cuts is what

got us there and that's what's really doing it the biggest tax cuts in

American history now it's my great honor to welcome you back to the White House

to celebrate six months of new jobs bigger paychecks and keeping more of

your hard-earned money where it belongs in your pocket or wherever else you want

to spend it

before going any further I'd like to address the horrific shooting that took

place yesterday at Capitol Gazette newsroom in Annapolis Maryland

this attack shocked the conscience of our nation and filled our hearts with

grief journalists like all Americans should be free from the fear of being

violently attacked while doing their job to the families of the victims there are

no words to express our sorrow for your loss

horrible horrible event horrible thing happened when you're suffering we

pledged our eternal support this suffering is so great I've seen some of

the people so great my government will not rest until we have done everything

in our power to reduce violent crime and to protect innocent life we will not

ever leave your side so our warmest best wishes and regrets

horrific horrible thing thank you

for today's event we're honored to be joined by our great Vice President Mike

Pence dinner

also joining us are secretary Stephen minuchin has been keeping very busy

lately State Secretary Wilbur Ross Wilbur

secretary Alex Acosta just came up with a great health care plan

thank you Alex great health care plan people are really liking it association

sonny Perdue the great Secretary of Agriculture Small Business Administrator

Linda McMahon is doing an incredible job

director Mick Mulvaney

and treasurer Jovita Carranza jobina Jovita

thank you thanks also to a really great friend of mine Mississippi Governor phil

Bryant and all of the other state local federal officials that have done so much

to help us with this incredible tax cut and job plan you see how it's working

although I have to say I think that the cutting of regulations maybe had just as

big an impact I don't want to I don't want to say this to you but I think the

cutting of regulations had just as big an impact

I also want to welcome Juanita Dugan kay calls James Karen Carrigan and Michael

element for helping us your support has been incredible in getting this very

difficult legislation to the finish line of pass please stand up stand up what a

team great here great team thank you very much and there are so many others

in the room I you know you're never gonna speak to me again

but we're not gonna give any more names right let's get down to business

other than these names who are the important ones okay we're also

especially proud of the Republican members of Congress who fought I mean

they fought with us they they we didn't get a Democrat vote we didn't get one

vote for these massive tax cuts so I want to thank Roger wicker

representative Diane black Kevin Brady what a warrior Kevin Kevin come on stand

up

Mike Kelly my friend and Jason Smith our great Republican members of Congress

worked night and day to score this landmark victory this really was a

landmark victory for their constituents but much more importantly for the

country unfortunately every single Democrat and the House and Senate that's

right every single one voted against lower taxes for the hard working

Americans and you see what's happened it's turned out to be something very

special the tax cuts and Jobs Act slashed income taxes all across the

board we nearly doubled the standard deduction and did double the child tax

credit which Ivanka wanted very much I will kindly stand up here I stand up

whoa

she's got a bigger hand than the politicians you better be careful that

means you're all in trouble the typical family of four earning $75,000 will see

an income tax cut of more than $2,000 and in some cases more slashing their

tax bill in half we cut taxes for businesses of all sizes to make this the

best place on earth to start a business to invest we have billions and billions

of dollars of additional revenue coming in we lowered the corporate tax rate so

the American worker finally has a level playing field we allowed companies to

deduct every single penny of investment in new equipment and is called expensing

it's the biggest secret in the plan I think it'll go down as maybe the most

important element it's one year expensing nobody thought we'd ever see

that so incredible for starting up a business or running a business we

greatly reduced the burden of the unfair estate tax commonly known as the death

tax you know that's such a big thing and most farms and most small business will

not pay any estate tax or death tax anywhere such a thing

we created opportunities owns to promote more jobs in low-income communities we

opened Anwar that's a big one we opened up Anwar that

was one that they said no president could get it for many years I wasn't

going to do it because I was angry at someone I said I'm not going to do it

and then when I heard that Ronald Reagan couldn't do it nobody could do it

they've been trying for 50 years I said oh let's do that immediately it's like a

challenge challenge and they've started that process it's going to be something

one of the biggest in the world we also repealed in our tax cut plan we

repealed the most I guess you could say unpopular thing I've seen in a long time

in politics or legislation the individual mandate on Obamacare the

individual mandate how about that one that's not a very good one that's where

you have the privilege of paying a fortune in order to not pay to have bad

health care think of that so in other words you pay a lot of money not to have

health care so it's not working too good we got rid of it that's a big thing

we got no credit but that's okay that's okay

I've had some people come up to me they say they'd like that as much as the tax

cuts it was a big thing and Obamacare is just about over we have come up with so

many plans and we have a plan coming out an additional plan secretary is are

coming out in a very short period of time which is going to be I think it's

going to perhaps match your plan from Department of Labor it's going to be

something very special six months after our tax cuts more than six million

workers have received bonuses pay raises and retirement account contribution

and one of the one of the beautiful elements of what I do I love to see

happy faces but I'll stand on line sometimes before or after a speech and

I'll be with a lot of people that want pictures for whatever reason they want a

picture of me and I stand with the police a lot and I'll see a policeman

and in particular one in New York City and he said sir I want to thank you

you've made me a hero to my wife and to my family I've always been a horrible

investor but this year my 401k think of it is up like 46% I think he said my

wife thinks I'm a genius she thinks I'm the greatest investor for the first time

in my life

and you know in terms of value or worth we've created seven trillion dollars

worth of value for our country and people don't know this we're double the

size almost double the size because we hear China and China's terrific in a

relationship is terrific we're straightening out the balance and I

think most people want to see that but we're the largest economy in the world

by far and as you know we've increased a lot over the last one and a half years

but we're almost double the size of China and far bigger than anybody else

and we're going up very rapidly and it's going to continue to go up very biggest

in the world by far think of that we are the biggest you know that the biggest

economy in the world by far that's the only way to do it right good

it really is it's pretty good and they helped us a little bit right just a

little bit that's okay every little bit so the share of small

businesses raising benefits and pay has just set a new all-time record and

manufacturing optimism to me is so important because it's all about

optimism is the highest ever recorded this is a

this is a statistic that's been around for a long time highest ever recorded

hundreds of billions of dollars are coming back from overseas over 300

billion dollars was just repatriated into our country in the first quarter

alone think of that 300 billion money we never would have seen trillions more

dollars are on their way back and as you know Apple announced ticket has been

three hundred and fifty billion dollars not million I would have been happy with

that too but three hundred and fifty billion dollars is being brought back

I guess the total amount that bringing back is approximately two hundred and

thirty billion and they're putting up the rest the old-fashioned way they're

bringing this money back it would never have come back they're going to build an

incredible campus and lots of other things we just left Wisconsin and what

Foxconn is building up in Wisconsin is literally and I said it the eighth

wonder of the world it's incredible what they're doing 15,000 jobs it's going to

cost fifteen billion dollars it is something that is so incredible you have

to go see it nobody would believe what's happening more than 100 utility

companies have lowered prices as a direct result of our business tax cuts

saving Americans 3 billion dollars on their utility bills utility bills are

going down unemployment claims are at a forty four year low that's a good one

forty four years

something I am so proud of I love it unemployment for african-americans is at

the lowest level in the history of our country

okay I'm looking at Kevin that was a good job you were right about that Kevin

huh how is it that is something we're all right everybody in this room was

right and I have to say unemployment for Hispanic Americans likewise is at the

lowest point in the history of our country unemployment unemployment for

women in how of you listened to my speech two weeks ago you would have

heard me say is the lowest in 21 years now I'm saying it's the lowest in 65

years and soon will be the lowest in history the difference 21 years 65 years

hopefully in a week or two it'll be history we're close to history 65 years

of long time I'm also very proud to say that unemployment for the disabled

Americans has reached record lows giving these incredible Americans the chance to

realize their unlimited potential and that's what it is unlimited potential

many former inmates are also getting a second chance at life we are keeping our

promise to buy American and hire American and what's happening is our

economy is so good our unemployment is so low and our employment is so high

maybe that's an even nicer way of saying it and people that want to get a second

chance inmates people coming out of jail where

the stigma was so great people weren't hiring businesses weren't hiring they're

hiring them now in record numbers and you know what these businesses are

saying they are fantastic they're set and as one gentleman in particular he

hired 10 inmates never did it before and he said I wouldn't say he said all of

them but he said 7 of them are so incredible not a bad percentage I think

that's a better percentage than we have he said seven of them are as good as

he's ever had and he's going to do a lot more of it so there's nothing like a

great economy to solve that problem Jared right and Chris thank you very

much good but this is all because we're one country and really one family and we

salute one great and beautiful American flag we love that flag and at last our

country finally has a tax system that is Pro jobs Pro worker Pro family and

pro-american so one incredible citizen who has benefited from our tax cuts and

job act is lasagna hill I love that name lasagna if I have another daughter I

think I'm gonna name it I like that name of Jacksonville Florida

great place I know it well lasagna is the director at customer care at Crowley

marine following the tax cuts and Jobs Act Crowley was able to pay employees

like lasagna a big tax cut bonus they took a lot of money and they gave it

around to the employees that bonus will help support the education of her two

sons Cameron and Christian

but a good right pretty good

so we're so happy for your family and I know your sons are gonna make you very

proud they're great young men and lasagna please would you say a few words

please

Thank You mr. president for the invite it's an honor to be here today as you

said Crowley maritime was able to benefit from the tax reform by paying

employees bonuses and in return my family we were able to invest in our

children's education

my son Cameron he will be entering into his senior year at Morehouse College in

Atlanta Georgia

and my youngest Christian Hill he will be entering into his freshman year at

Savannah State both in the fall

so because of this you know Crowley maritime is a fantastic company I've

been there 24 years I'm very honored to work for such a great company and for

the company to benefit from such a great tax opportunity in which they were able

to give back to the employees and so I want to thank not only mr. president for

allowing us the opportunity to tell our story but also Crowley as a company that

I've been with for so long throughout my career so thank you again

by the way she got the biggest by far including you Ivanka and including all

of my political geniuses out here great job like you're a professional

speaker

that's called potential beautifully another American who has used his tax

cut to give back to others is guy berkebile president of guy

chemical in Somerset Pennsylvania the great state of Pennsylvania incredible

place guy increased bonuses raise salaries and purchased new equipment guy

has also hired 30 new employees to help meet customer demand which is actually

booming right now the best he's ever had and here with guy are two of his

tremendous employees Lee and deist and Michelle croolik we want to ask guy

maybe if you could come up say a few words about the tax cuts and how it's

affected your company and I assume your people that work for you are really

happy please

yeah President Trump and the members of Congress who have voted for this tax

bill I can't tell you how much it means to my company and my employees when I

founded my company in 1995 I mortgaged my house seven times in order to pay for

the growth of the company over the next 10 15 years before the company finally

got large enough that you could stand on its own the money that we are saving

from the corporate tax cuts I have reinvested back into our business and

into our employees we recently just built an addition onto our manufacturing

facility in Somerset Pennsylvania this addition includes new equipment a new

compounding room in a new lab for research and development that is five

times larger than our old lab

this investment in our company has led to a 35% increase in sales over the

first quarter of 2008 een in addition to the thirty new jobs that we created this

year so far

so with the tax cut money I have been increasing salaries and we have also

increased bonuses to our employees I have some of my employees that have come

down are sitting out here in the in the fourth row and I have two right here

Michelle true like her son also works for us too

Michelle is one of our line leaders she is using the additional money from her

increased bonus to fix her car I take it so she has a reliable way to work every

day and her and her husband are also taking a vacation a second honeymoon to

celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary this year

'only diced he's a Navy veteran

but we're proud of our servicemen back home he is our head and maintenance he's

the guy that keeps my plant running he and his wife have two young daughters

under the age of four so he's using his additional money from his bonus to help

offset his expenses for child care and they are also taking their first

vacation in five years

president Trump I'd like to thank you very much for fighting for American

businesses and our workers who keep our factories running

how did he do pretty good pretty good Wow that's a good that's a good

combination I want to tell you a lot of talent I just want everybody keep up the

great work because common sense is being restored in Washington again because

hardworking Americans are in charge of their government once again Washington

tried to change us but that's not going to happen instead we're changing

Washington and we're changing it quickly and for the better

that's why our economy is booming that's why our families are thriving that's why

our businesses are growing and that is why America is winning like never ever

before we're setting records every day these

are victories and there your victories and now what we're doing is we're

straightening out our trade our trade has been a disaster we were being taken

advantage of as a country by many many countries friends and enemies and those

in between and sometimes our friends in terms of trade were treating us worse

than the enemies and I want to just tell you that's being taken care of very well

and very beautifully our steel industry is coming back never have they seen

anything like what's happened over the last four months with steel they were

dumping steel dumping all over our land they were dumping steel and we were

losing our steel business United States steel the head called me up two days ago

he says the most incredible thing that we've ever seen we haven't expanded in

30 years we haven't done anything remotely like expansion and we're now

expanding and renovating areas of plants that haven't been used in forever

you remember US Steel was massive they have plants that went a mile and a half

long and they were using little corners of plants he said this has not happened

for decades it's back we were in South Carolina the other night and Georgetown

steel Georgetown is a wonderful company couldn't make it they closed four years

ago they announced as I literally was getting off the plane they announced

that they're opening up their steel mills 600 people are employed

and don't forget what it means is it means jobs but we can't lose the steel

industry steel we need certain industries we have to have but it means

episode you know what else it means billions of dollars will come into our

treasury nobody talks about that billions and billions of dollars but

what's happening with steel aluminum what's happening with other industries

where we're working to revive them believe it or not washing machines they

were dumping washing machines and they weren't good machines all over the

country and we put a big tariff on a certain country for doing it and now we

have these washing machine plants that would close they're open and they're

thriving solar panels 32 plants it's a new industry so they weren't old 32

plants all over the country two were opened the rest a gun out of business

now those two and those two were in bad shape now they're doing great and

they're looking at 10 11 and even 12 reopening zuv solar plants all over the

country and these are really great panels so the level of quality and just

to finish many countries are calling saying let's negotiate

they were never doing that they're saying let's negotiate please we please

we want to negotiate they weren't doing that before of course I'm not sure if

your past representatives would have known the difference but let me tell you

they're calling and they want to negotiate and all we want is fairness

we're gonna be the smart country again not the stupid country that was taken

advantage of by everything and you made this possible you are all

truly making America great again a slogan that I'm very proud of that was a

slogan that seemed to have worked tell you what it's it was a very special and

it's so accurate even more so than America first you know America first is

very threatening to others that we don't want to be threatening but make America

great again that's what's happening we're bringing back our pride we're

bringing back our jobs we're bringing back our wealth and for the citizens of

this great land we're bringing back our beautiful American dreams we have dreams

you guys have dreams I'll bet right big ones because now you're on a level

playing field now you're on a level beautiful playing field go out they're

gonna be fantastic these are gonna be great futures so I want to thank you all

I want to just say God bless you all very very special people thank you for

all the help our country is doing so well possibly as well as it's ever done

I don't think it's ever done like this in terms of the economy we have were

rebuilding our military 700 billion dollars we got approved and seven

hundred and sixteen billion dollars for the following year so we'll have the

strongest best most modern military that we've ever had relatively speaking and

we need

and we hope we never have to use it but the stronger it gets

the less likely it is that we'll ever have to use it so we're gonna have

something very special I want to thank a couple of the generals some of my great

generals are in the back these are tough cookies we have the best in the world we

have the best military in the world but now we're going to have it's equipped

with the finest and remember what else that means that means jobs because we

build it here when we build those beautiful planes from Lockheed and from

Boeing and Grumman and all of the different places we are this American

jobs the ships it's all American jobs so it means a lot jobs mean nothing

compared to the importance of having the right that's in one case this is

probably the only case where the jobs aren't as important we have to get the

military taking care but jobs are a secondary benefit and we have jobs all

over the country so I just want to thank everybody for being here there's a very

special time for the country very special time for you god bless you all

thank you very much

Fashion Notes: Melania Trump Struts in Flower Power Pants, Bright Stilettos for Weekend Getaway - Duration: 8:37.

First Lady Melania Trump strutted out of the White House on Friday, bringing the flower power in a pair of cigarette pants, alongside President Trump and their family for a weekend getaway in New Jersey

As of late, Mrs. Trump has focused much of her style attention on pants. Yesterday, Mrs

Trump rocked a sporty chic look in a pair of ivory palazzo pants, as Breitbart News noted

On Friday, it was all about bold sunshine tones and flower power. Mrs. Trump stepped out of the White House in a menswear-inspired white button-down, a pair of Erdem floral print slim-leg pants, and bright yellow Manolo Blahnik stilettos

Mrs. Trump's Erdem pants retail for $895 and are made in Italy. The summer fashion ensemble was paired with Mrs

Trump's faded black shades for that extra cool vibe. U.S. President Donald Trump (R), first lady Melania Trump (2nd L), their son Barron Trump (L), and mother-in-law Amalija Knavs (3rd L) walk on the South Lawn of the White House prior to a Marine One departure June 29, 2018 in Washington, DC

Paul Ryan Just Looked Trump Square In The Eye And Betrayed Him - Duration: 12:25.

Paul Ryan Just Looked Trump Square In The Eye And Betrayed Him

House Speaker Paul Ryan recently revealed that he will not seek re-election.

So during his past few months in office, he doesn't have to worry about what voters

think of him.

And with that new freedom, Paul Ryan just looked Trump square in the eye and betrayed

him.

Speaker Ryan offered President Trump a plan on immigration that would let House legislators

vote for amnesty, and then vote against a bill containing Trump's three big immigration

reforms.

His plan uses another GOP amnesty plan around 20 representatives are pushing as leverage

to persuade Trump to remove the DACA amnesty portion of the current immigration bill, and

place it in a separate bill.

This would allow a large number of Representatives who are weak on illegal immigration to vote

for amnesty, and also vote against Trump's immigration plan, which includes funding for

a border wall.

As reported by Breitbart:

"HOUSE SPEAKER PAUL RYAN OFFERED PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP A PLAN THAT WOULD LET HOUSE LEGISLATORS

VOTE FOR AN AMNESTY — AND THEN VOTE AGAINST A BILL CONTAINING TRUMP'S BIG THREE IMMIGRATION

REFORMS, SOURCES TELL BREITBART NEWS.

THE RETIRING SPEAKER OFFERED THE DEBATE PLAN ON TUESDAY TO COUNTER THE GROUP OF 20-PLUS

PRO-MIGRATION GOP REPRESENTATIVES WHO ARE PUSHING FOR AN AMNESTY VIA A DISCHARGE PETITION.

THE DISCHARGE PETITION WOULD SCHEDULE A "QUEEN OF THE HILL" DEBATE AROUND FOUR BILLS WHICH

WOULD ENSURE PASSAGE OF AN AMNESTY BILL FOR AT LEAST 2 MILLION 'DACA' ILLEGALS.

RYAN ALSO WANTS AN AMNESTY, AND HIS PLAN, SOURCES SAID WEDNESDAY, LEVERAGES THE DISCHARGE-PETITION

PUSH TO PERSUADE TRUMP TO ALLOW HIS FOUR-PART PACKAGE OF IMMIGRATION REFORMS TO BE SPLIT

INTO A PROPOSED AMNESTY BILL AND A THREE-PART REFORM BILL.

THAT RYAN TWO-BILL SPLIT WOULD ALLOW ROUGHLY 40 BUSINESS-FIRST GOP LEGISLATORS TO VOTE

FOR AN AMNESTY AND ALLOW THEM TO BLOCK TRUMP'S REFORMS ON BORDER SECURITY, CHAIN-MIGRATION,

AND THE VISA-LOTTERY.

ONE SOURCE SAID THE AMNESTY BILL WOULD BE AN ADD-ON AMENDMENT TO THE REFORM BILL — AND

NEITHER MEASURE WOULD PASS UNLESS BOTH WON A MAJORITY.

THE TWO-BILL PLAN EMERGED FROM LEADERSHIP EFFORTS TO MANAGE THE DISCHARGE PETITION,

BUT IT LEAVES MAJORITY LEADER KEVIN MCCARTHY IN A DIFFICULT POSITION.

MCCARTHY INITIALLY ACCEPTED RYAN'S TWO-BILL PLAN, WHICH AIDS THE GOP'S PRO-MIGRATION

MEMBERS, INCLUDING HIS FELLOW CALIFORNIAN, REP.

JEFF DENHAM.

BUT THE LEADERS HAVE NOW RECOGNIZED THAT RYAN'S TWO-BILL PLAN CREATES MANY NEW PROBLEMS.

IT ALARMS THE GROWING CONSERVATIVE SIDE OF THE CAUCUS, IT ALIENATES THE GOP'S 2018

VOTERS, AND IT THREATENS MCCARTHY'S PLANS TO QUIETLY SLIP INTO THE HOUSE SPEAKER'S

JOB AFTER RYAN'S SCHEDULED DEPARTURE IN JANUARY, A SOURCE SAID.

IT ALSO TORPEDOES TRUMP'S REFORM STRATEGY BY SPLITTING THE BUSINESS-BACKED AMNESTY FROM

THE VOTER-BACKED REFORMS."

If Speaker Ryan's plan were to succeed, it would create a ton of problems for Republicans.

The biggest issue it would cause is alienation of Republican voters.

With the midterm elections just months away, a Republican push to grant amnesty to at least

two million DACA illegals could turn off a ton of pro-Trump voters.

If Republicans don't do well in the upcoming midterms and Democrats are able to take control

of Congress, it could end in the impeachment of President Trump.

Do you think Republicans should grant amnesty to DACA illegals?

TRUMP BLINDSIDES DEMOCRATS WITH $2 BILLION MOVE - Duration: 13:48.

TRUMP BLINDSIDES DEMOCRATS WITH $2 BILLION MOVE

Before he took office, Donald Trump promised that as president, he would do whatever it

took to make this country great again.

In his first 18 months in office, he has followed through with this promise time and time again,

much to the dismay of Democrats!

Right Wing News reported that Trump just blindsided Democrats by negotiating with Australia's

richest person to invest $2 Billion in the U.S. and creating 5,000 high-paying jobs.

In announcing his investment, Anthony Pratt credited Trump's business-friendly Tax Cuts

and Jobs Act of 2017.

"It's going to lead to a tsunami of investment in the United States," he said.

"We make corrugated boxes, everything that's manufactured goes in a box.

So we think we're a barometer of the economy."

Pratt, who is the executive chairman of Visy Industries and Pratt Industries in America,

has already built 70 factories in the U.S. and created more than 8,000 high-paying manufacturing

jobs since venturing into the American market 25 years ago.

"I'm here in the Midwest today celebrating the fact that beef and dairy exports are up

16%," Pratt added.

This comes after Trump hit back at Congresswoman Maxine Waters after she incited violence against

his supporters.

"For these members of his Cabinet who remain and try to defend him, they are not going

to be able to go to a restaurant, they are not going to be able to stop at a gas station,

they are not going to be able to shop in a department store," Waters said, according

to Mediaite.

"The people are going to turn on them, they are gonna protest, they are gonna absolutely

harass them."

Trump was not having any of this, however.

"Congresswoman Maxine Waters, an extraordinarily low IQ person, has become, together with Nancy

Pelosi, the Face of the Democrat Party.

She has just called for harm to supporters, of which there are many, of the Make America

Great Again movement.

Be careful what

you

wish

for Max!" Trump tweeted.

Ivanka Trump claims she advised her father on zero tolerance policy - 247 news - Duration: 3:26.

Ivanka Trump is claiming that she was a key player in the discussions which led to her father's decision to end his zero tolerance policy

The White House advisor told Maria Bartiromo on Friday that she spoke with her father prior to his signing of an executive order that effectively ended his administration's policy of separating families at the border

Ivanka, who had not made any public remarks for weeks prior to the interview, did not elaborate, and Bartiromo asked for no details from her guest before ending the segment

Scroll down for video  That interview came just hours after it was revealed that Ivanka's top family-leave adviser was going on her own sabbatical, with Politico the first to report that Maggie Cordish was exiting her role at The White House

Cordish is Ivanka's best friend and the pair were fixtures on the New York social scene before Cordish moved to Maryland with her husband Reed

The couple were set up by the first daughter and her husband Jared Kushner, with Reed also holding a White House job until earlier this year alongside his wife

Cordish even changed her party affiliation from Democrat to undecided days after the inauguration before joining Ivanka in her paid-leave work

Share this article Share Ivanka sat down with Bartiromo on her Fox Business Network show Mornings with Maria

A majority of the interview involved the host lauding her guest and all the great things she and the administration have been doing for the economy

Many of the questions were so leading that Ivanka, who was joined at first by Steve Mnuchin and later Treasurer Jovita Carranza, had only to reply 'yes' or 'no

' Bartiromo saved the topic of President Trump's zero tolerance policy for the very last question

'Where you also a voice, a whisper in your fathers ear in terms of the family's separated at the boarder,' asked Bartiromo

'I mean Melania obviously our first lady was very moved by it, went to the boarder twice

Did you also say something to him in terms of before he signed that executive order?'Ivanka responded: 'Of course

I have very strong opinions on that topic.'She did not respond any further to the question

Ivanka has been widely criticized for her silence throughout the weeks that the controversial policy was being enacted

She only spoke up after her father signed an executive order that put a stop to separating children from their parents at the border

Her silence was made all the more glaring when First Lady Melania Trump released a statement that was critical of her husband's policy

Ivanka has now returned to her very public role in thye administration, and on Thursday presented the Trafficking in Persons report alongside Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

She did not however make any public remarks.Ivanka was also silent on Friday at a White House event to mark the six-month anniversary of the administration's new tax plans

Soon after she headed out of DFC to Bedminster with her husband and youngest son on Marine One

Melania Trump 'Disgusted' By Donald After Meeting Migrant Kids: She Wants To Fight For Them - Daily - Duration: 3:02.

Melania and Donald Trump's marriage took another hit after she visited migrant kids at the border

FLOTUS is 'disgusted', we learned exclusively, and she wants to help!    Despite her "I don't care" jacket, Melania Trump is deeply invested in the welfare of the kids trapped at detention centers at the US-Mexico border, we've learned EXCLUSIVELY

Her experiences at these facilities — seeing the kids who are detained and the conditions they're living in firsthand — are driving an even bigger rift between her and husband Donald Trump

She may be first lady, but she's a mother first! "When Melania first saw the news reports about immigrant children being separated from their parents she immediately felt it was wrong," a source close to FLOTUS told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY

"And as a mother she knew she had to act. Seeing the devastation that [the policy has] caused makes her feel truly ashamed

"    What she's seen in her two visits to "tender age" shelters in McAllen, TX, and Tucson, AZ have left her thoroughly distraught

She's been all smiles in the televised parts of her appearances, but behind the scenes tells a different story

There are over 2000 migrant children housed in these facilities across the United States after they were ripped from their families

Their relatives were only trying to seek asylum in this country after fleeing danger in their own, but they're all being treated like criminals

At some facilities, the children are allegedly kept in cages, only given mylar blankets to sleep with, and reportedly allowed outside for just a couple hours a day

What does that sound like to you? Prison. This situation has grown more absurd by the day, the latest development being toddlers making court appearances to appeal their own detainment

You read that right. Melania, like many Americans, has had enough, says the source

"The more Melania learns about the immigration crisis and the more children she meets, the more her heart breaks," they told us

"And she's become more disgusted at Donald and the policies he's been pushing.  "Talking to the children proved to her that she was right to dismiss Donald's claims that migrants are criminals and actors who are trying to come to the USA to cause harm to the American people

Seeing the desperation and sadness in the faces of little children tears Melania apart

It has strengthened her resolve to fight for them."  We'll see if the first lady puts her money where her mouth is and truly does something to help these defenseless children

Hopefully she can be the person who finally gets it through her husband's head that this needs to stop, once and for all

'NeverTrump' Movement Suffers Defeat After Trump Sets A Sky-High Record - Duration: 3:13.

'NeverTrump' Movement Suffers Defeat After Trump Sets A Sky-High Record

Remember Never Trumpers?

During the 2016 Presidential election, a tribe within the conservative movement was strongly

opposed to the nomination of Donald Trump.

Even as it became more and more clear that Trump was going to win the nomination, so-called

conservatives tried to undermine him.

They were incapable of believing Trump meant what he said about putting Americans first.

Either that, or these "Never Trumpers" didn't want a president who put America

first, much like their buddies on the left.

Still today, there is a contingent of "conservatives" who stand against Trump, and it doesn't

make any sense.

Amazing things are happening here and around the world.

What kind of idiot conservative would oppose that?

Well, as it turns out, very few still hate on Trump… in fact, that vast majority of

Republicans are in love with our POTUS.

From Breitbart:

"The latest polling shows President Trump enjoying record support from Republicans,

proving once again just how little influence and moral authority Never Trump has.

A recent Gallup poll shows that 90 percent of Republicans support the president.

According to the New York Times (a far-left outlet that regularly spreads fake news),

other than the historic outlier of George W. Bush in the aftermath of the September

11 terrorist attacks, no Republican president in this poll's history has garnered 90 percent

support from Republican voters at this point in a first term.

Trump's historic level of support from within his own Party is not only a tribute to the

president's verifiable successes at home and abroad (tax cuts, booming economy, regulation

reform, gutting Obamacare, North Korea under control, the Islamic State all but vanquished,

no stupid neocon wars)…

…it is also a testament to just how marginalized, tribal, and extreme the failed Never Trump

movement has become."

This is big news.

Even Reagan, one of our greatest presidents, didn't enjoy these kinds of numbers.

It makes sense, though.

Republicans are pleased that Trump is making good on his promises.

As the fake news media pushes one pathetic attack after another, Americans are seeing

a president who refuses to back down.

His achievements in the first two years of his term have been historic:

He scored a massive tax cut.

He slashed job-killing regulation.

He de-fanged Obamacare.

Companies are investing in America.

The wall is going up (hopefully).

Then there's the world-shattering progress with North Korea, which should earn Trump

the Nobel Peace Prize.

What could conservatives be upset about?

Overall, every American is benefitting from more money in their paychecks, increased opportunity,

and greater national security.

Perhaps the few "Never Trumpers" that still remain should just give up.

What do you think about this?

Trump Destroyed Bill And Hillary Clinton With One Tweet - Duration: 11:14.

Trump Destroyed Bill And Hillary Clinton With One Tweet

Hillary Clinton crawled back into the spotlight once again to lob attacks at Donald Trump.

She lost her mind over his speech at the U.N. General Assembly where he tagged Kim Jong

Un with the nickname "Rocket Man."

But Trump fired back and destroyed both Bill and Hillary Clinton with one tweet.

During Trump's speech, he declared Kim Jon Un – whom he labeled as "Rocket Man"

– was on a suicide mission by continuing to develop nuclear weapons.

Trump said the United States would destroy North Korea if they threatened America or

her allies.

Trump's "Rocket Man" nickname for the North Korean tyrant was a big hit and other

world leaders quickly adopted it.

But not everyone was pleased.

Hillary Clinton appeared at one of her safe spaces – Stephen Colbert's late night

comedy show – and attacked the speech as "dark" and "dangerous". Trump immediately

fired back.

He pointed out he was only in this dangerous situation because of the Clintons.

Trump correctly noted that in 1994, then-President Bill Clinton made a deal with the North Koreans

where they obtained fuel and nuclear power plants in exchange for freezing their weapons

program.

The deal failed and North Korea gained the wherewithal to develop nuclear missiles.

Hillary Clinton – as Secretary of State – presided over Barack Obama's policy

of "strategic patience."

This amounted to doing nothing and hoping someone else would clean up the mess.

Now that Trump is taking steps to correct the Clintons errors, they are heckling him

from the peanut gallery.

► KELLYANNE CONWAY I SENIOR COUNSELOR TO THE PRESIDENT TRUMP-PUTIN SUMMIT - Duration: 13:39.

let's get to it now their headliner killing untimely lives on North Lawn

Senior Council the president joins us now from the White House and Kellyanne

good morning and welcome back it's it's a Friday and you are in you're in the

hot seat here okay so let's get to the Supreme Court first what is the state of

the process if there is not yet a short list of nominees where's the president's

head on this well you saw just last night the president returned from a

two-day trip out meeting with Americans and came here and met with senators from

both parties because it is the Senate's job constitutionally to advise and

consent the president on such matters and the president is taking to account

their advice at the same time it will be a presidential decision this president

owing back to the campaign for two straight years now bill has been very

transparent and therefore accountable with respect to the type of person and

indeed the specific individuals he would consider to put on the nation's highest

court yes as you just mentioned the elevated justice nail Gorsuch he's been

an outstanding jurist in his first term and a half on the Supreme Court but look

also at what the president has done in the u.s. circuit courts there are 21

confirmed judges on the US circuit courts one out of eight US Circuit

judges right now is a trump appointee and so we we already see the way the

president approaches this I think Neil Gorsuch and his confirmation hearings

put it best when it came to some of these hot-button issues like abortion

where he said it's settled precedent and it's not my job is not relevant whether

I like a particular precedent or don't and I know people on the other side who

are really losing and every turn these days politically then practically they

are going to try to make this about one or two issues we know that this that the

Supreme Court covers any number of issues under the Constitution in a given

term just this past week and last week they decided cases on the impropriety of

using unions use compelling people to use them for political purposes

obviously they they ruled in the president's favor and the travel ban

they have released opinions very recently on on internet taxes so the

court is very active breath of issues this president has says

he will choose from that list and he's been very clear in his appointments we

make to the type of jurists that he likes not to do does he make a decision

before the summit with Vladimir Putin into an athlete's he may I don't think

that the timeline has anything to do with a summit this is a president as we

all know is the original and unbelievably peripatetic multitasker he

does many different things at a given day moment and week I think the sheer

volume the velocity of the way he works is mind-numbing to many people I find it

to be a privilege so I don't think that a timeline is going to be according to a

summit so much as the president takes very seriously a Supreme Court vacancy

and knows that we should we should move with some dispatch in filling that

vacancy down as a maybe then based on the timeline for July 6 things was a guy

who moves with alacrity on everything as you know so maybe sooner maybe sooner

maybe sooner I think that person could be confirmed this year why not okay that

being said Kellyanne this upcoming summit with the president and Vladimir

Putin what does president Trump what is he heading into that summit hoping to

accomplish and get done the president has made very clear a couple of things

one is to improve relations with countries and its leaders where we can

where it makes sense for the United States of America and for peace-loving

people everywhere to improve relationships and this president

followed the same model that he that he did with the Singapore summit and mr.

Kim with Russia meaning he sent over one of his top diplomats one of his top

security officials in the case of North Korea secretary Pompeo in the case of

Russia NSC director NASA security adviser Ambassador John Bolton and that

person goes over there and lays the groundwork we got other people working

on logistics and this president has said from the beginning that he is willing to

talk to leaders when it is in the best interest of America if Russia and the

United States of America can work on national security issues together the

president will do that but at the same time this president has had no

reluctance whatsoever to push back when he has felt Susan

there's Russian officials I'd like to know that push your back on the side and

and I just want to say one more thing you had President Obama whispering and a

hot mic that he would have more flexibility after the next election you

have this president as transparent as can be on going away to be president but

to have a summit like this you gotta get some sort of win-win on each side and

what is the win/win for Vladimir Putin what is the win/win for President Trump

is it some sort of deal on Syria is that is that where the ground could move well

the wind winds and having the conversation to begin with but another

win would be the president's vision with respect to Syria this president has

pushed back on Assad twice when he's gassed his own people with the support

of Russia continuing the conversation about a nuclear capable North Korea and

nuclear capable of ran I mean this presidents been so active around the

globe to not involve Russia in some of these conversations and I'm sure because

this is what the media will say to is what are you talking about with respect

to interference and elections everything's on the table you know when

mr. Putin and President Trump met the last time that particular one-on-one

meeting lasted much longer than quote people anticipate on why they were

anticipating a certain timeline and it covered an array of topics and you can

expect that to happen again meanwhile what a hearing that was

yesterday Kellyanne you know Christopher Rea rod rose and signed the heads of the

FBI and the DOJ sat in a hearing room and faced a grilling from Republican

lawmakers with the president able to to witness a few of those exchanges what

were his thoughts when he looked at really the anger and frustration that we

continue to see in this case from House Republicans over lack of documents

getting handed over and lack of quite frankly questions getting answered well

again you see the transparency and accountability of the process that was a

televised a briefing folks are under oath when they're answering those

questions and director Ray and Deputy Attorney General

rod Rosen Stein made clear that they feel they are they are complying with

the request some of the Republicans and others disagree the house obviously

passed a bill yesterday or past a festival and it's evolution yeah

resolution yeah excuse me and and the fact is that people do it is true that

many Americans are tiring with the length of the process here that is

absolutely true if you look at the polls the number of people who are saying that

the investigation is a good idea has it gone on too long is it interfering with

other things fortunately the present United States

does not allow it to interfere with his major duties which is to be the chief

economic steward of our nation's economy it could not be doing any better than it

is we're having this six-month tax cut and Jobs Act anniversary together here

today grazie yeah Benghazi going on for two and a

half years that I know the Republic is it fresh to the comparison no specific

question I know the president was traveling Wisconsin yesterday did he

watch the hearing did he watch any of it Kellyanne well he can access clips any

time he wants and he's aware he's fully briefed on everything of that nature he

certainly knows that he certainly knew that the hearing was taking place he

certainly knows some of the highlights of not the specifics and everybody's

been playing on their choice and they're they're chosen and curated clips from

the last day so I think the president could not be more clear he tweets about

it and puts it on social media off and he talks about it freely often that he

believes this is a witch hunt and that there is no collusion he he goes back to

what we were promised at the very beginning of this which is that this

changed votes and he wasn't duly elected that's all a load of bunk and everybody

knows it he was duly and democratically elected he doesn't let any of it get in

his way of presiding over the strongest economy in generations if not our

lifetimes if not ever and continuing to meet with leaders here in America but

across the globe and at different summits to try to bring more peace and

prosperity wherever you men chief of staff what are the plans there

what is the president actively doing right now as as far as looking for a

replacement I don't understand these stories in that the media sort of like

ants on a sugar cube always go and focus on one thing it seems to come up every

month or two or three months if I went back and I looked at a bunch of

inquiries from February four December and now from June they all say

the same thing I try not to respond to them to allow the pressure op and others

to do that but here you got responses directly from the President and from our

chief of staff John Kelly yesterday that it's all news to them we have no talent

I'm sorry that this is popping out I'm delighted to serve under chief of staff

Kelly and I work with whomever the president asked me to work with here in

the West Wing and across his administration but I know that it's

easier and maybe more fun for folks to to play the Paula game and learning the

intricacies of policy since again stuff goes so quickly here but I guess

eventually everybody's going to leave it eventually everybody who said people are

going to leave will be right just not dominate the coverage I know the

Europeans felt like just just to be specific about it

general Kelly is staying is that what you're saying as far as I know general

Kelly wants to stay and he is staying he hasn't said anything differently to me

and I come here to work every day with the team that the president has asked us

all to work with and we do I find this place to be much more streamlined and

much more sophisticated and running in a very good way a year and a half into the

presidency and we don't run around wondering who's leaving next who's going

to be forced out we get to work every day and there's so much on our plate as

you know that's just not one of them okay you bet well what does the White

House have to say given the shooting in Annapolis just for you well it's a it's

a horrible tragedy what we're trying to I think us being all of America

is pieced together that this person the shooter this murderer had some kind of

grievance against this paper obviously it filed a lawsuit lost that lawsuit and

seems to have been very active on social media very threatening it seems to me

and about this paper and went in yesterday and did what he did the

president expressed his sympathies it continues to be briefed by the FBI and

others and we'll continue to talk about this as the different facts develop but

obviously people who go to work every day innocent Americans should not have

this as an occupational hazard and I think is our press secretary made clear

last night in a on innocent journalists innocent

Americans attack on all of us what's the president's plans next week a

lot of people a fourth of July week and he's gonna be making a trip out to

Montana yes the plan is for him to go to Montana on July 5th and the day before

the president the first lady will host for the second consecutive year the

military families here at a picnic and then later celebrate America's

Independence our 240 second year of our nation's independence out here on the

South Lawn the fireworks display for all to see and we're very excited because

it's a great celebration of our nation's independence and this president has done

a great deal to advance the cause of democracy and freedom everything from

economic freedom to national security and freedom and our ability to be free

and prosperous and should be a great joy yeah you came out to talk about taxes

six-month anniversary today what do you think the impact of the tax plan has

been on America today go ahead and sell it easy votes they're very it's been

very positive any metric that you look at the confidence number is historic

confidence numbers among consumers among small business owners among

manufacturers the job creation the growth numbers all the critics saying is

that you can never even get it above 3% that's fantasy its projected to be well

above 4% and that I think what it's done in addition to giving the millions of

Americans hardworking Americans the bonuses and the raises it has a

stimulated growth and a buoyancy and optimism in our economy that people feel

free to move around in the job market six point seven million available jobs

now it outpaces the number of actual job seekers so that gives people freedom to

think about their next job or the next career move

also the repatriation a word that Americans really should learn more

handily because you're going to hear a lot of it bill and Sondra repatriation

of 300 billion dollars so far that was wealth parked legally overseas that now

these companies can bring back the corporations that were that people said

they're not going to vet they're investing in their workplace or in

record investing in their workforce and and also you see this child care tax

credit people feel like they can make more free decisions I think the number

one the number one byproduct of tax cuts is freedom it's individual freedom and

liberty hey listen thanks for being here today we've covered a lot of ground and

have a great weekend happy July 4th to you and every bear
