Trump news on Youtube Jun 12 2018

It has been on, it has been off, and then on again and now the day has arrived for

what many are calling the summit of the century. The world didn't think they

would see this meeting; the first time a sitting American president, Donald Trump

in this case, sitting down with the North Korean leader Kim Kong-un. This is what

Kim Jong-un has always wanted. He has wanted one-on-one discussions with the

United States. What's on the table here? Well clearly the issue of

denuclearisation. Donald Trump says that he wants complete and verifiable

denuclearisation from North Korea. Kim Jong-un has nuclear weapons. It is what

has delivered him this far. It is what has got him a seat at the table. How much

is he prepared to bargain away? He wants recognition and respect. He has received

this with the meeting, but he also wants regime survival. The United States is

saying it could offer some form of security guarantees. The Secretary of

State Mike Pompeo has said that much but he wouldn't say exactly what those

security guarantees would be. Now North Korea of course has held this nuclear

gun to the world's head for months. It is extraordinary that it has come this far.

Just six months ago Kim jong-un had never met a foreign leader. Since then he

has traveled to China twice for meetings with Xi Jinping, he has crossed into

South Korea to meet Moon Jae-in the South Korean president, but this is

the meeting that counts. This is the meeting that he has wanted. It is an

opportunity to create history but if nuclear weapons has delivered him

this far the question remains why would he give them up.

How Trump's Wall Will Hurt Wildlife - Duration: 1:01.

Some of the ideas that have been presented by

President Trump are really cruel and atrocious.

The two-foot thick, solid concrete wall

is death for wildlife.

Over there, we have the Santa Rita Mountains

where El Jefe lived for at least three or four years;

one of the most recent cats in Arizona.

Then over there to the east we have the Patagonia Mountains,

which we think that are the gateway of

jaguars and ocelots coming into the states.

And we know that in the next mountain range,

in the Huachucas, there has also been

jaguars documented in the last ten years.

And then south of where we are, straight line thirty miles,

we have also documented jaguars in the Sierra Azul,

Sky Island in Mexico.

So this is jaguar habitat, this is northern jaguar habitat.

S. Korea on close watch for Kim-Trump summit - Duration: 2:00.

It's the eve of the long-waited summit between North Korea and the U.S.

As the results of that summit deals directly with security on the Korean Peninsula and

goes in sync with future developments in inter-Korean relations,... the South Korean government

is on the ground and keeps a close watch.

Our Oh Jung-hee, who's part of Arirang's Singapore summit special coverage team, files us this

report from Singapore.

Negotiations between North Korea and the U.S. are continuing until the very last minute...

but, it's nothing to worry.

That's according to South Korea's presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae... at a press briefing

in Singapore on Monday.

Speaking to the international press, Seoul said... the fact that North Korean leader

Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump are sitting face-to-face, in and of itself,

is a big leap forward.

"The fact that the leaders of North Korea and the U.S. arrived in Singapore yesterday

marks the official beginning of the summit and that is highly significant.

We expect a fierce tug-of-war to continue between the two sides until tomorrow's summit

ends, but we also expect some good outcome."

During the 7 decades that have passed since the end of the Korean War,... there's been

no single North Korea-U.S. summit.

And that is why, Seoul says, it's all the more crucial for both sides to build and confirm

confidence in each other... at this first-ever summit.

An unnamed official from South Korea's presidential office highlighted... it is one of Pyongyang's

biggest goals to be recognized as a sincere partner for dialogue.

The South Korean government is cautious in its comments on the Pyongyang-Washington summit,

but it's keeping close tabs on the developments,... dispatching a special team of officials on

the ground.

The team is to deliver the latest developments of Kim-Trump summit to the home government,...

while bringing and releasing the South Korean government's own response as well.

All that will happen at Korea Press Center -- a press center Seoul set up in Singapore

separately from International Media Center.

"As for now, there's a low possibility that a three-way summit involving South Korean

President Moon Jae-in will happen after the North Korea-U.S. summit ends, but Seoul says

it will stay ready for all possible scenarios.

Once the results of the summit is out, Seoul is to release its official response here,

at the Korea Press Center.

Moon calls on Kim, Trump to make big, bold decisions ahead of historic summit - Duration: 2:57.

President Moon Jae-in has called on the leaders of North Korea and the U.S. to make big, bold

decisions ahead of the historic Kim, Trump summit in Singapore.

We're also learning that the South Korean leader held a phone conversation with his

U.S. counterpart just moments ago.

Our chief Blue House correspondent Moon Connyoung reports.

"I hope the two leaders will make big, bold decisions that generously answer to each others'

demands so that the wish for a new age upon the Korean peninsula from those around the

world comes true."

A big give and take by North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump...

is what the South Korean president who's been a major driver of rapproachement with the

North is calling for on the eve of what he's referred to as a historic turning point from

war to peace.

Mr. Moon's remarks during a weekly meeting of his top aides come as U.S. negotiators

met with their North Korean counterparts one last time to try to nail down final details

for the first-ever summit between a sitting U.S. president and a North Korean leader.

The U.S. team, led by Sung Kim, a longtime State Department diplomat who now serves as

the U.S. ambassador to the Philippines had held at least five sessions with the Pyongyang

delegation over the past two weeks at the demilitarized zone in Korea.

But, the two sides reportedly have struggled to close the gap between the U.S. position

on North Korean denuclearization; which means it would immediately dismantle its weapons

program, ship nuclear warheads out and allow international inspectors to verify the results.

North Korea likely envisions a staged process, where each concession from the North is met

with something from the U.S. Sanctions relief, economic aid, a formal peace

treaty to end the 1950 to 53 Korean war and formal diplomatic ties could all be potential

sweeteners to any deal.

Nonetheless, the South Korean president expressed confidence that the historic Kim, Trump summit

will be a success... adding South Korea should and will remain the driver in all endeavors

regarding the Korean Peninsula.

"We will continue to do our utmost until the Korean Peninsula is completely denuclearized

and a lasting peace regime is established.

I ask for the Korean people's support to ensure under no circumstance we lose the attitude

and determination that we are the leaders when it comes to Peninsula issues."

"The South Korean president who's been touted by many for brilliantly brokering the talks

between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and U.S President Donald Trump, is following the

summit from more than 45-hundred kilometers away but keeping his country, and rightfully

so, in the equation... as he hopes to complete the journey that he started... a formal end

to a near seven-decade war... a path to peace.

Moon Connyoung, Arirang News, the Blue House."

Trump Just Made Earth-Shattering Announcement About What He's Doing For U.S. – Libs In Mass Panic - Duration: 5:51.

When American's elected President Trump, we knew exactly what they were getting.

Not a politician.

We were in a place where one president after another did the same thing, talked big and

did nothing.

Not just Obama, look back and see that very little change ever happened.

American's were tired of it, and what we received was a shrewd businessman that doesn't

care about politics but deliberately and desperately cares about America, and it's people.

As the G-7 summit approached Trump levied massive tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and the

EU.

All of them vowing to retaliate.

The Media critics came out of the woodwork finding anyone to criticizes the president's

actions.

But instead of heeding the warnings of his critics, Trump continues to stand by his actions.

He has said multiple times that America is being taken advantage of by nearly every nation

in the world, but not anymore.

Yesterday in a news conference, a reporter from CNN asked him a question that he didn't

like, the way the president handled it was epic!

According to The Hill:

President Trump slammed CNN as "fake news" after a reporter with the news organization

asked him a question during a press briefing at the Group of Seven (G-7) summit.

After the reporter asked Trump a question about tensions between him and other leaders

at the G-7 summit, the president asked what network he was from.

"Who are you with out of curiosity?" Trump asked the reporter, who replied that he was

from CNN.

"I figured," Trump said.

"Fake News CNN.

The worst."

Trump then began to say that he "could tell by the question," before clarifying that

he did not previously know the reporter's affiliation.

"I have no idea you're with CNN," he said.

"After the question I was just curious as to who you're with, you're with CNN."

He then answered the reporter's question, defending his relationship with the other

leaders of top industrialized nations present at the summit in Canada.

"I would say that the level of the relationship is a 10.

We have a great relationship — Angela [Merkel] and Emmanuel [Macron] and Justin [Trudeau].

I would say the relationship is a 10," he said, referring to leaders from Germany, France

and Canada, respectively.

Trump blasted leaders ahead of the summit over the intensifying trade battles, after

he imposed steep tariffs on steel and aluminum affecting allies Canada, Mexico and the European

Union.

He has also faced criticism over his calls to reinstate Russia into the group.

Russia was suspended from the then-Group of Eight over the 2014 annexation of Crimea.

The president is planning to leave the G-7 summit early to depart for Singapore, where

he will meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Tuesday.

The president has been highly critical of CNN throughout his presidency, pushing back

on negative coverage and referring to the network as "fake news."

In that same speech, President Trump went on to chastise our trade partners leaving

no question on how he would be dealing with them.

Fox News reported:

President Trump used a press conference at the G7 summit in Canada to double down on

his tough stance on trade, telling reporters that the United States is

like "the piggy bank that everybody is robbing" but promising that that is ending under his

leadership.

Trump made the remarks before he departed Charlevoix, Canada, after meeting with world

leaders.

Trump had entered the summit amid a spat with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and

French President Emmanuel Macron over U.S. tariffs on steel and aluminum.

But Trump said that talks at the summit had been "extremely productive" about trade

among other issues.

Despite reported tensions surrounding the summit, Trudeau announced on Saturday that

all seven countries had signed onto a summit communique, The Associated Press reported.

"People can't charge us 270 percent and we charge them nothing, that doesn't work

anymore," he said.

He said he believes other countries are now more committed to a fairer trade relationship.

"I don't blame them, I blame our leaders," he said.

"In fact, I congratulate leaders of other leaders for so crazily being able to make

those trade deals that were so good for their country and bad for the United States."

But he promised an end to the situation, and even warned of penalties for countries that

do not remove trade barriers.

He also said that the North American Free Trade Agreement could either be renegotiated,

split up into separate trade deals, or the U.S. could pull out entirely.

"We are like the piggy bank that everybody is robbing," he said.

"And that ends."

He warned that the U.S. will take any action necessary to defend Americans from unfair

trade practices.

Despite the tension between Trump, Europe and Canada, the president has emphasized what

he has described as strong relations.

During a Friday meeting with Trudeau, who Trump has had an often uneasy relationship,

he joked that his Canadian counterpart had "agreed to cut all tariffs and trade barriers."

Trump said he didn't blame the other leaders for what he saw as an unbalanced trade relationship

which hurts the U.S.

In true Trump form, he came in and told the world how things were going to change.

Not caring about whose feathers were ruffled.

Trump is like no other.

We have had these horrible trade deals for 50 years and we have all just come to a place

of excepting it.

But not Trump, he is just completing another campaign promise.

Those days are over, either they join the U.S. in fair trade or those countries will

be left behind.

They all vow to rebuff the president, but in the end, we all know that Trump will win,

which in-turn means America wins.

PRICELESS: Trump Just Got Massive Revenge On Obama – Today Is The Day! - Duration: 5:21.

PRICELESS: Trump Just Got Massive Revenge On Obama – Today Is The Day!

President Trump has done remarkably well over the last year and a half that he has been

in office.

More so than most people expected, which is good for America and the American people.

While many of his detractors from within the party and from the opposition party have wished

him ill he has continued to rise to the occasion.

And his approval ratings prove this.

Furthermore, in comparison to President Obama, he blows all his predecessors out of the park.

The Gateway Pundit reported,

"According to the latest FOX News poll President Donald Trump has a better rating than Presidents

Obama and Reagan at the same point in their presidencies.

President Trump's approval is now at 45%.

And that is with 90% negative coverage from the far left mainstream media.

President Trump – 45%.

President Obama – 44%.

President Reagan – 44%.

On June 9, 2010 Barack Obama's approval number was 46% on the Rasmussen poll.

President Trump's approval number is at 47% according to Rasmussen today.

Again….

That is with 90% extremely negative coverage for President Trump!"

These poll numbers come despite the negative narrative that the mainstream media has been

perpetuating about the president.

News outlets are depicting him as spinning out of control with his calls that the Mueller

investigation is unconstitutional, saying he could pardon himself, as well as asking

for an indictment of former Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey.

Yet his approval rating is better than ever.

Fox News reported,

"And Time's cover portrays him as a lordly king, besotted by "visions of absolute power."

So how is it that Trump's approval rating has bounced back to 45 percent in the new

Fox News poll, and 44 percent in the Wall Street Journal/NBC poll?

While that's not a fabulous number, it's roughly where Barack Obama was for several

years, and hardly the statistic you'd expect from someone on the verge of political oblivion.

One obvious answer is the economy, stupid.

We are at 3.8 percent unemployment, matching the lowest number in decades.

And more than half in the Fox poll approve of Trump's handling of the economy.

But it goes deeper than that.

Much of the public simply isn't breathlessly following all the scandal stuff and controversies

and flap-of-the-day flareups the way the press corps is.

Many voters shrug off his provocations and exaggerations because they think he is delivering

for them on kitchen-table issues and like his economic warfare against China.

Trump has also consolidated his Republican support to a remarkable degree; except for

some contrarian lawmakers and conservative pundits, he is the GOP.

After more than 16 months in office, despite the media's hair-on-fire approach, the country

is growing more accustomed to his reality-show style.

Things that once would have been explosive—he dictated the denial involving the Trump Tower

meeting after his aides denied it!—now barely last a news cycle.

He has changed the game.

As Rich Lowry puts it in Politico, "Trump seems a little less exotic…His zaniness

isn't as strange or threatening as it seemed at the outset.

Trump's tweets have gone from unprecedented use and abuse of the bully pulpit to something

like the wallpaper of our national political debate."

Now the Journal/NBC poll does contain some warning signs.

By a 25-point margin, voters say they're more likely to back congressional candidates

who serve as a check on Trump.

Fifty percent of those surveyed saying they want a Democratic-controlled Congress, with

40 percent wanting the GOP to remain in charge.

But I'm always wary of such national figures when these are ultimately local races, and

only competitive in some districts.

The pundits who once saw a blue tsunami coming are now not so sure that Trump will cost the

Republicans the House.

And with the president heading this weekend to Singapore, liberal New York Times columnist

Nick Kristof says this: "Sadly, Democrats in Congress are responding in a quite Trumpian

way: They seem more concerned with undermining him than supporting a peace process with North

Korea.

"Trump's newfound pragmatism is infinitely preferable to the threat of nuclear war that

used to hang over all of us, so it's mystifying to see Democrats carping about any possible

North Korea deal."

Kristof, who previously criticized "smug liberals" like himself for knee-jerk opposition

to everything Trump does, has a point.

It's not that the president, who has been busy lowering expectations for the Kim meeting,

is going to instantly strike a deal.

But he no longer appears the warmonger that critics say is recklessly taking the country

to nuclear war.

None of this means that Trump's polls can't slide if he makes mistakes or the Russia probe

takes a menacing turn.

But there is a yawning gap between his actual support and the media's portrayal of an

embattled and unpopular president."

President Trump has been keeping all of his campaign promises and more.

He has funded the border wall, he has provided comprehensive tax reform, he has instituted

steel and aluminum tariff's, he has held North Korea's feet to the fire and gotten

them to concede and brought peace to North and South Korea.

This is after just one year on the job.

Imagine what he could do with the remaining 2.5 years.

The American people are recognizing his work and they want to reward him, and they have

with their support.

Trump, Kim arrive in Singapore for their historic summit - Duration: 1:17.

"The entire world is watching..."

North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un's words after landing in Singapore for his summit

with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Tomorrow's meeting will be the first of its kind, a summit with global security at stake.

Both leaders flew into Singapore yesterday under heavy security and speculation - particularly

where North Korea's Kim is concerned.

It was his longest flight for an overseas trip since rising to power in late 2011.

But Pyongyang actually dispatched three different flights Sunday, apparently to keep everyone

guessing as to which plane Kim Jong-un was on.

The North's leader and his entourage were then swept up in a motorcade, which transported

them to their hotel, before Chairman Kim headed to the presidential palace to meet Singapore's

prime minister.

Every detail of his whirlwind trip is being documented and scrutinized, examined between

the lines ahead of his reported departure tomorrow afternoon.

No wonder he realizes, "the entire world is watching."

Robert De Niro uses F-bomb against Donald Trump on live TV during Tony Awards - Duration: 4:21.

Oscar-winning actor Robert de Niro issued an expletive-laden denunciation of US President Donald Trump during the live television broadcast of the Tony Awards ceremony on Sunday

De Niro, a staunch Trump opponent, appeared on stage at New York's Radio City Music Hall to introduce rocker and Tony Awards performer Bruce Springsteen

"I'm gonna say one thing. F--- Trump," De Niro said, double fists raised and without any preamble

With the audience of theatre actors, directors and producers shrieking and rising to their feet in applause, De Niro said: "It's no longer down with Trump

It's f--- Trump." The legendary actor urged the audience to vote in November and lauded Springsteen for his own political commitment before the singer sat at a piano for a moving performance based on his "Springsteen on Broadway" show that had him singing his classic hit, "My Hometown

" De Niro said of Springsteen: "Bruce, you can rock the house like nobody else and even more importantly in these perilous times, you rock the vote, always fighting for, in your own words, truth, transparency and integrity in government

Boy, do we need that now." The expletive, known as the F-bomb, was bleeped by the CBS network for millions of television watchers at home, a CBS spokeswoman said

However, it was heard by those in the audience and journalists covering the awards show, which honors the best of Broadway theatre

De Niro is one of the most respected actors in the United States with two Oscar wins for "Raging Bull" and "The Godfather: Part II

" The White House did not immediately return a request for comment. CBS also did not return a request for further comment

The anti-Trump sentiment swept backstage as playwright Tony Kushner and others from "Angels in America" spoke to reporters about its three big wins: best play revival and acting trophies for Andrew Garfield and Nathan Lane "I agree," Kushner said when asked about the De Niro moment, dropping an F-bomb of his own in relation to the president

"I can't believe De Niro did that," Kushner said. "Good for him. I mean, it's Robert De Niro

Who's gonna argue with him?" Kushner went even further, calling Mr Trump's presidency "the Hitler mistake" that put a "borderline psychotic narcissist in the White House

"  De Niro, a noted liberal, has been increasingly critical of Trump, a Republican, at smaller showbusiness events, but none have the high profile and audience of the Tony Awards

A month before Mr Trump was elected, De Niro called the candidate "stupid" and said: "I'd like to punch him in the face

"  The Tony Awards show was seen by some six million Americans last year.

Trump open to putting U.S. embassy in Pyongyang: Axios - Duration: 0:29.

Setting up an American embassy in North Korea.

It's an idea Trump is open to.

Citing sources familiar with the summit preparations, U.S.-based Internet news site Axios reports....

it's one of the many topics that could be discussed at the meeting.

The working groups of both sides have touched on establishing official relations.

A U.S. embassy in Pyongyang was an option that was brought up.

But according to a source close to the White House... such a move depends on what Trump

gets in return... and denuclearization would have to be underway.

Will careful Kim and bossy Trump get along? - Duration: 2:21.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump.

They are different yet similar in some ways.

Which is why a lot of attention is being drawn to not just whether they can reach a deal....

but on if they can get along.

Choi Si-young examines the potential chemistry between the two larger than life figures.

Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump are to face-off in what some call the 'summit of the century.'

But, will the two strong personalities clash or get along?

A look at how they present themselves might offer a clue.

Kim's striking backcombed hair is a part of his signature look.

He is also rarely seen without his Mao style suit, which he has also worn to Singapore.

When speaking, Kim seems to pause frequently, interrupting his flow of words.

A body language expert explains what these mean.

"Kim Jong-un wants to look older with the heavily gelled hair.

He wears Mao suits because he wants to look like his grandfather Kim Il-sung.

That way, he is seeking legitimacy for his rule.

And, his manner of speech shows he is rather careful, thinking between the lines."

Trump, too, is also famous for quaffed hair, as well as his hand gestures, punctuating

his speeches with these motions.

The former reality show star also talks fast with little to no breaks.

The expert says these are signs of a bossy character that demands attention.

Will these two larger-than-life characters find some chemistry?

"Careful Kim and bossy Trump are on the opposite ends of the personality spectrum.

I think in the first meeting they will really get along because they will be curious and

want to get to know each other better.

However, if the negotiations drag on, or Trump hears something that he doesn't like, then

with his pushy personality, the talks could break down."

It seems that perhaps after the initial honeymoon period of getting to know each other, reaching

the next level in their relationship could prove tricky... especially if neither side

is willing to back down.
