Trump news on Youtube Jun 20 2018

A close friend of Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's former attorney, has told CNN that Michael

Cohen is ready to cooperate with Robert Mueller and turn over the information that he has

about Donald Trump and Donald Trump's businesses.

Now Cohen has not yet made the decision and said, "Yes, I am 100% going to do that," but

his friend and ally says that he is at the point where that will likely be his next move.

There are several reasons for this.

The first, according to the report from CNN, is because Cohen feels isolated.

He is mad that Donald Trump has not come out to publicly defend him as he has so many others

that have been embroiled in these investigations.

And two, because he's not offering to pay Michael Cohen's legal bills that are actually

destroying him financially.

Now if Donald Trump did agree to pay those, that would obviously be a massive conflict

of interest.

You could even argue that that would be considered witness tampering by the prosecution, so Trump

probably has good reason for not coming out and doing that.

But there is a third reason why Michael Cohen is likely to flip on Donald Trump now, and

that is because he has no more options.

At this point, given the information that these prosecutors and investigators have,

the only chance Michael Cohen has to not spend the rest of his life in prison is to start

turning over evidence, work with the state and with federal prosecutors in order to turn

in other people to get a reduced sentence.

Now I don't think it's possible whatsoever for Cohen to avoid jail time completely, but

if he decides to work with them and hands over everything he has on Trump, assuming

it's something that's relevant to these investigations and not just records that show no wrongdoing,

then Cohen is pretty much screwed at this point.

But most of us obviously don't think that that's the case.

If Trump has committed any kind of wrongdoing, whether during the campaign, or even just

while he was in New York as a regular businessman before he entered politics, Michael Cohen

is the guy who is going to know about that.

He helped with Trump's finances.

He was a mainstay at Trump Tower.

He was in there with those deals.

He knows what kind of shady things did or did not happen.

Michael Cohen knows everything, good or bad, and if he is willing to flip on Donald Trump,

then that's probably going to be very bad for Donald Trump, and maybe that helps explain

some of his more erratic behavior in the last week or so.

After all, he has been outspoken about everybody in the Mueller investigation, and yet has

remained almost completely silent about the Michael Cohen investigation, and it's because

he knows there's something there.

He knows that he doesn't want to get involved with that because he may say something that

makes worse for Cohen, and then Cohen at that point could flip and make things worse for

Trump.

When Trump is silent about an issue, that's pretty much as bad as it gets.

So his silence on Cohen, this silence that has left Cohen feeling isolated according

to his friend, is ultimately going to end up being his undoing, assuming Cohen has something

that Robert Mueller would actually be interested in.

What Pres Trump Just Said About Immigration Proves Dems Are On Wrong Side Of History - Duration: 2:22.

When POTUS speaks, everybody listens!

And that includes when he tweets!

Yesterday, in a speech at the White House, POTUS tells the Democrats to STOP obstructing

so that the American immigration policy can be fixed.

POTUS says during the speech and says, "The United States will not be a migrant camp,

and it will not be a refugee holding facility."

Pres Trump continues, "It won't be.

You look at what's happening in Europe.

You look at what is happening in other places.

We cannot allow that to happen.

Not on my watch."

Then in a powerful statement for everyone to hear, he says, "We want safety.

And we want security for our Country."

POTUS says that "If the Democrats would sit down, instead of obstructing.

We could have something done, very quickly.

Good for the children, good for the Country.

Good for the world."

And he agrees that "we're stuck with theses horrible laws.

They're horrible laws.

It's so sad.

It's so sad.

And it can be taken care of quickly, beautifully and we'll have safety."

"This could really be something very special," POTUS says, "Maybe even something for the

world to watch.

Just like they are watching our great economy.

How it's soaring.

They can watch this."

POTUS tweets:

"Children are being used by some of the worst criminals on earth as a means to enter

our country.

Has anyone been looking at the Crime taking place south of the border.

It is historic, with some countries the most dangerous places in the world.

Not going to happen in the U.S."

"Democrats are the problem.

They don't care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be,

to pour into and infest our Country, like MS-13.

They can't win on their terrible policies, so they view them as potential voters!"

"#CHANGETHELAWS Now is the best opportunity ever for Congress to change the ridiculous

and obsolete laws on immigration.

Get it done, always keeping in mind that we must have strong border security."

Kirstjen Nielsen was quoted as saying, "Pause to think about this statistic: 314% increase

in adults showing up with kids that are not a family unit.

Those are traffickers, those are smugglers, that is MS-13, those are criminals, those

are abusers.

Trump administration reportedly set to withdraw from UN Human Rights Council amid separation policy - Duration: 1:57.

The Trump administration is expected to pull out of the United Nations Human Rights Council on Tuesday amid international backlash over its policy to split up immigrant families at the country's southern border, according to a report

UN Ambassador Nikki Haley and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will announce the withdrawal during a press conference at the State Department headquarters in Washington, D

C., at 5 p.m., two people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg News. Advertisement  Administration officials have accused the diplomatic body of holding an anti-Israel bias and have hinted at a withdrawal for months

Last year, Haley accused the body of pursuing a "relentless, pathological campaign" against Israel in the bloody conflict with Palestine

"The thought that any state would seek to deter parents by inflicting such abuse on children is unconscionable," al Hussien said at a meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday

"I call on the United States to immediately end the practice of forcible separation of these children

BREAKING TRUMP NOMINATED FOR NOBEL PEACE PRIZE - Duration: 13:47.

BREAKING TRUMP NOMINATED FOR NOBEL PEACE PRIZE

Earlier this week, Donald Trump made history when he brokered a peace deal with North Korean

dictator Kim Jong Un.

Now Norwegian leaders just nominated Trump to be nominated for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize

because of this deal.

Independent Journal Review reported that Christian Tybring-Gjedde and Per-Willy Amundsen, members

of the Norwegian Progress Party, put in the nomination for Trump.

The nomination was sent in one month after a group of 18 House Republicans wrote to the

Norwegian Nobel Committee to request he be considered for the prize.

"Since taking office, President Trump has worked tirelessly to apply maximum pressure

on North Korea to end its illicit weapons programs and bring peace to the region.

His Administration successfully united the international community, including China,

to impose one of the most successful international sanctions regimes in history," the Republicans

wrote.

"We can think of no one more deserving of the Committee's recognition in 2019 than

President Trump for his tireless work to bring peace to our world."

Amundsen said that this would not be the first time that a Peace Prize was awarded to someone

in the midst of a process.

"We will of course follow the development closely, but the fact that we have come this

far is, in my opinion, worthy of a peace prize," he said.

Tybring-Gjedde agreed with him.

"This is a nudge to make Donald Trump finish what he's started," Tybring Gjedde said.

We have to agree that Donald Trump has done far more to receive the Nobel Peace Prize

this week than Barack Obama ever did during his presidency.

Top Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway agreed that Trump deserves the prize far more than

his predecessor did.

"Look, the last president was handed the Nobel Peace Prize.

This president is actually going to earn it," Conway said on Wednesday.

"And that's all we need to know from this.

It's his moxie."

Trump: Dems want illegal immigrants to 'infest' US - Daily News - Duration: 5:25.

An irate President Trump on Tuesday defied mounting bipartisan pressure to end his zero-tolerance policy of taking migrant children away from their parents — and charged that Democrats want "illegal immigrants" to "infest" the US

"Democrats are the problem. They don't care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be, to pour into and infest our Country, like MS-13

They can't win on their terrible policies, so they view them as potential voters!" the commander-in-chief raged on Twitter

And he defended his policy, saying that "only 2,000" children have been taken away from their parents

"We must always arrest people coming into our Country illegally. Of the 12,000 children, 10,000 are being sent by their parents on a very dangerous trip, and only 2000 are with their parents, many of whom have tried to enter our Country illegally on numerous occasions," the president tweeted

"If you don't have Borders, you don't have a Country!" he added in another tweet

"#CHANGETHELAWS Now is the best opportunity ever for Congress to change the ridiculous and obsolete laws on immigration

Get it done, always keeping in mind that we must have strong border security," he said in a fourth

The president in another tweet also doubled down on his false claim that crime is up in Germany as a result of the country's immigration policies — suggesting he had inside information that Germany's leaders have kept a lid on

see also Trump falsely claims crime in Germany is 'way up' President Trump lashed out at Democrats — and Germany —

"Crime in Germany is up 10% plus (officials do not want to report these crimes) since migrants were accepted

Others countries are even worse. Be smart America!" he wrote.  Crime in Germany is at its lowest level since 1992

Trump planned to talk about immigration legislation later Tuesday with House GOP lawmakers at the Capitol

And one of Trump's top allies in Congress said he would introduce stand-alone legislation to stop the family separations — in case a pair of House Republicans' broader immigration bills fail this week

North Carolina GOP Rep. Mark Meadows, a leader of the conservative Freedom Caucus, says his bill "becomes a backup proposal

"  The legislation was expected to take an approach similar to the family separation provisions in the House Republican bills

They loosen existing procedures that limit the amount of time minors can remain in custody, which would allow them to stay with their parents rather than face separation

Critics complain it would open the door to longer detentions for kids.  The administration is under pressure to reverse an immigration enforcement policy that has led to the separation of nearly 2,000 migrant children from their families in recent weeks

Democrats are united in their opposition, and a growing number of Republicans — including conservative Texas Sen

Ted Cruz — also are calling for an end to Trump's hardline policy.  "All Americans are rightly horrified by the images we are seeing on the news, children in tears pulled away from their mothers and fathers

This must stop. Now," Cruz said in a statement.  Republican Rep. Bob Goodlatte of Virginia said lawmakers "need to do everything we can" to make sure children can stay with parents who cross the border illegally

Goodlatte is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and a key player on immigration legislation before the House this week

He said in an interview Tuesday on CNN that he has no objections to keeping migrant families together

He added that he is backing the two House immigration bills that are set to come up for a vote

Goodlatte authored one of the measures, which is favored by conservatives.  A rival, compromise GOP immigration measure includes language curbing the separation of immigrant children from parents when they are detained

Lawmakers also hope to add that language to a more conservative measure.  If neither bill can pass, Goodlatte said he will take a look at a simpler, short-term bill sponsored by Cruz that would keep families together

Homeland security officials say they are still working out the process of reunifying parents with their children after they're separated at the border

Officials said Tuesday that 2,342 minors were separated from their parents who were caught trying to come to the US illegally from May 5 to June 9

Later, during a rambling speech at the National Federation of Independent Business' 75th anniversary celebration at the Hyatt Regency, the president riffed on child smuggling, the need for his proposed border wall, immigration reforms, Canada and his election night victory in November 2016, among other topics

Trump Explains His Immigrant Child Kidnapping Policy - Duration: 0:55.

My fellow Americans

do you remember when I said

that I could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue

and not lose support?

Well I haven't done that...

YET.

But I have now ripped thousands of children

from their families and tossed them in cages

and internment camps.

And it turns out...

Trump was right!

According to a Quinnipiac poll,

55% of Republicans

support my kidnapping policy!

Over half!

It may not be murder, per se,

but kidnapping is a close second!

Now if you excuse me,

I have to go think of other crimes

against basic human decency

that Republicans will support and justify!
