Supporters Flock To See Trump Motorcade, POTUS Stunned By 1 Sign In The Crowd.

On Thursday, President Donald Trump traveled to the Joint Interagency Task Force South

at Naval Air Station Key West for a border security briefing with Homeland Security Secretary

Kirstjen Nielsen.

While en route, he was given an awesome surprise throngs of Trump supporters had lined the

highway into Key West holding homemade banners and waving American flags.

POTUS was particularly stunned by one sign he saw in the crowd.

President Donald Trump departed West Palm Beach, Florida, on Thursday after spending

several days with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his wife at Mar-a-Lago.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe began two days of meetings with President Trump at the

president's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida Tuesday.

Just looking over the amount of issues these two world leaders will need to discuss, their

"special relationship" will be tested in a historic manner.

At the start of their meeting, President Trump announced, with Abe at his side, that North

and South Korean leaders – who are holding their own summit April 27 – will seek to

finally reach an agreement to formally end the Korean War, which was halted with an armistice

in 1953.

[Source: Fox News] By all accounts, Donald Trump's time with

Shinzo Abe was a resounding success.

The pair has kindled a tight relationship ever since the 45th president took office,

and that relationship will be instrumental as North and South Korea meet for historic

peace talks.

For her part, First Lady Melania Trump treated her Japanese counterpart to a tour of a historic

U.S. mansion as their husbands discussed official business:

First lady Melania Trump might be one of the few not overly awed by a marble-bedecked and

gold-plated Gilded Age mansion that she and her Japanese counterpart toured Wednesday.

While President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe golfed at the president's

nearby country club, their wives visited Whitehall, the 75-room, 100,000-square-foot (9,290-square

meter) waterside retreat that oil and railroad tycoon Henry Flagler built as a wedding present

for his third wife, Mary Lily Kenan Flagler.

The Flaglers wintered there beginning in 1902, and it is now the centerpiece of the Flagler

Museum.

Arriving in a motorcade from Mar-a-Lago, the president's own gold-plated mansion 3 miles

(5 kilometers) away, Melania Trump and Akie Abe were greeted by Flagler's great grandson

William Matthews, and museum Executive Director Erin Manning, who led them through a tour

of the home, which historians say cost $4 million ($110 million today) to build.

[Source: ABC News] After wrapping up his time with Japanese Prime

Minister Shinzo Abe, President Donald Trump headed to the Joint Interagency Task Force

South at Naval Air Station Key West for a border security briefing with Homeland Security

Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

While en route, he was treated to an inspiring display by his supporters, who had lined the

highway into Key West.

One woman's sign labeled Trump "our greatest president."

President Donald Trump was deeply moved by the outpouring of support he received in Key

West, and he commented on the size of the crowds after his briefing at the Naval Air

Station.

"I hope you saw the crowds in Key West," the president told reporters.

"I've never seen anything like that, it was really very inspirational, and what we

just witnessed was incredible.

Even the media will have to say that was quite something," Trump said.

Later in the day, a video of the impressive crowd set to Lee Greenwood's "God Bless

The USA" was posted to Trump's Instagram account.

Indeed, this level of support for any president one year into their administration is "quite

something."

The media is working overtime to discredit him and smear his character by parading around

any sleazeball who claims to have slept with him in the past two decades.

It is obvious that the American people can see right through these shameless attempts

to bring down the man who has turned Washington on its head in the best way.

Trump Makes Stunning Announcement After Mueller Raid

BREAKING NEWS: President Trump has broken his silence after Special Council Robert Mueller

raided the office of his personal lawyer Michael Cohen.

At the start of a meeting with senior military leadership Monday night, Trump blasted the

FBI's raid, calling it a "disgraceful situation" and an "attack on our country

in a true sense … an attack on what we all stand for."

The president said: "It's a total witch hunt.

I've been saying it for a long time.

I've wanted to keep it down.

I've given over a million pages in documents to the special counsel.

They continue to just go forward and here we are talking about Syria, we're talking

about a lot of serious things … and I have this witch hunt constantly going on for over

12 months now.

Actually it's much more than that.

You could say right after I won the nomination it started."

Trump also criticized Attorney General Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the Russia

investigation, saying, "[H]e made what I consider to be a very terrible mistake for

the country.

But you'll figure that out."

The Mueller investigation has cost taxpayers tens of millions of dollars and dragged on

for nearly a year straight.

And yet, there's still not an iota of evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and

the Russian government.

Do you agree with Trump that Mueller's investigation is nothing

more

than

a witch hunt?

Unlike Obama, Trump proves he's determined to deter Russian aggression

The media and Democratic politicians are painting President Trump and his administration as

lapdogs for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In fact, nothing could be further from the truth.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., recently lambasted President Trump's supposedly

"soft" stance on Russia, claiming: "President Trump seems more intent on undermining the

rule of law in this country than standing up to Putin."

Such fact-free assertions are nothing more than partisan political attacks.

When comparing President Trump's actions against Russia to those of President Obama,

it is immediately clear that Trump has taken a more responsible approach.

President Trump is the Russia hawk, not President Obama.

Calling the current president "soft" on Russia is both dishonest and unscrupulous.

Attacks by Democrats on President Trump's Russia policy are an attempt to hide the fact

that the current administration has been much tougher on Russia than that of President Obama.

The reason for these attacks is to deflect from President Obama's foreign policy failings,

and to preserve the rapidly collapsing "Russian collusion" narrative.

Democrats seem to have erased the former president's legacy on Russia from their memories, such

as the time during the presidential debates when Mitt Romney called Russia "America's

number one geopolitical foe."

President Obama's response was both mocking and dismissive as he said: "The 1980s are

now calling to ask for their foreign policy back, because the Cold War's been over for

20 years."

Consistent with President Obama's naivete, U.S. policy towards Russia was largely defined

by appeasement and utopian wishes.

Officials in the Obama State Department put their fingers in their ears and their hands

over their eyes, steadfastly refusing to acknowledge Russia's machinations and Putin's ever-increasing

global ambitions.

Unsurprisingly, Russian militarism went unchecked as President Obama's administration handed

Putin a big red reset button.

Putin is not the evil maniacal ruler that some make him out to be.

Like any savvy autocrat, he's an opportunist who seeks to advance his agenda wherever and

whenever possible.

Thanks to President Obama's hands-off mantra, Putin was given a unique opportunity to exploit

America's retreat in key spheres of influence.

Nowhere is this better illustrated than President Obama's inaction during the Russian annexation

of Crimea, seizing it from Ukraine.

Likely feeling emboldened by American passivity in Syria, Putin decided to up the ante in

his quest to make Russia once again a global powerhouse.

After watching as his Ukrainian ally Viktor Yanukovych was ousted as leader of that nation,

Putin decided to go all in on Crimea.

"Little green men" flooded across the Russian border into sovereign Ukraine – effectively

controlling the region by March 2014.

The United States and its European allies – still playing by the old rulebook and

not expecting territorial annexation to happen in 21st century Europe – reacted only weakly.

President Obama imposed minor sanctions, which did little more than bruise Russian defense

firms and banks.

What he did not do is more notable: he refused to provide lethal aid to Ukraine, despite

repeated requests from the embattled government.

Ukraine wouldn't be the end of Russia's ongoing adventurism.

Seeking to build upon its existing sphere of influence in the Middle East, Putin decided

to dramatically increase Russia's presence in the Syrian civil war.

After failing to enforce his own "red line," Obama called upon Moscow to broker an agreement

with Damascus to remove chemical weapons from the conflict.

Putin was more than happy to negotiate an "agreement" that let Assad maintain his

stockpiles of chemical weapons, which are still utilized, brutally and cruelly, to this

day.

Obama passively watched as Putin worked with Assad to commit atrocities against the Syrian

people.

Munitions, arms, and soldiers steadily flowed from Moscow to the Assad regime with no scrutiny.

Putin's forces helped conduct countless airstrikes on civilian areas.

Thanks to the Obama administration's naivete and foolish trust in Putin, Russia received

a free pass for its complicity and barbarism.

In contrast to the Obama administration's misguided and soft approach, President Trump

has been tough on Russia.

He reversed the previous administration's decision to not send weapons to support the

Ukrainian government.

Russia has continued to incite an armed uprising in Ukraine's Donbass region – hoping to

potentially annex that region as well.

But thanks to the Trump administration, much-needed weapons, including Javelin missiles, have

been sent to Ukraine to help quell the Russian-backed rebellion.

The president has taken the gloves off against Putin and his puppet, Syrian dictator Bashar

Assad.

Unlike Obama, Trump backed up American "tough talk" when Assad used chemical weapons against

his own people in the Syrian city of Khan Shaykhun last year.

U.S. forces launched a total of 59 Tomahawk missiles at Shayrat Airbase in Syria in response

to the attack, destroying approximately 20 percent of the Assad regime's airpower in

the process.

And Assad wasn't let off for his recent use of chemical weapons in the Syrian city

of Douma.

In a coordinated effort with Britain and France, the United States launched strikes on three

Syrian regime sites early Saturday.

The Pentagon praised the attack for being "Precise, effective, and overwhelming."

Additionally, the Trump administration offered no apologies or condolences after a deadly

recent clash with Russian mercenaries.

In a major escalation, United States military forces, backed by AC-130s and Apache attack

helicopters, obliterated more than 300 Kremlin guns-for-hire near the Syrian city of Dier

al-Zor in the most lethal encounter between American and Russian forces since the Cold

War.

President Trump hasn't been afraid to target Putin's Kremlin foot soldiers and political

cronies as well.

After it came to light that Russia had poisoned one of its ex-spies in Britain, President

Trump worked in tandem with Britain and our European allies.

The president kicked 60 Russian intelligence officers out of the U.S. and closed the Russian

Consulate in Seattle.

This was the largest purge of Russian spies in American history.

President Trump also recently imposed far-reaching sanctions on seven Russian business tycoons,

including Putin's former son-in-law and other Moscow-backed entities.

John Bolton, President Trump's new national security adviser, solidifies the administration's

hardline stance on Russia.

Moscow certainly needs no introduction to Bolton, who has been a hawkish critic of Putin

and the Russian regime.

Bolton has advocated for the United States to retaliate against Russia through intensive

"cyber-warfare," and has signaled that America should go further in providing more

aid to the Ukrainian government.

Throughout his presidency, President Trump has taken a more aggressive posture against

Moscow than Obama.

Don't expect the administration to let up.

Unlike President Obama, President Trump has learned that only bold and decisive actions,

not meaningless red lines, will deter Russian aggression.

Alex Titus is a fellow at America First Policies, a nonprofit organization supporting policy

initiatives that will put America first.

Republican Matt Gaetz represents Florida's 1st congressional district in the U.S. House

of Representatives.

BREAKING: Moscow Sends War Message To President Trump…

WW3 Getting CLOSER.

Russia is continuing to warn the West of further attacks against Russia.

Whether it be in the form of missiles or sanctions, the former Soviet Union doesn't seem like

they wish to play "war games" any longer.

The United States this month added several Russian firms and officials to a sanctions

blacklist in response to what it said were the Kremlin's "malign activities."

Moscow says those sanctions are unlawful and has warned that it will retaliate in a "painful"

manner.

"No one should be under any illusions," said Valentina Matvienko, who is closely aligned

with the Kremlin, was quoted as saying by the Interfax News Agency.

Matvienko, the speaker of the Russian upper house of parliament, said on Wednesday that

Moscow's response to any United States sanctions will be targeted and painful, Russian news

agencies reported.

"Russia's response to the sanctions, our so-called counter-sanctions, will be precise,

painful, and without question sensitive for exactly those countries that imposed them

[the sanctions] on Russia," she was quoted as saying, according to Reuters.

"Sanctions are a double-edged sword and those who impose them should understand that

sanctions against countries, especially those like Russia, will carry with them risks of

serious consequences for those who impose them," Matvienko added.

Lawmakers in the lower house of the Russian parliament have drawn up legislation that

would give the government powers to ban or restrict imports of U.S. goods and services

ranging from medicines to software and rocket engines.

However, the Kremlin has not yet said if it backs such measures.

U.S. President Donald Trump mentioned the joint U.S., French, and British military operation

last weekend that struck several sites in Syria to punish the Russian-backed government

of President Bashar Assad for an apparent chemical attack that killed civilians.

Trump said the strike was "absolute precision."

A senior U.S. administration official said on Monday Trump has delayed imposing additional

sanctions on Russia and is unlikely to approve them unless Moscow carries out a new cyber

attack or some other provocation that would warrant sanctions.

Trump decides to abandon plans for more Russia sanctions: U.S. media - Duration: 1:50.

Now for a look at stories making headlines around the world….

U.S. media are reporting that President Trump may be abandoning plans to impose more sanctions

on Russia.

Washington's UN envoy Nikki Haley had said more sanctions would be coming early this

week for Russia's support for Syria's suspected chemical attack on its civilians.

For more on this and other international news we turn to our Ro Aram…

Aram… the conflicting comments from the White House and Haley are causing confusion…..

That's right Semin…

Citing Washington officials, U.S. media reported Thursday that President Trump personally made

the decision scrap plans to impose more sanctions on Russia

The Trump administration was reported to have informed Moscow of the decision in a phone

call to the Russian Embassy on Sunday, moments after Haley told a CBS interview that sanctions

were coming the day after.

Officials were said to have assured the Russian embassy that Haley's comments were incorrect,

adding the phone call was necessary to avoid confusion.

However, the sources also said that the State Department official, who made the call, told

the Russian side that Moscow was not off the hook and that sanctions were not completely

off the table.

The officials were said to have conveyed that the issue was still under consideration.

A spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry was also reported to have confirmed the phone

call took place.

The mixed messages from the White House and Haley have again caused confusion over Washington's

stance on Russia support for the Syrian regime.

The White House also publicly said Haley was confused, but she insisted that she was not.

Trump has been under fire for not taking a strong stand against Russia and this latest

revelation will only add to those criticisms.

Rick Joyner ‒ First Day Of Trump Admin And The Name Of Jesus Is Lifted Up - Duration: 11:58.

well happy Saturday to you today and

what an awesome day it is it's the day

that the Lord has made so we don't want

to mess it up and anyway heard this

morning that uh thousands gathered for

6:00 a.m. this morning for prayer in

Washington for the new president the new

administration and all and that's a

demonstration you won't see the media

covering but uh what an awesome thing

but uh just some further thoughts on the

president's first day in office

yesterday I'm still you know going over

his speech and and you know the more

I've gone over it the more amazing that

speech is to me he really addressed some

the key issues of our time and also I

like to go to all the networks and see

how they're covering them and it was

bizarre how extreme some of them reacted

and and it's causing them to constantly

put out fake news you know when the he

should saw all of the cameramen and

reporters in there watching Trump assign

his first executive orders they put out

they start tweeting and everything that

Trump had moved

Churchill's bust back into the Oval

Office and removed the bust of Martin

Luther King and there they were there

was a rising rage about this it's

totally not true I mean these guys it's

unbelievable and it's really hurting the

media it's hurting their credibility but

I don't know they they don't know

whether a Secret Service man may have

been standing in front of Martin Luther

King's bustard a door opens that was

covering whatever but it hadn't been

moved it was still sitting in there and

they had tried to create this real rage

for it and it seems like more and more

the more the media tries to attack

Donald Trump the more they're just

getting caught in it and you know last

week they put out this article in the

new

work times about Governor Rick Perry

taking over Department of Energy how he

had said you know anyway he had made

statements to the effect that he he

didn't even realize that it included the

nuclear arsenal and all kinds of other

responsibilities totally not true Rick

Perry knew that from the beginning and

even talked about it in the very

beginning when he was first have to do

it he said I know the responsibility of

taking care of our nuclear arsenal and

all this but the news media is just

going nuts and but they're there looking

worse and worse but we need a quality

dependable news media and more people go

to posts like this now for their news

understandably than they do to the

traditional sources so and you know I

don't have all the resources of them to

people to check everything and and

whatever so I do occasionally also put

out things that I have to later go back

and retract but I'm trying to get better

at that and I have so many of you

fact-checking checking me and I

appreciate that because we want to stand

by the truth but there is a meltdown

going on but you look at Donald Trump

from the beginning you know he is busted

through every barrier they've tried to

put in front of him done everything that

everybody has said can't be done and all

the pundits are still trying to judge

everything by the rules of the past and

all the rules have changed you know the

political laws of gravity are not the

same as they were two years ago but very

few in the media seem to have grasped

that and they're using the fact that uh

you know Trump is coming across like a

populist president with a populist

message there they're dividing him over

that but I tell you the people

are not and listen if there's one thing

we should have certainly learned from

the last election you can't believe what

the polls are saying I don't believe the

polls that say Obama's job approval was

as high as they said it was when he's

blind I don't believe this both you can

make a poll say anything you want

neither do I believe Donald Trump's are

as low as they say they are you can make

a poll say anything you want by you poll

and the questions you ask and so anyway

I think we've we've got to look at

external sources sources for for truth

and but I believe there's going to be a

media that arises that is devoted to

integrity and truth regardless of where

that truth Falls politically or anything

else the truth is the truth and Donald

Trump is kind of setting a course for

that you know when he he bashed the you

know there's a lot of talk today about

in his inaugural speech he bashed all

the people were sitting behind him he

did from both parties hey he was an

equal opportunity offender he let them

all have it and he let them all have it

for being politicians and not leaders

and he's changing the rules of the game

because he's bringing in leaders and he

is not bringing in the politicians and

we really need to mark those who are

dragging their feet who are becoming an

obstructionist we've got to stand up now

that he's been elected I believe we have

got to stand up and let our voices

continue to be heard continue to support

him and we also need to stand up when

it's when he does stuff that we don't

agree with we need to just stand up for

what we believe is the truth not

compromise our convictions on in any way

but I take one of the most refreshing

things and watching this morning's

national prayer service what was the way

that name of Jesus was so prevalent

boldly speaking they were boldly

speaking out in the

of Jesus again praying in the name of

Jesus lifting up the name of Jesus had

friends there who were some of those who

were speaking you know and they uh did

an awesome job but I am so thankful the

name of the Jesus the name of Jesus is

being lifted up again and also you know

I thought it was very gracious yesterday

when Trump at that luncheon right after

the inauguration how he did honor Bill

and Hillary Clinton for coming out to

that lunch and said how much he

appreciate it and how much he respected

them that was an awesome thing to do

that and it was genuine a lot of people

were hammering him for not mentioning

them in the speech before but I think

that was right that was a very partisan

crowd when they introduced humor the

crowd booed him they would have booed

Hillary big time yesterday so he waited

got in the luncheon but then he did

under them

now we give honor to whom honor is due

and there are a lot of ways I think

Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton have

done some very dishonorable things but

on the things we can find to honor

anyone on with we should Hillary Clinton

was an amazing fighter and you may not

want to hear that and listen I think

she's fighting for the wrong cause I

absolutely despise many of the things

she stood for I think they were evil and

I think she has done great evil and

great damage to our country there's no

question about that but I also like

Trump acknowledged even he respect her

endurance her her willingness to fight

on I mean she's getting hit by all the

investigations the emails thing it she

just plowed on and how hard was that

every day she was getting slammed for a

long time but she she stood in there and

she fought on and I do respect that kind

of endurance and all in I don't wish

evil on anyone I think if she does need

to be prosecuted it's because we've got

to stand up for the law but not out of

any vendor

to thing or trying to get evil even with

her or them but but you know there's got

to be a standard and we've got to

respect classified in secret information

we've got to protect our intelligence

community by treating them with the

utmost respect and securing them as they

need to be and following the law you

know

when Obama but you know basically said

he was not going to enforce any law he

did not agree with he was immediately

should have been impeached for that he

was breaking his own valve that he made

when he took the office to uphold the

laws of the land and but then it just

said to the whole country why should i

bade that law if i don't agree with it

why should I just go 55 miles an hour I

just agree with that speed limit

why should I bathe it where does it stop

why should I pay taxes I disagree with

those taxes you know I disagree I mean

you can go right on down the line and

but we've got to have a restoration for

the respect of law and authority in our

country you know one of the terrible

things that says about the last

generation that the youth has have they

despised parents no more respecter of

good and no more respecter of parents

and of authorities and now you can see

how that's been sewn into the land and

how we've got to stand up against it and

I think the Lord's given us another

chance now so thankful for that so

thankful to hear the name of Jesus being

lifted up in our land again and really

like it or not believe it or not even

its lays 1870s our Supreme Court said

that America was a Christian nation

now a lot of Christians have become

politically correct and don't want to

hear that but it but we were also

committed to religious liberty it didn't

mean you had to be a Christian to be

here but we were going to be boldly and

unapologetically Christian we built our

system of government and we tried to to

Democratic Party files suit alleging conspiracy by Trump campaign, Russia, WikiLeaks - Duration: 5:01.

Democratic Party files suit alleging conspiracy by Trump campaign, Russia, WikiLeaks to sway

2016 election The Democratic Party on Friday filed a multimillion-dollar

federal lawsuit against Trump campaign officials, the Russian government and WikiLeaks alleging

a widespread conspiracy to tilt the 2016 election in Donald Trump's favor.

Calling it an "all-out assault on our democracy," the Democratic National Committee filed the

civil suit in federal district court in Manhattan.

The suit amounts to another legal broadside related to the 2016 race, on top of the special

counsel's ongoing Russia probe and the FBI raid on Trump's personal attorney last week.

"The conspiracy constituted an act of previously unimaginable treachery: the campaign of the

presidential nominee of a major party in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its

own chance to win the Presidency," the suit states.

It claims that Trump campaign officials worked in tandem with the Russian government and

its military spy agency to bring down Hillary Clinton by hacking into the computer networks

of the DNC and spreading stolen material.

"During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our

democracy, and it found a willing and active partner in Donald Trump's campaign," said

DNC Chairman Tom Perez in a statement, calling the alleged collusion "an act of unprecedented

treachery."

'During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our democracy,

and it found a willing and active partner in Donald Trump's campaign.'

- DNC Chairman Tom Perez The suit names several Trump campaign aides

who met with Russian nationals during the campaign, including son-in-law Jared Kushner,

campaign chair Paul Manafort and campaign deputy Rick Gates.

"In the Trump campaign, Russia found a willing and active partner," the suit claims.

"In 2016, individuals tied to the Kremlin notified the Trump campaign that Russia intended

to interfere with our democracy.

Through multiple meetings, emails, and other communications, these Russian agents made

clear that their government supported Trump and was prepared to use stolen emails and

other information to damage his opponent and the Democratic Party."

Gates and Manafort have both been charged in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation

into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

The suit also claims Wikileaks founder Julian Assange "shared the defendants' common

goal of damaging the Democratic Party in advance of the election."

The suit states Russia, using WikiLeaks, would disseminate information stolen from the DNC

"at times when it would best suit the Trump campaign."

Trump has strongly – and repeatedly – denied colluding with the Russians.

Most recently, he cited the newly released memos from former FBI boss James Comey to

assert his innocence and decry the Russia probe itself.

"James Comey Memos just out and show clearly that there was NO COLLUSION and NO OBSTRUCTION.

Also, he leaked classified information.

WOW!

Will the Witch Hunt continue?" he tweeted.

While the FBI recently raided Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen's home, office and

hotel room to seize a collection of documents, a source said Deputy Attorney General Rod

Rosenstein assured that Trump was not a target of that probe.

Trump's legal team, meanwhile, is expanding with the addition of former federal prosecutor

and New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is vowing to seek a swift resolution to the special

counsel probe.

As for the latest court action, suing a foreign country could be difficult for Democrats because

typically, other nations have immunity from most U.S. lawsuits.

However, the suit argues that Russia shouldn't be entitled to sovereign immunity because

the "DNC claims arise out of Russia's trespass on to the DNC's private servers

… in order to steal trade secrets and commit economic espionage."

The Democratic Party used a similar tactic during the Watergate scandal in 1972.

The DNC sued former President Richard Nixon's reelection committee for $1 million in damages

for the bungled burglary at the Democratic headquarters in the Watergate building.

Former DNC chair Lawrence O'Brien reached a $750,000 settlement from the Nixon campaign

on the day Nixon left office.

Melania Trump Majorly Outclassed Michelle Obama With Incredible Barbara Bush Tribute - Duration: 5:18.

Melania Trump Majorly Outclassed Michelle Obama With Incredible Barbara Bush Tribute

Despite the constant backlash from the anti-Trump groups, the First Lady has conducted herself

very gracefully while in office.

Those who mourned the loss of the Obamas in the White House seem to take personal offense

to the First Lady, even spreading the rumor that she is a hostage in her own home.

That, however, isn't supported by her actions at all.

Opponents of the First Couple were also doubtful if Melania Trump, not a natural born citizen,

would be able to take on the role as First Lady and accomplish everything that needs

to be done.

While it would have been great for those who dislike the President if she had failed, Mrs.

Trump has done a great job, due to no doubt in part, to the women who came before her.

One of her graceful and accomplished predecessors passed away this week.

Barbara Bush, wife of George H.W. Bush died at the age of 92 and even though the Bush

family and the Trump family have had disagreements about political issues, the First Couple were

quick to reach out to the former President and his family to offer condolences.

Melania Trump is demonstrating that she understands that some things are more important, even

than political feelings.

Of course, politics are important, and who we elect is important, but none of it is as

important as paying respects to the family of someone who has passed on.

Even those who disagree with the first Bush administration on certain policy issues can

probably agree that the former First Couple did what they did in an effort to better America.

That's what Melania Trump is focusing on, and that's what we as Americans should take

note of at this tragic time for their family.

Daily Mail reports that the First Lady will be traveling to Texas to pay her respects.

It's as yet unclear if the President will be able to attend:

First lady Melania Trump will travel to Texas this weekend to attend the private funeral

services for former first lady Barbara Bush.

CNN first reported Trump's travel plans.

'Mrs. Trump intends to pay her respects to Barbara Bush and the entire family at the

funeral on Saturday,' Mrs. Trump's Communications Director Stephanie Grisham told DailyMail.com.

The New York Times reported that the Clintons and the Obamas would be attending the services

as well.

Reporters will not be allowed to attend Bush's private funeral service alongside the current

first lady her spokeswoman also confirmed.

'The event will not be pooled as this is about paying tribute to Mrs. Bush,' Grisham

said.

Trump is following in the footsteps of her predecessors, most recently first lady Michelle

Obama, who attended the funeral services for former first lady Nancy Reagan in March 2016.

Hillary Clinton, in her position as first lady in 1994, attended the services held for

the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

President Obama did not attend Reagan's funeral, as he was already scheduled to attend

a Democratic Party fundraiser in Austin held in conjunction with the South by Southwest

festival.

But President Bill Clinton eulogized Kennedy, calling her a 'remarkable woman whose life

will forever glow in the lives of her fellow Americans,' according to the New York Times'

account.

'God gave her very great gifts and imposed upon her great burdens,' Clinton also said.

'She bore them all with dignity and grace and uncommon common sense.'

The White House has yet to say whether President Trump will join the first lady, nor have spokespeople

returned requests for comment regarding whether additional figures from the Trump administration

plan to attend.

The funeral will take place at St. Martin's Church in Houston, where Barbara Bush was

a longtime member.

On Friday, the public can pay their respects to Bush at the church from noon until midnight.

And then Saturday there will be a private service with approximately 1,500 guests, including

Melania Trump.

The dynamic between the Bushes and the Trumps – despite being members of the same political

party – is an awkward one, as President Trump is widely credited with killing former

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's 2016 campaign, labeling the late Barbara Bush's son 'low energy.'

During the primaries, in a rare interview, Barbara Bush told CBS she didn't know how

'women can vote for someone' like Trump, pointing out comments he had made about then-Fox

News Channel anchor Megyn Kelly.

In an interview on Fox Business Network on Wednesday morning, former first lady Laura

Bush suggested that Melania Trump had made overtures to try and bury the hatchet between

the two families.

'She invited me to tea at the White House,' Laura Bush said.

'She's a beautiful woman, and very very lovely.'

'And I think she'll, I think she will do really very well,' Laura Bush said of

Melania Trump's handling of the first lady's duties."
