Trump news on Youtube Jun 12 2018

Some of the ideas that have been presented by

President Trump are really cruel and atrocious.

The two-foot thick, solid concrete wall

is death for wildlife.

Over there, we have the Santa Rita Mountains

where El Jefe lived for at least three or four years;

one of the most recent cats in Arizona.

Then over there to the east we have the Patagonia Mountains,

which we think that are the gateway of

jaguars and ocelots coming into the states.

And we know that in the next mountain range,

in the Huachucas, there has also been

jaguars documented in the last ten years.

And then south of where we are, straight line thirty miles,

we have also documented jaguars in the Sierra Azul,

Sky Island in Mexico.

So this is jaguar habitat, this is northern jaguar habitat.

S. Korea on close watch for Kim-Trump summit - Duration: 2:00.

It's the eve of the long-waited summit between North Korea and the U.S.

As the results of that summit deals directly with security on the Korean Peninsula and

goes in sync with future developments in inter-Korean relations,... the South Korean government

is on the ground and keeps a close watch.

Our Oh Jung-hee, who's part of Arirang's Singapore summit special coverage team, files us this

report from Singapore.

Negotiations between North Korea and the U.S. are continuing until the very last minute...

but, it's nothing to worry.

That's according to South Korea's presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae... at a press briefing

in Singapore on Monday.

Speaking to the international press, Seoul said... the fact that North Korean leader

Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump are sitting face-to-face, in and of itself,

is a big leap forward.

"The fact that the leaders of North Korea and the U.S. arrived in Singapore yesterday

marks the official beginning of the summit and that is highly significant.

We expect a fierce tug-of-war to continue between the two sides until tomorrow's summit

ends, but we also expect some good outcome."

During the 7 decades that have passed since the end of the Korean War,... there's been

no single North Korea-U.S. summit.

And that is why, Seoul says, it's all the more crucial for both sides to build and confirm

confidence in each other... at this first-ever summit.

An unnamed official from South Korea's presidential office highlighted... it is one of Pyongyang's

biggest goals to be recognized as a sincere partner for dialogue.

The South Korean government is cautious in its comments on the Pyongyang-Washington summit,

but it's keeping close tabs on the developments,... dispatching a special team of officials on

the ground.

The team is to deliver the latest developments of Kim-Trump summit to the home government,...

while bringing and releasing the South Korean government's own response as well.

All that will happen at Korea Press Center -- a press center Seoul set up in Singapore

separately from International Media Center.

"As for now, there's a low possibility that a three-way summit involving South Korean

President Moon Jae-in will happen after the North Korea-U.S. summit ends, but Seoul says

it will stay ready for all possible scenarios.

Once the results of the summit is out, Seoul is to release its official response here,

at the Korea Press Center.

Oh Jung-hee, Arirang News, Singapore."

Moon calls on Kim, Trump to make big, bold decisions ahead of historic summit - Duration: 2:57.

President Moon Jae-in has called on the leaders of North Korea and the U.S. to make big, bold

decisions ahead of the historic Kim, Trump summit in Singapore.

We're also learning that the South Korean leader held a phone conversation with his

U.S. counterpart just moments ago.

Our chief Blue House correspondent Moon Connyoung reports.

"I hope the two leaders will make big, bold decisions that generously answer to each others'

demands so that the wish for a new age upon the Korean peninsula from those around the

world comes true."

A big give and take by North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump...

is what the South Korean president who's been a major driver of rapproachement with the

North is calling for on the eve of what he's referred to as a historic turning point from

war to peace.

Mr. Moon's remarks during a weekly meeting of his top aides come as U.S. negotiators

met with their North Korean counterparts one last time to try to nail down final details

for the first-ever summit between a sitting U.S. president and a North Korean leader.

The U.S. team, led by Sung Kim, a longtime State Department diplomat who now serves as

the U.S. ambassador to the Philippines had held at least five sessions with the Pyongyang

delegation over the past two weeks at the demilitarized zone in Korea.

But, the two sides reportedly have struggled to close the gap between the U.S. position

on North Korean denuclearization; which means it would immediately dismantle its weapons

program, ship nuclear warheads out and allow international inspectors to verify the results.

North Korea likely envisions a staged process, where each concession from the North is met

with something from the U.S. Sanctions relief, economic aid, a formal peace

treaty to end the 1950 to 53 Korean war and formal diplomatic ties could all be potential

sweeteners to any deal.

Nonetheless, the South Korean president expressed confidence that the historic Kim, Trump summit

will be a success... adding South Korea should and will remain the driver in all endeavors

regarding the Korean Peninsula.

"We will continue to do our utmost until the Korean Peninsula is completely denuclearized

and a lasting peace regime is established.

I ask for the Korean people's support to ensure under no circumstance we lose the attitude

and determination that we are the leaders when it comes to Peninsula issues."

"The South Korean president who's been touted by many for brilliantly brokering the talks

between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and U.S President Donald Trump, is following the

summit from more than 45-hundred kilometers away but keeping his country, and rightfully

so, in the equation... as he hopes to complete the journey that he started... a formal end

to a near seven-decade war... a path to peace.

Moon Connyoung, Arirang News, the Blue House."

The Media Spins Trump's G7 Summit, But Here's What They Don't Want You to See - Duration: 4:36.

The Media Spins Trump's G7 Summit, But Here's What They Don't Want You to See

 .

The mainstream media tried to turn President Donald Trump's historic G7 appearance into

another circus.

They focused on the "devastating" statements from other world leaders — including one

already famous photo.

But there are a few things they are leaving out.

This weekend, President Trump met with other world leaders at the G7 Summit.

It was an important meeting, where the president discussed the massive trade imbalance that

the United States has with our allies.

President Trump was unapologetic when he laid out his plans.

The United States will no longer tolerate the lop-sided situation we have with Canada

and other nations.

They are allowed to dump their products into the United States, with little or no problem.

Meanwhile, our goods sold overseas (and up North) are hit with massive tariffs.

In the case of U.S. dairy sold in Canada, we are hit with a 270% tariff.

In no uncertain terms, the president said those days were over.

That kind of stance requires tough talk and resolve, which Trump has in spades.

To confront the leaders of other nations and tell them big changes are in the works, that

takes a spine of steel — the kind of spine past presidents were lacking.

Naturally, the other leaders would not be happy.

They've been taking advantage of America for decades.

They wouldn't like being told the party is over.

The pathetic excuse for a PM of Canada, Justin Trudeau, went to the press bashing Trump.

The media also made it seem like the other leaders were furious — hellbent on getting

back at Trump.

The picture below has been making its way around social media for days now with plenty

of Leftists shaking their angry little fists at the president claiming this photo shows

how rude Trump is.

How little he respects the rest of the world.

How he's just a big ol' meanie head.

How THIS is surely a sign of the end of times.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel found the contentious Group of Seven summit with U.S.

President Donald Trump a "sobering" and "depressing" experience but said European

leaders won't be "taken advantage of" on trade.

She conceded in an interview on German public television Sunday that the meeting's outcome

"wasn't a great thing."

[Source: Twitchy]

Taken out of context, this seems like Trump is being hostile and unnecessarily tough with

our allies, which is everything the liberal media says about him.

We'll get to the facts in a second, but why are the American media outlets attacking

Trump over this?

Would BBC or any journalist from other countries criticize their leaders for putting their

country first?

Why are American outlets upset that Trump is getting tough with other countries?

His stance will help America tremendously.

You'd think, as Americans, they'd be happy about it.

Sadly, the media puts their hatred of Trump before patriotism.

It's understandable that Merkel was upset over the outcome of G7.

What leader wouldn't be concerned that their gravy train was about to end?

But the tone of the German chancellor was not one of anger or confrontation, but sober

resignation to the facts.

She knew the United States couldn't and shouldn't keep the toxic trade imbalance.

That's why she said it was "sobering."

She's not dealing with limp-wristed Barack Obama anymore.

But before you think our allies were about to bum rush Trump, take a look at this.

Interesting how they leave this other picture out of the story and how it's NOT going

viral.

It was taken just moments later.

This is how our dishonest media spreads fake news.

They take a photo, a split-second moment frozen in time.

Paired with a carefully edited article, they can push a narrative that the G7 leaders were

antagonistic at Trump.

But what does second photo tell you?

Donald Trump is an effective leader.

He is a shrewd negotiator and incredibly personable.

Even economic rivals like Canada and Germany will be won over by his skill and charm.

They might not like the changes coming to their trade deals, but they are far from becoming

enemies with the United States.

But an honest portrayal of the events at G7 would make Trump look good.

President Trump is bringing his plan to the table.

The other leaders — understandably — are upset or concerned, but they are willing to

negotiate.

They want good trade deals with the United States and are willing to work with our president.

What does CNN or ABC report?

"Trump angers the world!"

"Merkel depressed and angry!"

They don't care what kind of damage they are doing, or how they disgrace their reputations,

as long as they can tarnish Trump's image to the American people.

This is more reason to reject the mainstream media

and everything they say.

Trump, Kim arrive in Singapore for their historic summit - Duration: 1:17.

"The entire world is watching..."

North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un's words after landing in Singapore for his summit

with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Tomorrow's meeting will be the first of its kind, a summit with global security at stake.

Both leaders flew into Singapore yesterday under heavy security and speculation - particularly

where North Korea's Kim is concerned.

It was his longest flight for an overseas trip since rising to power in late 2011.

But Pyongyang actually dispatched three different flights Sunday, apparently to keep everyone

guessing as to which plane Kim Jong-un was on.

The North's leader and his entourage were then swept up in a motorcade, which transported

them to their hotel, before Chairman Kim headed to the presidential palace to meet Singapore's

prime minister.

Every detail of his whirlwind trip is being documented and scrutinized, examined between

the lines ahead of his reported departure tomorrow afternoon.

No wonder he realizes, "the entire world is watching."

Robert De Niro uses F-bomb against Donald Trump on live TV during Tony Awards - Duration: 4:21.

Oscar-winning actor Robert de Niro issued an expletive-laden denunciation of US President Donald Trump during the live television broadcast of the Tony Awards ceremony on Sunday

De Niro, a staunch Trump opponent, appeared on stage at New York's Radio City Music Hall to introduce rocker and Tony Awards performer Bruce Springsteen

"I'm gonna say one thing. F--- Trump," De Niro said, double fists raised and without any preamble

With the audience of theatre actors, directors and producers shrieking and rising to their feet in applause, De Niro said: "It's no longer down with Trump

It's f--- Trump." The legendary actor urged the audience to vote in November and lauded Springsteen for his own political commitment before the singer sat at a piano for a moving performance based on his "Springsteen on Broadway" show that had him singing his classic hit, "My Hometown

" De Niro said of Springsteen: "Bruce, you can rock the house like nobody else and even more importantly in these perilous times, you rock the vote, always fighting for, in your own words, truth, transparency and integrity in government

Boy, do we need that now." The expletive, known as the F-bomb, was bleeped by the CBS network for millions of television watchers at home, a CBS spokeswoman said

However, it was heard by those in the audience and journalists covering the awards show, which honors the best of Broadway theatre

De Niro is one of the most respected actors in the United States with two Oscar wins for "Raging Bull" and "The Godfather: Part II

" The White House did not immediately return a request for comment. CBS also did not return a request for further comment

The anti-Trump sentiment swept backstage as playwright Tony Kushner and others from "Angels in America" spoke to reporters about its three big wins: best play revival and acting trophies for Andrew Garfield and Nathan Lane "I agree," Kushner said when asked about the De Niro moment, dropping an F-bomb of his own in relation to the president

"I can't believe De Niro did that," Kushner said. "Good for him. I mean, it's Robert De Niro

Who's gonna argue with him?" Kushner went even further, calling Mr Trump's presidency "the Hitler mistake" that put a "borderline psychotic narcissist in the White House

"  De Niro, a noted liberal, has been increasingly critical of Trump, a Republican, at smaller showbusiness events, but none have the high profile and audience of the Tony Awards

A month before Mr Trump was elected, De Niro called the candidate "stupid" and said: "I'd like to punch him in the face

"  The Tony Awards show was seen by some six million Americans last year.

Trump open to putting U.S. embassy in Pyongyang: Axios - Duration: 0:29.

Setting up an American embassy in North Korea.

It's an idea Trump is open to.

Citing sources familiar with the summit preparations, U.S.-based Internet news site Axios reports....

it's one of the many topics that could be discussed at the meeting.

The working groups of both sides have touched on establishing official relations.

A U.S. embassy in Pyongyang was an option that was brought up.

But according to a source close to the White House... such a move depends on what Trump

gets in return... and denuclearization would have to be underway.

Will careful Kim and bossy Trump get along? - Duration: 2:21.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump.

They are different yet similar in some ways.

Which is why a lot of attention is being drawn to not just whether they can reach a deal....

but on if they can get along.

Choi Si-young examines the potential chemistry between the two larger than life figures.

Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump are to face-off in what some call the 'summit of the century.'

But, will the two strong personalities clash or get along?

A look at how they present themselves might offer a clue.

Kim's striking backcombed hair is a part of his signature look.

He is also rarely seen without his Mao style suit, which he has also worn to Singapore.

When speaking, Kim seems to pause frequently, interrupting his flow of words.

A body language expert explains what these mean.

"Kim Jong-un wants to look older with the heavily gelled hair.

He wears Mao suits because he wants to look like his grandfather Kim Il-sung.

That way, he is seeking legitimacy for his rule.

And, his manner of speech shows he is rather careful, thinking between the lines."

Trump, too, is also famous for quaffed hair, as well as his hand gestures, punctuating

his speeches with these motions.

The former reality show star also talks fast with little to no breaks.

The expert says these are signs of a bossy character that demands attention.

Will these two larger-than-life characters find some chemistry?

"Careful Kim and bossy Trump are on the opposite ends of the personality spectrum.

I think in the first meeting they will really get along because they will be curious and

want to get to know each other better.

However, if the negotiations drag on, or Trump hears something that he doesn't like, then

with his pushy personality, the talks could break down."

It seems that perhaps after the initial honeymoon period of getting to know each other, reaching

the next level in their relationship could prove tricky... especially if neither side

is willing to back down.

Kim-Trump summit day finally arrives - Duration: 1:49.

The historic meeting between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald

Trump is currently underway, after it started at 9 a.m., local time, that is 10 a.m. here

in South Korea.

For more on this, our Lee Ji-won, who is part of Arirang's special Singapore Summit Coverage

Team is out there in the city state for us.

Ji-won, tell us more about how the summit is proceeding.

Jiyoon, we are now three hours into the summit.

And the two leaders are now having their expanded meeting with their closest aides by their

side.

The U.S. delegate includes Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Chief of Staff John Kelly and

National Security Advisor John Bolton.

And for North Korea, they are Vice chairman of North Korea's ruling workers party central

committe, Kim Yongchol, vice chariman of the ruling Workers party Ri Su-yong and foreign

affairs minister Ri Yongho.

The talks began slightly before 10 a.m. local time, and is scheduled for an hour and half,...

so theres about thirty minutes left of that meeting.

Now, if the earlier meeting of one-on-one between Kim and Trump was to see each others'

sincerity and determination to commit in what would be a historic deal,... this expanded

meeting is where the two sides will finalize, and make the complete version of a possible

joint declaration for today's summit.

And after this the two sides will hold a working lunch, which will be joined by Press Secretary

Sarah Sanders, National security council senior director for Asia Matt Pottinger and Ambassador

Sung Kim, a former nuclear negotiator who had been at the forefront of working level

talks with the North until the very last day.

But we do not know yet who will be joining from the North.

And that lunch will be the last schedule for this historic summit,... but there is still

a possibility for it to be extended, like we all thought it was going to be, considering

the optimistic and hopeful atmosphere shown awhile ago.

And to do so, Kim Jong-un will have to reschedule his flight,... as he is expected to fly back

to Pyongyang at 2 p.m., according to Reuters.

Now, while Trump is scheduled to hold a press briefing in the afternoon and return to the

states at 8pm, bloomberg said, citing a U.S. official, that he was willing to stay longer

in Singapore depending on how the summit goes.

But they say the revelation of Kim Jong-un's surprisingly early departure also prompted

Trump to schedule his flight earlier.

Can you tell us more about their first historic encounter

Sure.

The historic moment happened at 9-04 exactly.

Now, when they shook hands, the two had firm faces but it wasnt anything negative, but

more, like careful friendliness.

And this was shown further when trump gently and friendly touched Kim numerous times, like

patting Kim on the back,... as they made their way to the summit room.

And while their first encounter is significant in itself,.. there's more to talk about in

their first encounter.

It seemed like much effort had been made to put the leaders on the same level, neither

of them having upper hand or more power.

The two leaders, entered at the exact same time from each end,... to meet at the very

center.

And that scene is probably what North Korea has wanted for a long time,... as it has been

wanting to be seen as an equal partner to the U.S.

Once they were in the room, they both took turns to make short comments on the summit.

Unlike the uncertainties that was raised before this moment,... Trump was very optimistic

that the meeting will be tremendously successful.

He also said that they will have a terrific relationship ahead, and that it is an honor

to meet Kim.

And I think that this was Trump's efforts to start the meeting on a positive tone, considering

how it is not easy for someone to speak so highly of the other, after their years long

adversaries and looming uncertainties over today's summit.

Now, Kim mentioned briefly on their past relations, saying how it was not easy for them to come

all the way upto where they are now.

But by saying that they are now here, after overcoming all the prejudice and obstacles,...

Kim also expressed a very future-oriented optimistic tone towards this meeting.

And with that the two leaders started their 45 minute long one-on-one meeting with only

the interpretors.

We're guessing that it would've been an opportunity for the two leaders to have exchanged their

deep opinions.

Okay.

So can you tell us more about what this historic in the making is about?

Sure Jiyoon.

We're hoping that this deal would once and for all put a definite end to North Korea's

nuclear programs.

There have been numerous agrements made before, but they all failed mainly for lack of trust

for each other.

And while the U.S. is asking the North for a complete, verifiable, irreversible denuclearization

or CVID, the North too is asking a complete, verifiable, irreversible security guarantee

also known as CVIG.

Now we did hear from inside sources that there was a conflict between the two sides on putting

CVID down on paper as the North sees it as portraying the regime as a defeated country.

We also heard that the two had issues in the dismantling process of North Korea's nuclear

weapons.

The US seeks to take out all of North Korea's ready made nuclear materials.

But with Pyongyang also firm on what it wants,.. including establishing diplomatic ties with

the U.S., setting a peace treaty, and lifting economic sanctions,...

I guess the two sides have good enough cards to give and exchange to each other.

And hopefully we'll see a satisfactory outcome today.

Jiyoon.
