Trump news on Youtube Jun 30 2018

Mr Trump is set to meet the Queen during his trip to the UK, which is scheduled to commence on July 13, and US ambassador Robert Wood Johnson has confirmed his trip will include an audience with Britain's Head of State – although Buckingham Palace has not commented

And Mr Fitzwilliams, the former editor of The International Who's Who, said staff close to Her Majesty were certain to be approaching the meeting, which he believes will happen at Windsor Castle, with some trepidation

He said: "They are dealing with somebody who is completely unpredictable and no doubt there is a certain amount of concern about how it will all go

"The actual visit will probably pass off with lots of controversy but no actual problems

"The security aspect will be gigantic, obviously."The problem with Mr Trump is that you never absolutely know what he is going to do

"I don't think the Queen herself will be concerned _ she's used to meeting a large number of different Presidents, as well as other dignitaries

"There is a story, possibly apocryphal, that when the Ceaușescus visited in 1978, she detested them so much she actually hid behind a bush in the gardens of Buckingham Palace to avoid them

"She has literally seen every kind of monarch and leader and nothing will phase her

"Nevertheless, I think her staff are probably likely to be looking forward to getting this one out of the way

"Mr Trump's visit is a precursor to his official State visit, the date of which has yet to be fixed

After Prime Minister Theresa May extended the invitation in 2016, a Parliamentary petition was launched which stated: "Donald Trump should be allowed to enter the UK in his capacity as head of the US Government, but he should not be invited to make an official State Visit because it would cause embarrassment to Her Majesty the Queen

" It quickly attracted the 100,000 signatures necessary to be debated in Parliament, with this happening on February 20, 2017, with 1,863,708 people having signed it as of today

With Mr Trump due to arrive in less than three weeks' time, details of his visit remain scarce

It is unclear as to whether he will meet the Royal Princes for example, or Prince Harry's new American wife Meghan Markle, a staunch supporter of Mr Trump's opponent Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential election

However, widespread protests are anticipated over the New Yorker's controversial immigration policies and comments about women

SUPREME COURT UPHOLDS TRUMP TRAVEL BAN - Duration: 18:00.

early within the scope of presidential authority under federal law the sole

prerequisite set forth in federal laws that the president find that the entry

of the covered aliens would be detrimental to the interests of the

United States the president has undoubtedly fulfilled that requirement

here says Chief Justice Roberts what does this say this decision by the

Supreme Court judge say about presidential authority and and its range

that it cannot be second-guessed by the courts it's a great question Sondra this

really goes to the heart of the difference between the majority and the

minority the the dissenters would question whether or not the president

had a basis for this decision and whether that basis was an animus against

Muslims the majority is ruling we will not question the president's basis

unless it is so irrational that nobody could accept it so if the president says

2+2 equals 22 the court is not bound by it but if the president says it is more

likely than not that harm will come to the country Oh harm will come to the

United States by the unbridled admission of people from these seven countries the

court is in no position to second-guess him because the court lacks the tools

with which the second-guess him and the president has enormous tools available

to him in the executive branch from which to come to that conclusion what do

the opponents do well Eric this is a preliminary ruling this is not the final

ruling by that by that I mean that somebody trying to enter the United

States in Brooklyn or trying to answer the United States and Honolulu from one

of those seven countries can still make an application to enter they can't claim

in that application that the travel ban is unconstitutional but they can claim

that it doesn't apply to them by demonstrating that they are not harmful

to the country and they will produce good when they come here that's for

trial courts to decide but whatever the trial courts do when

they hear those applications and trust me those applications will come the

trial courts are bound by the Supreme Court's ruling today which is that this

ban is in force and as lawful and is going to be enforced at all the entry

points starting this afternoon do you think that there was a hint that this

was eventually going to be the outcome of this judge back into summer when they

actually let travel ban 3.0 be fully implemented yes and it was that great

observation said where it was the same five to four vote that allowed it to be

implemented at the time look there's not going to be any change at the port of

entry as a result of the Supreme Court decision today except that the

procedures will be permanent the the immigration people won't be walking on

eggs wondering if they're going to lose their their authority this Authority is

now permanent as long as Donald Trump as president or unless he decides to

rescind it he may very well call up kim jongwan and say I'm taking you off the

list well that would change some things if

anybody's allowed to leave North Korea and come here because the president

wrote this executive order he can modify it or unright it however he wants but

unless changed by this president or a successor it remains the law of the land

does this give him the president expanded powers over this issue that he

could expand this disorder and to involve other countries or other issues

yes yes the president could amend this order and include Mexico if he wanted to

now again he would have to make findings that people coming from Mexico are

harmful to the national security of the United States but the Supreme Court has

said if the findings are rational we will not second-guess them as long as I

can I use my silly example as long as he doesn't say two plus two equals twenty

two we are not going to second-guess the president no matter what his political

rhetoric is so this opinion may very well give some poof if you will do

Donald Trump the president to help resolve the problems that we've all been

ringing all hands over at the United States Mexico border in the past two

weeks fair to say judge that this is the first significant legal test of

this administration's policies in power it's the first significant test of this

administration's legal policies and power with respect to immigration

absolutely and it's a wringing uncompromising endorsement of the

choices the legal and constitutional choices made by President Donald Trump

all right judge we're just learning that the remaining two opinions will be

released tomorrow the court now is recessed for now so that is the big

bombshell today that the President of the United States reacted to it by

saying simply Wow all right Judge Andrew Napolitano thank you for jumping on this

breaking news for us pleasure so the Supreme Court has upheld the Trump

travel ban travel ban 3.0 as it has been called of Chief Justice Roberts writing

that the in the majority opinion the proclamation is squarely within the

scope of presidential authority under federal law reject rejecting claims of

discrimination in that travel ban we will have more on this coming up at the

top of the hour join us for a new hour are you is the top of the hour and we

have a Fox News Alert for you a big victory for the Trump administration the

Supreme Court upholding the president's travel ban welcome to a brand new hour

of America's newsroom I'm Sandra Smith why had a busy morning this morning

Sandra hello everyone I'm owner Shaun infield bill hemmer you know it was a

five-to-four decision the justices endorsing the president's authority to

regulate immigration upholding selective travel restrictions into our country

from several mostly Muslim nations Jessie bream is live at the Supreme

Court for us Shannon a big morning there the latest and has been and for right

now this is a celebration for the White House and for the Trump administration

because the 5-4 decision for now is in their favor the Chief Justice writing

for the majority says this by its plain language the federal law the immigration

law here grants the president broad discretion to suspend the entry of

aliens into the United States the president lawfully exercised that

discretion based on findings following a worldwide multi-agency

that entry of the covered aliens would be detrimental to the national interest

there were a number of agencies including homeland security in the State

Department that tried to work with countries around the globe and said

listen if you could provide us the specific information that we have

confidence that people have been vetted from your country before they come to

ours if you can't keep up with those vetting requirements or choose not to

you're going to be on the list of those who are banned now some countries have

actually worked their way off the list but many remain on that list and today

in a 5-4 decision the court found that for now that is the right decision and

this is going to be sent back down to the lower court there's going to be more

legal procedure happening with that but with now the force and the thrust of the

Supreme Court precedent acting and talking about what the president's

powers are in the executive branch there was a lot of argument about whether or

not the president's comments during the campaign and after his election should

be factored in the plaintiff cited numerous things we talked about a Muslim

ban or shutting down the borders this is what the Chief Justice wrote he said the

proclamation is expressly premise on legitimate purposes preventing entry of

nationals who cannot be adequately vetted and inducing other nations to

improve their practices the text says nothing about religion he says yes there

are some heavily Muslim dominant countries that are included but that

fact alone does not support an inference of religious hostility given that the

policy covers just 8% of the world's Muslim population and is limited to

countries that were previously designated by Congress not this

administration or prior administrations as opposing national security risks as

you would imagine there were two very scathing dissents I would say the most

heated came from justice Sotomayor who thinks this court got it totally wrong

by ignoring what the President had to say outside the text of this

proclamation she writes in her dissent the United States of America is a nation

built upon the promise of religious liberty our founders honored that core

promise by embedding the principle of religious neutrality in the First

Amendment the court's decision today fails to safeguard that fundamental

principle it leaves undisturbed a policy first

advertised openly and unequivocally in she quotes here as a quote total and

complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States because the policy now

she says a masquerades behind a facade of national

concerns so for now the ban is upheld that this Court finds five to four that

the president was within his authority based on the text of immigration laws

the text of this travel ban he's done the right thing but now it goes back to

the lower court reversing their decision and telling them now to re well to

thoroughly decide this case on the merits now based on this guidance that

they've gotten from the Supreme Court so it's possible the case ends up back here

but now it goes back to the lower court it's a win today for the white house as

they celebrate and Shannon quickly as far as any further decisions coming down

not today tomorrow though and a day extension in the term yeah we have

another day coming either Wednesday or Thursday and we're gonna get that big

union dues case we've been watching whether public sector employees can be

forced to join a union or forced to pay fees to a union whose political message

they don't agree with could impact millions of people across the country so

it's a big decision that will have a huge impact on unions in this country

we'll get it tomorrow or Thursday and we'll look forward to that meanwhile all

about the travel ban shannon bream outside of the Supreme Court thank you

Anna Shannon just said a big win for the white house and that is where John

Roberts is live in the North Lawn with reaction from the president Johnny had

one succinct specific word in his reaction to this decision

yeah Eric good morning to you the president clearly happy at least in the

initial read of the Supreme Court decision tweeting out a short time ago

Supreme Court upholds Trump travel ban Wow

exclamation mark the White House continues to read through this decision

though because it needs to figure out exactly what this means particularly the

part the part about it being remanded back to the lower courts that have been

the Ninth Circuit and the Fourth Circuit and so the White House does not know

what the ultimate outcome of this is but on the surface at least the fact that

the majority in the Supreme Court has thrown its support behind the

president's authority to enact a travel ban based on national security purposes

is a big win for the White House now the president all along had said that he

thought that the first travel ban should never have been rescinded of course this

is the third iteration of that the first one was attacked in the courts quite

roundly after it was first released but the president always maintained that he

didn't like this didn't like the third one he thought

that the first one should have should have held and I wouldn't expect that the

president will go back to that first one but certainly you know he will probably

stick by his guns that I do have the authority to initiate a ban like this

and therefore that one probably should have stood all along it is important to

point out that while the Supreme Court found that this was not a quote Muslim

ban this was simply a ban of individuals from certain countries that couldn't be

vetted properly Eric the president did on several occasions at least during the

political campaign the presidential campaign say that there was a need for a

Muslim ban so we're expecting a statement from the White House soon

again the White House counsel's office the president through the communications

shop all just reading through this to see exactly what it means but we should

have a statement from them shortly Eric and John do we know one will have more

than a statement will exceed from the President himself and get his reaction

does he have a photo opportunity or an event for the media today there are a

couple of events on the calendar right now in a Medal of Honor ceremony this

afternoon it's not likely that he would say anything about it during the Medal

of Honor ceremony but the first two events are closed but I would expect

that they'll probably open one of those up to the pool particularly based on

this ruling from the Supreme Court and we happen to be the pool network today

so if the president's got something to say I'll be there in person to hear it

all right and we'll bring it to you live to our viewers of course live when the

president reacts personally to this ruling

thank you John Thanks joining us now is Georgia Republican congressman Doug

Collins a member of the House Judiciary Committee and vice chair of the House

GOP conference congressman good morning and and thanks for coming on the program

and we have you on minutes after this travel ban a ruling came down your

thoughts my thought is is the Supreme Court did what they should do and that

was if the President does have the authority he had the latitude to look in

the national security and best interest of our country they'd followed the law

instead of activist courts or judges who decided to make up their own law when

they said nothing about the previous administration many times doing things

by executive yeah they said this is proper in this regard and I think the

sprinkler ruling here how do you think that this

decision is going to play out in the in the broader context of the immigration

debate that is happening in this country right now well I think it wanted

confirms that that the problem the president did what he thought was right

and they have confirmed that and they've sent it back to the lower court to

interpret it under the Supreme Court's ruling on presidential authority which

is a good thing but I think it also brings to highlight

that we need to actually solve the problem of immigration that we have

going on in our country and we need to make sure it's done in a proper way with

security with compassion with the things that the president the four pillars that

he's talked about many times and I think he is the one that actually has said

let's solve this problem and he's made it very clear that this is not a

political issue we've got to move beyond the political issue at the Democrats

seem to like to have and say what can we do to actually solve this problem so

that we have good safe legal immigration of which we're the most generous in the

world considering the headlines right now or that this is a big win for the

Trump administration congressman how will this play out politically how will

this affect a you know the way the administration decides to move forward

with us well I think they'll be continued to decide to move forward in

the way that they have especially on the travel ban I think they'll continue that

process looking at it from the national security interest but I think it's also

going to give impetus I think maybe hope on Capitol Hill to deal with immigration

to deal with the other issues that have been involved in he's been very

outspoken about this this president wants to solve it but he's only do it

the right way the president is not willing to do a half-hearted attempt

it's something that he doesn't believe him he's going to get behind it we're

looking to do that in the house we're looking to hopefully get the Senate on

board of this but we do need to solve it's American people need stability on

both sides of the aisle we need to solve this issue and quit the political games

of making sure that our borders are secure that we're having a verifiable

system inside for businesses to actually hire people and have our economy take

care of but also keeping those out that do not need to be here when you keep

crossing illegally yeah this is obviously the first big

Supreme Court decision to come in on this administration's policies so

considering it is being viewed as a win the five-to-four opinion this was

written by Chief Justice John Roberts it found that this restriction this travel

ban fell squarely within the president's authority obviously this is going to be

talked about in the context of what the president's Authority is when it comes

to immigration how do you feel about that well I think it's it follows the

law in many cases here what we got to understand is the president is the chief

executive officer when it comes in especially his number one for mode

opinion is to actually take care of the national security interest that was

where this issue was framed he framed it as a national security interest he

framed it as a need to make sure people are properly vetted coming from places

in the world that do not like us there are people all around the world who hate

us simply because we are free they don't know closely we want to come here

legally the ones who want to come to find fun we need to find places for them

but the president said those of you who want to do us harm we're gonna make sure

we have the proper vetting in place to make this happen and the Supreme Court

upheld that saying this - chief the commander in chief has the national

security responsibilities clearly in his wheelhouse

yes Sotomayor the Supreme Court justice as she found she was a dissenter in this

she said a reasonable observer would conclude that the proclamation was

motivated by anti-muslim animus and she was joined in dissent by Justice Ruth

Bader Ginsburg they did not mince words and their dissent of this ruling well I

think the problem is as I was in law school you actually dealt with words on

paper not emotions and feelings that you saw that maybe came out from somewhere

that they're implying words on paper matter in this town and it shouldn't

matter across the country the ban it was put out you know executive order form it

said what it needed to say and it said it in the proper context of executive

authority I think for them to come back and want to take in the opinions of

others and what they think may or may not have taken it into account is again

judicial bias in many ways to say this is what we

would have preferred but when they come to the law maybe they should go back and

remember what they actually learned or taught in law school but you actually

look at the letter of law well we got the White House reaction to this a short

time ago a simple seven word tweet by President Trump himself Supreme Court

upholds Trump travel ban Wow says the president congressman thank you good to

have you on this morning and get your reaction to this breaking news great to

be with you take care thank you all right Sandra we'll have much more on

what is seen as a major victory a legal victory by the Trump administration in

just a moment as the Supreme Court upholds the travel ban five to four in a

moment law professor Jonathan Turley will be here to give us his take on this

historic ruling

AWKS! Meghan Markle who SLAMMED 'misogynist' Donald Trump 'to be royal dinner partners' - Duration: 4:07.

Palace sources are keeping tight-lipped about the finer details of just which of the royals will also be in attendance with Queen Elizabeth but at least one royal expert says the royal entourage could well include Meghan

Which may prove a tad awkward - as Prince Harry's new bride has well-documented opinions on Donald Trump – and not all of them are glowing

Prior to the 2016 US election, Meghan aired her views on a television talk show, declaring that she was prepared to leave the US and live in Canada if Mr Trump was elected

Speaking on Comedy Central's Nightly Show, hosted by Larry Wilmore, she said: "We film Suits in Toronto and I might just stay in Canada

I mean, come on. "If that's really the reality that we are talking about, come on, that is really a game changer in terms of how we move in the world here

" "Trump is divisive. Think about just female voters alone.  "I think it was in 2012, the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points

"That's a huge number and with someone as misogynistic as Trump is and so vocal about it, that's a huge chunk of it

" Of course five years ago she was an up-coming American actress rather than a senior member of the British royal family

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said: "Donald Trump's visit is a working visit not a state visit which would be very different

"The official itinerary has not been announced but we know he will be meeting the Queen at Windsor as the American Ambassador has said so

"Prime Minister Theresa May rashly promised Trump a state visit just after he became President

Only two American Presidents have had this honour, and if that happens it might well include Meghan as our first American princess – irrespective of what her private views might be

" He added it was likely that during the visit other members of the royal family would attend an official banquet which could see Meghan and Harry and Donald and Melania Trump as dinner partners

He said: "We know Meghan's thoughts on Trump before she was married it would be up to the royal family to choose who attended such an event if and when it happens

"The emphasis is obviously on goodwill, visits by American Presidents are intended to reinforce the "special relationship" and Britain needs America's co-operation in a post-Brexit deal

" Windsor castle will be closed to the public on 13 July, for the President's visit

Express.co.uk contacted Kensington Palace, for an official comment on the Duchess' plans during the US president's visit but they declined

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to visit Ireland from July 10th to July 11th, in their first official trip as a married couple, and are expected to return when Mr Trump arrives in the country

Britons have planned a nationwide protest against Mr Trump' arrival to the UK, with thousands planning to march London's streets

The US president is expected to avoid the capital to prevent being exposed to mass protests

Fashion Notes: Melania Trump Struts in Flower Power Pants, Bright Stilettos for Weekend Getaway - Duration: 8:37.

First Lady Melania Trump strutted out of the White House on Friday, bringing the flower power in a pair of cigarette pants, alongside President Trump and their family for a weekend getaway in New Jersey

As of late, Mrs. Trump has focused much of her style attention on pants. Yesterday, Mrs

Trump rocked a sporty chic look in a pair of ivory palazzo pants, as Breitbart News noted

On Friday, it was all about bold sunshine tones and flower power. Mrs. Trump stepped out of the White House in a menswear-inspired white button-down, a pair of Erdem floral print slim-leg pants, and bright yellow Manolo Blahnik stilettos

Mrs. Trump's Erdem pants retail for $895 and are made in Italy. The summer fashion ensemble was paired with Mrs

Trump's faded black shades for that extra cool vibe. U.S. President Donald Trump (R), first lady Melania Trump (2nd L), their son Barron Trump (L), and mother-in-law Amalija Knavs (3rd L) walk on the South Lawn of the White House prior to a Marine One departure June 29, 2018 in Washington, DC

Paul Ryan Just Looked Trump Square In The Eye And Betrayed Him - Duration: 12:25.

Paul Ryan Just Looked Trump Square In The Eye And Betrayed Him

House Speaker Paul Ryan recently revealed that he will not seek re-election.

So during his past few months in office, he doesn't have to worry about what voters

think of him.

And with that new freedom, Paul Ryan just looked Trump square in the eye and betrayed

him.

Speaker Ryan offered President Trump a plan on immigration that would let House legislators

vote for amnesty, and then vote against a bill containing Trump's three big immigration

reforms.

His plan uses another GOP amnesty plan around 20 representatives are pushing as leverage

to persuade Trump to remove the DACA amnesty portion of the current immigration bill, and

place it in a separate bill.

This would allow a large number of Representatives who are weak on illegal immigration to vote

for amnesty, and also vote against Trump's immigration plan, which includes funding for

a border wall.

As reported by Breitbart:

"HOUSE SPEAKER PAUL RYAN OFFERED PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP A PLAN THAT WOULD LET HOUSE LEGISLATORS

VOTE FOR AN AMNESTY — AND THEN VOTE AGAINST A BILL CONTAINING TRUMP'S BIG THREE IMMIGRATION

REFORMS, SOURCES TELL BREITBART NEWS.

THE RETIRING SPEAKER OFFERED THE DEBATE PLAN ON TUESDAY TO COUNTER THE GROUP OF 20-PLUS

PRO-MIGRATION GOP REPRESENTATIVES WHO ARE PUSHING FOR AN AMNESTY VIA A DISCHARGE PETITION.

THE DISCHARGE PETITION WOULD SCHEDULE A "QUEEN OF THE HILL" DEBATE AROUND FOUR BILLS WHICH

WOULD ENSURE PASSAGE OF AN AMNESTY BILL FOR AT LEAST 2 MILLION 'DACA' ILLEGALS.

RYAN ALSO WANTS AN AMNESTY, AND HIS PLAN, SOURCES SAID WEDNESDAY, LEVERAGES THE DISCHARGE-PETITION

PUSH TO PERSUADE TRUMP TO ALLOW HIS FOUR-PART PACKAGE OF IMMIGRATION REFORMS TO BE SPLIT

INTO A PROPOSED AMNESTY BILL AND A THREE-PART REFORM BILL.

THAT RYAN TWO-BILL SPLIT WOULD ALLOW ROUGHLY 40 BUSINESS-FIRST GOP LEGISLATORS TO VOTE

FOR AN AMNESTY AND ALLOW THEM TO BLOCK TRUMP'S REFORMS ON BORDER SECURITY, CHAIN-MIGRATION,

AND THE VISA-LOTTERY.

ONE SOURCE SAID THE AMNESTY BILL WOULD BE AN ADD-ON AMENDMENT TO THE REFORM BILL — AND

NEITHER MEASURE WOULD PASS UNLESS BOTH WON A MAJORITY.

THE TWO-BILL PLAN EMERGED FROM LEADERSHIP EFFORTS TO MANAGE THE DISCHARGE PETITION,

BUT IT LEAVES MAJORITY LEADER KEVIN MCCARTHY IN A DIFFICULT POSITION.

MCCARTHY INITIALLY ACCEPTED RYAN'S TWO-BILL PLAN, WHICH AIDS THE GOP'S PRO-MIGRATION

MEMBERS, INCLUDING HIS FELLOW CALIFORNIAN, REP.

JEFF DENHAM.

BUT THE LEADERS HAVE NOW RECOGNIZED THAT RYAN'S TWO-BILL PLAN CREATES MANY NEW PROBLEMS.

IT ALARMS THE GROWING CONSERVATIVE SIDE OF THE CAUCUS, IT ALIENATES THE GOP'S 2018

VOTERS, AND IT THREATENS MCCARTHY'S PLANS TO QUIETLY SLIP INTO THE HOUSE SPEAKER'S

JOB AFTER RYAN'S SCHEDULED DEPARTURE IN JANUARY, A SOURCE SAID.

IT ALSO TORPEDOES TRUMP'S REFORM STRATEGY BY SPLITTING THE BUSINESS-BACKED AMNESTY FROM

THE VOTER-BACKED REFORMS."

If Speaker Ryan's plan were to succeed, it would create a ton of problems for Republicans.

The biggest issue it would cause is alienation of Republican voters.

With the midterm elections just months away, a Republican push to grant amnesty to at least

two million DACA illegals could turn off a ton of pro-Trump voters.

If Republicans don't do well in the upcoming midterms and Democrats are able to take control

of Congress, it could end in the impeachment of President Trump.

Do you think Republicans should grant amnesty to DACA illegals?

TRUMP BLINDSIDES DEMOCRATS WITH $2 BILLION MOVE - Duration: 13:48.

TRUMP BLINDSIDES DEMOCRATS WITH $2 BILLION MOVE

Before he took office, Donald Trump promised that as president, he would do whatever it

took to make this country great again.

In his first 18 months in office, he has followed through with this promise time and time again,

much to the dismay of Democrats!

Right Wing News reported that Trump just blindsided Democrats by negotiating with Australia's

richest person to invest $2 Billion in the U.S. and creating 5,000 high-paying jobs.

In announcing his investment, Anthony Pratt credited Trump's business-friendly Tax Cuts

and Jobs Act of 2017.

"It's going to lead to a tsunami of investment in the United States," he said.

"We make corrugated boxes, everything that's manufactured goes in a box.

So we think we're a barometer of the economy."

Pratt, who is the executive chairman of Visy Industries and Pratt Industries in America,

has already built 70 factories in the U.S. and created more than 8,000 high-paying manufacturing

jobs since venturing into the American market 25 years ago.

"I'm here in the Midwest today celebrating the fact that beef and dairy exports are up

16%," Pratt added.

This comes after Trump hit back at Congresswoman Maxine Waters after she incited violence against

his supporters.

"For these members of his Cabinet who remain and try to defend him, they are not going

to be able to go to a restaurant, they are not going to be able to stop at a gas station,

they are not going to be able to shop in a department store," Waters said, according

to Mediaite.

"The people are going to turn on them, they are gonna protest, they are gonna absolutely

harass them."

Trump was not having any of this, however.

"Congresswoman Maxine Waters, an extraordinarily low IQ person, has become, together with Nancy

Pelosi, the Face of the Democrat Party.

She has just called for harm to supporters, of which there are many, of the Make America

Great Again movement.

Be careful what

you

wish

for Max!" Trump tweeted.

Ivanka Trump claims she advised her father on zero tolerance policy - 247 news - Duration: 3:26.

Ivanka Trump is claiming that she was a key player in the discussions which led to her father's decision to end his zero tolerance policy

The White House advisor told Maria Bartiromo on Friday that she spoke with her father prior to his signing of an executive order that effectively ended his administration's policy of separating families at the border

Ivanka, who had not made any public remarks for weeks prior to the interview, did not elaborate, and Bartiromo asked for no details from her guest before ending the segment

Scroll down for video  That interview came just hours after it was revealed that Ivanka's top family-leave adviser was going on her own sabbatical, with Politico the first to report that Maggie Cordish was exiting her role at The White House

Cordish is Ivanka's best friend and the pair were fixtures on the New York social scene before Cordish moved to Maryland with her husband Reed

The couple were set up by the first daughter and her husband Jared Kushner, with Reed also holding a White House job until earlier this year alongside his wife

Cordish even changed her party affiliation from Democrat to undecided days after the inauguration before joining Ivanka in her paid-leave work

Share this article Share Ivanka sat down with Bartiromo on her Fox Business Network show Mornings with Maria

A majority of the interview involved the host lauding her guest and all the great things she and the administration have been doing for the economy

Many of the questions were so leading that Ivanka, who was joined at first by Steve Mnuchin and later Treasurer Jovita Carranza, had only to reply 'yes' or 'no

' Bartiromo saved the topic of President Trump's zero tolerance policy for the very last question

'Where you also a voice, a whisper in your fathers ear in terms of the family's separated at the boarder,' asked Bartiromo

'I mean Melania obviously our first lady was very moved by it, went to the boarder twice

Did you also say something to him in terms of before he signed that executive order?'Ivanka responded: 'Of course

I have very strong opinions on that topic.'She did not respond any further to the question

Ivanka has been widely criticized for her silence throughout the weeks that the controversial policy was being enacted

She only spoke up after her father signed an executive order that put a stop to separating children from their parents at the border

Her silence was made all the more glaring when First Lady Melania Trump released a statement that was critical of her husband's policy

Ivanka has now returned to her very public role in thye administration, and on Thursday presented the Trafficking in Persons report alongside Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

She did not however make any public remarks.Ivanka was also silent on Friday at a White House event to mark the six-month anniversary of the administration's new tax plans

Soon after she headed out of DFC to Bedminster with her husband and youngest son on Marine One

Melania Trump 'Disgusted' By Donald After Meeting Migrant Kids: She Wants To Fight For Them - Daily - Duration: 3:02.

Melania and Donald Trump's marriage took another hit after she visited migrant kids at the border

FLOTUS is 'disgusted', we learned exclusively, and she wants to help!    Despite her "I don't care" jacket, Melania Trump is deeply invested in the welfare of the kids trapped at detention centers at the US-Mexico border, we've learned EXCLUSIVELY

Her experiences at these facilities — seeing the kids who are detained and the conditions they're living in firsthand — are driving an even bigger rift between her and husband Donald Trump

She may be first lady, but she's a mother first! "When Melania first saw the news reports about immigrant children being separated from their parents she immediately felt it was wrong," a source close to FLOTUS told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY

"And as a mother she knew she had to act. Seeing the devastation that [the policy has] caused makes her feel truly ashamed

"    What she's seen in her two visits to "tender age" shelters in McAllen, TX, and Tucson, AZ have left her thoroughly distraught

She's been all smiles in the televised parts of her appearances, but behind the scenes tells a different story

There are over 2000 migrant children housed in these facilities across the United States after they were ripped from their families

Their relatives were only trying to seek asylum in this country after fleeing danger in their own, but they're all being treated like criminals

At some facilities, the children are allegedly kept in cages, only given mylar blankets to sleep with, and reportedly allowed outside for just a couple hours a day

What does that sound like to you? Prison. This situation has grown more absurd by the day, the latest development being toddlers making court appearances to appeal their own detainment

You read that right. Melania, like many Americans, has had enough, says the source

"The more Melania learns about the immigration crisis and the more children she meets, the more her heart breaks," they told us

"And she's become more disgusted at Donald and the policies he's been pushing.  "Talking to the children proved to her that she was right to dismiss Donald's claims that migrants are criminals and actors who are trying to come to the USA to cause harm to the American people

Seeing the desperation and sadness in the faces of little children tears Melania apart

It has strengthened her resolve to fight for them."  We'll see if the first lady puts her money where her mouth is and truly does something to help these defenseless children

Hopefully she can be the person who finally gets it through her husband's head that this needs to stop, once and for all

'NeverTrump' Movement Suffers Defeat After Trump Sets A Sky-High Record - Duration: 3:13.

'NeverTrump' Movement Suffers Defeat After Trump Sets A Sky-High Record

Remember Never Trumpers?

During the 2016 Presidential election, a tribe within the conservative movement was strongly

opposed to the nomination of Donald Trump.

Even as it became more and more clear that Trump was going to win the nomination, so-called

conservatives tried to undermine him.

They were incapable of believing Trump meant what he said about putting Americans first.

Either that, or these "Never Trumpers" didn't want a president who put America

first, much like their buddies on the left.

Still today, there is a contingent of "conservatives" who stand against Trump, and it doesn't

make any sense.

Amazing things are happening here and around the world.

What kind of idiot conservative would oppose that?

Well, as it turns out, very few still hate on Trump… in fact, that vast majority of

Republicans are in love with our POTUS.

From Breitbart:

"The latest polling shows President Trump enjoying record support from Republicans,

proving once again just how little influence and moral authority Never Trump has.

A recent Gallup poll shows that 90 percent of Republicans support the president.

According to the New York Times (a far-left outlet that regularly spreads fake news),

other than the historic outlier of George W. Bush in the aftermath of the September

11 terrorist attacks, no Republican president in this poll's history has garnered 90 percent

support from Republican voters at this point in a first term.

Trump's historic level of support from within his own Party is not only a tribute to the

president's verifiable successes at home and abroad (tax cuts, booming economy, regulation

reform, gutting Obamacare, North Korea under control, the Islamic State all but vanquished,

no stupid neocon wars)…

…it is also a testament to just how marginalized, tribal, and extreme the failed Never Trump

movement has become."

This is big news.

Even Reagan, one of our greatest presidents, didn't enjoy these kinds of numbers.

It makes sense, though.

Republicans are pleased that Trump is making good on his promises.

As the fake news media pushes one pathetic attack after another, Americans are seeing

a president who refuses to back down.

His achievements in the first two years of his term have been historic:

He scored a massive tax cut.

He slashed job-killing regulation.

He de-fanged Obamacare.

Companies are investing in America.

The wall is going up (hopefully).

Then there's the world-shattering progress with North Korea, which should earn Trump

the Nobel Peace Prize.

What could conservatives be upset about?

Overall, every American is benefitting from more money in their paychecks, increased opportunity,

and greater national security.

Perhaps the few "Never Trumpers" that still remain should just give up.

What do you think about this?

Hannity with Judge Jeanine:The Left Targets Trump Admin Officials - Duration: 15:22.

welcome back to this special edition of Hannity the Trump effect as president

Trump's agenda succeeds the left is literally unraveling and now many are

harassing Trump allies all over the country the left claims to have a

monopoly of compassion for women but take a look at how they treat women in

positions of power within the Trump administration I was asked to leave a

restaurant this weekend where I attempted to have dinner with my family

my husband and I politely left and went home I was asked to leave because I work

for president Trump we are allowed to Grist disagree but we should be able to

do so freely and without fear of harm and this goes for all people regardless

of politics three huge guys came up and started probably an inch from my face

screaming at me every word in the book cursing as loud as they could so then a

trooper my trooper came up and my boyfriend and I got our tickets were

headed in and then they ran in and circled me where I could not get into

the theater they stopped me

and on Tuesday a group of protesters in Georgetown harassed Senate Majority

Leader Mitch McConnell and his wife Elaine Chao who serves as president

Trump's Secretary of Transportation following these outrageous displays many

on both sides of the aisle have called for civility but when Hillary Clinton

was asked about these calls she responded quote Oh give me a break but

the less rhetoric is not only targeted on Republicans in leadership positions

take a look at calls from the left to get rid of ice I think there's no

question that we've got to critically re-examine ice and its role and the way

that it is being administered and the work it is doing and we need to probably

think about starting from scratch I think we need to abolish ice that seems

really clear they have strayed so far from the interests of the American

people and the interests of humanity we need to we need to abolish it

eliminating ice for instance and president drum ice isn't doing what it

was created to do it's being used as his own personal police force and in those

actions it's actually making us less safe I don't think ice today is working

as intended you think you should get rid of the agency I believe that it has

become a deportation force and I think you should separate the criminal justice

from the immigration issues and I think you should reimagine ice joining me now

with reaction Mike Huckabee Fox News contributor good evening governor now I

can't imagine as a father what it's like watching your daughters stand at that

podium and talk about her being harassed out of a restaurant because she works

for our president and and you know a man who was both a friend of yours and

obviously someone that she admires a great deal give us your reaction well

it's very frustrating to see the the owner of a restaurant not only

bullied my daughter and threw her out of the restaurant but showed a level of

bigotry and if you're gonna be that bigoted and put a sign on your

restaurant that says no shirt no shoes no Republicans no service I mean at

least be honest about it and say to people we don't want your business we

don't want the likes of you at our lunch counter you can't even sit on the back

of the bus but that's pretty sad in our country I think Sarah handled it with a

lot of dignity and class probably more than her old man would have done well

and then you know she of course is someone that all of us have a great deal

of respect for and she called herself as has done the president for civility and

then good old Hillary who I thought was still in the woods comes out again and

says you know you know forget about that give me a break

what's your take on Hillary Clinton's basic rejection of civility as the way

to approach this problem well not a surprise coming from the person who

called the Trump voters a basket of deplorable --zz it's clear she has not

gotten over the loss but here's what's even clearer this November

Americans will make a very significant decision as to whether they want to

elect the Democrats who want to get rid of ice and open the borders and treat

people who come here illegally with great level of open arms regardless of

their criminal background and even let them vote for heaven's sake yeah do we

want a party that lets illegal aliens get treated better than we do citizens

simply going out to eat are going to a movie sting and that's the America that

people will choose do you want the the civil one where you get to go to a

restaurant or the one where you don't unless you're an illegal and then of

course come on in and we want to rest you because we're getting rid of the

police force the very people who try to keep these folks out you know I must

tell you governor when I first heard the woman who's running for governor or was

sex in the city Cynthia Nixon when she says we should get rid of Isis I'm like

Ann just goes to show you someone who's never been in government before but then

they all started taking on this mantra I had to stop and say to myself

what is happening in the United States of America well it's obvious that this

is a script all the Democrats are required to read it I think they have to

memorize it it's like lines in a play and they're all supposed to audition for

it but it's getting really ridiculous when

this is their message to the American voter let's get rid of any scrutiny of

people who break into this country without any form of identification who

do not come through the legal process the judge we are a nation of immigrants

we love and welcome immigrants to this nation all of us have come here from

somewhere but my gosh we did have to do it legally and what these folks are

saying is no borders none whatsoever I can't go to any country in the world

and just walk right in why should somebody be able to come in to America

like that I have no idea well it is it is a turning point in this

country and as you say the 2018 elections are so incredibly important

anyway Governor Mike Huckabee so good to have you on this evening thanks always a

pleasure judge all right and still to come on this special edition of Hannity

Democrats in the media are completely losing it over Justice Anthony Kennedy

retirement from the United States Supreme Court and by the way don't

forget to buy a copy of my book on Amazon or Barnes & Noble Liars leakers

and liberals the case against the anti-trump conspiracy more Hannity after

the move

welcome back to this special edition of Hannity Justice Kennedy announced his

retirement from the Supreme Court this week throwing the left and the

mainstream media into utter hysteria take a look at this regardless of what

happens in his presidency now Donald Trump will leave a mark on this country

for decades to come yeah it's like it's not gonna go away

it's like he's giving America judicial herpes if you are LGBTQ if you are a

person of color if you are a woman so basically if you are not a straight

white male in America right now you are probably freaking out we're looking at a

destruction of the Constitution of the United States we're not screwed we're

actually screwed for generations clean air and water that you use and breathe

is at stake we are looking down the tunnel of potentially criminal liability

for women who are seeking to make decisions about their own bodies it's

time for Democrats to throw down and what I mean by that is that we've been

playing by the rulebook and Donald Trump and Republicans have been playing by

street rules we need to play by street rules don't allow a vote on this don't

have a hearing don't have a meeting don't let anything go forward don't play

ball with this decision Fox News is reporting that President Trump is set to

interview candidates this weekend and will announce a final decision on Monday

July 9 the president sat down with Fox businesses Maria Bartiromo to discuss

some major questions he might have for his potential nominees her interview is

going to air Sunday at 10:00 a.m. here's the preview are you going to ask your

nominees beforehand how they might vote on Roe vs. Wade well that's a big one

and probably not they're all saying don't do that you don't do that you

shouldn't do that but I'm putting conservative people on and I'm very

proud of Neal Gorsuch he has been outstanding his opinions are you know is

so well written so brilliant and I'm gonna try and do something like that but

I don't think I'm going to be so specific joining me now with reaction

former Obama economic adviser Austan Goolsbee and foxnews contributors

- Roy Murdoch and Robert Jeffress alright I got to start with you pastor

Jeffress right now the right of course is looking for the President to appoint

someone who is pro-life the president has indicated in the preview that he's

not going to ask that direct question what do you think the president is going

to ask as it relates to whether or not a person is pro-life well the president is

exactly right not to ask a specific question about roe v wade and judge he

doesn't need to and here's why it's the philosophy of this justice that really

counts you know for the last 50 years the only way liberals have been able to

enact their agenda is through the judiciary by having justices who create

imaginary rights for some Americans while at the same time erasing the real

rights of other Americans there is no right to abortion that's nowhere in the

Constitution but there is a right to life that there's been a race for 50

million children butchered in the womb since 1973 roe v wade and if the

President and I know he will will appoint a conservative justice with a

conservative philosophy roe v wade and all of these other atrocities from the

judiciary will take care of themselves Austan Goolsbee all right so I assume

you're gonna have the opposite opinion but isn't the president almost required

to suggest someone who is an originalist who is a constitutionalist I mean I

think we can all agree the justices are not supposed to write the law they're

supposed to interpret precedent yeah look I can see why the Democrats that

that you showed on the Calipari's agitated as they are Justice Kennedy is

really quite a centrist

oats that the president is required to suggest or nominate someone who's gonna

be like Kennedy or he can nominate anyone he wants cuz I mean anybody he

could nominate a very left-wing judge if he wanted a very right-wing judge a

centrist I assume he's gonna pick somebody off that list that he

publicized 21 originally 21 it's up to 25 judges which basically have been

vetted by the Heritage Foundation the Federal Society

he's been very public he's been very open and transparent these most these

names were out there before he was elected so people knew what they're

gonna get when they voted for him and whether you like or dislike these people

he's been very transparent about putting these names forward and people have had

but basically a year and a half to look into them and their backgrounds their

judicial judicial outlooks and so forth all right and I'll ask you this pastor

Jeffress because and then I want to go back to Austin again look that the truth

is that you know these justices I mean judges who were up for it to be a

justice I mean if they if they have too many decisions that are controversial I

mean that's going to cause a whole you know uprising but if they don't have a

lot of controversial decisions then on the other hand they're gonna be

conservatives who are going to say well maybe they're not conservative enough

and in the end what we got is Murkowski and collins who are votes that we need

who were the Republican senators who are Bundren pro-choice so how does the

president balance that to get the 50 Republicans that he needs because pence

will be the if there's a tie the the 50 you know judge night not long ago the

president asked me why I thought he had a 75% of provoked rating with

evangelicals and I said it's very simple you are delivering on your promise to

put conservatives on all of the courts judge the president knows this this is

what he ran on and I'll have to tell you if we were dealing with a President Bush

either one of them or heaven forbid a president Romney I would be nervous

tonight that that president would waffle and give in to the Democrats and liberal

Republicans but this president has the guts to deliver on his promise and I

believe he's going to do it well clearly he does I don't think there's anyone at

this point it would say that President Trump doesn't have guts

mean but but let me go to Austin now you know that there are Democratic senators

Heidi Heitkamp as well as Manchin okay they are in red states they are

Democrats what happens to them if they vote for a conservative nominee in a

state that is overwhelmingly read what happens among their voters or what

happens do they get elected you know I don't know that they are you're quite

right they're in tough races you know it I would be remiss not to remind everyone

that that the Democrats were in office and they had the longest filibuster and

held up the proposed justice Merrick garland so you can see why the Democrats

are feeling like this was a power play that was not justified I think the

Democrats in red states that are in tough races it's going to matter a lot

to them who gets nominated as a candidate like someone reasonable or

does it seem like someone extreme it's going to be conservative and they're not

going to be happy if they're not happy people going to the restaurants you can

be sure they're not gonna be happy with the president's nominee thank you

gentlemen and coming up Daniel Hoffman and

Sebastian Gorka on president Trump's upcoming summit with Russian President

Vladimir Putin

Trump Destroyed Bill And Hillary Clinton With One Tweet - Duration: 11:14.

Trump Destroyed Bill And Hillary Clinton With One Tweet

Hillary Clinton crawled back into the spotlight once again to lob attacks at Donald Trump.

She lost her mind over his speech at the U.N. General Assembly where he tagged Kim Jong

Un with the nickname "Rocket Man."

But Trump fired back and destroyed both Bill and Hillary Clinton with one tweet.

During Trump's speech, he declared Kim Jon Un – whom he labeled as "Rocket Man"

– was on a suicide mission by continuing to develop nuclear weapons.

Trump said the United States would destroy North Korea if they threatened America or

her allies.

Trump's "Rocket Man" nickname for the North Korean tyrant was a big hit and other

world leaders quickly adopted it.

But not everyone was pleased.

Hillary Clinton appeared at one of her safe spaces – Stephen Colbert's late night

comedy show – and attacked the speech as "dark" and "dangerous". Trump immediately

fired back.

He pointed out he was only in this dangerous situation because of the Clintons.

Trump correctly noted that in 1994, then-President Bill Clinton made a deal with the North Koreans

where they obtained fuel and nuclear power plants in exchange for freezing their weapons

program.

The deal failed and North Korea gained the wherewithal to develop nuclear missiles.

Hillary Clinton – as Secretary of State – presided over Barack Obama's policy

of "strategic patience."

This amounted to doing nothing and hoping someone else would clean up the mess.

Now that Trump is taking steps to correct the Clintons errors, they are heckling him

from the peanut gallery.

► KELLYANNE CONWAY I SENIOR COUNSELOR TO THE PRESIDENT TRUMP-PUTIN SUMMIT - Duration: 13:39.

let's get to it now their headliner killing untimely lives on North Lawn

Senior Council the president joins us now from the White House and Kellyanne

good morning and welcome back it's it's a Friday and you are in you're in the

hot seat here okay so let's get to the Supreme Court first what is the state of

the process if there is not yet a short list of nominees where's the president's

head on this well you saw just last night the president returned from a

two-day trip out meeting with Americans and came here and met with senators from

both parties because it is the Senate's job constitutionally to advise and

consent the president on such matters and the president is taking to account

their advice at the same time it will be a presidential decision this president

owing back to the campaign for two straight years now bill has been very

transparent and therefore accountable with respect to the type of person and

indeed the specific individuals he would consider to put on the nation's highest

court yes as you just mentioned the elevated justice nail Gorsuch he's been

an outstanding jurist in his first term and a half on the Supreme Court but look

also at what the president has done in the u.s. circuit courts there are 21

confirmed judges on the US circuit courts one out of eight US Circuit

judges right now is a trump appointee and so we we already see the way the

president approaches this I think Neil Gorsuch and his confirmation hearings

put it best when it came to some of these hot-button issues like abortion

where he said it's settled precedent and it's not my job is not relevant whether

I like a particular precedent or don't and I know people on the other side who

are really losing and every turn these days politically then practically they

are going to try to make this about one or two issues we know that this that the

Supreme Court covers any number of issues under the Constitution in a given

term just this past week and last week they decided cases on the impropriety of

using unions use compelling people to use them for political purposes

obviously they they ruled in the president's favor and the travel ban

they have released opinions very recently on on internet taxes so the

court is very active breath of issues this president has says

he will choose from that list and he's been very clear in his appointments we

make to the type of jurists that he likes not to do does he make a decision

before the summit with Vladimir Putin into an athlete's he may I don't think

that the timeline has anything to do with a summit this is a president as we

all know is the original and unbelievably peripatetic multitasker he

does many different things at a given day moment and week I think the sheer

volume the velocity of the way he works is mind-numbing to many people I find it

to be a privilege so I don't think that a timeline is going to be according to a

summit so much as the president takes very seriously a Supreme Court vacancy

and knows that we should we should move with some dispatch in filling that

vacancy down as a maybe then based on the timeline for July 6 things was a guy

who moves with alacrity on everything as you know so maybe sooner maybe sooner

maybe sooner I think that person could be confirmed this year why not okay that

being said Kellyanne this upcoming summit with the president and Vladimir

Putin what does president Trump what is he heading into that summit hoping to

accomplish and get done the president has made very clear a couple of things

one is to improve relations with countries and its leaders where we can

where it makes sense for the United States of America and for peace-loving

people everywhere to improve relationships and this president

followed the same model that he that he did with the Singapore summit and mr.

Kim with Russia meaning he sent over one of his top diplomats one of his top

security officials in the case of North Korea secretary Pompeo in the case of

Russia NSC director NASA security adviser Ambassador John Bolton and that

person goes over there and lays the groundwork we got other people working

on logistics and this president has said from the beginning that he is willing to

talk to leaders when it is in the best interest of America if Russia and the

United States of America can work on national security issues together the

president will do that but at the same time this president has had no

reluctance whatsoever to push back when he has felt Susan

there's Russian officials I'd like to know that push your back on the side and

and I just want to say one more thing you had President Obama whispering and a

hot mic that he would have more flexibility after the next election you

have this president as transparent as can be on going away to be president but

to have a summit like this you gotta get some sort of win-win on each side and

what is the win/win for Vladimir Putin what is the win/win for President Trump

is it some sort of deal on Syria is that is that where the ground could move well

the wind winds and having the conversation to begin with but another

win would be the president's vision with respect to Syria this president has

pushed back on Assad twice when he's gassed his own people with the support

of Russia continuing the conversation about a nuclear capable North Korea and

nuclear capable of ran I mean this presidents been so active around the

globe to not involve Russia in some of these conversations and I'm sure because

this is what the media will say to is what are you talking about with respect

to interference and elections everything's on the table you know when

mr. Putin and President Trump met the last time that particular one-on-one

meeting lasted much longer than quote people anticipate on why they were

anticipating a certain timeline and it covered an array of topics and you can

expect that to happen again meanwhile what a hearing that was

yesterday Kellyanne you know Christopher Rea rod rose and signed the heads of the

FBI and the DOJ sat in a hearing room and faced a grilling from Republican

lawmakers with the president able to to witness a few of those exchanges what

were his thoughts when he looked at really the anger and frustration that we

continue to see in this case from House Republicans over lack of documents

getting handed over and lack of quite frankly questions getting answered well

again you see the transparency and accountability of the process that was a

televised a briefing folks are under oath when they're answering those

questions and director Ray and Deputy Attorney General

rod Rosen Stein made clear that they feel they are they are complying with

the request some of the Republicans and others disagree the house obviously

passed a bill yesterday or past a festival and it's evolution yeah

resolution yeah excuse me and and the fact is that people do it is true that

many Americans are tiring with the length of the process here that is

absolutely true if you look at the polls the number of people who are saying that

the investigation is a good idea has it gone on too long is it interfering with

other things fortunately the present United States

does not allow it to interfere with his major duties which is to be the chief

economic steward of our nation's economy it could not be doing any better than it

is we're having this six-month tax cut and Jobs Act anniversary together here

today grazie yeah Benghazi going on for two and a

half years that I know the Republic is it fresh to the comparison no specific

question I know the president was traveling Wisconsin yesterday did he

watch the hearing did he watch any of it Kellyanne well he can access clips any

time he wants and he's aware he's fully briefed on everything of that nature he

certainly knows that he certainly knew that the hearing was taking place he

certainly knows some of the highlights of not the specifics and everybody's

been playing on their choice and they're they're chosen and curated clips from

the last day so I think the president could not be more clear he tweets about

it and puts it on social media off and he talks about it freely often that he

believes this is a witch hunt and that there is no collusion he he goes back to

what we were promised at the very beginning of this which is that this

changed votes and he wasn't duly elected that's all a load of bunk and everybody

knows it he was duly and democratically elected he doesn't let any of it get in

his way of presiding over the strongest economy in generations if not our

lifetimes if not ever and continuing to meet with leaders here in America but

across the globe and at different summits to try to bring more peace and

prosperity wherever you men chief of staff what are the plans there

what is the president actively doing right now as as far as looking for a

replacement I don't understand these stories in that the media sort of like

ants on a sugar cube always go and focus on one thing it seems to come up every

month or two or three months if I went back and I looked at a bunch of

inquiries from February four December and now from June they all say

the same thing I try not to respond to them to allow the pressure op and others

to do that but here you got responses directly from the President and from our

chief of staff John Kelly yesterday that it's all news to them we have no talent

I'm sorry that this is popping out I'm delighted to serve under chief of staff

Kelly and I work with whomever the president asked me to work with here in

the West Wing and across his administration but I know that it's

easier and maybe more fun for folks to to play the Paula game and learning the

intricacies of policy since again stuff goes so quickly here but I guess

eventually everybody's going to leave it eventually everybody who said people are

going to leave will be right just not dominate the coverage I know the

Europeans felt like just just to be specific about it

general Kelly is staying is that what you're saying as far as I know general

Kelly wants to stay and he is staying he hasn't said anything differently to me

and I come here to work every day with the team that the president has asked us

all to work with and we do I find this place to be much more streamlined and

much more sophisticated and running in a very good way a year and a half into the

presidency and we don't run around wondering who's leaving next who's going

to be forced out we get to work every day and there's so much on our plate as

you know that's just not one of them okay you bet well what does the White

House have to say given the shooting in Annapolis just for you well it's a it's

a horrible tragedy what we're trying to I think us being all of America

is pieced together that this person the shooter this murderer had some kind of

grievance against this paper obviously it filed a lawsuit lost that lawsuit and

seems to have been very active on social media very threatening it seems to me

and about this paper and went in yesterday and did what he did the

president expressed his sympathies it continues to be briefed by the FBI and

others and we'll continue to talk about this as the different facts develop but

obviously people who go to work every day innocent Americans should not have

this as an occupational hazard and I think is our press secretary made clear

last night in a on innocent journalists innocent

Americans attack on all of us what's the president's plans next week a

lot of people a fourth of July week and he's gonna be making a trip out to

Montana yes the plan is for him to go to Montana on July 5th and the day before

the president the first lady will host for the second consecutive year the

military families here at a picnic and then later celebrate America's

Independence our 240 second year of our nation's independence out here on the

South Lawn the fireworks display for all to see and we're very excited because

it's a great celebration of our nation's independence and this president has done

a great deal to advance the cause of democracy and freedom everything from

economic freedom to national security and freedom and our ability to be free

and prosperous and should be a great joy yeah you came out to talk about taxes

six-month anniversary today what do you think the impact of the tax plan has

been on America today go ahead and sell it easy votes they're very it's been

very positive any metric that you look at the confidence number is historic

confidence numbers among consumers among small business owners among

manufacturers the job creation the growth numbers all the critics saying is

that you can never even get it above 3% that's fantasy its projected to be well

above 4% and that I think what it's done in addition to giving the millions of

Americans hardworking Americans the bonuses and the raises it has a

stimulated growth and a buoyancy and optimism in our economy that people feel

free to move around in the job market six point seven million available jobs

now it outpaces the number of actual job seekers so that gives people freedom to

think about their next job or the next career move

also the repatriation a word that Americans really should learn more

handily because you're going to hear a lot of it bill and Sondra repatriation

of 300 billion dollars so far that was wealth parked legally overseas that now

these companies can bring back the corporations that were that people said

they're not going to vet they're investing in their workplace or in

record investing in their workforce and and also you see this child care tax

credit people feel like they can make more free decisions I think the number

one the number one byproduct of tax cuts is freedom it's individual freedom and

liberty hey listen thanks for being here today we've covered a lot of ground and

have a great weekend happy July 4th to you and every bear

TRUMP TOUTS TAX CUTS SIX MONTHS IN - Duration: 10:35.

all right not exactly game set badge we settle for month quarter half year

welcome everybody I'm Neil Cavuto and you're watching your world and we're

putting a month of stock trading to rest quarter of stock trading 2s and the

first half year dressed on the month we saw the Dow surrender a little bit of

ground but the NASDAQ and the S&P 500 did more than okay look at how we've

been doing so far this year with the Dow down about one point seven percent look

at the Nasdaq I've about 9 percent that's would be five hundred one point

eight percent and in the second quarter the quarter we're just wrapping up a

similar story with technology stocks leading the way for the Nasdaq up about

six and a half percent the Dow advancing and the sp500 advancing as well so the

quarter was the only period that registered sort of a hat-trick gains at

all the major market averages this is a convenient time to step back and look at

where we stand right now six months and did a year a trading year in economic

year and six months into those tax cuts that the president claims really got all

of this going to Kevin cork at the White House with more on that hey Kevin an

economic miracle Neal that's how the president described what happened with

those famous now tax cuts and keep this in mind he'd like to see more where that

came from if they can somehow manage they propose second round of tax cuts

once again maybe inching ever closer to 20% let's talk about what happened here

today a very important day for the president

clearly that's looking ahead as we talk about what may happen today certainly

was a chance to look back at what many accrediting meal for a roaring economy

that could top four percent GDP and q2 it's my great honor to welcome you back

to the White House to celebrate six months of new jobs bigger paychecks and

keeping more of your hard-earned money where it belongs in your pocket and

that's the idea keeping the money in your pocket you

know what to do with your money better than the government knows to do with

your money that's the idea meanwhile the white house deal is also

facing another big battle as a president is looking to solidify support for

his pending Supreme Court nominee he actually talked about that today with

our colleague Maria Bartiromo are you going to ask your nominees beforehand

how they might vote on Roe vs. Wade well that's a big one and probably not

they're all saying don't do that you don't do that you shouldn't do that but

I'm putting conservative people on don't do it that's what these advisers are

telling him just get the best people for the job meanwhile the fate of roe v--

wade continues to be the linchpin of discussion for many Democrats and some

Republicans many of whom are by the way listening to a bevy of 20/20

presidential hopefuls who helped to organize that big rally yesterday

against the president's pick a pick Neal as you know he has yet to make although

we are told by our sources here that pick had come perhaps in as soon as 10

days very interesting if that actually happens between now and our trip to

Europe also today I want to share this with you the IRS rolled out that

postcard sized 1040 form you know you heard Stephen Newton talking about it

you've heard Wilbur Ross talk about it as a White House source told me this

afternoon a great example of promises made promises kept Neil and they're

saying from that that what is it seven out of ten taxpayers could use that form

and get their taxes done yes simple simple simple listen if you're not

making a bunch of itemized deductions and you don't have like property and

businesses this is the thing this is the ticket man and I got to tell you when

you look at it and it's so simple you can really change the game in terms of

what people do in terms of tax preparation I love it I can't probably

use it myself but I think for the people who can good for you now you have all

those investments all over the world all right thank you very very much my friend

by the way we did get a comment from the accountants foundation on all of this

what this will mean to their business as a result of taxes you could fill out on

a card it goes something like this they didn't like it all right let's get the

read on a little this from a financial analyst Heather's in Moraga we got fox

news contributor John Wakefield and FP ends dealer Bolton you know did

we're getting indication if the president wants to follow up on what

he's done on the tax cut front with more tax cuts to come here's what he told

Maria Bartiromo earlier about revisiting the corporate tax cut I want you to

react to this because we've seen the impact to the economy what do you want

to see happen now does the economy need even more stimulus are you looking for

Phase two we're doing a Phase two will be doing it

probably in October maybe a little sooner than that and it'll be more of a

middle class we did have left for the middle class but this will be even more

aimed at the middle to us one of the things we're thinking about is bringing

the 21 percent down to 20 and then for the most part the rest of it would go

right to the middle class it's a great stimulus that's surprised me what do you

think about it does surprise me but on the flip side Neil as you know the

president and the administration has taken a lot of criticism maybe that is

why he's moving forward maybe it's not but that this last round of tax cuts a

lot of people said really favored corporations more than people although

we heard firsthand from some of his guests at the White House today

business owners who said for the first time they got significant bonuses they

talked about educating their children they talked about taking in one family's

case the first family vacation in five years so I think anything for the middle

class is of course wonderful news the question that we always come back to you

is where does this money come from how do we pay for it

there are many economists of course who say listen if you give American

consumers more money that ultimately helps our economy consumer spending two

thirds of our GDP it is the engine of our economy for sure one thing to note

as well even with the tax cut plan that was passed in December just as far as

the markets if you use stocks as a report card I mean we're closing up for

the first half and that is even with all the volatility the added uncertainty or

tree tips if you like now no absolutely I would accept some of the death

announced I got better than nine percent they have to be better than two percent

here's so John Lake deal not a bad follow-up to last year's sizzling

markets I'm just wondering what you're looking at then for the next half of the

year I think the markets are going to be up

you look at a consensus of analysts out there they expect the market to be up

around 7 to 8 percent barring something like this trade tariffs are a trade war

that could potentially happen the earnings expected to be up around 20%

and he talked about though DJ was talking with those tax cuts 35 to 40

percent of that is attributed to those tax cuts for these corporations so it

really has added a huge boost to this economy the economy is doing fantastic

right now if we could just keep the trade talks and the geopolitics out of

it the market will do really well and there is the rub right I mean you

already have GM saying you know we're worried you know this could hurt us on

GM good the odd man out in a trade war here it echoes concerns of

harley-davidson maybe for entirely different reasons but this concern

growing among some that it could sort of reign on this market party what do you

think right well I do think a lot of second quarter profits companies did

better on their bottom line to the tune of thirty billion dollars because of tax

cuts but my concern is that companies are hesitating on reinvesting and

planned property and equipment or buying back shares and increasing dividends

because of uncertainty over the tariff so the economy is booming and I think

the one thing that could derail it is if this trade debate escalates and I don't

think we're in a trade war yet and I certainly hope we don't we don't get

there Deidre when we talk of traders it of course very few of them saw the huge

gains we had last year let alone the relevant follow-up we could see it have

this year is they're worried that trade is that wild card developments what do

you think I think so Neil and we've seen the market can adjust and can absorb

what we know is coming as of July 6th between the US and China 34 billion

dollars worth of tariffs at a twenty five percent rate on goods on either

side we've seen as of July 1st this plan for Canadians Harris between the u.s.

and Canada worth roughly about 13 billion so I think investors they can

adjust to that but when we've seen the headlines talking about 200 billion

dollars worth we do see investors sell-off so I think the markets can

support support rather trade tips trade spats I think a trade war as a different

categories I would very much like to see us avoid

that for sure I'm just curious without the tax cuts where do you think this

market would be I think it'd be down down from where it's at right now

obviously like I said 35 to 40 percent of these earnings increase attributed to

these tax cuts so I think the market the market is a barrel of fantastic runs

since the president first got elected this year it has been tax cuts I think

the market in this stage of a bull market that it's been in right now this

market would just be stagnating and going sideways we have low unemployment

which would have probably been there no matter what but still the economy the

the big boost to it in this late stage of the bull market is attributed these

tax cuts what are you thinking yes so I agree in the question it comes down to

will these tariffs eat into the benefit that the stock market up that the

economy has seen from tax cuts and my take on it is that it absolutely would

tariffs act as a tax when you're buying goods from abroad and that's going to

ultimately increase in prices increase prices for the consumer in the end

that's who's going to bear the real cost and I think that will have an impact in

terms of losing more jobs than we gained out of this I understand he's trying to

level the playing field and have fair and reciprocal trade across the board

specifically targeting China but I'm not sure all these blanket tariffs across

the board are the best way to do it all right thank you very very much we'll see

what happens guys in the meantime here we want to let you know we'll be looking

at this from a quarter and a month and a half your perspective a special edition

of Cleveland are like tomorrow 10:00 a.m. Eastern on this gentleman the many

issues we're following crunching these numbers and where we might go now for

the rest of the year in
